I am in the Madonie Park. It's a small experimental farm. I chose to get out of the city routine and come and live in the Madonie park surrounded by nature. the house is big enough and comfortable. I offer volunteers an independent room and a second bathroom. I have some animals: a mare, a donkey, 5 dogs, 12 goats, 10 hens, 1 cat. I need help taking care of the house, in the care of the peaceful animals, some gardening work. During the milk period I milk some goats and produce the cheese, yogurt and ricotta. Sometimes I like to cook together with my guests it's definitely a cultural exchange. Ros' languages are basic Spanish and Portuguese and very bad English. I like to wake up early and work, animals don't like to wait. The daily tasks are carried out calmly .

Our volunteer program need help now. We run an off the grid and entirely self-sufficient yoga center nestled on a mountain in Spain. It is beautiful here, with no light or air pollution you can experience the peace of the mountain and enjoy the starry night sky. We have our own water supply, solar power and bio waste system, if you want to learn more about off the grid living then this is the place for you. We are remote off the grid mountain living and therefore we ask that volunteers are interested in simple living. Living on the mountain requires team-work and collaboration. Volunteers must be able to support one and another and work well together to create a happy and simple mountain home. You don't need previous experience, although, living off the grid on a mountain requires a certain amount of physical work. The work will be mainly gardening, repair work to our earthbag dome and general help. All jobs will be explained and we are always looking for the volunteers input a...

We live on ten acres in the Noosa hinterland on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Our home is 14km from Noosa, 11km from Noosaville; 10km from Coolum and Peregian Beach and Eumundi is 5km away. We live in a Queenslander house and our helpers have their own double room with a private access and their own bathroom. On our property, we have a variety of wildlife, including wallabies and kangaroos that come and go. The best time to see them is late afternoon and early evening. We are in a heavily wooded area and the birds are wonderful. We also have a big swimming pool which you are free to use anytime. My wife Denise and I have lived and travelled extensively and like you are eager to meet new people. We want to make your time with us interesting, exciting, and educational. Sandy is a retired psychologist and Denise a retired school counsellor. We enjoy meeting people, sharing experiences and helping with new adventures. A beach front section. Kayaking, body boarding, swimming and fishing available for guests. Accomodation and meals provided in exchange for four hours work a day. Gardening, housework, general household maintenance and painting could be requested. I can collect people from the end of the Taupo Bay road or Mangonui. My preference is for people to stay a week . Taupo Bay is quite a small community and no public transport is available so it is often easier to have your own transport. Certainly not essential as arrangements can be made for collection and support to get to your next destination. Many thanks for looking. Fran

Our farm is up for sale, so work is lighter, mostly weeding, cleaning, and property tidy-ups. Usually, it’s just you, us, and the animals, so it’s a relaxed, family-style experience. We typically start at 8am or by arrangement and ask for about 4 hrs of help per day You’ll stay in your own private air-conditioned container accommodation next to our home, share meals, enjoy the spa pool, BBQ area, and explore with our e-bikes. A vehicle is recommended as there’s no public transport, Richmond (shops, cafes) is 5 mins away, Nelson 20 mins. We love positive, proactive people, good cooks, and anyone who enjoys sharing food, music, and stories. Check out our reviews below.

Place available from 12 January 2026. Having built our home in the middle of old growth Karri forest, we have many landscaping projects and on-going maintenance to attend to. Helpers who are both skilled or un-skilled are welcome. We have three lovely children, lots of chickens and two dogs... so it's important that you like all varieties if you would like to stay with us. Whilst we are in the middle of the forest, we are only an easy 3km walk from beautiful Denmark town. If you don`t have a car we can pick you up from town if you have caught the bus. Denmark is a thriving town with many natural highlights to offer visitors. Also close to Albany (by Australian standards at least!) Please make sure you are aware of where Denmark is in relation to Perth before contacting us. Your accommodation is provided in a separate, fully equipped house. In return for accommodation we ask for two hours work per person per day. We are happy for you to double up your work hours if you want to...

I live in a large house in Veyrin, a very very small village, in a very nice countryside in France, 90km East of Lyon, not fare from the Alps. Genève (Switzerland) is 1h30 driving. I'm looking for non-smokers helpers, who could help me 4h/day in my organic vegetable garden or helping me to welcome holidaymakers and pilgrims in my gite. You will have your own bedroom. The common kitchen is to be shared with everybody. I can speak English. If you are sportive we can lend you a bicycle to visit around. The first town is 12km from Veyrin. I have a cat. I don't accept others pets. Please contact me if you want more details. You can also have a look on my website via link below. Looking forward meeting you.

