I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht.  I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay.  My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house ...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

Kia ora guys, We live in a small west coast beach village about 35-40 minutes from central Auckland called Muriwai Beach. It is one of NZ`s most stunning and wildest beaches. We have a half acre section that always needs little things doing and the house is slowly being worked on as well so experience in building or skilled labour is always cool as well as people who like to work in the gardens and landscape. We have a daughter who is 11 years old who loves playing in the outdoors, tending her veggie garden and meeting people from all over the world. If you like the beach and the wild west coast then I`m sure you will love it out here. I work in the television and film industry while my partner is a a musician. Drop us a line and tell us a bit about yourself and maybe you can come out and share some of the magic that we feel living here. Cheers. Toby, Moana and Manawanui.

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON. Need help with a garden clean up, at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed(inside and out 🤣,) skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town. It is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay, 2 hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. Our farm is in the mountains of Lares, a rural region in the center of the Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico. A town well known for the rebellion insurgency called "El Grito de Lares", also well known for the coffee plantations and the culinary festivities. Lares has great rivers, beautiful sceneries and nice climate. In this great countryside we manage an agricultural, educational and community project, Proyecto Agroecológico Campesino/PAC. Our mission has been to produce food in a sustainable way, facilitate a practical learning farm for students and share knowledge with the community. For this we work in the transformation of two acres, in an integral farm where combines crop production, animal husbandry, resource management, restoration of soil and ecosystems, inspired by the agroecological principles. We invite you to join us on our every day activities to build a sustainable farm and to share knowledge and experiences. The accommodation includes a private room with kitchen, bat...

Hello! If you’re a solo traveler looking for a peaceful, safe, nature filled place to stay, we’d really love to hear from you. We currently have availability from Monday September 7th to September to September 14th and September 18th to September 25th, then from 25th October onwards. We pause hosting from December to February because the heat and humidity make outdoor work uncomfortable — focusing on the cooler months means your stay is far more enjoyable, relaxed, and productive. 🌱 Who We Are We’re Craig and Yvonne, easy going retirees in our late sixties who’ve built our dream life on a forested acreage (not a farm) overlooking Wallis Lake and the Pacific Ocean. We love welcoming curious, kind, nature loving helpers into our home and creating a safe, calm, and friendly environment — especially for solo travelers who appreciate comfort and respect. 🛠️ Your Role (Flexible & Supportive) We’d like you to help us in the mornings, five flexible half days a week, starting early, with ...

We started our Vineyard back in 2004, it is located in a Beautiful, Quiet, Valley along the bluffs of the Mississippi River. We have five children that have now grown and moved out on there own. I just retired from a career of Process Instrument Work at the local power plant. I could use some help with the Vineyard and Gardens, but also enjoy fishing and boating on the river in the evenings and of course days off. We would be willing to supply your own bedroom ,great meals and WIFI. We also have two male Collies that love to get brushed and played with. The ideal person would have to be able to work on there own or in a small group, after some training of course to get you up to your comfort level, so as you basically understand what the goals might be for the time of year and tasks at hand, a five hour day ,if the weather permits, is what we usually work . There might be a few longer days, but I`m sure that having time off to check out the area won`t be any problem. If you would care...

Learn the wild life ,weather, slang or just Hit the reset button🤔😂 , Re boot , Recharge, Re focus & Re access. The area is often referred to as, 'The last frontier', due to the extreme weather & wildlife. Bush walks, Beach combing, Fishing , Nursery work etc take stamina. A small amount of fitness is a MUST. We are a mature aged couple working from home and are looking to find an enthusiastic couple, or single person, who can help with general garden maintenance , eg weeding, spraying blackberries and wood splitting etc. In return, we are offering a private room and own bathroom ( see in photos below) in our lovely home. Accomodation and all meals are provided. ( free wi-fi is also available). We are in a quiet and secluded bush setting, and often have kangaroos and wallabies feeding on our property, but still only 3km from the main highway and station. (Melb CBD is 1 hour via train.) It is essential that you are a dog lover! (We have 2) Our 2 Whippets are quite old now, but very friendly and lazy! We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

The flower farm is set amongst the trees of our two-acre property, which has spectacular views out to sea and across to the Kaimai ranges. My husband has a small olive grove, we have a wide range of fruit trees and grow seasonal vegetables. Our guest cottage (see the attached photos) has a bedroom, bathroom and private verandah, and we will provide all your meals. If you have some gardening, horticulture, landscaping or similar experience, or would like to learn, we'd love you to come and stay with us. We are looking for help in our garden - jobs like edging garden beds, applying mulch, pruning shrubs, weeding and using a weed eater. We're happy to share...

Next vacancies likely to be 2nd week of September. We appreciate help with DIY repairs and maintenance, timber work, help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We hatched two goslings in mid July and are hand-rearing them, real characters! Kia Ora. We live in the historic village of Puhoi, about half an hour north of Auckland. We have been hosting through helpx for many years now, and have met some wonderful people along the way. We enjoy sharing our home, garden and countryside surroundings. Our house is a short walk o the village of Puhoi. There are regional parks and beaches are close by to explore. There is the famous Puhoi pub, and the village is on the Te Araroa walkway route. The work around here are are mainly helping outdoors, gardening, weeding, wheel barrowing, mulching , tree pruning, and other practical building types of work if you have the skills,. (La description en français se trouve plus bas !) We are a small Buddhist community living in the forest close to Sainte-Julienne, Quebec. We have an organic fruit tree nursery, along with many other projects on our land: several fruit orchards, chickens and bees, growing our own vegetables and herbs and trying to be independent in many ways. The six people who are staying are: Ajan, Eric, Veronique, Elisabeth, Natalie and Camille. Each of us have arrived here one by one, at first just interested in helping out in the place, and then as we found that this lifestyle was for us, deciding to stay for longer. For part of the year we also have a couple of employees staying with us. There is also a wonderful dog named Dali. Our organic nursery and garden occupies a land of 9 hectares, surrounded by forest. As well as the main land of the nursery, we have another smaller land where a few of us live. This is, in fact, where the community started to grow from very small beginnings in the ear...

