Come join our warm and lively family! We have three energetic little ones (ages 6, 5, and 3) and are looking for a kind helper who simply loves spending time with kids—whether that's playing games, reading picture books, or chatting in English. What matters most is that you enjoy kids. There are no strict 'jobs,' daily quotas, or rigid schedules, and no special experience is needed! Just share whatever you love doing during your free time—if you enjoy cooking, you'll be extra welcome here! We'd also love to learn all about you and your home country. You'll have your own comfortable space in our relatively new, air-conditioned detached house with free Wi-Fi. We're just a 9-minute walk to the station (about 30 minutes to Ikebukuro, one hour to Tokyo station), with bicycles ready for you and local spots like cinemas and libraries nearby. We want you to feel free to use your stay for your own adventures, sightseeing, or studies in exchange for your lovely company. Please note we won't ...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

We are a family of four (becoming five as we are expecting a baby in early October!) who live on a beautiful homestead in northern British Columbia, Canada. We have two daughters, aged 8 and 10, who are homeschooled and are with us every other week. We also have dogs, chickens, ducks, a horse (who currently lives nearby but off the property) and a large organic vegetable & fruit garden. Our property borders Ross Lake provincial park, and the lake is a five minute walk/bike ride down the road, where we can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing and trail networks. We are only five minutes’ drive from the town and amenities of New Hazelton, which is rich with Gitxsan Indigenous culture and pioneer history. We are seeking help with childcare (spending time with our two older children), farm/garden tasks, and/or building projects during the months of September and October. We are just too busy welcoming our new baby, trying to harvest our food from this summer’s garden, and renovating the house...

We are located in the heart of Malaga, one of Europe's most exciting and diverse cities. With its vibrant cultural scene, world-class museums, historic landmarks, countless cafés, parks, and excellent public transport. I would kindly ask you to help with painting, fencing, gardening, sweeping leaves, cleaning and maintaining the house, as well as feeding and caring for the animals. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time. You will have your own private room, and I will provide breakfast and one warm meal each day. If you enjoy cooking in a holistic and nutritious way, you are more than welcome to do so. I am always happy to share my knowledge about healthy food and learn from others as well. I am not just looking for someone to help with daily tasks—I would like to offer a meaningful cultural exchange and create a positive experience together. If you are interested in meditation, mindfulness, personal growth, or self-discovery, this could be the right place for you. ...

My name is Paul. About 17 years ago I had this slightly crazy dream of changing my life from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer in the Swedish countryside. Somehow, 17 years later, here we are :) Norrängens is our 100-acre farm just outside Sala, about an hour from Stockholm. We have around 70 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, rabbits, a turkey, my cat Sexy, the kids’ cat Vernon and Malta, our farm dog. I have three children, Liam (22), Dylan (13) and Oscar (10). Liam has grown up and moved away from home. Dylan and Oscar live between me and their mum, although sometimes they seem to spend more time here :) When they’re here they’re part of farm life and help out when they can. This is our home and our little family as well as being a farm. Things are quite different here from a few years ago. We used to run a much bigger and busier tourism operation. These days things are smaller and quieter. The economy has been a bit of a struggle, if I’m honest, and this y...

After managing hostel and B&B for 20 years I've just starter a new project. I bought a new house (currently under construction) and a piece of land (approximately 28000 m2) in order to make my home and kind of permaculture community so there are still many things to do. For now volunteers would be housed in the small wooden house in the picture which has a double bed , wardrobe and kitchenette, there is no bathroom but you can use the tiny house for toilette and any electricity use. I just started to make a food forest and also many veggie garden and I would like to enlarge it in order to increase the number of grown plants. The help would mainly consists of land maintenance (cleaning, farming, fruit harvesting, planting trees, construction and refurbishment of infrastructure, irrigationetc.) but there will be also time for various briefings (e.g. how to graft and prune trees) and fun. Food would primarily consists of fruits and vegetables in season major part coming from our own prod...

We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. If you have something you are passionate about and want to share with others, we would love for you to run a workshop. One of the best things here is the variety of tasks you can do as a volunteer, which gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and discover what you enjoy doing most. We have a combination of short-term and long-term volunteers and on average we have between 10 to 20 volunteers and resident...

We have a vacancy for immediate start to help at our animal sanctuary, for a minimum of four weeks, longer would be great! A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. We can easily talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. It's becoming difficult to afford free meals to helpers because of rapid and continuous economic inflation, especially foods under the COVID pandemic, wars and Japanese currency depreciation. From July 2026, you are asked to share cost of meals during homestay. Amount may be 20000 to 50000 Yens per month, depending on your cooking skill. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am...

