This is a certified organic macadamia nut orchard situated on 10ha in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park. We can pick helpers up from Swanson train station, which is 6km away. Having your own transport would enable you to explore the beautiful west coast beaches. Bethells Beach/Te Henga is 10km further down the road. Helpers activities are seasonal, and may include harvesting macadamia nuts in winter; processing the nuts; shelter belt maintenance; firewood splitting; weed grubbing and minimal gardening. We work alongside helpers and show you what to do. Please be aware that orchard work is physical, you will get dirty and there could be a few bugs! We request an average of 4 hours help per night stayed in return for food and accommodation. So that is 28 hours per week. However we aim to have a day off each week by working 2 x 6 hour days, or an 8 hour day. We can usually be flexible and also consider our helper's wishes. Work starts at 9am. We have a separate co...

Come Spend Some Time in the Coromandel 🌿 We have beaches, we have forests, and we have a very casual relationship with clocks. We’re a couple in our 40s–50s looking for people to share our piece of wilderness with. We have two somewhat manic cats, but we ourselves are fairly chill. Over the years we’ve tried a wide range of hobbies and crafts, from home brewing and cheesemaking to glass blowing and hang gliding (some more current than others!). We enjoy meeting creative people and giving everything a go. We’ve travelled through Scandinavia and Asia and look forward to travelling again, but for now we travel vicariously through our visitors’ stories — and love helping you make the most of your adventures in New Zealand. Our property is 26 hectares of regenerating native bush, with a stream, waterfalls, swimming holes, glow worms, and plenty of space to explore. We’re close to Whitianga, Hot Water Beach, and Cathedral Cove, yet the home itself is tucked into the forest where you can ...

We are on an 70 acre farm in North Pope County, Illinois and are virtually surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest. Having been on this farm for 13 years, we are still developing infrastructure and are continuing to plant in the orchard and various berries as well as establishing and expanding garden and crop areas. We are a GMO, herbicide and pesticide free farm in all of our outdoor areas. As we are far away from "modern agricultural" property, we feel that we should have no problems with cross pollination of our crops with GMO's or damage/exposure from/to ag chemicals. There are many projects currently in process or in the planning stages. This summer/fall we hope to get new water and electric lines ran to all the barns and the greenhouse as well as get a fiber studio framed in and get the finishing touches on the greenhouses. Tasks on the farm are endless, so there are always things to do year round. Clearing brush, cutting wood, building fence, baling hay, sawing lumber, ...

We prefer to hear from volunteers who wish to undertake longer postings, but will consider any request for 4+ weeks. We run a small, 4 bedroom guest house, in picturesque St Ives Cornwall, England, which has 4 stunning sandy beaches, fabulous coastal walks and a working harbour. Our guesthouse is very close to the surfing Porthmeor Beach - its truly an idyllic place to spend a month, or a whole season, volunteering. *** Spring is almost here and we are hosting again. We're firstly looking for helpers for about a week from Wednesday 1 September. Also please enquire about other dates over the spring and summer.*** Hello helpers, We've been Helpx hosts for almost a decade now, although we had a little break this past year. But we're back again and have lots to do around the house and garden. Des and I have enjoyed meeting so many new people from around the world. Looking forward to meeting more, helping them explore the area and at the same time, sorting out our garden and helping around the house. We are located in the countryside near Arrowtown among beautiful NZ scenery with views of the Whakatipu basin. Our home is situated on a one acre plot. By car, we are 5 mins to Arrowtown, 10 mins to Queenstown Airport and 20 mins to Queenstown. All pictures are from and in our home. Stays of up to ONE WEEK - SUNDAY to SATURDAY are our preference but we may also consider longer stays so just ask. Our unique property, 'Raintrees Native and Rainforest Gardens' is located just one kilometre from DIAMOND BEACH at Hallidays Point on the NSW Mid North Coast. Diamond Beach, Shelly Beach, and Redhead are within easy walking distance from the property, but we'll drive you to Black Head Beach and several other quiet secluded beaches which are just a short 5-minute drive away. Many of our guests like to walk back from Black Head Beach along the beach to our property. We'll also show you around Forster-Tuncurry, Taree, Harrington, and Crowdy Head and when possible, even as far north as Port Macquarie and south as far as Pacific Palms and Seal Rocks. Diamond Beach is located centrally in one of the most scenically beautiful (Average Temperature 26 Degrees Celsius) regions of Australia with the Myall Lakes, Smith Lake, Seal Rocks, and Pacific Palms one hour to the south and Lau...

