We have a vacancy for immediate start to help at our animal sanctuary, for a minimum of four weeks, longer would be great! We run a no-kill animal sanctuary in the beautiful Irish countryside, an hour's drive from Dublin City. We have horses, sheep, goats, hens, geese, ducks, dogs, cats, a pig and a donkey, all rescued from bad situations and now living out their days in peace and comfort with us. We are on an 70 acre farm in North Pope County, Illinois and are virtually surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest. Having been on this farm for 13 years, we are still developing infrastructure and are continuing to plant in the orchard and various berries as well as establishing and expanding garden and crop areas. We are a GMO, herbicide and pesticide free farm in all of our outdoor areas. As we are far away from "modern agricultural" property, we feel that we should have no problems with cross pollination of our crops with GMO's or damage/exposure from/to ag chemicals. We are a family-run commercial mango farm, producing and drying mangoes. The work is mainly gardening drying mangoes and packing dried fruit and sometime we dry pineapple and dry banana, cleaning and cooking. Accommodation in our home and we will supply all meals and free Wifi is available. Meat based mixed diet shared with hosts. Smoking outside only we are located 1hr from Cairns We eat together in a family atmosphere and all help with cooking and washing the dishes. My name is Paul. About 17 years ago I had this slightly crazy dream of changing my life from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer in the Swedish countryside. Somehow, 17 years later, here we are :) Norrängens is our 100-acre farm just outside Sala, about an hour from Stockholm. We have around 70 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, rabbits, a turkey, my cat Sexy, the kids’ cat Vernon and Malta, our farm dog. I have three children, Liam (22), Dylan (13) and Oscar (10). Liam has grown up and moved away from home. Dylan and Oscar live between me and their mum, although sometimes they seem to spend more time here :) When they’re here they’re part of farm life and help out when they can. Like host and helper information that is often very uninformative, I feel it is important to have an opinion and I hope for one in return. I went on the Wagon Train in Montana like I have since 1983. We had a bad wreck, I got hurt. Please come help me. I will need help September onwards and over the winter please. If you can come anytime in that time period it sure would be appreciated. Tom is a cabinet maker by trade studying to be an architect who enjoys nights at home, road trips, but mostly sport. We live in beautiful Linton. Amongst rolling hills and country side. It is absolutely stunning here. We have two beautiful horses too. Ballarat is a historical town with great night life, surrounding historical towns, bush walks, art galleries, museums, as well as waterfalls and bike riding trails. This is a home stay situated on a sugarcane farm 18km north of Proserpine. Not far from Airle Beach and Whitsundays. There are a variety of chores, I work in the sugar mill but also have a lot of work around my house and sheds. We’re renting a granny flat, and some times there is some cleaning work to be done. I have a young dog and chooks to take care of. If you are looking for some peace and quiet to get away, it will be a good choice.
