We are Isabelle (57) and Eric (60). Our charming 15th-century Prieuré (Priory) is located just 1.4 km from Goudargues, a lovely village in Southern France often called “the Little Venice” because of its pretty river running through the center. The Prieuré is surrounded by countryside, fields, and trees. A small river lies only 200 meters away — perfect for swimming or sunbathing in summer. There’s also a swimming pool, a patio, 9 rooms, a chapel, and lots of character. Helpers always enjoy the peace, the nature, and the chance to explore our beautiful region. I, Isabelle, manage the guesthouse and work mainly off-site, taking care of administration, bookings, and accounting. Eric lives at the Prieuré an...

Ciao tutti, We have a villa from the 1960s designed by a well-known Italian architect. It hadn't been lived in for many years and is now up and running as a rental. At the moment, we're looking for a couple or someone that can help us during June, July or August (which are our busiest months). Our villa is located in a small charming town near Lake Como. Our property has lake and mountain views on one side, and forest views on another. There are 3 floors, all of which have views of the lake, including the bottom floor which is a two bedroom apartment where the manager and helpxers live. The skills that we are looking for is someone who enjoys gardening, someone who knows how to clean whenever necessary or someone who can fix things that break. Most importantly, we appreciate someone that has a positive attitude, is hardworking and is willing to help whenever its needed! The manager of the villa is Luiggi, a Colombian/American 29yo who has been working with us for many years no...

Large traditional house in Southern Spain. 10,000 square feet of Cortijo. Three dogs, (one lab, one mastiff and one terrier). We mainly seek people with painting skills, gardening and landscaping abilities and sometimes, dog minders and cooks, too. We are located about 10 miles from Gibraltar, four miles from the sea. San Roque is a pleasant white village established by the Spanish natives of Gibraltar on leaving the colony after the Treaty of Utrecht. You can walk everywhere locally. The weather is temperate (10 to 35 degrees is the norm). We are foodies, omnivores and the evening meal is central to our hosting experience but we are happy to host vegans and accommodate their dietary needs. We find that self catering with ingredients purchased on request by us is often the better solution in some cases. We are 1 hour from Marbella, 20 minutes to Algeciras, 20 minutes to Gibraltar. You can easily travel to Morocco for the day via Tarifa. We have good mobile coverage, fibre opti...

We have space for someone to come from May 20th.😊 We live in a warm, modern home just a 10-minute walk from the heart of Cork city, right beside the beautiful Lough and only a couple of minutes from University College Cork (UCC). Our location is ideal for exploring both the city and the scenic countryside of County Cork. I’m a language teacher and would be happy to help you improve your English through conversation and daily life. We are a bilingual English- French family. Living in Ireland, the kids are far stronger at English so you will get to practice lots of English with us. Still, we'd love a native french speaker who would enjoy reading French books with our kids on occasion. We’re a friendly family with three children: a 10-year-old girl, a 5-year-old boy, and a 1-year-old boy. I’m passionate about health and always trying to encourage the kids to eat well. We enjoy baking, spending time outdoors and learning about new cultures. We also have a cat, but he’s very independe...

23/09/25 - I'm looking for someone to start as soon as possible for a week or more. The main jobs at the moment are weeding, planting, log cutting & painting. The weather right now is amazing so a great time to be out in the garden! I live in a 5 bedroom house (a work in progress) with a large garden & lovely views. My son & daughter (age 24 & 23) also live locally & occasionally visit to help out. We need someone to help with the weeding, landscaping and other gardening when the weather is fine & do some housework and DIY when it's not (especially painting and cleaning). In return you'll have your own room, TV and WiFi and be well fed as we love cooking and baking! You will need to be fit & strong, like hard work & preferably know the difference between a weed & a (wanted) plant. A good dash of common sense will also go a long way. Must be a non smoker & I am afraid that I cannot host vegans. Either a single person or a couple is welcome. Helping hours would be around 4-5 h...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in ...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

We are a small-scale, organic vegetable farm in Palmer, Alaska. We grow an array of beautiful produce which includes carrots, tomatoes, strawberries, zucchini, brussel sprouts, romanesco, broccoli, potatoes, rhubarb, onions, beets, and many more. All of the vegetables we sell at local farmers markets are grown by us and are free of pesticides, GMOs, and chemicals. We not only believe that people should feel connected to their food, but we also feel that it should be delicious, healthy, and accessible. Work on the farm varies by season. In the Spring we spend our time prepping the field, sewing seeds, growing transplants, cultivating those seeds in the field, weeding, and watering. As we move into summer and fall helpers will have the opportunity to harvest and sell the fruits and vegetables that have been growing the past few months at the local farmers’ markets.

