I live in the Hokianga over looking the water to Horeke. This is a 46 hectare dry stock farm with mostly young beef cattle but i also have a couple of milking goats, 6 Alpacas, pigs and two riding horses and have access to a pine forest for riding. We have 120 species of bamboo. fruit trees ducks chickens and two dogs and lots of friendly wildlife and many useful plants. we are a wholesale bamboo nursery and also make one off bamboo creations. We are a 10 min drive from Airlie beach in the Whitsundays with 72 islands to sail to. there are many ways a helper can help and learn about permaculture and bamboo. You will have your own room here with wifi and the food is fresh and healthy. We have self contained accommodation in the garden if you like. And if you love fishing we catch and cook seafood. During the day you can enjoy a walk in the fields or spend some time with the animals. You are really welcome to help in the farm, daily task vary everyday.
