** Vacancy from Mid February 2026 Hello! We are a family of five, and enjoy an outdoorsie life on our orchard. Rolf and I have a rambunctious 3 year old daughter Georgie, cheeky 1 year old daughter Lulu and a energetic 5 year old dog Barley. 5 chickens provide eggs and entertainment as well. Together we run our avocado orchard. We have a large veggie garden, greenhouse and 14ha property. We are seeking help with tending the orchard, trees, land and garden. Rolf works full time in town, and Ash works 2 days while taking care of the kids for the rest of the week. We have a warm and cosy cabin for helpers to stay in. The cabin has lights and 2 power sockets, but unfortunately does not recieve WiFi. The cabin is private, has ample parking and has a deck. This cabin is a short walk the main building - our shared space. There is a queen bed, so as long as two people don't mind sharing then it's suitable for two. Space for storing clothes and belongings as well. Lovely outlook onto wide op...

*edit* I’ve recently had an accident and broken my hip,and bashed my head and have been told I need to not over do things… so I could really do with someone to help around the place as soon as possible.. We are a small family, a dad and two lads. I’m Barny and my two sons age 14 and 9. We live completely off-grid in the Eden Valley, on the side of the Pennines “area of outstanding natural beauty” and looking across to the Lake District national park. We live in a cabin and sleep in wagons, that I’ve either built or renovated both a showman's wagon and Gypsy caravans. We have horses, chickens, a cat, and sometimes other animals.. There’s our neglected garden where we sometimes grew vegetables And would love someone to come and breathe life back into it! It’s a beautiful place, 4.5 acres with semi ancient woodland and a stream running through it. It is fairly remote, although there is a village 1km away, where my friends have recently taken over the pub and started putting on musi...

Where I live is Australia's best kept secret. I'm close to deserted beaches, the Snowy River, lakes and mountains. I live here with 2 horses and a miniature horse and the abundant wildlife that calls this place home. I am surrounded by millions of hectares of State Forest, National Parks and Coastal Reserve and there is a huge State Forest just up the road. I am a long term vegetarian. I am well travelled. Very happy to accommodate gay people though I'm not gay myself. Accommodation is in a caravan with a very comfortable double bed, fridge, stove etc. Every evening 50 or so kangaroos graze in my neighbour's paddock and that will be your view. It really is idyllic. This is a tranquil place. A Spiritual place. A place to come and rest and recharge your batteries. Lots of native birds and animals call my place home. I need help with everything. Chainsaw work, general cleaning up, weeding and gardening, painting. Must be comfortable up a ladder as I need the gutters c...

I am an Irish filmmaker recently relocated to rural France, where I am developing a filmmaking residency and independent creative retreat in a 150-year-old French manor house. The property includes a 20+ room château-style house and two vast barns, which I am in the process of transforming into a fully independent film and arts studio complex. The long-term vision is to host filmmaking residencies, Kino Kabaret events, writers’ retreats, and film-industry masterclasses, alongside screenings, collaborative productions, and summer open-air theatre. This is a hands-on, evolving creative space designed for filmmakers, writers, artists, and curious makers who want to live and work together in a quiet, inspiring setting. The barns are being converted into:a 30-seat cinema / screening room editing suites a recording studio additional artist studios and workshop space Inside the main house, the work is largely restoration: painting and decorating historic salons and bedrooms, laying tile and w...

If you feel like giving me a hand with all sorts of projects and you're a relaxed good human, message me. People living the van life can be accommodated. Anyone who has their own bed basically. The location is stunning and magical. It's very private. It's located 200m, as the crow flies, above the village of Rubite. +++ The property consists of 20 hectares of land. For the last 8 years, we have restored the house and have started restoring the land as well. We are reforesting slowly but surely! We are applying a mixture of permaculture, syntropical farming and common sense. Trial and error. Full enthusiasm and dedication. There's always lots to do. Building, gardening, painting. Creatives are most welcome. We like to live life free of stress and drama. This is the atmosphere we like to maintain. It's an amazing place with beautiful sea views, 1000m above sea level. We love and respect this land very much and don't use any chemicals on and off our land. Anyone coming over needs...

