Hello. My name is Manon, and I am 33 years old. I live with my husband and my 1-year-old son, in a French old house. We have already renovated a large part of the house over the past two years. Now we're getting back to it with renewed enthusiasm :) I'm studying interior design and learning about traditional methods that are both durable and eco-friendly, so we can feel as comfortable as possible in this building. Anyone who wants to join us on this adventure is more than welcome :) We usually put together groups of volunteers to create fun and dynamic teams :-)

Join our peaceful meditation centre set in 70 acres of woodland and gardens, overlooking the beautiful Morecambe Bay, in the Lake District. We are a friendly, international community run entirely by volunteers, offering a unique opportunity to experience a simple, meaningful way of life inspired by Buddhist values — even if you have no previous experience. Life here is a balance between contributing, relaxing, and connecting with others. Many volunteers say they come for a short stay and end up wishing they could stay longer. What your experience will be like A typical day might include: Helping in the café or kitchen Preparing guest rooms for retreat visitors Gardening or maintaining the grounds Supporting creative or renovation projects You’ll usually help 5 days a week, with 2 days off to explore the Lake District, walk by the sea, or simply relax. There is plenty of free time, and you are always welcome to join our meditation classes, evening teachings, and weekend courses ...

We're Manon, Alessandro and Brioche (I'm a dog) a little young family passionate about nature, travelling, independence, regenerative practices, agriculture, farming, gardening, trekking and life. After almost 10 years of working and travelling overseas we felt the the needs to set roots and to transform our dream in to a reality. We bought an old farm stable in ruins (dry stone building) inside a very small village and a few hectares of old chestnuts forest next to it. On one side we want to restore the old building using eco techniques, as much as we can, to transform it in to our house and on the other side we are developing a syntropic garden, a little orchard based on agroforestry systems principles that will also be applied to some parts of the chestnuts forest. We're located in South Ardèche, near the town of Joyeuse. The place is famous for its rivers, canyons and forests with plenty of hiking and biking trails, bathing spots, canyoning, rafting, climbing spots, old small vil...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

I live on a 32 hectare property between Greymouth and Hokitika (most of which is native forest) with a view over the Taramakau river. The land and house need ongoing maintenance including gardening, gathering firewood, window cleaning, painting and clearing tracks. My preference is someone (or a couple) who are 22 years old (or more) and have been raised in the countryside, are strong, and familiar with machinery. An international drivers licence would be a bonus. I like people who work hard, and are capable of working with supervision. Early risers are really appreciated.....! Usually I cook but need help with some cooking from time to time (you get better fed that way!). You are expected to help with dishes after the evening meal and to keep your quarters reasonably clean and tidy. My children are grown up, and not living at home... In return for 4 hours work for every night you stay, I look after you well. The food is tasty wholesome farm cooking. Vegetarians are welcome, b...

Preference will be given to helpers with a genuine interest in learning about NZ dairy farming and animal husbandry. We love sharing what we do and prefer to host helpers with a desire to learn. We run a boutique dairy farm, milking a small herd of much loved cows and selling raw milk to our wonderful customers Starting a new business is hard work and not for the faint-hearted. If you consider yourself up for the challenge of helping us, we'd love to hear from you! We offer a family environment with opportunities for farm work, housework, gardening and cooking. There is a wide variety of work available. Working with the animals of course, weed control, plus fencing work, painting, carpentry, building and lots of different small tasks to complete. If outdoor work doesn't appeal, help in the house with cooking and cleaning is always appreciated, and the large and previously neglected garden also requires a lot of work. We try to fit the work to each helper's skills and interests, and ...

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

It`s been over 10 years now that we are participating in programs like this. We never get tired of new people staying and having strangers turning into friends. Also our neighbors and others in the village enjoy the exchange. They are always up for a small talk, which is great for you to practice your German! About us: We have organic breed Wagyu Beef (the most expensive meat in the world). There are 3 Horses, gooses, Chicken, sheep and a bunch of Cats that are also part of the Farm. We also grow all sort of crops. Either to feed our animals or to sell them. We also grow apples, plums, pears, potatoes and many other things that grow in a garden. There is never a time during summer where u can not just go outside and eat something straight from where it grows.. Ruesselhausen is a small village. Just perfect to be in the nature. There are bikes for you to use so you can discover the surrounding nature. It would be good if you speak a little German because not all of us speak English. ...

