Stay with us by a beautiful lake, wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy the sunrise from our beach, disconnect from the noise, become more sustainable, feel the essence of nature and climb the volcano where we live. We are looking for self-sufficient and collaborative individuals to join our team of four volunteers dedicated to maintaining and guarding the property. Hello my name's Linda. I am a Queens English speaking intelligent lady, in her early 60's. Animal LOVER. Previously had lived in incredibly touristiky tacky Marmaris in Turkey more than 16 years running private boat and fishing charters. BUT NOW on with my next about turn adventure and BIG life change having bought a very old part renovated Cortijo/FARMHOUSE in Spain, Andulucia, Granada Province on the beautiful but windy Costa Tropical famous for its exotic fruit and vegetable growing. I am 7km inland from the sea a 15/20 minutes by car journey down the gulley's mountain track from the Barranco/Ravine and Rambla/Riverbed to the coasts traditional fishing village Castell de Ferro, officially named as one of the Magical Villages of Spain on the coast below the sea and mountainous Alpujarra's and Sierra Nevada's. The Cortijo is mostly renovated and large, she stands solitary on the slopes of a low mountain lea below Mount Lujar, I am at 350meters above sea level. Amazing mountain and se...

For an experience in a farm with horses and dogs, if you love nature and are not afraid of hard work! Here you’ll find silence and peace, and also many splendid places to visit. [UPDATE: We don’t have availability for a position in horse care only. But we have availability for a strong person, hard worker, to help outside with the bush clearing, using the brushcutter, driving the tractor to grind the fields, apart from helping a bit with the animals and the handling of horses. Note that we are very busy during the week, and we can't go and check our emails every day. You might have to wait a bit for an answer. Sorry for this.] We live in a sparsely populated area called Berry located in the center of France between Orléans (60km) and Bourges (50km). The closest city is Gien, 27km away. Just west is the county called Sologne, where nature is all around, though we are at only 2 hours from Paris. East is the Sancerre valley. We are looking for handy volunteers or good riders. Check...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

Experience Life on an Australian Cattle Station 🐴🇦🇺 We are a busy working family looking for helpers to stay with us and experience the real lifestyle and culture of living on a working Australian cattle station. A big part of your role will be helping our son (who now runs a small hobby horse training business from home) with the daily care of his horses — including feeding, mucking out, grooming, and riding (if capable) — alongside general jobs that we all pitch in to do (taking care of animals). The property covers 76,000 acres of rugged and beautiful country. The property runs around 4,000 head of Brahman-cross cattle and also breed our own Quarter Horse x Stock Horses, including our pride and joy — a beautiful blue roan stallion. My son and I are experienced horse people who compete regularly in ranch horse riding competitions and attends many horsemanship clinics across the region. I follow natural horsemanship principles and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others who are g...

***We don’t have any space until mid March*** Welcome to our little slice of paradise just outside of Reefton! We run a dairy farm that, while not organic, follows regenerative principles to care for the land and our animals. Our family includes two young kids (Freya May 2020 and Arlo March 2022), two friendly dogs, chickens, and a few horses. We try to live off the land as much as possible, growing our own food and embracing a simple, sustainable lifestyle. When I was a kid, my family hosted HelpXers and WWOOFers, and I absolutely loved the experience of meeting people from all over the world. Now, I’d love to give that same experience to my own kids—welcoming travelers, sharing knowledge, and creating a home where people can learn, connect, and be part of our daily life. We’re looking for friendly, practical helpers who don’t mind getting stuck in with a mix of tasks, including: • General household help • Gardening and yard work • Weed eating • Stacking firewood • Helping with the ...

Hei ! Here is Ingunn and Mathieu. We are a Norwegian-French couple and since mai 2021 a happy family of three. Our family house "Karnes Gaard" is a farm since the 16th century. In 1912, Ingunn's grand father gave part of the land for the Tromsø county to build "Solhov", prestigious boarding school and largest wooden building north of Trondheim. When Ingunn took over the farm in 2009, running it organically felt something obvious. And when Solhov was for sale the next year, a dream became possible : sharing our love for the Lyngen Alps by hosting guests who seek breathtaking surroundings, healthy stay and organic local food, peaceful lifestyle and carbon-free activities. Our dream is to serve as much as possible our organic and local products to these guests. Originally we grow potatoes and strawberries. We are trying several small scale production to see what is possible to grow here up north. At the moment, we are focusing in : - increasing our honeybees park, hives and flowers -...

