We are on an 70 acre farm in North Pope County, Illinois and are virtually surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest. Having been on this farm for 13 years, we are still developing infrastructure and are continuing to plant in the orchard and various berries as well as establishing and expanding garden and crop areas. We are a GMO, herbicide and pesticide free farm in all of our outdoor areas. As we are far away from "modern agricultural" property, we feel that we should have no problems with cross pollination of our crops with GMO's or damage/exposure from/to ag chemicals. There are many projects currently in process or in the planning stages. This summer/fall we hope to get new water and electric lines ran to all the barns and the greenhouse as well as get a fiber studio framed in and get the finishing touches on the greenhouses. We are a family of four looking for a bit of help on our large property, located on beautiful Quadra Island. We are always keen to meet new people and share knowledge. Hello and welcome to our profile! We're looking for volunteers to join our super team here at our cosy wee backpackers hostel in the centre of Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands! We are situated just a 3 minute walk from Inverness Castle, and a 5 minute walk from the centre of town. The town has many amenities such as shops, cafe's, restaurants, supermarkets, cinemas, great nightlife and lots of live music. Inverness is a great place to be based to explore the stunning Highlands. Head out of town in any direction and you'll quickly find yourself surrounded by stunning scenery made up of forests, mountains, lochs, rivers and wild Atlantic coastline. There's good public transport up here, with bus routes connecting Inverness to many other smaller towns and villages all over the Highlands! Beautiful horse ranch in Alberta foothills near Calgary. Successful candidate will be an experienced rider so you can help exercise ex show horses that love to be ridden. Prefer minimum of 6 week stay..or longer for right person so horses do not have to change handlers often. Barn and yard help as well.. maintenance of facilities and help in house and yard. This is NOT a commercial horse operation. We are a private barn and do not hire ranch staff. So the one month limit with Immigration does not apply! You will have a private bedroom and bathroom and will eat with the owner and will have access to all living areas of the large ranch house. There is a gorgeous deck overlooking some beaver ponds and creek with lounge chairs for tanning, table and benches for dinning, barbeque and a couch as well. Nous sommes Pierre-yves et Paul, deux hommes gay. Nous habitons dans le sud ouest de la France, dans le très joli département de la Dordogne. Nous sommes horticulteurs. Nous vivons avec nos deux chats dans notre vieille ferme construite il y a plus de 200 ans. C'est un endroit paisible de la campagne française, à proximité d'un tout petit village. Les commerces et les villes ne sont pas très loin. Notre village s'appel Verteillac, il est situé à proximité de Ribérac. Notre vie tourne principalement autour des travaux en extérieur et par tous les temps. Nous exploitons une pépinière à domicile, ce qui nous laisse peu de temps libre pour entretenir la maison et le jardin. Nos projets incluent donc le jardinage, le désherbage, le défrichage autour de la maison et parfois la maintenance des bâtiments. Les travaux peuvent varier selon la saison. C'est un réel plaisir pour nous de partager toutes ces taches avec des personnes motivées, énergiques et qui apprécies la sérénité de notre styl...

We are Axel and Mônica (both 52). We are living in Portugal and our house with 3000 squaremeters of land is in a small village in the countryside of the beautiful Algarve. We can offer accommodation (bedroom - as you can see on the picture - and separate bathroom for you) and meals of course. Behind the village the mountains start, so here is a lot of nature,the beaches are 30km away. The next town (Messines) is 4km away, the next village about 1km. We need helpers in September or October for two or three weeks for some work in our garden. We prefer a couple or two friends, but if you are a single helper, you can contact us as well.
