I'm getting a new house built in beautiful Wanaka - and have planted a lot of small native trees. To help them along, and to keep the weeds under control, we’re putting mulch around them. And that’s where we need help. The mulch is like hay. It's dry and can be picked up in blocks. We just have to spread it out under the little trees. No experience needed. It is a physically demanding job. The mulch isn't that heavy but it has to be carried a little distance. I’ve already got Kay from Taiwan helping me through HelpX, but we just realised it’s a bigger job than we thought and we could do with some help! We're right in the middle of town - a 5 min walk to the lake and town. It's got a modern kitchen, laundry, heat pumps, fireplace and 2 lounges. Stunning views of the lake and mountains from the house. Your room has a comfy queen sized bed, ensuite and walk in wardrobe. I’ve got e-bikes you can use too. Wanaka is one of the most beautiful places you'll ever visit. The lake is cryst...

Experience life in North Central Washington! Learn about permaculture & medicinal herbs, then go kayaking or wine tasting. Beautiful scenery, quiet farm life and a treasure of outdoor attractions just around the corner are all reasons to visit. Whether you're interested in permaculture, Korean natural farming, kayaking, fishing, paragliding, hiking, mountain biking or wine tasting, there is something for nearly everyone here on the farm or in the area. We are looking for help with seasonal tasks that include things like seeding, transplanting, harvesting, weeding, mulching, seed collection, canning, fermentation, and a huge variety of other tasks. Food is hugely important to us and we offer our large garden and daily staples for breakfast and lunch for trade. We also will host meals occasionally for those joining us. We are new(er) farmers and are still in the early stages of our adventure. We have owned our land for 15 years, farmed for 8 and been welcoming people for work trade f...

Kia ora! We're a family of 3 living on 1.5 acres in Waipapa, Kerikeri. We're in a central spot for everywhere special to the east, west, south and far north. There are many great places to see and visit nearby or take a day trip to. We prefer 2 helpers working 10 hours per week (per person) in exchange for accommodation in your own private cottage. It's clean and totally separate to our main house. Single helpers 14 hours per week. Available NOW and throughout June - July 2026. ---- Our property suits a couple who can work independently. You need your own vehicle to get around. Food and laundry are not provided. Previous helpers say our place is perfect to refresh after camping in the car/tent, great wifi and comfortable beds, private retreat, also central to everywhere north of Auckland. WHERE? Set in a beautiful rural location, but only 3 minutes' drive to Waipapa and 8 minutes' drive to Kerikeri. There's lots of fab places to enjoy nearby; waterfalls, beaches, lakes, hot pools...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between now and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in retu...

We are searching for HelpX for the upcoming NSW school holidays from Sunday 26th June until Sunday 20th July 2026. Some of this time we plan to be away, so it would involve looking after our animals then, including our friendly dog :) I can provide HelpX exchange, nice indoor accommodation in a light filled room with a Queen bed, a weekly yoga class, English conversation and organic meals in exchange for 5 hours HelpX per day x 5 days per week. This includes a variety of tasks with 2-3 hours project work of your interest each weekday Mon - Thursday and Friday being cleaning day. We live here with our rescue dog, chickens, geese, ducks and elderly cat! I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

(La description en français se trouve plus bas !) We are a small Buddhist community living in the forest close to Sainte-Julienne, Quebec. We have an organic fruit tree nursery, along with many other projects on our land: several fruit orchards, chickens and bees, growing our own vegetables and herbs and trying to be independent in many ways. The six people who are staying are: Ajan, Eric, Veronique, Elisabeth, Natalie and Camille. Each of us have arrived here one by one, at first just interested in helping out in the place, and then as we found that this lifestyle was for us, deciding to stay for longer. For part of the year we also have a couple of employees staying with us. There is also a wonderful dog named Dali. Our organic nursery and garden occupies a land of 9 hectares, surrounded by forest. As well as the main land of the nursery, we have another smaller land where a few of us live. This is, in fact, where the community started to grow from very small beginnings in the ear...

