Im trying to realize my dream, devoted to permaculture and natural architecture on the 25 decare land we purchased in 2021, where there are pine forests and natural water resources, and where natural life is happily alive. My biggest dream is for my daughter and other children to grow up together in a healthy soil, poison-free tables, on a farm full of happy animals, in a community where our friends and guests contribute. We continue to take slow but beautiful steps on the path we set out with this dream, with the efforts of our friends and volunteers who contribute to us. I will be glad to see you among us I have camping tent, large tent, rv caravan, geodesic dome hause for our volunteers and guests to stay. You can also stay here with your own tents and caravans. We have a common area for shower and toilet. We can cook and eat our meals together during the day, and we will also respect your preferences. In your free time, you can walk in the forest and mountains, chill in the r...

Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

In warm October, I wrote: 'pick late summer fruit, preserve the bumper apple crop; dig potatoes, pick greens and pumpkins.' These are now stored; it's time, as days lengthen in Jan and Feb, to use this stored plenty, cooking together for our shared meals. Please, hardy people, come and help again! even for a week, or long weekend, of winter experience together. ** From now, mid January, great to have help, for two weeks of winter work, and again for second and third weeks in February.** Hardy helpers, for tree work - pruning, shredding for mulch. In November and early Dec, four volunteers, each deliberately aiming for hardiness, for an uncertain future, formed an extraordinary team, carrying morale through the darkening, very wet, weeks. Together we cleared ground and put up a low storage polytunnel, much needed for bikes and mowers. Together we siliconed repairs on polytunnel plastic cover, mulched growing areas with deep biomass. We sowed field beans, and plant...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) I live in Ennis, a lovely town that is the gateway to the scenic, nature-filled mid-west of Ireland. Ennis is the capital town of the region and lies approximately midway, an easy journey, between the cities of Limerick and Galway. The town's population is about 25,000 people. We are 30 minutes drive from the ocean and from so many beaches that are long and sandy. All nearby are the world-famous cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and the secret, much-less-known west of Clare which has some of the best scenery in the world, with the wild Atlantic Way, a hiker's, nature-lover's and photographer's dream. Where I live is 15-20 minutes walk to the centre of town. 9 years ago I got a lovely puppy. His name is Luca. Now he's quite mature and when I got him I started with having guests stay as a means of having someone to look after him when I'm at work. It's been a really good experience. I have used mostly workaway and have 30 reviews there so do check me out. You're probably wondering what yo...

Off-grid living, building and tourism. Form February it will be the projects again! There's plenty to do on the land, making this place even more beautiful than it already is. Tasks during the next months include: First we will be building 3 outside wood fired bath tubs on different spots. Then, Expanding the area for the donkeys. Creating a new water system for irrigation and grey water. Building building another shower and toilet block. There's some fencing work for a new vegetable garden and orchard and much more... The short periods that the weather is not favorable to be outside we'll be doing ton of finishing jobs inside. I am trying to vary the working days, so no one gets bored and to give you the chance of choosing which kind of work you prefer, so everyone feels comfortable with what he/she is doing. If you're looking to get some building or carpentry skills and you feel like committing yourself to a longer period I'm more than happy to transfer some of my skills...I l...

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

SUMMER - January 2026 AVAILABILITY We seek help from around 15 January for about two weeks. Helpers looking for a farm stay that is both peaceful and busy are encoraged to enquire.. LOCATION We are in Taranaki directly overlooking the Tasman Sea, a nearby beach with surf breaks to the southwest. Many travelers come here from Tongariro, Hobitton, or the Bay of Plenty on their way to Wellington and the South Island. SHORT DESCRIPTION, CURRENT PRIORITIES.

I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. I live in Ennis, a lovely town that is the gateway to the scenic, nature-filled mid-west of Ireland.
