We are a couple from Austria and we live since january 2014 in the middle of the Swedish nature together with around 25 Alaskan Huskies. Our farm is in the middle of now-where at the beginning of Swedish Lapland and you can expect a lot of nature, lakes, woods and a lot of wild animals like bears, lynx, moose, reindeers and many different kind of birds. You can help us with training and feeding the dogs, cleaning the kennels. In wintertime there is also help needed with snow shoveling. You should speak german or have at least B1 with your english skills and you should also be able to work sometimes alone. There is plenty of spare time, to explore the nature and the surrounding. You should be at least 18 years old, a teamplayer, love to be outside, it is not necessary that you have knowledge about dogs or in special about sleddogs. You will get all the information from us. What we offer is accommodation in a cabin with bathroom and toilet. And you will get groceries which you can ...

Our community is a colorful, international bunch of nice people, with Austrian, Middle Eastern, Polish, and German roots and many international friends from all over the world. Feri (43) and Lise (50) currently live here permanently. The children, Layla (12) and Aisha (10), visit us regularly on weekends and during holidays. Natalia (30) and her two children, Maja (11) and Damian (7), also come by from time to time when they are not traveling in their camper van. Feri's cousins visit us regularly to enjoy time together and prepare delicious oriental food! We also have many other visitors (friends, helpers, and family) from all over the world. We have a big family and a lot of friends who come from all over the world to visit. We sometimes have family events and could use an extra hand getting things ready—whether that's preparing rooms or other bits and pieces. Don't worry, we don't have paying guests; all our visitors are family and friends. We're living the dream here in Lower Austr...

** Immediate start :) Looking for a couple or 2 friends from 12th or 13th December for a week, maybe more. You will need your own vehicle. ** ** Jobs include pet sitting (pets are chickens, goat and sheep), caring for the lawns and weeding. ** ** If suitable and if you are happy to, you may stay longer to help with some of the building jobs I have planned for summer. ** My daughter and I live rurally in a very friendly and quiet community, close to the centre of the village with sports grounds, saleyards, service station, club house etc. We have ornamental gardens and some fruit trees, 1 friendly dog, 4 chickens, a little flock of pet sheep, a pet goat who is a bit mad but we love her to bits, and a good amount of native birds.

Next availability: April 2026 Hi there, I’m Leon. Through COVID, I saw how serious not having food self sufficiency could be, and started to think about agriculture. Currently, I work at a strawberry farm, invested in a vegetable farm, and just got started on a yuzu farm. The average age of farmers in Japan is at 69.2 (as of 2024) and is set to worsen. There is a serious lack of young people choosing to do agriculture. Your help will be truly appreciated by the farmers here. I started my learning journey in agriculture through volunteering, so I want to create similar opportunities for others to learn, and hopefully inspire people to choose agriculture. I will try my best to give you a meaningful experience during your time here! Please let me know if you have any other skills you can contribute! Where is this? Himeji city of Hyogo prefecture. Himeji city has a population of ~500k people, and is considered “inaka” or countryside by most Japanese people. You can get away from the hust...

Our volunteer program need help now. We run an off the grid and entirely self-sufficient yoga center nestled on a mountain in Spain. It is beautiful here, with no light or air pollution you can experience the peace of the mountain and enjoy the starry night sky. We have our own water supply, solar power and bio waste system, if you want to learn more about off the grid living then this is the place for you. We are remote off the grid mountain living and therefore we ask that volunteers are interested in simple living. Living on the mountain requires team-work and collaboration. Volunteers must be able to support one and another and work well together to create a happy and simple mountain home. You don't need previous experience, although, living off the grid on a mountain requires a certain amount of physical work. The work will be mainly gardening, repair work to our earthbag dome and general help. All jobs will be explained and we are always looking for the volunteers input a...

LOOKING FOR HELPERS NOW. In return for 4 hours help a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house. My sunny home sits atop a hill from which you will have a magnificent view of the township of Blenheim to Cook Strait and the hills of the North Island beyond. Of course if you would prefer to work a full day in order to have a day off in which you could explore the nearby Marlborough Sounds, cycle the wine trails, or walk or climb on any of the formed tracks in this area, that would be just fine. My 40 ha property is a sheep/beef farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is situated in the midst of vineyards in the Brancott Valley 13km from Blenheim (pop 30,000) which contests the annual sunshine record every year. Most of the wor...