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Animal Rescue and Sanctuary and Organic Vegan Farm in Central Costa Rica Hello everyone! What we do: We take care of animals, we grow organic food, we prepare and eat tasty vegan meals, we minimize our impact on the earth, and we enjoy the company of our Costa Rican friends and neighbors. We have run a volunteer program for over 18 years, and have had several hundred people come to work with us! Our farm is primarily an animal rescue, rehab and sanctuary. Our doors are open to animals in need. We currently have five rescue dogs, six goats, a pig, a horse, two cats, and two water buffalos. Some came off the streets, some were abandoned, others were injured and no longer wanted. We adopt out what we can, but most are retired and happy to live their lives on the farm. The 3.5 hectare property is covered with many tropical fruit trees, including water apple, mandarin orange, banana (many varieties), guayaba, guanabana, cas, caimito, lime, nance, coffee and araza. Depending on the se...

We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. Also 6 chicken, so we always have fresh eggs. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown edible garden. We're about to get ducks in addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We like to work with fun and laughter and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out. Be yourself and join the family... We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Please note that there's a minimum of 1 week stay, we do not like to be used as a pit...

Fabulous and warm homestay in central California, right in Sacramento, the capital of California. Only 75 miles to San Francisco (also accessible by bus and train), 1.5 hours to Lake Tahoe and 2 hours to Yosemite, just to name a few of the sight-seeing wonders of northern Cali! Reno, Carson City and Virginia City (a true wild west town) are just 2 hours away! We always look for energetic, responsible, caring and fun, and engaged folks to help with our home, doggie care, cooking, and shopping. Help with home and personal projects, housework, laundry, cooking and gardening. If you are handy and extremely organized, and/or great with technology, even better. A real advantage is knowing how to drive safely and having a valid driver's license. We need help with shuttling, errands, doggie care, cooking, gardening (spring-fall), car care, and completing home projects, etc. Work will vary from 5 hours/day 5-6 days a week. Help with daily living activities like cooking/prep, cleaning kitch...

We are waiting for you in Ortigueira, a beautiful village by the sea in La Coruña (Galicia), northwestern Spain. I am currently taking care of my elder mother, our three-apartment home, and a big garden. You will live with us and our two cats. It would be great to have help with the house, the garden, and my mom. I need help with my mom at the moment. A traveling nurse would be very welcome. Experience with painting walls, home repairs and gardening would be wonderful. We have an amazing beach only two kilometers away and a very sweet downtown within walking distance. There are amazing places to go hiking and wonderful beaches in the area that never get too crowded. I have been living in Spain since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. I worked as a journalist in the United States for more than two decades. My job as a journalist took me to many different countries across the world. I love traveling and meeting new people. You will feel welcome here. We eat mainly vegetarian and ...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

Hello, I live in the beautiful Charente region 16140, and am looking for help with all sorts of jobs, from feeding the donkeys and other animals to painting and helping in the garden 😊 I am slowly bringing this lovely old château back to life after being empty and abandoned for many years. I enjoy growing my own organic vegetables and looking after my animals. I recently planted an orchard and have lots of other projects I'd love your help with. In the past I've shared some wonderful times with helpers, many of whom remain friends and have visited several times. In return I offer a comfortable bedroom in the chateau with 3 meals a day, and cooked as much as possible with our fresh produce. I would like your help for 5 hours a day with weekends off. There is lots to explore like little villages and towns and the river. The coast is about an hour's drive away. The Charente river is at the bottom of the garden and there are some lovely walks right outside the door, there are also b...