We eat meat from our farm. However am happy to do vege food as it is our main food source. I would love help with building, and renovations works. We invite travellers to come share our piece of paradise! It is peaceful and relaxed, with a wonderful array of flora and fauna to view and explore! We live and work on our small farm, 15km from Katherine. We have a variety of animals, horses, cattle, sheep, assorted poultry (hens, Indian Runner ducks, geese, Guinea Fowl)as well as dogs and cats. We are slowly creating a wonderful camping area for future HelpX to enjoy! We have a lovely area developing, right in the bend of a creek. The work required is spraying weeds, cleaning up rubbish, creation of a composting toilet, shower facility and outdoor kitchen, building a fire pit and establishing some garden. There is also general farm chores to perform, depending on your skill set. Examples are weed spraying, clearing dead trees, fencing, cleaning water troughs, general gardening, vege gardening, cooking, cleaning etc. So if this sounds like the sort of experience you are looking for, get in contact. Kia ora Helpxers, We invite you to come and be our Helpxer/s and enjoy our wonderful, warm and sunny location with a spectacular view of Tasman Bay and the naturally formed Boulder Bank. Our place is just 7km from central Nelson. The Nelson Tasman region is a very popular region for travellers, with access to the Abel Tasman National Park being just over an hour away. From our place, you can ride the bicycle trail into town, taking about 20 minutes, or there is a bus stop not far away, or even better, if you have your own transport. We designed and built our own passive solar house, constructed from Adobe Earth Blocks, a sustainable and eco-friendly method of building, using local materials such as clay and straw. It keeps everyone cool on the hot days and warm and dry on the coolest! Our preference is to host you for up to one week or more if it suits. We ask for four hours helping out each day, but are flexible for longer days, so you may like to take a day or two off to explore...

Preference will be given to helpers with a genuine interest in learning about NZ dairy farming and animal husbandry. We love sharing what we do and prefer to host helpers with a desire to learn. We run a boutique dairy farm, milking a small herd of much loved cows and selling raw milk to our wonderful customers Starting a new business is hard work and not for the faint-hearted. If you consider yourself up for the challenge of helping us, we'd love to hear from you! We offer a family environment with opportunities for farm work, housework, gardening and cooking. There is a wide variety of work available. Working with the animals of course, weed control, plus fencing work, painting, carpentry, building and lots of different small tasks to complete. If outdoor work doesn't appeal, help in the house with cooking and cleaning is always appreciated, and the large and previously neglected garden also requires a lot of work. We try to fit the work to each helper's skills and interests, and ...

We live on 50 acres of steep country, around 15 mins from town. You would need your own transport. We grow avocados, flowers and lots of weeds!! We also have some cattle, sheep, two dogs and a friendly old cat. We need help with fencing, gardening and weed control mostly, but you might need to help me wrangle a few sheep so I can trim their feet and shear them. We offer self-contained accommodation and can provide food for you to cook/prepare, including our home-grown beef and lamb and vegetables. If you have any building experience that might help as one of the projects I would like to achieve with your help is to build a small set of steps in my garden. My husband and I are in our 50s and our kids have left home. We love the outdoors, animals and sports and are looking for active, fit, outdoorsy people who can help us with the physical work around our property. Hi, it's Stephen and Philamae here. We have a beautiful rural property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely and we are running it as holiday accommodation as we move towards turning it into a funky retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer. A pair of the endangered and majestic wedge-tailed eagles live 1km away and often soar above us. This link has a lot more photos of our place : https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/1404048948970319721 (we have a series of 7 wellness retreats running 5 June to end August: see www.sherwoodloves.com.au/retreats-overview ) The next specific needs are: a) any time from now onwards - Mostly cleaning and bedrooms resetting, & some gardening. Generally we like stays of 4+ weeks but in this case we'd also be happy to host for a ...

We are the first English-speaking kindergarten dedicated to nurturing bilingual children from non-English speaking families, aiming to provide them with better opportunities for their future lives 🚀🌟. In 2012, Peru ranked last among the 65 countries participating in the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA), which tested the educational skills of 15-year-olds worldwide. By 2015, Peru made slight progress, ranking 63rd out of 69 nations. However, this remains a critical issue for Peruvian students, with only students from the Dominican Republic faring worse in Latin America 😔. These results stem not just from secondary education but also from inadequate early education, which fails to equip children with the necessary tools to build self-esteem and improve academic performance. At our school, we strive to elevate standards and provide children with the invaluable gift of a foreign language—specifically English 🌍. Why? English not only enriches children's lives by pre...

