This is only the second school in Nagarkot, nice Nepalese village in Bhaktapur district; a 1.5 hrs bus ride from Kathmandu. It hopes to provide an English medium education for underprivileged children. The school has 7 staff members taking care of its 80+ students - aged from 4 to 12 years old - and would benefit from any help volunteers can provide. With over 30 years of experience, we organise horseback treks through some of Andalusia's most stunning and off-the-beaten-path landscapes. We are looking for motivated helpers to assist with horse care, stable maintenance, and various tasks around the property including cleaning, repairing, taking care of the other animals. If you're a horse rider, you may help with horse treks as well. You will have your own accommodation in a little house among the horses, with all the essentials (water, electricity, network, cooking facilities, etc). If you don't have your own transport, since we are situated in the Bubion village, you can access by foot a small supermarket & a pharmacy. There's also a bus line.

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. Nearby is a city called Altus of 19,000 people with stores, bars, restaurants and entertainment. You are invited to our place, either just to visit or to stay and help out.
