Hi Helpers, We are located in Queensberry, a 10 minute drive from Wanaka. We offer accomodation in a retro caravan for sleeping, or you can stay in your own sleeping van. We also have casual paid work in our newly opened restaurant, Popina, on the property. The caravan has a double bed and feather down duvet and there is a well provisioned camp ground facilities with all you need to self cater. It is a beautiful place to hang out in and enjoy the rural tranquility. We have been growing and planting both native and exotic trees to regenerate the land. We are coming into autumn and are looking for people with experience in gardening to help us with lots of enjoyable late summer tasks. We are located in the Upper Clutha basin surrounded by beautiful mountains, lakes and rivers. We are far enough from urban areas to have clear night skies and be really connected to nature. There is an abundance of bike tr...

Need someone for May for 4 to 6 weeks West Coast Canada Experience Purpose built oceanfront B&B with 3 private self-contained studio suites on the 2nd floor of our home which is on the first floor. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, biking & hiking at our waterfront B&B. You'll have your own private room. We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. There are also several other islands nearby that can be explored including North Stradbroke Island that has wonderful beaches and walks and lots of wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, turtles and dolphin and - from June to October - humpback whales. Over the next two years we will renovate and paint the home, install new kitchen and two bathrooms. Graham has some woodworking skill but needs help during that time with various tasks and we are willing to give you a comfortable bed, good food and company and access to bathroom and washing machine in exchange for 4 hours help per day, 5 days per week. Our preference is for a single person or couple who have some skil...

Hello everyone, I have a plot of land measuring about 2,000 square meters that I struggle to maintain alone. I love gardening, but I can't seem to manage the garden and enjoy a beautiful plot of land where I can relax. As soon as a friend comes to help me, I'm doubly motivated. With two or more people, it's much easier and very nice. I live in the countryside, 1 km from the town, in a commune of 2,000 inhabitants. My garden grows flowers, vegetables, and fruit trees. I don't use any chemicals ; I spread all my organic waste directly on the flowerbeds or at the base of the trees. A stream runs at the bottom of the garden : that's why my hamlet is called "Stank Vihan", it means a place where runs water. The current priority in my garden is to cut back the brambles and pull them out (with a scythe or brush cutter). I'll do it with you, of course (it's easier than it looks !). Oak and chestnut trees have begun to grow over a large part of the land, which will become a lovely grove. We'll ...

🌿 Come help on our farm! We need friendly volunteers to join us with cooking, cleaning, gardening, and everyday tasks — no experience needed, just a good attitude and willingness to muck in.We are looking for helpers between the ages of 18 to 32. We are a small community of friends working towards a better life in a beautiful part of rural Devon, in the Tamar River Valley Estuary where you will make friends for life. In exchange for your friendship while you are staying here we will endeavour to teach you new skills that will carry you through life. A small farm in a beautiful location! Our farm and home probably date back to pre 1660's, with many additions since. It has been left to go wild for the last 40 years. The river has otters, seals, beavers, salmon, sea trout, and sea bass. With buzzards and owls overhead. There are deer in the surrounding woodland. The aim for our farm is to give the land back to nature and at the same time create an organic food source that we can freely s...

****UPDATE**** Looking for a second pair of hands from now onwards but particularly from late May onwards - single person or couple, but also feel free to get in touch if you have any availability later on in the future. Ideally, a minimum commitment of at least one month is necessary. It takes about 2 weeks to settle in and learn things plus shorter stays do not allow you to fully experience all that is on offer in our beautiful area. In the past we have many who regretted not being able to stay longer. This is the beating heart of the Scottish West Highlands. Katie and I own a small crofting home in a tiny village called Lochailort and we need help all year round. A good understanding of the English language is necessary. This location is not ideal for improving or learning English, as interaction with us and others can be limited. We are always looking for willing, reliable, pro-active, self motivated and enthusiastic volunteers :) Please whatsapp our mobile number or leave a mes...

We are a mature aged couple working from home and are looking to find an enthusiastic couple, or single person, who can help with general garden maintenance , eg weeding, spraying blackberries and wood splitting etc. In return, we are offering a private room and own bathroom ( see in photos below) in our lovely home. Accomodation and all meals are provided. ( free wi-fi is also available). We are in a quiet and secluded bush setting, and often have kangaroos and wallabies feeding on our property, but still only 3km from the main highway and station. (Melb CBD is 1 hour via train.) It is essential that you are a dog lover! (We have 2) Our 2 Whippets are quite old now, but very friendly and lazy! This would be an excellent opportunity for anyone requiring 2 weeks of accommodation, possibly longer, to share our easy going family life style. We are DEFINITELY a NON SMOKING household, and would prefer not to cater for vegetarians only. The work involves weeding, moving mulch, splitting...

