We welcome a helper to come be a part of our family of four. We have two kids, Ezra 14, and Arya 13. (Sorry old pics!) We have an urban garden and several fruit trees that supply our family with both fresh and preserved food the year round. We are looking for someone who wants to become a temporary part of our family and participate in a cultural exchange but who also likes doing their own thing:) We look forward to both teaching and learning from our guests, but also like space as we are a neurodivergent family and we need time to down regulate. Jobs are often flexible and can fit in with leisure and other goals and objectives. Work days are also flexible but most do 4 hours a day (on average) with one day off a week, for times where we have a larger project or a preference for 5-6 hours/five days a week and two days off this is open for discussion and just depends on our need for help. We need flexible helpers as sometimes we need more help on a day and will always offer extra ...

Hello travelers, my name is Abidine Al-Boudani. I live with my family in a small town called Tagounite in the southeast of Morocco. Our family only settled during the middle of the last century, originally we descend from nomads, but have made a home in the Daraa Valley now. In walking distance to our house we have an organic farm, a 50 year old heritage from when my grandfathers settled down here. The farm is a beautiful place for anyone - be it people coming by themselves, friends, couples, families, pets - to spend an enjoyable time, connecting with the nature of the desert. ~ACCOMODATION~ Volunteers with tents can pitch them in the garden. Some families who come with a motorhome, truck and vehicles have the option to park right next to it. Currently an insulated tent is being constructed next to the garden house, which is also in progress. This accommodation will offer a more quiet environment than the family house, but comes with no bathroom yet at this point. If people need ...

I need help with all kinds of tasks, mainly: * helping with chores, keeping the house clean and tidy * taking care of the cats * looking after the garden * simple painting and repair jobs I can offer accommodation in the house in a private room, in return for an average of 5 hours of help a day, 5 days a week, across the time you`re here. Please note you'll also be expected to help wash up (or help cook) the meals we eat together. Typically you'll help out 9am-1pm, which leaves the afternoons and evenings free. Usually you help yourself to breakfast, we eat lunch together on days we are working together, and I'll leave you food you can make for dinner. Food is predominantly locally sourced. I eat meat sparingly (not every day), but can feed vegans and vegetarians (but please tell me in advance if you have dietary restrictions as it is hard to find specialist products in rural areas). I'm a keen fermenter of pickled vegetables. We're conveniently located within a quarter of an hou...

LOOKING FROM MIDAPRIL 2026 ONWARDS. We live on a Croft on the Isle of Barra, Outer Hebrides. After a long break from taking Helpxs (9 years) we are looking forward to meeting new people, it was such a wonderful experience before. We are Sarah (Community shop manager), Wallace (creel fisherman) and Alexander (student). You will be staying in the house as part of the family and you will have a double room with a private bathroom. Barra is a great community and you will be made to feel most welcome. Barra is a wonderful place to live with great beaches, kayaking, surfing, walking, swimming and a host of wildlife. Great for photographers and painters. There is plenty to do on the island throughout the year including lots of community events. 2026 project is to get the garden back into shape after many years of neglect while getting a community social enterprise up and running. If you are reading the reviews - Anna has now left home - hence the free room and Alexander no lon...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

Hi lovely travellers of the world. I am a woman in my fifties living by myself. Both of my grown up children are off travelling the world so I thought it might be fun to offer other travellers a place to stay in return for helping me keep on top of the chores that I am rather hopeless at doing. I live in a small village called Etchingham in East Sussex, South East England. It is in the beautiful countryside so you would benefit by having a car to fully explore the area although it is only a five minute walk to the train station giving access to the south coast (Hastings, Eastbourne, Brighton) or Kent and London so if you don't have a car you can still get about although train travel is not cheap. It is rural with just a small post office (open part time) and sadly no pub. Lots of lovely walks but if you want nightlife and convenience this isn't the place. I am a lover of conversation, arts & crafts and familiar with local footpaths if you like to walk. I am not a great linguist but...

Sorry folks, but we are now fully booked until the beginning of September 2026. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, self defense, jewellery making, or help Tony with his self defense book and video courses, we could be a great match. Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. It is surrounded scraggy mountains and long valley walks. It is perfect for hiking or just relaxing in the sun with a good book. Within easy traveling distance for those interested in exploring this culturally rich island, is the seaside town of Cefalù or even the main capital city of Palermo, both are easily accessible by bus and train from the lo...

HOLA!! I am always open to exceptional souls, and would certainly consider someone special in May and June and likely beyond. Preferably for a minimum of 2 weeks or more, open to what fills & flows gently. 😀 Artistes, gardeners, and Magic souls, thank you for your kind consideration! This works best for single, simple souls who are flowing through and need a place to land for more than a week. I have a garden, motorcycles and my Happy doggie, Lula. :) so there are always little bits that need tending, painting or polishing! I am usually building something too! Lula loves long walks, swims, giggles & cuddles! She shall be your constant companion I imagine, and is a daily priority and delight. I would also like to polish my old Harley and Triumph on occasion, tend my garden or paint a mural as well! I enjoy my serene sanctuary in front of the beach in Cancun, Mexico :) , a lovely base just minutes from the town centre, ferry, an archaeological site and so much more, offering...

