We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

I've spent almost a decade of my life traveling, always exploring in different ways. It started with vanlife, then shifted to adventuring in a SUV through more rural places. Now, I'm continuing the journey with a classic kombi and a full set of camping gear, embracing a slower pace and a deeper connection with the road and the places I visit. Currently, I'm exploring the countryside of Hungary—but my plans, and even the countries I'm traveling through, tend to change quickly. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to know where I am at the moment! I bought a small holiday residence in the South of Hungary which I am currently renovating. Especially need help in September and October 2025! Option 2: Join me on the road and enjoy the perks of traveling with someone who knows the ins and outs of roadlife. You'll also meet my two well-trained dogs—perfect companions to embrace nature with and make the journey even more rewarding. timeline: July / August: Germany, attempting sma...

We are an Irish couple who came to NZ 33 years ago - on a travelling holiday. We liked it so much we stayed. We have lived in Ireland, Italy, France, Belgium, and UK, and travelled in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal, and North America. We work in Medicine - General Practice - and psychology. We are very interested in international relations and ecological sustainability. In our time in NZ we have learned much about Māori history, legends, and language, the colonisation of the country, and about our NZ's amazing ecology. Our large garden is filled with native trees and shrubs that attract native birds like tui - right now there are kārearea [NZ falcon's] nesting in a tree in the garden. We are very keen to share the richness of our local environment and history and current affairs in Aotearoa NZ with guests. Our family home has a large garden and is near Mt Iron climbing crag and walking area. There is lots to do and see in the area around Wanaka and Lake Hawea. For many years we ...

Hi Everybody and thank you for your interest! WE HAVE SPACE AT THE MOMENT AND YOU COULD STAY WITH US DURING WONDERFUL AUTUMN! Are you proactive (meaning you see if something has to be done, and not waiting until we bring the plates and serve the food)? Are you willing to live between dogs and horses? You get no panic attacks when you get dirty? Can you stand a child that has its own mind? Do you know how to use a brush, a broom, a sponge, a dish washer, and some other useful tools... Are you open minded enough to live in a surrounding that does not have a routine, so e.g. having dinner in the late afternoon or not knowing what will be tomorrow? You do not need a new introduction into to-do`s every day as you can memorize them? If all answered "yes", continue! Or are you waiting to be served, and permanently, also during meals or sitting on a horse, looking at your mobile? Locking yourself in your room until invited for Lunch? Like to live in your room for 4 weeks without asking for a...

The helper accommodation is a double room in a 200 year old Cotswold stone house located in a small village near Stroud. There’s woodland above and it’s in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty backing on to the Toadsmoor valley. The house is 35 mins walk from Stroud town centre. There are a few shops in the village as well as a pub nearby. The house is surrounded with the hills and countryside on your doorstep and lovely views. From the garden...great for forest walks and exploring the Cotswolds. English, Spanish and French is spoken. I have my child with me half the week.. We aim to work an average of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week in an awake household. The work is varied but currently there are raised beds to make for growing vegetables, a chicken run to make, chickens to feed and care for, gardening, cooking, cleaning , or generally helping with whatever task is being done at the time, though no need of experience as I'm happy to teach techniques. Anyone with motivation ...

In autumn, winter and spring we have a lot to do in the vineyard, with the olive trees, the house and garden. Accommodation in a full equipped chalet offered. It is better to COME WITH CAR or rent it here. We expect you to work 2 and half hours a day (16-20) hours a week. You should buy and cook your food. We run a three bedroom accomodation located in the beautiful historic area of Kerikeri just up from the Stone Store. We are looking for preferably a single person (ranking as mature) interested in staying at the lodge and taking care of the general running of things (around 2-4 hours per day , negotiable) This is very relaxed and mostly entails greeting guests in the afternoons and showing them to their rooms (only when we have bookings), cleaning rooms if the cleaner is away, taking bookings as well as some general property maintenance. You will stay in a separate part of the lodge with full kitchen, private room and bathroom. I am generally around the lodge most days but leave in the evenings as I live with my partner out of Kerikeri. So we work as a team. This means you will likely be taking care of yourself in the evenings, so being able to cook is important. (Potentially not as social at it has been in the past when my son and his partner were living there full time) . We inc...

Large property on Banks Peninsula. Sleep out. Separate shower and toilet. Garden maintenance -4 hours /day for full room and board. Do have WiFi but limited. Am isolated in the country. Local transport to Little River but then I have to pick you up or take you down. I am a single retired Doctor of Chiropractic. Enjoy cooking or learning more about it. Extremely flexible as far as when and what gets done, as long as it does get done. Prefer single man, who enjoys his own company, the countryside and doesn't mind pulling weeds or can use gardening appliances etc. If you have your own transport, then close to city.

