Hello, LOOKING FOR end of August, and September I am looking for a helper who can help with a deep house clean and some gardening. We speak french at home, but are fluent in English. As a family, we are really active and spend lots of time outdoor, surfing, wingfoiling, swimming, and hiking. You will have your own room with a bathroom. Our house is new and comfortable. It's also in town so you can walk to town in 3 minutes. We ask for 4 hours of work/day in exchange of accommodation and meals. We have a productive vegetable garden, fruit trees including figs and walnuts. Most help is outdoors and may include gardening, weeding and general farm tasks. Guest will be able to help with gardening, cooking, cleaning etc. From time to time there will be maintenance jobs (painting, repairs). Preferably work in the morning and then free time after lunch. We are a 10 min drive from Airlie beach in the Whitsundays with 72 islands to sail to. there are many ways a helper can help and learn about permaculture and bamboo. You will have your own room here with wifi and the food is fresh and healthy. We have self contained accommodation in the garden if you like. And if you love fishing we catch and cook seafood. This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome.
