* Summer 2026. Bed and Breakfast - Bio/Organic Vineyard. Dave & Brandy (my dog). Vineyard & Small Bed & Breakfast with two (2) rooms for guests. * Help always needed also at the Swiss Tattoo Museum. Dave loves to cook and the BnB thrives on his cooking skills, website reviews and best of all word of mouth! Also known as "Dave Cuvee" to guests and social friends, creating quality, delicious meals with love and passion is my destination. Most helpers leave here with extra kg, I am not talking about extra carry luggage ;-) Brandy is a female Hungarian Vizsla born October 2013. She is in training to search for truffles in the local forests. Brandy is a middle size dog weighing ca. 19kg and is very active. She is very intelligent, playful and uber friendly to everyone she has contact with. Brandy is being trained and fed by Dave, but she requires walks and exercise when Dave is at work. You should be a very dog friendly person. Dave speaks fluent English and Swiss German (20+ years...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

We are a family run home, perfect for the 1st time volunteer. Natural horsemanship is a real factor here if you want to learn more. Our mentors being Buck Brannaman, Steve Halfpenny and Ken Falkner. A safe environment for your 1st time away from home. You do not need any knowledge of horses but you do need to love dogs, they are a major part of the family and are constantly with us all 8 of them, dalmations, vizslas and 2 weimararners, and they do jump all over you. Constant appaloosas is a small holding where we breed and train horses for ourselves and occasionally others. We have help exchange programs running throughout the year for interested students of all ages. Vet students get a really good grounding here. What we expect from you, conduct yourself in an open and friendly manner, engage in all aspects of life on the farm and seize all opportunities with enthusiasm, avoid rude and disrespectful behaviour to people horses and dogs. This is for those of you who plan ahead. We are full until mid July, right at the start of our best fishing season and in the middle of our best weather when at least some of the time we should be cutting great timber from unwanted trees using a 26 inch/56cm bandsaw. So anyone who loves fishing, snorkelling on inshore reefs and is good at DIY or carpentry and loves the simple, quiet, rural life by the beach, next to the rainforest, this is for you 🤗. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not really necessary, learn o...

Hi, my name is Sylvia and I'm Dutch. After having lived for the majority of my life in cities I wanted to roam around with Helpx, so I did. However, I fell in love with the first place where I stayed, many years ago. A very small rural village in Bavaria, Germany, at the Czech border. I rented the huge house and intend to stay here, with my little dog, for the rest of my life. It’s a beautiful hilly area and the forests invite for long walks in which you may spot deer, lynxes, boars and other animals. Public transport ends in Weiden (train) or Lohma (bus), but I have a car, can pick you up and drop you off. Plenty to see within reasonable distance like Nuremberg, Regensburg, Munich, and Prague. Ski and snowboard centre at 7 km distance and lots of others a bit further away. In the holiday season, Christmas markets can be found everywhere. You will have your own room (with WIFI) and a shared bathroom, and you are welcome to the rest of the house too. I‘ll try to cook for you what you...

Hi! I'm Tonje and I moved to my farm in 2020. And there's always a lot to do here. This small farm is in a very small town, by the fjord in Hardanger. Its a good place for hiking and culture. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. But I need help with maintenance of the outdoor area, wood working, chopping firewood and snow shoveling. I also have an airbnb, so cleaning, organize and tidying jobs are also tasks that I may need help with. Help are appreciated a lot. For your help, I can offer beautiful scenery, food and a private bedroom.

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. We are a family of 5 living in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Sue is the founder of Peaceful Hollow. Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. . We have a lot you can be involved in, knowledge to share, friendships to build, and opportunities for growth. Below are our routines and some projects. We would love to involve you! - Caring for our honey bees, chickens,...