Hi you young and beautiful travelers, Bundaberg is a less known touristic town, with a mild climate, beautiful beaches and wonderful surroundings. It is also an agricultural country town with many backpackers hostels . With a bit of lack there might be opportunities for paid work on a farm. It’s only 350km north of Brisbane and easily reachable by train. My home is only a few minutes drive from the town center, yet secluded and peaceful, sitting on 2.5 acres. I am looking for people who would like to visit this promising coastal town and help with general house and backyard maintenance, around 4 -5 hours a day, 6 days a week. The person helping me will have a home away from home and a cosy room to rest in. I am hoping he/she will treat the place with respect and consideration, observing the few requirements related to the use of bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise, regretfully, we will have to part ways sooner then expected. A good home cooked meal and an occasional glass of wine is...

Hello travellers! We’ve recently built a wonderfully energy efficient passive solar house, complete with off-grid solar for all our energy needs, rain water collection for all our water needs, and a worm farm waste management system for natural black and grey water processing. We’ve put a lot of work in to achieve a fossil-fuel-free, all-electric, household, with as small an environmental footprint as possible. We’re also lucky to live in a beautiful rural/coastal area near Inverloch, Victoria, approximately 1 hour 45 minutes south-east of Melbourne. We are close to some of Victoria’s most famous wildlife and wilderness attractions, including the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island, the Koala Conservation Reserve, and hiking and camping at Wilson’s Promontory (not to mention numerous local beaches and fishing spots only 10 minutes away!). With our house complete, we’re now working to progress the landscaping aspects of our project. We’d be very appreciative of a helping hand or two to ...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. It looks like we are full until at least mid July but you are still welcomed to make inquiries about future dates. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not really necessary, learn on the job! 😉👍. So you need to be a "morning person" who is happy to start work at 07.00 hr, at least five mornings a week, not a night-owl. This is to avoid the heat of the afternoons at this time of year, mornings ca n be beautiful. Much of the work will be outside, based out of a well-equipped, air-conditioned, woodworking worksho...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing, and energizing our own water though Ionisation. Water conservation is part of life for me. You can come to Maryborough via plane, bus or train. The Hervey Bay Airport is only 30min from my home. There are meanwhile several bus companies to choose from. If you use the train please book Maryborough town from the drop down menu. The shuttle bus from the train station in Maryborough west (20 min out of town) is free of charge if it is pre-booked. We are regularly visited by possums, wallaby's and various other wildlife. If you're lucky you may even see a Tasmanian Devil. We aspire to a sustainable way of living and adore our large established organic garden, which we are needing help with maintaining. We ask helpers to provide a minimum of 4.5 hrs of work each day for 5 days with two full days off. If you would like a day off after working a few days we ask you to make up the hours on other days. Some helpers also purchase their own food and only work 2.5 hours a day if this suits you better. We are also very flexible and happy to listen to your requests. Previous gardening experience is essential as well as cooking/helping with evening meals, household duties, and other jobs as required...

Kia ora, we extend a warm invitation to host a physically strong, fit and capable couple for approximatelly a week between 4 and 18 June, and again from 25 June. Our home is nestled in semi-rural Paremoremo, a mere 10-minute drive from central Albany on Auckland’s North Shore. This area is full of serene natural beauty, enveloped by lush vegetation, and great views of the upper harbour. We are lucky to have an abundance of native birdlife which we marvel at every day. Paremoremo is only about 20 minutes drive away from beautiful white-sand East Coast beaches, which are good for swimming and also sometimes have great surf. Additionally are within an hour's reach of the rugged Waitakere bush ranges and the distinctive black-sand beaches of the West Coast, which offer regular awesome opportunities for surfing and day treks. We are both around 60 so we are slowing down and need help but still very young at heart! Russell has a full-time role as a Project Manager and is keen to help you ...