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. We've been part of Helpx for several years now and have met some wonderful people, many of whom we still keep in touch with. We live in York, in the north of England, where we have a garden and (a 10 minute walk away) an allotment where we grow fruit and vegetables. We try to cultivate using the `no-dig` method and like to re-use and recycle wherever possible. Our house has solar panels on the roof for hot water and electricity, as we are keen to reduce our impact on the environment. The work includes turning and spreading compost, making new beds and paths, weeding, seed sowing, planting out, grass cutting and fence painting. From early summer, fruit and vegetables are ready to be harvested and prepared for freezing and conserving. If the weather is bad then there are always jobs to get on with in the house, garage and greenhouse. We can offer all meals, laundry and accommodation, (own bathroom) in return for a helping hand, usually around 4 hours a day, 5/6 days a week, or e...

Autonomy for everyone, especially for you and us at mealtime ... Resources are shared according to the availability of the moment. More possibilities if my children are not there, less if I have other guests ... fortuitous ... In the meantime we have no shortage of space in the garden to let you plant your tent or you lend a space... This is the minimum we can guarantee. A cabin is also available on the family sailboat ... Here too, there is work ... The room with double bed of the house is not often free for our helper sometimes the chance does things well, ask what you want, we are in French Polynesia climate is stable all year ;-) We will not ask for more than 2 or 3 hours of help a day in exchange we plan to lodge without food, although fruits from the garden are still part of the tradition of sharing the house... It's up to you to do your shopping and your dish washing and cleaning up after, the load will be in our situation not equitable otherwise.

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

Hi guys March 2026 Location: Quinns Rocks, Perth (Western Australia) Looking for a bit of help around the house for up to one week. The house is a couple hundred metres from the beach in Quinns Rocks. You’ll have full use of the house, with your own bedroom and bathroom, and there will be plenty of food available. The help needed is mostly general things around the house such as spring cleaning, small jobs and some basic maintenance on a boat and trailer. No specific experience is required — just attention to detail, common sense, and a willingness to help out. This would suit someone who wants to spend a few days near the beach while helping with a few practical tasks around the place I have had lots of great Helpx experiences and love the concept

We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. Also 6 chicken, so we always have fresh eggs. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown edible garden. We're about to get ducks in addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We like to work with fun and laughter and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out. Be yourself and join the family... We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Besides having a few rooms available, there're also 2 campervans if you have the desi...

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

OUR Ecovillage (1999) is looking towards a creative and fun season of committed volunteers who wish to work within a collective project opportunity. We are working on the next 25yr Vision and with this are building a very large public art installation project (earthen/cob Dragon sculpture with lots of mosaic work!). OUR 'regenerative living learning journey' forms the platform for the efforts we put towards making a difference in the world. We work within intercultural/intergenerational/interfaith/inter-nation restorative justice framework on our farm and work with research teams on soil/wastewater/energy systems design/etc, and permaculture education projects with learners from local to global! This means we are working with: the gardens, livestock/poultry, food forests, natural building (earthen, strawbale, plaster projects, finishing work, carpentry, etc), food preservation, yummy kitchen crafting for shared meals, mosaic and mural artwork, supporting Eco-tourism & farm guest...

The accomodation is a 8' x 12' studio with a small covered front porch. There's high speed wifi and solar power, and it's surrounded by forest. There's a nice hexagonal composting toilet, an outdoor shower, and a shared kitchen and dining area. Looking for someone who can work independently on some tasks (gardening, painting) while I'm at my day job, and we'll work together some too (tree planting, construction projects). I work as a zipline guide and love touring people around the Island, so I'd be happy to take you on adventures on the weekends too!

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Not much work to do here now, so I mostly only take 1 person at a time You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm wit...
