We live in a nature sanctuary on Corfu island in Greece. we are a COMMUNITY of PLANTS, ANIMALS AND HUMAN BEINGS, who try to live together IN THE SPIRIT OF NATURE. we are organized similar to a zen monastery. yet we are not affiliated to any religious body, but to the holy body of our mother earth. the earth takes care of us. the earth gives to us what we need. she gives us and she for-gives us – she never asks for money… we admire the communities in nature (ecosystems), where all members balance their needs and gifts in a healthy way, without money, without machines and without chemicals. here in NATURE’S SANCTUARY we try to live in harmony with nature. we try to support and protect all our nature brothers and sisters, who share this sanctuary with us… it is a CHALLENGE TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE. it is a challenge to protect and support all nature beings in a way, that they have the chance to live in their own natural born communities. we are looking for people, who want to take...

Kia Ora. I run an Angora goat farm just outside Oxford in North Canterbury. I have 180 very cute goats which I shear for fibre twice per year. I also farm sheep and cattle. I farm in a sustainable way and have been trialling some regenerative agricultural practices. I am looking for helpers starting now until 7th August 2026 . Jobs include farm work, gardening, housekeeping, servicing and cleaning my AirBnB and learning about our farming systems. You would have your own room and receive all your food in return for 4-5 hours work per day. Those are the typical Helpx conditions. There are usually other Helpxers at the farm and we work, eat and live as a family , sharing housework and cooking tasks. I look forward to welcoming you to the farm!

You do not need any knowledge of horses but you do need to love dogs, they are a major part of the family and are constantly with us all 8 of them, dalmations, vizslas and 2 weimararners, and they do jump all over you. Constant appaloosas is a small holding where we breed and train horses for ourselves and occasionally others. What we expect from you, conduct yourself in an open and friendly manner, engage in all aspects of life on the farm and seize all opportunities with enthusiasm, avoid rude and disrespectful behaviour to people horses and dogs. For an experience in a farm with horses and dogs, if you love nature and are not afraid of hard work! Here you’ll find silence and peace, and also many splendid places to visit. [UPDATE: We don’t have availability for a position in horse care only. But we have availability for a strong person, hard worker, to help outside with the bush clearing, using the brushcutter, driving the tractor to grind the fields, apart from helping a bit with the animals and the handling of horses. Note that we are very busy during the week, and we can't go and check our emails every day. You might have to wait a bit for an answer. Sorry for this.] We live in a sparsely populated area called Berry located in the center of France between Orléans (60km) and Bourges (50km). The closest city is Gien, 27km away. Just west is the county called Sologne, where nature is all around, though we are at only 2 hours from Paris. East is the Sancerre valley. We are looking for handy volunteers or good riders. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have a basic but lovely country home located by the Rangitikei River. We are about 25 minutes from the nearest shop in Hunterville as well as our local pub which is located about 10 minutes away. My husband and I have a 3 year old son Joseph and a 1 year old baby Makayla. We do our best to live off the meat that we hunt and the vegetables we grow. I'm looking for someone to help out with our veggie garden and with general work around the house or with projects that I might be doing at the time of your stay. Our wood shed is currently in need of some repairs so if you are someone that is interested or has experience in building or repairs then you would be a great fit however if this job wouldn't suit you then there's plenty of other chores to do. You'd be looking at around 4 hours of help per day in exchange for food and accommodation. We live on my husband's parents Deer, Sheep and Beef farm. We have 2 pet dogs and a few working dogs as well as some very friendly pet sheep. Che...

Hello! We are Andrew and Gail We are a British couple who made the move to France many years ago in search of a different way of life. What began as an adventure renovating old buildings by ourselves has grown into a life we love in the beautiful Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park, one of France's best-kept secrets. Before settling here, we spent years traveling, volunteering, and exploring different cultures. We spent extensive time on the road traveling by motorcycle, volunteering on community projects, and meeting wonderful people along the way. Those experiences taught us how rewarding cultural exchange can be, and they continue to shape the way we welcome helpers today. For more than twenty years we have been exploring and falling in love with this remarkable region. We now run three holiday homes in and around the village of Le Monestier, welcoming guests who come here to enjoy nature, walking, cycling, photography, local culture, and the simple pleasure of being surrounded ...

