We are a couple with grown up Children who sometimes live here too. We live on 120 acres deep in the jarrah forest, very quiet and peaceful. We have market garden as well as run cattle and lots of pets.. goats, horses, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats.. the list goes on. We welcome people to share our farm life and participate in daily work... help required is varied and depends on your skills: but is mostly outdoors gardening, picking rhubarb, weeding, helping with general farm maintenance etc. ..There are plenty of opportunities to walk in the forest, swim or maybe work out in our home gym .....Stay is for a week initially and we are happy to negotiate longer stays if we all get along. In fact we really like longer stays.....Accom is in a self contained caravan near the house, with all food supplied and sharing some meals with the family, in return for working each morning with us..

Join a heartfelt conservation project on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. Help protect sea turtles through night patrols and hatchling releases, monitor birds as bioindicators of ecosystem health, and care for the land through permaculture, compost and natural fertilizers. Take part in coastal monitoring, beach clean-ups and plastic awareness while learning, connecting with nature and creating real impact. The activities are based on the four pillars of the project: Sea Turtle Conservation: The sea turtle season begins in July and ends in December. From January to June, the frequency of turtles on the beach is reduced to one or two per month, so only one daytime patrol is conducted three times a week to relocate eggs on the beach if a turtle hatches. During these months, activities such as informational signage and beach sectoring are carried out. From July to December, night patrols begin. From September to December, the hatching of baby turtles begins, along with nest exhumation activitie...

I live in an old farmhouse surrounded by greenery in Pommiers-en-Forez, a Clunisien site and a tiny village of about 500 residents located in the beautiful French countryside, 50 minutes from Lyon, not far from the Alps. I’m looking for non-smoking helpers who could assist me a few hours a day to finish renovating the farmhouse and set up my guesthouse (painting, light carpentry, etc). If you feel like doing some DIY, painting, fixing up my chicken coop, and helping me set up my guesthouse, then come see me... You’ll have your own room. The shared kitchen is for everyone’s use. I would, of course, provide the necessary tools, and there is also space available for artistic activities. I speak English. I can lend you a bike to explore the area and, if needed, take you to the nearest train station, which is 15 minutes away. I have a cat and a dog who brighten up my days. I do not allow other pets. Feel free to contact me if you’d like more details. I look forward to meeting you.

* Very often one or two of the volunteers works as a handyman and general maintenance worker, and this position can also be paid for the hours in excess of the 25 hours per week. From the reviews of the others you can understand a lot and you can feel what we can share... I speak English, Franch and basic Portugues. Hi ! We are a parish situated in the center of Tuscany. We are in a town, really nice and famous, rich of art and history, not so far from Siena. The name of the town is San Gimignano. In our parish we organized many activities with kids and teenagers. Even if there are many tourists around every day, I really like the idea to give to the more young of the community the possibility to share time and experiences with those who have a different background, different experiences, different languages. For this reason I decided to open our activities to some people of other cities and countries. We organize activities especially in summer for children and teenagers, some activi...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. This is a traditional family-owned farm which, after years of abandonment, is currently being re-imagined as a sustainable and environmentally-conscious community. Located just 3km from the beach, where the Pampa plain meets the rugged coastline of the Argentinian Atlantic. We are passionate about agriculture, surfing, music, travel, nature and the environment, who want to create a communal space where people from around the world can come to learn about sustainable living and ecological ideals; share delicious organic food from the gardens; surf; tell stories; share knowledge, ideas, culture and language; learn about farming, the environment, or just relax and enjoy the farm and surrounds. The project is in its early stages and we are looking for energetic and responsible individuals wanting to experience and contribute to rural life and communal living close to nature. We are looking for self-motivated individuals to help us out with daily tasks such as helping in the kitchen, kee...

We are located in the heart of Berlin, one of Europe's most exciting and diverse cities. With its vibrant cultural scene, world-class museums, historic landmarks, countless cafés, parks, and excellent public transport, Berlin is the perfect place to experience urban life while enjoying a welcoming home environment. I would kindly ask you to help with painting, fencing, gardening, sweeping leaves, cleaning and maintaining the house, as well as feeding and caring for the animals. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time. You will have your own private room, and I will provide breakfast and one warm meal each day. If you enjoy cooking in a holistic and nutritious way, you are more than welcome to do so. I am always happy to share my knowledge about healthy food and learn from others as well. Willunga is a beautiful heritage town an hour south of Adelaide, 10 minutes from the McLaren Vale Wine Region, and 10 minutes from Port Willunga beach. I have a huge and beautiful garden with a swimming pool which is always in need of attention and our old heritage house is always in need of maintenance. I am happy to provide accommodation and food- in exchange for a very mixed range of jobs. Sometimes there is work at a 160 ha farm in Mt Compass with cattle, horses, bees and a vineyard 60 km south of Adelaide, 15 minutes drive from my home. There is 80 ha of heritage listed native vegetation with a beautiful dam and walking trails. There is not a lot of public transport around this area, so it is useful to have your own transport. Some of the work needed includes cleaning, gardening, minor repairs and painting. Vineyard and farm work is needed at certain times of the year. I have two private bedrooms, both with comfortable queen sized beds. I have two bikes that can be bo...

