Come experience the stunning views of Te Mata overlooking Whangarei Harbour and Bream Bay. We are looking for helpX volunteers for one or more weeks in exchange for accommodation in a spacious room in the main house, 3 delicious meals a day, and, of course, a great time. Alcohol is available at cost. If we click, long-term stays (until late May 2026) are preferred, just like several of our previous helpers who stayed with us for more than five months! We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). Accommodation would take form of a fully insulated cute tiny garden room with access to undercover cooking area and bathroom. IT is small so please See photos. On week days we are usually working it Perth so we cant provide meals, but a well-stocked supermarket is 200 metres away. We average 2/3 hours a day painting, plumbing gardening and other repairs and can negotiate best time to do that, for example maybe it’s more convenient to do two longer days during the week. Free coffee, tea and a simple breakfast (i.e. Cereal, toast) usually available. When you email please let us know when you plan to get to Perth and how you are travelling (flying in, driving or bus etc.). If you are already in Perth, where you are staying and how long you...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

We have a property located within walking distance of Fremantle centre near the river , grocery stores and public transport as well as a local coffee strip. You would have the whole house self-contained with kitchen and bathroom. The helping exchange arrangement would be helping with repairs, landscaping, painting etc. Fremantle cottage is on Wray ave if you want to check location. It would be useful if you have had some experience with painting and renovation as we are trying to bring a property in for a sale this year. it would suit someone who would like some peace and quiet because it lacks entertainment facilities such as stereos and TVs at the moment. We also have a beach house south of Fremantle and you could have an opportunity to stay there for trips to the islands, surfing and fishing. 2 hours a day would be fine and although food is not provided shopping is handy. Note: Generally, we limit stays to a couple of weeks maximum as we have a lot of enquirees. We can even try to...

Hello! Bonjour ! Buenos Dias! My name is Kareva and I bought a lovely fixer-upper property in Benson, AZ, one mile north of the Amtrak train depot and Interstate 10 and 35 minutes from the Tucson International Airport. The Ranchito is within an hour drive to Kartchner Caverns, Patagonia Lake, Parker Canyon Lake, Colossal Caves, AZ wine country, Bisbee and Tombstone. Tucson is a 40 minute trip to town. Although your own transportation would be an asset to facilitate sightseeing around the area, I can arrange to pick you up in Tucson or from the Amtrak station in Benson. This property has come a long way in the past seven years, thanks to at least 50 amazing helpXers from all over the world who have become lifelong friends. At the Ranchito, we are creating a quirky/artsy Airbnb pet-friendly compound as well as a retreat for artists, writers, musicians, sanctuary animals, world travelers, academics, farm animals, and kind folk. We currently host live music, workshops, and art events. ...

Hello, We are Anja and Peter, German and Australian farmers and 2 boys Bronn (8) and Jamie (6) and a girl Olive (2). Our situation is that we live in Braidwood and the farmhouse is free for helpers 40 minutes drive South. I, Peter travel to the farm from Braidwood each day and back again. So our arrangements are suited for pairs and couples to stay in the house and has a car. And if you are happy with your own solitude this may be your dream situation too. We currently have no pets to play with although hopefully we get a cat soon. Our main focus is grass, cows and fences as always...nothing ever changes. I, Peter am particularly interested in grassland restoration by using cows. So if you like to fence and move cows this is your place. The house is a usual old farm house built in the 60's. It has a new kitchen and bathroom and 2 bedrooms and large veranda. The valley is beautiful with a creek running down the middle of it where you can bathe in if you like. Farm experienc...

My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities in their lives. I would like to welcome any fluent English speakers under the age of thirty to assist my teachers in the classroom. You would help immensely by having simple conversations with the students and providing them a real English speaking experience inside or outside the classroom. All the students are very welcoming and curious about my visitors, and I am certain that you will have a great experience while interacting with them. You can expect to answer all their questions, pose for pictures, and be invited...

Hey you, We are Carole & Antoine, a French couple who live in NZ for several years now. We are late-30s who used to be backpackers like you and now we have a house and a family so we can't travel as much. Te Puke is not very far from the Mt Manganui and Tauranga (20minutes), the region is one of the most beautiful place to live in NZ. It's better if you have a car but you can do without from our place. The house is only 10 minutes walk from the main street with all the shops you need and bus station. We are looking for a person or a couple to help us around the house (gardening, cleaning, landscaping). In exchange you will enjoy a private room with unlimited fast internet and you will be sharing the rest of the house with us. Ok for few nights or weeks. We are very chilled people and we are also looking for people who are like-minded: clean, tidy, polite, quiet, social, love traveling. We could point you to the right direction to find a job (plenty of jobs in Te Puke) and also hel...

