Sorry folks, we are now fully booked until the beginning of April 2027. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, jewellery making, or take some self defence lessons we could be a great match. Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. This is a language cafe is designed for those who are willing to meet Korean locals and the ones from overseas. We provide them with the time and the place to meet and get to know each other while have conversations in English. I know from my experience that travelling or staying in other countries is not just doing sightseeing but experiencing the real life there. Here we try to bond them together as friends. If you are looking for something that can give you a chance to meet locals and to be mingled with them, this would be the best option for you. About the program : This is about the language practice and sharing their cultures, experiences and the thoughts. As long as you are an easygoing person to talk, open-minded and fluent in English, you can join us. As we are NOT looking for English teachers, it really doesn't matter which country you're from and you don't have to teach but have a conversation in English. And basically it is a 2 way conversation so you don't have to ta...

My wife and I own and operate a traditional bed-and-breakfast, and we are also small-scale farmers. Our property is 5 acres (2 hectares), and we grow a variety of fruits on our 100% organic farm. Starting October 1st, we will be looking for help on our farm with pruning, trimming, weeding, mowing, and weed-whacking. There is also light cleaning outside our home (raking leaves, rinsing snorkel equipment, sweeping, etc.). We also appreciate help with indoor cleaning projects. If you are handy and can build and repair things, that is a super plus and moves you to the front of the line 😊. We prefer couples, but we will consider a single person if they are industrious and hard-working. Summer is the peak growing season; it seems that every weed and blade of grass grows exponentially, so we are looking for helpers who will help us maintain our land. An absolute requirement is that I need help weed-whacking the farm because I can't do it all by myself; approximately 4 - 5 hours per week...

Hi. We joined HelpX in 2017 and have met so many gorgeous Travellers. This is a fantastic property to enjoy. Lots of animals, horses and 1 cat and 2 dogs,. we love our furry family and think you will too. There are several horses and we breed 2-3 foals most years. There is always time to hang out with the foals and take gorgeous photos in the wonderful evening light.. The garden is quite big but easy to work in. We have hedge trimmers, leaf blowers and a quad bike so the work isn't heavy. We try to grow and use our own food over the spring and summer. We do have a beautiful river next to us, the dog loves heading down for swimming on hot days.. this is a well known trout fishing river and usually produces something during the on season. And there are some great bush walks within a short drive locally. Waipawa is a 10 minute drive away with regular bus service. We are happy for visitors to work just the 4 hours or to do a double up and have a day off exploring Hawkes Bay. We enjoy ge...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . In summer I live in a gorgeous cottage right at the high water line in popular Mapua. If peace and tranquility is what you like, this is the place to be with restaurants and cafe's just around the corner. It is very close to the Abel Tasman National Park. In winter I live in my Nelson house, close to the town and on the bus line or cycleway. I am 74, love the arts and sing in a world-music choir. I am also a yuan-gong teacher. There are always jobs to be done that are too hard for me to do by myself. At the moment help with weeding would be very welcome, as well as planting an orange tree. A bit of cleaning would also be great. In return I can welcome you in my delightful abode. I am mostly carnivore, and therefore it's probably best if you organize your own meals. This means that I give you a wonderful room in my house in exchange for 2 hours of work. If this sounds like you, I'd love to meet you and send you on your way to get to know Nelson and surrounding area.

We are an intentional community-based Yoga retreat located in a beautiful natural bush setting on the edge of Sydney. We have included some general information below. If you have any questions please ask. What type of person are we looking for? We are looking for community-minded, hardworking people who are respectful and helpful to be part of our team. Hi everyone! We have a beautiful property a short walk/drive away from a gorgeous New Zealand beach. We live 45 minutes from Hamilton and 20-25 minutes from Raglan. Our area is very remote - we have some neighbours but there are no shops here or public transport, just farmland. So if you enjoy being away from cities and people then this is the place for you! Our property suits people who enjoy the outdoors and surfing, hiking, walking, animals, solitude. There is a beautiful mountain right by our house for hiking, great surfing and fishing in the area, and Raglan (a little over 20 minutes away) which is a vibrant and energetic little beach town with world famous surf. This exchange is for accommodation only. We have a cabin with a big bed and beautiful views of the farmland and mountain and sea. There is a kitchenette for you to keep and cook your own food. I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht. I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay. My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house ...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing, and energizing our own water though Ionisation. Water conservation is part of life for me. You can come to Maryborough via plane, bus or train. The Hervey Bay Airport is only 30min from my home. There are meanwhile several bus companies to choose from. If you use the train please book Maryborough town from the drop down menu. We - myself and student son - live in a terrace house next to the main park in Sydney, Australia. It is a two story house and I occupy the upstairs. The room that is available is on the ground floor with your own bathroom and access to the kitchen and garden (see photos). The house is very clean and your room is private with a double bed and some storage. I have a small dog who is quiet and wont bother you. We prefer you do not cook or consume animals in the house but can use the BBQ outside if you prefer. The house is one block from buses to the city (20 minutes), the beach (10 minutes) and a major shopping mall (Bondi) within walking distance. You can catch one bus to Central Railway and from there go to all areas of the city and the Blue Mountains. I work full-time - but mostly from home and happy to suggest paces to see and learn about Sydney and the surrounding mountains. You are welcome to eat with us in the evenings, and share food and cooking if suits you. There are some g...

Winter helpers wanted: Beautiful Nikau Valley Garden & Studio: Hi there helpers! We are a well-traveled couple in our sixties looking for help to maintain our one-acre property in peaceful Nikau Valley (near Paraparaumu). We are needing help at the moment with several outside jobs, like preparation for planting of native species and then planting them. I estimate around 50 in total. It's not huge job but with my knee replacement surgery not that long ago, it's difficult for me to kneel at the moment. Plus on a rainy day we have outside furniture that needs sanding and repainting in the garage and there's always more tasks once I start looking. It doesn't matter if you dont have the right experience, what matters more is a positive attitude and willing to give things a go. If you dont understand anything I will try my best to demonstrate and explain how things work. Vibe: We aim for a relaxed, friendly atmosphere mixed up with a good variety of tasks. Accommodation & Food Th...

We live on a 5 acre lifestyle block outside of Blenheim. We unschool 2 of our 4 children. We have dogs, a pig, and cats. Some of us are vegetarians and some carnivores. We unschool our kids, so perhaps familiarise yourself with this and see if it's a philosophy you might be open to. We had two WOOFERs who disapproved of this lifestyle, and it made life uncomfortable for everyone. We want this to be enjoyable for all parties ☺️My husband farms a large farm 20 minutes away and has blocks of land throughout Marlborough that he farms. We We live a two minute walk to the Wairau River where we often swim with our German Shepards and live on a lagoon that has walking tracks. We enjoy meeting and hosting people from around the world.

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure.

The bathroom is about 20 metres away from the cabin and it is a composting toilet with shower that does the job but is gravity-f...
