My name is Selly and I am the founder of an association. I live in the city of Morogoro in Tanzania, where I was born. I founded this association 4years ago with the aim of promoting access to education for children,Youth and-women in my country and hometown. Unfortunately, although Tanzania has exceptional wildlife and culture, access to education is marked by significant inequalities. Approximately 3.5 million school-age children and adolescents are not enrolled in school, and nearly 30% of children aged 5 to 14 are working, 94% of whom are in the agricultural sector. Additionally, child labor still affects approximately 4.2 million children aged 5 to 17. If you wish to get involved in our project, you are welcome, whether it be for the short or long term. For the past two years, we have regularly welcomed volunteers of all backgrounds to participate in our project, but also to discover our country, its exceptional wildlife and flora, and to exchange ideas about our culture. If ...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

Hello, my partner John & I, have had a wonderful time sharing our home with volunteers. We now have a vacancy from February 21st, to march 3rd. short or longer stays are welcome from April. We live as a family & enjoy many things together, with our volunteers, many of whom have become lasting friends. We live in a 4 bed modern dormer bungalow, in a beautiful village, with a shop & bus stop 3 minutes walk from the house. We live with my father, who is 89 years old and has moderate memory loss. My father has Carer’s visiting 3 times a day, to help him shower & take him out for a drive. Volunteers are not involved in my fathers personal care, but My father loves extra company with volunteers, so that he doesn’t feel lonely. My father does like to have volunteers there, to watch television with him, so that he’s not alone & he enjoys helping volunteers improve their English pronunciation. I also need help with keeping the house clean & simple vegetarian cooking. We enjoy sharin...

Our property is located on the edge of the Blue Mountains National Park. We are about 2km from the township of Wentworth Falls, 4km from Leura and 6km from Katoomba, so best suited to those who have their own transport. It is our family home but we also let our Gatehouse out through Airbnb (you can view this from the website link). Our property is comprised of a couple of acres of garden, some paddocks and the rest is bush. We have a dog and a few chickens. We are also beekeepers. We are close to some excellent walks and we have a couple of mountain bikes available. We are currently looking for help with gardening, cleaning, animal care, renovation work and meal prep. Please note that we eat meat. If you are vegetarian, you need to tell us in advance, so we can plan accordingly. Work is very flexible depending on the weather and what needs to be done, but we generally aim to do a few hours in the morning and have afternoons free. Length of stay is usually a week or 2, with the possi...

Hello, I live in the beautiful Charente region 16140, and am looking for help with all sorts of jobs, from feeding the donkeys and other animals to painting and helping in the garden 😊 I am slowly bringing this lovely old château back to life after being empty and abandoned for many years. I enjoy growing my own organic vegetables and looking after my animals. I recently planted an orchard and have lots of other projects I'd love your help with. In the past I've shared some wonderful times with helpers, many of whom remain friends and have visited several times. In return I offer a comfortable bedroom in the chateau with 3 meals a day, and cooked as much as possible with our fresh produce. I would like your help for 5 hours a day with weekends off. There is lots to explore like little villages and towns and the river. The coast is about an hour's drive away. The Charente river is at the bottom of the garden and there are some lovely walks right outside the door, there are also b...

Sorry, I don't have any availability at the moment. Hello. My name is Vanessa and I live in a large home in Fremantle, Western Australia. My home is across the street from a park and is walking distance to the centre of Fremantle (cafes, restaurants, bars and a market) and a 5 minute drive to the beach. I have a dog and a cat. I work full time and sometimes have to travel for my work. If you stay here, you would have your own room, bathroom and a small sitting area. You would share the kitchen and laundry with me. The help I need is with my animals, including feeding. Walking my dog also but mostly company for her. So if you were at home part of each day that is important. I would also like some help with house cleaning and some garden work. Possibly also some cooking. I have a little bit of conversational french and am happy to help you with your language skills and also helping you find work if that is what you would like to do. I prefer just one person at a time coming to sta...

An off-grid organic project in a stunning location, We’re currently completing a rainwater catchment system and doing some renovation projects around the farm, as well as routine work like firewood gathering and tree pruning. The work is hands-on and varied, and we usually work together for about 4-5 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. If we’re having fun with a project, we might keep going a bit longer! We’ll be starting some earthen floors soon. The weather in winter can be a bit cool, sometimes wet but often warm and dry, which makes working outside pretty enjoyable. You’ll stay in a small bedroom with two beds at the farm, or possibly in a separate room near the house. If our rainwater storage runs out, we will have to drive to collect our water from the village 3km away, so we’re really mindful about water use. I like to cook and share meals, so will provide some basic, mostly vegetarian, food, but not every meal and snack. Torvizcon is the village close by with everything you migh...

Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM THE BEGINNING OF MARCH. We are fully booked until then. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. You will live as part of the family - during your stay, our home will be your home. We are a married couple living on a property with our DOGS, HORSES and some elderly but treasured chickens. Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs. UPDATE: Volunteer needed in March-early April 2026 to help clear a pasture from big wild bushes and chop wood. Hello. I’m Paul, a recently retired musician. I live in a mountain area made of rounded, wooded peaks in the inland of the Italian Riviera, at the point of connection between two regions, Tuscany and Liguria, widely renown for art towns (Pisa, Lucca, Florence among others) and picturesque fishing villages. It’s a quiet setting to get away from it all, with a 360 degree view stretching for tens of miles and right down to the Mediterranean Sea, only 25 km/15 miles away. Here is where the Alta Via (High Route of the Ligurian Mountains) starts, a long-distance waymarked hiking trail for nature lovers. I speak Italian (native), English (fluent) and French (fluent). I’m looking for calm-natured volunteers who are self-motivated and good with their hands, willing to help me with general maintenance around my property in exchange for food and lodging in a friendly environment. I a...

