Namaste! Welcome to our farm and family. We are established as small organic farmers with our parents since 1995, working with Himalayan Permaculture Center based in Surkhet (western part of Nepal). We are a permaculture family with two generation, three of us have our PDC but we are all invested in our land. We are five and three of us speak quite good English but our parent English is simpler, so you will learn some Nepali! If you want to discover the traditional Nepali lifestyle and learn about culture and festival in the Katmandu valley, and also in the same time learn and share your knowledge about permaculture, you are at the good place! Only fifteen minutes by taxi from Thamel (you can also come by bus). You are more than welcome in this nice place that looks like a village. On our land, we grow many different classic vegetables (Tomato, cucumber, peas, potato, onion, garlic…) and we also grow some cereals (wheat, rice…) using Fukuoka system(No Tilling Farming) and System of R...

I live in a house in the Beaujolais with cherry orchards, vines, horses in the field opposite - it's very peaceful here. I'm English, speak fluent French, and a bit of Spanish and Italian. A mother of three and a grandmother, I’m lucky in that I’m still ‘with-it’, keeping up with the ways life evolves... I’ve travelled the world, meeting and staying with local people, learning their ways of life and their cultures. I'm 'international', and enjoy meeting people wherever they're from, and have friends from 18 to 90. The ideas and ideals of HelpX are great, and can help build relationships across and around the world. If everyone contributes in that same light... I do my bit as best I can! There are buses every half hour south to Lyon 25km, and north to Villefranche-sur-Saône 13km. The area is very beautiful, and I can show you some local classified villages. Please don't hesitate to get in touch, I really would appreciate (your) help, and the exchanges we can have.I look forward to ...

Wonderful opportunity !…..Looking for a single person or couple (ideally aged early-mid 20s or older) to help out with a variety of jobs from late May 2026 throughout the summer for one or two week stays. (length of stay can be discussed and agreed). There will be jobs outside mainly tidying up the garden, where there are flower and vegetable beds, as well as fruit trees, + some indoor and outdoor painting. You will be the kind of person who enjoys being outdoors for most of the day (all weathers). Ideal for those interested in garden design and who enjoy being in a rural environment. When it’s raining there’ll be some indoor jobs to do - DIY, cleaning and general household tasks/maintenance. Ideal for person with practical skills. Approximately 25 hours per week, with two clear rest days which can be taken individually or together, depending on the weather! I run Air BnB and 1:1 English language courses from my farmhouse in the Norfolk countryside, a short drive from the...

I'm on 200 acres of beautiful rainforest in the mountains of the Port Macquarie hinterland. A mix of pastures and thick rainforest. Creek and waterfall, surrounded by national park, completely immersed in nature. I am looking for someone to help with light work around the farm, so want to finish off some small projects, get the gardens organised and general tidy up. Nothing strenuous I am having surgery and will need a hand to do these small chores. I'm a retired veterinarian, have built this house, can do mechanical work and now farmer so I'm happy to share any skills I have if you are interested It would be great if you had an interest in cooking so we could share it and exchange some recipes, I love food and love being introduced to new ideas I prefer a mature age person who has done Woofing/Helpx/Work away before on rural properties A self starter who enjoys this lifestyle, has energy and enthusiasm Internet is good now with Starlink Someone who has already had farm living...

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bike,(s), pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter to The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, we seriously need help with the massive task of #296: gardens to create&jungle to clear ! We are keen to host people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. When Debs & I started hosting in 2025 we moved to the sleepout making it possible to host helpers hopefully from different cultures in the house. ...

Where I live is Australia's best kept secret. I'm close to deserted beaches, the Snowy River, lakes and mountains. I live here with 2 horses and a miniature horse and the abundant wildlife that calls this place home. I am surrounded by millions of hectares of State Forest, National Parks and Coastal Reserve and there is a huge State Forest just up the road. I am a long term vegetarian. I am well travelled. Very happy to accommodate gay people though I'm not gay myself. Accommodation is in a caravan with a very comfortable double bed, fridge, stove etc. Every evening 50 or so kangaroos graze in my neighbour's paddock and that will be your view. It really is idyllic. This is a tranquil place. A Spiritual place. A place to come and rest and recharge your batteries. Lots of native birds and animals call my place home. I need a very experienced horse rider to help me with the Australian Stock Horse I'm starting. I'm on my own here so it's a safety issue for me. Once she'...

Kia Ora travellers! I live with my dog, Nala, in a beautiful big and warm house on a 27 acre life style block with native bush and a little creek. I have an organic vegetable garden and orchard growing fresh vegetables, hazelnuts, walnuts and chestnuts. You can also enjoy great views of the Banks Peninsula from here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s only 1 hour away from Christchurch city and 30 mins from Akaroa, a lovely seaside town with a rich French heritage. I used to be a Tour Guide for overseas tourists, so I know every nook and cranny of the Great Aotearoa. I would be happy to share with you our culture, history and many stories. I also used to host overseas backpackers when living in Christchurch and I always enjoy having company and learning about cultural differences. There is plenty to do to keep busy and be creative - planting trees, pruning, cleaning up bonfires, getting stuck into the big garden. Work hours are flexible and will be max 4 hours (mos...