Hi, we’re Terry (64) & Tricia (56)! We live on a beautiful 5 acre lifestyle property in Yandaran, about 35 km north of Bundaberg. Yandaran is a small rural village surrounded by farmland, offering a relaxed country atmosphere. We love showing people around our wonderful area - you can enjoy fishing, catching mud crabs, exploring freshwater river crossings, and visiting a beautiful beach only minutes away. We’re looking for some help putting the finishing touches on our property- small fencing jobs for animal yards, establishing lawn and garden areas and a few homestead projects. We offer accommodation in our 21 foot caravan, complete with own toilet and bathroom. We haven’t hosted for a few years, but we have previous experience as hosts and made many friends around the world because of it - and we look forward to meeting many more!

MEQUINENZA SPAIN PERIOD : Now until 15th November. I am a single mom who, after her dad's death, has been given the supervision of a large country house located between the fruit plantations in Mequinenza, Spain. The house is supplied with electricity via solar panels and a generator, and water is pumped from the ebro and stored in 2 water tanks of 2000 liters. Potable water is collected in buses at a water pump in the village. To give the house and grounds back to their former glory, I could use help in return for this, I provide full board accommodation. Anyone who loves adventure, peace, and nature and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves is very welcome to me. Sufficient relaxation is also included so that the bow does not have to be constantly tensioned. The house has 5 bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom garage is equipped with a double bed and 2 bunk beds and has a sink and toilet. Downstairs there is a bedroom with two single beds and with a washbasin and toilet and douche, ther...

Kia Ora travellers, we are keen to welcome you to our place. If you have only just arrived and are trying to find your way around then we'd be happy to help you or Ii you are just looking for a little taste of normal Kiwi rural life we would love to host you. We are looking for helpers at the moment. Generally we offer about a week's work but if interested there might be a possibility of a longer stay with some housesitting involved. Meg and I are a young couple (in our sixties), our three daughters have now all left home and are living their own independent lives. We love to have young people around. We will make sure to spend some time with you as we enjoy helping with English, while still leaving you plenty of time to yourselves. Hi guys!! I recently moved to Asturias, North of Spain, where I live with an adorable young dog who loves to play. I am in the process of improving sustainability and rehabilitating a small barn (structure ok, need basics renovation). This year I'd like to focus on the field, mostly developing a vegetable garden and building fences to put some animals. I'd love to collect rain waters and energy from the sun so if you have some experience with these technologies, welcome! Regarding the barn, the structure is good, it mostly needs isolation. The hours are quite flexible, but I expect 5h/day, 5 days a week in exchange for accommodation and food. There are 2 rooms available; 1 with a double bed, the other with 2 beds. Regarding the food, we share 3 meals a day, no strict diet, everyone is welcome we adapt. On your free time, there is the beach 30' away with some waves for those who like surfing. There are plenty of beautiful hikes in the area (at the doors of the picos europa and Covadong...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

My name is Esperanza, I run a language school. I'm looking for an easy going native English speaker to help us with conversation classes and different activities. It is a great educational project where we aim to develop students interest in the language in a natural way. We live in a nice area surrounded by mountains, our house is big , so we recently started an online rental program to meet new people from all over the world. Hello, we are Cat and Silvan, who is 6 years old. We live on an organic permaculture farm in the Pyrenees in the south of France. The property is situated in a small hamlet of 8 houses bordering a wild forest including chestnut, ash, oak, acacia and cherry. We grow much of our own fruit and vegetables and collect hazelnuts, walnuts, mushrooms and wild herbs from the forest. I cut my own wood and much of the wood used in the construction has been harvested from the land. We have 5 goats and friends graze their horses during the summer months. I enjoy eating fresh food from the garden and like to be creative with dishes with what can be sourced locally rather than necessarily going to a big supermarket. We buy locally and organic where possible to supplement what we have in the garden. When there are more of us here we often do a rotation of cooking, which is great as we get to taste each others variations and be inspired. If you are not confident in cooking don't worry, it is a gre...

