We are looking for helpers from right now and have space for one or two people. We have three small cabins, two with double beds and one with a single bed so room for up to five helpers normally but only room for two at the moment as we have another couple staying. I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. We're Manon, Alessandro and Brioche (I'm a dog) a little young family passionate about nature, travelling, independence, regenerative practices, agriculture, farming, gardening, trekking and life. After almost 10 years of working and travelling overseas we felt the the needs to set roots and to transform our dream in to a reality. We bought an old farm stable in ruins (dry stone building) inside a very small village and a few hectares of old chestnuts forest next to it. On one side we want to restore the old building using eco techniques, as much as we can, to transform it in to our house and on the other side we are developing a syntropic garden, a little orchard based on agroforestry systems principles that will also be applied to some parts of the chestnuts forest. We're located in South Ardèche, near the town of Joyeuse. The place is famous for its rivers, canyons and forests with plenty of hiking and biking trails, bathing spots, canyoning, rafting, climbing spots, old small vil...

Searching for a few helping hands with renovation of a charming 200-year-old farmhouse in the rolling hills of Haspengouw (Belgium) Restoring a traditional timber-framed farmhouse, with clay plaster walls typical of this region, located in a quiet village surrounded by fruit orchards and scenic cycling and hiking routes. The oldest parts of the house are around 200 years old. Looking enthusiastic people or small family to lend a hand with various renovation tasks, for a temporaly period in july or August— about max 4 to 6 hours during weekdays (we will be ready every day by 4pm at the latest), free weekend included. The tasks include working to finish drywall, clay-painting restoring the old clay half-timbering of the farm, and gardening ;-). A strong pair of hands, enthousiasm and a basic understanding of renovation are very helpful. Insure yourself, because HelpX doesn't offer this. A combination of personal accident insurance and family insurance is the best protection when stay...

Kia ora, travellers! Haere mai - welcome to my whare (home) in beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and insects. We built this eco-earth house using local clay from right under our feet. This land used to be just grass, but after 30 years of caring for this whenua, it now has mature trees, orchards, and organic gardens. Life here is peaceful and quiet, perfect for enjoying nature I am part of the local Landcare group, helping protect our native forest, birds, lizards, and insects. We trap predators and remove invasive weeds. You could help with organic/permaculture gardening: vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit trees, chickens, mowing, brush-cutting, compost-making, maintenance and fixing things (basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, chopping firewood. I bake bread. I make apple cider vinegar, bottle fruit, jam, chutney, sauerkraut, and collect seeds. The current to-do list includes building a roof in front of the chicken coop and another in front...

Looking for an adventure? Then come to my house in West Dawson City! I have been hosting help-xers for the past 10 years and trying to ensure they have an awesome time while in Dawson. FYI, we live off grid in West Dawson City. That means you have to take a ferry each day you want to come to Dawson City proper. Living off grid means I haul my own water and live 4 km from town and have bikes, canoe, and you have use of a truck! We love to camp and have taken help-xers to hike in Tombstone Park and visit the historic town of 40 Mile. I am easy going, humorous and busy as i work full time. I have a goal to be the best host ever! Check out helpers, Ulysses and Chloe's review as well as several others. And I'm not sure what I can say about Christoph and Lasse from Germany who stayed during most of the 2020 summer! Das ist gut! Hopefully you will become family as you fit in around the cabin and it would help if you like soccer as we are a soccer family! (I mean what other sport is t...

Then to help paint the new ceiling (Marcus can patiently teach you how to be an excellent painter). Minimum age: 25, with good English. Accommodation: Excellent accommodation - immaculate Airbnb standard room and house. Your own private double bedroom in a spacious home with a lovely garden. Hello, We are James and Isabel and we live in the tranquil, beautiful town of Monleras, in the province of Salamanca. We own a 6 hectare property just outside of town, called the "espacio natural de las grillas" where we practice permaculture techniques and host various activities and retreats involving yoga, meditation, personal growth, and silence. We have a large yurt, an outdoor kitchen, and an outhouse with running water and a hot-water shower, as well as a few other structures, and tents to stay in. There is also a room available in our house in town. There are always many projects to work on at the farm: construction with wood and stone, gardening, tree planting, pruning, and care, (and soon a henhouse!). There is a lake nearby for swimming and we have bicycles and a kayak available too. Isabel is a yoga instructor, and James works online in the afternoons. Besides yoga and meditation, we enjoy listening to and playing music, dancing, going on hikes, and just the peaceful...

After an intense house renovation, we are now entering the final phase, focusing on cleaning and refreshing the house. From APRIL (for about one month), we are looking for help with PAINTING work inside and outside, as well as some light gardening tasks such as weeding. This period is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and likes to see visible results at the end of the day. From JUNE onwards, as the weather becomes warmer, the help will mainly consist of daily HOUSEKEEPING tasks (cleaning, ironing), with occasionally some light gardening. We’ve found that this experience works best for people who enjoy staying active and contributing in a practical way to daily life. We truly appreciate volunteers who bring positive energy, a hands-on mindset, and a genuine willingness to help. We are a Belgian family who has been living in France for over 20 years.

Join Our Home in Walnut Creek: A Unique Opportunity for Connection and Support Hello! My name is Bruce, and I’m looking for a reliable, friendly person to assist me with everyday life while also forming a meaningful connection. About Me and Our Home I broke my neck at 18, resulting in lifelong use of a wheelchair. Despite this, I pursued multiple degrees and have built a fulfilling life with my wife, Kim. We live in a cozy three-bedroom home in Walnut Creek, just 28 miles east of San Francisco. Our household includes our service dog, Bennett, a future service dog in training (Dorothy, our third), and two cats, Edna and Scarlett. Your Role & Contribution While Kim is my full-time caregiver, I need help with tasks that offset my paralysis, including: - Household Tasks – Light cleaning, keeping the kitchen tidy, and helping with laundry. - Personal Assistance – Bringing me food, water, and other necessities I can’t manage on my own. - Driving & Companionship – Taking...