Hola todas! My place is an old grain mill with half a hectare of land. I live here for more than 15 years. Work is mostly in the garden. Weeding, digging, planting, watering, harvesting and off course eating. There is a big cat family living on the land. Help in the kitchen is welcome. Special dietary requirements must be met by the helpers. In the area there are many activities possible. More yoga teachers than there are students, meditations, dancing, singing,....! Many communities of all sorts. Hiking in all directions. Even skiing starting beginning of December. I try to keep a healthy environment, so no drugs that cloud your spirit. No dogs either. People mostly stay between one and two weeks. Work is about 5 days a week, 4 hours a day. Food and lodging included. Flexible. Work depends on peoples abilities. Any questions? Always happy to explain!

Our farm is in a remote and magical scenic area of the outer Marlborough Sounds. We have a number of cattle and their calves, hens, our dog Trixie, our cat Elmo, 2 friendly pet sheep, Ivan and Mavis. There are always interesting things that need attending to on the farm and in our vegetable garden. We have many areas of garden and regenerating native bush. Plenty of variety on the projects. We have good beaches and nice walks. Your own transport is the easiest or there is a passenger service from Rai Valley Village. Check out our website if you need public transport and you can message us anytime. GENERAL INFORMATION We grow most of our own vegetables. We make compost and use animal manures as fertilisers. If you REALLY love dogs, cats and nature and are looking for and role that can lead to working your 88 days for visa sign off or a permanent paid role... We need a kind and fit person who would be happy to do all the jobs needed to keep our dogs healthy and happy. This includes a LOT of house cleaning, feeding, laundry and dog washing. Your accommodation would start of in our vintage caravan and once our current paid helper leaves, you would share a modern two-bedroom home with our other helper (currently that’s Angela and Jordan who are from Taiwan and Germany). You would of course have dogs or cats sleeping on your bed too! This is a great experience for those who are fit and love dogs, cats, cleaning and organising and want to spend some time on a lovely property in a nice home full of dogs. Or you may want to gain the skills to volunteer at a rescue shelter, become a dog trainer, or maybe you might just want to know how to create a create a really great dog of your own. A...

Hello, We are back after an extended stay overseas and we need your precious help with the land and jobs around the house. We are looking for people to help us with gardening, tidying, cleaning and helping Glen with DIY jobs. Last year, when we moved onto this new piece of land, we had fantastic experience with Help x, their help made such a difference . We enjoyed the interactions and created great friendships through this platform. We see help x has a mutually beneficial exchange and we are keen to have people stay with us. You will have your own family size tent , with a queen bed and access to a shared bathroom in a little sleepout. The cooking can be done in the main house or in the kitchen of the sleep-out . Some meals will be shared together so we can ponder about the world and other great topics. We are interested in sustainability, community living, gardening, how to make the world a better place one little action at a time. The view is amazing and you will be ver...

Hi, it's Stephen and Philamae. We have a beautiful property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely now that its 4 year build has just completed, and we are running it as holiday accommodation! The place will get even more enjoyable and beautiful as we create this funky mini-retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer and eagle.. See our Airbnb listing with over 60 photos via our website link below. Generally we look for Helpxers to help with the gardening and house cleaning. Across Nov/Dec/Jan it will be a lot of room cleaning/making up for our Airbnb setup, so we need somebody who cleans to a high standard and ideally likes cleaning & housekeeping! My property is 10 hectares on the West Coast of the South Island, which starts at the coast with sand beach and sunsets and heads inland 1km through native wetlands and forest. Approximately 20km from Westport, 1km from Tauranga Bay! Public transport is limited? I'm a Certified Plumber and Drainlayer by trade but recently retired to work on property (next stage of life!) I have hosted many people through Couchsurfing over the years! Helpx is a new concept for me I purchased the property which is in need of a lot of work to tidy up, contouring/fencing/and planting trees etc. I'm now into planting out and setting up orchard also clearing introduced plants and replanting with natives. Current projects are building a new cottage for myself which is at the internal painting stage! and similar 2-bedroom cottage as a guest house which is at the internal lining and painting stage! both will be total off grid power and water supply. Hey, hello you ! We are Caro and Chris, Zion and Kiara. We were travelling around the world since a gorgeous time until all this virus craziness happened. Caro, then Chris & Caro were backpacking, doing hitchhiking, etc... The beautiful wildlife. Then kids arrived in 2017 and 2019 so we mainly stayed travelling in Europe by van until they will be able to carry a little backpack ;) When the virus arrived, we were crossing Sweden. Everything became complicated with borders, shops and people so we decided to enjoy the strange time to build our home. We bought an over 300 years old stone house on a big peace of land which were abandoned and this new adventure started. Bretagne is a nice place full of culture, traditions, nice villages, forest and legends and history, and surrounded by the sea. After being helpers ourselves, we now want to be hosts too. We loved it so we expect people love it here too. Our kids are homeschooling with mainly their mother and we would be happy to have Eng...

