I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

🏔️ Help Wanted: Alpine Farm Restoration & Lambing Season! Location: Lower Austria (Rax Mountain/Schneeberg area) Vibe: International, hard-working, family-oriented, and authentic. Our community is a vibrant, international bunch with Austrian and Middle Eastern roots, often joined by friends from all over the world. Currently, the farm is managed by Feri (43) and Lise (50). The children, Layla (12) and Aisha (10), are a big part of our lives and visit regularly on weekends and holidays. The Mission: We are living the dream on a 150-year-old estate in a stunning water protection area, but to be honest—last year was a rollercoaster. After a family tragedy and a brutal winter that froze our pipes and tractors, our "to-do" list has grown into a mountain. We are currently in a major transition and reorganization phase. We’re bringing this historic farm back to life, and we need motivated, physically fit people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty (and maybe a little muddy). What...

Hello kind stranger! Our names are Claire and Michiel, we're a young Franco-Belgian family living on an old farmstead near the coast of Wissant, North of France. For 8 years now we are bringing the old farmhouses back to life, while also bringing up our two daughters: Fleur (5 yo) and Perle (3 yo). We've been hosts since 2021 and we love the life that a group of volunteers brings to our place. Making you discover French culture, nature and the sea helps us to enjoy it even more ourselves. Teaching French and picking up on your languages widens our world view and helps our kids to be future globetrotters - like you! The different nationalities we're welcoming make us feel like travelling the world while staying at home. Every day we're hosting, it widens our horizon and gives us love, laughter and friendship. So far we've made an old stable into our home, we've renovated a 'longère' (long farmbuilding) into a woodworker's workshop, our workshop and office space, we've landscaped the c...

Hello! Welcome to our Farm!! Our farm sits on a beautiful piece of land with a variety of very sweet animals, we know we are so lucky to have what we have and decided to share our treasures with everyone. Our goal is to make a difference to the earth we live on, the people we interact with and the animals we share this planet with. We have turned our farm into a petting zoo and Airbnb. We have a variety of tasks around the farm from daily animal care to building projects and everything in between, there will always be something that suits your talents! And if you think you have none (talents) don’t worry, we will dig them out if you! We want you to come to our farm as guests wanting to help with our cause of creating a place that helps people reconnect with animals and nature. Spring/Summer season in Swedish Lapland 🇸🇪 ________________________________________________________ I'm a German woman (59) and I'm living in Swedish Lapland since 8 years and working as a nurse. I'm looking for a dogsitter while I'm at work. My 4 Huskies enjoy hiking in the spring/summer and taking a bath in the lake or river close by. They get fed twice a day and the kennel need to be kept clean. Cuddlings are always very welcome. I would be happy to cook together and keep the house clean. It would be a great pleasure if you are a handyman, carpenter and /or electrician, but it's not a "must". What can you do here? Hiking in the beautiful forest area with the dogs. Bicycling or renting a canoe from my next neighbor (3 km away). And when I have days off from work, we can do things together a little further away or visiting some friends. If you are traveling by car you are of course more flexible on site. Otherwise it's easy to travel by plane or train. Looking forwar...

Hi there! I'm Oscar and I've been running a kind of cafe where Koreans and foreigners can meet up to learn their own culture and experience while having a conversation in English. This cafe doesn't actually sell coffee or tea but we do provide them with a great chance to make local friends for those who are from all over the world. As we are a kind of language cafe, it is all spoken in English which means we need someone who can speak a good English. This cafe is for Koreans who want to practice English with foreigners and build good friendships. We welcome whoever open minded to the diversity and various cultures. To respect each other is really important since we have all different nationalities. It doesn't really matter though you're not from English speaking counties as long as you have a good English speaking level because you will have a conversation with Koreans in English about a lot of interesting topics and share your idea with them. It's normally 18 hrs a week sometimes ...

Sorry folks, but we are now fully booked until the beginning of September 2026. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, self defense, jewellery making, or help Tony with his self defense book and video courses, we could be a great match. Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. It is surrounded scraggy mountains and long valley walks. It is perfect for hiking or just relaxing in the sun with a good book. Within easy traveling distance for those interested in exploring this culturally rich island, is the seaside town of Cefalù or even the main capital city of Palermo, both are easily accessible by bus and train from the lo...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

We are located on the Vatnsnes Peninsula, 25km north of road no. 1. Ósar ocean beach is full of life. Seals abound and also eider ducks and other birds, and the rock Hvítserkur, which resembles a prehistoric Dinosaur, is within walking distance. The unspoiled nature, peaceful environment and a variety of recreation opportunities makes this an ideal place. In only about 5 min walk you are in unusually close contact with nature. Here guests can see a number of different birds and one of Iceland`s biggest colonies of seals, swimming only a few meters from the beach. We are offering a help exchange, we are offering helpers to come and stay with us in exchange for help on the farm, or with the Hostel.. That could be helping cleaning rooms, or doing reception, on the farm it could be fence work, or helping with the animals. A superb place for nature lovers