Welcome! I am Fern. I live together with my 3 year old daughter on our small, off grid and very humble farmlet in Guildford, Central Victoria. Guildford is home to one of Victoria's largest river red gums. It is over 500 years old. It's a very small town with only a general store, primary school & pub, half way between Castlemaine & Daylesford. We have been on this land for 1 and a half years & have started using permaculture principals & design. So far, we have completed the fence line, (to keep the rabbits out) & joyously have begun some planting both in the food forest, cottage garden & in the veggie patch. We always have seeds growing in our tiny greenhouse. Fern has a background in florist & plant nursery work and has completed a PDC. Currently a full time Mama, her interest lie in walking softly on this earth, while the little one loves watching the abundant birdlife in our vast open skies! I love kirtan and am busy immersing ourselves in the local community. There maybe a proj...

Non smoking house. No Drug or users. SPACE FOR ONE Helpx Looking for Helpx for early January Our house is often full of music especially Gregorian chants. Prayer is a big part of my life. We enjoy friends who stop by for a cup of tea and some conversations. We love to cook, play music, sing around the piano among other things. We cook fresh, organic locally bought food. Trudy Ann also owns a small chai company. (Trudy Ann's Chai). My sons are both jazz musicians. . Exchange would involves 5 hours of work a day in exchange for your room/ meals. You will have your own living space and bathroom. In busy times I may have a second Helpx share the room. We go to sleep early and rise early. So late night owls would find this challenging. Need helpers for a minimum of 7 days at a time. You will get 2 days off in the week. Longer stays are possible as well. Looking for person who is organized, clean and tidy. You will help with home chores, outdoor yard work and help with a small tea b...

Hi, my name is Mary. I live on the border of NSW and Victoria, a town called Albury. There is a train service to Albury from Sydney about 9 hours and Melbourne about 5 hours train trip. I am happy to pick someone from the Albury railway station. Albury is a pretty town on the Hume Highway., it is inland on the Murray River and there are a lot of local attractions, vineyards, historical small towns, snow fields and many more, only a few hours drive. I am located in town, with the railway station and the airport not too far, about 15minutes drive. I am fully vaccinated and require the same of a helper.I only take Non-smokers( meaning you do not smoke at all, outside as well.) Currently I am asking for 2.5hrs a day for board only. You can cook for yourselves, buy supplies locally and after cooking clean your area. I would like help with the garden and other general duties around the house.,such as cleaning. If you are travelling this way, either going to Melbourne or locally and can hel...

***Sorry - no more visitors for this year until February*** We have an automotive country workshop where we fix and service cars, 4WDs, trailers, tractors and all sorts of machinery. In our spare time we look after our little farm, some sheep, some cattle and rabbits. We also have a forest where we work and tidy up occasionally. So we are always in need of a couple of helpful hands to support us. We love to get to know different cultures and people. We grow our own meat, fruit and vegetables. Gustav also brews his own beer and makes wine and cider and lately also green tea. A mature, non-smoking, self-organized person, preferable not a vegetarian, to give us a hand with house and land, would fit best into our lifestyle. You will have to join into our daily routines: breakfast is at around 7am and then we feed all the animals, especially the hungry dogs and work starts at 8am. We need to get everyone organized before customers arrive in the workshop. We expect about 4 hours wor...

Come and experience life on a working cattle, seed and hay property. We run 300 head of cattle on our 560 Ha home farm, set in a beautiful valley. Join in with us as we work around the property, including tasks such as mustering, stock work in the cattle yards, fencing and machinery and vehicle maintenance. Come and see what we do with the seed and hay we grow. You might like to have a go at cleaning and bagging grass seed or coming along for the drive when we deliver hay. We rely on 4WD motor bikes and tractors for many tasks and may take the time to train you how to use these safely. Apart from experiencing farm life, we look for help in our garden and vegetable garden, as well as odd jobs in and around the house. We take care to work with safety in mind at all times and take the time to explain safety to our guests. Travel insurance is recommended. We are a friendly family of three and enjoy sharing our home with visitors, especially at meal times. A separate and spacious guest are...