We have many projects on the go and we can offer a wide range of experiences, from indoors decorating to full on gardening in barren spaces or in a veggie garden. I like to scythe, and am happy to teach this ancient skill. We run a bike shop in a narrow old red brick building and are steadily refurbishing the building while keeping the shop open. We are working to conservation standard, using lime mortar and traditional methods. Our shop is around 150 years old and we want to preserve its character as much as possible. We can teach how to slake hot-lime and mix for different applications. We hope to open a cafe-bar at some point. At home we are working towards being off-grid: digging a well and getting a pump working, increasing solar hot water capacity and installing photo-voltaic panels. We have a large garden and are planting trees for food and wildlife. We enjoy life: working hard, meeting new people and cycling around the South West, especially if it involves a good Somerset pu...

We are a gay couple who run a rural retreat-style guesthouse about 20 minutes drive inland from Torre Del Mar / Velez-Málaga in the south of Spain. In summer (late May to mid October) we take long-term volunteer "interns" to help with the general running of the guesthouse. We're looking for friendly, flexible Helpers who'll become part of the "family / home team" willing to just pitch in as necessary to get things done. Work includes cleaning, tidying the pool area and grounds, helping with guests, and serving meals. [ In winter and spring we sometimes offer shorter HelpX placements to help prepare the grounds and guest studios for our summer season. Work includes clearing undergrowth, collecting / cutting firewood, gardening, rebuilding paths and walls, and cleaning and decorating inside and out. ] We offer a high standard of food and accommodation (your own bedroom in the owners' apartment) in return for about 5/6 hours a day x 5/6 days a week of enthusiastic and energetic help. We have some space starting July 25,2026 If you like mountains, wildlife and exercise and you are interested in a true country experience this is the place to be. We would welcome any help and would love people to share their organic knowledge with us. No experience is necessary just enthusiasm and a love of the outdoors. Throughout the year we have a wide variety of tasks to do. In April our few cows are calving and we often complete some small building projects and fix fences on the pastures In May we may be doing field work the fields and we also plant the vegetable garden in May and June. In July we are haying, building and fixing fences, gardening, hand pulling invasive weed species, harvesting garlic. There are tasks for all skill levels and strengths so don't be afraid to join us. We grow organic table grapes, a few fruit trees, chickens and a few pigs. This is a real farm experience, mostly working in the vineyard, with some fun too. There is biking to town, swimming in the ocean or our lake, fishing, basketball, volleyball, hiking, nature walks, beach strolling and look for fossils at Blue Beach, camp fires , rope swing in our little lake, take in the fantastic views, sunsets, star gazing, internet, phone and go to nearby towns such as Wolfville and Hantsport as well as the rest of the Annapolis Valley with the local bus. The accommodations and kitchen are separate for helpers cooking with an abundance of food. This is a more independent farm stay. Hope you can make it here.

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

We have an organic farm at Oldcastle where we host Wwoofers too. There we have lots of different roles from house keeping to vegetable gardening, foraging, admin, cooking, animal husbandry, sewing carpentry building work etc. Tasks vary and very much depend on ability and skill sets At our location in Dunshauglin we are only looking for help with housework cleaning and childcare and sometimes gardening. We ask for 5 hours 5 days a week. Accommodation in Dunshauglin is in a comfortable apartment beside our home while in Oldcastle it’s in mobile homes. I have started to use Helpx to supplement Wwoofing as we try to have a greater mix of volunteers. Here I’m looking for candidates who have (ideally)been out in the world a while, who are taking a break or are looking for a change. We have had great success with people on career breaks in the past - as an example. Hello people, I live with my son in a house I bought 9 years ago. My home needs renovation - build up transformation. We create as much as possible with recycled and eco materials. There is a lot of gardenwork (veggies and construction) on sunny days and inside work on rainy days, already seeing nice results which gives hope. Financial shortage does not stop me from continuing slow steps. Our garden mates are Ayo and Mishmoush, the cats and our chicken Tricksy with 3 new friends, hedgehog visits and frogs, water salamanders in the pond :-). My little paradise garden I dream to be wonderous chilly and self-sufficient as possible - permaculture - foodforestwise. The house I'd like to make a zen-place for my family, friends and soul people who like to share music, high vibrations, art, healing, creation ... I want it to ray positive vibes with cosy wandering corners and no borders. You're welcome :-) There are a lot of different doing-things. We start with easy things to get to k...

Kia ora, travellers! Haere mai - welcome to my whare (home) in beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and insects. We built this eco-earth house using local clay from right under our feet. Life here is peaceful and quiet, perfect for enjoying nature I am part of the local Landcare group, helping protect our native forest, birds, lizards, and insects. You could help with organic/permaculture gardening: vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit trees, chickens, mowing, brush-cutting, compost-making, maintenance and fixing things (basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, chopping firewood. I bake bread. I make apple cider vinegar, bottle fruit, jam, chutney, sauerkraut, and collect seeds.

In our late fifties, we speak French, Dutch, English, and a bit of Spanish. Our home is located in the beautiful r...

Cheers Al

The house I'd like to make a zen-place for my family, friends and soul people who like to share music, high vibrations, art, healing, creation ...