We are a couple with a young child that connected through our passion for nature, self-discovery and self-sufficiency. The objectives of the project are: to know the human being that we are in its entirety. Approach the natural environment trying to maintain the principles of permaculture, integrating and contributing what we can to improve the environment. The spread of this way of life, as an alternative way to change things. It is an ideal place for those who want to have a good experience in contact with nature, surrounded by forest and life everywhere. We offer the opportunity to learn how to live "off-grid", generating our own electricity, heating, water supply, food, natural medicine, health maintenance and quality of life. In short, being as self-sufficient as possible and being able to spend more time on self-knowledge. The place is a 1.3ha property full of olive trees, pines, oaks and berry bushes. Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bike, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter to The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, we seriously need help with the massive task of #296: gardens to create&jungle to clear ! We are keen to host people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. When Debs & I started hosting in 2025 we moved to the sleepout making it possible to host helpers hopefully from different cultures in the house. The ...

We've been at the house for three years but health issues & protracted (and problematic!) building works have left me struggling to get the orchard & garden up to scratch. We're on the edge of the Somerset Levels, and have a quarter acre 'house garden' and 1.25 acres of orchard, with 50+ apple, pear, plum and cherry trees (a fair few being cider apple!). There's loads to do, from tidying the garden to dealing with runaway brambles, to fencing/digging/weeding the veg plot, making headway restoring our natural pond, checking the sheep hasn't knocked down his fence (again) planting & fencing soft fruit, etc etc! Depending on the season there's usually preserving going on too. Maintenance chores inside the garage, the various sheds, the greenhouses - they're only two small ones - and poly tunnel can all be left for any wet days. The house has a spare room which would be yours, there's a shared bathroom, and there's generally loads of indoor space though we may still be juggling furniture...

Hello. I’m Paolo, a recently retired musician. I live in a mountain area made of rounded, wooded peaks in the inland of the Italian Riviera, at the point of connection between two regions, Tuscany and Liguria, widely renown for art towns (Pisa, Lucca, Florence among others) and picturesque fishing villages. It’s a quiet setting to get away from it all, with a 360 degree view stretching for tens of miles and right down to the Mediterranean Sea, only 25 km/15 miles away. Here is where the Alta Via (High Route of the Ligurian Mountains) starts, a long-distance waymarked hiking trail for nature lovers. I speak Italian (native), English (fluent) and French (fluent). I’m looking for volunteers who are self-motivated and good with their hands, willing to help me with general maintenance around my property in exchange for food and lodging in a friendly environment. I appreciate a baggage of life experience that is not too small, so volunteers in their mid to late twenties at least and in t...

We are looking for a couple or two friends to stay for a couple of weeks or more if agreed. We are maintaining our property for sale and we need to keep in condition. There is work removing trees, tidying up the garden and removing debris from the fires and recent storms. There is also cleaning work helping Cate with property management. During free time you are welcome to borrow our electric scooters and go swimming and exploring. We live in Mallacoota, one of Australia's most beautiful places on the southeast coast. It is a World Biosphere Reserve in the middle of the Croajingolong National Park next to the ocean with an estuarine lake system and many, many beaches. We are 2km from the town centre and 3km from the nearest beach. There are about seven magnificent beaches within 10km of us. One thing I can advise helpers who want to get a placement with any host is to have at least one PICTURE of YOURSELF. Just as you like to "see" who and where you are coming, hosts like to see who they are opening their home to. It's winter now, so we won't be working outside. I need someone right away to help with small handyman jobs or selling online eg: eBay, marketplace etc. Knowledge of Carpentry and Plumbing are always appreciated. Car mechanics are always helpful. I would really appreciate someone who can do handyman jobs and wants to come for a week or two. I sell things online and on eBay and would love someone who is good at writing descriptions in English. I have a large house and property in a diverse area of Staten Island, New York that I`m always working on. I plant a vegetable garden in the spring using the square foot gardening method. A friend and I rebuilt the whole house on the inside including jacking it up and replacing the foundation, sills and beams so ther...

Our holding overlooks the Burren region of Co Clare. Miriam has an extensive horticultural garden and is a Knitwear designer for a living . Robin is a beekeeper. We also have a small flock of sheep and three dogs. We both sell our goods in the Galway city St Nicholas market. Helpers get their own room in the house. Right now we could use help with woodland work, planting trees and general Spring gardening work.

Most work here is of the off-season Autumn/Winter kind. And over the summer our variable schedules mean it is often not feasible to plan hosting Helpx people too far in advance. CURRENT JOBS are all outdoors - Help redraw and remake a grass labyrinth. Clear overgrown steps and pathways. Cutting down overgrown gorse/furze/whins. Cutting back emerging briars Help make a little landing stage on the shore. Clearing around trees. Collect fallen and pruned branches from garden Use chop saw to cut up firewood. Some indoor wall painting. There is also the possibility of minding, feeding and walking 2 dogs if I go away for a night or two. There may be some harvesting of fruits, nuts and acorns. There is a small vegetable plot that may need some care. I have spent over 25 years turning my 1.3 coastal and exposed acres into woodland and varied habitats. I now need some Autumn/Winter/Spring help with various seasonal jobs as they arise. Where possible, I would be mostly working alongside and...

