Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

Kia Ora (Hello and welcome) I'm Tania, I live in beautiful Paradise Valley, a peaceful rural part of Rotorua just 10 minutes from the city centre. I live on a lifestyle property with a stream running through it, native bush, and plenty of gardens. I also have a subdivision up the road from where I live which I'm still developing, no properties are on the land yet. Both properties are where nature, calm, and productivity all come together. I'm an active business owner who appreciates a tidy, well-kept environment, and I value people who enjoy working hard, seeing results, and taking pride in what they've achieved. I'm looking for helpers who are fit and strong and used to outdoor work and who genuinely enjoy getting stuck into tasks - whether its moving cattle, general farming skills, using a chainsaw or helping in and around the house doing property projects - and who want to learn, contribute, and feel great about what they've accomplished. After the work is done, its time to rel...

Hi there - we are a small family of three - Glen and Annette; and Emily (21). Also included in our family is our geriatric dog - a Westie called Daisy. We have a quirky architecturally designed home perched on a hillside which is surrounded by mature gardens. It is like living in a tree house - with lovely views! The gardens take a lot of time to maintain and there is always weeding and sweeping up of leaves to keep everyone very busy! We would like your help as many hands make light work and it is nice chipping in together to get stuff done so the rest of the day can be enjoyed relaxing! If you like cooking that is always welcome too - we love to experiment with food and enjoy a good pizza making session with our woodfired pizza! Stoke is just a hop, skip and a jump from the Nelson Airport; Nelson City and close to all the beautiful areas like Tahunanui Beach and Rabbit Island which Nelson has to offer! We are on the border of Richmond so quite central to this area too. The...

We run a three bedroom accomodation located in the beautiful historic area of Kerikeri just up from the Stone Store. We are looking for preferably a single person (ranking as mature) interested in staying at the lodge and taking care of the general running of things (around 2-4 hours per day , negotiable) This is very relaxed and mostly entails greeting guests in the afternoons and showing them to their rooms (only when we have bookings), cleaning rooms if the cleaner is away, taking bookings as well as some general property maintenance. You will stay in a separate part of the lodge with full kitchen, private room and bathroom. I am generally around the lodge most days but leave in the evenings as I live with my partner out of Kerikeri. So we work as a team. This means you will likely be taking care of yourself in the evenings, so being able to cook is important. We include you in most socil activities if you are keen, such as sailing. We’ve recently purchased a beautiful lifestyle property in North Canterbury and are looking for friendly, practical helpers to stay with us and lend a hand with a variety of projects as we settle in. Help is mostly light to moderate outdoor work, such as: Painting and general maintenance Gardening, pruning, and fencing Odd jobs around the property We also have horses, so if you have experience and interest, we’d love help with them too — but this is entirely dependent on your comfort and skill level. In return, you’ll be staying in a relaxed, welcoming home with a social, easy-going couple who genuinely enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning about different walks of life. We’ve both had plenty of life experiences and value good conversation, laughter, and shared meals. Our location is a big bonus: Close to stunning beaches for swimming and horse riding Conveniently near the highway Easy access to Amberley, Leithfield, Rangiora, and Christchurch We’re also developing a ...

Our farm is in the mountains of Lares, a rural region in the center of the Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico. A town well known for the rebellion insurgency called "El Grito de Lares", also well known for the coffee plantations and the culinary festivities. Lares has great rivers, beautiful sceneries and nice climate. In this great countryside we manage an agricultural, educational and community project, Proyecto Agroecológico Campesino/PAC. Our mission has been to produce food in a sustainable way, facilitate a practical learning farm for students and share knowledge with the community. For this we work in the transformation of two acres, in an integral farm where combines crop production, animal husbandry, resource management, restoration of soil and ecosystems, inspired by the agroecological principles. We invite you to join us on our every day activities to build a sustainable farm and to share knowledge and experiences. The accommodation includes a private room with kitchen, bat...

No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

Please note : We are booked out until mid February. Please read our profile before you write to us!!! Hello lovely helpers, welcome to "Breakfast at Tiffany's" which refers to a movie from 1961, It's also the title of a song from 1993. Before we introduce ourselves I would like to let you know that we are not worried about your skills, we don't expect any experts, but someone who genuinely loves plants and to help. We prefer if you can cook and bake bread. For us, communication is the most important thing and best is someone who has a sense of humor and fits into our sociable family. If you are a recluse and rather hide in your room or look at your phone or can't commit to help due to your circumstances, please don't apply. We like playing (modern/strategic) board games, card games and often play Codenames, Concept, Cascadia, Azul, Tsuro and Bananagrams, which can be played even with limited English. So we prefer helpers who like to join in sometimes. If you like chess, ask Andrew ...

We are a family with two boys (11 and 13), living in the country-side between Auckland and Hamilton. We are a handy first or last stop as we are only 40 min from Auckland airport yet in beautiful, rural surroundings. We have chickens and a cat and 12 farm dogs at work. Within a short drive you will find stunning hikes of varying lengths - Mt William Walkway (10min away), Vivienne falls (15min away) and Hunua Ranges (30min away). We always welcome help with the house, garden and various jobs around the place. The activities vary depending on the season (harvest fruit and vegetables, AirBnb changeover, cut firewood, spring clean, gardening, painting, cut hedges, help at the local school and community events, etc). And there are ALWAYS two boys wanting to play - cards, rugby, soccer, board games, hide and seek, make fires outside. We go to town at least once a week for groceries and errands and sometimes we go to friends and help at their place for a change of scenery. I know what it i...

We are Sunny from China and Jeff from New York and we live in a small town in Oklahoma called Olustee of about 500 people. Nearby is a city called Altus of 19,000 people with stores, bars, restaurants and entertainment. You are invited to our place, either just to visit or to stay and help out. We have 4 bedrooms for travelers and helpers in our guest house available for you (can accommodate probably up to 10 people) and there is also a game room, swimming pool (in the summer) and basketball court on the property. We also have campgrounds with a fire pit and tents.
