Hi Helpers, We are offering a calm space in Queensberry, surrounded by nature that is a 12 minute drive from Wanaka. We also have casual paid work in our newly opened restaurant, Popina, on the property. www.popina.co.nz The accomodation is in a retro caravan with a double bed and a well setup shed and camp ground facilities. It is a beautiful place to hang out in and enjoy the rural tranquility. We have been growing and planting both native and exotic trees to regenerate the land. We also grow vegetables, saffron and have an orchard and a small plant nursery. We are coming into autumn and are looking for people with experience in gardening to help us with lots of enjoyable late summer tasks. We are located in the Upper Clutha basin surrounded by beautiful mountains, lakes and rivers. We are far enough from urban areas to have clear night skies and be really connected to nature. There is an abundance of bike trails, walks and other Central Otago attractions. The river is close by ...

This is not a tourist spot. It is a quiet village. Hello, I’m Masa. My English is at a beginner level, but I will do my best to communicate with you. This place is not suitable for people who spend all day looking at their smartphones, neglect their tasks, dislike conversations with someone whose English isn't perfect, have a fear of insects, hold discriminatory views, or cannot respect the local culture. I run an organic farm on my own, primarily growing delicious vegetables like tomatoes and producing eggs. I often think about living a rich, fulfilling life and about world peace. The farm is located in a mountainous area surrounded by historic terraced rice fields and beautiful rivers—an ideal environment for nature lovers. The work involves general farming tasks such as harvesting, shipping, and washing vegetables, as well as planting seedlings, weeding, and pruning. I encourage you to participate in various farm activities; the work is simple and safe, and you’ll learn a lot. Wor...

I’m a single mum with shared custody of a wonderful 13 year old daughter, plus a little dog, looking for someone to join us from the end of July and stay for 6-8 weeks (or longer). I am self-employed in an import/export business, and have a large house and garden, the care of which get away from me without assistance. The help needed is mostly maintaining the garden and outside of the property, plus domestic tasks (dishes, cleaning etc) in the house. Someone who’s a bit handy and could undertake a few little fix-it jobs would be an added bonus. I work full-time, and sometimes need assistance to get Abigail to her various activities, so a full driver's license is required. My elderly mum occasionally needs to be driven places as well - she's a fun lady who provides vibrant and lively conversation. Abigail is pretty self-sufficient, and of course is only with me half the time, but she has a wide variety of interests and a zany sense of humour... she is easy to spend time with if you c...

The property is a small Beef cattle farm on the mid-north coast. Located 40 minutes drive from Port Macquarie town and beaches and 20 minutes from Wauchope and the nearest train station. This place is a really good option for someone on their way between Sydney and Brisbane who wants to break the trip for a few weeks. We are a couple with an adult son who is away at University. We have horses, chickens, ducks,3 dogs and cattle. We have a 2nd farm near Kempsey where we run cattle so sometimes we go over there to work as well. My husband and I both work from home although sometimes I have to spend days away doing fieldwork. We would expect between 3-5 hrs work a day, depending on what needs to be done, with 1 day off each week, usually a weekday, a lift into town can be arranged. Accommodation is in our house, and you will eat with the family. I would appreciate sharing the cooking and cleaning. Wi-Fi available, non-smokers only. Homestay in Southern Indiana We are looking for a capable and thoughtful person (or couple) for a long term stay to assist with housekeeping, meal prep, organization, and selling items on FB marketplace & Craigslist. This position is ideal for someone who needs time and space for things like yoga and meditation, writing a book or blog. We are a nonprofit horse rehabilitation center that offers education on equine care. We need hands on to help with projects we are working on to complete as well as facility maintenance. Would love to have some energetic people that want to make a difference in horses lives here. It’s about helping these animals go from neglect to finding a forever home or live their lives in Sanctuary. You don't have to have experience we can teach you. If working hands on with horses is not your thing and you admire them there's lots of things you can still do to help them prepare for homes or help at the facility. What we are not: We are not a riding stables. We give lessons when able after all chores completed and trainer is here on certain days and during certain times of the year. So if your intention is to spend lots of time "in the saddle" we don't do that here. We aren't a "working ranch" for people to ride horses all day and move cattle, ride trails, etc. We are not a fancy stables ie: ...

