We are a non profit organisation organising projects together with and on a biologic dynamic soft fruit farm to learn about a sustainable way of farming. The biologic dynamic small fruit farm is located in the middle of the Netherlands. There they grow different kinds of fruits: raspberries, blackberries, red currents and gooseberries. Willemien (the young owner of the farm) took over this farm from the farmer who started this farm January 2021 and hope to make the farm bloom again. We are on an 70 acre farm in North Pope County, Illinois and are virtually surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest. Having been on this farm for 13 years, we are still developing infrastructure and are continuing to plant in the orchard and various berries as well as establishing and expanding garden and crop areas. We are a GMO, herbicide and pesticide free farm in all of our outdoor areas. As we are far away from "modern agricultural" property, we feel that we should have no problems with cross pollination of our crops with GMO's or damage/exposure from/to ag chemicals. We have an organic fruit tree nursery, along with many other projects on our land: several fruit orchards, chickens and bees, growing our own vegetables and herbs and trying to be independent in many ways. We have a little house close to the city centre in Christchurch with a large raised bed vege garden and fruit trees. It's great but it's a lot of work, so we could use some help now and then! We live 10 minutes bike ride from the central city, 10 minutes drive from the beach, bus stop nearby.
