Pohangina Valley is N.Z bush land at its best! Combine that with being only 30 mins drive from Feilding or Palmerston North (cinemas, theatres, restaurants, pubs etc. etc.) or a couple of hours drive to Napier, 2.5 hours to N.Z capital, Wellington. At one time, our land was used for cattle and bee keeping. These days we just have 2 delightful donkeys & 1 cheeky chicken! We also have some mahi (work) still to do before we can put our home up for sale and move onto the next chapter of our lives! We've already achieved so much, weekend after weekend, but to speed this up (& to stop our backs from breaking!) we're hoping to find some helpers! We recently got married & we're now wanting to focus on sorting the whare (house) etc. ASAP! If you're handy with a hammer, perfect with a paintbrush and/or cool with clearing clutter, this is the place for you! We'll ensure that hot, tasty kai (food) awaits you for dinner & a snack (sandwich etc.) for lunch. Plus we're always open to atleast attemp...

We are located in the heart of Malaga, one of Europe's most exciting and diverse cities. With its vibrant cultural scene, world-class museums, historic landmarks, countless cafés, parks, and excellent public transport. I would kindly ask you to help with painting, fencing, gardening, sweeping leaves, cleaning and maintaining the house, as well as feeding and caring for the animals. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time. You will have your own private room, and I will provide breakfast and one warm meal each day. If you enjoy cooking in a holistic and nutritious way, you are more than welcome to do so. I am always happy to share my knowledge about healthy food and learn from others as well. I am not just looking for someone to help with daily tasks—I would like to offer a meaningful cultural exchange and create a positive experience together. If you are interested in meditation, mindfulness, personal growth, or self-discovery, this could be the right place for you. ...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

We are a 4-star boutique resort near the quiet white sands of Bai Sao in southern Phu Quoc, and we are looking for 4-5 volunteers a month for our upcoming summer season. In June and July, we need simple maintenance volunteers willing to help with general upkeep. In July and August, our focus shifts entirely to our summer English camp, where we need enthusiastic volunteer teachers to run group classes for kids and lead conversational English sessions for our staff. While you will be living on-site at a 4-star resort with access to our pool, gym, and spa, this is a real-world, active hotel with high standards. We are looking for adaptable, community-minded people who show up ready to be useful, dress appropriately in guest areas, and treat the space with care. Volunteers have a coordinator, a schedule, and clear expectations. But we're also on a tropical island, and that shows. The day-to-day is relaxed, the team is warm, and nobody's watching over your shoulder. Your main point of co...

⭐️ About our project⭐️ We are a small community school located in Tnol Trong Village, just 13km away from Siem Reap, Cambodia. The school is a registered non-profit NGO, founded in February 2013 by my lovely family. Cambodia is seeing a strong growth in the tourism industry, which will provide an increasing number of employment opportunities in the future, especially for the children around the Siem Reap area and for a career in tourism, English is essential. That’s why our school has one clear goal: to give children from disadvantaged backgrounds free access to English and Chinese education, helping them gain a real chance to access future job opportunities. Our school currently offers FREE English lessons to nearly 180 children from the Bakong community. Many of the local families struggle with basic needs like food, water and health related costs, let alone getting the kids to attend class, afford mandatory school fees and uniforms. Education is often their only real chance to b...

(La description en français se trouve plus bas !) We are a small Buddhist community living in the forest close to Sainte-Julienne, Quebec. We have an organic fruit tree nursery, along with many other projects on our land: several fruit orchards, chickens and bees, growing our own vegetables and herbs and trying to be independent in many ways. The six people who are staying are: Ajan, Eric, Veronique, Elisabeth, Natalie and Camille. Each of us have arrived here one by one, at first just interested in helping out in the place, and then as we found that this lifestyle was for us, deciding to stay for longer. For part of the year we also have a couple of employees staying with us. There is also a wonderful dog named Dali. Our organic nursery and garden occupies a land of 9 hectares, surrounded by forest. As well as the main land of the nursery, we have another smaller land where a few of us live. This is, in fact, where the community started to grow from very small beginnings in the ear...

We would like to hear from you if you are travelling through Central Otago and want to experience a stay well away from the tourist towns. On the 45th Parallel, at the base of the Dunstan Mountains is the remains of a tiny town from the gold rush days. Just a few properties remain, and help needed with a range of restoration jobs - mainly painting and mud brick repair. Also, so many tasks associated with running rural properties including animal care and lots of great dogs to walk in the most fabulous countryside. Pippa is the primary host. Having hosted over 1000 volunteers successfully, through various platforms at our previous property (Solve Sanctuary), I know how to make sure that people get matched to tasks they are keen to engage with and that suits the level of challenge you want. I love to welcome travelers to join in our projects and value the variety of skills and enthusiasm you bring. We have moved here to enjoy the very simple life, big skies, high country, ultra fresh a...