In 2005, my husband Terje and I, became the proud owners of this place and we spent the next 15 years renovating the property. Today we offer short-term accommodation in this historical building. Guests come to visit from all over the world. They come to Odda and the Hardanger area to experience and explore our unique landscape with glaziers, fjords, mountains, waterfalls, valleys and lakes. Hiking to Trolltunga is undoubtedly the most popular of the tourist attractions offered here in Odda. Other less famous attractions are just as breath-taking. We are a family of seven, with four daughters and a foster son, but our three eldest daughters have recently moved out to work and study. We would be most grateful if you would like to come and live with us, and help us with the housekeeping; cleaning, change of bedlinen, reception work, payments, as well as maintenance, carpentry, painting, gardening, childcare, pet care, and other activities like going fishing and having fun. This is ideal for people who would enjoy the social and cultural buzz of the city within easy walking distance, while also being close to two charming harbour beaches and some great walks. It’s a good arrangement for you if you value your own private space whenever you want it, but also enjoy a stimulating environment. Our comfortable inner city 117year old Victorian villa is a two minute walk to Ponsonby Road. Accommodation is self-contained, and our HelpXers have invariably found it to be an ideal arrangement (see guest room photos). You have your own separate entrance, private garden balcony, one bed ( a generous double) , kitchenette with microwave, hot plate, toaster and small fridge, dining table/desk, laundry machine and ensuite bathroom/toilet. Free wi-fi (within reason!) Because we’re on an unusually wide section for a city house, we've developed the outdoor space into various "rooms", including a viewing platform in one of our higher trees (ideal for reading or dreami...

Most importantly, we appreciate someone that has a positive attitude, is hardworking and is willing to help whenever its needed!

Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots...

Cleaning rooms to our 5 star standard is the primary work. Limited gardening, yard work, helping around the B&B with all aspects of running a home-based business. Must be physically fit to do this. Crewing on our boat is optional if you like it - not everyone is comfortable being on the ocean. Here is what a typical summer day looks like: About 1/4 of our guests purchase breakfast. We are a family run home, perfect for the 1st time volunteer. Natural horsemanship is a real factor here if you want to learn more. Our mentors being Buck Brannaman, Steve Halfpenny and Ken Falkner. A safe environment for your 1st time away from home. You do not need any knowledge of horses but you do need to love dogs, they are a major part of the family and are constantly with us all 8 of them, dalmations, vizslas and 2 weimararners, and they do jump all over you. Constant appaloosas is a small holding where we breed and train horses for ourselves and occasionally others. We have help exchange programs running throughout the year for interested students of all ages. Vet students get a really good grounding here. What we expect from you, conduct yourself in an open and friendly manner, engage in all aspects of life on the farm and seize all opportunities with enthusiasm, avoid rude and disrespectful behaviour to people horses and dogs. Basically show respect to people and our home,...

Odda and H...

* January - April 2026. Bed and Breakfast - Bio/Organic Vineyard. Dave & Brandy (my dog). Vineyard & Small Bed & Breakfast with two (2) rooms for guests. * Help always needed also at the Swiss Tattoo Museum. Dave loves to cook and the BnB thrives on his cooking skills, website reviews and best of all word of mouth! Also known as "Dave Cuvee" to guests and social friends, creating quality, delicious meals with love and passion is my destination. Most helpers leave here with extra kg, I am not talking about extra carry luggage ;-) Brandy is a female Hungarian Vizsla born October 2013. She is in training to search for truffles in the local forests. Brandy is a middle size dog weighing ca. 19kg and is very active. She is very intelligent, playful and uber friendly to everyone she has contact with. Brandy is being trained and fed by Dave, but she requires walks and exercise when Dave is at work. You should be a very dog friendly person. Dave speaks fluent English and Swiss German (...

We're a little family who enjoy meeting new people for mutual sharing, growth and broadening perspectives. We prioritize community-building, learning and exchange and care for the earth. We'd love to have you join us for a little or a long time (once we've estabished a good fit). We live in rural Nova Scotia near the beautiful Bay of Fundy. We love nature and a wide range of outdoor activities. We garden, camp, bike, swim in the Bay (brrrrr) and love to share fresh local food foraged and grown on the land. Common needs for us include: gardening support, home repairs/basic maintenance, playing, house cleaning, cooking, child play, pet care, community projects, etc. If you're willing to pitch-in in a variety of big and small ways, and are fun loving and kind we are keen to hear from you. EDIT: We are looking specifically for someone for May 27 - June 6... please reach out as soon as possible if interested During most of the year the work includes typical farm and household tasks like animal care, gardening, grass trimming, canning/preserving, house sitting if we are away, cleaning of coops, tractor work and/or some building project help. The Halloween event is different - full days which include trailer loading/unloading, construction, using power tools, painting, costume/makeup work, decorating, animatronic setup, and helping to deliver the food and funds collected to the foodbank after the event is over. We've never had a Helpxer regret the experience and all have said they want to come back and do it again one day because it was such an awesome experience! Ideal for enthusiastic and creative people who want to work in a big team environment with laughter, jokes, productivity and a sense of accomplishment for a job well done. A love of Halloween and horror movies is...
