It`s been over 10 years now that we are participating in programs like this. We never get tired of new people staying and having strangers turning into friends. Also our neighbors and others in the village enjoy the exchange. They are always up for a small talk, which is great for you to practice your German! About us: We have organic breed Wagyu Beef (the most expensive meat in the world). There are 3 Horses, gooses, Chicken, sheep and a bunch of Cats that are also part of the Farm. We also grow all sort of crops. Either to feed our animals or to sell them. We also grow apples, plums, pears, potatoes and many other things that grow in a garden. There is never a time during summer where u can not just go outside and eat something straight from where it grows.. Ruesselhausen is a small village. Just perfect to be in the nature. There are bikes for you to use so you can discover the surrounding nature. It would be good if you speak a little German because not all of us speak English. ...

We are a small family with two kids (Boy - 20, Girl - 18...kids live in Perth) running a Merino farm just over the hills from Perth, surrounded by national park with plenty of native animals. Our nearest township is Wandering which has a great country pub (thats it!) and a burgeoning vineyard scene and our service town is Brookton - with a couple of pubs, supermarket, hardware, postoffice & pool. We head into town several times a week. Its a great lifestyle in a beautiful setting not far from the city. We are well travelled and broadminded and value exposure to new cultures and languages. We have several homes on the property (fully furnished) and have caretaker roles from time to time. Accomodation in exchange for light gardening duties and sheepdog sitting. Other odd jobs could include housework and light maintenance. We welcome the prospect of shared memories and new friendships. * Currently looking for a farm caretaker (ideally a couple but not a dealbreaker) from 10th July...

Check out our fantastic reviews to see what a great time helpers have had here. We offer a warm, welcoming home with a beautiful garden in easy-going Rotorua. PLEASE READ OUR PROFILE CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTACTING US. UPDATE: 🌟 We could really do with a strong, willing person to assist with a complete re-roof job in the first week of June. Then to help paint the new ceiling (Marcus can patiently teach you how to be an excellent painter). Minimum age: 25, with good English. Accommodation: Excellent accommodation - immaculate Airbnb standard room and house. Your own private double bedroom in a spacious home with a lovely garden. You will like it here! We need help in our garden in the next months, e.g. watering, weeding, cutting branches and so on. It is not hard work! We are a little unconventional community of 4 persons (67,66,72,75), 1 friendly dog and 2 playful cats and we live in a cosy house surrounded by a garden. Our children are on their own, but they sometimes visit us. We raise our own organic vegetables in several raised beds and normal garden beds. There is always something to do in the garden and around the house or walking the dog, cleaning windows and so on... We live in a small rural village in the beautiful hills of the "Odenwald". Our village is located roughly between Heidelberg and Frankfurt, also Mannheim and Darmstadt can be visited easily. There is a good public transportation to all these cities. The Odenwald is a famous hiking region and ideal for mountain biking, a bike is available. There is a climbing rock not far from our house. We speak English quite fluently and some French. ...

I am a retired man from Germany 71 years old, living with my 2 dogs on lovely Orange Garden, West Coast of Peloponese. Most of the work will involve gardening, like planting, pruning, harvesting oranges and olives. Other work includes tidying up the place, general household chores, painting building and maintenance of the 8 bungalows I rent to tourists. I ask for 4-5 hours a day, 1 or 2 days free for your own. Low season helpers can use a bungalow for accommodation. You might cater for yourself or join me for meals. WiFi internet is available. Ideally volunteers would be over 25 years, have some knowledge of general maintenance and gardening. The bus stop is 500m from home, the 70km beach of Kyparissia Kolpos is about 2,5km. See my homepage. I am fluent in German, English and Greek. I am looking forward to your visit.

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. WELCOME TO PARADISE GLENORCHY! We are a busy couple working full time and needing help with our property. Based in the spot chosen by the original settling family in the area, we have a really well established garden that needs taming and some quirky buildings that need some TLC. Looking for hardy gardeners, handy DIYers and folks who are keen to just generally get stuck in. We have a great retro caravan, sleep out, outdoor kitchen and bathroom set up that's screaming out for someone, two friends or a couple to bring it to life. At this stage we a only provide breakfast, but could do lunch in some situations. We have heaps of freezer space and suggest you stock up on a few dinners, and drinks in Queenstown before you get here as the local shops are a bit pricey. Spark phone signal is limited to the end of the drive, OneNz works just fine. - free internet available. We recommend helpers have there own wheels, as we're 5km outside of Glenorchy. There is however a bike you can use if ...

Join Our Home in Walnut Creek: A Unique Opportunity for Connection and Support Hello! My name is Bruce, and I’m looking for a reliable, friendly person to assist me with everyday life while also forming a meaningful connection. About Me and Our Home I broke my neck at 18, resulting in lifelong use of a wheelchair. Despite this, I pursued multiple degrees and have built a fulfilling life with my wife, Kim. We live in a cozy three-bedroom home in Walnut Creek, just 28 miles east of San Francisco. Our household includes our service dog, Bennett, a future service dog in training (Dorothy, our third), and two cats, Edna and Scarlett. We are on an 70 acre farm in North Pope County, Illinois and are virtually surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest. Having been on this farm for 13 years, we are still developing infrastructure and are continuing to plant in the orchard and various berries as well as establishing and expanding garden and crop areas. We are a GMO, herbicide and pesticide free farm in all of our outdoor areas. As we are far away from "modern agricultural" property, we feel that we should have no problems with cross pollination of our crops with GMO's or damage/exposure from/to ag chemicals. There are many projects currently in process or in the planning stages. This summer/fall we hope to get new water and electric lines ran to all the barns and the greenhouse as well as get a fiber studio framed in and get the finishing touches on the greenhouses. Tasks on the farm are endless, so there are always things to do year round. Clearing brush, cutting wood, building fence, baling hay, sawing lumber, ...

