If you’re interested in helping on a beef cattle farm, cuddling foals and experiencing the Aussie farm life, you are most welcome here. We have a number of building jobs going at the moment so if you are handy with mechanics, metal, wood or a paint brush, that would be very helpful to us. Your daily tasks would be to feed the animals in the morning and evening, and caring for the mare and foal, gardening and general farm chores or in the household. There is always something to do. It would be great if you know how to drive a manual vehicle and you can learn to drive a tractor or a quad here. In exchange you can choose between a cozy room or caravan with everything inside that you need and I provide food for all your meals. You prepare your own breakfast and lunch and in the evening we have a home cooked dinner together. We also have unlimited WiFi and a car that you can use to visit the local area. Very expensive! But she did have health insurance!). We love our HelpXers and will definitely treat you like family while you are with us. The HelpX bedroom is a ‘sleepout’. It’s a room in my workshop, which is 10 metres from our house. The bedroom is BASIC. NOT luxurious. Just a very plain , newly painted bedroom with two beds. My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities in their lives. I would like to welcome any fluent English speakers under the age of thirty to assist my teachers in the classroom. You would help immensely by having simple conversations with the students and providing them a real English speaking experience inside or outside the classroom. All the students are very welcoming and curious about my visitors, and I am certain that you will have a great experience while interacting with them. You can expect to answer all their questions, pose for pictures, and be invited...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...

Namaste! My name is Dipendra, I’m a 28 year old Nepali man with a passion for nature, culture, and sharing the beauty of my country. I’ve been working in trekking and guiding for many years, and now I invite you to be part of our simple, peaceful life in the countryside of Nepal. As a volunteer, you’ll stay in my family home with me, my wife, our young son, and my parents. You’ll become part of our daily life—helping with small tasks like gardening, cooking, taking care of animals, or even teaching basic English to my little boy. No special skills are needed, just a good heart and willingness to connect. In addition to the homestay experience, I also love to take guests on short treks and nature walks in the beautiful hills and forests near our village. I’ll guide you to hidden spots that only locals know, and share stories about the land and culture along the way. This is a chance to truly experience Nepali life from the inside—sharing meals, traditions, laughter, and local knowled...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

We would love a bit of help with our projects. We are an energetic couple with grown children. We are 15 minutes from down town Tauranga and we are converting our farm from forestry back to grazing. We love having a team of helpx helping us. We have a beautiful property with lovely river running through - in summer it is great for swimming or using the pizza oven which we have by the river! Tasks will be varied mainly farm work to perhaps some painting, gardening or cooking!. Plenty to do without getting bored any help would be wonderful. There is so much to do in our region - from mountain biking to surfing at Mount Maunganui and a quick trip over the hill to see Hobbiton or a day trip to Rotorua. You would need your own vehicle as we are in the country. We will supply a room in the house with your own bathroom. We will cook meals for you. We love having young people around. Ideally you would have a good sense of humour and be relaxed sort of people. Non-smokers please....

We are an operating farm. Mostly silviculture. We farm mostly trees. We are situated in one of the largest Cork Tree areas in the world.Mediterranean forest ecoystems are considered one of the most important ecosystems right after Virgin Forests. We also have lots of pine trees both for lumber and also for pine nuts. Cork and pine nut trees are a very sustainable resource as their lifespan is over 200 years and they produce cork and pine nuts during that time. Kiaora, Shalom and hello to you!!! Our home is queer, arty and vegan, we are a quirky Kiwi married female couple living with 5 small dogs and 2 mini horses. We live rural near a town called Warkworth, 50 minutes drive ( by car ) north of Auckland CBD. ***Note, we are rural, so walking to town is possible but a tad dangerous and takes about 40 mins. If you are wanting to do things off the property outside work hours, having a car is essential otherwise just understand you’d mostly just be staying here as it’s not close to walk places :) *** We have hosted many people all over the world for over a decade now!!! lots from Germany, France, Israel and so on. We love meeting new people and potentially making new friends who just LOVE boardgames especially! :) We are: Jasmine 45 and Sharyn who is 48. We are both currently designing board games. Sharyn is a dog groomer from home ( separate building ) and Jasmine works from home. Note… One of us smokes medical cannibis inside and we a...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

It is berry season and would be great to have some extra help🌻 We have a small berry orchard and vegetable gardens with roaming Guinea fowl, friendly kangaroos and our cute indoor house cats. The rest of the property is natural woodlands and we try to live as sustainably as possible. We have built our own unique home and there are still some parts to complete. Helpers with some skills are welcome but an actual interest in experiencing a more sustainable life during your stay with us is more important. We don't take bookings in advance but if you are ready to come help now or soon contact us. All your meals are provided and we eat together to plan our day. We are located on the edge of a small country town of Blayney in NSW, 3 hours w...

We a full and do not have any availability until JANUARY THE 12 th 2026. Before you read our profile... please be aware that if there are two people applying, BOTH people must be members of HelpX. (couples or friends who are joint members are fine). You also must have HEALTH INSURANCE. I’d like to see evidence of that when you arrive (our recent HelpX got sick and ended up in hospital here. There is a toilet in the sleepout / workshop but the showers are inside our home. If you are really fussy about your bedroom, please don’t apply. You ARE welcome to spend as much time as they like in the house with us. In summer, you’ll want ...

We have a property/lifestyle block with 2 kids (sometimes home if it’s the Uni holidays), my Mum, 9 chickens. 5 ducklings and a cat. We have been here 15 years and have been busy planting the orchard, pond, fruit and nuts etc. using the theories of permaculture. We work from home (office work) and need help outside primarily on the land. At the moment this is gardening, weeding, mulching, making a duck run. In exchange for your work we will provide food and accommodation. Food is usually super healthy. Accommodation is a small cabin on our lake (double bed only) heater, and spectacular views over the lake. Nestled In the trees next to the spa. We are 30 minutes from downtown Auckland, 5 minutes from Muriwai beach. Limited public transport out here, but a bus comes out from the city - The 125!. Looking for guests for around a week, this varies, we are flexible. Ideally looking for two people and ideally with outdoors experience! Thats us. Get in contact. Cheers Gendie & Ti...
