Visit the Thames Coast on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula! Enjoy home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bikes, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter at The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops or hangout here and make art. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday, loving every second left ! However, we seriously need help with the massive task of 296: gardens to create & jungle to clear ! We are keen to host people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. When Debs & I started hosting in 2025 we moved to the sleepout making it possible to host he...

=============== Update Sept 15. 2026. We are likely full until Nov 15. =============== Spaces that may be available are: a small loft room that is accessible by a short ladder, or a loft bed above our yoga room. And sometimes other bedrooms when people go away. Top skills we are looking for right now: - Cooking/cleaning - indoor plants and sprouts. - Help with renovation projects (finishing a basement bathroom.) Note: We don't always book people many months in advance, we prefer to wait until closer to the start dates so we can see how much space we have. Some people here stay longer than they initially planned so we don't always know the timing of openings long in advance. If you would like to help, please let us know your range of availability and preferred length of stay. We are an 11-person vegetarian community house in Toronto. My name is Steve and living here is also Jeff (from Hong Kong), Luke (from Canada/Africa), Swetha and her brother Shreyas (from India), Kamilla (...

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

We are a family of four (becoming five as we are expecting a baby in early October!) who live on a beautiful homestead in northern British Columbia, Canada. We have two daughters, aged 8 and 10, who are homeschooled and are with us every other week. We also have dogs, chickens, ducks, a horse (who currently lives nearby but off the property) and a large organic vegetable & fruit garden. Our property borders Ross Lake provincial park, and the lake is a five minute walk/bike ride down the road, where we can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing and trail networks. We are only five minutes’ drive from the town and amenities of New Hazelton, which is rich with Gitxsan Indigenous culture and pioneer history. We are seeking help with childcare (spending time with our two older children), farm/garden tasks, and/or building projects during the months of September and October. We are just too busy welcoming our new baby, trying to harvest our food from this summer’s garden, and renovating the house...

Hi everyone! We have a beautiful property a short walk/drive away from a gorgeous New Zealand beach. We live 45 minutes from Hamilton and 20-25 minutes from Raglan. Our area is very remote - we have some neighbours but there are no shops here or public transport, just farmland. So if you enjoy being away from cities and people then this is the place for you! Our property suits people who enjoy the outdoors and surfing, hiking, walking, animals, solitude. There is a beautiful mountain right by our house for hiking, great surfing and fishing in the area, and Raglan (a little over 20 minutes away) which is a vibrant and energetic little beach town with world famous surf. This exchange is for accommodation only. We have a cabin with a big bed and beautiful views of the farmland and mountain and sea. There is a kitchenette for you to keep and cook your own food. The bathroom is about 20 metres away from the cabin and it is a composting toilet with shower that does the job but is gravity-f...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

Originally from France and Germany, we are living in Canada since 1990 where we raised our 4 children who are now adults living their lives :) We moved to this marvelous region in September 2025 and just bought an old heritage house which was abandoned since over 20 years! We don't live in the house yet (living in a tiny house on a farm 1km from there), but plan to move in for the winter. The bathroom is already ready to use, but the bedrooms and the kitchen aren’t ready yet. So, for right now, we are looking for helpers willing to camp (pitch a tent in our yard or sleeping in your van or camping inside the house 😉). The spot is a little bit outside of the scenic village of St-Germain, with view on the St-Lawrence River and 3km from the beach. We definitively need help with the restoration work: helping Michel on the roof with traditional roofing techniques, helping Hildegund inside with painting, sanding and oiling the floors,... or even outside preparing the garden and orchard. M...

October is available From October onwards we are open to either short or longer stay requests. We could have a trial week or fortnight before committing to a long stay. Also we would like to arrange help for next year MARCH and April, this would involve strimming (rechargeable, metal blade Stihl, with mask etc) and for an experienced strimmer we could add some paid hours on top of the full board and bedroom. PLEASE no supporters of mass starvation and military actions against civilians... No climate change deniers ... We definitely would not get on!!! (to be clear it is not that we require long or even ANY conversations on these topics, it is that it would be against our principles to be gaining any kind of advantage by hosting people who were so strongly misaligned with our ethics). Please note a cat and a dog here, so not suitable for allergies to dog and cat. A minimum stay of 2 weeks please. We really need a 2 week stay having people come and go is tiring... and it does t...

