We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. We live in a large house set on a 1000sqm block lush with native trees, plants and wildlife. We have 20m of water frontage on Oxley Creek, the main tributary to the Brisbane River. It feels a world away from the City but we're only 10kms South-West of Brisbane CBD. Tom & Isa mostly work from home. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not really necessary, learn on the job! 😉👍.
