Our home is 14km from Noosa, 11km from Noosaville; 10km from Coolum and Peregian Beach and Eumundi is 5km away. You can often see deer, raccoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the river’s pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. As well, our neighborhood is the access point to many scenic nature hiking, walking and biking trails. We live on a sheep farm located at the Head Waters of the Rakaia River in mid Canterbury. We are 55 minutes drive from Methven which is situated one hour West of Christchurch.Stunning scenery and plenty of nature walks surround us. We have three sons who have all left home. We offer gardening work and house cleaning. Separate acommodation with own bathroom and kitchen. Self catering with some shared meals. All food included. Wi-fi available.
