I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

We are restoring an old traditional Béarnaise house located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the Ouzom valley. We want to share it with people who can help us with the garden as well as with the house to maintain or restore it. Assistance activities concern the maintenance or restoration of buildings (lime plaster, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, etc), maintenance of the garden (brush clearing) and its vegetable garden, whether it is windy or raining, depending on the projects in progress and the skills of each. Slug hunting to be planned every evening at nightfall. Once a week a complete cleaning of the premises will be carried out by all. We ask for 5 hours help a day, 5 days a week. We offer accommodation in a large 4-bed dormitory. Please, bring your work gloves and clothes , if you have any. Everyone must be autonomous and responsible enough to know how to clean and store the tools or things they have used, as well as to participate daily, outside helping time, in all the househo...

My name is Esperanza, I run a language school. I'm looking for an easy going native English speaker to help us with conversation classes and different activities. It is a great educational project where we aim to develop students interest in the language in a natural way. We live in a nice area surrounded by mountains, our house is big , so we recently started an online rental program to meet new people from all over the world. The language school is 8 minutes away on foot from our house. I live with my son, Mikel, who is a university student. While you stay with us, you will be able to take part in lots of activities. Zalla is a town with lots of facilities where you can do nearly everything you can imagine. If you are interested in learning Spanish, we will be more than happy to help you! We live 20 minutes from Bilbao in a lovely town called Zalla. There is a good bus/train service to Bilbao. Volunteers also can visit, Santander, San Sebastian, Burgos, Pamplona either of these ci...

Kia Ora travellers! I live with my dog, Nala, in a beautiful big and warm house on a 27 acre life style block with native bush and a little creek. I have an organic vegetable garden and orchard growing fresh vegetables, hazelnuts, walnuts and chestnuts. You can also enjoy great views of the Banks Peninsula from here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s only 1 hour away from Christchurch city and 30 mins from Akaroa, a lovely seaside town with a rich French heritage. I used to be a Tour Guide for overseas tourists, so I know every nook and cranny of the Great Aotearoa. I would be happy to share with you our culture, history and many stories. I also used to host overseas backpackers when living in Christchurch and I always enjoy having company and learning about cultural differences. There is plenty to do to keep busy and be creative - planting trees, pruning, cleaning up bonfires, getting stuck into the big garden. Work hours are flexible and will be max 4 hours (mos...

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. We are a family of 5 living in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Sue is the founder of Peaceful Hollow. Her daughter Ruth moved to the Hollow later as well as her husband Tim and their 2 daughters. Our hollow is quite with no neighbors in sight. There are no city lights, and you can see every star on a clear night! Our homestead consists of Sue's workshop/cabin, Tim & Ruth's cabin and one very small guest cabin. Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. . We have a lot you can be involved in, knowledge to share, friendships to build, and opportunities for growth. Below are our routines and some projects. We would love to involve you! - Caring for our honey bees, chickens,...

Hello helpers travellers We live in the French Alps, in Maurienne, in a ski resort : Les Sybelles. We are a couple of 40 yo, with a super sportive dog and recently we adopted a cat. We're looking for helpers from May to October. We live close to Le Corbier in a little wooden chalet, almost lost in the forest, accessible by walking (20 min) or by quad. It is at 1500m altitude. Easier if you have your own car to travel around but all good if you don't. The Corbier is accessible by a walk. We can come to pick you up in St Jean de Maurienne, the nearest town. Hitch hiking works well. It's a wooden chalet, that we're restoring and it will be our main home for now and near future. It relies on solar panel and spring source. We're tend to be self sustainable and autonomous. We have 3 hen for their eggs. We do a lot of our own things, like preserves vegetable, lacto-fermentation, our own tomato sauce and ratatouille for all year round, our own compote... any ideas or things you could eve...

I'm constantly busy and almost always not at home. Ideally I would need help for a few hours a day. I have a car we can share if you have a driving licence. So you can explore around. Or I can be your guide in my free time.

