Do you love nature? what about off grid living? How about great food and great company? How about learning some new skills? We need your help with our dream. We have built an earthship (with lots of help already) and want to share in this type of building design. We are located in a gorgeous mountain/ bush setting, totally off grid. We make electricity from solar, and our water comes from a mountain spring. The tasks we do are different everyday as we hope to teach many things to our fellow travellers. Some jobs include; cob making, bottle brick making, rendering, gardening, landscaping, working on a hugle wall (a living wall), harvesting and much more. No experience necessary, just your creative loving hands. Though, if you are skilled in carpentry, construction and earth dwellings then we could use your expertise. Such is the life on a property in the bush. You can sleep in a hut and camping space is also available. We are totally on solar and there is wifi available for 1hour per da...

Need helpers NOW in beautiful, sunny Marlborough! In return for 4 hours help a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house. My sunny home sits atop a hill from which you will have a magnificent view of the township of Blenheim to Cook Strait and the hills of the North Island beyond. Of course if you would prefer to work a full day in order to have a day off in which you could explore the nearby Marlborough Sounds, cycle the wine trails, or walk or climb on any of the formed tracks in this area, that would be just fine. My 40 ha property is a sheep/beef farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is help with this work I require.. Therefore most of the work is outdoor, constantly varied, not difficult, with some indoors work on occ...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature couples as applicants are now open. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking and non-vaping) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is not raining o...

Our farm is located on the coast in Bookara, which is located 20km north of Dongara and 45km south of Geraldton. Dongara is situated roughly 360km from Perth and is a beautiful town. Has its own port also, which is called Port Denison, so twin towns! Port Denison is renowned for having some of the biggest Cray Fishing boats in Australia. They are great to see. Geraldton is a 30min drive from our farm and is a rural city. We are surrounded by some great things, the Midwest has to offer. Our Wild Flowers are one of the best sights to see also, you will see some unbelievable wild flowers thru August and September. Our farm is situated in a perfect location for anyone looking at seeing any Midwest attractions. My family and I are looking at setting up a short stay accommodation destination, for people who would love to experience the, Sun, Surf and fishing and all the other Midwest attractions. After selling our farm we have moved to a beautiful 40 acre block on the boundary of Mount Aspiring National Park. Makarora is a small settlement, 60km north of Wanaka, on the way to Haast and the West Coast. Helper tasks include help maintaining the surrounding native bush, care of the chooks, ducks, dogs and house cows. I need a Helper to be motivated, willing to take a turn with the cooking and other household chores. There is a perfect opportunity for a competent and trustworthy Helper to look after things when I am away for a few days every now and then. Own vehicle a definite advantage. Stunning mountain and bush scenery, plenty of places to explore, including nearby Lakes Hawea and Wanaka. Blue Pools only 8km away. ps if you are a critical thinker / freedom person, please feel free to mention this in your application. It is very refreshing to share my days with like minded folk, especially if you are part of the spiritual awakening in addition to being awake to the global ag...

DO YOU LOVE ❤️ OYSTERS? 🦪🦪🦪🦪🦪🥂 If the answer is YES come and work with us ! If not that's fine as we have lots of nice food to offer. Work for 3-4 hours then we will have an amazing dinner. Often oysters. You can stay with us at our holiday house with water views. Or you can just come for the day and catch the last ferry home after dinner. The option might exist to stay longer but that’s by special request as you’d be alone & would need a car. This would suit singles, (if there's other staying) couples or a group of friends wanting a short but fun adventure. Sometimes we have small numbers just 2 people, other times large numbers but this is usually only when we are there to arrange all the food etc. BRUNY ISLAND has BEACHES, FORESTS, BIRDS, NATURE, and so much more. We are located at Adventure Bay on the South of the island which is roughly a 90 minute journey from Hobart. The first ferry to Bruny island is around 6.50am, then every 30 minutes after no bookings requir...

Openings for fall .... Wow, exploring right outside our backdoor along side the Campbell River on Vancouver Island, is a beautiful place to experience Vancouver Island`s great outdoors this FALL with all the wild life right in our back yard :) Although we live on a one acre town lot, our back yard is situated on a cliff over looking an accessible beautiful heritage river, with a nature park setting of ferns, Douglas fir, maple and alder trees. You can often see deer, raccoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the river’s pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. As well, our neighborhood is the access point to many scenic nature hiking, walking and biking trails. The ocean photo was taken a couple of miles from my home and all other photos are of my house...

I live alone in a comfortable 2 bedroom house on a big section, 10 minutes drive to the city, perhaps 20 minutes by bus. I don't have any organic credentials though I do grow some veges... But it would be great to have some (solo preferred) company, a visitor from around the world, maybe 3-7 days, while you get to explore Auckland before heading off to the beautiful parts of NZ. My spare room is minimally furnished, with an airbed at the moment which people tell me is very comfortable. Just bought a new fold up bed as an alternative. I hope you can cook ... I can lol. Actually I rent this home, so there is no major work to be done, but there is always something, mostly just the housework, and keeping things tidy in the garden. I am a mature guy, classical musician by trade, and I'd enjoy the variety of different visitors from around the world. Ich kann ein Bisschen Deutsch, fast. Around here there is wonderful walking by the sea. though no swimming, it is tidal flats. I can drive...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON. Need help with a garden clean up, at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed(inside and out 🤣,) skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town. It is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay, 2 hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my ...

