Welcome to Our South African-Kiwi Homestead in Wainui, Auckland! We’re a homeschooling family of four who immigrated from South Africa in 2008 and now live on a peaceful 2-hectare lifestyle block just outside Auckland, shared with grandparents, friendly sheep, curious chickens, and a whole lot of love. Our days are grounded in nature—growing vegetables, herbs, and flowers, caring for our animals, learning alongside our children, and working on creative projects that reflect our passion for slow, meaningful living. We’re currently looking for help with: - General lifestyle block maintenance (gardening, animal care, fencing, odd jobs) What You’ll Experience as part of our family: A rich cultural blend – Experience life in a warm South African-Kiwi household. We love sharing traditional South African dishes, classic Kiwi favourites, and stories from both worlds. Hobby farm living – Help feed the animals, dig in the garden, and witness the changing seasons up close. Nature-based ho...

Hi Everyone, we are a small farm with a seasonal restaurant and beautiful gardens only 40 minutes from Hobart, and operate for only 3 days a week. A good plan for us is to help us about 24 hours over 4 or 5 days and use your spare days to explore our region, which is truly amazing, I will help with transport when possible. Your Help can be in the restaurant, maybe some light chores in the garden or around the main house, things we can work out! I like to cook seafood and meat dishes, and whatever produce can sourced from the garden. Thanks for reading. I wish you well for your travels and HelpX experiences. Cheers, Mike.

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room has a double bed attached to the house with a private entrance. Applications for COUPLES or TWO people are open now. Opportunities for summer vineyard and winemaking work are available now, starting in January 2026. Couples with Visitor visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is...

You can sleep in your own room in the house or Tiny House on wheels depending? Lindy also lives on the property and helps care for the flora and fauna. She also likes meeting new people and sharing in life's wisdoms. Nice big deck to hang out on. With small friendly dog, Percy the Possum, Wesley the Water Dragon, Larry the Lizard and Bobi, Hopi and Popi the wallabies when they feel social. We would like help around the garden and 5 acre bush property. Vegetable growing, Bamboo clearing, general bush clean-up, damn canoeing to tidy up, bridge repair, etc. Help and learn with Tiny House building if that is a project you are interested in and have one? Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish; fruit/veg etc. Swim at the beach across the road, go fishing or take out the kayaks (experience and wearher dependent). Take the bike and pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri. Do an overnighter to The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into the vast iconic view and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, as we move into the dotage we need help with the massive task of #296, so we are keen to have people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. We also enjoy welcoming solo travellers from anywhere, any age, who may not have a car. Your help will help me realize a ten-year plan. 1. To create gardens...

This Spring we will have a separate small, clean, warm, comfortable space available. We move irrigation pipe to water the hay fields in the morning and evening. We have horses that are needing training/riding and have a large garden that needs tending. We are a busy family of 6, with 3 adult children and a 7 year old child. We live 25 minutes away from the town of Williams lake and there is someone in the family driving in and out daily. The Cariboo Chilcotin is a culturally rich area with 17 different Native Bands in the area. The main industry here is logging with two mines in the area as well. Ranching, and outdoor activities like dirtbiking sledding, quadding and mountain biking are very popular here. Our back yard is one of the favourite areas for down hill mountain biking. We're fairly easy going and like having the opportunity to make new friends and share the experiences our ranch offers.

**as of 16th Feb looking for a helper, immediate start for 2-3 week stay** Your time here counts towards the 88 days working visa requirements as we are in a declared natural disaster region. We are a family in rural Australia who have helpers (only 1 helper at any one time) stay with us from time to time. Our experience has been that shorter stays of 2-3 weeks work best for our situation. We live on a beautiful property on the Nymboida River, a 15 minute drive from the town of Dorrigo and 40 minutes drive from Bellingen. We offer a luxurious, self contained cottage which is adjacent to our house but is also privately positioned. We have young children and enjoy meeting new people. We have a great swimming hole on the river (that we share with platypus and other creatures) and there are kayaks to use. Our wood fired sauna is a great way to end the day :) Our property is teeming with wildlife and 7 riverside hectares are set aside as a conservation area in conjunction with the NSW...

We live on the Whangaroa Harbour, half an hour north of Kerikeri. There`s no road to our property. We come and go by boat. We can pick you up from Kaeo or Kerikeri and bring you home, or if you're driving, we will meet you at Ota Point on the harbour. We have kayaks to explore the harbour or to fish from. The fishing is some of the best in New Zealand. Our home is at the water’s edge nestled above the mangroves. The work is mostly gardening and a little housework. Carpenters/builders/people handy with tools are especially needed but all are welcome. Guests are asked to work four hours one day and then three hours the next day and cook an evening meal (we provide ingredients). We relish dishes from elsewhere. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements or serious dislikes. We have internet access available. A week to begin with is ideal. Longer stays often happen from there. We host because we enjoy making friends and the work becomes easier and more p...