ENGLISH VERSION Here we live in an ancient school in the mountains of north Ardeche (1350m) ! My name is Etienne (35years old) and i live there since two years with Lena (27years old) who joined me two years ago and many people who join us throughout the year. Actually we are approximatly 7 to 10 people living here . it's a pretty remote place (closest supermarket is 30 min driving) but there is often people passing by (friends, neighbor, unkowns...). Most of the place is in a good state but there is still some work to do(paintings, coating, roof fixing, isolation...), so we would need a little help for the place to be able to welcome more people, and make our daily life better. The amout of work needed from helpers would be pretty low (around one or two hours a day), We want a little help but we want at first sharing our life with new people and have a good time. We dont have so much money and we try to repair the School with less euros as possible, with second use materials ...

We live in a small village of 100 homes close to the Rakaia River Mouth, about 1 hour south of Christchurch. Our closest towns are Southbridge (10min) & Leeston (15min). There are fishing and boating opportunities in the village and lots of walking tracks to explore. Our community has been developing an 18 Hectare Native Restoration Project since 2018, with 12,000 native seedlings planted to date. We would welcome HelpXers to work with our community on the Project with tasks such as weed control and preparing new areas for planting out. There is also potential work around our home - working in the vegetable & flower garden, or helping us renovating the house and grounds. We have hosted many helpers in the past, and have also been Helpers ourselves while we travelled around NZ for 3 years, so we're confident we can make people's stay with us interesting and rewarding. We can offer you accommodation and meals for 4 hours help per day. This is a place where you would benefit more by...

Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bikes, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter at The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, we seriously need help with the massive task of @296: gardens to create & jungle to clear ! We are keen to host people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. When Debs & I started hosting in 2025 we moved to the sleepout making it possible to host helpers hopefully from different cultures in the house. T...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Accommodation comprises of a forward double cabin, with its own bathroom. Work is varied cleaning, polishing, sewing, etc. Some mechanical work, needing an extra pair of hands. I would expect guests to help me for 4-5 hours per day. Weekends off, I would hope. In return for meals and accommodation. I enjoy sailing, fishing, diving, and bush walking, and showing of the beauty of the Queensland coast. Weather providing. Still, plenty to work on going. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Tim

Hi, my name is Mary. I live on the border of NSW and Victoria, a town called Albury. There is a train service to Albury from Sydney about 9 hours and Melbourne about 5 hours train trip. I am happy to pick someone from the Albury railway station. Albury is a pretty town on the Hume Highway. It is inland on the Murray River and there are a lot of local attractions, vineyards, historical small towns, snow fields and many more, only a few hours drive. I am located in town, with the railway station and the airport not too far, about 15minutes drive. I am fully vaccinated and require the same of a helper. I only take Non-smokers (meaning you do not smoke at all, outside as well). Currently I am asking for 2.5hrs a day for board only. You can cook for yourselves, buy supplies locally and after cooking clean your area. I would like help with the garden and other general duties around the house, such as cleaning. If you are travelling this way, either going to Melbourne or locally and can hel...

We have organic gardens with fruit trees, all sorts of berries, vegetable gardens with free roaming bantams, big layer hens, flower beds, lawns as well as a goat on paddocks and a cute house cat. 1 of our 4 kids, Katharina, is living next door with her partner. In summer I live in a gorgeous cottage right at the high water line in popular Mapua. If peace and tranquility is what you like, this is the place to be with restaurants and cafe's just around the corner. It is very close to the Abel Tasman National Park. In winter I live in my Nelson house, close to the town and on the bus line or cycleway. I am 74, love the arts and sing in a world-music choir. I am also a yuan-gong teacher. There are always jobs to be done that are too hard for me to do by myself. At the moment help with weeding would be very welcome, as well as planting an orange tree. A bit of cleaning would also be great. In return I can welcome you in my delightful abode. I am mostly carnivore, and therefore it's probably best if you organize your own meals. This means that I give you a wonderful room in my house in exchange for 2 hours of work. If this sounds like you, I'd love to meet you and send you on your way to get to know Nelson and surrounding area.