Our home is a 1960s suburban property (728sqm) that has been transformed from a simple grass block into a growing urban permaculture haven. We have food forests, chickens, wicking beds, African keyhole gardens, bees, and are home to the Food Is Free Coolbellup pilot project. This is a real, evolving space, creative, productive, imperfect, and full of learning. We don’t always get everything right, but that’s part of the journey. The main house is a share home with people interested in living more simply, growing food, reducing waste, making things from scratch, and creating a more connected way of life. We are located close to Fremantle with easy access to beaches, cafés, live music, markets and galleries. A bus stop only 50 metres away runs directly to Fremantle. Accommodation: You will stay in your own private caravan tucked amongst the garden. It includes: * Kitchenette * Fridge * Air conditioning * Heater * Private toilet * Outdoor shower * Wi-Fi We are looking for practical, ...

Spring is upon us & it is wonderful to see the plants “spring” into growth! BUT so are the weeds. 🫩 so we need help to weed & mulch, prune and plant. After our trip to Alice Springs to attend the Australian Native Plants biennial national conference we are enthused to improve our garden diversity. Please contact us if you want to experience our garden and hospitality like so many HelpX helpers have over the last few years. ENJOY THE FREEDOM & BEAUTY OF SOUTH GIPPSLAND. Property is a botanic garden of Australian native plants, many rare or endangered, plus an acre of plants for cut flowers, mainly proteas, banksias and tea trees. Lots of wildlife. We need help with weeding, mowing, mulching, planting and general clean up as the property is too big for the two of us to maintain. Accommodation is very comfortable, private, with fully set up kitchen in a studio style cottage with a queen size bed and smart TV. Recently installed a new electric oven with airfry function. Has split system h...

Stays of up to ONE WEEK - SUNDAY to SATURDAY are our preference but we may also consider longer stays so just ask. Our unique property, 'Raintrees Native and Rainforest Gardens' is located just one kilometre from DIAMOND BEACH at Hallidays Point on the NSW Mid North Coast. Diamond Beach, Shelly Beach, and Redhead are within easy walking distance from the property, but we'll drive you to Black Head Beach and several other quiet secluded beaches which are just a short 5-minute drive away. Many of our guests like to walk back from Black Head Beach along the beach to our property. We'll also show you around Forster-Tuncurry, Taree, Harrington, and Crowdy Head and when possible, even as far north as Port Macquarie and south as far as Pacific Palms and Seal Rocks. Diamond Beach is located centrally in one of the most scenically beautiful (Average Temperature 26 Degrees Celsius) regions of Australia with the Myall Lakes, Smith Lake, Seal Rocks, and Pacific Palms one hour to the south and Lau...

Farm started at the end of 2014. The main idea is to become self sufficient. Part of the land is used to grow different fruit trees such as mango, guava, lemon, avocado and more. Another part is a small banana plantation and the last part is a crop field. Have some chickens and a fish pond as well. Being the end of the raining season we now have to finish weeding and fix irrigation. Might even plant some forest trees.

We are a family of four - Todd, Kate, Wimitja (20) and Kinyin (17). We are in the Adelaide Hills but only 20-25 minutes from the city center. Non smokers only. It's a happy spot here! It is such an amazing time of year here in (nearly) Spring - it is all going on in the garden and in the bush! The hills are very beautiful. We are close to the city and a bus route but in the hills with koalas and kangaroos around... We have many projects on the go like woven fences from grape vines, drainage, pruning, path making, planting natives, building wicking beds, spring planting, mulching, bush regen, painting and more. The hills are very spectacular right now - gardening with a glorious view! We have been Wwoof hosting for many years now and really enjoy sharing life with people from all around the world. Stories, food, work, laughs and all that comes in between. We want to enjoy hosting you and we want you to enjoy being here! We have just been featured in the Grassroots Magazine...

We live in a nature sanctuary on Corfu island in Greece. we are a COMMUNITY of PLANTS, ANIMALS AND HUMAN BEINGS, who try to live together IN THE SPIRIT OF NATURE. we are organized similar to a zen monastery. yet we are not affiliated to any religious body, but to the holy body of our mother earth. the earth takes care of us. the earth gives to us what we need. she gives us and she for-gives us – she never asks for money… we admire the communities in nature (ecosystems), where all members balance their needs and gifts in a healthy way, without money, without machines and without chemicals. here in NATURE’S SANCTUARY we try to live in harmony with nature. we try to support and protect all our nature brothers and sisters, who share this sanctuary with us… it is a CHALLENGE TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE. it is a challenge to protect and support all nature beings in a way, that they have the chance to live in their own natural born communities. we are looking for people, who want to take...