What your experience will be like A typical day might include: Helping in the café or kitchen Preparing guest rooms for retreat visitors Gardening or maintaining the grounds Supporting creative or renovation projects You’ll usually help 5 days a week, with 2 days off to explore the Lake District, walk by the sea, or simply relax. This is a small project in a heritage farm house in beautiful Lower Saxony. We are,at the moment, three people, two cats and some chickens. We speak German, English, French and Spanish. Our house is in the middle of the village, and we enjoy the contact to the people around us. We've got an idyllic yard and sometimes do parties or small cultural events - this year, we are taking a break though to concentrate on some bigger building projects. Otherwise, we cook together, or just hang out. Most of us are working/studying, so you might spend some time alone around the house - or you can go swimming in our local swimming pool, biking or hiking around the village or visit the World Heritage sites in nearby Hildesheim! Help needed around the year would mainly be renovation/restoration, e.g. plastering, painting, maybe some carpentry (as in improving the chicken coop or, if you feel like it, restoring old furniture), but we are also happy if you help with the house work, the garden, or cooki...

Permaculture project with idea and space to create an eco-village. The quinta is located in Alto Alentejo 2km from Portalegre. 15 hectares with magical forests and a beautiful valley provided by seventeen sources and several mines with healthy water where too people live permanently for the moment,Isabel, a communication manager and Michel, a carpenter who is the founder of the project. There is also one dog, five cats, for chickens and six sheep. The project is now in the phase when it’s open so that more people can live here. Because parts of the ruins are ready for occupancy, there is space for people who want to stay longer, which can bring new and stronger dynamics throughout the year, not like before, when there was only a lot going on in the summer months. So far there is already a beautiful gardens going on and numerous species of plants, shrubs and trees which deliver us plenty of food. Now until 18th June 2026 is available for HelpX so might suit those already in Ireland or a short flight away. Suit couple or two friends or solo travellers. Minimum 3 days stay. My name is Ruairi and I’m an Irishman restoring a 15th century castle. It had been vacant for 10 years and needs some renovation. It's located in County Galway in the West of Ireland and surrounded by farmland. It has always been my dream to live in a castle and I am very interested in historical research. I have lived and travelled all around the world and am happy to show visitors around the area. The pubs in this part of the world are famous for traditional live music. The building is on a small plot of land and is a small tower house three stories high. The accomodation is basic and there is limited food preparation facilities at the moment. All electrics and plumbing are working. Bedrooms have central heating radiators. The castle was fully restored in the 1980's but has been vacant for 10 years and so...

We manage this bush regeneration project and work to bring the land back to its original natural splendour. Most of the work here revolves around weed management, tree planting and predator (invasive) species control. There are also home and construction projects to get involved with plus help/activites with our young children is always welcome 🤗 This is a beautiful place to come and experience. We are right on the edge of both Ocean and Proctors beach as well as nearby beautiful hiking walks. Swimming, surfing, beach walks, kayaking and hiking are some of the activities you can enjoy. We.previously lived in Boreen Point on the Sunshine Coast where we hosted many helpers through helpx with amazing reviews over a period of 17years.. Most never wanted to leave. We have now moved and bought an equally stunning property in Far North Queensland in a small country town (Cardwell) on 3 acres 10 minutes from beach. We are located between Cairns and Townsville and just south of Mission Beach. Terry and I are not as young as we used to be and are struggling with maintaining the property. We need help for 4hours a day, with weeding, mulching, pruning and watering the gardens and general house cleaning. We back onto tropical rainforest and creek. Help around the inside of property would also be helpful. You will have your own bedroom and own bathroom (1 queen for couples and 2 queens for singles). The fridge will be stocked for you to prepare your own breakfast and lunch and we all sit together for evening meals which I will prepare. There are many stunning waterfalls and walk...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

WELCOME TO PARADISE GLENORCHY! We are a busy couple working full time and needing help with our property. Based in the spot chosen by the original settling family in the area, we have a really well established garden that needs taming and some quirky buildings that need some TLC. Looking for hardy gardeners, handy DIYers and folks who are keen to just generally get stuck in. We have a great retro caravan, sleep out, outdoor kitchen and bathroom set up that's screaming out for someone, two friends or a couple to bring it to life. At this stage we a only provide breakfast, but could do lunch in some situations. We have heaps of freezer space and suggest you stock up on a few dinners, and drinks in Queenstown before you get here as the local shops are a bit pricey. Spark phone signal is limited to the end of the drive, OneNz works just fine. - free internet available. We recommend helpers have there own wheels, as we're 5km outside of Glenorchy. There is however a bike you can use if ...

