I am a single parent with 2 grown adults and a young lady in university. I run a small party decorating business and have a small general home and hardware store. The wedding business is very interesting and demanding, hence why I'm looking for help at home. Due to other duties that needs to be done in the shop For now, we are looking for someone to help keep garden clean and tidy, cut shrubs and hedges and some general domestics around the house The kind of person i am looking for must be very neat and clean as well as very reliable and respectful. Someone who is not lazy and is very good at keeping their environment tidy and happy to do some cooking, cleaning, ironing and gardening. Personal hygiene is of utmost importance in our home and must be adhered to. If you want to experience venue décors for occasions (then you are free to come to venues with me, but not mandatory) i am very flexible with time as some days can be quiet, during this time, you can tour the local areas of i...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

WELCOME TO PARADISE GLENORCHY! We are a busy couple working full time and needing help with our property. Based in the spot chosen by the original settling family in the area, we have a really well established garden that needs taming and some quirky buildings that need some TLC. Looking for hardy gardeners, handy DIYers and folks who are keen to just generally get stuck in. We have a great retro caravan, sleep out, outdoor kitchen and bathroom set up that's screaming out for someone, two friends or a couple to bring it to life. At this stage we a only provide breakfast, but could do lunch in some situations. We have heaps of freezer space and suggest you stock up on a few dinners, and drinks in Queenstown before you get here as the local shops are a bit pricey. Spark phone signal is limited to the end of the drive, OneNz works just fine. - free internet available. We recommend helpers have there own wheels, as we're 5km outside of Glenorchy. There is however a bike you can use if ...

⭐️ About our project⭐️ We are a small community school located in Tnol Trong Village, just 13km away from Siem Reap, Cambodia. The school is a registered non-profit NGO, founded in February 2013 by my lovely family. Cambodia is seeing a strong growth in the tourism industry, which will provide an increasing number of employment opportunities in the future, especially for the children around the Siem Reap area and for a career in tourism, English is essential. That’s why our school has one clear goal: to give children from disadvantaged backgrounds free access to English and Chinese education, helping them gain a real chance to access future job opportunities. Our school currently offers FREE English lessons to nearly 180 children from the Bakong community. Many of the local families struggle with basic needs like food, water and health related costs, let alone getting the kids to attend class, afford mandatory school fees and uniforms. Education is often their only real chance to b...

Nestled in the coastal range of Mendocino County, California (about 45 minutes Northwest of Ukiah where the weather is more pleasant) we are establishing a small farm and wildlife sanctuary.  Based on principles of sustainability & permaculture our expanding ridge top garden and orchards consist of a variety of fruits, veggies, herbs and flowers.  Aside from garden and orchard tasks additional projects may include gathering seaweed and other native wild foods, cooking, canning, fermenting foods, making herbal preparations, habitat restoration, brush and trail clearing, small scale green building and learning how to build and maintain an off-grid infrastructure and solar system. Please read all of our information before contacting us. We require a one month minimum stay, and currently we have space beginning July 1st. Our homestead is remote and therefore not for everyone. We prefer those who want to unplug and enjoy the serenity of a mountain forest. If you are open minded, love t...

Preference will be given to helpers with a genuine interest in learning about NZ dairy farming and animal husbandry. We love sharing what we do and prefer to host helpers with a desire to learn. We run a boutique dairy farm, milking a small herd of much loved cows and selling raw milk to our wonderful customers Starting a new business is hard work and not for the faint-hearted. If you consider yourself up for the challenge of helping us, we'd love to hear from you! We offer a family environment with opportunities for farm work, housework, gardening and cooking. There is a wide variety of work available. Working with the animals of course, weed control, plus fencing work, painting, carpentry, building and lots of different small tasks to complete. If outdoor work doesn't appeal, help in the house with cooking and cleaning is always appreciated, and the large and previously neglected garden also requires a lot of work. We try to fit the work to each helper's skills and interests, and ...

Our small farm (https://little-farm.com.au) sits in Northern Victoria, where we grow fruit and vegetables, plant trees, and learn as we go. Tim, a retired engineer, is always building or fixing something. Beth is a teacher and health practitioner who also teaches at university. She tends a rose garden of over 400 fragrant bushes. Early mornings here smell incredible. The property includes an organic vegetable garden, orchard, berries, herbs, and a music room with a baby grand piano. If you play, bring your instrument. We’re close to the Murray River. Big skies, glowing sunrises and sunsets, and rich birdlife surround us. Magpies are part of daily life here, in sound and in art across the farm. Nights are clear and full of stars. Many people arrive tired and leave feeling genuinely restored. What we’re looking for Willing, reliable help Someone who takes initiative and keeps shared spaces tidy A careful learner who asks when unsure You’ll be guided at first, then work more indepen...

