This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in ...

CLEANING, COOKING, GARDENING, PLAYING MUSIC, are all things that I appreciate assistance with. Hi, I live in Bundaberg city 5km from the post office, and enjoy having travellers stay here in return for help around the house and yard, gardening, mowing, housekeeping/cleaning, general maintenance, etc. on my 1000 square meter block. If you have special skills tell me or if cooking is your thing then you would be especially welcome. I love all kinds of ethnic food and can be flexible as to work and leisure hours. Please message me via helpx in advance, so that I may read your completed, up to date, detailed profile. Generally, I like to have guests for two or three weeks but longer stays are also possible. Solo or couples are very welcome. Unfortunately I cannot sign for 2nd year visa. Accommodation is in spare bedroom, also includes washing, use of bicycles, and other perks in return for 2 hours per day help. Helpers are to provide or share food costs. My house is a “TV Free Zone”, but...

Hello! We are a young family of four, Chelsy, James, Joey (3) and Ruben (under 1) living in Cairns, far North Queensland. We have both been helpers in the past around the world and are excited to now be hosts in beautiful Cairns. Our house is about 10 minutes drive to Cairns city, in the quiet leafy town of Stratford north of Cairns. The perfect base to explore Cairns and surrounds, and walking distance to cafes, bars and restaurants. We love living in the tropics, outdoor adventures, hiking, camping, nature, and going out for good food and events. We love sharing our local tips and tricks for exploring the region. We both work in the environment sector (Chelsy on maternity leave), and between work, Joey and weekends exploring, we get a bit in over our heads with house work and maintenance. We are looking for help around the house with gardening, cleaning, general maintenance and maybe babysitting. We will provide free accommodation in return for 2 hours help per day. We love far ...

Sorry folks, but we are now fully booked until the beginning of September 2026. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, self defense, jewellery making, or help Tony with his self defense book and video courses, we could be a great match. Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. Hello there! Come join me on an exciting adventure in the beautiful town of Cervo! I'm a seasoned solo backpacker turned host, who has explored over 25 countries and has a wealth of life experiences to share. I love breakfast, sun by the sea, music, playing the guitar, and cooking Italian dishes. We have a spacious terrace that's perfect for grilling, cooking, and enjoying music vibes. We have a variety of projects in the pipeline, including producing different kinds of liquor, painting the fence, taking care of the vertical garden, the chicken house, try to start with the production of our own soap. We also have gardening, general maintenance, painting, cooking, and cleaning tasks that need to be done. For this year I’m looking also for who’s excited about hands-on projects and creativity! ⭐️ About our project⭐️ We are a small community school located in Tnol Trong Village, just 13km away from Siem Reap, Cambodia. The school is a registered non-profit NGO, founded in February 2013 by my lovely family. Cambodia is seeing a strong growth in the tourism industry, which will provide an increasing number of employment opportunities in the future, especially for the children around the Siem Reap area and for a career in tourism, English is essential. That’s why our school has one clear goal: to give children from disadvantaged backgrounds free access to English and Chinese education, helping them gain a real chance to access future job opportunities. Our school currently offers FREE English lessons to nearly 180 children from the Bakong community. Many of the local families struggle with basic needs like food, water and health related costs, let alone getting the kids to attend class, afford mandatory school fees and uniforms. Education is often their only real chance to b...

Hi! We are Steve and Johanna, a couple who decided to buy a property with magical views and a shearing shed on the top of a mountain. This venue is very exposed and not for the faint-hearted in wild weather! But when the sun shines it's truly paradise. We converted the shearing shed into a home and have now been here 28 months. We have a small shed next to the house which contains a sleeping "capsule", complete with double bed, lights, mirror, clothes hanging space etc. We have installed a toilet with handbasin behind the garage which serves as a wee bathroom for visitors. There is always a project on the go and weeding and planting to do as well...send us a message or give us a call. If you like to explore, there are plenty of slopes to wander over, plus some beautiful NZ bush. We have 2 energetic Foxy/ Jack Russell puppies who roam and play and love attention. We love the interactions with our HelpX guests and the variety of people we host is stimulating and satisfying. Come enjoy...

