Over the next month: seeking dog sitter! Also: We're always looking for assistance in property maintenance in the fields and on our private bike park. We also quite often are on the lookout for those who have experience in web content and photo and video editing to help update our websites. Please read!! 😀 We have a peaceful, rural lifestyle block with a number of heritage chickens and a cat and dog. Our residence is a scenic 20-minute drive out of Nelson. For this reason, having your own transport is ideal (but not a deal breaker!). We offer rooms and/or studio accommodation and food / meals to hard-working folks happy to help out with various projects around the property, including gardening, landscaping, building and improving our mountain bike and jump track, mowing, weed whacking, eliminating weeds, some house cleaning, cutting fire wood, and other non-technical chores. The majority of our tasks suit physically fit individuals who enjoy working outdoors. Weekly required hou...

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

We are a couple in our 60s who fatten grass-fed cattle and also have a Valais Blacknose sheep stud. Help is required at different times of the year with simple fence repairs, weed spraying (we are not an organic farm), stock work and a host of other little jobs that keep cropping up. Accommodation is a room in the house with a double bed so we are able to take a couple) and shared meals with us. Helping hours will be very negotiable and will be in exchange for meals and accommodation. We live in close proximity to the Kahurangi and Abel Tasman National parks which have international tourist fame. If you like swimming, kayaking, or bush walking, together with many other activities, these will provide you with plenty to do on days off. We would prefer someone who has some confidence with farm animals and has had experience with a quad bike. Otherwise everything else is pretty simple and you can work alongside us. We enjoy meeting new people so any enquiries are very welcome. Sally &...

Kia ora, we are friendly vegetarian family of 4 who are very lucky to live in Ōtautahi Christchurch, on the ancestral lands of Ngāi Tūāhuriri of Ngāi Tahu. We welcome people to enjoy our home and company, and to help us run our household, tend to our kids and develop a productive urban garden. Our home is busy and our lives are full but we love sharing them. We require a high level of flexibility from our helpers, because our schedule varies and is changeable due to the kids. In turn, we are also very flexible, so if you have an unpredictable schedule because you are buying or selling a van etc, that’s fine! Our work is never urgent. We live on cycle routes (we can provide bikes and helmets) to both beaches (Sumner and New Brighton), near a lovely public pool, climbing gym, large park, community gardens X 3, the red zone/river and good local cafes. We are close to both the hills and town, and on good bus routes. We have free on-street parking for your vehicle outside our house. Our...

I live in South Hobart, approximately 3km from the CBD. I currently need assistance with building work, digging, and a range of gardening and landscaping work. Please note I will require someone who is relatively strong and can cope with physical work - male or female, and has some experience in gardening and/or building work. Mature and experienced helpers, over age 26, are preferred. In exchange for 4 hours of work a day, you will have your own (single) room with a share bathroom, and all food provided. The house is very comfortable. Local shops are in walking distance and it's a 40 minute walk into town, or there's a bus stop 20 metres from the house. It is preferred if helpers stay for at least a week, are non-smokers and happy to eat vegetarian food,

Update, possible accommodation available for kiwifruit staff. My caravan is available, not fancy but clean & waterproof. I'm a beekeeper in need of assistance, either with the bees directly or not. I'm located 16km South of Te Puke on a property that has a back boundary of native forest. I'm usually able to host people at any time of year, but am busiest in the spring. I currently have building projects happening, as well as lots of painting, waxing new bee frames, and also hands on beekeeping for anyone who is keen. I also keep sheep and cattle on the property here, and hunt deer and pigs in the forest. These grass and forest fed animals form a large part of the menu here, so vegetarians probably won`t be happy with the diet. I cater to lots of herbivores and they all have hooves or paws. The accommodation is a spare room in the house. The house is a late 1800s villa in need of replacement, but it keeps the weather out and I find it comfortable. Housework isn't high on my priority ...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

After 16 years, and hosting almost 100 HelpXers, at our property in Larnook, in the Northern Rivers region, Steve and I have moved to a new place in Tenterfield, at the northern end of the New England Tableland. All of our reviews up until September 2024, are related to our previous place. We are now ready to accept HelpXers at our new place. Steve and I are a gay couple and we offer a high quality experience (as you can see from our reviews) and so we expect our Helpers to pitch in and help. The more you put into your time here at Tenterfield, the more you will get out of it. We have lots of small work jobs at present including lots of weeding and gardening, mowing, establishing herb and vege gardens, pruning and cutting back and some other work. Our property is situated a few kilometers west of the town of Tenterfield, in a quiet, rural area. We usually expect around 4 hours per day of work in exchange for all meals, your own room, access to internet (for checking emails, looki...

