We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 primary age children) who live on a small lifestyle farm in Mahana in the Tasman region. We are 40 minutes' drive from the start of the beautiful Abel Tasman national park. The house is modern and warm and we enjoy having people from other cultures (or Kiwis) to stay. We are a busy family juggling family life, farming and other external employment. We could do with a hand around the garden and intermittently on the farm. Most work is relatively easy such as clearing weeds from banks and barked areas, running the dogs, helping with farm tasks, pruning trees etc. Other farm jobs could include helping with stock, fencing assistance and feeding animals. We can find wet weather jobs too. There is a spare room in the house where one person or a couple can stay. I also had a Yurt (now gone but the pictures are still there !!) and a campsite.
