Our family runs a western riding facility with 30 stalls, where we provide horse boarding and training, including reining and cow work. We also have a western saloon, where we host weddings, special events, and are open for our club members on weekends. We are looking for volunteers for some cultural exchanges in our ecovillage/school. They can come from all over the world. These volunteers help in our school and eco-village. They can learn how to teach an accompany children kindly (most of them are bilingual : French, English, Spanish, Portuguese), respectfully for children needs, and make many workshop with them in- the forest or at school or in the eco-village. We also need help for cooking, sometimes for taking care of a down syndrome 6 years old girl... Volunteers can also help in the eco-village, to organise events, to garden, to cook, to take care of animals, to build some shelters and many other things. They can meet other young adults as we often welcome several of them from different network. Our food is organic and we can offer many activities like yoga, swimming pool, library, music. We are a small organic olive farm, not yet in commercial production and animal refuge. We practice permaculture and the olives are part of a `forest garden` which also includes 200 cork oaks, carob and other trees and shrubs. We also have a vegetable garden and fruit trees . Our rescued animals include dogs, cats, a house pig, donkeys, a goat, ducks, rescue rabbits and worms!. Living in a Mediterranean climate we practice several different methods of water recycling and have a biological swimming pool. Help is required with all aspects of a compassionate, sustainable lifestyle. Meals are vegan, wine is served with the evening meal and we are non smoking. We are beekeepers in a small village near Bayonne, in the south west of France. We live in an old typical farm of the area with animals (one dog, two cats, chickens and millions of bees). We have near to 150 hundred hives which produce different honeys (heather, chestnut, acacia,...). For that we`re moving it in different areas. Hello, we are a franco-swiss couple, we live in the North-West of the region called Limousin ( between Poitiers and Limoges) in a water mill which we are renovating for 15 years now. We live in a rural area in the countryside at 6 km from the nearest town, the nearest train station is 22km away and the nearest airport is in Limoges ( about 64 km away). We used to be helpers many years ago, now it is time to host.