We are a small-scale, organic vegetable farm in Palmer, Alaska. We grow an array of beautiful produce which includes carrots, tomatoes, strawberries, zucchini, brussel sprouts, romanesco, broccoli, potatoes, rhubarb, onions, beets, and many more. All of the vegetables we sell at local farmers markets are grown by us and are free of pesticides, GMOs, and chemicals. We not only believe that people should feel connected to their food, but we also feel that it should be delicious, healthy, and accessible. Work on the farm varies by season. In the Spring we spend our time prepping the field, sewing seeds, growing transplants, cultivating those seeds in the field, weeding, and watering. As we move into summer and fall helpers will have the opportunity to harvest and sell the fruits and vegetables that have been growing the past few months at the local farmers’ markets.

Welcome! Our family owned and operated certified organic livestock farm in North Central British Columbia is excited to have you stay and become a part of everything we have going on. We’ve been operating since 2008, primarily raising Berkshire pigs, Dexter cattle, Katahdin sheep, laying hens, broiler chickens and of course bronze breasted turkeys for thanksgiving and Christmas. On top of that, we’re home to two Labrador retrievers (Ned and Nelly), 3 outdoor cats, 2 guard alpacas and a family of Muscovy ducks. In other words, you will never find yourself not in the company of animals! Aside from livestock, we have recently built a small farm store / café that cooks the meat raised on the farm. We also take pride in creating all recipes from scratch, from the sauces to the buns of the burgers. Currently only operating during the summer months, 3 days per week. It’s been a lot of work, but a great way to get more people out to the farm, eating good food and connecting with the community...

*French version below* Hi y'all Ben and Claudie here! We're a little family (Ben, Claudie, lil' Lilith and the two cats Pirate and Tipanda) living the good life in beautiful Gaspé. We raise rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and goats, we grow a little garden, plus hay for feed. We also have a large forested area on our plot, where we gather fiddleheads in the spring, a variety of mushrooms during the summer, and tons of apples in the fall. We also do some lumbering for various building projects and heating. Additionally, we grow most our vegetables and fruits with friends in a shared commercial greenhouse. Living near the coastline, fishing bass and maquerel is also something we do from July to September. We like getting our hands dirty, we believe in hard work and mutual aid, we like the outdoors, but we were also anxious about what the future holds. Following in the footsteps of countless people before us, we figured growing our own food and limiting our reliance on unsust...

At our off- grid solar, wood and gravity powered homestead you can live very close to Nature and learn by helping, how to grow your own food in the big, fully caged vegie garden/ orchard and some of how to build a bush cabin (it could be a winning strategy in years to come). We are long term, committed advocates, for climate change action and we've lived with Sustainability and Creating a low "Carbon Footprint" in mind, for 40 yrs now, settling here, (inland of Taree / Port Macquarie) from scratch in 1980, on 680 acres of rocky ridge forest on the wild and steep NW edge of the Bulga Plateau, 500m above sea level (a very beautiful but challenging location)! Watch our YouTube video below, about our community and us, made by the very talented helpxer, Louie Ablett. Three of us live here now, myself 74, David 84 and Sue 64, who started as a WWOOFer and has moved here with the help of a voluntary activity agreement through Centrelink for over 55s'. Hi there Traveler We offer a farm stay with great views and good conversation. We chopped down a pine forest and replanted with Manuka about 4 years ago so it’s starting to look really great, and more native birds are about. Established a wetland reserve as well. Also we are developing another small retreat area that needs assistance with tracks and tree management. Some stock work is all so on offer but we will work with you all the time as it’s safer and more fun. cheers and safe travels Geoff and Declan

Seasonally we need assistance with with fencing, firewood cutting, the garden, harrowing, feeding livestock, building and building maintenance and general farm labour. No experience necessary but must have a willing attitude and be comfortable around animals. Someone with Carpentry skills is always helpful. We are located on a small farm 4 km north of Lumby and 30 minutes east of Vernon BC, with sheep, laying chickens, hay and sometimes meat birds. We also have some older horses and a large organic garden. One of us is a carpenter and the other a semi retired biologist. We have lots of birds and generally very few biting flies or mosquitoes . We are also a hummingbird banding station every 2 weeks from late April until the beginning of August. ...

