I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

I have a beautiful property located in the heart of the Grampians at Halls Gap in Victoria, approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes from Melbourne. Currently I’m building an off-grid tiny house for myself using nearly all reclaimed materials, an outdoor kitchen and creating a natural swimming pond. I’m very passionate about having a low impact on the environment and showing how it’s possible to create a beautiful living space very cheaply and sustainably. The Grampians is a fantastic area to visit especially for international travellers! There are many stunning locations to visit close by. Also I have a busy guesthouse and often need help with housekeeping i offer free accommodation and most meals can be provided in exchange for some help on the projects. I enjoy sharing knowledge and experiences

We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

WELCOME TO PARADISE GLENORCHY! We are a busy couple working full time and needing help with our property. Based in the spot chosen by the original settling family in the area, we have a really well established garden that needs taming and some quirky buildings that need some TLC. Looking for hardy gardeners, handy DIYers and folks who are keen to just generally get stuck in. We have a great retro caravan, sleep out, outdoor kitchen and bathroom set up that's screaming out for someone, two friends or a couple to bring it to life. At this stage we a only provide breakfast, but could do lunch in some situations. We have heaps of freezer space and suggest you stock up on a few dinners, and drinks in Queenstown before you get here as the local shops are a bit pricey. Spark phone signal is limited to the end of the drive, OneNz works just fine. - free internet available. We recommend helpers have there own wheels, as we're 5km outside of Glenorchy. There is however a bike you can use if ...

This is a language cafe is designed for those who are willing to meet Korean locals and the ones from overseas. We provide them with the time and the place to meet and get to know each other while have conversations in English. I know from my experience that travelling or staying in other countries is not just doing sightseeing but experiencing the real life there. Here we try to bond them together as friends. If you are looking for something that can give you a chance to meet locals and to be mingled with them, this would be the best option for you. About the program : This is about the language practice and sharing their cultures, experiences and the thoughts. As long as you are an easygoing person to talk, open-minded and fluent in English, you can join us. As we are NOT looking for English teachers, it really doesn't matter which country you're from and you don't have to teach but have a conversation in English. And basically it is a 2 way conversation so you don't have to ta...

Cleaning and tidying. Own room, bathroom, internet access and food is provided. You must not have an allergy to bee stings.

(La description en français se trouve plus bas !) We are a small Buddhist community living in the forest close to Sainte-Julienne, Quebec. We have an organic fruit tree nursery, along with many other projects on our land: several fruit orchards, chickens and bees, growing our own vegetables and herbs and trying to be independent in many ways. The six people who are staying are: Ajan, Eric, Veronique, Elisabeth, Natalie and Camille. Each of us have arrived here one by one, at first just interested in helping out in the place, and then as we found that this lifestyle was for us, deciding to stay for longer. For part of the year we also have a couple of employees staying with us. There is also a wonderful dog named Dali. Our organic nursery and garden occupies a land of 9 hectares, surrounded by forest. As well as the main land of the nursery, we have another smaller land where a few of us live. This is, in fact, where the community started to grow from very small beginnings in the ear...

This helpx is a unique opportunity, ideally suited for a solo male from 30-60 years old. This mansion is our family home nearing completion and we are looking for someone to help a little around the house each day, some painting and light tasks. There is other family at the house as well and we treat everyone good. Our 4 story, 17 bedroom home is in the final stages of construction. We have king sized bedrooms with AC, some with private ensuites. Wifi is in the house and there are many beaches and pools on the family property. You can walk right out the back and jump in the ocean if you want. Our home is on my wife's family property. Given to her by her grandfather when she was 9 years old, she swore that she would build a home large enough so that nobody in her family would ever go without a roof over their head again. She has been building it for 10 years and it is nearing completion. It's right on the west coast just outside Negril. As far as the eye can see, it is all fam...

I am really busy at the moment so my ability to cook is way less than I'd like - which if you read my reviews, I LIKE to do! I see it as my "job" to take good care of you, while you're helping me. HOWEVER, I am so busy I want to offer a slightly different way of doing things. Please read on and see if it suits you.. I propose you work 2.5 hours per day instead of the usual 4.5 and I will make you a yummy lunch but you will be independent of me for breakfast and dinner. You will have a comfortable self contained "cabin" with a kitchenette (and bathroom) as well as unlimited wifi, and there will be some pantry items in there, such as cereal, bread, soup, pasta etc for you to make use of. So obviously you'll need to buy some ingredients to cook your other meals each day, but I think it will be a fair "trade" for the shorter work days. We work 7 days a week but there’s flexibility in how we manage our time. Ie.; you might like to do 5 hours work then take the next day off to explore th...

