Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing, and energizing our own water though Ionisation. Water conservation is part of life for me. You can come to Maryborough via plane, bus or train. The Hervey Bay Airport is only 30min from my home. There are meanwhile several bus companies to choose from. If you use the train please book Maryborough town from the drop down menu. The shuttle bus from the train station in Maryborough west (20 min out of town) is free of charge if it is pre-booked. As international travelers you qualify for a concession card on Queensland trai...

Our quiet, secluded, 12 acre smallholding is home to our herd of 33 Alpaca, 18 rare breed Sheep, 6 Geese, 16 Ducks, ~20 Chickens and two pigs (in the summer). Located alongside the river Chew it also has a small orchard and walled vegetable garden. The 14th Century Farmhouse is a delightful home to Sarah, Chris and our 10 year-old daughter Penny, and of course our three Labradors and cat - but also an ongoing renovation project. The accommodation for Helpers is a twin-bedded bedroom; so will accommodate up to two who are happy to share the room. The bathroom and all other amenities are shared with the family. Laundry and WiFi are free for Helpers' use. It is our preference for Helpers to eat with the family. Should you want a little more privacy, we do have a caravan available (for the summer months). As hosts, we would welcome volunteers with any of the following interests: conservation; gardening; animal husbandry; hedge maintenance; land management; DIY (to name but a few...)

We are 10 minutes from Byron and we can see the famous Byron lighthouse from our front balcony. We love hosting Help X guests. We also need help in managing a 6000 sq meter block with a garden that needs a lot of work and a big house that needs cleaning. Our house has views and a pool and spa as well as a media room, all of which, we share with you. If you are over 25, we may be able to lend you a small Toyota Yaris which is registered for free Byron Bay parking in most places. You can use it for short trips into Byron and but you will need to work out how to share the car and petrol costs if we have several helpers staying. Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover younger drivers and without a car, you may find us too isolated as there is no public transport. We ask for 20 hours of work a week not counting cleaning up after meals and when you are leaving, cleaning the studio or your room. You can either work whenever you choose and record your hours each day or wor...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

Preference will be given to helpers with a genuine interest in learning about NZ dairy farming and animal husbandry. We love sharing what we do and prefer to host helpers with a desire to learn. We run a boutique dairy farm, milking a small herd of much loved cows and selling raw milk to our wonderful customers Starting a new business is hard work and not for the faint-hearted. If you consider yourself up for the challenge of helping us, we'd love to hear from you! We offer a family environment with opportunities for farm work, housework, gardening and cooking. There is a wide variety of work available. Working with the animals of course, weed control, plus fencing work, painting, carpentry, building and lots of different small tasks to complete. If outdoor work doesn't appeal, help in the house with cooking and cleaning is always appreciated, and the large and previously neglected garden also requires a lot of work. We try to fit the work to each helper's skills and interests, and ...

Hello! We are Andrew and Gail We are a British couple who made the move to France many years ago in search of a different way of life. What began as an adventure renovating old buildings by ourselves has grown into a life we love in the beautiful Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park, one of France's best-kept secrets. Before settling here, we spent years traveling, volunteering, and exploring different cultures. We spent extensive time on the road traveling by motorcycle, volunteering on community projects, and meeting wonderful people along the way. Those experiences taught us how rewarding cultural exchange can be, and they continue to shape the way we welcome helpers today. For more than twenty years we have been exploring and falling in love with this remarkable region. We now run three holiday homes in and around the village of Le Monestier, welcoming guests who come here to enjoy nature, walking, cycling, photography, local culture, and the simple pleasure of being surrounded ...

The accomodation is a 8' x 12' studio with a small covered front porch. There's high speed wifi and solar power, and it's surrounded by forest. There's a nice hexagonal composting toilet, an outdoor shower, and a shared kitchen and dining area. Looking for someone who can work independently on some tasks (gardening, painting) while I'm at my day job, and we'll work together some too (tree planting, construction projects). I work as a zipline guide and love touring people around the Island, so I'd be happy to take you on adventures on the weekends too!