Mataranka Station is located 90 km south of Katherine in the Northern Territory. Our cattle operation involves low stress stock handling using horses and dogs supplemented with motorbikes and helicopters. If you'd like to help out with some cooking and cleaning but also get a chance to be a part of station life and see what it's all about, there's a place here! Things change on a regular basis depending on the priorities but there are always things to do for anyone that is keen to have a go and experience the vastness of what outback Australia is really about. It's a team environment where everyone pitches in but there will be times when you will be doing things independently. As station life is physical in nature, a degree of fitness and affinity with outdoor living is beneficial. Air-conditioned lodging with shared facilities. We are 10 minutes from Mataranka and Bitter Springs and an easy day trip from Edith Falls, Southern Rockhole and Katherine Gorge. With the wet season comin...

Travelers should choose my place because it offers a calm, friendly, and comfortable home in the Dublin Suburbs 10 minute train ride to City Centre. You’ll be surrounded by plants, nature, and good company 🌿. The tasks are light and relaxed. You’ll also learn practical gardening tips and horticultural knowledge in a cozy, welcoming environment. It’s an ideal place for volunteers who enjoy peaceful living, meaningful conversations, and a warm home atmosphere. I am a well organized and responsible person. I’m an easy-going, friendly host who enjoys gardening and evening chats 😊. I value respect, honesty, and a relaxed environment. Volunteers can expect to be treated kindly and fairly, with plenty of support and patience. House also has a permanent tenant, Gloria from Italy (early 30's) who has been here over a year. The help is quite easy and low-stress. I’m happy to share my horticultural knowledge, including tips and tricks for getting the best performance from different plants 🌱. T...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

We have availability from 7th June. We would be looking for two people with experiencing with planting/gardening and who enjoy physical, mostly outdoor work. Our jobs require practical experience, or willingness to learn - gardening, cleaning, spraying, weed-eating, washing the house, windows etc. We don't currently have airbnb guests so you would get to stay in the luxury airbnb unless we get a booking, then you would either sleep in a sofa bed in the cabin or if you prefer your van and just use our shared spaces. We love hosting travelers and enjoy also getting jobs done on our list. With having 10 acres to care for, there is always something to do. We will give you food and accommodation in exchange for 4 hours of work. We love having first time helpers and help you map out your journey in the north or just help you get used to being in NZ. Chris loves playing games and we also have a hot tub. Most of the time we have a beautiful black Labrador called Kenai. We also ha...

Good—because we are involved in Shar Pei dog rescue and always have adorable ones who’ll steal your heart! 🐶🐶🐶 We're a warm, easy-going Canadian/English couple living in a serene sanctuary on the edge of Ku-ring-gai National Park, with breathtaking bush views and daily visits from native wildlife. While a green thumb is appreciated, the dogs’ well-being is our top priority, so animal lovers are a must! When you're not lending a hand, unwind in our pool, or explore hundreds of kilometres of pristine bush trails right outside our door. And if you’re craving a bit of city life, Sydney’s vibrant centre is just a short trip away. We have availability from around June 10th until the end of June. We are a married couple. We have been working at improving the old farmhouse we live in for the past twenty years. We are in our late forties but are young at heart:) We have two dogs and a cat. We work outside the home. Ideally you are open minded, flexible, positive even when it's raining or tasks are challenging. You are independent regarding your free time. You are focused on your work and not distracted by technology and physically able. You demonstrate care for the environment by having short showers , recycling properly, using very little chemicals for washing (e.g.by using soap ) and by turning off lights when they are not necessary. You like big dogs. You will have your own spare bedroom with wifi access and will share the bathroom with us. There is a couch in our open plan kitchen where you can relax in the evening. Maybe you would like to give yoga or meditation a try with Anne-Marie who is a qualified...