Hello, my name is Florent, I'm 45 years old, I was a chef for about twenty years, and since 2017 I've been a spirulina producer. Spirulina is a microalga that's very rich in nutrients. It's a very environmentally friendly crop, requiring little energy and no pesticides. Spirulina needs sun and warmth to grow. The harvest season in our region runs from April to October, and it's during this period that I'm interested in hosting someone (I don't need two people at the same time, one is enough). Normally, I already have people helping me until the end of august, so I'm looking for someone from beginning of september. I mainly need someone to help me harvest the spirulina but also sometimes to help me out on the farm with various tasks, as we do everything ourselves: cleaning, labeling, packaging, general maintenance and odd jobs, and also everything else that goes along with the spirulina production: clearing brush, chopping wood, going to markets from time to time, house constructi...

Our next availability is from the start of September. We are looking for a *female* native French speaker who is good with children. Tasks will include looking after our children while teaching them French, housework, helping to prepare our Airbnb accommodation and farmwork. For September and October, we could host someone who is not interested in helping on the farm. The main help needed is with the kids so we are looking for someone who has experience with kids and is patient and engaging. Our preference would be to host someone who could stay for at least 2 months. 🐑 🐎 🐑 🐎 Helpers will work for 6 hours per day 5 days a week in return for food and accommodation. 🐑 🐎 🐎 🐑 Our farm is in the north-west of Ireland, in County Sligo. As well as horses and sheep, we have two alpacas, a pig, two dogs, two cats and some chickens! 🐎 Accommodation will be provided in a mobile home on the farm. Possible dates between 10 august and 30 august 2026. Thank you for your understanding. Hi, my name is Claire, I'm 49 and I live in a charming hamlet in the Dordogne countryside. I have an orchard, a small henhouse with three chickens, and a small vegetable patch. I have two children (14 and 21) but they may not be present during your stay. We have two cats. The setting is very pleasant, very green and touristy, with many places to visit: castles, swimming spots, farmers' markets, forest walks... After an unsuccessful project, I'm in need of help to clear, sort, tidy and maintain the house and grounds. I'm a handywoman with an ecological bent, and can pass on a few skills: sewing, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, drawing, recipes for eco-friendly household products, etc. There is Wi-Fi in the house for communication. The train station is a 20-minute drive away. There is no transport, so I'll be your “cab” if you don't have a car. I can lend bicycles. I'd be delighted to share and exch...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. We are on an 70 acre farm in North Pope County, Illinois and are virtually surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest. Having been on this farm for 13 years, we are still developing infrastructure and are continuing to plant in the orchard and various berries as well as establishing and expanding garden and crop areas. We are a GMO, herbicide and pesticide free farm in all of our outdoor areas. As we are far away from "modern agricultural" property, we feel that we should have no problems with cross pollination of our crops with GMO's or damage/exposure from/to ag chemicals. There are many projects currently in process or in the planning stages. This summer/fall we hope to get new water and electric lines ran to all the barns and the greenhouse as well as get a fiber studio framed in and get the finishing touches on the greenhouses. Tasks on the farm are endless, so there are always things to do year round. Clearing brush, cutting wood, building fence, baling hay, sawing lumber, ...

This is a horse-riding and outdoor adventure company nestled in the heart of the Alpujarras, on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada (Granada, Spain). With over 30 years of experience, we organise horseback treks through some of Andalusia's most stunning and off-the-beaten-path landscapes. We are looking for motivated helpers to assist with horse care, stable maintenance, and various tasks around the property including cleaning, repairing, taking care of the other animals. If you're a horse rider, you may help with horse treks as well. Seeking out a friendly individual with a good work ethic whom can confidently do the following: feeding, mucking out, leading out horses to arena , lunging , exercising horses and prepping horses for hunting season. We have a good selection of horses ranging from 2 -3 year old young stock, two 4 year old recently backed and riding, 5 year olds and older riding horses and hunters. About Us I'm Hiro, and I live with three roommates in Toshima Ward, Tokyo. My roommates are Japanese and Nepali, including a queer woman. They are an "aspiring" voice actor, student, and sole proprietor. Room sharing and coming out of the closet are uncommon in Japan. The Neighborhood Two stations from Ikebukuro and ~30 minutes from Shinjuku and Shibuya. Quiet residential area with some restaurants and shops. The house is old, poorly ventilated, and in a natural setting. Not suitable for people with asthma or allergies to dust or animals. We have different lifestyles and are very busy most days. I'm an IT engineer and work from home, busy on weekdays. If you stay short-term, we may not have much time to meet with you. While you’re staying with us, we’ll have a get-together at home with drinks. Let me know whether you drink alcohol and if you have any dietary restrictions. My roommates are happy to share their knowledge of Japanese pop culture. They play video games, guitar, piano, ...

