We have a double bedroom in the house and in the summer the barn is a lovely place to sleep. I have been there all summer, too hot in the house. I have two passions living with nature to create balance and food. And art of which nature plays a huge part. I am an artist and have a studio to play in. Lots of garden work and food processing . I am converting a caravan into the shower and a van into an outdoor kitchen. Come and help me with my adventure. I am re-developing my home to become a retreat where you can to start you relation with nature or renew it. The area has been allowed/left to grow and is now ready to sculpt into a peaceful, abundant, safe space to dive into the earth and all its knowledge. I have four goats to help with the clearing. There is some building work or woodwork I need help with and I would like to make the shed more usable, so plaster boarding to be done later, it is my studio and pool/play room etc.🤗

Hi, we are a family that lives in the south of Italy in the beautiful region of Puglia; in the countryside but not too far from the sea. We have a family-run business in the Cisternino countryside, with holiday homes for tourists, riding stables and recreational activities. Looking for a person who can help in various activities; really interested in the life of the campaign and learning different tasks such as: carpentry, wrought iron, construction, painting, maintenance of the garden and agriculture, but also request for help in the relationship and management of tourists who stay with us. Excellent opportunity for those looking for complete experiences in the field of crafts and tourism and in the relationship with nature and animals. Having 4 children already, we only look for completely independent and flexible people. Musicians and artists in general are welcome (Juan the owner is also a musician). There is a chance to learn how to work wood and iron and many other things. It's ...

Attention!! Please read careful this before you write me. I am so tired of people writing me with all the enthusiasm requesting to come, very often I don't even get I answer back. I assume who ever you are, you are applying to different places at the same time, that's ok, but if you plan to write me, answer back even to say you are not finally coming, take the time to say no. since it was you who initiated the conversation, don't make me loose my time and energy, we are people communicating, not platforms that you can simply ignore when you request a place and find something else, for me this is important and already an essential way of how I want to welcome people in my house. Lets humanize the conversations please, lets take time, lest chage this empty digital hipper speed empty narratives, NOW: I’m inviting a creative and open-minded person to share up to 2 weeks of artistic life in the countryside, just 30 minutes by bike from Amsterdam centre or in my new project in Canary ...

We live in the beautiful Scottish Borders in the countryside near the small town of Duns, 40 miles south of Edinburgh. You would be staying in a very beautiful county, and after a stay with us you could travel and explore the Scottish Highlands and Islands. We are a family of five, my husband Patrick who is a woodworker and designer, me, Naomi, and our three sons aged 20+ . This posting is for a very specific type of help, although you do not need to be qualified or even have experience in the matter. Our second son, Finian, who is 21, has down's syndrome. In September he is moving away to a residential home. Over August he will be here with us for his last month. I, Naomi, would love someone to come and help me during his last month with us. Preferably female. My eldest son, Aaron, has been his carer for the year, but he really needs a break and is off up to university again in September in Dundee. Finian is a lovely, sociable young man who just needs some kind of engagement, ...

Kia ora, travellers! Haere mai - welcome to my whare (home) in beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and insects. We built this eco-earth house using local clay from right under our feet. This land used to be just grass, but after 30 years of caring for this whenua, it now has mature trees, orchards, and organic gardens. Life here is peaceful and quiet, perfect for enjoying nature I am part of the local landcare group, helping protect our native forest, birds, lizards, and insects. We trap predators and remove invasive weeds. You could help with organic/permaculture gardening: vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit trees, chickens, mowing, brush-cutting, compost-making, maintenance and fixing things (basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, chopping firewood. I bake bread. I make apple cider vinegar, bottle fruit, jam, chutney, sauerkraut, and collect seeds. We are a family living in the SW Alentejo, Costa Vicentina, running a small rescue horse sanctuary in the middle of a forest, 12km from the ocean. Our main passion is the care and rehabilitation of rescued horses, providing them with a safe and loving home for life. We also do pedagogical work with teenagers, and in the winter season we work with medicinal & entheogenic mushrooms. We are currently in need of immediate help during the rest of June and the first 3 weeks in July! Their involvement is purely in the day-to-day care of our rescue horses and general upkeep of the sanctuary. We welcome you even if horse work isn't your main focus, there's always something to do around the property. Horses will always be around, and you'll have plenty of opportunity to connect with them. We're looking for people who love being around animals and enjoy working outdoors. If you enjoy simple hands-on tasks like helping maintain fences, clearing paths, basic gardening or forestry work, you'll f...

