I have a wonderful lifestyle block in central Waikato full of productive trees and animals. My focus is on producing healthy, nutrient-dense food in an environmentally sustainable and ethical manner. That may sound like a lot of multi-syllable boxes to tick, but it comes down to common sense and logic and knowing the consequences of your interactions wtih nature. Its a peaceful and sunny place near the beach, Wellington train and walking trails, shops 20 minute walk - on the Kāpiti Coast. There are several cats, that are calm and friendly and that are used to a routine ( kept in at night). So cat experience and rapport is essential. Ideally you would be home quite a bit too.