Kia ora, I am can offer a sunny bedroom and ensuite with deck access, in 5 min walk from beautiful Narrowneck beach and easy access to all of Devonport Village, and quick ferry (15 minute) commute to Auckland CBD. The bus stop is at end of street. In return I require help with house maintenance, mainly painting (you need to have experience), outside garden walls and house touch up. (Nothing above ground level). There are no pets or children, I live alone, I will be working at home.. The location offers the best of Auckland summer to explore- beaches, ferries to islands in Hauraki Gulf, and the historic village of Devonport. Happy to share, guide you to the historic side of Auckland (if you wish suggestions). In return for 4 hrs of labour per day, accommodation and food provided. I will prepare dinner. It is not essential to do 4 hrs every day, if you wish to do a whole day, then take day to explore Auckland. I prefer if you work mornings (heat makes this wise).

Hello everyone! We are a French family and we welcome helpers throughout the year! A great variety of tasks at hand: interior decoration, barn conversion, garden, landscaping, paint jobs, carpentry, making pizza in the old stone oven...We are also looking for people who like to spend a little time with children! And we have two horses and a donkey, who are not technically ours but who live with us. So the choice of what you do will also be yours! We live in a large and comfortable farmhouse near the medieval city of Poitiers. Many attractions close by: we are 15 minutes from the Vallée des Singes (a huge park with monkeys running free), 1 hour from La Rochelle and the seaside, and 30 minutes from the famous Futuroscope, ... We are trying to get an organic garden (permaculture) going, and are renovating some of the buildings on our land to host artistic workshops one day soon. One of our last jobs was to roof an old stone oven building, insulate the roof in the barn, do the floors...

We have a property located within walking distance of Fremantle centre near the river , grocery stores and public transport as well as a local coffee strip. You would have the whole house self-contained with kitchen and bathroom. The helping exchange arrangement would be helping with repairs, landscaping, painting etc. Fremantle cottage is on quarry st if you want to check location. It would be useful if you have had some experience with painting and renovation as we are trying to bring a property in for a sale this year. it would suit someone who would like some peace and quiet because it lacks entertainment facilities such as stereos and TVs at the moment. We also have a beach house south of Fremantle and you could have an opportunity to stay there for trips to the islands, surfing and fishing. 2 hours a day would be fine and although food is not provided shopping is handy. Late news… the property has been sold and we will be required to move out before Christmas so the most we can g...

Our farm is up for sale, so work is lighter, mostly weeding, cleaning, and property tidy-ups. Usually, it’s just you, us, and the animals, so it’s a relaxed, family-style experience. We typically start at 8am or by arrangement and ask for about 4 hrs of help per day You’ll stay in your own private air-conditioned container accommodation next to our home, share meals, enjoy the spa pool, BBQ area, and explore with our e-bikes. A vehicle is recommended as there’s no public transport, Richmond (shops, cafes) is 5 mins away, Nelson 20 mins. We love positive, proactive people, good cooks, and anyone who enjoys sharing food, music, and stories. Check out our reviews below.

Kia ora If you'd like to work amongst lovely trees and flowers, stay in a cute cabin with a beautiful view and private verandah, swim in a pool and eat home-cooked meals, you might like a week's stay at Apata Gardens. We have a small flower farm in the sunny Bay of Plenty, between Tauranga and Katikati. The flower farm is set amongst the trees and gardens of our two acres, which has spectacular views out to sea and across to the Kaimai ranges. My husband has a small olive grove, we have a wide range of fruit trees and grow seasonal vegetables. Our little guest cottage (see the attached photos) has a bedroom, bathroom and private verandah, and we provide all your meals. We also have a swimming pool. If you have some gardening, horticulture, landscaping or similar experience, or would like to learn, we'd love you to come and stay with us. We are looking for help in our garden - jobs like edging garden beds, applying mulch, pruning shrubs and weeding. I'm happy to share my gardenin...

We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). Accommodation would take form of a fully insulated cute tiny garden room with access to undercover cooking area and bathroom. IT is small so please See photos. On week days we are usually working it Perth so we cant provide meals, but a well-stocked supermarket is 200 metres away. We average 2/3 hours a day painting, plumbing gardening and other repairs and can negotiate best time to do that, for example maybe it’s more convenient to do two longer days during the week. Free coffee, tea and a simple breakfast (i.e. Cereal, toast) usually available. When you email please let us know when you plan to get to Perth and how you are travelling (flying in, driving or bus etc.). If you are already in Perth, where you are staying and how long you...