We are the proud owners of a Hotel and Holiday Park in the heart of Otago. This 2.7-hectare property is partially landscaped, but as we are in a development phase, it still requires more finishing and general upkeep. We have some painting and general garden maintenance as well as hotel housekeeping, such as making beds and cleaning. If you are a couple, you can share the different jobs between you. We will provide and cook all your yummy meals. You will have your own bedroom and shared Hotel/Camp bathrooms. We also have unlimited WIFI. If you can put a strong back into our jobs for 4 1/2 hours a day in exchange, we would be very happy. The Clutha Gold Cycle Trail runs through Beaumont and is a busy track. The Hotel is situated along the banks of the Clutha River, which has all year-round fishing. We live in a beautiful part of the world between the beach and Margaret River town. We live on a farm with multi- generational families, we work towards a lot of self sufficiency and we work off the farm also. Our interests include music and wellbeing. The Margaret River community is vibrant and has many activities on offer. Our family welcomes cross-cultural experience. We like our Helpxers to be happy; we offer clean, comfortable, private caravan accommodation. Tasks are dependent on helpxer skills, farm, family and home requirements (such as whipper snipping, gardening, wood splitting, domestic tasks, artistic skills and painting). Having a car is necessary as there is no public transport. We ask for 1 hour work a day (couple) and 1.5 hours work a day (single) which means that helpxers can get work off the farm, if you like. Kind regards :) Sabine, Tony and Family

We are a couple who have bought a piece of land with a house in Mallorca, and we need a hand to help us to renovate the house and take care of the garden. Andrada is just coming at weekends, but I am working there full time. The big value we expect from the volunteers is the company, due to Andrada only staying here at weekends, during the week I am alone, and to share a time with people is a big help. Also, we are people that in the past travel a lot, and we miss the cultural exchange. For daily task here are some examples, help with construction tasks, such as making cement, painting, gardening or cleaning.

Approximately 20km from Westport, 1km from Tauranga Bay! Public transport is limited? I'm a Certified Plumber and Drainlayer by trade but recently retired to work on property (next stage of life!) I have hosted many people through Couchsurfing over the years! Helpx is a new concept for me I purchased the property which is in need of a lot of work to tidy up, contouring/fencing/and planting trees etc. I'm now into planting out and setting up orchard also clearing introduced plants and replanting with natives. Current projects are building a new cottage for myself which is at the internal painting stage! and similar 2-bedroom cottage as a guest house which is at the internal lining and painting stage! both will be total off grid power and water supply. Next on the list is building a hot house and shade house I'...

We are looking for up to 2 people to help feed cattle and sheep, and a handyman that would like to do some building work. We have approximately 2000 hectares of undulating country, situated in the middle of New South Wales. We run sheep, cattle, and do some farming. We run approximately 1500 sheep, which need lamb marking and shearing. With the cattle we have mustering and yard work. We also have daily feeding of calves and lambs. The bee hives need some attention, eg extracting honey, moving boxes around, cleaning area. We also have chickens and turkeys, which need attention daily and working dogs to be cared for. With fencing and building we also need help. We have composting, vegetable garden and fruit trees. When it rains we need help with our grain farming. Currently we need help with cutting fire wood around the property, this will consist of 3 to 4 hours per day and can help get you some pocket money and also experience the land. I also have bee hives that need some attention a...

We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown garden. In addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Maryborough is only 30 minutes away from Hervey Bay with beautiful beaches overlooking Frazer Island. Maryborough is a beautiful old heritage town with a lot of old buildings and parks all around. We're just a few metres away from the Mary River, at a quite place and only 1.5 km from town. There'...