Join Us for Everyday Life in New Orleans What It’s Like to Stay Here If you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay while experiencing New Orleans beyond the usual visitor path, we’d love to meet you. We think of our home as a place to live, not just a place to sleep. Guests stay in a private bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed and, most of the time, a private bathroom with its own shower. Our home is modern, clean, air conditioned, and thoughtfully cared for because we work hard to make it a place we’d be excited to stay ourselves. Occasionally, family, returning guests, or friends may be visiting, so a bathroom is sometimes shared. We enjoy having a lively home, and those unexpected overlaps have often led to great conversations and new friendships. During the weekdays, you’ll usually have the house largely to yourself while we’re at work. We enjoy spending time together when schedules line up, but you’ll also have plenty of freedom to explore New Orleans at your own p...

Hello. We are a small Llamas farm, located in the Pyrenees mountains. If you are looking for an original French experience, it could be the right place for you! Here in the high Pyrenees, near the Andorra & Spanish border, we offer you the possibility to live and work in a calm and isolated place, surrounded by high mountains and nothing but pure nature, and good meals "à la française" after our activities among our lamas (about 15 of them). We are a retired French couple, but we used to work and live in foreign countries and continents, which made us interested in people and cultures from all over the world. In the surroundings, there are beautiful places that we would be happy to make you discover, and if you want, we can trek together with Llamas... For your own, you get an entire and cosy apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 or 2 people, single or couple), and join us for generous meals, mostly with local products, that we like to share and appreciate together (so, no vegetarian requir...

We are looking for helpers from right now and have space for one or two people. We have three small cabins, two with double beds and one with a single bed so room for up to five helpers normally but only room for two at the moment as we have another couple staying. All the helpers share a kitchen and bathroom. From now end of June we need help with some building work so preference will be given to people who already have some skills with tools.. We are a great place to start or end your time in New Zealand as we are only 45 minutes drive from Auckland airport. The work will be varied and interesting but usually building and garden based. It could include finishing off an underground earth bag hobbit hole. We have a passion for earth building and organic gardening. Its good if you are over the age of 20, are self motivated and can work unsupervised. We are located on Auckland's beautiful West Coast only 40mins drive from Auckland central city. We are looking for an individual or couple to help out to help and have a 10year old son so we will ask for references etc as his safety is key. Lots of chores around the farm (but not a real working farm) and with the horses. We would also love a builder or carpenter but none of these things are a must as it is just nice to have a hand and meet new people and share the lovely area we live in. A couple or family would be welcome and kids for Samuel to play with would be great we would be happy to be even more flexible for a longer term stay. Previous long term helpers have used us as a base to go off and explore Europe and come back in between to work for a bit and save some money ad we have had people stay for up to a year and are now life long friends. Most reviews are from Devon but in 2014 23 inherited a falling down farm house with 73 acres in mid wales near Shropshire border. We have moved all our animals up and desperately need help especially anyone with building gardening a...

I am a retired man from Germany 71 years old, living with my 2 dogs on lovely Orange Garden, West Coast of Peloponese. Most of the work will involve gardening, like planting, pruning, harvesting oranges and olives. Other work includes tidying up the place, general household chores, painting building and maintenance of the 8 bungalows I rent to tourists. I ask for 4-5 hours a day, 1 or 2 days free for your own. Low season helpers can use a bungalow for accommodation. You might cater for yourself or join me for meals. WiFi internet is available. Ideally volunteers would be over 25 years, have some knowledge of general maintenance and gardening. The bus stop is 500m from home, the 70km beach of Kyparissia Kolpos is about 2,5km. See my homepage. I am fluent in German, English and Greek. I am looking forward to your visit.

The helper accommodation is a double room in a 200 year old Cotswold stone house located in a small village near Stroud. There’s woodland above and it’s in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty backing on to the Toadsmoor valley. The house is 35 mins walk from Stroud town centre. There are a few shops in the village as well as a pub nearby. The house is surrounded with the hills and countryside on your doorstep and lovely views. From the garden...great for forest walks and exploring the Cotswolds. English, Spanish and French is spoken. I have my child with me half the week.. We aim to work an average of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. The work is varied but currently there are raised beds to make for growing vegetables, a chicken run to make, chickens to feed and care for, gardening, cooking, cleaning , or generally helping with whatever task is being done at the time, though no need of experience as I'm happy to teach techniques. Anyone with motivation and who's fairly indep...

A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. We can easily talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. It's becoming difficult to afford free meals to helpers because of rapid and continuous economic inflation, especially foods under the COVID pandemic, wars and Japanese currency depreciation. From July 2026, you are asked to share cost of meals during homestay. Amount may be 40000 to 50000 Yens per month, depending on your cooking skill. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am...

I am...