A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

Kia ora! I’m Cherie — a friendly, down-to-earth Kiwi mum of two, living just 5–10 minutes from the stunning Mangawhai surf beaches, bush walks, cafés, and weekend markets. After years of living on a larger self-sustainable farm, I’ve now relocated to a smaller home base where I’m building a simpler, slower, and more connected life — and I’d love a hand along the way! Hola todas! My place is an old grain mill with half a hectare of land. I live here for more than 17 years and hosted manyn volunteers. Work is mostly in the garden. Weeding, digging, planting, watering, harvesting and off course eating. There is a big cat family living on the land. Help in the kitchen is welcome. Special dietary requirements must be met by the helpers. In the area there are many activities possible. More yoga teachers than there are yoga students. Meditations, dancing, healing, massage, channeling, singing,....! Many communities of all sorts (hippy, midwives, subud, soefie). Hiking in all directions. Even skiing starting beginning of December. I try to keep a healthy environment, so no drugs that cloud your spirit. No dogs either. People mostly stay between one and two weeks. Work is about 5 days a week, 4 hours a day. Food and lodging included. Flexible. Work depends on peoples abilities. Any questions? Always happy to explain! Ruud

Come and experience life on a working cattle, seed and hay property. We run 300 head of cattle on our 560 Ha home farm, set in a beautiful valley. Join in with us as we work around the property, including tasks such as mustering, stock work in the cattle yards, fencing and machinery and vehicle maintenance. Come and see what we do with the seed and hay we grow. You might like to have a go at cleaning and bagging grass seed or coming along for the drive when we deliver hay. We rely on 4WD motor bikes and tractors for many tasks and may take the time to train you how to use these safely. Apart from experiencing farm life, we look for help in our garden and vegetable garden, as well as odd jobs in and around the house. We take care to work with safety in mind at all times and take the time to explain safety to our guests. Travel insurance is recommended. We are a friendly family of three and enjoy sharing our home with visitors, especially at meal times. A separate and spacious guest are...

🏡 Stay in a Unique Wildlife Sanctuary near Currumbin Beach – Help with Gardening, House Projects & More I’m Deborah, and I live in a peaceful bushland home on the ridge in Elanora, on the beautiful Gold Coast (Southeast Queensland). The property is part of a koala sanctuary — wallabies regularly visit the backyard, and if you’re patient, you might spot a koala in the treetops. You’ll definitely hear them at night! Despite the natural setting, we’re only a 5-minute drive from Currumbin Beach and close to local shopping centres, bushwalks, weekend markets, and iconic surf spots. 🌿 About the Stay: I’ve recently moved back into my home and am still getting everything properly set up after a long and difficult few years dealing with insurance and rebuilding. The house is a work in progress — but a beautiful one — and helpers have always been welcome here. Sleeping arrangements currently include inflatable bedding, and there are still some basic household things being sorted out. Most gu...

Hi, we are a young couple with a great spot in central New Plymouth right by the waterfront walkway & Belt Rd surf break. We have a lovely suite which is normally used for AirBnB or family (queen bed, kitchenette and bathroom, plus nice outdoor patio). We currently have lots of available time from late-January to April. We moved to Taranaki because we live its relaxed vibe & the outdoor adventures right on your doorstep. We’re keen bikers, surfers & hikers although have recently had a baby which has slowed us down a bit! We’ve got bikes you’re welcome to use and would be keen to share our love of the local outdoors with you. We’ve lived overseas & done lots of travel so keen to help other travellers. Happy to help with transport to/from hikes etc and we’re walking distance to downtown and bus stop just around corner so it could be a good option for people without a car. In exchange for the above we are looking for help with gardening and landscaping - all outside work and no heavy l...