Currently accepting helpers for the 2026 farming season! ***Please read the reviews below for an insight into what its really like!!!!*** More about what we do: We grow rice, cherries, apples, peaches, corn, pumpkins, cucumbers and soy-beans on our farm here in Murayama-Shi in the middle of the very beautiful Yamagata Prefecture in the north part of Japan. We grow a premium rice without chemicals and more labour intensive traditional methods which we sell direct to the customer. Our orchards unfortunately are not organic, but we are researching ways to substitute natural sprays. We have also opened a guesthouse and a mochi restaurant! We are a big (crazy) family: 3 generations, 9 people plus some local staff! Apart from my wife and I, my family only speaks Japanese! Everyone is very friendly, but you will definitely need a sense of humour, patience and a willingness to try to communicate. You would eat with the family (traditional Japanese food - so rice for breakfast and lots of...

We have a beautiful 6 hectare property in a really awesome valley. We have animals, a stream, lots of things growing. We have a large 3 bedroom house. We have a warm modern caravan for helpers to sleep in and all the other amenities are in the house. We have 3 awesome kids (only two live at home) and a great family vibe. We need help with working the land and making it as productive as we can. We need people who are hard working and take initiative. Prior experience is great but if you are a fast learner and up for a challenge then that is great too. A love of animals is definitely helpful as well. Projects include - gardening, building, organising, helping with animals, help around the house, fencing, tree planting and more. Cheers Regan and Lisa

My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities in their lives. I would like to welcome any fluent English speakers under the age of thirty to assist my teachers in the classroom. You would help immensely by having simple conversations with the students and providing them a real English speaking experience inside or outside the classroom. All the students are very welcoming and curious about my visitors, and I am certain that you will have a great experience while interacting with them. You can expect to answer all their questions, pose for pictures, and be invited...

Happy Hills in Maheno We are hosting again this spring and summer! The farm is so beautiful in spring time and we can do with an extra pair of hands to help us on our regenerative journey. Soil health and biodiversity are key players for us. We love hearing new ideas and sharing our successes...and failures :) We are a NZ/German family of five (kids aged 10, 12 and 14) who love to travel and love meeting travellers from all over the world. We used to live on a sailing boat when the kids were smaller and sailed to many tropical islands, exploring reefs, tribal life and off grid living. Now we have swapped that life for one on the land, aiming to regenerate our little farm by introducing more and more diversity into the plant and animal kingdom. Permaculture lies close to our heart and so does animal welfare, truely healthy grown food and simplicity. We love nature, all things animals, plants and bees and our community. Our kids are homeschooled and we love it when helpers bring their...

My property is 10 hectares on the West Coast of the South Island, which starts at the coast with sand beach and sunsets and heads inland 1km through native wetlands and forest. Approximately 20km from Westport, 1km from Tauranga Bay! Public transport is limited? I'm a Certified Plumber and Drainlayer by trade but recently retired to work on property (next stage of life!) I have hosted many people through Couchsurfing over the years! Helpx is a new concept for me I purchased the property which is in need of a lot of work to tidy up, contouring/fencing/and planting trees etc. I'm now into planting out and setting up orchard also clearing introduced plants and replanting with natives. Current projects are building a new cottage for myself which is at the internal painting stage! and similar 2-bedroom cottage as a guest house which is at the internal lining and painting stage! both will be total off grid power and water supply. Next on the list is building a hot house and shade house I'...

Kia Ora (Hello and welcome) I'm Tania, I live in beautiful Paradise Valley, a peaceful rural part of Rotorua just 10 minutes from the city centre. I live on a lifestyle property with a stream running through it, native bush, and plenty of gardens. I also have a subdivision up the road from where I live which I'm still developing, no properties are on the land yet. Both properties are where nature, calm, and productivity all come together. I'm an active business owner who appreciates a tidy, well-kept environment, and I value people who enjoy working hard, seeing results, and taking pride in what they've achieved. I'm looking for helpers who are fit and strong and used to outdoor work and who genuinely enjoy getting stuck into tasks - whether its moving cattle, general farming skills, using a chainsaw or helping in and around the house doing property projects - and who want to learn, contribute, and feel great about what they've accomplished. After the work is done, its time to rel...

Available now - painting experience wanted. I have been living in Whangarei for most of my life - love it here :-) myself and partner have recently bought a home on half an acre of land a few minutes drive from the CBD and also have a Waterfront Bach 10 minutes drive away too. Love helping the community, mountain biking and mountain biking trails and exploring lots of fun things to do nearby. With these homes there`s plenty of work to be done around - including especially painting, yard work / gardening, housework, helping building a tree house etc. I`d like to meet some travellers to help out with these and happy to introduce / show around some of northland`s best attractions / secrets! Can provide sleeping quarters, food and drinks for around 4 hours work per day.. Can also potentially provide a bike to borrow / further allowances dependent on the level of work.. Also if anyone has any specific experience and career history as any building related trade I would happily pay a go...