We are a couple in a neighborhood in the north-east area of Seattle, Washington. We are interested in hosting a person or two who could help with some yard work, maybe deep cleaning the kitchen, general house projects, etc. Also, Sally is involved in a house-reorganize project for her 89 year old mother that she would love help with. Short term stays are best for us (around a week, plus or minus). We ask for 3 hours of help per day (except for arrival and departure days). It's OK to work longer days and then take days off - we are flexible. You have your own bedroom & your own bathroom with shower to use on the lower level of our home. We are helping at a festival in Seattle's center and we would love some help with this. If you are interested, join us. It is a lot of fun at the city center, right by the iconic Space Needle. It is "Croatiafest" - you can look it up and learn more. We have two "kids", 25 and 27, all grown and moved away. The photo posted is really old! W...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

My home stay is part of Mia Mia community housing co-operative where we have a 2 acres of wonderful organic garden, located in beautiful Denmark. Because we are on the south coast we are close to several magnificent beaches, where surfing is available and we have forests of Kari trees and the Bibblumun track for bush walking. There is a lot of natural beauty here and much to see. We grow our veggies and fruit organically an we have a small orchid and 2 chook runs. We love having travellers and those who come always enjoy themselves. My own property is in need of some gardening help and some landscaping. Inside my house I have a comfy room available for one or two people, free Wifi connection and hearty food for breaky or dinner. I make a mean curry! I could use some domestic help inside my home because I'm usually pretty busy.

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature couples as applicants are now open. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is not raining or too hot. Be ...

We are 8 minutes from Hillcrest, Hamilton, on the main road to Morrinsville. There are a few buses along State Highway 26 into and out of Hamilton city each day. We have 2 options Number 1 In Christchurch we like help in our very large and peaceful hillside garden. The work is mainly weeding. We also want firewood chopped and moved, and mulch carried uphill and placed on gardens.. Our campervan also needs cleaning. People who are fit, happy and able to be independent with their spare time day and evenings are most welcome. Please note we are quiet people. We eat dinner around 6pm and don't socialise after 7.30pm or late into the evening as we work during the day. Our kitchen and lounge area are NOT available for use after 7.30pm . We request non smoking guests. We like people to do 4 hours work a day or negotiate more hours with more time off. Guests have a separate bathroom. We provide food and evening dinner on work days ( so guests to go out for evening dinner on a non work day) and accommodation to reliable helpers and friendly people.Get in touch if our work is within your skill range and if you think we might be a good option for ...

Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bikes, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter at The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, we seriously need help with the massive task of @296: gardens to create & jungle to clear ! We are keen to host people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. When Debs & I started hosting in 2025 we moved to the sleepout making it possible to host helpers hopefully from different cultures in the house. T...

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. We are looking for a couple / few friends to help with a variety of work on our property. We are an easy going family of 4 (Jake, Viv, Ruby 22 and Leni 15). Ruby and Jake live away from home during the week, so its just Viv and Leni during weekdays. We live on a country lifestyle property just out of Hamilton with a pool, native garden, vege gardens, paddocks and 2 goats, 5 sheep, 6 chickens and 2 cats. We are 8 minutes from Hillcrest, Hamilton, on the main road to Morrinsville. There are a few buses along State Highway 26 into and out of Hamilton city each day. (Bus no. 22) Our location means, with your own vehicle, you will have easy access to Lake Karapiro, the Coromandel, north to Auckland and South to Cambridge, Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupo and beyond. We are 15 minutes to Te Miro mountain bike park, 5 minutes to Ruakera Berry Farm, 45 minutes to Raglan surf beach, and 10 minutes to Hamilton Airport. Where we live is a lovely country space. We have a large house with open plan living area. We could do with some help with our garden, painting, fencing, small building p...

Professional husband (pharmacist) and wife (retired veterinarian) operate a small, but beautiful no spray & no till market garden farm in the lovely Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. We sell at one weekly market plus attend a couple of festivals during the summer months. Our farm is open on Fridays and Saturdays to the public with the purpose of selling u-pick fruits, vegetables and eggs direct to the public. We also have a herd of Shetland sheep for wool, a couple of family milk Jersey cows, a small flock of meat birds (arriving in June) and a larger flock of free-range hens and chicks for eggs. We are seeking a helper or two to visit our farm during the months of May through mid October, 2025. Helpers can stay for a period of 2 - 4 weeks primarily to help out with vegetable/berry gardening and harvesting plus animal chores each morning, including hand milking. We also offer helpers opportunities to learn how to preserve/ferment foods, bake sourdough bread, make tallow, butter, s...

At our farm plant nursery, we always need volunteers helping out with potting up seedlings, weeding, and planting.