We've travelled around New Zealand in 2014/2015 and enjoyed helpx and would like to give back and share the same way we've enjoyed this wonderful country. Here our profile from our travelling time in case you're curious: https://www.helpx.net/profile/1661532AV We have recently settled in Wellington and would love some help with general household but also renovations and the garden. We believe this would suit anyone who wants to explore the Wellington area while staying with us. On street parking and public transport from "Takapu Road Station". You'll have your own bedroom and share kitchen and bathroom. We have two cats living with us: 'Tipsy', who loves all attention and food and 'Vanta', who loves her space and occasionally appreciates human cuddles. We'd love a self motivated person who just gets stuck in with what needs done and you're interested in too. Usual jobs around the house we'd like help with: - weeding - cutting and mulching branches - painting doors - pain...

Kia ora and hi! UPDATE - We are looking for helpers (ideally a couple) for the weeks 6 - 20 December. Please get in touch if you are interested in coming to Taranaki in that period. :) We live next to a subtropical rainforest and large community orchard in urban New Plymouth, on a peaceful, green half an acre. We are looking for help in expanding the native forest on our back slope bordering the rainforest, with tree planting and weeding, as well as developing our gardens, and painting and other property maintenance. We are a friendly couple in our early 40s, interested in culture, travel, music, sustainability and community. We have two boys, a ten year old and a 2 year old, so require HelpX'ers who enjoy and are familiar with children and the sometimes busy daily life they can create. We have a ping pong table, piano, guitar and ukele, and enjoy socialising and sharing food with guests, and sometimes playing board games. We have one spare bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and a l...

Hello everyone. Thanks for your interest. I am now looking for HelpX people for October./November/December. Would especially love to have people who are passionate and knowledgeable gardeners and /or some specialised practical skills. People who can stay at least a week would be great. If you’re interested please reply telling me a bit about yourself and your interests, skill sets and abilities. I look forward to hearing from you. Haumoana is a small, very artsy and alternative, semi rural seaside village. There are two surfing spots very close by. Yoga and pilates classes and great coffee shops 5 minutes away as well as a well provisioned grocery store near by. Miles of bike tracks, mostly off-road mean you can ride to the two larger towns Napier and Hastings on bikes I provide. If you don’t have your own transport you should be aware Haumoana does not have any public transportation and you will need to bike wherever you wish to go though sometimes I can offer to take you somewher...

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

Kia Ora, I am an older person, ex Primary School/ ESOL/ Drama teacher and Events Organiser. I have a two bedroom cottage with a small garden on the flat, in a historic, friendly, alternative area. The area is also quiet, green and home to many native birds and has a number of bush walks and bike trails. The street also has a electric vehicle charging station. My house is located in the fringe suburb of Aro Valley in Central Wellington. The house is an easy 15-20 min walk to the CBD or a 10min bus ride. As well it is a 10 min walk to the Aro shops, which contains cafes, a bar and a restaurant, Mini Mart and a shop where you can purchase fish n chips/ takeaways, plus a variety of other stores. I am well travelled and very much enjoy the company of people from cultures other than my own. I have previously hosted homestay students from China and Japan via the local university. I have lived and taught in international schools in China, Russia and Turkey. I am still a healthy, active pers...

We own properties in Opotiki and further up the coast in Whanarua Bay, dividing our time equally between the two. With winter approaching, we're looking for help with various tasks around our properties. We need assistance with general spring cleaning tasks outside such as pruning, gardening, washing buildings, lawn mowing, etc. In exchange for 4 hours of work per day, we offer accommodation, meals, and free Wi-Fi. Our property also features one sheep named Mary, along with several hens and Indian runner ducks. If needed, we can arrange pick-up from the bus station.

We can accommodate stays of anything from a week to a couple of weeks/months - let us know what works for you. We are a friendly family interested in having a cultural exchange and supporting you during your stay.

HelpX Listing – Animal Rescue Farm (Tauranga / Katikati Area) Kia ora! Since my retirement I have been running this Animal Rescue Farm as a volunteer — caring for animals and developing this land has become my passion over the past 11 years. I I’m looking for friendly, motivated helpers to join me, especially during Spring when lots of ducklings arrive! I have been leasing part of this beautiful property from the Western Bay of Plenty Council and have been working on creating a large Native Walkway for the public, so there’s plenty to do and lots to learn. What You’ll Do (About 4 hrs/day – 7 days/week) Because the animals need feeding every single day, I ask helpers for around 4 hours of help daily, 7 days a week. However, I’m very flexible—we can easily arrange your hours so you can take a full day or two off, explore the region, or join other volunteers for outings. Just talk to me and we’ll make it work. Top priority: Feeding the animals (30-yr-old stallion Pony Rebel, 15-yr...