Tired of the hostel life? Ready for an authentic Kiwi experience? Come live with us and explore the Bay of Islands! We're looking for a friendly backpacker to join our home in Kerikeri starting Mid April 2026. We'd love for you to stay a minimum of 2 weeks, but longer is even better! A Typical Day: Wake up in your own private room. Help us out for a few hours in the morning with a mix of gardening, planting, and some general DIY projects. You'lll work by yourself mostly but I will help when need be, and if it's raining, we'll move indoors for something else. You'll have plenty of days off to relax and explore the area. The Perks: We'll provide a comfortable place to stay, delicious meals (a light breakfast and home-cooked dinners!), and all the comforts you need. Think a private room with a comfy bed, your own nearby bathroom, and lightning-fast Wi-Fi for streaming or chatting with family. Your Home Base: Our place is set in a quiet, country-style location, but you're only a 20-minu...

I live on an organic farm about 15km from Kerikeri. It's a short walk to Lake Manuwai which is great for swimming and kayaking. There are beautiful bushwalks close by, a canyon and the Kauri forest. I am developing the property by planting a native forest, a vinyard, fruit and vegetables. For around 4 hours help mostly outside (weather dependent) you get good food and accommodation with your own room and bathroom. I love eating good food, yoga, fishing, swimming, travelling, music and good company.

CURRENTLY SEEKING HELP WITH CIDER APPLE AND PERRY PEAR HARVESTING - LATE SEPTEMBER TO EARLY DECEMBER (EITHER FOR PART OR ALL OF THAT PERIOD) I am a 81 year old architect and countryman with cider, perry and damson orchards and a large house and garden. Two young friends live in a converted barn next door - a jazz & blues guitarist and his wife - and two other long-term residents also live in the house with me. We have poultry, goats, dogs and cats as well. We hold regular jazz concerts on site and we live a sort of communal life with frequent visitors. This is an opportunity to experience traditional country living in the west midlands of England. You will be introduced to all aspects of life in this rural location, where hops and fruit are still quite extensively grown. We live fairly communally, sharing most meals together - food is an important part of life here! We cook from scratch using our own produce where possible, or locally sourced ingredients. We welcome guests to cook a...

Sorry folks, but we are now fully booked until the beginning of September 2026. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, self defense, jewellery making, or help Tony with his book and video courses, we could be a great match. Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. It is surrounded scraggy mountains and long valley walks. It is perfect for hiking or just relaxing in the sun with a good book. Within easy traveling distance for those interested in exploring this culturally rich island, is the seaside town of Cefalù or even the main capital city of Palermo, both are easily accessible by bus and train from the local town. A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

Come experience the stunning views of Te Mata overlooking Whangarei Harbour and Bream Bay. We are looking for helpX volunteers for one or more weeks in exchange for accommodation in a spacious room in the main house, 3 delicious meals a day, and, of course, a great time. Alcohol is available at cost. If we click, long-term stays (until late May 2026) are preferred, just like several of our previous helpers who stayed with us for more than five months! The vacancy is available now. Our 12-hectare lifestyle block is located 20 minutes/km south of Whangarei (15 minutes by car to Bream Bay sandy beaches). It's an oasis of 50% native bush, rest paddocks and subtropical orchards: 60% bananas and a canopy of schizolobium, cherimoyas, papayas, mango, feijoa, and temperate fruits. Not to forget the SACRED GROVE where many events like parties, weddings (Ceremony and Reception) took place. If you're arriving by public transport, we can arrange a pickup in Whangarei. However, having your own car...

I live with my adult son in a rural area 20 minutes from the Wellington CBD. I have other family members living nearby. A daughter, son in law and two teenage grand-daughters. They live on a lifestyle property and my property is a large section backing onto native bush, in a rural setting. We are used to hosting people because I used to have Japanese students billeted with me a few years ago. There is no bus service where we are but about 8 minutes over the hill is a large suburban area called Karori which does have a bus service and shops, a library, public swimming pool and other amenities. I would be prepared to drop a guest over the hill to the bus if they didn't have their own transport. About 20 minutes by car, from my house, you are in the Wellington CBD with all the amenities the city offers. I am a retired school teacher. I am active in my local community and do voluntary work. One of the things my family are passionate about is the environment and we all belong to a riparian...