Summer is here.. operation 'Garden Restoration' is back on but what we’d really love a little skilled/semi-skilled carpentry work; door framing, simple desks.. nothing fancy just plywood stuff to help finish off an office space created in an attic space. Based on the outskirts of Dunedin but still only 7 minutes from the centre by car (there's a bus stop five minutes down the road). Suburban yet peaceful. We would happily host for a week and have done so a number of times this year (2025). Accommodation is a very nice self-contained studio flat beneath our home suitable for a couple or singleton. Will provide DIY breakfast + lunch and dinner with the family. Come say hello. Andrew + Erin + Frida

Im trying to realize my dream, devoted to permaculture and natural architecture on the 25 decare land we purchased in 2021, where there are pine forests and natural water resources, and where natural life is happily alive. My biggest dream is for my daughter and other children to grow up together in a healthy soil, poison-free tables, on a farm full of happy animals, in a community where our friends and guests contribute. We continue to take slow but beautiful steps on the path we set out with this dream, with the efforts of our friends and volunteers who contribute to us. I will be glad to see you among us I have camping tent, large tent, rv caravan, geodesic dome hause for our volunteers and guests to stay. You can also stay here with your own tents and caravans. We have a common area for shower and toilet. We can cook and eat our meals together during the day, and we will also respect your preferences. Offering comfortable accommodation in a natural environment in exchange for general help with mainly outdoor projects - tell us your skills and interests and we'll probably have a project to match! Looking for help year round, happy to offer one to two weeks at a time with longer stays possible after we've got to know each other a little. Your own vehicle is essential as we do not have any public transport routes available. Us: We are a relaxed couple who enjoy the quiet life - Al is retired and spends most days pottering - always plenty of jobs around the place; and Vicki works 3 days/week from home, when she's away from her desk you'll most likely find her in the veggie garden or the kitchen. We enjoy lots of "homesteading" activities including breadmaking and preserving, herbal medicine, soap making and general crafts. Al is trying to learn the didgeridoo and hoping to have more time for painting and drawing and Vicki enjoys travel and garden planning and a good book. We bot...

Our volunteer program need help now. We run an off the grid and entirely self-sufficient yoga center nestled on a mountain in Spain. It is beautiful here, with no light or air pollution you can experience the peace of the mountain and enjoy the starry night sky. We have our own water supply, solar power and bio waste system, if you want to learn more about off the grid living then this is the place for you. We are remote off the grid mountain living and therefore we ask that volunteers are interested in simple living. Living on the mountain requires team-work and collaboration. Volunteers must be able to support one and another and work well together to create a happy and simple mountain home. You don't need previous experience, although, living off the grid on a mountain requires a certain amount of physical work. The work will be mainly gardening, repair work to our earthbag dome and general help. All jobs will be explained and we are always looking for the volunteers input a...

Welcome to TOLSTOY FARM & EXPERIENCE CENTRE Hi Friends, I am Lincy, born in Kerala, studied Engineering and worked in different parts of the world. We travel a lot. I own a Farm in a small village named Panagattiri near Kollengode in Kerala. We follow natural farming methods. Our farm (around 6 acres/ 2.5 hectares) consists of mainly different varieties of mango trees (we have around 20 types of mangoes) and we get sweetest mangoes in the season. The other crops are coconuts, paddy, jackfruit, gooseberry, cashew nut etc. We also own a satellite farm 4km away from this farm which has paddy fields and mango trees. The farm is located in a scenic village (Kollengode, Palakkad) in Kerala, India. We are looking for helpers who can make this farm more beautiful and sustainable! This is an ideal place for you to reconnect with nature. Farm work depends on the season, but there is always something meaningful to do. Volunteers will need to fly into the South Indian city of Cochin (or Coimbat...