Hello, thank you for looking at our listing. After a little break from hosting we're looking for helpers for April - October 2026. We are Cathy (47) and Leo (who is 14 years old.) We live in a lovely, but messy little cottage in a very beautiful glen. We are semi-off-grid and at the moment there's several issues with the plumbing so please do not apply if you need a daily hot shower! We like to have several helpers so friends are welcome to apply, alternatively we are happy to take single travellers - but please be aware you may need to share a sleeping area with other helpers (who we will ensure are the same sex and similar age to you.) The accommodation is extremely basic, the house is in disarray and I currently resemble a headless chicken for much of the day! Only apply if you are comfortable with untidiness and disorder. However, despite this you will have fun, be well fed and happy. The gardens and surrounding countryside are beautiful and peaceful, so escaping the crazines...

We are restoring an old traditional Béarnaise house located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the Ouzom valley. We want to share it with people who can help us with the garden as well as with the house to maintain or restore it. Assistance activities concern the maintenance or restoration of buildings (lime plaster, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, etc), maintenance of the garden (brush clearing) and its vegetable garden, whether it is windy or raining, depending on the projects in progress and the skills of each. Slug hunting to be planned every evening at nightfall. Once a week a complete cleaning of the premises will be carried out by all. We ask for 5 hours help a day, 5 days a week. We offer accommodation in a large 4-bed dormitory. Please, bring your work gloves and clothes , if you have any. Everyone must be autonomous and responsible enough to know how to clean and store the tools or things they have used, as well as to participate daily, outside helping time, in all the househo...

Hello! Would you like to stay in a villa by the sea? I offer free accommodation in exchange for a few hours of help. The villa is located 15 minutes from Ajaccio. It has bedrooms with private bathrooms, a gym with a spa, a jacuzzi in a landscaped garden, large terraces and a swimming pool. The beaches are just a short walk away, with small coves and natural pools directly opposite the villa. The panoramic sea view and sunsets make the setting particularly idyllic. A transfer from the airport or ferry port can be arranged depending on availability, during the daytime only. A minimum stay of one week is required. The help mainly involves cleaning, cooking, garden maintenance or small painting jobs. It represents around four hours of help per day, with the option of combining the work into one full day every other day. The rest of the time can be spent enjoying the large Lava beach, the coves in front of the villa, the hiking trails behind the house and, during the summer season, the ...

We live in a Christian community, meeting regularly for prayer, worship and bible study so most of our volunteers share our Christian faith. We are a residential provider of outdoor activities, owned and operated by a small charity. For most of the year we host visiting groups which come to enjoy a range of activities in the beautiful setting of the Scottish Highlands. We are located 2 hours north of Glasgow, the nearest town being Fort William, surrounded by mountains and lochs scenery. There are good road and rail connections to reach us. Volunteers working with us help with cleaning the centre, serving meals, indoor and outdoor maintenance and some grounds work. Life at the centre is quite structured, with a weekly rota and daily task lists to follow. Volunteers are asked to work between 4 and 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. When not engaged in centre duties there are opportunities for volunteers to join in organised activities alongside our groups or to explore the area. V...

ACCEPTING NEW HELPX FROM AUGUST NOW. This can be your basecamp for winter in Tongariro National Park — a dual World Heritage site with two ski fields right up the road. We're at the base of Mt Ruapehu, with Whakapapa and Turoa both within easy reach, so you're sleeping at the mountain rather than driving up in the dark and cold every morning. Wake up, check the conditions, and go. We're a 90-bed backpackers and we're popular with HelpX — usually 4 to 8 helpers on site at any one time, plus a steady flow of guests through the lodge. It's busy, it's social, and there's always something going on. Lots of fellow travellers, lots of mountain time, lots of opportunities to make the most of where you are. We take helpers all year round, but we get booked up well in advance — so reach out early and we'll do our best to work your dates in with your NZ travel plans. Two weeks or more is ideal: time to settle in, wait out the weather, and actually live in the park rather than just passing throu...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Your accommodation is a self- contained unit with kitchenette, bathroom, queen bed, wifi and TV. We can also put a mattress on the floor. I still need help from the begining of July and also in August For summer 2026 (June - September) I need one or two girls to help the bar, room service etc For autumn 2026 (October - November) I need help to close down PS: Please stop texting my WhatsApp number without a valid profile here or elsewhere. I am NOT going to text back. Apollon is a small fishing village in the northern Naxos. The distance from the port (Naxos Town) is 36km but the bus sometimes takes the long way through the mountains (52km). There are 3-5 buses daily from Naxos Town to Apollon and vise versa. The first bus leaves from Apollon at 7 in the morning and tha last at 18.00. The first from Naxos Town leaves at 9.00 and the last at 3.30. That's in the high season (July and August). In Apollon village there are no night clubs. The clubest place is the hotel bar and even this is chill out bar not a dancing bar. Apollon is a summer village. In winter time there are about 100 heroic people but in summer many Greek...

