Hello, We live 25 km from Picton in the Marlborough Sounds on the seaside. It is just myself and my partner Red in the house and there is a spare outside room and a caravan. We are both artists. Red is a blacksmith and I am a handweaver and painter. The views here are spectacular and it is hard not to waste a lot of time enjoying them. We feed the bellbirds and Tuis on the deck every day and they are very near. Here you are constantly surrounded by native bird song. We are a small organic olive farm, not yet in commercial production and animal refuge. We practice permaculture and the olives are part of a `forest garden` which also includes 200 cork oaks, carob and other trees and shrubs. We also have a vegetable garden and fruit trees .
