Starting in June and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Our house and garden is in the town of Órgiva south of the historic city of Granada in the region of Andalucía. Órgiva is situated in a valley called La Alpujarra with the Sierra Nevada mountains to the north and the Sierra Lújar and Contraviesa to the south and the Mediterranean beyond. With a population of 8000, the town has ample amenities with plenty of shops, bars, banks and restaurants. Our property, La Parra ( the Vine), is in the center of town but with an unusually large garden ( 1800m2 ). The majority of help needed will be based in the garden but there may also be odd jobs around the house. We ask our helpers to work 5 hours per day 5 days a week in exchange for board and lodging (good food and great accommodation). We have a beautiful 6 hectare property in a really awesome valley. We have animals, a stream, lots of things growing. We have a large 3 bedroom house. We have a warm modern caravan for helpers to sleep in and all the other amenities are in the house. We have 3 awesome kids (only two live at home) and a great family vibe. We need help with working the land and making it as productive as we can. We need people who are hard working and take initiative. Prior experience is great but if you are a fast learner and up for a challenge then that is great too. A love of animals is definitely helpful as well.
