*** end of february 2026 *** i need a house and cats keeper during 8 days !!!! Experiment the French countryside in a modern house Hi Champagne travelers ! I’m a Valérie, 60 yo and I live by myself in a modern home in the countryside of the “Marne” 45min away from Reims and 10min away from Châlons-en-Champagne I have 2 adult daughters, one leaving in Lille in the North of France and the other traveling and being a helper abroad ! I have a large plot of land around my house, a small orchard and a lot of shrubs and plants. I’ve rented my daughter’s room on airbnb for several years so I'm used to welcome people in my house but as I live alone sometimes it’s hard to take care of the property by myself and that’s why I would be keen on welcoming from time to time some helpers ! I prioritize short stays of 1 or 2 weeks - mainly during march, april, october, november. Or house keeping when iam traveling. You would stay on the first floor with your own room and bathroom and we share the re...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

We live on a small hill farm in the beautiful county Wicklow known as the garden of Ireland. We are a family of four. Becky and Kilian and our daughters Zoe (11) and Bea (8). Fiona (18) is also staying with us this year as an au-pair. We are quite remote so it is very serene and peaceful and the view is amazing. We speak English and German as well as French. We farm organically and have 15 free range organic pigs as well as 2 horses and 5 cats. We also have a poly tunnel and farm garden where we grow vegetables for our own use. Becky works from home and Kilian when he is not farming, has an additional part time job which calls him away on projects from time to time. We live 1km outside a little village called Redcross. It has a pub that brews its own beers and there is also a restaurant, snack bar and shop. We are 20 minutes to drive from a town called Arklow which is on the sea and there is normally a chance to get a lift in but it’s only a 1 hour cycle. Wicklow is a cool part of t...

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. As a sculptor and a farmer I have space and ideas and would love people to come and get creative with us. From landscape art with diggers to large metal sculptures or wood burning sauna or whatever ideas we have, we have various small woodlands on our farm that we would love to keep adding to. Once a year we may get a group of us together so feel free to get in touch to see when that is? Also we may be able to host self sufficient projects other times too. Accommodation can likely be in our large old black and white farmhouse on our farm with your own simple cooking facilities with hobs and oven. Shared meals and shared cooking sometimes possible.

Thanks to all the helpers that have given us a hand. We close for the Winter months and look for help again in March 2026. So if you are self motivated and planning ahead, send us a message and we will get back to you. We are in the countryside, a bus passes our gate 3 times a day. There are a few bicycles to borrow. Lovely walks through the Woods. Take a day trip to see Cliffs of Moher, visit Galway. Listen to Irish music in one of our local pubs. You can help out in the Garden, chopping wood, watering plants and vegetables to light domestic duties. When we get time we get more creative as it's a big property and there is always something to do. You will live in your own quarters with other volunteers. Food is included. Also WIFI. The day typically starts at 11am and finishes 4pm with a break in-between. Two days off to go and explore the area. We prefer to get people for a minimum of 3 weeks stay. Let us know if you are interested and message us with your profile.

My partner (Drew) and I (Maia) have a lovely home on 3 acres, on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands in Queensland (popular for its incredible climate, nature, waterfalls, swimming holes, lakes, tourist attractions, etc.) We are delighted that many wallabies live here too. 😍 Our average age is 63 (young at heart!) We have accumulated knowledge and wisdom that we are happy to share. Drew is a wonderful gardener and handyman. The home on the Sunshine Coast that he sold in 2023 had a brilliant, abundant garden/food forest that he created from a bare block. He's keen to create another magical, food-producing garden in Millstream too - chemical-free, of course. (There are 50 spray-free Bowen mango trees here already!) However, while he has done some things, there's a lot of other things to get sorted first as a higher priority. He is very practical and his talents are creative and diverse, like designing and building things, solar know-how and ingenious solutions to assorted challenges. ...

We currently welcome handy and strong persons to help us with restoration, building, carpentry and more. There could also be scraping and painting. Life here is physically quite demanding, so we do need persons who are fit and enjoy an active life. Volunteers coming here should be interested in a self sustainable life at the edge of the ordinary comfort zone. We are looking for responsible persons. This is a lighthouse on a small island in the Arctic part of Norway and we would love to welcome you if you have the relevant background to help us out! The lighthouse premises are the only buildings on the island. This is a non-profit organization in the process of turning the lighthouse into a special guest place. We are off grid and self sufficient with water, energy & boat transport. Elena and Frode are your hosts at the lighthouse. After selling our farm we have moved to a beautiful 40 acre block on the boundary of Mount Aspiring National Park. Makarora is a small settlement, 60km north of Wanaka, on the way to Haast and the West Coast. Helper tasks include help maintaining the surrounding native bush, care of the chooks, ducks, dogs and house cows. I need a Helper to be motivated, willing to take a turn with the cooking and other household chores. There is a perfect opportunity for a competent and trustworthy Helper to look after things when I am away for a few days every now and then. Own vehicle a definite advantage. Stunning mountain and bush scenery, plenty of places to explore, including nearby Lakes Hawea and Wanaka. Blue Pools only 8km away. ps if you are a critical thinker / freedom person, please feel free to mention this in your application. "If everybody makes a difference, the world will be different" - Owen Geiger... Our project is located outside a little village in the northeast of Thailand. Well off the beaten track of tourism we offer an opportunity for everybody to join in a fascinating project where we combine vipassana meditation, yoga, natural building and ecological gardening (especially permaculture) to a system of personal growth and care for nature. We want to show that the path inside and sustainable living can be very lively, joyful and fun. We rock the garden! Our project is deeply rooted in the Thai community, so you can experience an authentic insight into Thai culture and really be part of it. Our teacher is the Abbot of a Monastery in the nearest city and as such, living mindfully and observing the Buddha`s teaching is very much at the heart of this project. We have a deep connection with the village monastery and the Buddhist community and enjoy sharing in ceremonies and festivals together. Each ...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

