Hello everyone! My name is Bird, I was working in Chiang-Mai as a photographer for 2 years then decided to become a farmer and create a Thai traditional agriculture permaculture farm in 2018. I wish to create a relaxing place that allows people from all over the world to take their time to experience life in harmony with nature. I also have four water buffalo on our farm, named Tony, Laura, Hanna and Charlie. We are a local family with a desire to preserve our simple, sustainable way of life so that we can give back to and protect mother earth. Our farm is located in Pua city, 70km north of Nan province surrounded by the mountains and rice fields, in Northern Thailand. The farm is set on 1.5 acres of land with vegetable gardens, rice paddies, farm stay and pizza restaurant. Currently, we have done with natural buildings on the farm, including bamboo huts, fences, and wooden houses. “Life is better with a Buffalo” is our farm goal and “Happiness only real when shared “ is our motto. Y...

I am interested in hearing from suitable single female helpers that are able to stay around a minimum of 3-4 weeks and can assist with care and maintenance of my sailing catamaran and home. My preference for female helpers is largely to do with the type of work you will perform and attention to detail that is required. When I have work that is better suited to males I will advertise as such….just not needed now. I have availability from July-ish cruising from Northern coastal Qld...To be advised...possibly Lizard island, Cooktown or Cairns... towards the Whitsundays or somewhere south You will be an active, motivated person interested in marine life, reefs, turtles, fishing, snorkeling and the ocean as well as wanting to experience life on a comfortable sailing boat. I ask you to volunteer a few hours work each day in return for your own ensuite cabin with all meals provided while aboard. The work you will perform is mostly helping to keep the catamaran clean and tidy with wax an...

EXPECTATIONS Enthusiastic, trustworthy English-speaking helpers who enjoy a laugh, are practical and can work INDEPENDENTLY. There are several varied DIY projects on the go. Most of the work is outside, you need to be physically fit and prepared for manual labour. Do you know how to use a drill, a drop saw, a sander and an angle grinder? Looking for assistance NOW and from late March through summer 26. We moved north from Vancouver to escape the noise and the craziness and to find a spot to live in beauty. We found one and now are on the edge of nothing but more nothing all 400 km to the Pacific. We are 20 km outside of a small town halfway between nowhere and not much. Sharing that is a pleasure. Nearly everything we do now is in support of one thrill: adventures in food. But rural living out here in mid-nowhere means that there are endless other things to be tasked as well: construction, gardening, maintenance of many sorts, enhancing the natural beauty around us. Chances are that if you could describe a pure-fun, physical job, there would be something here I could offer that might satisfy those urges. If you want to work hard, eat marvelous meals and have a fabulous time in the gardens, the workshop and the kitchen, come join us and get a relaxing feel of rural life. PLUS, for all you thrill seekers/amateurs des s...

Kia ora, we live in a lovely peaceful area of Auckland with our property on the edge of a regenerating bush park & only 10 mins walk from beautiful sandy beaches on the North Shore of the city. It feels like we live in the country but we are in the city. We have loved living here for the last 25+ years so we built a new home 5 years ago. Our children are now married or out exploring the world. We are seeking help from a couple for a week around the end of July - beginning of August 2026 with house cleaning, weeding, gardening and odd jobs In exchange for approx 4 hours help per day. We offer you full board and a new guest bedroom upstairs. A small gym is available. The room only has a double bed so we are looking for a couple. There is a good bus route only 2 mins walk away. We look forward to meeting you and sharing some time together. Kind regards, Greg and Donna

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing, and energizing our own water though Ionisation. Water conservation is part of life for me. You can come to Maryborough via plane, bus or train. The Hervey Bay Airport is only 30min from my home. There are meanwhile several bus companies to choose from. If you use the train please book Maryborough town from the drop down menu. The shuttle bus from the train station in Maryborough west (20 min out of town) is free of charge if it is pre-booked. As international travelers you qualify for a concession card on Queensland trai...

