This is a permaculture designed garden. We have 120 species of bamboo. fruit trees ducks chickens and two dogs and lots of friendly wildlife and many useful plants. we are a wholesale bamboo nursery and also make one off bamboo creations. We are a 10 min drive from Airlie beach in the Whitsundays with 72 islands to sail to. there are many ways a helper can help and learn about permaculture and bamboo. You will have your own room here with wifi and the food is fresh and healthy. We have self contained accommodation in the garden if you like. And if you love fishing we catch and cook seafood. Our property is 33ha of native forest with two creeks located in subtropical NSW, 15 km from Lismore and 50 min from Byron Bay. Our focus is on enhancing the natural habitat for the abundant wildlife including wallabies, goannas, echidnas and birds. I operate a plant nursery and could use a helping hand. There are lots of weeds that need pulling and lots of plants that need planting. I would be asking for 12 hours per week of stay. This would be for accommodation only, no food. I have two nice rooms in a share house environment.