Spring is upon us & it is wonderful to see the plants “spring” into growth! BUT so are the weeds. 🫩 so we need help to weed & mulch, prune and plant. After our trip to Alice Springs to attend the Australian Native Plants biennial national conference we are enthused to improve our garden diversity. Please contact us if you want to experience our garden and hospitality like so many HelpX helpers have over the last few years. ENJOY THE FREEDOM & BEAUTY OF SOUTH GIPPSLAND. Property is a botanic garden of Australian native plants, many rare or endangered, plus an acre of plants for cut flowers, mainly proteas, banksias and tea trees. Lots of wildlife. We need help with weeding, mowing, mulching, planting and general clean up as the property is too big for the two of us to maintain. Accommodation is very comfortable, private, with fully set up kitchen in a studio style cottage with a queen size bed and smart TV. Recently installed a new electric oven with airfry function. Has split system h...

URGENT! Need a volunteer for 20th September until October 4th! Availability for December and then February onwards. Need a valid international driving permit. The volunteers have use of an automatic car. * * * * My husband and I are Buddhist priests, running a 450 year old Pure Land Buddhist temple in the mountains of Kyushu. My husband is the 17th generation priest of our family temple. We are busy with the temple and our family and need help with gardening, cleaning, cooking, laundry and lots lots more. We have a luxury Lodge for overnight stays and need help with bed making and cleaning. We also want the helper to walk our Labrador dog, who is big, very enthusiastic but is a complete softy. He is outside in a dog-run during the day and inside the house at night. If you are nervous around dogs, they can sense that and become nervous too. Our Labrador is absolutely no problem and plays with our young grandchildren. We often have a quiet little dachshund staying with us t...

We are a couple in a neighborhood in the north-east area of Seattle, Washington. We are interested in hosting a person or two who could help with some yard work, maybe deep cleaning the kitchen, general house projects, etc. Also, Sally is involved in a house-reorganize project for her 89 year old mother that she would love help with. Short term stays are best for us (around a week, plus or minus). We ask for 3 hours of help per day (except for arrival and departure days). It's OK to work longer days and then take days off - we are flexible. You have your own bedroom & your own bathroom with shower to use on the lower level of our home. We are helping at a festival in Seattle's center and we would love some help with this. If you are interested, join us. It is a lot of fun at the city center, right by the iconic Space Needle. It is "Croatiafest" - you can look it up and learn more. We have two "kids", 25 and 27, all grown and moved away. The photo posted is really old! W...

Welcome! Your choice: You can exchange two hours help a day for the room only, or you can work for 4 hours a day and we provide meals. We have a private spot close to town here, and are two friendly people, a little dog, and some chickens. Our quiet and green home is in easy and pleasant walking distance of Nelson city centre. It's like being in the country. There is also a bus just steps away, if you want to get into town quickly. This is a good mix - looking after trees, garden, house and each other; making music; preserving fruit, etc We - meaning us two, Ian and Eva - love WWOOFers who enjoy what we are doing, and want to be friendly and part of the family. Eva is a Homoeopath, Ian is an Engineer, we both love to sing, eat, and share good food, and have fun with friendly woofers. The house is surrounded by green hills, with some of Nelson's best bike tracks and walks right next to us. We love cooking and sharing meals. We can talk with you in English, French or German No Smo...

Hi Helpxers! We offer a fantastic opportunity to spend time near Glacier National Park, MT! Helpxers needed all year round! The property: 10 acres with a 40ft waterfall and a lovely creek flowing all season long. We have 4 cabins, 1 off-grid where we reside and 3 others that we rent. We are just about 2 miles from town where there is a general store, several restaurants, a bakery, post office, gas station and other shops. We are a trail town for the CDT (Continental Divide Trail) and just about 20-75 minutes from all of the Glacier National Park entrances. We have plenty of hiking and biking right from our property! What we need help with: We are looking for a someone(s) to come help on the property. We are primarily looking for support during our busy summer season (May-September). We can use people with skills in building - we are hoping to build a chicken coop and lean to for sheep/goats. We are planning to build a few cob structures as well. We also are looking for someone...