Hi. We are an active couple in our early 50’s with 3 boys who’ve left home to study or work. We recently had 2 travellers reach out through a local group to stay a few days. They told us about this site so here we are. It was lovely to help them with their English & also learn some French. We have a lowset 4 bed, 2 bath home in a culdesac 7km from Cairns CBD & various attractions. There’s access to a fridge & pool table as well. Rod likes to ride his road bike every week, either to the cane farms south, around beaches in the north or up the mountain behind us. We love looking up at it from our back yard, & patios. We work full time but like to get out & about too whenever possible. The room includes queen bed, desk, & own bathroom. We have a couple of living areas, a decent size home/yard & would like to keep it & gardens maintained, even though quite low maintenance already. It’s the tropics & everything grows fast. :) There’s a bus stop 5 mins walk away or a car parking spot if you...

Autonomy for everyone, especially for you and us at mealtime ... Resources are shared according to the availability of the moment. More possibilities if my children are not there, less if I have other guests ... fortuitous ... In the meantime we have no shortage of space in the garden to let you plant your tent or you lend a space... This is the minimum we can guarantee. A cabin is also available on the family sailboat ... Here too, there is work ... The room with double bed of the house is not often free for our helper sometimes the chance does things well, ask what you want, we are in French Polynesia climate is stable all year ;-) We will not ask for more than 2 or 3 hours of help a day in exchange we plan to lodge without food, although fruits from the garden are still part of the tradition of sharing the house... It's up to you to do your shopping and your dish washing and cleaning up after, the load will be in our situation not equitable otherwise.

*Alert* For the upcoming 2026 season Billy & I have made the painful decision NOT to host international Helpers. Due to the current political climate in the U.S. we cannot in good conscience guarantee the safety of International travelers. If you happen to fit that bill, I would consider long and hard about coming to the United States. There are plenty of other countries to visit where you will be safe. Bee well and safe travels...Kate We have a small farm in South Central Idaho, 45 minutes from Sun Valley. Originally, an ornamental tree farm we soon realized that edibles are where it's at in these uncertain times. We are seeking helpers for our growing season between May and early November. We ask for 6 hours of work per day and that any volunteers be over 21 years of age. We provide a travel trailer/caravan with a double bed, kitchen, dining area, and access to our "annex" house with a full bath & washer/dryer. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. Also 6 chicken, so we always have fresh eggs. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown edible garden. We're about to get ducks in addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We like to work with fun and laughter and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out. Be yourself and join the family... We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Please note that there's a minimum of 1 week stay, we do not like to be used as a pit...

This is a 5-acre permaculture and Land for Wildlife property in Jimboomba, South East Queensland, located in a rain-shadow region that receives less rainfall than greater Brisbane. The property is designed and managed using regenerative permaculture principles, with a strong focus on water efficiency, food production and long-term self-sufficiency. Since moving onto the land in 2016, the site has evolved into a diverse, productive landscape with established native vegetation, food forests, perennial growing systems, water-harvesting earthworks, wicking beds, a greywater garden, and a zero-waste nursery and worm farm. Ducks, geese, chickens, pigs and sheep are raised on the property, alongside honeybee hives. On-site harvesting and food preservation are part of the system. Doreen runs this place as a permaculture consulting and education business, offering workshops, one-on-one food-growing coaching and property consultations.

Hello,We are Lorraine & David a mature aged couple looking for honest, motivated, tidy and non-smoking worker/s to help on our 200 acres off grid farm. We are located on the Bulga Plateau, 20 minutes from the village of Elands, surrounded by mountain forests and an abundance of wildlife. The nearest town is Wingham a one-hour drive away. We are startíng a small guest house complex directly on the beach in Engabao, a fishing and surfing town located 15 km from Playas and 1 hour from Guayaquil. The guesthouse consists of furnished 1 and 2 bedroom suites with completely equipped kitchens and hot water. There is a pool and gazebo overlooking the ocean. At present help is mainly needed with construction, painting, landscaping and out door cleaning, while from Dec. to May there may be housekeeping, attending guests, and caring for plants. Helpers work for 4 hours a day with 2 days off midweek and live in one of the suites. They are responsible for preparing their own meals. There's plenty of time for lounging around the pool, enjoying the beach or surfing. We need people who can work without supervision and enjoy nature. We are on a beautiful out of the way beach which generally has tourists only on holidays.

Although we are not vegetarians or other specialty diets we have no problem hosting one. One family member is gluten free.

Due to the current political climate in the U.S. we cannot in good conscience guarantee the safety of International travelers.