I have a house with a 0.25ha garden that is part of a larger community . We are about 10 mins drive, or an easy hitch, from Byron Bay (and all its tourist attractions); Brunswick or Mullumbimby and 2 mins from the beach. I`m always glad of help with my 1/4 ha - projects like building the vegie garden; trimming back the ever enroaching bush, or projects around the house. The arrangement is 2 hours in exchange for accommodation (14 hours a week), looking after your own food but sharing our kitchen. Gondwana, the larger community that Lotus Ponds is part of, is about 50 people with a community house and hall with weekly community dinner and meditations, yoga, table tennis & pool tables with levels of activity that depend on who is here. The people living here change more often than I update this ! But typically are inspired by some combination of Dance (5Rhythms, Open-Floor, Contact); Permaculture; Surfing; Osho; Personal Growth; Cooking; Music and Nature; in the rest of Gondwana ...

Hello, We are a French couple living in the small village of Loubieng in Béarn. We are Anaïs and Arnaud, 38 years old. Anaïs works in ecopsychology and ecology. Arnaud is a cabinetmaker, joiner, and carpenter. We both play music :). Arnaud is renovating our future home: an old 19th-century Béarnaise farmhouse, and we are inside, working on the ceilings. We would be delighted to welcome a person or a couple to help us with this step because the work alone is not feasible! The tasks are physical, so we are preferably looking for someone physically capable of carrying plasterboard. A good portion of the placo has been installed, there's still a little left to do, and then there's the installation of the battens and wood wool insulation. Arnaud has already been a trainer in eco-construction and enjoys teaching. In exchange of 4hours daily work from monday to friday, we will offer you a quiet space in a comfortable caravan as well as breakfast and lunch, mainly organic and local. Do n...

My partner (Drew) and I (Maia) have a lovely home on 3 acres, on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands in Queensland (popular for its incredible climate, nature, waterfalls, swimming holes, lakes, tourist attractions, etc.) We are delighted that many wallabies live here too. 😍 Our average age is 63 (young at heart!) We have accumulated knowledge and wisdom that we are happy to share. Drew is a wonderful gardener and handyman. The home on the Sunshine Coast that he sold in 2023 had a brilliant, abundant garden/food forest that he created from a bare block. He's keen to create another magical, food-producing garden in Millstream too - chemical-free, of course. (There are 50 spray-free Bowen mango trees here already!) However, while he has done some things, there's a lot of other things to get sorted first as a higher priority. He is very practical and his talents are creative and diverse, like designing and building things, solar know-how and ingenious solutions to assorted challenges. ...

Please post photo of yourself. It is a lovely home atmosphere. Own room, double bed and couch. I have a large standard male black poodle who loves everyone. You must love dogs, and small female version of the bigger one. So two dogs. I adore them, as if you love dogs, they will love you back. Just need those who can handle normal life! I’m into current affairs and am centre right! I am older, but not a weakly older! Cooking, sharing experience and recipes, even better. The work here is garden maintenance, pruning and lawn mowing, weeding, and some cleaning in the home. Please use your own initiative! If you see leaves, sweep them up. I have a blower so that’s easy too. If the bench is dirty wipe it. If there are dishes, rinse and put in the dishwasher. That type of thing. If you have a car, there is off street safe parking for you. .Accommodation in return for garden maintenance and some house work. You will have time for yourself. We can do the shopping...

Our community is a colorful, international bunch of nice people, with Austrian, Middle Eastern, Polish, and German roots and many international friends from all over the world.

We are trying to get an organic garden (permaculture) going, and are renovating some of the buildings on our land to host artistic workshops one day soon. One of our last jobs was to roof an old stone oven building, insulate the roof in the barn, do the floors...

We are looking for a couple or two friends to stay for a couple of weeks or more if agreed. We are maintaining our property for sale and we need to keep in condition. There is work removing trees, tidying up the garden and removing debris from the fires and recent storms. There is also cleaning work helping Cate with property management. During free time you are welcome to borrow our electric scooters and go swimming and exploring. We live in Mallacoota, one of Australia's most beautiful places on the southeast coast.

I’m a qualified naturopath, life coach and massage therapist with a deep love for nature, soulful conversations, organic gardening, emotional wellness, and conscious living. My two beautiful children keep life full, and while I juggle parenting and work, I welcome help around the home and garden to keep everything flowing. Help Needed: • General gardening and weeding • DIY projects or light building tasks • Property maintenance and painting • Childcare or play support • Animal care (we still have a few furry and feathered friends!) • Cooking, cleaning, or organizing if that’s your strength About Our Home: We share our s...

Most gu...
