We are a small theatre company and during the summer months we run a small hotel, Hotell Vagabond, in Abbekås at the south coast of Sweden.It is a unique hotel where visitors live in genuine Gypsy Wagons. The house is an old school with a theatre, restaurant and a gallery. In July and August we need help with running our hotel. It hopes to provide an English medium education for underprivileged children. The school has 7 staff members taking care of its 80+ students - aged from 4 to 12 years old - and would benefit from any help volunteers can provide. This is a rural cooperative of 4 farmers and over 100 consumer-members. We are manufacturing dairy products such as yoghurts, fresh cheese, milk drinks, etc, using almost only regional fruits and spices. The aim is is to prove that small size regional production can work well, both ecologically and economically. We are a 10 min drive from Airlie beach in the Whitsundays with 72 islands to sail to. there are many ways a helper can help and learn about permaculture and bamboo. We are a nonprofit horse rehabilitation center that offers education on equine care. We need hands on to help with projects we are working on to complete as well as facility maintenance. Would love to have some energetic people that want to make a difference in horses lives here. It’s about helping these animals go from neglect to finding a forever home or live their lives in Sanctuary. You don't have to have experience we can teach you. If working hands on with horses is not your thing and you admire them there's lots of things you can still do to help them prepare for homes or help at the facility.