This is a language cafe is designed for those who are willing to meet Korean locals and the ones from overseas. We provide them with the time and the place to meet and get to know each other while have conversations in English. I know from my experience that travelling or staying in other countries is not just doing sightseeing but experiencing the real life there. Here we try to bond them together as friends. If you are looking for something that can give you a chance to meet locals and to be mingled with them, this would be the best option for you. About the program : This is about the language practice and sharing their cultures, experiences and the thoughts. As long as you are an easygoing person to talk, open-minded and fluent in English, you can join us. As we are NOT looking for English teachers, it really doesn't matter which country you're from and you don't have to teach but have a conversation in English. And basically it is a 2 way conversation so you don't have to ta...

Kia ora, travellers! Haere mai - welcome to my whare (home) in beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and insects. We built this eco-earth house using local clay from right under our feet. This land used to be just grass, but after 30 years of caring for this whenua, it now has mature trees, orchards, and organic gardens. Life here is peaceful and quiet, perfect for enjoying nature. I am part of the local Honeymoon Valley Landcare Group, protecting our native forest, birds, lizards, and insects. We trap predators and remove invasive weeds. You can help with Landcare work and organic/permaculture gardening: vegetables, fruit trees, chickens, mowing, brush-cutting, compost-making, maintenance and fixing things (basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, chopping firewood. I bake bread. I make apple cider vinegar, bottle fruit, jam, chutney, sauerkraut, and collect seeds. The current to-do list includes building a roof in front of the chicken coop and an...

Hi! We are Steve and Johanna, a couple who decided to buy a property with magical views and a shearing shed on the top of a mountain. This venue is very exposed and not for the faint-hearted in wild weather! But when the sun shines it's truly paradise. We converted the shearing shed into a home and have now been here 28 months. We have a small shed next to the house which contains a sleeping "capsule", complete with double bed, lights, mirror, clothes hanging space etc. We have installed a toilet with handbasin behind the garage which serves as a wee bathroom for visitors. There is always a project on the go and weeding and planting to do as well...send us a message or give us a call. If you like to explore, there are plenty of slopes to wander over, plus some beautiful NZ bush. We have 2 energetic Foxy/ Jack Russell puppies who roam and play and love attention. We love the interactions with our HelpX guests and the variety of people we host is stimulating and satisfying. Come enjoy...

We've lived overseas for many years, including time in South America, Asia and the Middle East, and returned 15 years ago to start our 'off grid adventure'. Having 'internationalized' it's been time to put some roots down (literally) in a sustainable, creative and co-evolutionary way. These days we're a family of four (kids aged 13 and 10) with 3 dogs/chickens/guinea pigs. We speak some Spanish and a little Japanese and would receive foreigners eagerly (also fellow NZers of course). We're one hour's drive from the nearest towns (Kaitaia and Kerikeri) although a small organic co-op is twenty-five minutes away. Neighbours include a Bee-Keeper and his family, artists, potters and homesteaders, some of whom are open to receiving helpers who may wish to spend more time in the area. People wishing to learn about setting up off-grid so that they can do so themselves would be able to pick up valuable skills at our place. Helpers stay in either a fifteen by eight foot caravan with solar power...

Hello helpers! We are an ex farming couple (retired) now living on a ten acre lifestyle block on the slopes of Mt Pirongia, with views over the Waikato basin. Some acreage is planted in timber trees with the balance being garden and orchard. We have our own beehives on the property. Although not always possible, we attempt to be as sustainable and organic as possible. A small glasshouse enables us to grow most of our vegetables from seed throughout most of the year. Activities include seasonal maintenance of the property, including gardening/weeding, planting, pruning, firewood, as well as general work around or inside the home. We have been hosting for a good number of years and find that we are greatly appreciating the extra help especially as we are aging! We have no animals except a few hens. All meals are provided although it is nice if the preparation and cooking is shared :) Our own children have all left home and now have their own families. You will have your own roo...

We love having helpx, please read our reviews. At the moment we are looking for two people who have practical experience with weeding and gardening, shifting firewood and general tidying up. We are also looking for someone with building and practical experience with building or fencing, building steps, planting/gardening and who enjoy physical, mostly outdoor work. Our jobs require practical experience, or willingness to learn - gardening, cleaning, spraying, weed-eating, washing the house, windows etc. We don't currently have airbnb guests so you would get to stay in the luxury airbnb unless we get a booking, then you would either sleep in a sofa bed in the cabin or if you prefer your van and just use our shared spaces. We love hosting travelers and enjoy also getting jobs done on our list. With having 10 acres to care for, there is always something to do. Ideally you would have a vehicle as we do live rurally. We will give you food and accommodation in exchange for 4 hours...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start mid-November and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only.

Do you love nature? what about off grid living? How about great food and great company? How about learning some new skills? We need your help with our dream. We have built an earthship (with lots of help already) and want to share in this type of building design. We are located in a gorgeous mountain/ bush setting, totally off grid. No experience necessary, just your creative loving hands. Though, if you are skilled in carpentry, construction and earth dwellings then we could use your expertise.

We have a comfortable 4 bedroom house and will provide all meals and accommodation in exchange for help with a variety of tasks, a bit of gardening, house work, cooking and general light farm duties. In winter we usually spend time checking and fixing the fences, collecting firewood, controlling weeds, as well as maintaining the vegetable garden and new orchard. Happy for people who love animals and outside work to contact us. Also looking for some farm and house work help too. We try to grow everything that we eat so we have an extensive veggie garden and orchard if you like working in nature! If you like soccer (...

We are seeking help to rebuild and restore our beloved family farm which was abandoned for 6 years due to the 2018 Kilauea lava eruption. Our farm once thrived as an organic fruit and vegetable sanctuary, offering educational classes in sustainability and healthy living.