Hobbits are "little people" with big hearts and big bare feet firmly connected with mother earth. They habitually live "under the radar" of some PC embellished society and try all their best to not succumb to the madness of it. Claiming their birth right to nature's abundance, love, beauty and endless creativity they naturally make up to and make do with the lack of gold caused by the greedy child-eating dragon behind the bare stone mountains.. Hi, my name is Marianne. I live on a classic New Zealand all-day sunny "tree quarter acre of hobbit shire" looking down to Oamaru. If you arrive early enough at my kitchen window or even up on the jungle hill behind the cottage, you can see the sea and watch the sunrise. A 10 minute stroll down Eden Street gets you either to the CBD or to the shoreline. I am providing three basic meals per day as well as a comfortable and quiet room for your stay and to relax after our daily four hours of working together "out there", somewhere on some befitt...

We are Pascale, Guy and our daughter Fanette. We live in a tiny village in the beautiful valley of Ubaye, in the Alpes de Haute Provence. We got four horses and two cats who are like family to us. There's a garden, and our daughter runs a 1 hectare arboretum (botanic garden) and squirel park open to public during summer time, where visitors can explore the forest and discover land art. If you are fond of nature, fishing, hiking, kayaking, contemplation, animals and open spaces, this touristic spot is made for you! We would be glad to teach you French and help you with your adventure projects. The house is a bit far from the main city Barcelonnette but we can give you a lift if you need as we go there every day. Close to the village is a bistrot/ pub where they regularly play live music. There are lakes and rivers too where you can enjoy a sunbath. We bought a big caravan especially for the volunteers, with separate private facilities, as we think people like having their private spac...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between now and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Kia Ora travellers! I live with my dog, Nala, in a beautiful big and warm house on a 27 acre life style block with native bush and a little creek. I have an organic vegetable garden and orchard growing fresh vegetables, hazelnuts, walnuts and chestnuts.

We are a friendly, international community run entirely by volunteers, offering a unique opportunity to experience a simple, meaningful way of life inspired by Buddhist values — even if you have no previous experience. There are excellent hiking and biking trails nearby, and beaches of Lake Simcoe are only 20 minutes away by car, one hour by bike. We will be happy to drive you there. Two bicycles and high speed WiFi is available. We have two dogs and two cats. We are located one hour north of Toronto - accessible by Go Transit to Newmarket, where we will pick you up.

We are happy when someone shows enthusiasm for the garden because this is a central part...

Summer discription: besides our work on the farm we organise international workcamps, long-term stays, and voluntary work in different companies as printery, carpentry, farming, nursery If you like to learn milking cows or driving an old tractor, cutting hedges, shear sheep, build fences or throw honey, test your strength in the muck or while digging the garden - you should join us. If you find dung and greens not so interesting, we understand :-) We are a living and working community with different workshops and bio-dynamic farming in Germany, Baden-Wuerttemberg. We are doing carpentry, printing, video production, publishing and distribution - it is always possible to help. Depending what you want to learn, you can help. We have four more than less old houses here in the village, so we also have to do a lot of construction work. The farming we do is not a business for us to earn money. Kia ora, we are Claire and Simon (and young Juney & Bryn). A kiwi/aussie family who live here and look after this 24 hectare coastal property in Whangārei Heads. We manage this bush regeneration project and work to bring the land back to its original natural splendour. Over many years the land has slowly been replanted from what was once cleared grazing land back into coastal bushland. Plus we have a lovely community of friends who we socialise with regularly. You will have a studio cabin to yourself. ...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures.