Hi there. We're looking for help with some gardening tasks and painting on the outside of our house. My husband is also looking at building some back garden steps, so if anyone has building experience to help him with that, that would be amazing. We have availability for people to stay from around the 14th July onwards, We live in the Morningside/Kingsland area which is very central and has great shopping, cafes, pubs and bars. We're a few minutes' walk from the train station and local bus routes. We have two downstairs spare bedrooms so can accommodate up to 4 people. One bedroom has an ensuite and small kitchenette. There is separate external access to the downstairs rooms but also internal stairs up to where we live with our two small children. We also have a small, very excitable Spoodle who barks a lot, so you must be ok with dogs. The whole house was newly renovated a few years ago so is a lovely space with great views over Auckland. We're happy to provide breakfast and ...

We are an older couple with a Small 28 acre developing, off grid farm located 20 km from Dawson City Yukon on the banks of the beautiful Klondike River, which must be crossed in either a motor boat or canoe. We have gardens, chickens, dog and 2 cats. During the 2026 season there will be weeding and harvesting the gardens and greenhouses, cutting firewood, picking berries for jams, pickling and preserving vegetables and carpenter work. Our building project for the year is to turn a existing building into a year around apartment and a woodshed and possibly replace the roof on our house. We have a small sawmill for cutting the lumber we need for said projects. We enjoy learning from our helpers about the country and culture they are from. We use organic principles and practices in our growing and animal care but are not registered or certified. In exchange for help on these projects we have a holiday trailer and/or a bedroom in a separate building from our house for you to live...

We started our Vineyard back in 2004, it is located in a Beautiful,Quiet,Valley along the bluffs of the Mississippi River. We have five children that have now grown and moved out on there own. I just retired from a career of Process Instrument Work at the local power plant. I could use some help with the Vineyard and Gardens, but also enjoy fishing and boating on the river in the evenings and of course days off. We would be willing to supply your own bedroom, great meals and WiFi. We also have two Female Collies that love to get brushed and played with. The ideal person would have to be able to work on there own or in a small group, after some training of course to get you up to your comfort level, so as you basically understand what the goals might be for the time of year and tasks at hand, a five hour day,if the weather permits, is what we usually work . There might be a few longer days, but I`m sure that having time off to check out the area won`t be any problem. If you would care t...

(La description en français se trouve plus bas !) We are a small Buddhist community living in the forest close to Sainte-Julienne, Quebec. We have an organic fruit tree nursery, along with many other projects on our land: several fruit orchards, chickens and bees, growing our own vegetables and herbs and trying to be independent in many ways. The six people who are staying are: Ajan, Eric, Veronique, Elisabeth, Natalie and Camille. Each of us have arrived here one by one, at first just interested in helping out in the place, and then as we found that this lifestyle was for us, deciding to stay for longer. For part of the year we also have a couple of employees staying with us. There is also a wonderful dog named Dali. Our organic nursery and garden occupies a land of 9 hectares, surrounded by forest. As well as the main land of the nursery, we have another smaller land where a few of us live. This is, in fact, where the community started to grow from very small beginnings in the ear...

This is a good mix - looking after trees, garden, house and each other; making music; preserving fruit, etc We - meaning us two, Ian and Eva - love WWOOFers who enjoy what we are doing, and want to be friendly and part of the family. Eva is a Homoeopath, Ian is an Engineer, we both love to sing, eat, and share good food, and have fun with friendly woofers. The house is surrounded by green hills, with some of Nelson's best bike tracks and walks right next to us. We love cooking and sharing meals. We can talk with you in English, French or German No Smo...

Our home is our little piece of paradise. We look out over the Mahau Sound. There are kayaks so you can explore the Mahau Sound. You will get a wet bottom but the time spent exploring will make that worth while. At night time it is a short walk to see the glow worms sprinkled along the banks at the top of the drive. Your bed is comfortable, the washing machine is there for you to use, and the food is great. Luna will love it if you throw her stick so she can chase it. There is always something to do here. Getting rid of wilding pines is our next main project. Weeding, watering, planting, clearing the tracks of fallen leaves and fern fronds etc. On the track to Lone Pine Point we are revitalising the bank and have been planting native plants. We use a lot of firewood during the cooler months so firewood will be on the job list, if Brian has cut down a tree. If it is raining then we will organise some inside jobs. Maybe a bit of interior painting. It is preferred that you have ...

