Our wonderful helpers from Argentina & France have left to go to a winter job in the snowfields. They loved it here, so we are now seeking some new helpers as there is still plenty to do in the garden over winter. ENJOY THE FREEDOM & BEAUTY OF SOUTH GIPPSLAND. Property is a botanic garden of Australian native plants, many rare or endangered, plus an acre of plants for cut flowers, mainly proteas, banksias and tea trees. Lots of wildlife. We need help with weeding, mowing, mulching, planting and general clean up as the property is too big for the two of us to maintain. Accommodation is very comfortable, private, with fully set up kitchen in a studio style cottage with a queen size bed and smart TV. Recently installed a new electric oven with airfry function. Has split system heating and cooling. It is separate from the main house. It was a very popular AirBnB destination but we have decided not to do it anymore as it is too much extra work. The property is rural; half way between Wontha...

10 of us live in a collective in the countryside in an old farm. We do art, events, arts and crafts, gardening. My daughter is the only child growing up here (there is now a new family woth 2 other children), I would like to resume activities within the collective and I am looking for someone who wants to babysit (4 or 5 half days when you want except the Thursday) my 2 yearold daughter (at this time) 🙂 We live in a group, so we eat together, we organize the weeks together, we often have evenings together. But only if we want. Everyone has their own personal space too. We can make music, play board games, go for walks, go to the village, take care of the animals (sheep, chickens, geese, ducks, dog, cat, duck)... It's in the countryside, in the hills, it's beautiful :) The nearest store is a 20-minute walk away, 5 minutes by bike (I lend you the bike!) You will sleep in the brand new dormitory (6 people max in the dormitory) or maybe have a room. Here, you will learn to live in a...

Meet our international family and experience the countryside on a horse farm near Oslo, Norway! (Good riders especially welcome.) PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOW FULLY BOOKED FOR THE SUMMER OF 2026 (INCLUDING AUGUST). It could be suitable for one or two persons (sharing our guest bedroom with a double bed). We are mainly looking for some help with feeding and watering our horses, cleaning the fields and maybe help with producing some firewood (if the weather permits). So it's helpful if you have some experience with horses or other livestock. Our family of 4 (with 2 daughters, 20 and 15) lives on the countryside in Southern Norway, between Oslo and the border with Sweden. The place where we live used to be a farm, but it is not producing anything today. It is just a private home for us and our animals (cats, dogs and horses). The fields are used to produce grass and hay for our own horses, but the work connected to that is done by a local farmer. There are several nationalities in our fam...

We are looking for couples or two friends as we are a little isolated and prefer two people to be at home together. We are a busy family living in a large home nestled between the Blue Mountains and Wollemi National Parks. We are 15 minutes from Richmond train station and 1.5 hours from Sydney CBD. We live in a nature sanctuary on Corfu island in Greece. we are a COMMUNITY of PLANTS, ANIMALS AND HUMAN BEINGS, who try to live together IN THE SPIRIT OF NATURE. we are organized similar to a zen monastery. yet we are not affiliated to any religious body, but to the holy body of our mother earth. the earth takes care of us. the earth gives to us what we need. she gives us and she for-gives us – she never asks for money… we admire the communities in nature (ecosystems), where all members balance their needs and gifts in a healthy way, without money, without machines and without chemicals. here in NATURE’S SANCTUARY we try to live in harmony with nature. we try to support and protect all our nature brothers and sisters, who share this sanctuary with us… it is a CHALLENGE TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE. it is a challenge to protect and support all nature beings in a way, that they have the chance to live in their own natural born communities. we are looking for people, who want to take...

We are a young couple who have made the leap from the UK to NZ and then from the city to the country. We have travelled a lot before settling in NZ and love to meet new people. We have a beautiful home in the countryside but also close to the beach. Perfect if you like animals and being in the outdoors and love the sea. We love to paddleboard in the Ngunguru estuary and walk our dog along the many trails and beaches nearby. We are about 20mins out from town so having a car would be a bonus unless you are happy to relax at home while we are at work. The stunning Tutukaka coastline is also 30 mins drive and is a must see for any traveller. Another must see destination in NZ, the Bay of Islands is an hour away. We were new to lifestyle blockering and are still learning as we go. We have a 4 yr old called Alfie and a 2 yr old called Charlotte as well as the dog (Pip), Chickens, Ducks, sheep lambs and cows. This means there is enough of a range of jobs to suit most peoples preference. F...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , .

We have been living on our property in the heart of Gascony for two years. Our family also includes 3 dogs and 6 chickens that we rescued. We are looking for a single person or couple who enjoys helping out, whether in the garden or with renovations (painting walls, laying parquet flooring, tidying up, etc.). We need help 3 hours per day. My husband and I are vegan/vegetarian. We provide the renovated holiday home. The property also features a pond and a natural swimming pool. Anyone who loves nature will appreciate our peaceful retreat. The nearest small town is a 10-minute drive away. Many events take place in the region during spring, summer and autumn. There is no public transport nearby. However, the hiking trail is right outside the door.

Hi travellers, welcome to NZ! I found out about helpx from travellers overseas and thought I would try it. We live on a sheep and beef farm 35 minutes east of Masterton, 15 minutes from Riversdale beach and 25 minutes from Castlepoint beach. I live with my wife Mel and daughters Kenzie (4yrs ) and Emmie (2yrs). We are looking for 2 people; one to help collect eggs on the farm (or both people sometimes) and the other to help watch our daughters, on some days :) You will have your own room, food supplied, Internet and washing machine. We can pick you up from Masterton. I have travelled a lot and enjoy meeting new people. I think a travelling experience is most enjoyable when a local shows you the local sites, cultures and attractions. I have had many friends, who I have met overseas, visit me and I enjoy being host and enhancing their NZ experience. And when I visit them they do the same for me. Alex, Mel, Kenzie & Emmie

Hi. We are a fun, friendly household in the sunny Bay of Plenty! I'm a Drama & English teacher and Blair is an electrician. My husband and I have 2 fun, adventurous girls, we also have a dog and cat. We enjoy biking, baking, board games and picnics at the beach, amongst other things. We would love to host people who are honest, friendly, independent, hard-workers and are interested in meeting new people and enjoying what Tauranga has to offer. In exchange for 4 hours work per day, you will receive free accommodation, meals (please provide your own snacks) and wifi. Work includes domestic-type chores; mainly cleaning, cooking and possibly baby-sitting - helps if you like children and animals. We have a cat and golden retriever. It is definitely easier if you have a car, although buses are available from here. We had a homestay from China for a year who found their way round on the buses fine but it does take a while. Happy for any amount of time e.g. 1 or 2 weeks or months stay but ...

Hello, i would be happy for help. There is a lot to do on this place, mostly in the garden. Technical help, e.g. installation of solar panel, building a greenhouse, renovation of an old cattle house would also be needed. A carpenter and a bricklayer would be also great. We are vegetarian ! :-) We are a couple in our best age, and are here since 5 years. We want to build a small place for meditation and Qi Gong here. We want this to become a place for living and coming together. We would be happy to meet you.

We live in beautiful Moray, im the countryside but near to Forres. We grow our own veg without chemicals and try to live a low-impact lifestyle by recycling and reusing second-hand materials, practicing wildlife friendly gardening, with lots of learning on the job. We have a small caravan with electric hook up and kitchen in a peaceful rural setting. In return, we would like two hours of help a day on our wee homestead. Tasks could be general gardening tasks like feeding chickens, weeding, watering, planting, mowing, painting etc. We have veggie beds, fruit trees and bushes, and some small wild areas. There are always more skilled tasks like fencing, carpentry etc available for experienced people, and there would often be a choice of tasks to get on with. Basically I need more helping hands to keep developing the garden, which was very overgrown when we moved in two years ago and I think it’s a lovely Scottish, countryside opportunity to come and stay with us. We are a relaxed and f...

Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bikes, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter at The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, we seriously need help with the massive task of @296: gardens to create & jungle to clear ! We are keen to host people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. When Debs & I started hosting in 2025 we moved to the sleepout making it possible to host helpers hopefully from different cultures in the house. T...

Hello, thank you for looking at our listing. After a little break from hosting we're looking for helpers for April - October 2026. We are Cathy (47) and Leo (who is 14 years old.) We live in a lovely, but messy little cottage in a very beautiful glen. We are semi-off-grid and at the moment there's several issues with the plumbing so please do not apply if you need a daily hot shower! We like to have several helpers so friends are welcome to apply, alternatively we are happy to take single travellers - but please be aware you may need to share a sleeping area with other helpers (who we will ensure are the same sex and similar age to you.) The accommodation is extremely basic, the house is in disarray and I currently resemble a headless chicken for much of the day! Only apply if you are comfortable with untidiness and disorder. However, despite this you will have fun, be well fed and happy. The gardens and surrounding countryside are beautiful and peaceful, so escaping the crazines...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON. Need help with a garden clean up, at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed, skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town. It is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay, 2 hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots of t...