We are a couple from Austria and we live since january 2014 in the middle of the Swedish nature together with around 25 Alaskan Huskies. Our farm is in the middle of now-where at the beginning of Swedish Lapland and you can expect a lot of nature, lakes, woods and a lot of wild animals like bears, lynx, moose, reindeers and many different kind of birds. You can help us with training and feeding the dogs, cleaning the kennels. In wintertime there is also help needed with snow shoveling. You should speak german or have at least B1 with your english skills and you should also be able to work sometimes alone. There is plenty of spare time, to explore the nature and the surrounding. You should be at least 18 years old, a teamplayer, love to be outside, it is not necessary that you have knowledge about dogs or in special about sleddogs. You will get all the information from us. No hosting during the winter. I'm an anthropologist, musician and owner of a sailing boat on Belgium's largest lake. I would like to share my home, my knowledge, my daily life and work, with other people, in a comfortable way. For me, comfortable means in a peaceful relationship and with respect for my personality and my lifestyle. During the HelpX exchange, I provide a comfortable place for travelers to sleep, and in return, travelers provide organic food that we cook and eat together. On days when the travelers help me in my works, I offer them a meal at the end of the day. The help that I need is repair a sailing boat, cleaning my home or making some DY, translating texts, cooking, sharing some music or artistic knowledges, have fun, etc. The length of travelers' stays at my place depends on the quality of our relationship. We can agree in advance on a minimum length of stay, which will not exceed two weeks, and only two nights initially if the traveler does not have positive revi...

UPDATE: ***I have enough tasks for 1-2 helpers for a few days from 17th December up to 23rd December maximum So, if you're happy with a short stay let me know. Since the weather will be hot and I'll be working early some of those dates, I will be relying on helpers to get up early, do a few hours before the heat then the rest of the day will be available to go sightseeing. Skills I need this time could include basic construction, gardening, sewing, and labouring. I am a career Broadcaster translating to Strategic Intervention life coaching and Real Estate investing. I have space in my newly built home that has a great garden (under construction - almost finished) in a lovely suburb of Perth. We are sorry but we are No longer able to accept smokers because of health reasons. Bremer Bay and surrounding area remains a beautiful pristine place to visit with wonderful beaches for swimming, surfing, diving and fishing. The Fitzgerald National Park is a World Heritage listed area with amazing things to see that you will not see else where. The lake is filling up after two years of less than half our rainfall, so canoeing is possible, there are many other waterways within a reasonable distance to canoe on also. The farm is an organic farm where we have been growing some of our own food so work is needed in this area to increase production to become self-sufficient in the future. We will soon be hatching chicks and ducklings which if you haven't experienced before can be very rewarding. We have boer goats that have finished kidding now but the kids are still young enough to be entertaining. Just before Christmas 2018 we had a large wild fire which burnt 600 of the 800ha far...

NB - just in case you don't get to the end of the profile - we are vegetarian (mostly) - and we don't take picky eaters. - or smokers. We are terracing a steep section (with an amazing view), developing a fernery and planting out an orchard and native hedges. There are fantails and keruru in abundance. Though the development is sometimes hard work, it`s creative and fun. We are getting there but we could do with a bit of help from strong fit people whose knees can handle walking up and down a steep garden - usually with a load on.. We also have work repairing and painting garden furniture. We prefer hosting a couple or 2 friends who are keen gardeners - or have carpentry or brick laying skills - to help with garden maintenance. We also have a couple of hard-landscaping projects involving path construction and maintenance. Ideally, we would like people who are able to work with minimal supervision, who take pride in their work and want to do a job well, who are self-motivated, have ...

Hi there!! We have a small life style property in the sunny sunny Sth Wairarapa consisting of paddocks, gardens, fruit trees, and lawns etc... The living spaces are very tranquil - spacious gardens and pool area - can be quite a bit to maintain sometimes. There are a few animals here as well as many on surrounding farms. The property has two dwellings, as well as an art studio, plus sheds and other farm buildings. Help is always going to be very appreciated with the maintenance as well as the ongoing creation and construction of the garden areas etc. The Wairarapa is situated just an hour north of Central Wellington and we are located 15 minutes from the wine region centre of Martinborough where some of NZ`s great wines are produced There are many cafes, restaurants and vineyards The property location is quiet and peaceful, located amongst farmland on the river with its own private swimming spots. Generally the area is mostly farming and grape growing, the climate is hot and dry - a...

Stay with us by a beautiful lake, wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy the sunrise from our beach, disconnect from the noise, become more sustainable, feel the essence of nature and climb the volcano where we live. We are looking for self-sufficient and collaborative individuals to join our team of four volunteers dedicated to maintaining and guarding the property. We offer a straightforward exchange: your work in return for food. If you value independence, don't mind routine tasks, love being surrounded by nature and embrace a self-directed way of living, this could be the perfect fit for you! ---- 📢 📢 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘: 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

I'm excited about all the wonderful stuff in front of me, but need some help dealing with the general house and garden stuff, minor construction, painting, cooking or maybe in the office with my start-up business. You choose. I have a very good house-cleaner, so that is not on the task list; onl...