June 2026 update. Carpentry help, painting, gardening, Carpentry Gardening Painting Building Hello, I am an Irish woman renovating a 170yr old cottage in the woods in Värmland. We have converted the attic into a lovely bright and spacious 50m2 room that would be plenty of space for 2-3 people. There are also plenty of soft green areas for camping and camper van. The surrounding forest is full of gorgeous wandering trails which lead to beautiful crystal clear lakes perfect for swimming. I would appreciate the help of about 1-2 strong people and will provide 3 organic (where possible) vegetarian meals per day, bed with bed linen, and meditation guidance if wished in exchange for 6 hours help per day with day 7 off. I'm happy to discuss other fair exchange arrangements in our pre aarrival communication. A carpenter, plumber or electrician would be fantastic!! Enjoy the privacy of a self contained Cabin with unlimited WIFI and TV on a separate driveway set on a dry stock (beef) farm less than one hour from Auckland city. By car it less than one hour North of Auckland’s Harbour Bridge. And if you have your own transport the East Coast beaches are nearby. Over 25 years, there has been extensive landscaping and we are able to grow many subtropicals. With mild winters, there is always plenty of garden maintenance to do. Currently, we are refreshing gardens at the entrance and around the Farmhouse driveway and some outdoor painting. If gardening and being outdoor appeals, please get in touch. All food is provided and in return we ask for five-six hours during the week. You will need to be physically fit and strong (using a wheelbarrow for mulch and using a weedeater etc). The Cabin can comfortably accommodate up to two singles on a twin share basis.

My partner Richard and I are both in our 30s and we need your help with a variety of projects in our lovely tree house. We live in a bit rainforest block with jungle all around us (tree frogs in the bathroom are the norm!) It's just the two of us and our two dogs, so we could use a little help around the place to maintain the grounds and the buildings. We'd really like people who can stay for a while - a month at the minimum, and longer preferred Jobs we'd appreciate help with include: Grounds maintenance (e.g. hedge trimming, leafblowing, repairs) Vehicle maintenance (with Richard) Fish tank cleaning (with Lynne) Pool cleaning Looking after dogs if we're away Chicken care Being good with dogs is a must - we have two big dogs, one of who isn't the friendliest with strangers but is your best friend once you get to know him. Hello, I am looking for some help with gardening and house maintenance, preferably someone with a bit of gardening know-how to help control (in a wild way) a medium size garden Also help with dog walking and possibly pet sitting for short periods. Bit of strimming and mowing, and some weeding. Renovation of window frames and painting when weather allows. Trying to grow veg as much as possible, but not easy up here.(lots of rabbits and deer) Indoors --- well could do with a bit of organizing! Also some help with the bigger cleaning jobs, like the vast windows! I am living in the middle of Dartmoor National Park which is a great place for walking and scenery, and one of the last remaining wilderness areas in England. Person with organisational skills and sense of humour and who loves the great outdoors and the quiet would be ideal. One lovely dog and cat in the house, and the occasional guest. Please note, due to financial constraints I cannot accommodate long term helpers

We invite you to volunteer and participate in creating a unique experience with us this summer. We organise, build and run a unique, tented, sustainable venue - a temporary outdoor eco-village in the West of England. We’re looking for people who like working hard, having fun, and being part of a community to get involved. Every summer since 1990, our trustees (all volunteers) and many other volunteers from all walks of life come together and create something truly inspiring! We are a temporary venue reflected by the three main phases of our season. The most diverse range of activities and greatest need for volunteers are during the setup and takedown of the site, but of course we also rely on our team of volunteers for the running of the events! You will be supported and encouraged to be involved in whatever you feel most comfortable doing, and we always appreciate new ideas and feedback - we are all about learning, participation, and celebration of individuals and community. I am 69 years old and I decided 10 years ago to move from the city (Bordeaux) to the pine forest on the way to the ocean.... i'm renovating an old farm using as possible an ecologic way of doing (lime with hemp for the walls), i'm doing the more i can by myself. i began to do a vegetable garden with permaculture, i had some good results some years but we must be very humble with growing living things !! Now, after some very happy working moments being helped by friends and woofers , the old barn in front of the house has been saved, new roof, new floor, pretty windows, lime with hemp insulation. Just stay some more job around ! ...all the area is getting better, I put some fruit trees, apple, peach, fig, cherry, pear and roses, and some more trees around growing well. I re-done the vegetable garden after that the chicken had made a mess, so I did first a fense with the wood I cut around and it is also good to protect the fruit trees and roses from the dears !! The big caravan is...