Seven years ago, Tim and I moved to our little farm, and we've been busy ever since; growing a garden, planting trees, and learning how to care for the land. We joined Landcare to better understand the local trees and wildlife, especially the ones that need a bit of extra protection. Tim is a retired engineer and has a knack for designing and building, so he’s been having a great time working on the infrastructure around the property. As for me, I’m a creative arts teacher and public health practitioner. I still teach both online and on campus at an Australian university, balancing my work with farm life. One of my biggest passions here is my rose garden with 400 fragrant bushes, and I'm dreaming of making rose water and rose oil one day. We’ve also got a thriving organic fruit and veggie garden, with plenty of fruit trees and a mix of seasonal vegetables. Our dam is well stocked with yabbies, and we’re just a short stroll from the Murray River, perfect for a bit of fishing. I lo...

Tired of the hostel life? Ready for an authentic Kiwi experience? Come live with us and explore the Bay of Islands! We're looking for a friendly backpacker to join our home in Kerikeri starting 28th December 2025. We'd love for you to stay a minimum of 2 weeks, but longer is even better! A Typical Day: Wake up in your own private room. Help us out for a few hours in the morning with a mix of gardening, planting, and some general DIY projects. You'lll work by yourself mostly but I will help when need be, and if it's raining, we'll move indoors for something else. You'll have plenty of days off to relax and explore the area. The Perks: We'll provide a comfortable place to stay, delicious meals (a light breakfast and home-cooked dinners!), and all the comforts you need. Think a private room with a comfy bed, your own nearby bathroom, and lightning-fast Wi-Fi for streaming or chatting with family. Your Home Base: Our place is set in a quiet, country-style location, but you're only a 20-...

Hi everyone. My name's Claud I'm a beekeeper and a horse trainer I live on a small island south of Greece called Kythira. The island is full of beautiful beaches and green small forests. I owe nearly 100 beehives and I need help maintaining the equipment and taking care of them. I also help a friend ride and train and take care of his horses. I'm constantly busy and almost always not at home. Ideally I would need help for a few hours a day. I have a car we can share if you have a driving licence. So you can explore around. Or I can be your guide in my free time.

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to sit /relax , meditate or just ponder the world ....

Welcome! Your choice: You can exchange two hours help a day for the room only, or you can work for 4 hours a day and we provide meals. We have a private spot close to town here, and are two friendly people, a little dog, and some chickens. Our quiet and green home is in easy and pleasant walking distance of Nelson city centre. It's like being in the country. There is also a bus just steps away, if you want to get into town quickly. This is a good mix - looking after trees, garden, house and each other; making music; preserving fruit, etc We - meaning us two, Ian and Eva - love WWOOFers who enjoy what we are doing, and want to be friendly and part of the family. Eva is a Homoeopath, Ian is an Engineer, we both love to sing, eat, and share good food, and have fun with friendly woofers. The house is surrounded by green hills, with some of Nelson's best bike tracks and walks right next to us. We love cooking and sharing meals. We can talk with you in English, French or German No Smo...

Support/help us with sustainable education development for our children's future in Sanawari village. We believe that a child’s future success and advancement in life is greatly influenced by their early educational experience, as those who have go to school early develop an interest in education more than those who have not participated in early learning education. Learning how to get along in groups, work under teacher supervision, etc. They also receive encouragement to express their feelings and ideas through building, dancing, and drawing, playing, singing and speaking. And thus, at the end of their pre-school years, they have become more competent pupils and will be more advanced in some of their abilities and be ready to master their new environment in primary and secondary education. We are located at Sanawari village, Arusha. We hope that with volunteers support we can save and give hope through education to our children for future and other generation. HELP US We need a v...

After 16 years, and hosting almost 100 HelpXers, at our property in Larnook, in the Northern Rivers region, Steve and I have moved to a new place in Tenterfield, at the northern end of the New England Tableland. The more you put into your time here at Tenterfield, the more you will get out of it. We have lots of small work jobs at present including lots of weeding and gardening, mowing, establishing herb and vege gardens, pruning and cutting back and some other work.

I lo...

DIY, semi-skilled, skilled, and/or gardening/housework. MUST BE HAPPY TO DO GARDENING TASKS. Helpers will need to be confident using a self-propelled mower (not a ride-on), a light weight hedge trimmer, and a strimmer, etc. The work is all physical, (no heavy lifting), and helpxers need to be completely ok with that, as well as happy to work on your own quite a bit. General help for cleaning and gardening, washing vehicles, etc. A can-do attitude is good! We can show you how to do stuff, sometimes do stuff with you...
