I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Hei ! Here is Ingunn and Mathieu. We are a Norwegian-French couple and since mai 2021 a happy family of three. Our family house "Karnes Gaard" is a farm since the 16th century. In 1912, Ingunn's grand father gave part of the land for the Tromsø county to build "Solhov", prestigious boarding school and largest wooden building north of Trondheim. When Ingunn took over the farm in 2009, running it organically felt something obvious. And when Solhov was for sale the next year, a dream became possible : sharing our love for the Lyngen Alps by hosting guests who seek breathtaking surroundings, healthy stay and organic local food, peaceful lifestyle and carbon-free activities. Our dream is to serve as much as possible our organic and local products to these guests. Originally we grow potatoes and strawberries. We are trying several small scale production to see what is possible to grow here up north. At the moment, we are focusing in : - increasing our honeybees park, hives and flowers -...

We live in a beautiful part of the world between the beach and Margaret River town. We live on a farm with multi- generational families, we work towards a lot of self sufficiency and we work off the farm also. Our interests include music and wellbeing. The Margaret River community is vibrant and has many activities on offer. Our family welcomes cross-cultural experience. We like our Helpxers to be happy; we offer clean, comfortable, private caravan accommodation. Tasks are dependent on helpxer skills, farm, family and home requirements (such as whipper snipping, gardening, wood splitting, domestic tasks, artistic skills and painting). Having a car is necessary as there is no public transport. We ask for 1 hour work a day (couple) and 1.5 hours work a day (single) which means that helpxers can get work off the farm, if you like. Kind regards :) Sabine, Tony and Family

Hello, I live in France since 2013, just moved to another house since 1 decembre 2024, making a big vegetable garden again. The house is on a hill with three platforms. There is a peace of land next to the river, private, for a tent . You can stay in the house and in the future in the yurt. Need some help with garden, new fences and cutting of the hedges. I live alone, I am 68 and like to work with people. My daughters and their families live in The Netherlands. I speak good French and English but I am Dutch. Like to work with kind honest people who are curious to learn more about gardening. I have 40 years of experience with energetic massage made a course, can teach people that too.

Transforming a summer house into a place for living organically. Now the winter of our discontent is ending, transformed into a glorious spring by this Galician sun; and ....sometimes, the clouds that darkened our home disappear into the deep heart of the flat lands.... So it's time to get to work in the garden and lay cement in some places. Some tasks (not all) can be somewhat boring such as cutting and stacking firewood, removing, digging, collecting vegetable remains,... I appreciate the dexterity in physical and manual works and you need to be fit and able to use your strength efficiently. Hi, I'm looking for creative minds efficient bodies who would like to get involved on an sustainable country house project, with some animals and plenty of work to do. There's a protected little forest surrounding the house with small wild animals, and 6 domestic geese, chickens, dogs and two cats. I need help with many things; work on the greenhouse which I have designed by myself, plant...

We are an operating farm. Mostly silviculture. We farm mostly trees. We are situated in one of the largest Cork Tree areas in the world.Mediterranean forest ecoystems are considered one of the most important ecosystems right after Virgin Forests. We also have lots of pine trees both for lumber and also for pine nuts. Cork and pine nut trees are a very sustainable resource as their lifespan is over 200 years and they produce cork and pine nuts during that time. We pride ourselves for being an environmentally responsible farm and we enjoy teaching volunteers and visitors about what we do. We are a Forest Stewardship Council certified farm. I am looking for short term/long term, trustworthy helpers with a respectful, mature attitude. Flexible, easy going, good natured with a good sense of humour, Initiative and common sense. Hi there everyone, I am Mark and we are looking for people to help with our on-going farm project (based on a permaculture ideas): Working on our water system, in the fields and garden, fruit trees, looking after the sheep, ducks and chickens, our on going alternative energy source, and now just starting on the communal and private spaces that are to be rebuilt. etc...... We also work at local events with lights, electrics, compost toilet rentals and generally helping out, from the local may-poll dance to concerts and working in the theatre. Please note: for high maintenance people this is not for you. Be prepared for OFF-GRID in nature experience ! A Quick Note: The shower...

I have a lovely natural building studio space, made of super adobe, that is used as a meditation/healing/sacred temple space, set in a lovely slightly wild permaculture garden, with a bee hive, flowers, veggies etc. The studio would be completely your own private space. I am happy to share some meditation/healing practices with you if you are interested. I would love help in the garden, with weeding, mulching, planting, harvesting and helping to make the garden creative, abundant, fertile and beautiful. Also need help going to the beach to collect seaweed for the garden beds. I would like to provide some meals, and have you be independent for some as well. I really like to meet and be social with helpers , and also to spend a lot of time in meditation and writing. I live in a little rural suburb near a beautiful mangrove area , and I am 40 minutes from wilsons prom, and less to other beautiful areas. A drivers license would be very helpful .

We live on a small hill farm in the beautiful county Wicklow known as the garden of Ireland. We are a family of four. Becky and Kilian and our daughters Zoe (11) and Bea (8). Fiona (18) is also staying with us this year as an au-pair. We are quite remote so it is very serene and peaceful and the view is amazing. We speak English and German as well as French. We farm organically and have 15 free range organic pigs as well as 2 horses and 5 cats. We also have a poly tunnel and farm garden where we grow vegetables for our own use. Becky works from home and Kilian when he is not farming, has an additional part time job which calls him away on projects from time to time. We live 1km outside a little village called Redcross. It has a pub that brews its own beers and there is also a restaurant, snack bar and shop. We are 20 minutes to drive from a town called Arklow which is on the sea and there is normally a chance to get a lift in but it’s only a 1 hour cycle. Wicklow is a cool part of t...