🌿 Come help on our farm! We need friendly volunteers to join us with cooking, cleaning, gardening, and everyday tasks — no experience needed, just a good attitude and willingness to muck in.We are looking for helpers between the ages of 18 to 32. We are a small community of friends working towards a better life in a beautiful part of rural Devon, in the Tamar River Valley Estuary where you will make friends for life. In exchange for your friendship while you are staying here we will endeavour to teach you new skills that will carry you through life. A small farm in a beautiful location! Our farm and home probably date back to pre 1660's, with many additions since. It has been left to go wild for the last 40 years. The river has otters, seals, beavers, salmon, sea trout, and sea bass. With buzzards and owls overhead. There are deer in the surrounding woodland. The aim for our farm is to give the land back to nature and at the same time create an organic food source that we can freely s...

Hi, it's Stephen and Philamae here. We have a beautiful rural property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely and we are running it as holiday accommodation as we move towards turning it into a funky retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer. A pair of the endangered and majestic wedge-tailed eagles live 1km away and often soar above us. This link has a lot more photos of our place : https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/1404048948970319721 (we have a series of 7 wellness retreats running 5 June to end August: see www.sherwoodloves.com.au/retreats-overview ) The next specific needs are: a) early August onwards - Mostly cleaning and bedrooms resetting, & some gardening. Generally we like stays of 4+ weeks but in this case we'd also be happy to host for a short...

Hi there travellers! I'm looking for someone to do some weeding, other gardening and other mostly outside work. There's a couple of leaks in my irrigation I have yet to find. I've always got inside work to do as well, mostly cleaning. So on these cold winter days, we can be busy inside. There's always lots to do. If you are a couple, or two couples even - you are welcome to buy and cook your own food and set your own pace around exploring/helping out in the garden. If you are travelling alone and prefer company you will be welcome to eat with us, and I am happy to set an extra place at the table. It will be expected that you spend more time hanging out with me in my garden! While you are here, whoever you are, you will be welcome to participate in our daily life, to learn about how Kiwis live. We have a large property with many apple trees, almond and peach trees, apricot and plum trees, plus lots of gardens. Also a lovely fire pit to enjoy a late night chat around. We have a ...

Hi everyone! We have a beautiful property a short walk/drive away from a gorgeous New Zealand beach. We live 45 minutes from Hamilton and 20-25 minutes from Raglan. Our area is very remote - we have some neighbours but there are no shops here or public transport, just farmland. So if you enjoy being away from cities and people then this is the place for you! Our property suits people who enjoy the outdoors and surfing, hiking, walking, animals, solitude. There is a beautiful mountain right by our house for hiking, great surfing and fishing in the area, and Raglan (a little over 20 minutes away) which is a vibrant and energetic little beach town with world famous surf. This exchange is for accommodation only. We have a cabin with a big bed and beautiful views of the farmland and mountain and sea. There is a kitchenette for you to keep and cook your own food. The bathroom is about 20 metres away from the cabin and it is a composting toilet with shower that does the job but is gravity-f...

You will like it here! We need help in our garden in June and first half of July. We are a little unconventional community of 4 persons (66,65,71,74), 1 friendly dog and 2 playful cats and we live in a cosy house surrounded by a garden. Our children are on their own, but they sometimes visit us. We raise our own organic vegetables in several raised beds and normal garden beds. There is always something to do in the garden and around the house or walking the dog, cleaning windows and so on... We live in a small rural village in the beautiful hills of the "Odenwald". Our village is located roughly between Heidelberg and Frankfurt, also Mannheim and Darmstadt can be visited easily. There is a good public transportation to all these cities. The Odenwald is a famous hiking region and ideal for mountain biking, a bike is available. There is a climbing rock not far from our house. We speak English quite fluently and some French. There are several medieval towns and castles around with beau...

Hi, We are Ben and Del. We have been hosts since 2018 and are happy to take helpers all year round. We are looking for couples or two friends as we are a little isolated and prefer two people to be at home together. ABOUT US Ben works in management and I am an Agriculture Teacher at the local high school. Our twin girls, Isabelle and Mackenzie finished school in 2025 and are currently over seas working until October. We are a busy family living in a large home nestled between the Blue Mountains and Wollemi National Parks. We are 15 minutes from Richmond train station and 1.5 hours from Sydney CBD. We are looking for a dynamic, self motivated couple to come and help our family. Because we are so busy we really are only looking for people who have lots of initiative and who can work independently. GETTING HERE Your own car is not essential but would be beneficial. If you don't have a vehicle we can pick you up from Richmond train station. Ben travels to Penrith most days for work so...

Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...