We grow organic table grapes, a few fruit trees, chickens and a few pigs. This is a real farm experience, mostly working in the vineyard, with some fun too. There is biking to town, swimming in the ocean or our lake, fishing, basketball, volleyball, hiking, nature walks, beach strolling and look for fossils at Blue Beach, camp fires , rope swing in our little lake, take in the fantastic views, sunsets, star gazing, internet, phone and go to nearby towns such as Wolfville and Hantsport as well as the rest of the Annapolis Valley with the local bus. The accommodations and kitchen are separate for helpers cooking with an abundance of food. This is a more independent farm stay. Hope you can make it here.

We have a lot of visitors right now and can not take any helpx We (Brett, retired carpenter and IT manager, and Mandy, retired glass blower) are a stones throw from a beautiful surf/fishing/swimming beach that is visible from the property and a short walk for amazing swimming. It is one of New Zealands best surf beaches and in a beautiful part of the east coast, the first place in the world to see the sunrise and off the tourist track. Closet town north of us is Tolaga bay, 30mins away with it's famous (in newZealand) wharf and Cooks cove walk which you can also do from our beach. Closest city is Gisborne, 50 minutes away, which is known for growing citrus fruit, surfing and it's (usually) great climate. Our property is nestled in a very small community of 11 houses and tucked between 2 farms. We all share fruit and homemade preserves as well as fish. Our section is 3/4 of an acre, and full of fruit and ornamental trees with olive trees and amazing views all around You will have pl...

We operate a small husband and wife online plant nursery and in our free time we enjoy taking a wwoofer or 2 out on regular boating trips catching barramundi and reef fish, crocodile spotting, fishing and exploring the islands, snorkeling around the Great Barrier Reef and Whale and Dolphin spotting, ... so we would prefer folks that have an interest in boating/fishing and happy to tie their own fishing knots and set the anchor and dont get sea-sick....The more enthusiastic you are to help preparing the boats and cleaning up after the trips the more enthusiastic we are to take you out.... and the boating when the weather suits is a reward for your hard work in helping us out....we prefer to host people for 2 weeks or longer and this will give the best chance of getting the full experience as well as making a meaningful contribution to our lives and property.. From early september we would particularly love to host one or 2 people to help out around the garden, plant nursery and farm/or...

This is a language cafe is designed for those who are willing to meet Korean locals and the ones from overseas. We provide them with the time and the place to meet and get to know each other while have conversations in English. I know from my experience that travelling or staying in other countries is not just doing sightseeing but experiencing the real life there. Here we try to bond them together as friends. If you are looking for something that can give you a chance to meet locals and to be mingled with them, this would be the best option for you. About the program : This is about the language practice and sharing their cultures, experiences and the thoughts. As long as you are an easygoing person to talk, open-minded and fluent in English, you can join us. As we are NOT looking for English teachers, it really doesn't matter which country you're from and you don't have to teach but have a conversation in English. And basically it is a 2 way conversation so you don't have to ta...

Hello, and thank you for looking at our page/profile! We are looking for a helper (1 person) during the summer (2026) for a 2 week period, maybe longer. Starting in June and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn. Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All these tasks we do together. Further work includes simple window washing, exterior window and door painting. Saturday house cleaning, gardening, pool cleaning, ironing sheets for the rentals, etc. We are chefs from New York City so we offer great food and comfortable accommodation though we do not do cooking classes to our helpx friends. In the summer time when weather permits, you have a deluxe caravan for your home. You must be very neat and punctual for work...

We are an operating farm. Mostly silviculture. We farm mostly trees. We are situated in one of the largest Cork Tree areas in the world.Mediterranean forest ecoystems are considered one of the most important ecosystems right after Virgin Forests. We also have lots of pine trees both for lumber and also for pine nuts. Cork and pine nut trees are a very sustainable resource as their lifespan is over 200 years and they produce cork and pine nuts during that time. We pride ourselves for being an environmentally responsible farm and we enjoy teaching volunteers and visitors about what we do. We are a Forest Stewardship Council certified farm. FSC is a worldwide recognized organization that certifies socially and environmentally respectful organizations like ours, that harbour and follow, strict guidelines for workers, neighbouring populations and the environment. We are audited on a regular basis. From the agricultural antiques you may be cleaning and organizing, to working in the gardens. W...