Summer openings July 7th forward:) Wow, exploring right outside our backdoor along side the Campbell River on Vancouver Island, is a beautiful place to experience Vancouver Island`s great outdoors this SUMMER with all the wild life right in our back yard :) Although we live on a one acre town lot, our back yard is situated on a cliff over looking an accessible beautiful heritage river, with a nature park setting of ferns, Douglas fir, maple and alder trees. You can often see deer, raccoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the river’s pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. As well, our neighborhood is the access point to many scenic nature hiking, walking and biking trails. The ocean photo was taken a couple of miles from my home and all other photos a...

This is for those of you who plan ahead. We are full until mid July, right at the start of our best fishing season and in the middle of our best weather when at least some of the time we should be cutting great timber from unwanted trees using a 26 inch/56cm bandsaw. So anyone who loves fishing, snorkelling on inshore reefs and is good at DIY or carpentry and loves the simple, quiet, rural life by the beach, next to the rainforest, this is for you 🤗. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not really necessary, learn o...

Permaculture project with idea and space to create an eco-village. The quinta is located in Alto Alentejo 2km from Portalegre. 15 hectares with magical forests and a beautiful valley provided by seventeen sources and several mines with healthy water where too people live permanently for the moment,Isabel, a communication manager and Michel, a carpenter who is the founder of the project. There is also one dog, five cats, for chickens and six sheep. The project is now in the phase when it’s open so that more people can live here. Because parts of the ruins are ready for occupancy, there is space for people who want to stay longer, which can bring new and stronger dynamics throughout the year, not like before, when there was only a lot going on in the summer months. So far there is already a beautiful gardens going on and numerous species of plants, shrubs and trees which deliver us plenty of food. We are happy when someone shows enthusiasm for the garden because this is a central part...

Student Accommodation and Digital Music Studio in Oxford - Hi there - I have 2 houses where I provide accommodation for international students - I have 1 or 2 students in each house for long lets and often couch-surfers for 1/2 nights - Oxford is a great international and multi-cultural study centre and its easy to feel at home in this city. The students and professionals who live with me are normally University students at all levels - They are usually independent and busy with their studies/research - so this is not like a hostel - but they are happy to have a coffee and chat when they are around.
For Helpers - I accept students and workers and international travellers - those who are looking for a change of lifestyle whether just for a few weeks or as part of a longer term adventure in international travel. Here I need a helper to assist me in both houses in basic house-keeping duties - cleaning, some house repairs, gardening, food preparation, etc.   In connection with the stu...

We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. There are also several other islands nearby that can be explored including North Stradbroke Island that has wonderful beaches and walks and lots of wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, turtles and dolphin and - from June to October - humpback whales. Over the next two years we will renovate and paint the home, install new kitchen and two bathrooms. Graham has some woodworking skill but needs help during that time with various tasks and we are willing to give you a comfortable bed, good food and company and access to bathroom and washing machine in exchange for 4 hours help per day, 5 days per week. Our preference is for a single person or couple who have some skil...

Ipswich is a lovely place in itself and is about an hours drive to Brisbane, about an hour to the Gold Coast, about an hour and a half to the Sunshine Coast or about an hour to the mountains in Toowoomba. Many visitors to Australia assume it will be hot here and in summer it is, in winter the temperature can be very cold. Make sure to pack some warm winter clothing if travelling in the winter months. I don't have fans or air conditioning so the temperature is what it is. It's hot in summer and cold in winter. Electricity has become too expensive for me to run appliances. I am not on a farm, it is a residential block in Ipswich. My house is small and cluttered and surrounded by trees. I need help to clean my home as I am always busy doing other things or visiting my son interstate and the work is too much for me on my own. I haven't had a helper since last September so I have lots of stuff that needs doing. You have access to the kitchen and bathroom upstairs. There are a few outdo...