I live with my 2 children and dog in an old house in a beautiful part of North Wales. My children are home educated, they are 5 and 8. They love meeting new people, cycling, playing games, arts and crafts, sport. We live on a hill above a village, there is a shop/ post office in the village, and a community centre offering some groups and classes. We are close to the town of Llangollen which has a canal, railway, ruins of a castle, unesco world heritage sites, river and historic house, along with nice cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops. Chirk Castle is also close. There are lots of opportunities for walking, cycling and site seeing in the valley. We are about 1.5 hours from Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool for your city fix, as well as Snowdonia and the North Wales coast. We are 45 minutes from the historic cities of Chester and Shrewsbury and half an hour from Oswestry or Wrexham. There is limited public transport. I am looking for some help with housework, cooking, playing with ...

We have an organic farm at Oldcastle where we host Wwoofers too. There we have lots of different roles from house keeping to vegetable gardening, foraging, admin, cooking, animal husbandry, sewing carpentry building work etc. Tasks vary and very much depend on ability and skill sets At our location in Dunshauglin we are only looking for help with housework cleaning and childcare and sometimes gardening. We ask for 5 hours 5 days a week. Accommodation in Dunshauglin is in a comfortable apartment beside our home while in Oldcastle it’s in mobile homes. I have started to use Helpx to supplement Wwoofing as we try to have a greater mix of volunteers. Here I’m looking for candidates who have (ideally)been out in the world a while, who are taking a break or are looking for a change. We have had great success with people on career breaks in the past - as an example. Accommodation in Oldcastle is in 2 mobile homes that have a wood fired heating system - this may not suit everyone so a gen...

Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room has a double bed attached to the house with a private entrance. Applications for COUPLES or TWO people are open now. Opportunities for summer vineyard and winemaking work are available now, starting in January 2026. Couples with Visitor visas are also welcome. We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. If you have something you are passionate about and want to share with others, we would love for you to run a workshop. One of the best things here is the variety of tasks you can do as a volunteer, which gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and discover what you enjoy doing most. Hi everyone, We are a busy farming family based in South Taranaki, milking 440 cows and sharing our farm with a bunch of chickens. We met 10 years ago, when I was travelling New Zealand as a backpacker, and we've loved hosting travelers ever since. We have three energetic boys who adore the outdoors. Life here is active and relaxed- you'll often find us outside riding motorbikes on the farm, heading out for walks, or exploring the area with the kids on their bikes. We're really looking forward to welcoming travelers again, hearing your stories, and giving our boys the chance to meet people from different cultures. At the moment, we'd appreciate help with jobs such as weed spraying on the farm and getting the gardens sorted. You'll be staying in a spacious 6 bedroom home with unlimited wifi and you'll have your own private bedroom with bathroom. There is loads to see and do around us- we're just 10 minutes from town and the bach, Tawhiti museum is nearby and the mountain tracks are...

Frode is a carpenter and Elena takes care of the admin and leads the activities in the kitchen. We welcome strong and experienced volunteers who are ready t...

It is very refreshing to share my days with like minded folk, especially if you are part of the spiritual awakening in addition to being awake to the global ag...

Hi, I’m Annie :) Thanks for stopping by! Looking for help *** from now through January, 1 wk - 10 days work for a couple *** At the moment I'm looking for help with Spring cleaning in the house and garden work; mulching, light pruning, fertlising, tidying up garden and some indoor/ outdoor house work. Mostly this would be cleaning spider webs off gutters, garden maintenance and window/ blind cleaning, cleaning out pantry, kitchen cupboards, cleaning oven, etc. It would be useful is someone was confident with a drill and some very basic carpentry work, to hang some outdoor ornaments. I'm sorry but I can't help with 2nd Year Work Visas. I usually invite Helpers for 1 week and see how it goes. Own vehicle required. My home is in Dunsborough, part of the famous Margaret River Wine region in the South-West of Western Australia. Dunsborough is a beautiful, quiet coastal town, with great facilities.

I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is...

We have a combination of short-term and long-term volunteers and on average we have between 10 to 20 volunteers and resident...