I seek mature travellers who are travelling around the South West in their own Camper Van or Car with tent etc. Traveller/helpers need to be self contained but I provide access to clean toilet and shower facilities. I have some really nice set up camp sites here - the sites are private, clean, safe and located in beautiful natural bushland settings. If you would like to come, stay and help me here, please send me a message ! I can usually help traveller/helpers locate many other things.., like possible work services, free food services and access to various beaches etc. I like to show people how they can live on the land sustainably, how they can build their own sustainable homes and grow their own food...., using what is around them, to adapt to their environment and adopt permaculture principals to suit their own needs. I have lived on my own little permaculture farm beside the Leeuwin/Naturaliste National Park forest since 1982. I have built my own home using local granite s...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

Visit the Thames Coast on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula! Enjoy home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bikes, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter at The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops or hangout here and make art. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday, loving every second left ! However, we seriously need help with the massive task of 296: gardens to create & jungle to clear ! We are keen to host people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. When Debs & I started hosting in 2025 we moved to the sleepout making it possible to host he...

We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

My husband and I have 3 children-aged 10, 8 and 6. We live on a sheep and beef cattle farm close to Gisborne. We are ideally looking for a female to mainly help around the house and garden. Jobs would include: cooking, cleaning, help with kids if that is your interest. This could work for someone wanting to do bar work at the local restaurant or there is some horticultural work on farms nearby. We are happy to have to come and join in on farming activities. We shear our own sheep, muster on our hills and have lots of sheep jobs over summer. There is a horse available for a competent rider. We have 15+ dogs (mainly working dogs) so must be ok with dogs. Always plenty of puppies! We ask for 3-4hrs help per day for breakfast lunch and dinner. We have one bedroom separate from the rest of the house so plenty of private space. WIFI. We look forward to hearing from you. Gisborne is a beautiful part of New Zealand, it is relaxed with lots of beaches and nature. The summers are so warm...

We are a retired couple looking for help with projectis around the property. Some light construction might be involved,so carpentry skills would be helpful. We live on the banks of a world famous trout stream (White River) in the Ozark Mountains of North Central Arkansas. We have a neat cabin next door to our house that would be available. Work would involve working alongside Bill doing improvement projects around the property( fence building, painting the cabin, limb and brush removal and burning limbs as well as other outside jobs). We plan on working an average of 20 or so hours per week depending on the weather. We will provide lodging in the cabin and a couple of meals a day in exchange for your help. We have 2 large dogs and 2 cats, so loving animals would be helpful and if we had to be gone for a short time, you might be asked to care for them. I’m a single mum with shared custody of a wonderful 13 year old daughter, plus a little dog, looking for someone to join us from now and ideally stay for 6 weeks (or even longer). I am self-employed in an import/export business, and have a large house and garden, the care of which get away from me without assistance. The help needed is with day-to-day housework, and gardening. It's not hard, but with a house the size of mine it's too much for a single person with a busy business. Someone who’s a bit handy and could undertake a few little fix-it jobs would be an added bonus. I work full-time, and in the weeks my daughter with me I sometimes need assistance to get her to her various activities, so a full driver's license is required (although I can provide a car). My elderly mum occasionally needs to be driven places as well - she's a fun lady who provides vibrant and lively conversation. Last (but not least) is our dog, Bobbie. She is a gentle and easy member of the household, but...