I am old enough to be your grandfooppather, loving life and every second left of it, which is probably about ten years.  Debs is my Numero Uno accomplice in this endeavour; basically, to avoid the old folks home.  Happy on the endless holiday, we are Boomers aiming at staying Forever Young.  HelpX helps us do that and travel the world at the same time.  We get to listen to stories of your great adventure and hear about your homeland; maybe even see yr home (Utube and Google walkabouts). Although the house is a bit of a disaster (badly needs a paint job and leaks in the bathroom etc etc), the work is mainly in the garden: germinating, planting, weeding, weed-eatering, poisoning noxious plants and unwanted trees (Privet), pruning, slashing, hedge-clippering, schreddering, lawn-mowing, chainsawing, permaculturing and now SCRUBCUTTERing.  If wet, it'll be cleaning, sandpapering and painting inside.  I ask for 3 hours per day (9 to 12) [or 3 days of 4hrs gets a day off], and the odd domes...

Hello everyone! My name is Bird, I was working in Chiang-Mai as a photographer for 2 years then decided to become a farmer and create a Thai traditional agriculture permaculture farm in 2018. I wish to create a relaxing place that allows people from all over the world to take their time to experience life in harmony with nature. I also have four water buffalo on our farm, named Tony, Laura, Hanna and Charlie. We are a local family with a desire to preserve our simple, sustainable way of life so that we can give back to and protect mother earth. Our farm is located in Pua city, 70km north of Nan province surrounded by the mountains and rice fields, in Northern Thailand. The farm is set on 1.5 acres of land with vegetable gardens, rice paddies, farm stay and pizza restaurant. Currently, we have done with natural buildings on the farm, including bamboo huts, fences, and wooden houses. “Life is better with a Buffalo” is our farm goal and “Happiness only real when shared “ is our motto. Y...

We are a hybrid family with a 13-year-old daughter with us 50% of the time and 2 personality filled cats. We are looking for someone (or a couple) to join us from December for 4 weeks (or longer). The assistance needed is help in the substantial-sized garden. Gardening/Home Handyperson experience would be great. Because it's spring/summer time the garden will definitely need attention, including preparing the ground and planting. Abigail is a lovely girl (& no, it’s not just us who think so!) She loves reading, board and card games, baking, the trampoline... she's easy to have fun with. She enjoys our international helpers and has created many friendships; most stay in regular contact with us. Sometimes you are required to assist with getting Abigail to and from activities, so a full license is preferred. The overall help requested is a couple of hours per day, Monday to Friday. There is a bit of flexibility as to how these play out. We (Darryl and Theamarie) work from home so are g...

Kia ora from Kay and Keith We have a dedicated cottage for our Helpx guests next to our home. You will have your own space - cottage accommodation ( 40 sqm cabin with stunning mountain views, queen bed and bunks, kitchenette, simple bathroom - but you are welcome to use our full bathroom which is just adjacent to our house). 🏡 Stay in a Unique Wildlife Sanctuary near Currumbin Beach – Help with Gardening, House Projects & More I’m Deborah, and I live in a peaceful bushland home on the ridge in Elanora, on the beautiful Gold Coast (Southeast Queensland). The property is part of a koala sanctuary — wallabies regularly visit the backyard, and if you’re patient, you might spot a koala in the treetops. You’ll definitely hear them at night! Despite the natural setting, we’re only a 5-minute drive from Currumbin Beach and close to local shopping centres, bushwalks, weekend markets, and iconic surf spots. 🌿 About the Stay: I’ve recently moved back into my home and am still getting everything properly set up after a long and difficult few years dealing with insurance and rebuilding. The house is a work in progress — but a beautiful one — and helpers have always been welcome here. Sleeping arrangements currently include inflatable bedding, and there are still some basic household things being sorted out. Most gu...

If you’re interested in helping on a beef cattle farm, cuddling foals and experiencing the Aussie farm life, you are most welcome here. We have a number of building jobs going at the moment so if you are handy with mechanics, metal, wood or a paint brush, that would be very helpful to us. Your daily tasks would be to feed the animals in the morning and evening, and caring for the mare and foal, gardening and general farm chores or in the household. There is always something to do. It would be great if you know how to drive a manual vehicle and you can learn to drive a tractor or a quad here. In exchange you can choose between a cozy room or caravan with everything inside that you need and I provide food for all your meals. You prepare your own breakfast and lunch and in the evening we have a home cooked dinner together. We also have unlimited WiFi and a car that you can use to visit the local area. We are located on the edge of a small country town of Blayney in NSW, 3 hours w...