TAKE A 1 OR 2 WEEK SPANISH COURSE WHILE VOLUNTEERING AT OUR ORGANIC COFFEE FARM FINCA SAGRADO IN JERICÓ Hi there! We, Klara (Czech/Belgian), Agustin (Colombian) and our son Saila, are looking for nice human beings to join us on our coffee farm. We bought this farm 5 years ago because we fell in love with the land and thought this place would be amazing to raise our son. We didn't know anything about (coffee) farming at that point and kind of turned into coffee farmers overnight. After some years of hard work and a lot of learning we now have our own coffee brand Café Finca Sagrado Two years ago, we started offering coffee tours, chocolate workshops, accomodation for tourists, and a two week Spanish course. During this period, we couldn't receive volunteers because it was hard to manage both. In order to be able to offer our services, but also receive volunteers, we have combined the volunteering with the 1 or 2 week Spanish course. (We don't do volunteering without Spanish classes a...

Accommodation on small farm, peaceful with lovely views, close to Dunedin City in exchange for help with Farm work, chopping firewood (easy to operate log-splitter), moving sheep from paddock to paddock, feeding stock in winter, mending fences, mowing lawns (ride-on), some housework (cleaning), occasional grooming, feeding and helping with horses. We need helpers who are energetic, honest, fun, caring, conscientious, can get on with jobs without requiring supervision and are not glued to a device! Some equestrian knowledge would be good (but not necessary). Plenty of scenic walks nearby and our beautiful beaches are not far away. Local transport (bus service) is 15 minutes walk away so own transport is recommended.

Nestled in the coastal range of Mendocino County, California (about 45 minutes Northwest of Ukiah) we are establishing a small farm and wildlife sanctuary.  Based on principles of sustainability & permaculture our expanding ridge top garden and orchards consist of a variety of fruits, veggies, herbs and flowers.  Aside from garden and orchard tasks additional projects may include gathering seaweed and other native wild foods, cooking, canning, fermenting foods, making herbal preparations, habitat restoration, brush and trail clearing, small scale green building and learning how to build and maintain an off-grid infrastructure and solar system. Please read all of our information before contacting us. We require a one month minimum stay. Our homestead is remote and therefore not for everyone. We prefer those who want to unplug and enjoy the serenity of a mountain forest. If you are open minded, physically fit, want to get your hands dirty and love to be outdoors you will love it her...

We are a hybrid family with a 13-year-old daughter with us 50% of the time and 2 personality filled cats. We are looking for someone (or a couple) to join us from December for 4 weeks (or longer). The assistance needed is help in the substantial-sized garden. Gardening/Home Handyperson experience would be great. Because it's spring/summer time the garden will definitely need attention, including preparing the ground and planting. Abigail is a lovely girl (& no, it’s not just us who think so!) She loves reading, board and card games, baking, the trampoline... she's easy to have fun with. She enjoys our international helpers and has created many friendships; most stay in regular contact with us. Sometimes you are required to assist with getting Abigail to and from activities, so a full license is preferred. The overall help requested is a couple of hours per day, Monday to Friday. There is a bit of flexibility as to how these play out. We (Darryl and Theamarie) work from home so are g...

Hello travellers ! The rain(unless a cyclone comes down from the North) has basically finished now..., from now on it's going to be warm and getting warmer..., to HOT(Jan/Feb) I invite helpers who are travelling in a camper van or similar to come and help here. This is a "very special location" because it is 'away' from the hustle of Margaret River(20 min away) and only 15 min drive to Augusta..., also It is very close to Hamelin Bay and it's right beside a tall forest National Park.

VOLUNTEER WHILE EXPERIENCE OUR LOCAL LIFE, HELP AND SUPPORT TO EDUCATE OUR CHILDREN FOR THEIR BETTER FUTURE. We are situated in north Arusha. It's one hour by bus from the city center. In most local families in our community there are many children and youth who don't have motivation with education, even their parent they are not motivated to take them to school, therefore you will see many children and youth in the street loosing opportunity of getting education. Our project is alternative way to educate and motivate these Children to have equal opportunity of getting better education. Since we started this program we saw alot of changes and the children are motivated to come and learn to our school. Hello!

Our farm is in a remote and magical scenic area of the outer Marlborough Sounds. We have a number of cattle and their calves, hens, our dog Trixie, our cat Elmo, 2 friendly pet sheep, Ivan and Mavis. There are always interesting things that need attending to on the farm and in our vegetable garden. We have many areas of garden and regenerating native bush. Plenty of variety on the projects.

All the usual native animals roam freely over this land - Kangaroo, Emu, Possum, reptile and so many birds are in abundance on this land. I need a couple of helpers here..., who are staying in their own camper van, roof top tent or similar..., I provide clean toilets and showers plus rain water. There are also some really nice and private 'set up' camp sites here. I ask for 2 hours easy work in exchange for helpers experiencing this special location !. The kind of help needed is....., weeding..., r...