Help needed around the house and in the garden, usually general yard work such as gardening and house maintenance with occasional renovations Now we want to paint the fence and more painting needed in the house. .. Join Our Home in Walnut Creek: A Unique Opportunity for Connection and Support Hello! My name is Bruce, and I’m looking for a reliable, friendly person to assist me with everyday life while also forming a meaningful connection. About Me and Our Home I broke my neck at 18, resulting in lifelong use of a wheelchair. Despite this, I pursued multiple degrees and have built a fulfilling life with my wife, Kim. We live in a cozy three-bedroom home in Walnut Creek, just 28 miles east of San Francisco. Our household includes our service dog, Bennett, a future service dog in training (Dorothy, our third), and two cats, Edna and Scarlett. We are very lucky to live on a farm in the beautiful Lake District, just on the edge of the National Park in Cumbria; the farm dates back to the late 1600's. Over the years parts of it have been renovated and added to and some parts are looking a little sorry for themselves! Myself, my sister and my 14yr old nephew live and work on the farm running a small accommodation business and a Friesian horse sanctuary. We have big plans for the farm in the future, however for now we could do with a little help with day-to-day living. We are on the outskirts of the lovely village of Cartmel which is home to an ancient Priory, a small racecourse, several very good restaurants and pubs and it is famously the home of Sticky Toffee Pudding! You can walk into the village from the farm in just under 20 minutes and there is a local grocery store and several pubs where you can meet friendly locals and visitors from all over the world. The nearest town is Kendal which is about a 20 minute drive away or...

We are looking for someone to come in May. We can offer generously sized guest rooms, food, amenities and a good social and cultural experience. We will be working on a number of simple carpentry jobs and traditional building restorations. About us: We decided to quit the rat-race in London a few years ago and make our escape to the Portuguese countryside and work remotely! Sharlit is French, works as a Voice Over artist from our home studio, and Charlie is a British garden designer growing his knowledge of fruit bearing plants on our land here in Northern Portugal. We have opened up the space to accommodate other remote workers and travelling creatives, whilst learning Portuguese, counting on our very friendly neighbours to share their culture and knowledge of the land, and caring for our newest addition to the family, little Cobie, born in August 2023! Our home is nestled in a valley 30 mins away from Porto and our land backs up onto a beautiful waterfall! (makes for lovely water s...

Namaste! Thank you for stopping by. :-) I hope you will join me on my journey for a month, 2 months, or long-term. I have a pair of picturesque, riverfront hobby farms, each with a large 4-bedroom house. I am transitioning the farms to more of a communal space. There are three acres of wild blueberries that I am currently converingt to organic production, six acres of pasture, and about eight acres of woods that provide more than enough firewood to heat both homes without having to clear-cut any areas. I have a small herd of alpacas and an even smaller flock of chickens, whom I allow to free range. We harvest a small portion of our food from the property, and my vision is to increase that slowly and steadily every year. For a long-term (and possibly lifetime) stay, I would particularly interested in these 3 individuals: 1. Someone to manage the livestock, including monthly shots for the alpacas 2. Someone to process and market the alpaca fibre 3. Someone to manage the little antiq...

Hello, and thank you for looking at our page/profile! We are looking for a helper (1 person) during springtime ( 2026 ) for a 2 week period but that can be further negotiated. Work will be starting in April and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS FROM BEGIN OF AUGUST TO NOVEMBER. We are a family of four and have small farm at the coast of the Baltic sea close to Oskarshamn. The farmhouse is more than a hundred years old and is located just a few meters away from a lake, which we can use exclusively for fishing, swimming and anything else. A good work-life-balance is very important for us, and this is also what we have in mind for our helpers. It's not only working here, we also want to show our helpers the laid back Swedish lifestyle here at the Eastern coast. Both sides should feel that they did benefit from your stay at our place. Hein: I was born in the north of Germany, and my profession as a carpenter has a very important role in the realization of our dream life. Hello :) We are a small German family (Jens 55, Doreen 47 and Sam 8) who emigrated to Norway many years ago. We live on a farm here and now have 43 sheep. We need some help with tasks like cleaning out the stable and feeding them. In addition, there are always several tasks to be done on a farm, such as repairing or building fences, felling trees, sawing wood with a chainsaw or cross-cut saw, preparing winter wood and, if necessary, gardening work such as pulling weeds. You'll be staying in a camper van/caravan parked right next to our house. You'll be able to enter the house at any time and use the bathroom and our kitchen. The camper van, of course, has electricity and Wi-Fi. :)

HOLA!! I am always open to exceptional souls, and would certainly consider someone special in May and June and likely beyond. Preferably for a minimum of 2 weeks or more, open to what fills & flows gently. 😀 Artistes, gardeners, and Magic souls, thank you for your kind consideration!