I have sold my property and am living on a property across the road until I decide what I want to do next. I am in urgent need of some help to sort out the garden here as it has been neglected for a while and I have had an injury and can't do the things that I used to do. I am on the Sunshine Coast. 20 minutes from most places and 40 mins to the beach Permaculture and Biodynamics practiced. Compost making. Worm farms. . *Help me post a lot of surplus things I need to sell on Market Place that are left over from my old place. *Help with a garage sale once surplus stuff is sorted. * Weed over grown vegetable garden and plant food for winter. The welcome rain we have had has sent the weeds crazy, not a hard job but rewarding to see the finished product. An opportunity to learn new skills to take with you on your journey. People with their own camper, also welcome as I have plenty of room. Can pick up from Cooroy. I have been a wwoofer/ helpx host since 2000 and have had great e...

Wonderful opportunity !…..Due to a last minute cancellation, I am looking for someone to help from 20 June - 6 July. I can offer a placement to a single person, (ideally aged early-mid 20s or older) to help out with a variety of jobs throughout the summer for one or two week stays. (length of stay can be discussed and agreed). There will be jobs outside mainly tidying up the garden, where there are flower and vegetable beds, as well as fruit trees, + some indoor and outdoor painting. You will be the kind of person who enjoys being outdoors for most of the day (all weathers). Ideal for those interested in garden design and who enjoy being in a rural environment. When it’s raining there’ll be some indoor jobs to do - DIY, cleaning and general household tasks/maintenance. Ideal for person with practical skills. Approximately 20 hours per week, with two clear rest days which can be taken individually or together, depending on the weather! I run Air BnB and 1:1 English lang...

24/05/26 - I'm looking for someone to start as soon as possible for a week or more. The main jobs at the moment are weeding, planting, log & painting. The weather right now is amazing so a great time to be out in the garden! I live in a 5 bedroom house (a work in progress) with a large garden & lovely views. My son & daughter (age 24 & 23) also live locally & occasionally visit to help out. We need someone to help with the weeding, landscaping and other gardening when the weather is fine & do some housework and DIY when it's not (especially painting and cleaning). In return you'll have your own room, TV and WiFi and be well fed as we love cooking and baking! You will need to be fit & strong, like hard work & preferably know the difference between a weed & a (wanted) plant. A good dash of common sense will also go a long way. Must be a non smoker & I am afraid that I cannot host vegans. Either a single person or a couple is welcome. Helping hours would be around 4-5 hours a d...

I have need of someone to help with gardening there is a lot to do and need you to like the outdoor life. I can lend you an old coat and gardening gloves for this. I am a strictly non smoking place both inside and out. Smokers including those who vape, will be asked to leave. I take in rescue dogs and then rehome when they are ready, you definitely need to like animals I have had people come who have an allergy to animal hair and dust. This is a farm atmosphere so dirt, dust and animal hair are normal here. I ask for five full hours a day please. The South West of England is a lovely area in the country close to Dartmoor National Park and also the Devon/Cornwall border, very scenic a couple of miles from Dartmoor National Park. 2km away there is a huge supermarket which sells everything from food to washing machines, it is open until midnight except for Sunday when it has reduced. Our wonderful helpers from Argentina & France have left to go to a winter job in the snowfields. They loved it here, so we are now seeking some new helpers as there is still plenty to do in the garden over winter. ENJOY THE FREEDOM & BEAUTY OF SOUTH GIPPSLAND. Property is a botanic garden of Australian native plants, many rare or endangered, plus an acre of plants for cut flowers, mainly proteas, banksias and tea trees. Lots of wildlife. We need help with weeding, mowing, mulching, planting and general clean up as the property is too big for the two of us to maintain. Accommodation is very comfortable, private, with fully set up kitchen in a studio style cottage with a queen size bed and smart TV. Recently installed a new electric oven with airfry function. Has split system heating and cooling. It is separate from the main house. It was a very popular AirBnB destination but we have decided not to do it anymore as it is too much extra work. The property is rural; half way between Wontha...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON. Need help with a garden clean up, at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site.

Her daughter Ruth moved to the Hollow later as well as her husband Tim and their 2 daughters. Our hollow is quite with no neighbors in sight.

There's great pizza 2km away or if you are exploring the city of Karlstad (45mins by bus) or Filipstad (20km)there are...

Every summer since 1990, our trustees (all volunteers) and many other volunteers from all walks of life come together and create something truly inspiring!

I have need of someone to help with gardening there is a lot to do and need you to like the outdoor life. I can lend you an old coat and gardening gloves for this. I am a strictly non smoking place both inside and out. Smokers including those who vape, will be asked to leave.