Hello Helpers! Glenmaye Farm is a picturesque 700 acre diverse but mostly Beef cattle farm in the foothills of the Strathbogie Ranges. 2 hours north of Melbourne and about 15mins from Euroa just off the Hume Fwy. If you like hiking to hidden waterfalls and secluded waterholes and escaping in nature then you will love Glenmaye! We have it all. We have 2 households living on the farm, myself with my children half the time in the original house and my parents in their self designed and built dream house up on the hill. We operate a boutique furniture hire business which takes us off farm and as far away as Canberra, Wilsons Prom and Warrnambool at times. Recently we have listed 6 sites on Hipcamp with the option to book out all the sites for weddings, wellness retreats or private parties. That said, there is always something to do, from stock work to pulling weeds, to cleaning furniture or repairing fences. There is even website maintenance…We are happy to teach our skills and ...

We are looking for 2 helpers now for a few days this week up to a week. We have lots of fun with our helpxers - please read our reviews. Do you want to come to a beautiful beach town for a week just north of Auckland? Be sure to read our reviews. With being close to Auckland we are often a helpx's first stop and are happy to give you advise and suggestions for your trip around Northland or the rest of the country. Your own transport is preferred as we are rural and there is no public transport. If you have a van, that is great as when we airbnb our place, you can sleep in your van. We have a small cabin which is not great, but OK. It is not insulated and has some leaks but we have lots of duvet/bedding to keep you warm. If you sleep in your van or the cabin you have access to our bathroom and shower etc. When you contact us please let us know any dietary restrictions as this is important to us to know as we eat everything, but can sometimes accommodate dietary requests but...

Currently looking for 1 or 2 helpers. I have a home and garden with a swimming pool in tropical Cairns. I rent the guest rooms out on Airbnb and swap the accomodation with helpers when they're staying. Jobs for helpers include - general garden tidy up (it's a tropical jungle so you need to be ok with bugs, ants etc), and inside and out house cleaning. Things like weeding, piling up all the big leaves and vines on the green waste pile, cleaning the roof and gutters, washing walls, windows, floors, cleaning the concrete and bricks outside with the high powered water pressure cleaner... possibly painting the fence with oil if it's dry enough. Wifi, amenities, coffee and tea included. I usually do not provide food as I work odd hours and have to eat a specific diet for health reasons, though am happy to share meals and swap for more help when it works best that way. I provide basics like sugar, oil, soap, linen, etc.. and lots of info about the area. There are great cafes, the botanical ...

AVAILABILITY: We are having a Christmas break and will REOPEN Jan 10th 2026. Hello! We’re Josie and Mel. We would love to share our quiet but playful home with you. We live in a welcoming and progressive neighbourhood in Hobart, Tasmania. It is our oasis from the crazy world. We are a queer couple: one a professional gardener (training to be a therapist) and one a teacher. We have many interests, are widely travelled and love meeting people. We are lucky to have the best of two worlds. Our house sits in the foothills of Mount Wellington with beautiful views surrounded by trees and bird song. We are also very close to bus services into the city, which is an 8-minute drive away. There’s a hammock on our deck and we have bush walking at our doorstep. We are regularly visited by wallabies, pademelons, cockatoos, ravens, honey eaters, and if lucky, a platypus in the creek. You are welcome to peruse our many books if you are interested in spirituality, environment, poetry and psychology...

As we are NOT looking for English teachers, it really doesn't matter which country you're from and you don't have to teach but have a conversation in English. And basically it is a 2 way conversation so you don't have to ta...

We are looking for an individual that can assist in our family beekeeping business. There will be a variety of roles, shed work and assisting with the beekeeping. You will not work directly with the bees, mostly opening and closing the beehives, lifting honey boxes/buckets, driving quad bike. You must be fit as there is a heavy lifting (20kg+) involved.

Come experience the stunning views of Te Mata overlooking Whangarei Harbour and Bream Bay. We are looking for helpX volunteers for one or more weeks in exchange for accommodation in a spacious room in the main house, 3 delicious meals a day, and, of course, a great time.

I'm a Certified Plumber and Drainlayer by trade but recently retired to work on property (next stage of life!) Kia Ora (Hello and welcome) I'm Tania, I live in beautiful Paradise Valley, a peaceful rural part of Rotorua just 10 minutes from the city centre.
