We are a couple from Austria and we live since january 2014 in the middle of the Swedish nature together with around 25 Alaskan Huskies. Our farm is in the middle of now-where at the beginning of Swedish Lapland and you can expect a lot of nature, lakes, woods and a lot of wild animals like bears, lynx, moose, reindeers and many different kind of birds. You can help us with training and feeding the dogs, cleaning the kennels. In wintertime there is also help needed with snow shoveling. You should be able to speak English (B2) or German. You should also be able to work sometimes alone. There is plenty of spare time, to explore the nature and the surrounding. We mainly need a volunteer or two, to help out with the bar and the horses during the summer months. We are a family that have a bar and renting horses business. As i am currently living outside of Spain and is high season we do need extra hands. We do need help with small things in the bar, cleaning, garden, paint...also you can learn about horses, we got 10. Depends on the season and the weather the works you can do to help us can vary. We are retired couple living in the beautiful West Cork , right on the Wild Atlantic Way. The house is surrounded by green fields, and the Ilen river flows past its front. It is 3 km from Drimoleague where you find bars, bus stop, pharmacy, post office and supermarket. Therefore, a car is preferred. We can provide bicycles 🚲 . Or we can pick you up and drop you off at the bus stop(3km). Sometimes we go out together to explore nearby scenic spots or go to music bars.
