I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Hello! We are looking for one or ideally two helpers for a large family gathering for a few hours a day over the week of Christmas. You would have accommodation on our property in a lovely cottage and we will offer an agreed payment. We had lovely helpers last year and they had a few extra days in the cottage in lieu of some payment, but we would still pay an agreed amount. Option to stay for Christmas and New Year. Washing up, getting logs, light housework and so on. We are a fun, friendly family ranging from ages 14 to 80, but this year has seen some extreme challenges and bereavement, hence hoping for a little help over the festive period. Perthshire is an exceptional area, boasting fabulous walks, stunning scenery, red squirrels and other amazing wildlife. Dunkeld itself is an excellent central jumping off point to visit so much of the rest of Scotland. We are based at the foot of the Highlands near Dunkeld in Scotland. My husband and I have a 20 acre property, two labradors, ...

We are located at the South of the state of JALISCO, close to the Pacific. Nearby interesting places: pueblos magicos de Mazamitla and Tapalpa, cute city of Colima, Boca de Pascuale famous surf spot, local river, resort Laguna La Maria, city of Comala. "balnearios" (hot springs), extinct volcano El Nevado (4,000 m above sea level, base camp at 3,500), rodeos in Queseria, gourmet restaurant in Montitlan, typical mexican restaurants on "La Libre" between Tonila and San Marcos... At the ranch: bonfires, birds watching, board games, hammocs, and around: nice walks, food foraging, "leche caliente" and milking cows. Future eco-village: you will help build a building with natural materials (stone, lime, earth, clay, sand, straw, reused bottles, etc...) and will help with our food forest: germinate seeds, transplant them, plant trees, harvest food, make compost, liquid fertilizers, manage pests, grow veggies... Kia ora, travellers! Haere mai - welcome - to my whare (home) in beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and insects. We built this eco-earth house using local clay from right under our feet. This land used to be just grass, but after 30 years caring for this whenua, there are mature trees, orchards and organic gardens. Life here is peaceful and quiet, perfect for enjoying nature I am part of the local landcare group, protecting our native forest, birds, lizards and insects. We trap predators and remove invasive weeds. You could help with organic/permaculture gardening: vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit trees, chickens, mowing, brush-cutting, compost-making, maintenance and fixing things (basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, chopping firewood. I bake bread. I make apple cider vinegar, bottle fruit, jam, chutney, sauerkraut, and collect seeds. My place fits independent, mature helpers who have work & life experience. I work at our local kura (scho...

I am in the Madonie Park. It's a small experimental farm. I chose to get out of the city routine and come and live in the Madonie park surrounded by nature. the house is big enough and comfortable. I offer volunteers an independent room and a second bathroom. I have some animals: a mare, a donkey, 5 dogs, 12 goats, 10 hens, 1 cat. I need help taking care of the house, in the care of the peaceful animals, some gardening work. During the milk period I milk some goats and produce the cheese, yogurt and ricotta. Sometimes I like to cook together with my guests it's definitely a cultural exchange. Ros' languages are basic Spanish and Portuguese and very bad English. I like to wake up early and work, animals don't like to wait. The daily tasks are carried out calmly .

Hi everyone. My name's Claud I'm a beekeeper and a horse trainer I live on a small island south of Greece called Kythira. The island is full of beautiful beaches and green small forests. I owe nearly 100 beehives and I need help maintaining the equipment and taking care of them. I also help a friend ride and train and take care of his horses. I'm constantly busy and almost always not at home. Ideally I would need help for a few hours a day. I have a car we can share if you have a driving licence. So you can explore around. Or I can be your guide in my free time.

We grow organic table grapes, a few fruit trees, chickens and a few pigs. This is a real farm experience, mostly working in the vineyard, with some fun too. There is biking to town, swimming in the ocean or our lake, fishing, basketball, volleyball, hiking, nature walks, beach strolling and look for fossils at Blue Beach, camp fires , rope swing in our little lake, take in the fantastic views, sunsets, star gazing, internet, phone and go to nearby towns such as Wolfville and Hantsport as well as the rest of the Annapolis Valley with the local bus. The accommodations and kitchen are separate for helpers cooking with an abundance of food. This is a more independent farm stay. Hope you can make it here.