We are located in the heart of Berlin, one of Europe's most exciting and diverse cities. With its vibrant cultural scene, world-class museums, historic landmarks, countless cafés, parks, and excellent public transport, Berlin is the perfect place to experience urban life while enjoying a welcoming home environment. I would kindly ask you to help with painting, fencing, gardening, sweeping leaves, cleaning and maintaining the house, as well as feeding and caring for the animals. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time. You will have your own private room, and I will provide breakfast and one warm meal each day. If you enjoy cooking in a holistic and nutritious way, you are more than welcome to do so. I am always happy to share my knowledge about healthy food and learn from others as well. I am not just looking for someone to help with daily tasks—I would like to offer a meaningful cultural exchange and create a positive experience together. If you are interested in me...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. (La description en français se trouve plus bas !) We are a small Buddhist community living in the forest close to Sainte-Julienne, Quebec. We have an organic fruit tree nursery, along with many other projects on our land: several fruit orchards, chickens and bees, growing our own vegetables and herbs and trying to be independent in many ways. The six people who are staying are: Ajan, Eric, Veronique, Elisabeth, Natalie and Camille. Each of us have arrived here one by one, at first just interested in helping out in the place, and then as we found that this lifestyle was for us, deciding to stay for longer. For part of the year we also have a couple of employees staying with us. There is also a wonderful dog named Dali. Our organic nursery and garden occupies a land of 9 hectares, surrounded by forest. As well as the main land of the nursery, we have another smaller land where a few of us live. This is, in fact, where the community started to grow from very small beginnings in the ear...

Hey hey HelpX'ers! 😊 I'm a 31-year-old Kiwi who has spent over five years travelling the world, visiting more than 60 countries and doing HelpX and working holidays in several of them. Those experiences were some of the highlights of my travels, so now it's my turn to return the favour and host! Our farm is a little slice of paradise. We're just 5 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from town, but tucked away enough to enjoy peace, quiet, beautiful sunsets, and some of the best starry skies you'll ever see. I'm hoping to welcome people who value kindness, respect, good conversation, and enjoying the simple things in life. My goal is to create an easy-going environment where work gets done, but having a great experience together is just as important. The work is a relaxed mix of farm, lifestyle, and general property jobs. We have cattle, sheep, chickens, our friendly cat Molly, gardens, an orchard, and there's always something different happening, so no two days are ever the same...

This is a horse-riding and outdoor adventure company nestled in the heart of the Alpujarras, on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada (Granada, Spain). We are looking for motivated helpers to assist with horse care, stable maintenance, and various tasks around the property including cleaning, repairing, taking care of the other animals. If you're a horse rider, you may help with horse treks as well. If you don't have your own transport, since we are situated in the Bubion village, you can access by foot a small supermarket & a pharmacy. There's also a bus line.

Hello, we currently only have availability from 8th September for up to 2 months 2026. Were quite flexible on leaving date. The accommodation is comfortable, with a double ottoman bed for added storage. We feel it’s best suited to either a solo applicant, 2 friends, or an established couples - who are happy to share the compact studio accommodation. We are flexible on timings and happy to discuss your preferred arrival and departure. Our helpers are only required to do room changeovers, ironing and basic gardening, as required.

PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. We have a vineyard that produces award winning wine (Chardonnay and Shiraz grapes), a eucalyptus tree plantation, a large garden (as well as a veggie garden) and a small flock of Dorper sheep, an alpaca, 3 horses and some chickens.

Welcome! Your choice: You can exchange two hours help a day for the room only, or you can work for 4 hours a day and we provide meals. We have a private spot close to town here, and are two friendly people, a little dog, and some chickens. Our quiet and green home is in easy and pleasant walking distance of Nelson city centre. It's like being in the country. There is also a bus just steps away, if you want to get into town quickly. This is a good mix - looking after trees, garden, house and each other; making music; preserving fruit, etc We - meaning us two, Ian and Eva - love WWOOFers who enjoy what we are doing, and want to be friendly and part of the family. Eva is a Homoeopath, Ian is an Engineer, we both love to sing, eat, and share good food, and have fun with friendly woofers. The house is surrounded by green hills, with some of Nelson's best bike tracks and walks right next to us. We love cooking and sharing meals. We can talk with you in English, French or German No Smo...

With over 30 years of experience, we organise horseback treks through some of Andalusia's most stunning and off-the-beaten-path landscapes. We are looking for motivated helpers to assist with horse care, stable maintenance, and various tasks around the property including cleaning, repairing, taking care of the other animals. If you're a horse rider, you may help with horse treks as well. You will have your own accommodation in a little house among the horses, with all the essentials (water, electricity, network, cooking facilities, etc). If you don't have your own transport, since we are situated in the Bubion village, you can access by foot a small supermarket & a pharmacy. There's also a bus line.