We have an automotive country workshop where we fix and service cars, 4WDs, trailers, tractors and all sorts of machinery. In our spare time we look after our little farm, some sheep, some cattle and rabbits. We also have a forest where we work and tidy up occasionally. So we are always in need of a couple of helpful hands to support us. We love to get to know different cultures and people. We grow our own meat, fruit and vegetables. Gustav also brews his own beer and makes wine and cider and lately also green tea. A mature, non-smoking, self-organized person, preferable not a vegetarian, to give us a hand with house and land, would fit best into our lifestyle. You will have to join into our daily routines: breakfast is at around 7am and then we feed all the animals, especially the hungry dogs and work starts at 8am. We need to get everyone organized before customers arrive in the workshop. We expect about 4 hours work per day and we offer a nice room with a lovely warm bed, gr...

Namaste! Welcome to our farm and family. We are established as small organic farmers with our parents since 1995, working with Himalayan Permaculture Center based in Surkhet (western part of Nepal). We are a permaculture family with two generation, three of us have our PDC but we are all invested in our land. We are five and three of us speak quite good English but our parent English is simpler, so you will learn some Nepali! If you want to discover the traditional Nepali lifestyle and learn about culture and festival in the Katmandu valley, and also in the same time learn and share your knowledge about permaculture, you are at the good place! Only fifteen minutes by taxi from Thamel (you can also come by bus). You are more than welcome in this nice place that looks like a village. On our land, we grow many different classic vegetables (Tomato, cucumber, peas, potato, onion, garlic…) and we also grow some cereals (wheat, rice…) using Fukuoka system(No Tilling Farming) and System of R...

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

Welcome to our peaceful goat farm and homestead in the beautiful Central Coast of California! We're a semi-retired couple with 20+ years of experience living off the land. Our 6-acre farm is home to dairy goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, turkeys, bees, and gardens. We do everything from milking goats and making cheese to processing lamb and poultry, fermenting vegetables, baking sourdough, and even teaching quilting and rug weaving. We host ONE helper at a time to provide a personal and immersive experience. You’ll stay in a cozy, private trailer next to the house and share the guest bathroom. We cook and eat three healthy, mostly organic meals together every day using food we raise or organically source. Our lifestyle is omnivorous, mostly gluten free and we do not host vegans, vegetarians, or dairy-free guests—you’d miss out on too much! We ask for help with daily chores like milking, feeding, cleaning pens, gardening, and kitchen work. Afternoons are usually free, and in your downtim...

Hello everyone. Thanks for your interest. I am now looking particularly for HelpX people with some specialised practical skills. People who can stay at least a week would be great. If you’re interested please reply telling me a bit about yourself and your interests, skill sets and abilities. I look forward to hearing from you. Haumoana is a small, very artsy and alternative, semi rural seaside village. There are two surfing spots very close by. Yoga and pilates classes and great coffee shops 5 minutes away as well as a well provisioned grocery store near by. Miles of bike tracks, mostly off-road mean you can ride to the two larger towns Napier and Hastings on bikes I provide. If you don’t have your own transport you should be aware Haumoana does not have any public transportation and you will need to bike wherever you wish to go though sometimes I can offer to take you somewhere. You will be glamping in a tiny gorgeous cabin perched above a lagoon next to the beach with your own ...

Hi ! Great HelpX - you get the house mostly to yourself or sharing with other helpers. Currently we have 2 French helpers 33 (male) and 36 (female) traveling separately. Another French couple might be coming this week. We have availability coming up but you need a car as the property is on Bruny Island 90 minutes from Hobart - ideal for couples or friends that are practical. Easy jobs. BRUNY ISLAND has BEACHES, FORESTS, BIRDS, NATURE, BONFIRE 🔥 and or course BBQ ! We are located at Adventure Bay on the South of the island so you need to catch a ferry. 3-4 hours work per day. Food & accommodation provided. Also Star-link WIFI It’s our holiday house. The ferries depart every 30 minutes from Kettering. We live & work in Hobart so we usually stay at our house in Hobart mid week Monday-Friday so that means you will be staying at the Bruny Island house alone or with the other helpers. Currently there’s none. Ideally this would suit friends or a couple. If you have any special sk...