We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. If you have something you are passionate about and want to share with others, we would love for you to run a workshop. One of the best things here is the variety of tasks you can do as a volunteer, which gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and discover what you enjoy doing most. We have a combination of short-term and long-term volunteers and on average we have between 10 to 20 volunteers and resident...

We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). Accommodation would take form of a fully insulated cute tiny garden room with access to undercover cooking area and bathroom. IT is small so please See photos. On week days we are usually working in Perth so we cant provide meals, but a well-stocked supermarket is 200 metres away. When possible we can take turns for meals if possible. We average 2/3 hours a day painting, plumbing gardening and other repairs and can negotiate best time to do that, for example maybe it’s more convenient to do two longer days during the week.Greg is usually available to help you with your car or take you fishing, boating or sightseeing if you’re willing to free him up from his other commitments. When you email please let us know when you plan to get to Per...

Hello, we have a small 3-hectare farm with a vegetable garden, a few fruit trees, and 250 lavender plants. The work is not at all difficult; it consists of watering the vegetable garden every day, which takes about two hour. During the summer, we water the lavender plants twice a week . There’s also some work involved in tending to the plants or harvesting sometime in season . Other than that, if we’re away, you’ll be looking after our mini rooster and his two chicken for the moment . We also have a very sweet cat. Please note that our land is certified organic. It’s located on the edge of a national park, with the option to go for bike rides on a 60-km-long flat, sandy “greenway.” We use water from a groundwater source 110 meters deep—absolutely pure. We are a vegetarian couple; we use soy milk and vegetable butter. If you prefer vegan options, we can provide meals without eggs or dairy. Please do not smoke inside the house or in the fields. The risk of fire is too high in the Langued...

It's ...

Hello 😊 We have a small, peaceful farm looking for a friendly helper (or couple) to join us and experience rural life. Our home has a large garden and a few animals including two pet sheep and hens. We have a productive vegetable garden, fruit trees including figs and walnuts. Most help is outdoors and may include gardening, weeding and general farm tasks. You will stay in a small comfortable cabin on our property where you can be in your own home away from home. The space is private, warm, and clean with a comfortable queen bed and ensuite bathroom. There are cooking facilities including an air-fryer and BBQ Helpers share our home environment in the peaceful surroundings of the farm. Our property has a wonderful view, is quiet and surrounded by nature. We are about 1hour 20 minutes from Christchurch, so you can experience both peaceful rural life and the nearby Akaroa attractions.

The current to-do list includes building a structure in front of two doors to keep the rain out, mo...

Your own car is a good idea however there is a bus stop at the end of the driveway to get into town. We also don’t mind you using our swimming pool during the summer. For free accommodation and wifi we need some help each day which might include weeding, sweeping, hedge trimming, cleaning, house sorting , house renovation//building/painting and grass cutting depending on your experience! We're a truganic, biodynamic, permaculture farm in the Catskill Mountains of New York State, two hours Northwest of NYC. 24 acres with approx. 4 acres of wetlands. Approximately 5 acres under cultivation. We follow all the organic standards, and above (since organic standards are constantly being downgraded by the USDA), but are not certified organic. We DO NOT use pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, "cides" of any kind, or chemical fertilizers. We also follow biodynamic & permaculture principles. Season is April through October. We appreciate 5 hours of work per day, 6 days per week. You can choose 8 am to 1 pm, or 7 am to noon. Sundays off.

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...
