This is a home stay situated on a sugarcane farm 18km north of Proserpine. Not far from Airle Beach and Whitsundays. There are a variety of chores, I work in the sugar mill but also have a lot of work around my house and sheds. We’re renting a granny flat, and some times there is some cleaning work to be done. I have a young dog and chooks to take care of. If you are looking for some peace and quiet to get away, it will be a good choice. I would also be happy to show you around the area if time and weather permits, take you fishing, maybe catch some crabs and explain some of the wildlife in the area. There are lots of beautiful places to see here. We have hosted exchange students in the past and it has been very fulfilling, sharing different cultures. More photos on instagram at aqhinschen We enjoy the company and conversation and also sharing the cooking, I love sharing the kitchen while cooking. Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

Hey hey HelpX'ers! 😊 I'm Scotty, a 31-year-old Kiwi who has spent over five years travelling the world, visiting more than 60 countries and doing HelpX and working holidays in several of them. Those experiences were some of the highlights of my travels, so now it's my turn to return the favour and host! Our farm is a little slice of paradise. We're just 5 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from town, but tucked away enough to enjoy peace, quiet, beautiful sunsets, and some of the best starry skies you'll ever see. I'm hoping to welcome people who value kindness, respect, good conversation, and enjoying the simple things in life. My goal is to create an easy-going environment where work gets done, but having a great experience together is just as important. The work is a relaxed mix of farm, lifestyle, and general property jobs. We have cattle, sheep, chickens, our friendly cat Molly, gardens, an orchard, and there's always something different happening, so no two days are ever ...

This is a historic country homestead set in rural Central Hawke’s Bay, on Porangahau Road, surrounded by gardens, mature trees, open farmland, birdsong and big skies. Built in 1853 by the Ormond family, Wallingford is one of Hawke’s Bay’s oldest homesteads and has a wonderfully peaceful, tucked-away feeling — the sort of place where guests arrive down the driveway, exhale, and settle into country life. The homestead is run by Chris and Jeanette Stockdale, former Sydney restaurateurs who swapped city restaurant life for the joy of creating warm, generous hospitality in the country. Chris is an experienced chef with a deep love of seasonal, garden-led and locally sourced food, while Jeanette brings warmth, humour and genuine care to the front of house. Together, they create an experience that is relaxed, welcoming and full of heart. Our homestead has been described by one guest as “possibly the most welcoming place in the world,” which beautifully captures the spirit of the homestead. ...

Visit the Thames Coast on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula! Enjoy home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bikes, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter at The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops or hangout here and make art. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday, loving every second left ! However, we seriously need help with the massive task of 296: gardens to create & jungle to clear ! Experiment the French countryside in a modern house Hi Champagne travelers ! I’m a Valérie, 60 yo and I live by myself in a modern home in the countryside of the “Marne” 45min away from Reims and 10min away from Châlons-en-Champagne I have 2 adult daughters, one leaving in Sallanches in the french Alps and the other traveling and being a helper abroad, mainly in Canada ! I have a large plot of land around my house, a small orchard and a lot of shrubs and plants. I’ve rented my daughter’s room on airbnb for several years so I'm used to welcome people in my house but sometimes it’s hard to take care of the property by myself and that’s why I would be keen on welcoming from time to time some helpers ! I prioritize short stays of 2 weeks - mainly during march, april, october, november. Or cats/home keeping when I am traveling. You would stay on the first floor with your own room and bathroom and we share the rest of the house. There’s Wi-Fi and the television. You would be provided 3 me...

Summer openings for some of August Wow, exploring right outside our backdoor along side the Campbell River on Vancouver Island, is a beautiful place to experience Vancouver Island`s great outdoors this SUMMER with all the wild life right in our back yard :) Although we live on a one acre town lot, our back yard is situated on a cliff over looking an accessible beautiful heritage river, with a nature park setting of ferns, Douglas fir, maple and alder trees. You can often see deer, raccoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the river’s pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. As well, our neighborhood is the access point to many scenic nature hiking, walking and biking trails. The ocean photo was taken a couple of miles from my home and all other photos...

Hello. We are a small Llamas farm, located in the Pyrenees mountains. If you are looking for an original French experience, it could be the right place for you! Here in the high Pyrenees, near the Andorra & Spanish border, we offer you the possibility to live and work in a calm and isolated place, surrounded by high mountains and nothing but pure nature, and good meals "à la française" after our activities among our lamas (about 15 of them). We are a retired French couple, but we used to work and live in foreign countries and continents, which made us interested in people and cultures from all over the world. In the surroundings, there are beautiful places that we would be happy to make you discover, and if you want, we can trek together with Llamas... For your own, you get an entire and cosy apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 or 2 people, single or couple), and join us for generous meals, mostly with local products, that we like to share and appreciate together (so, no vegetarian requir...

Accommodation I may be in our rustic cabin in summer and in main house otherwise. Breakfast and lunch could be self-catered in your own cabin, food provided; and dinner usually served all together at the house. Plus, you may use canoes or kayaks `free of charge` to explore local rivers and lakes in local National and Provincial Parks. Also, lots of trails to hike, fishing, swimming, and sightseeing. This is a traditional family-owned farm which, after years of abandonment, is currently being re-imagined as a sustainable and environmentally-conscious community. Located just 3km from the beach, where the Pampa plain meets the rugged coastline of the Argentinian Atlantic. We are passionate about agriculture, surfing, music, travel, nature and the environment, who want to create a communal space where people from around the world can come to learn about sustainable living and ecological ideals; share delicious organic food from the gardens; surf; tell stories; share knowledge, ideas, culture and language; learn about farming, the environment, or just relax and enjoy the farm and surrounds. The project is in its early stages and we are looking for energetic and responsible individuals wanting to experience and contribute to rural life and communal living close to nature. We are looking for self-motivated individuals to help us out with daily tasks such as helping in the kitchen, kee...

Join Our Home in Walnut Creek: A Unique Opportunity for Connection and Support Hello! My name is Bruce, and I’m looking for a reliable, friendly person to assist me with everyday life while also forming a meaningful connection. Stay with us in South Fremantle! Hi! I’m Sherree, and this is Ziggy in the photos — my very friendly, slightly spoilt dog and unofficial Fremantle tour guide. 🐾 We live in South Fremantle, in a great little spot where you can walk to the beach, cafés, bars, galleries and pretty much everything else that makes Freo so much fun. If you’re looking for somewhere relaxed to stay, are happy being independent during the day, and don’t mind sharing the neighbourhood with a dog who thinks everyone has come specifically to meet her, you might fit in very well here! A little about us: I’ve loved travelling since my early 20s and have been lucky enough to travel extensively, with adventures across Europe, Asia and North America. I’ve spent over 20 years working in the WA mining industry — 17 of those years FIFO, followed by the last four in corporate mining in Perth. So if you’re a tradesperson, have a trade background, or are thinking about getting into mining as a Trades Assistant, I’m ha...

Hey hey HelpX'ers! 😊 I'm Scotty, a 31-year-old Kiwi who has spent over five years travelling the world, visiting more than 60 countries and doing HelpX and working holidays in several of them. I'm hoping to welcome people who value kindness, respect, good conversation, and enjoying the simple things in life. My goal is to create an easy-going environment where work gets done, but having a great experience together is just as important. Our homestead has been described by one guest as “possibly the most welcoming place in the world,” which beautifully captures the spirit of the homestead. ...

Kia ora, travellers! Now available 25th Sept to 4th Oct. Haere mai - welcome to my whare (home) in beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and insects. We built this eco-earth house using local clay from right under our feet.
