We run a three bedroom accomodation located in the beautiful historic area of Kerikeri just up from the Stone Store. This is The Bright Daycare and kindergarten / pre-school. It was established in 2021. The project has two programs running together, helping the disadvantage group by providing education to children from 2 to 5 years and providing accomodations for secondary student girls from poor families coming from far away aged 12 to 18. The purpose of the project is to provide Early Childhood development together with preschool education and giving student facilities for girls coming from poor or problematic families many times both. They stays in Mafinga Iringa in Tanzania. We work with volunteers, three teachers and matrone- madame who is also a cooking chef, and the school van driver. It's part of a network active in this area which connects all the people living around that have chosen the natural farming as their way to freedom. I'm 50 years old and i live one and half km away from Tufillo in a three hectares property. An open space for those who love nature, natural farming, art, and the sharing of goods, knowledge and experience. We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. Having lived off-grid in various locations over the past 20 years, I am based in the heart of the Languedoc Roussilon region (The worlds largest wine area). I currently have the basics set up in my re-purposed barn, including solar paneled electricity, fridge, charging for phones, laptops during day. Composting toilet, separate ladies no 1s toilet. Simple showers, we fill with buckets water from river. That warms quickly in the Mediterranean sun or you can heat hot water over our cooking fire. We also use a gas hob for cooking and hot drinks only. We get a good 4 and 5 g signal here. I am happy to pick someone from the Albury railway station. Albury is a pretty town on the Hume Highway. It is inland on the Murray River and there are a lot of local attractions, vineyards, historical small towns, snow fields and many more, only a few hours drive. I am located in town, with the railway station and the airport not too far, about 15minutes drive. I am fully vaccinated and require the same of a helper. We farm sheep and beef in the heart of the Catlins, in Tawanui at the start of the popular Catlins river walk. The farm consists of sheep, cattle, four rideable horses and some coloured pet Gotland sheep along with an array of wild deer roaming the hill. Help will consist of some stock work, some fencing, maintenance of all sorts, gardening, firewood and general helping around the house. Always having fun and a good laugh as we work.