We extend a warm invitation to join us on our friendly farm by the seaside. We have availability from July 1st to the end of the year — all beautiful times of year here, when everything is either waking up again or settling in for s slower pace and the island feels full of fresh energy or is lulling off to sleep. Please inquire for availability during any time of the year. Joining us is a lovely chance to slow down, breathe, and really feel nature all around you. We’re right by the seaside, so you can live close to the water, enjoy the long light, and settle into the rhythm of rural coastal life. There’s always plenty to learn and experience here, and we’re delighted to welcome helpers who enjoy great scenery, good purpose, and a peaceful place to land for a while. If the timing suits you, we’d be very happy to take a look at hosting you and if you already have some farm experience we especially welcome you! ...

Summer discription: besides our work on the farm we organise international workcamps, long-term stays, and voluntary work in different companies as printery, carpentry, farming, nursery If you like to learn milking cows or driving an old tractor, cutting hedges, shear sheep, build fences or throw honey, test your strength in the muck or while digging the garden - you should join us. If you find dung and greens not so interesting, we understand :-) We are a living and working community with different workshops and bio-dynamic farming in Germany, Baden-Wuerttemberg. We are doing carpentry, printing, video production, publishing and distribution - it is always possible to help. Depending what you want to learn, you can help. We have four more than less old houses here in the village, so we also have to do a lot of construction work. The farming we do is not a business for us to earn money. We do it because we think farming is an important part in a holistic way of life. We have sheep, ...

Animal Rescue and Sanctuary and Organic Vegan Farm in Central Costa Rica Hello everyone! What we do: We take care of animals, we grow organic food, we prepare and eat tasty vegan meals, we minimize our impact on the earth, and we enjoy the company of our Costa Rican friends and neighbors. We have run a volunteer program for over 18 years, and have had several hundred people come to work with us! Our farm is primarily an animal rescue, rehab and sanctuary. Our doors are open to animals in need. We currently have five rescue dogs, six goats, a pig, a horse, two cats, and two water buffalos. Some came off the streets, some were abandoned, others were injured and no longer wanted. We adopt out what we can, but most are retired and happy to live their lives on the farm. The 3.5 hectare property is covered with many tropical fruit trees, including water apple, mandarin orange, banana (many varieties), guayaba, guanabana, cas, caimito, lime, nance, coffee and araza. Depending on the se...

Metaremåla Gård is a forest/farm in southern Sweden, 2 hours east of Copenhagen and just 20 km from the Baltic. We – Alex from Germany, Fiona from Scotland, both mid-50’s, no kids - bought it in 2022 and moved here permanently in late 2024, having decided that Germany was just too full. Our 200 year-old, museum-like farmhouse is spacious and (despite ongoing renovations!) comfortable and warm with all mod-cons. Besides 40 hectares of forest, including part of a lake, we keep chicken, ducks and (billy) goats, as well as our pets, namely two dogs, three horses and one cat. We do not have any type of organic certification but try to do everything in such a way as to minimise our impact on the environment – we re-use and recycle everything we can, process our own meat (both game and the said chicken, ducks and goats!), grow as many of our own vegetables as we can, etc. In 2025 we installed an earth-heat exchanger as well as solar panels and started to renovate the various farm buildings; t...

* Very often one or two of the volunteers works as a handyman and general maintenance worker, and this position can also be paid for the hours in excess of the 25 hours per week. From the reviews of the others you can understand a lot and you can feel what we can share... I speak English, Franch and basic Portugues. Hi ! We are a parish situated in the center of Tuscany. We are in a town, really nice and famous, rich of art and history, not so far from Siena. The name of the town is San Gimignano. In our parish we organized many activities with kids and teenagers. Even if there are many tourists around every day, I really like the idea to give to the more young of the community the possibility to share time and experiences with those who have a different background, different experiences, different languages. For this reason I decided to open our activities to some people of other cities and countries. We organize activities especially in summer for children and teenagers, some activi...

Tiny homes and Qi Gong a focus, beach and eco-sanctuary nearby. Vege gardens under development, big job with one person doing most of it, people interested in building, landscaping, gardening, maintenance, healing work, yoga etc would be very handy. Also building mobile homes on site and doing a lot of tree planting and maintenance Looking for people to help with building projects - perhaps to build their own tiny home while helping me on mine?

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots...

We are looking for helpers with special interest in forrestry work, logging, firewood making, cooking, trditional woodworking and wood/timber construction this coming winter.
