Our family runs a western riding facility with 30 stalls, where we provide horse boarding and training, including reining and cow work. We also have a western saloon, where we host weddings, special events, and are open for our club members on weekends. Hello! I am looking for enthusiastic helpers for a week of outdoor work. The tasks will vary and will include building, gardening, permaculture, lawn mowing, and stacking wood, depending on your skill level and eagerness to learn. We have two rooms available one with a queen bed and the other with a single bed available, which will suit either a couple or a single helper. It’s important that you can understand English well for your safety. At the moment, we have several animals on the property: 9 cows of mixed ages, sheep, laying chickens (chooks), 2 friendly large dogs, 1 cat, and 5 turtles. Our animals live a stress-free life and are not afraid of people. If you feel nervous around animals, I will likely keep you away from them until you feel comfortable. Hello, i would be happy for help. There is a lot to do on this place, mostly in the garden. Technical help, e.g. installation of solar panel, building a greenhouse, renovation of an old cattle house would also be needed. A carpenter and a bricklayer would be also great. About the host. I love welcoming the world to my home by having friends from all over come and stay. I am also an Airbnb host, which I enjoy for the same reason. Sharing interests, experiences and perspectives enriches. And seeing others enjoy our places and the area has made me appreciate it even more. Hello, and thank you for looking at our page/profile! We are looking for a helper (1 person) during springtime ( 2026 ) for a 2 week period but that can be further negotiated. Work will be starting in April and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn. Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All of this work we do together. Further work includes simple window washing, exterior window and door painting.