My name is Paul. About 17 years ago I had this slightly crazy dream of changing my life from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer in the Swedish countryside. Somehow, 17 years later, here we are :) Norrängens is our 100-acre farm just outside Sala, about an hour from Stockholm. We have around 70 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, rabbits, a turkey, my cat Sexy, the kids’ cat Vernon and Malta, our farm dog. I have three children, Liam (22), Dylan (13) and Oscar (10). Liam has grown up and moved away from home. Dylan and Oscar live between me and their mum, although sometimes they seem to spend more time here :) When they’re here they’re part of farm life and help out when they can. This is our home and our little family as well as being a farm. Things are quite different here from a few years ago. We used to run a much bigger and busier tourism operation. These days things are smaller and quieter. The economy has been a bit of a struggle, if I’m honest, and this y...

We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. There are also several other islands nearby that can be explored including North Stradbroke Island that has wonderful beaches and walks and lots of wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, turtles and dolphin and - from June to October - humpback whales. Over the next two years we will renovate and paint the home, install new kitchen and two bathrooms. Graham has some woodworking skill but needs help during that time with various tasks and we are willing to give you a comfortable bed, good food and company and access to bathroom and washing machine in exchange for 4 hours help per day, 5 days per week.

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

Sassafras is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The farm has outstanding views over to the coast, which is 40 minutes away. In the coast there are beautiful beaches, surf and Jervis Bay. Sassafras is a small area inside Moreton National Park so expect to wake up to see Kangaroos and wallabies outside your window. More shy but regular visitors are wombats, quolls and gliders. The birds life is plentiful and beautiful as well. Our farm has truffles, and lots of maintenance tasks to help with - come and help me plant and set up new projects - lavender/ herb garden etc. it would be lovely to have you come and stay but you would enjoy it more with a car of your own. As we are in a bushfire affected area we qualify towards your 88 days - we can always work out a volunteer/ work combo - stay in exchange for 12 hours work per week. Working towards your 88 days ? I can 3x your time so you get through the days more quickly - contact me for details We have accommodations options ...

We can sign off towards the 88 days -Days you are here go toward your visa extension. We had a natural disaster with excessive flooding in 4895 disaster recovery program. There is always something happening on the farm not too stressful. Helpers say our place is a good safe place to visit or start your travels !! . You cannot enjoy the long beach walks or bush walks without fitness. If you are lazy or unfit or just want to sit on your ass and do nothing this is not the place for you. We need helpers who are willing to give anything a go, outgoing, and willing to experience a very different lifestyle. Give a different way of life a go! We especially want you if you have IN...

(Melb CBD is 1 hour via train.) We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania.

We start 4 hours outside work at 08.00 hr, five mornings a week and at 9 am on Sundays. Saturday is your day off. So most of the work will be outside, based out of a well-equipped workshop and/or in our vegetable garden and hen and duck coops. ‍ Opportunities on your day off include fishing, sailing, snorkeling, weather permitting of course, rainforest walks and river swimming (Mossman River at The Gorge) and free nature tours on crocodile spotting boats on the Daintree River with the #Daintreerivercruisecentre (as Dave sometimes drives their boats and tour-guides for them when needed). We are establishing a m...

Your own transport is recommended, as there is no public transport into Puhoi, but we can pick up from Hibiscus Coast Bus Station, if you're using Public transport. The work around here are are mainly helping outdoors, gardening, weeding, wheel barrowing, mulching , tree pruning, and other practical building types of work if you have the skills,. On wet days there's cleaning to do. Some dog walking or house and dog sitting might also be an option for the right person, own transport a necessity for that arrangement to work. Also as...

We live on a 5-hectare avocado orchard in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, 5 minutes from Waihi Beach. We are looking for couples or two friends who have their own transport, interested in short stays in return for 3 hours of work per day or equivalent, helping garden, cleaning, painting, and/or working on the orchard. We appreciate people helping with dishes, etc., after meals. Wendy works Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. During those days, you will be left to work by yourself. We are a Christian household. We have a sleepout located next to a tennis court, featuring one double bed, a shower, and a toilet. We also have free Wifi for guests. We have surfboards, and Waihi Beach is less than 5 km away. We prefer people who are not vegetarian or vegan. We have a couple of cows. Tauranga is a 40-minute drive south, and Auckland is 1 hour and 30 mins. north. In return for work, we would provide accommodation and food. NON-SMOKERS ONLY. Please only apply if your profile include...

Our preference is for a single person or couple who have some skil...

We are located in the heart of Berlin, one of Europe's most exciting and diverse cities. With its vibrant cultural scene, world-class museums, historic landmarks, countless cafés, parks, and excellent public transport, Berlin is the perfect place to experience urban life while enjoying a welcoming home environment. I would kindly ask you to help with painting, fencing, gardening, sweeping leaves, cleaning and maintaining the house, as well as feeding and caring for the animals. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time. You will have your own private room, and I will provide breakfast and one warm meal each day. If you enjoy cooking in a holistic and nutritious way, you are more than welcome to do so. I am always happy to share my knowledge about healthy food and learn from others as well. I am not just looking for someone to help with daily tasks—I would like to offer a meaningful cultural exchange and create a positive experience together. If you are interested in me...
