I've WWOOFed extensively throughout New Zealand since the late 1980's. In recent years I've been spending more time tramping and wilderness backpacking. Does anyone have an interest in tramping and backpacking in the National Parks and conservation areas of the northern half of the South Island, particularly the Kahurangi National Park? I've had some wonderful experiences with tramping companions I met up with through various means, including this website.

I used to sleep in my car, but it is definitely not suitable for two.
