Work will be starting in April and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. We are a small CSA vegetable farm and we work the land with our three draft horses. We also have a herd of sheep, goats and chickens. Two gardener and three gardener apprentices make up our steady team. We have three children and we live in a nice little village with friendly people and a very active village life, in a beautiful landscape, we even have a little swimming lake nearby. We can only take helpers who stay at least two weeks. We share most meals at the moment, which means we are living very close together. We have a very nice house for volunteers and our gardening team with a big kitchen, two bathrooms, common room, and plenty of bedrooms. We also have hot water, heating from wood and Wifi connection. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We have a vineyard, olive trees and vacation houses near Tropea in Calabria. We need a couple to help us for some week from september to june for vintage, olive harvest, gardening, general maintenance and internet announcements. In autumn, winter and spring we have a lot to do in the vineyard, with the olive trees, the house and garden. Accommodation in a full equipped chalet offered. It is better to COME WITH CAR or rent it here. We expect you to work 2 and half hours a day (16-20) hours a week. You should buy and cook your food. We are a waterski club, hosting waterskiers from beginner to national competitive level. Nous sommes éleveur de chevaux arabes, arabe-barbes et anglo-arabes et nous avons une trentaine de chevaux en moyenne, dont des retraités, des poulains, des adultes qui sont montés ainsi que des pensionnaires. Nos autres animaux sont 2 chiens, un malinois guide de chevaux, et une micro beagle réformée des laboratoires, et des poules qui vivent en liberté. Il est donc primordial d'aimer aussi les chiens, car les deux là sont très invasifs pour avoir des câlins... Notre discipline sportive est l'endurance, et il nous arrive encore parfois de faire des compétitions plus ou moins longues, de 20 à 120 km. Évidemment le cheval est notre passion, et nous aimons partager avec tous ceux qui ont la même passion que nous. Et sinon, je parle anglais mais vraiment pas super bien, et Marcel pas du tout.
