Minimum 2 weeks stay! We are now accepting helpers from May 1st. for the 2026 season. We need help with firewood making this spring along with establishing the vegetable plot for the season. Hello! :-) We are Hanne 54, Kjetil 56 and Ferno 2 (dog). We have resently relocated to our new farm situatet in the lovely hills of Gausdal, a valley just Northwest of Lillehammer. We are looking forward to developing the farm to support us with all of our needs, energy (solar and hydro), food (vegetables and livestock) and building materials from the forrest. We have had the pleasure of the company of helpers on our previous farm on the westcoast of Norway and we would like to continue that tradition in our new location. We are looking for helpers with special interest in forrestry work, logging, firewood making, cooking, trditional woodworking and wood/timber construction this coming winter. I (Kjetil) have already started felling trees for timber and firewood making. I am also in the proc...

Namaste! Thank you for stopping by. :-) I hope you will join me on my journey for a month, 2 months, or long-term. I have a pair of picturesque, riverfront hobby farms, each with a large 4-bedroom house. I am transitioning the farms to more of a communal space. There are three acres of wild blueberries that I am currently converingt to organic production, six acres of pasture, and about eight acres of woods that provide more than enough firewood to heat both homes without having to clear-cut any areas. I have a small herd of alpacas and an even smaller flock of chickens, whom I allow to free range. We harvest a small portion of our food from the property, and my vision is to increase that slowly and steadily every year. For a long-term (and possibly lifetime) stay, I would particularly interested in these 3 individuals: 1. Someone to manage the livestock, including monthly shots for the alpacas 2. Someone to process and market the alpaca fibre 3. Someone to manage the little antiq...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

We are a small-scale, organic vegetable farm in Palmer, Alaska. We grow an array of beautiful produce which includes carrots, tomatoes, strawberries, zucchini, brussel sprouts, romanesco, broccoli, potatoes, rhubarb, onions, beets, and many more. All of the vegetables we sell at local farmers markets are grown by us and are free of pesticides, GMOs, and chemicals. We not only believe that people should feel connected to their food, but we also feel that it should be delicious, healthy, and accessible. Work on the farm varies by season. In the Spring we spend our time prepping the field, sewing seeds, growing transplants, cultivating those seeds in the field, weeding, and watering. As we move into summer and fall helpers will have the opportunity to harvest and sell the fruits and vegetables that have been growing the past few months at the local farmers’ markets.

This is a traditional family-owned farm which, after years of abandonment, is currently being re-imagined as a sustainable and environmentally-conscious community. Located just 3km from the beach, where the Pampa plain meets the rugged coastline of the Argentinian Atlantic. We are passionate about agriculture, surfing, music, travel, nature and the environment, who want to create a communal space where people from around the world can come to learn about sustainable living and ecological ideals; share delicious organic food from the gardens; surf; tell stories; share knowledge, ideas, culture and language; learn about farming, the environment, or just relax and enjoy the farm and surrounds. The project is in its early stages and we are looking for energetic and responsible individuals wanting to experience and contribute to rural life and communal living close to nature. We are looking for self-motivated individuals to help us out with daily tasks such as helping in the kitchen, kee...

WHO ARE WE? We are a French couple living in Brittany, in a small rural village in the beautiful Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. We live in a peaceful, natural setting, surrounded by hedged farmland, hiking trails, and wild spaces. On our 3,000m² property, we plan to gradually develop an eco-friendly and welcoming project: creating and maintaining a vegetable garden, planting and caring for fruit trees, landscaping green spaces, and installing educational ponds to promote biodiversity. Our goal is to increase our food self-sufficiency and create a vibrant, eco-friendly, and pleasant place to share. We are looking for a motivated WWOOFer to join us in these projects: soil preparation, gardening, maintenance, small DIY projects, and participation in the daily life of the property. No expert skills are required—a desire to learn, share, and work outdoors is all we need! We ask for 2 hours of tasks per day (tasks to be completed freely throughout the day). It is possible to complete tasks wit...

