You can often see deer, raccoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the river’s pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. Hello, my name is Florent, I'm 45 years old, I was a chef for about twenty years, and since 2017 I've been a spirulina producer. Spirulina is a microalga that's very rich in nutrients. It's a very environmentally friendly crop, requiring little energy and no pesticides. Spirulina needs sun and warmth to grow. The harvest season in our region runs from April to October, and it's during this period that I'm interested in hosting someone (I don't need two people at the same time, one is enough). Hi! I'm Tonje and I moved to my farm in 2020. And there's always a lot to do here. This small farm is in a very small town, by the fjord in Hardanger. Its a good place for hiking and culture. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. But I need help with maintenance of the outdoor area, wood working, chopping firewood and snow shoveling.