* Available from March 2026. Minimum one month stay. Thanks! * We're a Kiwi family of four (an economist/researcher, a social worker/therapist and two primary/intermediate school aged children). We spent 2020 in France and we're looking for someone who can help the girls maintain their language skills and share knowledge of French culture. Failing that, I have spent a few years in Japan and would love to pass on knowledge of the language and culture to the kids as well, so a Japanese person would also be good. We're looking for someone who can meet the kids at school four days a week and keep an eye on them till we finish work (roughly 3pm-6pm) during term, or some longer days during the holidays. They're nice kids and reasonably well-behaved (most of the time). Offering accommodation and evening meals, especially if you're keen to share the cooking some nights. Can put you in touch with our past Helpers if you’d like to know more about us, the local area etc. Our place is a fair...

Hello my name's Linda. I am a Queens English speaking intelligent lady, in her early 60's. Animal LOVER.

Looking for Helpers right through busy summer and autumn months. Plenty going on during summer, shearing, stock work, fencing, weed control, garden tidying, lawn mowing, lots of tractor driving etc. It would be great to have some strong keen helpers to help fix fences and do some building work. Our family of 4 (2 kids - 16 & 18 years old) live on a beautiful sheep and beef farm with large woodland garden and organic vegetable garden. We need help with stock work, general farming tasks, gardening, cooking etc. We're 40 minutes from Nelson, 15 minutes from Motueka. It's an idyllic rural setting with excellent access to rivers, mountains, mountain biking, Abel Tasman & Kahurangi National Parks etc. with easy access to some of the best fly fishing rivers in NZ (and the world!) There's 4-6 hours work per day depending on tasks. Plenty of flexibility to work full days and have plenty of time off to explore.

Beaumont is situated on State Highway 8 on the West side of the Beaumont Bridge and is halfway between Dunedin and Central Otago. We leased the Hotel and Holiday Park for 5 1/2 years and...

We are a warm and welcoming family living in the beautiful countryside of Gironde, France. Our home is full of life – we have three wonderful children, five horses, five friendly sheep, and three playful dogs. We love sharing our way of life with travelers who enjoy nature, animals, and family spirit. There is always something happening here – from planting trees to making the many renovation projects for the property cole to life, to simply enjoying good food and conversations together. We look forward to meeting new friends from around the world, exchanging cultures, and creating memories together.

There'...

We...

UPDATE: NOT AVAILABLE TILL APRIL (MAYBE MARCH) 2026 - ideally for a minimum of a month. (or you can stay for a shorter time for $150 plus 5 hours of home help) THANKS __________________________________ Hi there If you'd like to experience central leafy Auckland in a safe area, then our home is the right place to stay. We live in Westmere, which is an inner-city suburb surrounded by cafes, amenities, and parks. It is very safe and a lot of professionals live here. 5-10 mins walk to the supermarket, bus, cafes. Half-hour walk to the beach, 45 mins walk to downtown city (or quicker by bus). It is a very popular and green area. We're offering a furnished room in a 3-bed house which includes bills (water, gas, electricity, unlimited broadband) but not food. We have our own bathroom, so the main bathroom is yours most of the time. We have a kitten here - we haven't got one yet but we might so I need someone who is careful about closing the door. I'm quite busy at the moment so I'm ve...

Come out check out beautiful NSW South Coast. Scott and Jax have a well appointed 3 bedroom cottage - 2 queen beds near beautiful Jervis Bay where you can stay in exchange for work on our land. We are 2.5 hours south of Sydney, 2.5 hours from Canberra, 15m from Nowra and 10m from the coastal town of Huskisson. We are close to many beautiful beaches, kayaking and snorkelling spots, and Jervis Bay and Booderee national parks. Best if you have your own transport. Our property is on 8 acres and we share the land with resident kangaroos, chickens and the many native birds. We also have a resident emu who escaped from the local emu farm. Scott is a musician and gardener and Jax teaches online. We are well travelled nature lovers who made the tree change from Sydney 4 years ago. We mainly need help with gardening tasks. You need to be fit : ) Scott is a gardener and you will be helping him. Gardening experience will be highly regarded. We can offer accomodation only. We are thinking ar...
