Kia ora koutou, we live in a three bedroom villa in Invercargill with my sixteen year old daughter, one eyed cat, two adopted stray cats. We enjoy conversations, and I can teach you some dance, qi gong, meditation, and yoga if you are interested. I enjoy meeting people from other cultures and are interested in helpxers for various DIY tasks for my older villa but am open to other creative ideas. At the moment during winter I would like someone to share their culture and cooking with my daughter and a little help with gardening - you don't need any specific skills. I prefer to have someone that would adapt to our routine. Our household is mostly vegetarian. We live close to the estuary and can occasionally watch the aurora from there. I have an interest in ecology, a masters in psychology, have traveled broadly. We have a queen bed available. I look forward to meeting and sharing a slice of life with you :)

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karatรฉ (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Tena koe, nau mai, haramai ki Tokomaru Bay, a small, predominately Maori seaside community on the East Coast. We live on a four acre lifestyle block in the peaceful Kaiawha Valley about a two minute drive from the village and the beach. There is a 4 Square Supermarket, a cafe and a tavern in the village. We have a room with a queen bed in a sleep out, with helpers own separate lounge/kitchenette. Access to washing machine. The bathroom is inside the main house located a few metres away. Most of the work we require is gardening, landscaping, milking cow, feeding animals, preserving food, servicing our Bed and Breakfast (List 1 Historic Places building) firewood, weed eating, mowing and general maintenance. (La description en franรงais se trouve plus bas !) We are a small Buddhist community living in the forest close to Sainte-Julienne, Quebec. We have an organic fruit tree nursery, along with many other projects on our land: several fruit orchards, chickens and bees, growing our own vegetables and herbs and trying to be independent in many ways. The six people who are staying are: Ajan, Eric, Veronique, Elisabeth, Natalie and Camille. Each of us have arrived here one by one, at first just interested in helping out in the place, and then as we found that this lifestyle was for us, deciding to stay for longer. For part of the year we also have a couple of employees staying with us. There is also a wonderful dog named Dali. Our organic nursery and garden occupies a land of 9 hectares, surrounded by forest. As well as the main land of the nursery, we have another smaller land where a few of us live. This is, in fact, where the community started to grow from very small beginnings in the ear...

Looking for someone who is keen to help out with our 4 children, cook some meals and do a spot of gardening. My husband (37) and I (35) own a dairy farm running 251 cows on the west coast of the South Island. We are situated right on the bush line and get a gorgeous view of the southern alps. Spring time - when the calves arrive (August - October), is our busiest time of the year. We rear all of the calves and milk the cows once a day in the morning time. We are a family of 6, our oldest daughter is 8yrs old, middle daughter 5 yrs, middle son is 3 and our youngest son is 18 months. Ideally we are looking for someone to help around the house, get the children sorted in the morning and drive the girls to the school bus, keep them entertained, do some house chores alongside that (if possible) , take them for walks/bike rides. Possibly a bit of gardening and cooking too. It can be quite a busy house at times, so keep this in mind. **Must also be able to change nappies - happy to teach ...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bikes, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter at The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, we seriously need help with the massive task of @296: gardens to create & jungle to clear ! We are keen to host people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. We have an automotive country workshop, which we have closed down to retire and now we are about to tidy up and empty our. 32 years of bits and pieces - and memories. But we still look after our little farm, some sheep and some rabbits. We are always in need of a couple of helpful hands to support us during this time of dismantling and clearing out. A mature, non-smoking, self-organized person or couple, preferable not a vegetarian, to give us a hand with house and workshop tidy up, would be the best fit. Our daily routine starts with a breakfast at around 7.30am and then we feed all the animals, especially the hungry dogs and work starts at 8.30am. We expect about 4 hours work per day and we offer a nice room with a lovely warm bed, great meals, and a reasonable amount of WiFi. Help with dishes is not regarded as work though! We do enjoy a beer or a wine after work, but we have a NO DRUGS policy. We integrate our helpers like a family member and mostly have only one or a couple...

HI, welcome to Taranaki Can you come and give us a hand in the garden and with some general house upkeep. We would appreciate some help over the next few months in our garden, you can begin anytime from now on. We need some help with ongoing garden work weeding, cutting back some hedges and smaller trees as well as general tidying up of our gardens, if itโs pouring with rain we can always find a few inside jobs that need doing. We would also like to get our veggie garden planted and our new tunnel house set up. We are a friendly couple living on a small lifestyle block near Okato, Taranaki. After living for many years in Germany some years ago returned to Taranaki and after joining this platform in September 2024, we have had some wonderful people to stay and enjoyed sharing ideas and exchanging experiences. Our farm is a dairy runoff so cows! Lots of them. We lease our property so the cows are just for looking at but we do have a small herd of deer that need daily feeding. Our work mostly involves trees including native forest and plantations, Our home environment has a large vegetable garden and loads of lawn. We are in our late 60s but don't be fooled, we do not shy away from hard work. Nearby are native forest walks and loads of places for biking. As a host we can provide 1 or 2 rooms with a private bathroom. The work that we need help with might include pest control, firewood, help building a shed and garden work. Guests need to be physically able as there will be lifting involved. A vehicle is a must as town is about 30 KMs away. I am happy to take a tour around Rotorua as part of the stay. We love having guests from All over the world and we keep in contact with many of them. Our guests have all been terrific!

We milk 70 cows, and 600 goats and work about 400 acres. Now that I have full time staff doing the majority of the milking and barn work, the work is mostly in the workshop and the fields. We always have an interesting project on the go so I particularly enjoy hosting helpers with engineering or mechanical backgrounds.. I enjoy inventing things and automation, with a well equipped (though somewhat disorganized) workshop. Planning to clear some land this summer so someone with heavy equipment experience would be great. Have a barn renovation and equipment installation coming up, so give me a shout if youโre a carpenter or mechanic! Have been hosting engineering students for their internship abroad the last few summers, has been a great experience, they are always welcome.

Cheers Al

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi.

We would like to have some help on the farm from 15th September for doing jobs and help with the animals. We are due to calve with our 3 milking girls. Then we get another 12-18 calves to feed as well. I am looking for help for 2 weeks from September. If you are interested in the work and we are getting on well, you may be asked if you are available to stay on longer. If you don't mind working in the wet or cold outside, then I would love to hear from you. We have some general farm jobs that would be great to have a bit of help with. Some fencing, painting a barn, tidying up the vegetable garden and orchard.. If you are available and keen to help out, we would love to hear back from you. We have a small lifestyle farm with all the usual animals, cows, pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, birds, fish..... We machine milk our Jersey cows for the house milk and to feed either calves or pigs. There are just the two of us here now, sometimes we have international exchange students who go to ...

About me (Josef), I was born in Switzerland and am fluent in Swiss German, I am learning Spanish and have a very limited understanding of French. I have travelled a bit myself, doing two harvest tours in the west...