Nourished Landscapes is a 5-acre permaculture and Land for Wildlife property in Jimboomba, South East Queensland, located in a rain-shadow region that receives less rainfall than greater Brisbane. The property is designed and managed using regenerative permaculture principles, with a strong focus on water efficiency, food production and long-term self-sufficiency. Since moving onto the land in 2016, the site has evolved into a diverse, productive landscape with established native vegetation, food forests, perennial growing systems, water-harvesting earthworks, wicking beds, a greywater garden, and a zero-waste nursery and worm farm. Ducks, geese, chickens, pigs and sheep are raised on the property, alongside honeybee hives. On-site harvesting and food preservation are part of the system. Doreen runs Nourished Landscapes as a permaculture consulting and education business, offering workshops, one-on-one food-growing coaching and property consultations. CURRENTLY SEEKING A COUPLE, single male or female from early March 2026 onwards, but please feel free to ask if you have some availability either now or in the future. A MINIMUM COMMITMENT of at least one month is required please. It takes about 2 weeks to settle in and learn things plus shorter stays do not allow you to fully experience all that is on offer in our beautiful area. Katie and I own a small crofting home in the rural heart of the Scottish West Highlands in a tiny village called Lochailort and we need help all year round. A good understanding of the English language is necessary. This location is not ideal for improving or learning English, as interaction with us and others can be limited. We are always looking for willing, reliable, pro-active, self motivated and enthusiastic volunteers :) Please whatsapp our mobile number or leave a message here if you are interested in a placement with us. We are particularly keen on couples with the male having some basic building o...

Hello Everyone, We've been hosting through helpx for over 10 years. We enjoy learning about cultures and people from all over the world. We have the pleasure of living on 350+ acres of natural bush country in Brooweena, Queensland. We also grow a lot of our own food and have fruit trees. We are 100% off-grid with all our electricity from solar and tanks, dam, and rain for water. We have a friendly dog who loves to play. We live on a small hill farm in the beautiful county Wicklow known as the garden of Ireland. We are a family of four. Becky and Kilian and our daughters Zoe (11) and Bea (8). Fiona (18) is also staying with us this year as an au-pair. We are quite remote so it is very serene and peaceful and the view is amazing. We speak English and German as well as French. We farm organically and have 15 free range organic pigs as well as 2 horses and 5 cats. We also have a poly tunnel and farm garden where we grow vegetables for our own use. Becky works from home and Kilian when he is not farming, has an additional part time job which calls him away on projects from time to time. We live 1km outside a little village called Redcross. It has a pub that brews its own beers and there is also a restaurant, snack bar and shop. We are 20 minutes to drive from a town called Arklow which is on the sea and there is normally a chance to get a lift in but it’s only a 1 hour cycle. Wicklow is a cool part of t...

We live just above the iconic Vinegar Hill. 50 minutes north of Palmerston North and 50 minutes from of Whanganui. Very central for visiting many of the middle/lower North Island tourist attractions; just over an hour to Mt Ruapehu, 2.5 hours to Taupo, 3 hours to Rotorua, 2.5 hours to Wellington, 3 hours to New Plymouth. Jacques (Jack) and I have 3 acres, on which we have many pets; sheep, ponies, pig, goats, chickens, cats and dogs. We are a fun loving family, with 3 busy kids Elliot (9), Paisley (7) and Willow (5). Jack is from Belgium (french speaking). We have had live in au pairs and lots of people stay with us through Help X too, so know how to engage with many different people. I work 5 days a week as a teacher and Jack works 3 days a week at the local mechanic shop. We also work from home doing a variety of different things such as Cliff Top Cottage Airbnb, animal/pony expe...

My name is Esperanza, I run a language school. I'm looking for an easy going native English speaker to help us with conversation classes and different activities. It is a great educational project where we aim to develop students interest in the language in a natural way. We live in a nice area surrounded by mountains, our house is big , so we recently started an online rental program to meet new people from all over the world. The language school is 8 minutes away on foot from our house. I live with my son, Mikel, who is a university student. While you stay with us, you will be able to take part in lots of activities. Zalla is a town with lots of facilities where you can do nearly everything you can imagine. If you are interested in learning Spanish, we will be more than happy to help you! We live 20 minutes from Bilbao in a lovely town called Zalla. There is a good bus/train service to Bilbao. Volunteers also can visit, Santander, San Sebastian, Burgos, Pamplona either of these ci...

Hello Everyone, We've been hosting through helpx for over 10 years. We enjoy learning about cultures and people from all over the world. We have the pleasure of living on 350+ acres of natural bush country in Brooweena, Queensland. We have converted a bus to a tiny home, and we are currently building a shipping container home, this is a priority and would love people to help. We also grow a lot of our own food and have fruit trees. We are 100% off-grid with all our electricity from solar and tanks, dam, and rain for water. We have a friendly dog who loves to play. Our goal is to be as self-sufficient as possible, improve the soil, and regenerate the land to a healthy ecosystem. We use Permaculture Design methods. This means we don't use any chemical sprays, artificial fertilizer or mono-cropping on our land and live the values of Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share. It's a very exciting time for us to be embarking on our farming adventure, and we would like to share this t...
