This summer we need help with general maintenance and simple carpentry. We have a large garden and are (almost) self-sufficient in vegetables and fruit. We have been growing produce for ourselves (with a small excess for sale outside our house) for the past 28 years. We have 4 laying chickens. Help needed clearing beds, a bit of digging sometimes, wedding etc, chopping wood, we also need help with general maintenance, carpentry. For 2025 we have a major digging job - removing a large amount of bamboo, This is heavy work and might suit a couple, or 2 men coming here together or just someone who wants to get stuck in!. We are located in the beautiful village of Abbotsbury, in West Dorset, southern England, with views of the sea (20 minutes walk away). Mary-Clare is a textile artist - see website link below - and Andrew is writer (and web designer). Mary-Clare also runs Antenatal and Parenting classes. We have home-educated twin boys (aged 31, now working in the film industry i...

Townsville is a tourist hub, with access to beach, mountains, reef, rainforest and bush. Cranbrook is a leafy suburb across the river from the university, close to Riverway (free freshwater swimming lagoon, with art gallery) and shops, and on the bus route. There are large trees around my house, and there is always gardening or raking to do. My mother lives in a house 3 minutes away, and I help her with her garden. Accommodation is a granny flat with a powder room attached. There is a fold out double couch, plus a single bed mattress if required. You will share the bathroom and kitchen - in exchange for gardening, maintenance, painting, cooking or housework. Must love dogs - my dogs like to oversee human pursuits like digging, weeding and walking. I can assist with transport to local hiking spots, beach, or parks, or can pick you up from train or bus station. Prefer helpers who are non-smokers with family-friendly values, and able to work unsupervised when I go out. Also, To...

This is a beautiful property - and requires some ongoing general property maintenance. Jobs including gardening - weeding, mowing, trimming, mulching and some painting. The choock shed needs a bit of attention, nothing to major, just general upkeep really. I`d be happy to have you here, no smoking (or smoking outside only) no drugs or alcohol. The property backs onto the beautiful Tarago River and has a variety of native bird life around. We are currently adding some new local plant life to the river block. For those wondering - there is plenty of space to park your RV and hook up to water and power! Longwarry North is in West Gippsland, its about 1hr 15 minutes from Melbourne CBD, about 1 hour from Philip Island and Wilsons Prom, at the foothills of the Strezlecki ranges and Mt Baw Baw. Some very beautiful country to explore around Gippsland. Your own vehicle is preferred.

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. Hello there, I am 40 years old and I have studied chiropractic in Wales for 4 years, I speak English, French and Italian, two years ago I got back in Sicily and I came into possession of this amazing place. The property is based in Sicily, on a promontory that faces the sea. It is an historical family house with an amazing view and a almost a tropical micro-climate. It is also possible to reach the beach by the stairs. In the first year I have used to work alone to renovate the place, and making a permaculture "EDEN" garden in a piece of family land close to home, until I discovered Helpx with which I speeded up and brought to completion several projects. We have built many, MANY synergic gardens, a green house for the winter, planted several new tropical fruit trees (mango, avocado, melarosa....) and perennials. I can accommodate 4 people in 2 apartments, that have a kitchen and bathroom facilities, I don't need help in working for the whole week, weekends are free for who will c...

About us and our home My name is Svitlana. I am originally from Ukraine, but have lived in Norway since 2002. I speak the language fluently and work from home, looking after everything here in Østre Toten: the garden, the house and all the practical side of running the place. I live with my 9-year-old son, who is a very active boy. He is a musician and loves football, skiing, and card games. We strive for a harmonious life and total autonomy. Our goal is self-sufficiency in everything: from growing our own food to independent water and electricity systems. This is a private household, not a company — just our home and the land around it, which we are slowly bringing back to life. Who we are looking for We are happy to welcome one or two helpers at a time, from spring through to late autumn. The minimum stay is 3 weeks, but it is best if you can stay a month or longer. We would be very glad if you wanted to come back to us in future seasons. What you will do Plant Care: Planting,...

WELCOME TO PARADISE GLENORCHY! We are a busy couple working full time and needing help with our property. Based in the spot chosen by the original settling family in the area, we have a really well established garden that needs taming and some quirky buildings that need some TLC. Looking for hardy gardeners, handy DIYers and folks who are keen to just generally get stuck in. We have a great retro caravan, sleep out, outdoor kitchen and bathroom set up that's screaming out for someone, two friends or a couple to bring it to life. At this stage we a only provide breakfast, but could do lunch in some situations. We have heaps of freezer space and suggest you stock up on a few dinners, and drinks in Queenstown before you get here as the local shops are a bit pricey. Spark phone signal is limited to the end of the drive, OneNz works just fine. - free internet available. We recommend helpers have there own wheels, as we're 5km outside of Glenorchy. There is however a bike you can use if ...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

We are looking for two helpers from now for a minimum of two weeks. The accommodation onsite is in our guesthouse area and fast internet is included in exchange for 2 hours of work per day, 6 days a week. This place is a former Monastery, which is now a farm and guesthouse on the Great Ocean Road. We have some lovely black alpacas, a big white fluffy dog and some gorgeous highland cattle. We can give you a very relaxing and spectacular place to live with amazing views of the ocean and surrounding landscape. Our property is between Lorne and Apollo Bay. Only 15 minutes along the Great Ocean Road to Apollo Bay. It is preferable to have your own car to get around in this area. The ocean and beach is across the road! We are looking for help with guest preparation and cleaning at our guesthouse, which sits in the middle of a farm. There may be other general grounds maintenance requirements like mowing the lawn from time to time. Check out our website for more photos and a drone vid...

Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bikes, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter at The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, we seriously need help with the massive task of @296: gardens to create & jungle to clear ! We are keen to host people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. When Debs & I started hosting in 2025 we moved to the sleepout making it possible to host helpers hopefully from different cultures in the house. T...

I am a single parent with 2 grown adults and a young lady in university. I run a small party decorating business and have a small general home and hardware store. The wedding business is very interesting and demanding, hence why I'm looking for help at home. Due to other duties that needs to be done in the shop For now, we are looking for someone to help keep garden clean and tidy, cut shrubs and hedges and some general domestics around the house The kind of person i am looking for must be very neat and clean as well as very reliable and respectful. Someone who is not lazy and is very good at keeping their environment tidy and happy to do some cooking, cleaning, ironing and gardening. Personal hygiene is of utmost importance in our home and must be adhered to. HI HELPERS!!! WELCOME TO JOHN`S FUN FACTORY!!! BULLETIN: I live in a beautiful isolated Tasmanian mountain valley surrounded by world heritage rain forest and some VERY TALL Trees!(but not as big as the Hinoki trees at AliShan in Taiwan!!) Most of my property is a nature reserve, but I have a 2 Hectare orchard, berry garden and vegetable garden which are all useless! The possums, wallabies and birds eat most of these (trees included!) so we live on ice cream and chocolate biscuits instead! Please come and help us eat the biscuits so I don`t get too fat! Oh, by the way, all the Wallabies are called "Skippy" and they don`t mind a bit of apple or banana occasionally. I have been a volunteer host for 18 years and I have had more than 1700(Yes!!!you read it correctly!) fabulous, lovely, wonderful volunteers stay with me. Many of them have come back for second, third…or even 10th visits!!!!! Work can be really diverse including tree planting, mowing grass, helping to install forest fire...

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

Hello travelers, I am the proud owner of a historic castle from the 15th century, situated in the middle of the countryside of Burgundy. If the building is habitable as it is, the gardens and grounds require substantial work that I can not carry out alone. The walls need to be stripped of their invasiveness ivy, dry stone walls of the paths are partially collapsed, trails are not passable overgrown, fruit plantations are to be undertaken, etc. ... Accommodation in the castle or in tents, bicycles available, wireless internet. If you have skills in wood or building you are more than welcome. The Next Operation of wood cutting and dry stone walls building is scheduled from 12 till 22 september 2026. We are relatively isolated 10km from shops and 40 minutes north of Dijon.

If you want to experience venue décors for occasions (then you are free to come to venues with me, but not mandatory) i am very flexible with time as some days can be quiet, during this time, you can tour the local areas of i...

We are a family living in the beautiful village of Herand in the middle of Hardanger. We live close to the fjord and have an accounting firm and a software company that we live off of + some rental of beds in the summer. We have a small greenhouse and a small farm where we have some vegetables. Summer is a busy time and we need 2-3 positive people to help us with different work. We live by the harbour, and have a small farm 2 km away. We have boats, kayaks, canoes and paddleboards. You can use a cabin in the mountains if you wish. The area is well suited for walking or cycling. Normal working hours are 4-5 hours per day.

Tena koe, nau mai, haramai ki Tokomaru Bay, a small, predominately Maori seaside community on the East Coast. We live on a four acre lifestyle block in the peaceful Kaiawha Valley about a two minute drive from the village and the beach. There is a 4 Square Supermarket, a cafe and a tavern in the village. We have a room with a queen bed in a sleep out, with helpers own separate lounge/kitchenette. Access to washing machine. The bathroom is inside the main house located a few metres away. Most of the work we require is gardening, landscaping, milking cow, feeding animals, preserving food, servicing our Bed and Breakfast (List 1 Historic Places building) firewood, weed eating, mowing and general maintenance. Jan is a teacher and does some casual relieving and Bill works from home developing Te Reo Maori learning resources for our local tribe and teaches Te Reo Maori one day a week. Both of us are involved in our community, at the marae and other activities. We think 'whanau' s...

Simplicity, sincerity. Olivier Bonjour voyageurs en quête de nature, d’histoire et d’authenticité. Je suis l’heureux propriétaire d’un château historique du XVème siècle, situé au milieu de la campagne de Bourgogne. ...