We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. There are also several other islands nearby that can be explored including North Stradbroke Island that has wonderful beaches and walks and lots of wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, turtles and dolphin and - from June to October - humpback whales. Over the next two years we will renovate and paint the home, install new kitchen and two bathrooms. Graham has some woodworking skill but needs help during that time with various tasks and we are willing to give you a comfortable bed, good food and company and access to bathroom and washing machine in exchange for 4 hours help per day, 5 days per week. Our preference is for a single person or couple who have some skil...

It is our mission to provide visitors from all over the world with an authentic experience of the unique atmosphere and culture of our home in Canada’s far North. As a well-established tourism company, we are diversifying our impacts and create a more resilient business. Doing this is not only fulfilling our long-term mission of developing a self-sustaining Arctic Eco-Village, but also investigating innovative solutions to major obstacles facing communities in the North: food and housing insecurity, decolonizing our economy, capacity development and cultural revitalization. Sustainable farming is not the only focus we have here, but we are continuously developing ideas and trying new farming methods. We are happy to find people from all over the world who are as motivated as we are to make living in the Arctic more sustainable. Organic methods: In the summer time, when we enjoy 24 hour sunshine, we grow our plants in greenhouses without the use of any chemical/artificial fertilizers....

I have a house with a 0.25ha garden that is part of a larger community . We are about 10 mins drive, or an easy hitch, from Byron Bay (and all its tourist attractions); Brunswick or Mullumbimby and 2 mins from the beach. I`m always glad of help with my 1/4 ha - projects like building the vegie garden; trimming back the ever enroaching bush, or projects around the house. The arrangement is 2 hours in exchange for accommodation (14 hours a week), looking after your own food but sharing our kitchen. Gondwana, the larger community that Lotus Ponds is part of, is about 50 people with a community house and hall with weekly community dinner and meditations, yoga, table tennis & pool tables with levels of activity that depend on who is here. The people living here change more often than I update this ! But typically are inspired by some combination of Dance (5Rhythms, Open-Floor, Contact); Permaculture; Surfing; Osho; Personal Growth; Cooking; Music and Nature; in the rest of Gondwana ...

I am currently looking for a couple (or 2 or 3 friends) who would be able to stay for around a week starting around 9th August (or if you can stay 2 weeks, from 2nd August works too). This would involve some spring cleaning tasks and helping with a smallish adults party...including food & drink prep (nothing overly fancy), decorating the venue and setting up (and maybe help run) some fun games, serving food/drinks and heating the food up on the night, and being responsible for cleaning the space at the end of the night (packing down trestle tables, stacking chairs, sweeping, vacuuming, putting rubbish and recycling out, turning off heaters/lights and locking up. If you enjoy taking photos that would be a bonus too (but not essential). As around 8-10hrs work would be needed on 15th this should work well for people who like to do longer blocks of hours to give themselves whole days to sightsee/ relax. If you are not able to help with the party (15th August) please let me know wha...

The Humpback whale and mackeral season starts during July and we enjoy getting out and catching a feed of fish while watching the whales cruise by ..last season a couple of Wwoofers that stayed here awhile saw at least 50 whales over several trips during the winter ..some less then 10 metres from our boat.... From Late-July we would particularly love to host one or 2 people to help out around the garden, plant nursery and farm/orchard....Gardening, carpentry, welding or physical labour skills are particularly helpful... Volunteers can use their time here to sign off for 7 days a week towards their 88 days 2nd or 3rd year visa sign off and we have helped many backpackers secure a second/third year visa as we are registered primary producers in the correct postcode (4854) for "disaster relief". Please make sure you let us know you are looking to get your visa days signed off so we can provide appropriate work from the cyclone recovery list...also be sure to answer the questions at t...