We are a family of four - Todd, Kate, Wimitja (19) and Kinyin (16). We are in the Adelaide Hills but only 20-25 minutes from the city center. Non smokers only. It's a happy spot here! It is such an amazing time of year here in Summer - it is all going on in the garden and in the bush! And the Fringe and Festival are soon to start! The hills are very beautiful. On May 8th I am moving to the Sydney suburb of Wollstonecraft which is 10 - 15 mins by suburban train from the centre of the city and about 10 minutes walk from both Wollstonecraft and Crows Nest stations. 15 Minutes from St Leonards station. Trains go into the city at least every 10 minutes - often more than that. At this point I am looking for one or 2 people from the 11th for a week. You could come earlier but..... I am fully vaccinated and require the same of a helper. Before you read further - I only take Non-smokers (meaning you do not smoke at all - not that you smoke outside). This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht. I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay. My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house ...

I am seeking mature travellers who are travelling around the South West in their own Camper Van or Car with tent etc. Traveller/helpers need to be self contained but I provide access to clean toilet and shower facilities. I have some really nice set up camp sites here - the sites are private, clean, safe and located in beautiful natural bushland settings. If you would like to come, stay and help me here, please send me a message ! I can usually help traveller/helpers locate many other things.., like possible work services, free food services and access to various beaches etc. I like to show people how they can live on the land sustainably, how they can build their own sustainable homes and grow their own food...., using what is around them, to adapt to their environment and adopt permaculture principals to suit their own needs. I have lived on my own little permaculture farm beside the Leeuwin/Naturaliste National Park forest since 1982. I have built my own home using local gra...

Hello everyone! My name is Bird, I was working in Chiang-Mai as a photographer for 2 years then decided to become a farmer and create a Thai traditional agriculture permaculture farm in 2018. I wish to create a relaxing place that allows people from all over the world to take their time to experience life in harmony with nature. I also have four water buffalo on our farm, named Tony, Laura, Hanna and Charlie. We are a local family with a desire to preserve our simple, sustainable way of life so that we can give back to and protect mother earth. Our farm is located in Pua city, 70km north of Nan province surrounded by the mountains and rice fields, in Northern Thailand. The farm is set on 1.5 acres of land with vegetable gardens, rice paddies, farm stay and pizza restaurant. Currently, we have done with natural buildings on the farm, including bamboo huts, fences, and wooden houses. “Life is better with a Buffalo” is our farm goal and “Happiness only real when shared “ is our motto. Ciao tutti, We have a villa from the 1960s designed by a well-known Italian architect. It hadn't been lived in for many years and is now up and running as a rental. At the moment, we're looking for a couple or someone that can help us during June, July or August (which are our busiest months). Our villa is located in a small charming town near Lake Como. Our property has lake and mountain views on one side, and forest views on another. There are 3 floors, all of which have views of the lake, including the bottom floor which is a two bedroom apartment where the manager and helpxers live. The skills that we are looking for is someone who enjoys gardening, someone who knows how to clean whenever necessary or someone who can fix things that break. Most importantly, we appreciate someone that has a positive attitude, is hardworking and is willing to help whenever its needed! The manager of the villa is Luiggi, a Colombian/American 29yo who has been working with us for many years no...

Looking for assistance NOW and from late March through summer 26. We moved north from Vancouver to escape the noise and the craziness and to find a spot to live in beauty. We found one and now are on the edge of nothing but more nothing all 400 km to the Pacific. We are 20 km outside of a small town halfway between nowhere and not much. Sharing that is a pleasure. Nearly everything we do now is in support of one thrill: adventures in food. But rural living out here in mid-nowhere means that there are endless other things to be tasked as well: construction, gardening, maintenance of many sorts, enhancing the natural beauty around us. Chances are that if you could describe a pure-fun, physical job, there would be something here I could offer that might satisfy those urges. If you want to work hard, eat marvelous meals and have a fabulous time in the gardens, the workshop and the kitchen, come join us and get a relaxing feel of rural life. PLUS, for all you thrill seekers/amateurs des s...

We have a property located within walking distance of Fremantle centre near the river , grocery stores and public transport as well as a local coffee strip. You would have the whole house self-contained with kitchen and bathroom. The helping exchange arrangement would be helping with repairs, landscaping, painting etc. Fremantle cottage is on quarry st if you want to check location. It would be useful if you have had some experience with painting and renovation as we are trying to bring a property in for a sale this year. it would suit someone who would like some peace and quiet because it lacks entertainment facilities such as stereos and TVs at the moment. Sorry, we don’t really provide long term bookings for people who are working. We do know of opportunities for those looking for this and are happy to assist. 2 hours a day would be fine and although food is not provided shopping is handy.

We also have a recording studio, spa and offer public sound healing ceremonies. We have a work exchange program and are looking for support staff for our yoga retreats. We require a minimum of 1-month commitment (preferably 2 months) with 20 hours per week. In exchange, we offer accommodations, breakfast daily and vegetarian lunch during retreats, and classes. We mainly host women helpers. Duties may include ... Gardening and landscaping, Housekeeping and Breakfast Prep, Social media
