We are looking for a helper (1 person) anytime this spring, summer and autumn for a 2 to 3 week period (preferred) but that can be further negotiated. We both will have been fully vaccinated for Covid. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn. Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All of this work we do together. We are renovating a 200 year old building for holiday let. Our property is on a terrain of 25 acres with woodland, ponds and streaming waters. Dear Helpers Spring is here and we all have a lot to do. Gardening is in full swing. But there's still work to be done in the forest and the firewood for next winter isn't ready yet. The compost still needs to be made, and so on. The blueberry harvest starts at the end of June and lasts until the beginning of August, so there's a lot to do during this time! We hope to find motivated people who also want to enjoy the pool and nature in our region. This is a small old farm with a lot living space for rent. We have 6ha land to gardening, for animals and forest. 2 Highland cattle mothers and 1 calf and a bull are on the pasture. We are bio-gardening for self-needing or for transformation our products: marmalade, vegetable salt, Pesto …Here are growing apple trees, pears and stone fruit trees. We are a couple who have swapped the office for the outdoors and are renovating an old stone farmhouse in the beautiful mountains of the Cevennes region in the south of France. Our land is in a secluded valley just 5 minutes walk from a small village and 5 minutes drive from a medium sized town. We have a caravan for those who prefer their own space as well as room in the house. Here we live in an ancient school in the mountains of north Ardeche (1350m) ! Hi, We are an Irish couple, farming in France for the past 17 years. We keep cattles and do some tillage farming. There is always work and various projects to be done. If you would like to help out on the farm or with general handywork, house renovation, woodcutting, gardening, housework, feeding animals, etc. we will provide meals & accommodation. We are in the heart of rural France surrounded by beautiful countryside, 3km from small village and 22km from a large town. Bikes available. Internet available. Must be able to speak English.

Hello kind stranger! Our names are Claire and Michiel, we're a young Franco-Belgian family living on an old farmstead near the coast of Wissant, North of France. For 7 years now we are bringing the old farmhouses back to life, while also bringing up our two daughters: Fleur (4yo) and Perle (2yo). We've been hosts on Helpx and other platforms since 2020 and we love the life that a group of volunteers brings to our place. Making you discover French culture, nature and the sea helps us to enjoy it even more ourselves. Playing and and speaking English.:) Other times Tasks: Starting Springtime: the most important help we need would be gardening especially weeding. Other than that, you can help with household and cooking: cleaning the house, washing clothes, folding them, cooking (simple dishes makes us happy too) .
