I live in a Log cabin on one acre a short walk from the beach. It is a small town surrounded by beaches and at the start of the great barrier reef. There are 23 islands within 30 minutes boat ride. My cabin is large with a chilled atmosphere, heaps of music, a camp fire area and a bar outside as well as inside. Painting, general gardening, tree planting and housework is mostly required. Accommodation is in a comfortably caravan with double bed.. Our life style is pretty chilled which includes travel, bbq's, music, kitesurfing and fishing. We live on a semi rural farming property of 52ha overlooking the Waitemata harbour with views of Waiheke, Rangitoto and the Skytower, 30 mins south east of Auckland City. We are two minutes from the beach and there are several walks and cycling tracks nearby. We mainly farm sheep and also keep bees. You would be living as part of our family and are welcome to join in with any social events and activities, in particular fishing and boating. We have 3 adult children, and three grandchildren as well as three dogs and a cat. As a family we all enjoy meeting people from different cultures and forging connections with them and now have lifetime friends around the world. You can help us with gardening, landscaping, painting, building bee apiaries, planting natives (Autumn) and general housework and maintenance. It would be for a maximum of 4 hours a day which will leave plenty of time to explore the local area.

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!!