Do you dream of experiencing the quiet yet busy life of the Ranch Way of Life? Do you love being out in a remote area, surrounded by many animals and others who enjoy the life of the cowboy/cowgirl? Would you love to have the cultural experience of how to grow your own food and live mostly off the land? We can offer a quiet place in the country surrounded by many different farm animals. In the spring and summer our place is busting with babies and lots to do outside including running equipment to make hay, building fence, working with animals and more. Hello! Iwould be happy to have a person to help after the summer of 2026. This could be In October 2026, for a week or two. I hope to firm up dates soon. The property is situated outside the picturesque hill side village of Glossa, on the island of Skopelos. Which is part of the Sporades archipelago in the Northern Aegean . The first Mamma Mia Film was based here, so the Mamma Mia church is close by. Skopelos is one of the greenest islands and though it’s not a massive party island, there is plenty to do especially if you appreciate nature and island life. It offers a lot of possibilities to have outdoor experiences such as hiking, mountain biking, swimming, exploring beaches, running, Yoga etc. The island and area around is lovely, you can find beautiful beaches. The type of help I could do with is gardening, lots of painting and general maintenance , cleaning, cooking organizing around the property. I suggest a five hour helping day with your weekends off. For accommodati...

Help needed on tranquil finca in Las Alpujarras, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, southerm Spain We are a couple in our 50s who need a bit of extra help with various projects. We live in a spacious off-grid house in a rural area about 5km from the nearest town (Orgiva) and 4km from the small village above (Cáñar). We have spectacular views of the mountains opposite and with only a few other houses nearby, it is pretty quiet here; we are surrounded by olive trees and also have various other fruit trees; we often see eagles and kestrels and at the moment are enjoying the abundant wildflowers and birdsong. We are both vegan so would require helpers to consume only vegan food whilst on the premises, but we will provide tasty and plentiful vegan food in return for your help. We have two cats which are very much part of the family so it is essential you are calm and understanding around them. We need help with various tasks depending on when you come: • Creating a pond to att...

Greetings from Lijiang! Teach English & Explore Yunnan adventure with us! 🏔️ Accommodation and meals for free provided. Hello to all kind and beautiful souls around the world! 👋 Warm greetings from the mountains of Lijiang, Yunnan! ☀️ My name is Linda, I am 39 years old Mom of 2 girls , originally from Chongqing. I married into a local minority family here because I fell deeply in love with the rich culture and warm hearts of the ethnic minority people. ❤️ 🌱 Why I am here? As a mother of two lovely children, I see the limitations these children face. While they are brilliant and hardworking, their lack of English opportunity isolates them from the wider world. 🌍 Language is the bridge to the future. ////// we're looking for people for this fall; anyone interested please contact me. indian summer's pretty pretty around here///// Our home is inhabited by three humans and Hank the cat. The humans are Rebecca, an enthusiastic French-American and Mantas, a hard-working lanky Lithuanian, and the newest addition to the team is their baby, Havah. We are inviting anyone motivated and interested in the following : Are you looking to get (back) in shape while learning useful skills related to self sufficiency and homesteading ? Or maybe you'd be more interested in learning new languages, discussing philosophy and making art in a fervently mystical corner of the world. As Henry Miller put it, the Valley of Dordogne : "this great peaceful region of France will always be a sacred spot for man and that when the cities have killed off the poets this will be the refuge and cradle of the poets to come." If any of those things pique your interest, this might be the place for you. We have tons of id...

Good morning;. Well it rained most of last week.I do not expect a winter water shortage now. I write a review for each helper after they have been here helping me. I know many helpers and hosts do not do that but I do. Like host and helper information that is often very uninformative, I feel it is important to have an opinion and I hope for one in return. I went on the Wagon Train in Montana like I have since 1983. We had a bad wreck, I got hurt. Please come help me. I will need help September onwards and over the winter please. If you can come anytime in that time period it sure would be appreciated. The helper who had been here just over 3 years [yes years],moved . He works in town full time, stayed here for free and helped with chores. I have had 4 really great helpers already this year and 1 vanishing act. Too funny. Not as much to do as most years. Painting will get done this year. That is outside on the little buildings. If it ever stops raining. 2 barn doors need repairs. Ple...

I am a creative person living in Mumbai (Bombay) , India, I grew up in rural and urban natural lives. Making me experience working on farms, cities and learn some things on different levels of cultures, society differences, Indian deeper roots, religious, spiritual and positivity through life. So looking at life in its best or worst way, with in its various colourful shades. 👉🏼 For References - ask for my other volunteer site profile. 👉🏼 My passion is film making but still I am trying to develop my spiritual understanding. Sametime in support of growing world awareness of organic life or climate changes comes as a beginning of a new era. And proud to be part of it as its time to deconstruct what we constructed just in few decades. Mumbai city is the only city in the world where the Country lives in a city i.e you will find everyone from the different parts of India living in the city of Mumbai. Updated September 2026 I am an artist and I live alone in a small country house in Tuscany, surrounded by a garden and a piece of land that I used to be able to take care of myself. It was beautiful. After difficult years and health problems, nature has slowly taken over, and I no longer have the strength to look after it all on my own. I am looking for someone who enjoys gardening and being outdoors, and who genuinely wants to help me bring the garden back to life — freeing the few plants that are still there from brambles and invasive weeds... and, simply, helping me take care of a beautiful place that has unfortunately been left to itself for too long. There is no need to make it perfect; I like a natural, artistic touch. I would simply like it to feel cared for again. Please, sincerity and honesty are very much appreciated. Viviano