We are a certified organic farm operating since 2004 and producing mostly a wide diversity of seed crops as well as Spring and Fall vegetable starts, soft fruit plants, and many native plants. We now have 260 +different seed varieties, including kale, tomatoes and many new potato varieties that we have bred and selected here - very exciting. We have even created 2 new apple varieties and a berry! Our preference is for helpers who will stay a minimum of 2-4 weeks and ideally longer, as it takes a lot of our time to train someone to work well with these seed crops in the greenhouses and gardens. The farm has a nicer feel when folks stay for longer and we all get to know each other and have the time to enjoy working as a team. If you are a helper who has some farming experience, or who is passionate about working with plants, and you will apply the learning that you do here in your own future farming we'd especially love to hear from you! We are 10 minutes from Byron and we can see the famous Byron lighthouse from our front balcony. We love hosting Help X guests. We also need help in managing a 6000 sq meter block with a garden that needs a lot of work and a big house that needs cleaning. Our house has views and a pool and spa as well as a media room, all of which, we share with you. If you are over 25, we may be able to lend you a small Toyota Yaris which is registered for free Byron Bay parking in most places. You can use it for short trips into Byron and but you will need to work out how to share the car and petrol costs if we have several helpers staying. Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover younger drivers and without a car, you may find us too isolated as there is no public transport. We ask for 20 hours of work a week not counting cleaning up after meals and when you are leaving, cleaning the studio or your room. You can either work whenever you choose and record your hours each day...

We are a busy family with a small lifestyle block just 10 minutes outside Tauranga. We have a menagerie of farm animals and pets plus vegetable gardens and a small fruit salad orchard. We raise our own (friendly) lambs and pigs and do some home processing into hams, bacon etc. We have a clean and very comfortable 60m2 accommodation separate from the main house with 2 bedrooms (one double and two single beds), a bathroom/shower, a large living area, a nice little kitchen, and wifi. You will have this accommodation building to yourself. Generally looking to take 2 people at a time. We prefer a stay of at least a week. There is always plenty to do with a wide variety of tasks both outside and inside. This includes: - gardening, pruning, weeding, fruit and vegetable harvesting, lawn mowing and other section maintenance (to suit your level of experience). - some inside housework - generally cleaning - Painting plus other house maintenance and landscape work (if you have suitable pain...

Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bikes, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter at The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, we seriously need help with the massive task of @296: gardens to create & jungle to clear ! We are keen to host people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. 2 Small farms turned into the one near the West Coast of Clare. We keep lots of farm animals like cattle, horses, donkeys and sheep. We produce a wide range of vegetables for ourselves and some for selling. We have two children, went to primary Steiner/ Waldorf school; Frank (25) and Fina(21) and they love having volunteers around the place. Fina is doing equine studies and Frank studies horticulture and loves travelling. We hope you have the ability to adapt to our for most of you different and simple life-style and enjoy farmwork with irregular hours at times, and you will get a true sense of farming life-style! It is important to realise beforehand that you are a volunteer who gets the opportunity to join into our family home/life so please do not compare with a regular paid job.. Most important is that you are happy and enjoy your stay with us... We offer healthy food, wonderful sunsets and rainbows, some Irish traditional music, and the possibility to learn more about old style f...

We are searching for HelpX for the upcoming NSW school holidays from Sunday 26th June until Sunday 20th July 2026. This includes a variety of tasks with 2-3 hours project work of your interest each weekday Mon - Thursday and Friday being cleaning day.

We invite travellers to come share our piece of paradise! It is peaceful and relaxed, with a wonderful array of flora and fauna to view and explore! We will likely work alongside you or at least be on the property to advise you if we have left you to do some work on your o...

West Coast Canada Experience Purpose built oceanfront B&B with 3 private self-contained studio suites on the 2nd floor of our home which is on the first floor. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, biking & hiking at our waterfront B&B. You'll have your own private room. If you have a valid drivers license, and are staying for at least 2 months you may use one of our cars. This requires a discussion, and is on a case by case basis. Cleaning rooms to our 5 star standard is the primary work. Limited gardening, yard work, helping around the B&B with all aspects of running a home-based business. Must be physically fit to do this. Crewing on our boat is optional if you like it - not everyone is comfortable being on the ocean. Here is what a typical summer day looks like: About 1/4 of our guests purchase breakfast. On those mornings at 7:30 am we're in the kitchen preparing breakfast. 8:45 - 9:30 serving breakfast to guests and interacting with Q&A and booking a few excursions. On most days when t...

The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Do an overnighter at The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula.