We are a family run home, perfect for the 1st time volunteer. Natural horsemanship is a real factor here if you want to learn more. Our mentors being Buck Brannaman, Steve Halfpenny and Ken Falkner. A safe environment for your 1st time away from home. You do not need any knowledge of horses but you do need to love dogs, they are a major part of the family and are constantly with us all 8 of them, dalmations, vizslas and 2 weimararners, and they do jump all over you. Constant appaloosas is a small holding where we breed and train horses for ourselves and occasionally others. We have help exchange programs running throughout the year for interested students of all ages. Vet students get a really good grounding here. What we expect from you, conduct yourself in an open and friendly manner, engage in all aspects of life on the farm and seize all opportunities with enthusiasm, avoid rude and disrespectful behaviour to people horses and dogs. Basically show respect to people and our home,...

** as of 22nd June we are looking for a helper to start round 9th July for an approx 2 week stay ** Your time here counts towards the 88 days working visa requirements as we are in a declared natural disaster region. We are a family in rural Australia who have helpers (only 1 helper at any one time) stay with us from time to time. Our experience has been that shorter stays of 2-3 weeks work best for our situation. We live on a beautiful property on the Nymboida River, a 15 minute drive from the town of Dorrigo and 40 minutes drive from Bellingen. We offer a luxurious, self contained cottage which is adjacent to our house but is also privately positioned. We have young children and enjoy meeting new people. We have a great swimming hole on the river (that we share with platypus and other creatures) and there are kayaks to use. Our wood fired sauna is a great way to end the day :) Our property is teeming with wildlife and 7 riverside hectares are set aside as a conservation area in...

We are Sunny from China and Jeff from New York and we live in a small town in Oklahoma called Olustee of about 500 people. Nearby is a city called Altus of 19,000 people with stores, bars, restaurants and entertainment. You are invited to our place, either just to visit or to stay and help out. We have 4 bedrooms for travelers and helpers in our guest house available for you (can accommodate probably up to 10 people) and there is also a game room, swimming pool (in the summer) and basketball court on the property. We also have campgrounds with a fire pit and tents. We would like help with cleaning of guest rooms, cooking, painting of walls and murals, some light construction work (very simple, you don't need to know anything), fixing bicycles for the neighborhood kids as well as maintaining the pool (in the summer). We have been doing this for about 15 years now and had guests from all over the world stay with us. We can show you around this part of Oklahoma and you are welcome to expl...

We are a group of friends who decided three years ago to restore a beautiful old village/motel in Jindabyne. We are looking for like minded individuals who are passionate about restoration/building and maintenance, love nature and have a good nature and willing to share a laugh over some good food. We have hosted people from all around the world, including all over Europe, Asia, North and South America. The motel is a 5-minute drive from local amenities such as supermarkets, shops, pubs, and a skate park. From June to September there are plenty of winter activities including skiing, tobogganing, and snowboarding at nearby ski resorts, just 30 minutes away. In summer, there are plenty of hikes, mountain biking, fishing, as well as the beach at Jindabyne Lake, Blue Lake and we are 30 minutes from the tallest mountain in Australia- Mount Koscioscko. Yarrangobilly Caves and nearby thermal pools are about one hour away. Our beautiful site features a serene river, where you can go...

We can't wait to meet you in the Cotswolds! We have a large Georgian Farmhouse just outside Castle Combe - one of Englands most beautiful Cotswolds villages, which was used as the location for Stephen Spielberg`s movie `War Horse` and many other famous TV and film titles. We operate as a Guest House and also have three self catering cottages in the grounds. Guests can have afternoon tea here which is all home made using mostly our own home grown vegetables and fruit which we produce on our land. We are looking for helpers throughout the year to assist with all the day to day organisation such as cleaning, bed making, gardening, DIY, waiting at table etc and we usually prefer if you can stay three weeks or longer. We have a lovely Vintage Shepherds Hut where our helpers sleep during the summer months. In the winter we have a cosy room in the Farmhouse available. We would really like someone who enjoys cooking, house keeping and home maintenance together with all aspect of the hospitali...