A small farm in a quiet green valley, 1 hour walk from the village. The railway station (7 km) is Fabro-Ficulle, halfway between Rome and Florence. (of course we' ll come fetch you at your train arrival!) Here live funny dogs (4 adults), all of them often in the house, and two cats. Downstairs my Ceramic Studio, often in need of some "housework". We need help with : ( according to the season) mow the lawn, pruning, collecting and chopping firewood ...rebuilding some order here and there, harvesting olives in late October, clearing, cleaning, painting, repairing, reinventing spaces and so on. In summer I am also engaged with the Thermal Park "Bagno del diavolo", it is a magic wonder place, and sometimes might need help with the thermal pool , when in need to be cleaned . We cook creative healthy meals, mainly without animal products. Usually - as a guest- you have a self contained room (photo), but when it is engaged you' ll stay in a bedroom in the main house. *We can host ...

Hello, I'm traveling by inland river barge through Europe, especially France, Belgium and Holland. The barge is an original Dutch built peniche and made for the old French channels. I still transport cargo and I am the third generation of a shipper family from both sides of my parents. I live and work alone on the barge sometimes accompanied by my girlfriend. There is a simple separate -little- room (see photo..) for guests in the front of the barge which is not suite. (no sanitation, but there is a chemical toilet and lavabo) Also a heating system, fridge/freezer and micro-wave. The work to do depends on the person, maybe some cleaning, housekeeping work, shopping and cooking??? And serving the aperitif of the skipper of course at 18h00 exactly..LOL. My intention is to make contact with other people and have an exchange of cultures. Kind regards, William * * * * * * * * * * * * Plans for 2025 : ** Actually I’m working -my first experience ever- on a bigger river-barge fro...

We live in Maleny (Sunshine Coast Hinterland) -1 hour drive to Noosa, 1hr 10min to Brisbane airport. Maleny is a lovely green area in the hills surrounding the Sunshine Coast. The people in Maleny are very friendly retired, eco, artistic, farming and alternative types. Our house is walking distance to town. The town is cute with lovely unique shops, art galleries and grocery stores. There is a bus stop which can take you to Landsborough bus and train station where you can connect to go to the beach or Brisbane or anywhere else on the Sunshine Coast if you don't have your own transport. I would like some helpers to come and help us mostly with gardening/landscaping, cleaning, helping out around the house, babysitting & some small projects. I have a 7 year old son who has a wild imagination. He loves Lego, soccer, art & talking especially about anything on utube, brainrot or Minecraft. We have chickens. We have wifi. We have an organic almond farm in the north of La Palma island, Spain (Canary Islands). The farm is four hectares with countless terraces that require continuous maintenance and restoration. There are two old houses and some smaller buildings that are being renovated. There are also two wooden houses with two beds each that can host the Helpers. There are several cats living on the farm (currently 4), no other animals yet. We are planning to have some animals (poultry, sheep, possibly goats), so building a shed and a living area for the animals could be part of the work at some point. Daily work consists of keeping that farmland clean, cutting the grass, pruning the trees, organizing and keeping the area clean, building sheds, fences, irrigation systems, terraces, rock retaining walls. On more relaxed days we plant/transplant trees, graft and propagate new plants, harvest almonds, pomegranates and other fruits. Due to the steep slopes and the terraced land work is not easy. Good phys...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy to show you basis if you are interested. If you want to discover...

We run a no-kill animal sanctuary in the beautiful Irish countryside, an hour's drive from Dublin City. We have horses, sheep, goats, hens, geese, ducks, dogs, cats, a pig and a donkey, all rescued from bad situations and now living out their days in peace and comfort with us. We are looking for someone to help with the daily tasks, mostly cleaning up the fields and stables, and walking and playing with some of our dogs. Accommodation and self-prepared meals offered in return for help with taking care of rescue animals. We ask for a minimum stay of four weeks, and even longer would be better! Our last volunteer came for three months and stayed for six! Approximately 25 -30 hours per week of help will be required. Vegetarian/vegan food supplied. Accommodation is in a modern mobile home, two bedrooms, one bathroom with shower and toilet, living room and kitchen...

I am...

The city also supports some ancient spiritual caves and temples. It is active in mov...

You will have your own room with a double bed & share the main ba...