Hei ! Here is Ingunn and Mathieu. We are a Norwegian-French couple and since mai 2021 a happy family of three. Our family house "Karnes Gaard" is a farm since the 16th century. In 1912, Ingunn's grand father gave part of the land for the Tromsø county to build "Solhov", prestigious boarding school and largest wooden building north of Trondheim. When Ingunn took over the farm in 2009, running it organically felt something obvious. And when Solhov was for sale the next year, a dream became possible : sharing our love for the Lyngen Alps by hosting guests who seek breathtaking surroundings, healthy stay and organic local food, peaceful lifestyle and carbon-free activities. Our dream is to serve as much as possible our organic and local products to these guests. Originally we grow potatoes and strawberries. We are trying several small scale production to see what is possible to grow here up north. At the moment, we are focusing in : - increasing our honeybees park, hives and flowers -...

Hi, we are a family that lives in the south of Italy in the beautiful region of Puglia; in the countryside but not too far from the sea. We have a family-run business in the Cisternino countryside, with holiday homes for tourists, riding stables and recreational activities. Looking for a person who can help in various activities; really interested in the life of the campaign and learning different tasks such as: carpentry, wrought iron, construction, painting, maintenance of the garden and agriculture, but also request for help in the relationship and management of tourists who stay with us. Excellent opportunity for those looking for complete experiences in the field of crafts and tourism and in the relationship with nature and animals. Having 4 children already, we only look for completely independent and flexible people. Musicians and artists in general are welcome (Juan the owner is also a musician). There is a chance to learn how to work wood and iron and many other things. It's ...

I have a lovely natural building studio space, made of super adobe, that is used as a meditation/healing/sacred temple space, set in a lovely slightly wild permaculture garden, with a bee hive, flowers, veggies etc. The studio would be completely your own private space. I am happy to share some meditation/healing practices with you if you are interested. I would love help in the garden, with weeding, mulching, planting, harvesting and helping to make the garden creative, abundant, fertile and beautiful. Also need help going to the beach to collect seaweed for the garden beds. I would like to provide some meals, and have you be independent for some as well. I really like to meet and be social with helpers , and also to spend a lot of time in meditation and writing. I live in a little rural suburb near a beautiful mangrove area , and I am 40 minutes from wilsons prom, and less to other beautiful areas. A drivers license would be very helpful .

Hi My name is Paul. I am 57 years old and live on my own in a 4 bedroom house I built on my own almost 20 years ago. The house is on a half-acre property located in a small village community on the outskirts of Brisbane, close to large areas of forest. For more than 10 years I have been hosting couch surfers and decided to try helpx as it seems many people are interested in helping in exchange for staying longer. My place is not a farm, however I have a forested backyard. The land is steep with a lot of weeds growing. I have been undertaking bush regeneration, knocking back the weeds and planting trees. The bush attracts a variety of wildlife, including wallabies, echidna, bandicoots, scrub turkeys and a lot of different bird species. Help required may include, building paths, planting trees, watering trees and controlling weeds, depending on what guests are capable of and what they prefer to do. I think 3 or 4 hours work a day is enough.for people staying. My place is quiet and r...

MOST URGENT NEED: Someone who KNOWS land, soil, water as we are looking to acquire land in California to get things started! If you are a traveller, musicians, community-orientated...this could also be a great place for you I am a chef and musician, that's been traveling pretty much non-stop since I started....After 15 years of traveling, living in many refugee projects, squats, intentional communities, collectives, cooking for many community kitchens, staying in many farms and seeing what it is possible in this world....I have seen many things I have loved and many things that didn't quite work in my opinion...now I have a unique opportunity to start a community based on learning, sharing and helping each other (especially those that may not normally have access to such a privileged life-style) grow and learn through workshops and communal happenings. Right now I am in the extreme beginnings. I am looking for land, acquiring tools, equipment, ideas, networking. There is a lot of wor...