I am looking for people that are passionate about dogs and like to spend time and work with dogs. A pack of 24 huskies is something different than having a pet dog at home. You will be able to join our animal assisted programs with kids and young adults and learn about it. I am educated in dog physiotherapy as well and there is the possibility to learn in this field as well. Beside the main topic the huskies we have bee hives and produce our own honey. There is a big garden with fruits and vegetables that needs maintainance. To sum it up our work here is mainly outdoors with nature and animals. Every day is different so its not possible to give you a long term daily structure in advance. There are some everyday tasks in the dogcare but the rest of the work depends on the weather and the season. As we live in a small village the main freetime activities are biking and hiking. More freetime options you find in cities around in your days off. Vienna is quite close and its possible to ta...

After an intense house renovation, we are now entering the final phase, focusing on cleaning and refreshing the house. From APRIL (for about one month), we are looking for help with PAINTING work inside and outside, as well as some light gardening tasks such as weeding. This period is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and likes to see visible results at the end of the day. From JUNE onwards, as the weather becomes warmer, the help will mainly consist of daily HOUSEKEEPING tasks (cleaning, ironing), with occasionally some light gardening. We’ve found that this experience works best for people who enjoy staying active and contributing in a practical way to daily life. We truly appreciate volunteers who bring positive energy, a hands-on mindset, and a genuine willingness to help. We are a Belgian family who has been living in France for over 20 years. In our late fifties, we speak French, Dutch, English, and a bit of Spanish. Our home is located in the beautiful r...

Hello to you, travelers and curious souls 🌿 We are a small family full of energy and projects: Fabrice, Marion, and little Lucas (20 months old). We live in an old Bresse farmhouse in the Ain department, near the Jura mountains, surrounded by fields, forests, and lakes (the nearest are just 15 minutes away). The farm is located in a quiet, private setting, in the heart of 3.5 hectares of land. It's a place conducive to nature, creativity, and encounters. We are improving this farm to make it a warm, creative, and open place for sharing. This project is above all personal, driven by the pleasure of sharing and creating a welcoming place for our family, friends, and visitors. Specifically, we are improving: • The exterior (woodland, garden area, paths, plantings, etc.) • A former barn that we dream of transforming into a space for expression (music, concerts with friends, small-group celebrations), • And the space near our installed geodesic dome, used as a space for relaxation, obse...

We are restoring an old traditional Béarnaise house located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the Ouzom valley. We want to share it with people who can help us with the garden as well as with the house to maintain or restore it. Assistance activities concern the maintenance or restoration of buildings (lime plaster, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, etc), maintenance of the garden (brush clearing) and its vegetable garden, whether it is windy or raining, depending on the projects in progress and the skills of each. Slug hunting to be planned every evening at nightfall. Once a week a complete cleaning of the premises will be carried out by all. We ask for 5 hours help a day, 5 days a week. We offer accommodation in a large 4-bed dormitory. Please, bring your work gloves and clothes , if you have any. Everyone must be autonomous and responsible enough to know how to clean and store the tools or things they have used, as well as to participate daily, outside helping time, in all the househo...

This is a mountain hut immersed in Italy's largest protected park, at 1300 meters, in a forest on Mount Pollino. Managed by an official guide of the park, we organize excursions, canyoning, hiking, climbing and horseback riding throughout the park. The refuge consists of five rooms (with bathrooms) for a total of twenty beds. Kitchen and dining room in common. Helpers sleep in a room that they share together. In spring, summer and autumn volunteers are welcome to take good care of the refuge. Cooking, fixing the roof, gathering mushroom, cutting wood or making guests practice their english :) In winter... write me if you like snow!

Dear friends and volunteers, after an intensive harvest season supported by many energetic, sympathetic and impressing helpers, we are keeping countless positive memories. Now we are back from our winter laeave, and ready for the next season! Winter storms caused a lot of damage. Therefore we are in need for helping hands on the field to prune the olive trees, cut the grass, and also to repair the solar system. Moreover, our boat crashed the quay wall, but it luckily didn´t sink. But we have to take it out, do a lot of grinding, plastering and painting before it will be ready for the next boat ride. In addition, some maintenance has to be done in and around the house and the court yard. You don´t have to have any special knowledge or skills, we are happy about anyone with energy and supporting us while spreading good mood. So don't hesitate to contact us when you are around, or you want to stay with us, helping for a minimum of 10 days, preferable around 2 weeks. Please keep in min...

It`s been over 10 years now that we are participating in programs like this. We never get tired of new people staying and having strangers turning into friends. Also our neighbors and others in the village enjoy the exchange. They are always up for a small talk, which is great for you to practice your German! Your Role & Contribution While Kim is my full-time caregiver, I need help with tasks that offset my paralysis, including: - Household Tasks – Light cleaning, keeping the kitchen tidy, and helping with laundry. - Personal Assistance – Bringing me food, water, and other necessities I can’t manage on my own. - Driving & Companionship – Taking...

We are improving this farm to make it a warm, creative, and open place for sharing.