Hi, we are a family that lives in the south of Italy in the beautiful region of Puglia; in the countryside but not too far from the sea. We have a family-run business in the Cisternino countryside, with holiday homes for tourists, riding stables and recreational activities. Looking for a person who can help in various activities; really interested in the life of the campaign and learning different tasks such as: carpentry, wrought iron, construction, painting, maintenance of the garden and agriculture, but also request for help in the relationship and management of tourists who stay with us. Excellent opportunity for those looking for complete experiences in the field of crafts and tourism and in the relationship with nature and animals. Having 4 children already, we only look for completely independent and flexible people. Musicians and artists in general are welcome (Juan the owner is also a musician). There is a chance to learn how to work wood and iron and many other things. It's ...

Good morning everyone! My name is Lidia and I live in Sabina, in the countryside near Rome. I'm looking for someone who loves the rhythms of nature and can help me prune the olive trees, fix the fence, and do other maintenance work. I'm reorganizing my ceramics studio and need help. In August, I could host someone to take over caring for my two cats and a dog and watering my beloved garden. Do you think this would interest you? In November, you could help me harvest the olives. I have a wonderful, centuries-old olive grove, and this could be an interesting experience for you. You'll certainly get your share of the oil for this work. The next step will be pruning the olive trees... If you know how to use a chainsaw, do small carpentry or plumbing jobs, and want to experience this, you're welcome! Travelers in campers and other vehicles are welcome, and we'll accommodate you in a separate room. The duties and hours of assistance vary depending on the season and needs, but no more tha...

We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. Also 6 chicken, so we always have fresh eggs. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown edible garden. We're about to get ducks in addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We like to work with fun and laughter and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out. Be yourself and join the family... We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Please note that there's a minimum of 1 week stay, we do not like to be used as a pit...

We are a couple with grown up children so we gout space to have up to 5 people stay and work with us at our organic farm. I am a cook and my partner is a teacher and landscape engineer. We work with vegetable production, in greenhouses and outdoor. In the summertime we have tomatoes, egplants, peppers, chillies, beans, mm in our greenhouses and different vegetables in the field. We need help for the farm work, and traditional construction work on different parts of the buildings. We have bicycles here for our guests so you can discover the surroundings. Odense is 17km away and the city of Kerteminde, by the sea, is 5km from our place. We like to have people around from all over the world, not only to get some help, but also to enjoy an cultural and social exchange. Hope to meet you soon Annette & Martin

Our belief is that one small act of kindness is one step closer to creating a happier planet :-) Shane:) We are looking for help with: - Daily chores which includes feeding and watering all the animals. -...

Hello everyone! My name is Bird, I was working in Chiang-Mai as a photographer for 2 years then decided to become a farmer and create a Thai traditional agriculture permaculture farm in 2018. I wish to create a relaxing place that allows people from all over the world to take their time to experience life in harmony with nature. I also have four water buffalo on our farm, named Tony, Laura, Hanna and Charlie. We are a local family with a desire to preserve our simple, sustainable way of life so that we can give back to and protect mother earth. Our farm is located in Pua city, 70km north of Nan province surrounded by the mountains and rice fields, in Northern Thailand. The farm is set on 1.5 acres of land with vegetable gardens, rice paddies, farm stay and pizza restaurant. Currently, we have done with natural buildings on the farm, including bamboo huts, fences, and wooden houses. “Life is better with a Buffalo” is our farm goal and “Happiness only real when shared “ is our motto.

Gardening, forestry We live in a small cottage on a friendly lake about 3 hours north of Toronto. We have the usual cottage toys available, canoe, small sailboat, row boat. Looking for help with selective cutting trees for firewood and lumber which we cut on our own small mill. Hopefully someone that is a better gardener than we are as we would like to start growing our own produce and maybe even get some chickens. Help with some construction and painting projects. We have some old machinery we are always trying to keep running. We are offering free accommodation and meals in exchange for help. This is a no smoking environment.

Mallacoota is 540km from Melbourne, 630km from Sydney and 360km from Canberra with limited access via public transport so keep that in mind when planning your schedule. Our family includes M...

At the moment we are in the process of landscaping the surroundings and working on final details, we are looking for helpers who likes to be outdoors and challenge themselves with different chores like assisting with landscaping , gardening, painting, and sit around the fire in the evening and chill. All task performed are tailored to your personal ability. The cottage is a self-contained cabin with solar power, satellite tv, fully equipped small kitchen, bathroom/shower/toilet, gas stove, queen size bed...