Helpers say this to be a good safe place to start your travels!! . Learn the wild life ,weather, slang or just Hit the reset button🤔😂 , Re boot , Recharge, Re focus & Re access. The area is often referred to as, 'The last frontier', due to the extreme weather & wildlife. We had a natural disaster with excessive flooding in December, 4895, disaster recovery program. Hi, my name is Sylvia and I'm Dutch. After having lived for the majority of my life in cities I wanted to roam around with Helpx, so I did. However, I fell in love with the first place where I stayed, many years ago. A very small rural village in Bavaria, Germany, at the Czech border. I rented the huge house and intend to stay here, with my little dog, for the rest of my life. It’s a beautiful hilly area and the forests invite for long walks in which you may spot deer, lynxes, boars and other animals. Public transport ends in Weiden (train) or Lohma (bus), but I have a car, can pick you up and drop you off. Plenty to see within reasonable distance like Nuremberg, Regensburg, Munich, and Prague. Ski and snowboard centre at 7 km distance and lots of others a bit further away. In the holiday season, Christmas markets can be found everywhere. You will have your own room (with WIFI) and a shared bathroom, and you are welcome to the rest of the house too. I‘ll try to cook for you what you...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Kia ora Helpxers, It has been a great season for growth, with warm temperatures and regular rain. We would love some help to get our property/ gardens back into shape. We have a lot of hedges that require pruning, vegetable gardens that need weeding, berries which will need picking. We have Cedar cladding that is asking for oil, new decks that need a clean and pre - oil preparation. We have a landscape project waiting to begin, so If you feel that you have the experience, some skills and the enthusiasm to help with these projects, we would love to host and share our home with. you. Ideally, we would like two people - two friends or a couple. We ask for four hours of work in return for accommodation and 3 meals daily. We can be flexible; some people like to work an 8-hr day and then take a full day to go adventuring somewhere. In our home, the preparation of meals washing, dishes, general tidiness is shared between helpx and ourselves. and is additional to the 4hrs. At the end of ...

Countryside, near Atlántida, Uruguay. We’re a mature couple who work in the city and live on a small farm - a peaceful retreat from the urban rush. Our companions are a few horses and dogs. Most of them came to us from the rescued shelter and in poor condition. With time, care, and patience, we’ve helped them heal. Our farm isn’t a commercial venture; it’s simply a quiet, cozy place to live close to nature. We’re looking for a reliable helper - someone who’s interested in staying with us long-term. What we offer: - Private accommodation in a converted sea container, fully equipped with a gas stove, shower, refrigerator, and other essentials. - Groceries provided - you prepare your own meals. - Free internet access (limited). We can also offer guidance and support with the residency application process for those who wish to stay long-term. If you’re over 25, love animals, enjoy farm life, and consider yourself hardworking, responsible, and adaptable - we’d be happy to welcome you. ...

Hi, I’m Jo. I live in beautiful Coromandel town where I’ve created a small urban food forest based on permaculture principles. It’s a constantly evolving space full of fruit trees, edible plants and wildlife, and I enjoy sharing it with people who are interested in gardening, nature and simple living. I’m looking for 1 or possibly 2 to stay for a few days at a time (usually 3–5 days) and lend a hand with a mix of garden and household tasks. This might include food forest maintenance, light gardening, helping keep the space tidy, window cleaning or general housework. Nothing too heavy — just practical help to keep things running smoothly. You’ll be staying in my small, relaxed home and will have your own bedroom with a king single bed ( or if 2 come I will swap rooms and you would have a queen size bed). We share the bathroom and living areas. My home is right in Coromandel town, within easy walking distance to the shops, cafés and harbour, and only a few minutes’ drive to some beaut...

We are both retired and live in a converted barn in about two acres of land. The nearest town is Villefranche de Rouergue which is ten kilometres away. We have lived in France long enough to appreciate what we call proper food so. we strive to vary the diet so that no main meal is repeated for at least 14 days (unless specially requested) It may be French, it may be British, or it may be a mixture of French and British and on occasions you will taste the local delicacies We are very flexible about working hours all we ask is that in return for five hours work per day, five days a week, at a time to suit yourself, we will provide you with good healthy tasty food and a private comfortable room which has TV and en-suite facilities, If you are a couple who wish complete privacy, we could provide you with a separate self-contained apartment. Must be non-smoker and we find that feeding vegans is difficult. Please note. If you want to practice your English, then we are your ideal hosts a...

We are a semi retired couple living in Horse Camp near Gin Gin in Queensland looking for helpers (single or couple) to help around the property. The property is set in a typical 25 acres native Australian bushland, large dam and a creek flowing thru the property, there is a quaint cottage that we lived in for 2 1/2years that will become your home , we now live in our new house that we built which is completely off grid, we generate our own solar power and have our own water supply. At the moment we are in the process of landscaping the surroundings and working on final details, we are looking for helpers who likes to be outdoors and challenge themselves with different chores like assisting with landscaping , gardening, painting, and sit around the fire in the evening and chill. All task performed are tailored to your personal ability. Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...
