I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). Needing help on Our 23 acre farm.It is located 10 minutes on the Cairns side of Mareeba Far North Qld. It is close to all the wonderful tourist attractions while still enjoying the peace and quiet. Yes we have WI-FI. We have horses, also have a few cattle, chooks and dogs.Truly a beautiful relaxing farm to stay. We are needing extra help around the farm .Duties will include feeding up of horses when required. We love to have our gardens looking beautiful so helping out with the garden and odd jobs done as they come up. We are preparing new paddocks & needing help to pick up sticks & rocks from the paddocks as well at times. Accommodation is a comfortable caravan & clean amenities. We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths.
