We started our Vineyard back in 2004,it is located in a Beautiful,Quiet,Valley along the bluffs of the Mississippi River. We have five children that have now grown and moved out on there own. I just retired from a career of Process Instrument Work at the local power plant. I could use some help with the Vineyard and Gardens, but also enjoy fishing and boating on the river in the evenings and of course days off. We would be willing to supply your own bedroom, great meals and WiFi. We also have two Female Collies that love to get brushed and played with. The ideal person would have to be able to work on there own or in a small group, after some training of course to get you up to your comfort level, so as you basically understand what the goals might be for the time of year and tasks at hand, a five hour day,if the weather permits, is what we usually work . There might be a few longer days, but I`m sure that having time off to check out the area won`t be any problem. If you would care t...

Hey there! I’m Belle 👋 *****Looking for assistance 1st to the 8th March and 3rd to the 19th April. Welcome to my little slice of paradise in Manly, QLD-just 150m from the water! 🌊 It’s a beautiful, laid-back spot with plenty to explore. On weekends, you can stroll down the boardwalk to the local markets (just a 15-minute walk), soak up the coastal vibes, or check out some of the great bars and restaurants nearby. Getting around is a breeze, there are scooters, buses, and a train station just 200m away. A little about me: I’m an outgoing, fun-loving adventurer who thrives on meeting new people from all walks of life. I love Pilates, exploring new places, and making the most of the outdoors. I also have a 20-year-old daughter, Charli, who works locally. She's very outgoing and friendly. We love sharing Aussie experiences with guests, whether that’s sightseeing, swapping travel stories, or helping you improve your English. Oh, and let’s not forget Suede- my energetic and loveable dog...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

88 days visa possible if you are fit and strong enough for cattle fencing in a bushfire zone area. We use Natural farming methods. The Cattle dogs 🐶 take years to train (similar to a blind person’s guide dog and the bond is of the same importance. We trust and work together). The cattle 🐮 are the main emphasis and rotational grazing techniques are used. The large veggie gardens🪴 and fruit 🍎 orchards are for personal use. There’s an activity for a carpenter who knows what/how to replace a panel of ply wood in the cottage and fix a bit of metal on the surround of an external window(which was never done when the window was replaced by workman)😗 that has allowed water in to the plywood panel. Activities maybe basic veggie garden things, painting, feeding cattle, filling water containers of dogs, whatever comes up on a farm that is of interest. Separate accommodation.in the caravan or tent that are next to the ablution block which is being connected to off grid. Ample room for your own...

We live in a large old house 20km inland of Byron Bay, in a quiet area of farmland and bush. We have a large garden and vegetable garden which is where we primarily need help. We have chickens, cats and 2 donkeys! We can offer a separate 'cottage' to stay in, and we provide all meals- some helpers have not wanted to go home! There is our new natural pool to cool off in too. In return we request 4 hours of genuine work per day. We are 8km from the nearest village so your own car is a big advantage, although we can pick you up if you don't have transport. Our family loves the cultural exchange aspect of HelpX and looks forward to meeting you and learning about your country. Right now we have work to do outdoors mainly weeding, some heavy lifting, pool cleaning, painting & gardening.

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. This is a language cafe is designed for those who are willing to meet Korean locals and the ones from overseas. We provide them with the time and the place to meet and get to know each other while have conversations in English. I know from my experience that travelling or staying in other countries is not just doing sightseeing but experiencing the real life there. Here we try to bond them together as friends. If you are looking for something that can give you a chance to meet locals and to be mingled with them, this would be the best option for you. About the program : This is about the language practice and sharing their cultures, experiences and the thoughts. As long as you are an easygoing person to talk, open-minded and fluent in English, you can join us. As we are NOT looking for English teachers, it really doesn't matter which country you're from and you don't have to teach but have a conversation in English. We would like a strong, capable person to help us clean ceilings, inside walls, clean & wipe cupboards, wash windows, water pressure our roof & pathways, paint the ceiling of our new sun room. We like a sense of humour, honesty & the desire to get into a good days work. We possibly have 7 days work … this does depend on how the helpers are managing in the first 2 days here. We look for a helper who can quickly see our plan & show motivation. We are not so keen on helpers who have the need to be attached to devices & appreciate helpers who can quickly “read” the work we would like to be completed here. We start at 8.30 am & ask for 4½ hours a day. Preferably with own transport as we don’t have public transport out here. If you would like to work a full day , in return you are welcome to have a free day. This also includes weekends. David & I have enjoyed the excellent help we have had here on our property from workers. Some great tasks have been completed with lots of fun, hard work...

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

I would love to welcome you to my home, a cosy 2 bedroom cabin, shared with me , a delightful dachshund and a slightly cantankerous cat. This is a multi generational family farm and my elderly parents live on the property as well. As the name suggests, this is an old orchard, and there is a lot of fruit ripening throughout the seasons. I also have a big veggie garden, and we are close to a wild country setting. Our place is centrally located on Vancouver Island- 2 hrs to Tofino, and many other beautiful Vancouver Island attractions. It is a 5 minute drive to stores and only a 10 minute drive to the town’s scenic waterfront. Close proximity to forests and mountain walking and biking trails, and waterfalls, There are plenty of opportunities for amazing swimming in summer at nearby lakes and rivers.

LOOKING FOR: Helpers 7th May - 15th May My rainforest home is located only a 5 minute walk to Kuranda village with our famous markets and only 3km to the mighty Barron Falls. There are numerous rainforest walks nearby. Cairns and the best beaches are only 40 minutes by car. Own vehicle preferred as the bus is limited as it is only twice a day! Work is mainly outside in my large landscaped garden as well as maintaining the bank of a permanent creek which is my property's rear boundary. Alternatively, there is always some household duties and indoor painting to do when the weather is either too hot or raining outside. Old clothes available to work in if you don't want to use your good gear.

Would you enjoy spending some time on a small coastal farm in the Bay of Islands? We need some extra help with property maintenance/cleaning/painting in the house , garden and on our 50ft ocean going yacht.. We are looking for a couple, or two friends, who are happy to share a room. You will need to be physically fit, practical, and willing to lend a hand to anything that needs doing. We are mostly keen to find people with a great attitude and work ethic. Kerikeri is a boutique small town in Northland with great walks, access to local beaches and an attractive friendly atmosphere. We work from home , one of our 22 year old twins sons and his girlfriend live on the property. the other twin works from home on and off! We live on a lovely coastal farm with sheep, and great water views, 10 minutes from Kerikeri. There are good rural walks and rides from our gorgeous house with a lake to explore at the bottom of the property. A vehicle is a real bonus Please apply if you have a...