Beef cattle and sheep farming and cropping. Help required with general farm duties in exchange for meals and accommodation. We enjoy a relaxed lifestyle sharing time with friends of similar interests in a great part of the country. Unfortunately, due to the fact that we live in a rural area sometimes phone and internet service is not great. Helpers need to realize that. If you want city phone service 24/7 stay in the city! My last 2 helpers have been complete time wasters, due to their dependence on a phone, which is unfortunate because all the others have been fantastic., so yeah, take this onboard and appreciate our wonderful country. :-)

This is what we are about in a nutshell: Inner peace for a compassionate world. You will be helping us to prepare this place for residential retreat and short break visitors to open fully in 2026. We will be hosting well-being, personal-development, meditation and similar groups as well as some guests who are holidaying in the area. The group retreats operates as a community interest company. During the Summer / Autumn 2026 we are doing a lot of internal building work [building new timber stud walls, putting plaster boards up], decorating [painting walls] and grounds maintenance. So plenty of opportunity to increase your practical skills and gain experience in renovating. We will also be hosting guests and retreats. and part of your work may be preparing rooms for their arrival. We value authenticity, integrity, honesty and self-awareness. We have put together this outline as a result of our hosting experience so far. We find that it helps to clarify what is on offer here and wha...

We are still welcoming volunteers from September to November for 2-4 week stays. Particularly if you enjoy strenuous physical work, including chopping wood. We are a clifftop ecological microfarm on a quarter acre at the westernmost tip of the stunning Beara peninsula in West Cork, Ireland, focused on salad-vegetable production. Now that autumn is here, the work becomes much more physical, with wheelbarrowing in manure every week and making and turning compost heaps, so it really helps if you are strong. We also have a massive wood pile that needs moving and chopping to clear an area that we are hoping to use for next spring. Until the end of October, I will still be harvesting vegetables twice a week, and there will be small amounts of sowing, transplanting, and weeding, so lots to talk about in the garden. At the same time, we are fixing up a small hut as a short-term rental, so if you are interested in carpentry, pouring a new concrete roof, painting, or replacing windows, there...

We are both retired and live in a converted barn in about two acres of land. The nearest town is Villefranche de Rouergue which is ten kilometres away. We have lived in France long enough to appreciate what we call proper food so. we strive to vary the diet so that no main meal is repeated for at least 14 days (unless specially requested) It may be French, it may be British, or it may be a mixture of French and British and on occasions you will taste the local delicacies We are very flexible about working hours all we ask is that in return for five hours work per day, five days a week, at a time to suit yourself, we will provide you with good healthy tasty food and a private comfortable room which has TV and en-suite facilities, If you are a couple who wish complete privacy, we could provide you with a separate self-contained apartment. Must be non-smoker and we find that feeding vegans is difficult. Please note. If you want to practice your English, then we are your ideal hosts a...

Me and my friends live in neighbouring fields in the beautiful beach village of Mirtos. We are Katerine, Marco and Yvonne. We can also communicate in Greek but it isn't on the language list!!!! :-) September-October only for campers (in our caravan, a tent or your own van) (see below) We have different projects that we are looking to guide volunteers and helpers with, depending on which season we are. From September/ October on we'll mainly do gardening work and house building. In November we'll do additionally the olive harvest. We are building a small pallet-clay-straw house which will be my home here. From September/ October on we'll go on to plaster the house with clay/lime and do other things in the house. Also we'll do some gardening work: the plan is to create a beautiful, permaculture based oasis around the pallet house. This needs some work, since the field lied fallow for a long time. We are happy for ideas and helpers! Also there is always work on our fields like pruning, ...

We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start mid-November and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only.

We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees.

We are into all things NZ, farming, fishing, hunting, camping, conservation and just keeping busy making the most of what comes our way and improving our dairy farm. I have traveled and worked for accommodation in England and loved it so figured we'd give it a go hosting now we have a self contained space for someone/ couple or family. We can offer you a self-contained sleep out with a farm view. That includes a toilet, shower and a basic kitchen setup including fridge, mini oven, stove and extras. Some very basic groceries and provide you with dinner. In exchange for upto 4 hours of work/day/person Mon- Friday. We may offer you to come along to any trips we have planned (town, beach, bush walks, visiting friends etc) we like to show our helpers our rural NZ life. Mostly we are tidying up our farm and garden and trying to ...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start mid-November and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in return for their generous servic...