Welcome! Your choice: You can exchange two hours help a day for the room only, or you can work for 4 hours a day and we provide meals. We have a private spot close to town here, and are two friendly people, a little dog, and some chickens. Our quiet and green home is in easy and pleasant walking distance of Nelson city centre. It's like being in the country. There is also a bus just steps away, if you want to get into town quickly. This is a good mix - looking after trees, garden, house and each other; making music; preserving fruit, etc We - meaning us two, Ian and Eva - love WWOOFers who enjoy what we are doing, and want to be friendly and part of the family. Eva is a Homoeopath, Ian is an Engineer, we both love to sing, eat, and share good food, and have fun with friendly woofers. The house is surrounded by green hills, with some of Nelson's best bike tracks and walks right next to us. We love cooking and sharing meals. We can talk with you in English, French or German No Smo...

Seven years ago, Tim and I moved to our little farm, and we've been busy ever since; growing a garden, planting trees, and learning how to care for the land. We joined Landcare to better understand the local trees and wildlife, especially the ones that need a bit of extra protection. Tim is a retired engineer and has a knack for designing and building, so he’s been having a great time working on the infrastructure around the property. As for me, I’m a creative arts teacher and public health practitioner. I still teach both online and on campus at an Australian university, balancing my work with farm life. One of my biggest passions here is my rose garden with 400 fragrant bushes, and I'm dreaming of making rose water and rose oil one day. We’ve also got a thriving organic fruit and veggie garden, with plenty of fruit trees and a mix of seasonal vegetables. Our dam is well stocked with yabbies, and we’re just a short stroll from the Murray River, perfect for a bit of fishing. I lo...

My 21-year-old son and I live on a lifestyle block situated 30 minutes by road from Picton next to the sea. We have a dog, chickens, and sheep. We love having people come and stay and enjoy good healthy food. I love playing board games if helpers enjoy it too. A dinghy, sit-on kayak, and fishing gear are available for you to use. We are close to the start of the Queen Charlotte Walkway and The Link Pathway goes right past our place. Accommodation is in a comfortable private sleepout close to the house however, our house is open to you for everything else. Work would possibly involve building, lawn mowing, wood stacking, tree/ hedge pruning, water blasting/cleaning, painting, or fencing. We try to tailor the work to suit the helper's skills. Helpers need to be able to work independently of us and we would expect you not to work longer than 4 hours per day, and leave it up to you to time it. Help with dishes etc is always gratefully accepted. I enjoy talking with you and findin...

Looking for a helper. We've lived on this farm since 2008. We have a large garden and a vegetable patch with a greenhouse. In the summer, we usually need help in our (vegetable) garden. We also often need help renovating things in and around the house. The work usually consists of gardening and cleaning, depending on the weather and the project we're working on. The gardening work mainly consists of weeding, planting, and cleaning. Some rooms in the house still need renovation, and the work can include all sorts of small jobs, such as carpentry and painting. Working hours are 4 to 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. If possible, we can take you to a bus stop or a nearby town on your days off. We live in a small, typical Frisian village with about 900 inhabitants. The nearest shops and swimming pool/gym are 2 km from our house. We have a bicycle available for cycling in the area or to go to the bus stop or supermarket. The village area is ideal for walking and cycling (there are countles...

HELPX wanted. We live in a lovely bay in the Bay of Island with a beautiful beach and lovely rocks and rock pools. We have 2 sea kayaks, 2 SUP's and a dingy for you to use. There will be plenty of time to go fishing, swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, and there is also a great bush walk around the bay, which starts next to our house (we are 15km out of Kerikeri so not much nightlife (except real kiwi's) or other entertainment. If you go out for a walk in the evening you most likely can find some real kiwi's near the house. Hi, my husband and I live in a beautiful area on a lifestyle farm with our four young kids. We are working on setting up a sustainable lifestyle and there's always something to do! We have beef cows, a milk cow, sheep, goats, chickens, a couple dogs and a producing greenhouse. Would love some help with homesteading, ongoing projects, property maintenance, gardening, and help around the house. If you like your exercise there's a walking track to the top of our property with stunning views at the top. Swimming hole at a beautiful river 5 minutes down the road. Accommodation provided in our family home. You will have your own upstairs sleeping area and a separate toilet. Three healthy meals provided for 4 hours work. We look forward to meeting you!

And 7 free range hens, who lay fresh eggs when they please. helpers sleep in queen bed in a rumpus style room or in private room have either their private bathroom or share this with our flatmate downstairs. expected work 4-5 hours a day plus help with cleaning up after dinner; please provide own drinks and snacks.

We run a small accommodation business consisting of 10 safari style tents and we raise Highland cattle, miniature donkeys, sheep, chickens and 3 horses. The tasks are done in the morning leaving the afternoons free to enjoy the beautiful region that we live in. In return we offer meals, accommodation in our share house on our property.