After an intense house renovation, we are now entering the final phase, focusing on cleaning and refreshing the house. From APRIL (for about one month), we are looking for help with PAINTING work inside and outside, as well as some light gardening tasks such as weeding. This period is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and likes to see visible results at the end of the day. From JUNE onwards, as the weather becomes warmer, the help will mainly consist of daily HOUSEKEEPING tasks (cleaning, ironing), with occasionally some light gardening. We’ve found that this experience works best for people who enjoy staying active and contributing in a practical way to daily life. We truly appreciate volunteers who bring positive energy, a hands-on mindset, and a genuine willingness to help. We are a Belgian family who has been living in France for over 20 years. In our late fifties, we speak French, Dutch, English, and a bit of Spanish. Our home is located in the beautiful r...

We live on a small hill farm in the beautiful county Wicklow known as the garden of Ireland. We are a family of four. Becky and Kilian and our daughters Zoe (11) and Bea (8). Fiona (18) is also staying with us this year as an au-pair. We are quite remote so it is very serene and peaceful and the view is amazing. We speak English and German as well as French. We farm organically and have 15 free range organic pigs as well as 2 horses and 5 cats. We also have a poly tunnel and farm garden where we grow vegetables for our own use. Becky works from home and Kilian when he is not farming, has an additional part time job which calls him away on projects from time to time. We live 1km outside a little village called Redcross. It has a pub that brews its own beers and there is also a restaurant, snack bar and shop. We are 20 minutes to drive from a town called Arklow which is on the sea and there is normally a chance to get a lift in but it’s only a 1 hour cycle. Wicklow is a cool part of t...

For an experience in a farm with horses and dogs, if you love nature and are not afraid of hard work! Here you’ll find silence and peace, and also many splendid places to visit. [UPDATE: We don’t have availability for a position in horse care only. But we have availability for a strong person, hard worker, to help outside with the bush clearing, using the brushcutter, driving the tractor to grind the fields, apart from helping a bit with the animals and the handling of horses. Note that we are very busy during the week, and we can't go and check our emails every day. You might have to wait a bit for an answer. Sorry for this.] We live in a sparsely populated area called Berry located in the center of France between Orléans (60km) and Bourges (50km). The closest city is Gien, 27km away. Just west is the county called Sologne, where nature is all around, though we are at only 2 hours from Paris. East is the Sancerre valley. We are looking for handy volunteers or good riders.

It can be cold in winter so may be unsuitable for someone who feels the cold easily. Wi...

🐶 Currently looking for AUTUMN&WINTER volunteers. Minimum stay: 10-15 days. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars and 80+ reviews on Worldpackers 🏡 We welcome volunteers in our countryside home in Sicily where they can be part of a community of travellers and make a difference in the lives of the dogs in our care - by helping to clean their enclosures, give them food and water, take them on walks, and provide as much individualized attention as possible. Our NGO, with the help of a passionate community of volunteers, strives to cure and find loving homes for the many strays in our area. 🐕‍🦺 Activities: We ask for help in taking care of the dogs in our shelter - clean their enclosures, give them food and water, take them on walks, and play and cuddle with them.

Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Most of our horses are pure bred Irish Draughts. I am looking for someone with riding experience. If French, I am only seeking those with a gallop 5 and above. There is great riding opportunities for the right candidate with our hunters and young schooling horses. In addition to arena work, horses are also trekked out on the road as well as taken to the woods and beach. Along with trips to different grounds for show jumping training and cross country.

Hello! Would you like to stay in a villa by the sea? I offer free accommodation in exchange for a few hours of help. The villa is located 15 minutes from Ajaccio. It has bedrooms with private bathrooms, a gym with a spa, a jacuzzi in a landscaped garden, large terraces and a swimming pool. The beaches are just a short walk away, with small coves and natural pools directly opposite the villa. The panoramic sea views and sunsets make the setting particularly idyllic. A transfer from the airport or port can be arranged depending on availability, during the daytime only (details available on request). The minimum stay is one week. Simply indicate your available dates in your request. The help mainly involves cleaning, cooking, garden maintenance or small painting jobs. It represents around four hours per day, with the option of grouping the work into one full day every other day. The rest of the time can be spent enjoying Lava’s large beach, the coves in front of the villa, the hiking trai...

Check...
