The house is isolated and located 1km from the village of Santo Domingo de Silos. It is within the Sabinares de Arlanza Natural Park in the province of Burgos. The exchange of accommodation for work hours involves carrying out various country house tasks, such as clearing brush, sanding wooden windows, cleaning a path, and similar jobs. Our village is 68km from the city of Burgos. The place is ideal for people who enjoy nature, hiking, and cycling. We give priority to people who are used to working on country properties.

One thing I can advise helpers who want to get a placement with any host is to have at least one PICTURE of YOURSELF. Just as you like to "see" who and where you are coming, hosts like to see who they are opening their home to. It's going into Summer now, so we need lots of outdoor help getting the property and garden cleaned up after such a long and hard winter. We live on ten acres in the Noosa hinterland on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Our home is 14km from Noosa, 11km from Noosaville; 10km from Coolum and Peregian Beach and Eumundi is 5km away. We live in a Queenslander house and our helpers have their own double room with a private access and their own bathroom. On our property, we have a variety of wildlife, including wallabies and kangaroos that come and go. The best time to see them is late afternoon and early evening. We are in a heavily wooded area and the birds are wonderful. We also have a big swimming pool which you are free to use anytime.