INTRODUCTION This is NOT a hostel, but a personal project aimed to become an educational & cultural spot in the neighborhood. It means, you will NOT work following a set of rules to make profits for a bussiness, but to participate with ideas/creativity/emotions/action to develop a social-aimed venture. Please, before introducing yourself, which is very nice, ask me if the days you apply are available to welcome you. Applications are accepted in order of arrival and mutual agreement :) BASIC BENEFITS - Wide garden, bedroom, living room, little kitchen. They all are simple. Any area is shared. - Breakfast will be provided by the host the work days. However, the lunch and dinner can be cooked in the kitchen by the guest/volunteer/friend. I am flexible to talk about these and other clauses. - You handle to organize your work hours/days. ADDITIONAL BENEFITS - Welcome cocktail or typical Peruvian meal. - Detailed advice on transport or interesting spots in the area or the country (I've...

Kia ora, we extend a warm invitation to host a physically strong, fit and capable couple for approximatelly a week in September/early October. Our home is nestled in semi-rural Paremoremo, a mere 10-minute drive from central Albany on Auckland’s North Shore. This area is full of serene natural beauty, enveloped by lush vegetation, and great views of the upper harbour. We are lucky to have an abundance of native birdlife which we marvel at every day. Paremoremo is only about 20 minutes drive away from beautiful white-sand East Coast beaches, which are good for swimming and also sometimes have great surf. Additionally are within an hour's reach of the rugged Waitakere bush ranges and the distinctive black-sand beaches of the West Coast, which offer regular awesome opportunities for surfing and day treks. We are both around 60 so we are slowing down and need help but still very young at heart! Russell has a full-time role as a Project Manager and is keen to help you get started on prop...

Peaceful Off-Grid Living Near Abel Tasman National Park I live on a beautiful off-grid property in Marahau, just 2 km from the entrance to Abel Tasman National Park. Surrounded by native bush, birdsong, fruit trees and gardens, it is a peaceful place that suits people who enjoy nature, simplicity and a slower pace of life. I work as an acupuncturist and also teach Qigong. I value a grounded, practical way of living and appreciate the peace and beauty of this place. The accommodation is separate from the main house, allowing a good level of independence and privacy. We may occasionally share a meal or a chat if it feels natural, but there is no expectation around this. Marahau is very quiet during the winter months and is a wonderful time to enjoy the national park without the crowds of summer. There are great opportunities for walking, kayaking, swimming and exploring the coastline. The Help I am looking for practical, capable people who enjoy working outdoors and are comfortable...

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

Need helpers NOW in beautiful, sunny Marlborough! In return for 4 hours help a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house. My sunny home sits atop a hill from which you will have a magnificent view of the township of Blenheim to Cook Strait and the hills of the North Island beyond. Of course if you would prefer to work a full day in order to have a day off in which you could explore the nearby Marlborough Sounds, cycle the wine trails, or walk or climb on any of the formed tracks in this area, that would be just fine. My 40 ha property is a sheep/beef farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is help with this work I require.. Therefore most of the work is outdoor, constantly varied, not difficult, with some indoors work on occ...

We are a family of five living a self reliant lifestyle, on a small isolated block. We produce our own food, including goat's yoghurt & cheese, wild or raised meats, eggs, fruit and veggies from our established gardens. We have no income from our property as we are always wanting to become more self-sufficient, so guests must be self motivated and hard working, and be able to contribute skills. We do not allow the use of chemicals (shampoo, sunscreen deodorants etc...) as our grey-water goes directly onto the food gardens, but we do supply our own home made organic soaps and creams. Our aim is to create a co-operative living space, so opportunities arise for short and long term or permanent stay. We have three children who we homeschool using natural learning methods. Travellers with children are very welcome. Please visit our website via link below. We are randomly online and prefer telephone contact to make arrangements.

We are looking for a couple to help us look after puppies and help maintain our house and farm in exchange for food and accommodation. Work would be mainly gardening, animal care, light building and painting. Would be lovely to have some extra hands to keep on top of things over the summer. Plenty to see around our area and a great place to stay for a while. Close to some lovely cascades and not too far from Noosa Beach. We have been Helpers ourselves, so we have experience of what it is like to be the helper.

Need helpers NOW in beautiful, sunny Marlborough! In return for 4 hours help a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house.