We live on a small property eight minutes from Kerikeri township. We have a private lake and kayaks are available to explore. We used to run a bed and breakfast here so I guess we can say we dont bite and our place is clean and comfortable. Some animals and chickens on site. Fruit when in season. Having a vehicle to explore for times when you are not working is a must and there is no public transport here. We are meat eaters. We need help now throughout the year. I have some physical limitations and require help to get on top of STUFF. We have many trees that have been felled waiting for splitting with a fuel powered machine, paths needed to be built, gardening, general gardening tools available and I am also building a cottage. Inside work for those wet days include painting, plus preparation, cleaning windows plus other general household tasks. Woodworking/carpentry skills could be an asset. There is a workshop here if you want to pursue a project. A previous couple outfitted th...

Opening now. We offer a private self contained accommodation above the Gallery with lounge/kitchenette, double bedroom in exchange for house & garden maintenance in the Veggie gardens, and assisting our head gardener as well. The kitchenette is suitable for light meal preparations. You provide your own food. We run a Gallery venue & destination for international visitors to the island. With a busy working studio schedule here we are looking for independent, organised helpers. We are looking for ‘Experienced and Keen’ gardeners. Up to 12/14 hrs a week. Our Market Gardens are now in full swing, so weeding & assisting to general tasks like washing windows, stacking wood, sweeping as well as hedge and weed trimming occasionally. Sometimes, due to the nature of the tasks, physical fitness and some experience would be advantageous. Anyone with stone work, brick work or carpentry would be great, as we often have smaller 'one off' projects as well. Ideal for those needing a place to...

Looking for a couple to look after our lifestyle farm from the 20th of December until the 2nd of January. Let us know if you’re keen! My partner and I own a 40 acre lifestyle farm in remote Central Otago about 35 minutes from Alexandra, 1.5h from Queenstown and Wanaka. The little settlement is very beautiful and reflects the history of the area. We have 4 horses, 4 donkeys and a few cows as well as a dog. We can accommodate up to 2 people and are looking for some help with weed control/gardening and a bit of building where required. We’re renovating an old cottage so if you have building or carpentry skills that’s a bonus. Of course there will be some fun and horse riding will be part of the exchange to! We preferred length of stay is a week or more but we’re pretty flexible on this. Cheers Jamie and Thomas

Welcome to our peaceful goat farm and homestead in the beautiful Central Coast of California! We're a semi-retired couple with 20+ years of experience living off the land. Our 6-acre farm is home to dairy goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, turkeys, bees, and gardens. We do everything from milking goats and making cheese to processing lamb and poultry, fermenting vegetables, baking sourdough, and even teaching quilting and rug weaving. We host ONE helper at a time to provide a personal and immersive experience. You’ll stay in a cozy, private trailer next to the house and share the guest bathroom. We cook and eat three healthy, mostly organic meals together every day using food we raise or organically source. Our lifestyle is omnivorous, mostly gluten free and we do not host vegans, vegetarians, or dairy-free guests—you’d miss out on too much! We ask for help with daily chores like milking, feeding, cleaning pens, gardening, and kitchen work. Afternoons are usually free, and in your downtim...

3rd of January. Help out in the morning (2 hrs), surf or relax in the afternoon. We are looking for 1 more happy helper to join our team, to assist us mainly with house keeping and general hospitality tasks. Easy tasks, but would like to have someone with eye for detail and a 'can do' attitude. Our lodge is a historic Kauri building situated right on the 90-Mile Beach at Shipwreck Bay in Ahipara, famous for its surf. We are a small guest house with 18 beds and a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Our guests come here mainly for surfing and to visit Cape Reinga. If you are not into surfing, no problem, its a great place to hang out and make friends. The beach is right in front of the lodge, a fantastic place to chill. Position available 3rd of January

Welcome to paradise! This is a gorgeous 1960’s cottage that looks over native bush and the ocean with a 180 degree view. It’s a three minute walk to the beach and a ten minute walk via coastal tracks to Oneroa centre, where you can do food shopping and find cafes. 3 min walk to bus stop. It’s very peaceful yet central, and north facing so sunny. I need help cleaning the house and also occasionally outdoor work but can only accommodate people for a few days at a time. No long stays at all because my son stays with me 50% of the time and you would have his room when he is not here. This is a non-smoking house. Open to females or couples though it’s not a large room. Upcoming available dates: 27 Nov-1st December Please only message about these dates at the moment thanks.

We have a vineyard, olive trees and vacation houses near Tropea in Calabria. We need a couple to help us for some week from september to june for vintage, olive harvest, gardening, general maintenance and internet announcements. We are used to give local products and teach you how to prepare traditional dishes. We appreciate if you work more hours on weekends because we are at home. You have a free day in the week. If we have time, we can show you around our region and our white sandy beaches. We would be glad to welcome people from all over the world to our home. We prefer couples. Feel free to write us an Email! It's possible to contact us early, that's not a problem!

With winter we action a great progressive project to plant and regenerate areas with hundreds of native trees. Creating windbreaks, animal shelter, and native bird habitat. Come and join in on a creative and rewarding project. We generally work 4-5 hours a day. We have clean and ...

The next specific needs are: a) looking for helpers for 21 December onwards for mainly housekeeping/cleaning and...