Looking for assistance from late March and through summer 26. We moved north from Vancouver to escape the noise and the craziness and to find a spot to live in beauty. We found one and now are on the edge of nothing but more nothing all 400 km to the Pacific. We are 20 km outside of a small town halfway between nowhere and not much. Sharing that is a pleasure. Nearly everything we do now is in support of one thrill: adventures in food. But rural living out here in mid-nowhere means that there are endless other things to be tasked as well: construction, gardening, maintenance of many sorts, enhancing the natural beauty around us. Chances are that if you could describe a pure-fun, physical job, there would be something here I could offer that might satisfy those urges. If you want to work hard, eat marvelous meals and have a fabulous time in the gardens, the workshop and the kitchen, come join us and get a relaxing feel of rural life. PLUS, for all you thrill seekers/amateurs des sensa...

I am looking for help around my property for one or two people. A mixture of animal care and gardening with some renovation tasks in the house depending on your skills and what you enjoy doing. 6 dogs always needing attention, 3 horses, 1 Jersey cow Millie, 2 pigs, 6 Arapawa sheep, 4 turkeys, 2 roosters and chickens. Food and accommodation provided, although you will need to do your own cooking most of the time. Happy to cook and share meals and conversations over a glass of wine at weekends and “working from home” days. Accommodation is a cottage attached to (but completely seperate from) the house with a bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen-diner. Fabulous views from the upstairs windows over the valley and Tararua mountains. I have a 3 hectare section on a hill overlooking the flat land of the central Wairarapa with the Tararua mountains in the distance. Our family runs a western riding facility with 30 stalls, where we provide horse boarding and training, including reining and cow work. We also have a western saloon, where we host weddings, special events, and are open for our club members on weekends. In return for cleaning out stalls and feeding horses (and the odd other job), we offer room and board, sorry we cannot host vegetarians; we include you in family activities and you have the possibility to improve your riding skills in western riding (cow work and reining) in our 30 x 60 m arena and - how about -learning some line dancing!! A bicycle is available, if you want to explore the near surroundings. We are located close to Switzerland, it`s about a 15 minutes car ride to Basle, and also only about 20 minutes to Germany. Our area is a great tourist region. If you are mature, fit and self-motivated, willing to stay for a minimum of 2 weeks, experienced with handling horses, we would be happy to hear from you!

Minimum stay is two weeks. Would like to learn more German so help with that would be good. Looking out for 3-D artists to make an addition to our sculpture trail in the woods! We are now growing more vegetables and have some Hebridean sheep and a few chickens. Springtime is preparation for the summer and some tree planting. In July we need help picking fruit (raspberries and cherries) so half your time will be spent picking fruit or foraging and the other half will vary. Please state in your application that you are fine with this. We have a farm that has been converted mostly into trees ages 20 - 35 years ago that need maintenance. This involves pruning the trees and planting new ones and weeding round the trees. We also try to develop the flora in the woods by planting wild flowers and useful forest edible plants. There are lots of other projects depending on the time of year and carpentry skills would be particularly appreciated as we always want to build things! I have also been...

This is an old country house in need of a handy man to make some small renovating jobs, Help in the house, maintenance 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, flexible on the time table. There are nice mountain tracks to walk. The house is at 14km from Gandia and at 18km from the beach. In exchange for your help I would give accommodation and meals and could try to teach Spanish or French to beginners. I speak Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, and Valencian. The nearest village is at about 2km away. I would prefer longterm stay helper.

We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. If you have something you are passionate about and want to share with others, we would love for you to run a workshop. One of the best things here is the variety of tasks you can do as a volunteer, which gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and discover what you enjoy doing most. We have a combination of short-term and long-term volunteers and on average we have between 10 to 20 volunteers and resident...

During your time off you may use the tools for any personal project you may hav...

There are only a few of the appliances found in the average european household. I am building my eco home and as part of that i am creating a dance pavilion because i love dancing and music so much.... the pavilion is a jewel in the forest, a dream 🕺❤️💃 a timber post and beam structure surrounded by trees…. the space is n...

We have taken over an old former farm in the beautiful, sunny, hilly landscape of southern Burgenland and are developing it into a small, fine community. The focus is on craftsmanship, creativity, woodworking and renovating the old buildings. Step by step, a farm for more and more self-sufficiency is being created in the outdoor area. Electricity is generated by our PV system. We are looking for helpers with an interest in craftsmanship and creativity and in starting an organic farm.