We are looking for a couple or two friends to stay for a couple of weeks or more if agreed. We are maintaining our property for sale and we need to keep in condition. There is work removing trees, tidying up the garden and removing debris from the fires and recent storms. There is also cleaning work helping Cate with property management. During free time you are welcome to borrow our electric scooters and go swimming and exploring. We live in Mallacoota, one of Australia's most beautiful places on the southeast coast. It is a World Biosphere Reserve in the middle of the Croajingolong National Park next to the ocean with an estuarine lake system and many, many beaches. We are 2km from the town centre and 3km from the nearest beach. There are about seven magnificent beaches within 10km of us. Mallacoota is 540km from Melbourne, 630km from Sydney and 360km from Canberra with limited access via public transport so keep that in mind when planning your schedule. Our family includes M...

The usual chores will involve some gardening or g...

Homestay in Southern Indiana We are looking for a capable and thoughtful person (or couple) for a long term stay to assist with housekeeping, meal prep, organization, and selling items on FB marketplace & Craigslist. Age doesn’t matter nearly as much as respect, emotional maturity, honesty, and a true desire to help change lives for the better. This position is ideal for someone who needs time and space for things like yoga and meditation, writing a book or blog. If you have an online job with flexible hours, are into wildlife photography or maybe just perfecting your favorite bread recipe, this is the place for you! Hoping you will have experience with eBay, FB marketplace and photography or be willing to learn. A licensed driver with a vehicle would be awesome, but it is not a deal breaker if you don’t have a car. (We are hoping to find a used car for helpers to use.) Projects currently in the works are - - food prep once a week & freezing ready to eat meals - learning to ...

We are an intentional community-based Yoga retreat located in a beautiful natural bush setting on the edge of Sydney. We have included some general information below. If you have any questions please ask. What type of person are we looking for? We are looking for community-minded, hardworking people who are respectful and helpful to be part of our team. Since we are an intentional community-based yoga retreat, we expect people to work together. The people that live here, are not volunteers - but karmic yogis.

UPDATE: Currently this helpx position is most suited to couples, preferably with a car and some renovation experience. We are a multi generation family and we live in a large family home on a beautiful outer suburban property by a creek. On our doorstep are beautiful wildflower walk trails (and kangaroos!:) in Mundy Regional Park and Lesmurdie Falls National Park. Kanyana Wildlife sanctuary is nearby. We have a large garden that needs lots of work. I have an art studio where I conduct art classes for children. The home is located in the Perth hills about 30 minutes from the city centre and 15 minutes to the airport. The accommodation is a large bedroom** in a self contained apartment on the ground floor. This area is currently being renovated but the bathroom and small kitchen are still usable. ** Helpers can also use the family space upstairs and we can all cook/eat together in the large family kitchen. I would need 24 hours (4 hours/day x 6 days but timing is flexible) help f...

We are located in the heart of Berlin, one of Europe's most exciting and diverse cities. With its vibrant cultural scene, world-class museums, historic landmarks, countless cafés, parks, and excellent public transport, Berlin is the perfect place to experience urban life while enjoying a welcoming home environment. I would kindly ask you to help with painting, fencing, gardening, sweeping leaves, cleaning and maintaining the house, as well as feeding and caring for the animals. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time. You will have your own private room, and I will provide breakfast and one warm meal each day. If you enjoy cooking in a holistic and nutritious way, you are more than welcome to do so. I am always happy to share my knowledge about healthy food and learn from others as well. I am not just looking for someone to help with daily tasks—I would like to offer a meaningful cultural exchange and create a positive experience together. If you are interested in me...