We are a French/Australian artist couple, living 8 months of the year in France, in our two-storey stone Provencal “mas”. Navacelles is a small village in the South of France, an hour's drive North of Nimes and an hour's West of Avignon and only 30 minutes from the famous medieval town of Uzes. Our “mas” has been undergoing massive renovations after having been abandoned for 19 years. After 7 years tof intensive renovation, we have completed 90% of it as well as the landscaping and it is now looking stunning and is very comfortable. We are now planning the last stage of the renovation process. The structural work (new roof and new slab poured on part of the upper floor will be done by a builder this winter. However, comes April 27, we will take over and finish all the interior. We are both visual artists with many years of renovation experience and are looking for help with both the garden maintenance and the building renovation. So experience and skills in these areas would be welc...

***************************************************************************Scammers do NOT contact me************************************************************************************************* Hello fellow HelpXer's, I'm Ant, Thank you for viewing my listing. I can welcome mature non smokers, from age 30 onwards. I live a few miles outside Ennniscorthy town, Co.Wexford and there I keep bees as a hobby. My place is a house on some land. It is not a farm or business. Therefore I cannot host any internship students who request to stay for several months. If you like to be outdoors, this is the best time of year. I can host 1 person for maximum 2 weeks at the moment, as my employment schedule allows. During my time off work, I am restoring a camper which it is taking all of my free time. So I particularly welcome anyone who loves to cook! Stopping work outdoors, during our very short, non-raining weather season in order to make meals seems to have become a major inconvenience ;-...

Temporary suspension of aid applications. Thank you for your understanding. Hi, my name is Claire, I'm 49 and I live in a charming hamlet in the Dordogne countryside. I have an orchard, a small henhouse with three chickens, and a small vegetable patch. I have two children (14 and 21) but they may not be present during your stay. We have two cats. The setting is very pleasant, very green and touristy, with many places to visit: castles, swimming spots, farmers' markets, forest walks... After an unsuccessful project, I'm in need of help to clear, sort, tidy and maintain the house and grounds. I'm a handywoman with an ecological bent, and can pass on a few skills: sewing, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, drawing, recipes for eco-friendly household products, etc. There is Wi-Fi in the house for communication. The train station is a 20-minute drive away. There is no transport, so I'll be your “cab” if you don't have a car. I can lend bicycles. I'd be delighted to share and exchange, as I ...

We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. If you have something you are passionate about and want to share with others, we would love for you to run a workshop. One of the best things here is the variety of tasks you can do as a volunteer, which gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and discover what you enjoy doing most. We have a combination of short-term and long-term volunteers and on average we have between 10 to 20 volunteers and resident...

This is a certified organic macadamia nut orchard situated on 10ha in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park. We can pick helpers up from Swanson train station, which is 6km away. Having your own transport would enable you to explore the beautiful west coast beaches. Bethells Beach/Te Henga is 10km further down the road. Helpers activities are seasonal, and may include harvesting macadamia nuts in winter; processing the nuts; shelter belt maintenance; firewood splitting; weed grubbing and minimal gardening. We work alongside helpers and show you what to do. Please be aware that orchard work is physical, you will get dirty and there could be a few bugs! We request an average of 4 hours help per night stayed in return for food and accommodation. So that is 28 hours per week. However we aim to have a day off each week by working 2 x 6 hour days, or an 8 hour day. We can usually be flexible and also consider our helper's wishes. Work starts at 9am. We have a separate co...

Hi, I'm Steve, I am a retired old fart at 65 and live alone, except for regular travelers I host. I live close the Strand (Beach) in Townsville in a 2 bedroom unit. I can offer you a king size bed in your own room. I used to be an active couchsurfing host but have given that away as i don't like the changes they have made to the way they operate now, nor the quality of surfers. I'm pretty open minded and I don't judge people. There is no work required here, just help keep the place clean and tidy. I prefer to share the evening meals as though it is your own home. I don't operate my home as a hostel and I am used to having people in my home, and it's a fairly relaxed environment. Basically I would just like you to come into my home and be a part of it and don't shit on the floor. The last few Helpers have become flatmates after a couple of weeks. The current helper has been here for 6 months and starts travelling very soon. The one before her was here 2 years. I am looking for a suita...

My name is Victor and I have been teaching English to young people from my community for 8 years. I have a small school in downtown Tehuantepec near the market, banks, restaurants, and the tropical forest full of coconuts, bananas, and mangoes. Tehuantepec is located 20 minutes from the ocean beach community, Salina Cruz. I am located only a five minutes taxi ride from the local bus station. I am looking for one person at a time to come and work with my students, which includes conversing with my students and teaching if you are able to. My students need more practice talking to people who speak fluent and clear english. I ask for five or six hours a day working with my students and in return I offer a place for you to sleep and one meal a day and a tour around the city to show you my local culture. You can stay for a minimum one week and a maximum of two weeks, but we can make a deal if it works out and you want to stay longer I have lived here all my life and can introduce you...