We have 3 hectares of land, a gorgeous swimming pool and spa pool available for use, fire pit, pizza oven and a lot of outdoor area to keep tidy! You will have your own room and bathroom and are welcome to join us at meal times. We have Starlink with unlimited data, as well as several streaming services you can tap into. We have an avocado orchard of approx 300 trees, veggie gardens and flower gardens - all of which need some extra care. There are some local walks nearby, we are 20 minutes from Mt Maunganui beaches and from Omokoroa. There's a fantastic cycl...

My focus is on producing healthy, nutrient-dense food in an environmentally-sustainable and ethical manner. That may sound like a lot of multi-syllable boxes to tick, but it comes down to common sense and logic and knowing the consequences of your interactions wtih nature. I research, experiment, write about, consult and teach how to live off the land. Hence my orchard contains a huge range of food-producing plants. However, I have learnt to distinguish between edible and tasty and I love it when travellers from other cultures teach me how to use a food in a way previously unknown to me (remember, all of NZ food plants are imports). From 20 Sept to 3 Oct 2026 I would like to host several Helpers simultaneously for a spring working bee in the orchard. The main task will be organically feeding the trees. This is a nice way of saying we will be spreading mulch. It is physical outside work, and with a group, quite quick and fun. Other normal spring tasks such as looking after the a...

Room and simple breakfast of toast, tea or coffee, I can show you where to find free bread and there is generally some rice or pasta you can use, occasionally some fruit and vegetables, or other food included but not guaranteed. I have a minimum stay of 2 weeks and a maximum stay of 3 months. Ipswich is a lovely place in itself and is about an hours drive to Brisbane, about an hour to the Gold Coast, about an hour and a half to the Sunshine Coast or about an hour to the mountains in Toowoomba. Many visitors to Australia assume it will be hot here and in summer it is, in winter the temperature can be very cold. Make sure to pack some warm winter clothing if travelling in the winter months. I don't have fans or air conditioning so the temperature is what it is. It's hot in summer and cold in winter. Electricity has become too expensive for me to run heating or cooling appliances. I am not on a farm, it is a residential block in Ipswich. My house is small and cluttered and surrounded...

We have a 935 hectare Sheep and Beef Farm situated in the Hurunui District, North Canterbury. Greta Valley is 1 hour north of Christchurch. We are situated only 1km off State Highway 1. If you enjoy the beach, fishing, wineries, hiking in your spare time this area would be the perfect place for you to explore. We are looking for some keen enthusiastic helpers who would be interested in helping out in the garden and section. It would involve weeding, hedge trimming, mowing lawns, painting, firewood and general duties. There would be the opportunity at times to also help out on the farm. Accommodation and Wi-fi will be provided along with all meals.

Cheers Al

First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. M...

Help out in the morning (2 hrs), surf or relax in the afternoon. We are looking for 1 or 2 happy helpers to join our team from mid-September. The work is mainly housekeeping and general hospitality tasks. The jobs are easy, but we are looking for someone who has an eye for detail and a positive “can-do” attitude. In exchange for 2 hours of help each morning, you get: 🏠 free accommodation, dbl room for couples and twin room for friends, 🌴 plenty of free time to surf, explore or simply relax. Our lodge is a historic Kauri building right on 90 Mile Beach at Shipwreck Bay, Ahipara, a beautiful spot famous for its surfing. We are a small guest house with 18 beds and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Most of our guests come here for surfing and to explore Cape Reinga. If you are not into surfing, no problem — it’s a great place to hang out, relax and make friends.

Enjoy a relaxed rural stay with us (Alistair and Claire) in Tauranga in a modern home. Wood cutting and stacking, fertilising, weeding, pruning, tending to flowers in season, and some general household cleaning. We would be looking at 4 hours maximum per day - 5 days a week. Negotiable on days and maybe some days more, meaning other days less. Some of the work may be physical depending on what we need help with at the time.

10min drive to Hot Water Beach/cathedral cove. Not far from the pristine new chums beach. 4 hours work in exchange for food and accommodation. Explore the Coromandel when it's not busy. We have 2-3 weeks work depending if it is a couple or single person. We are mainly gardening at this time if the year, so being physically fit is helpful Other jobs will be cleaning, and wood chipping/ mulching etc We have a large 5 bedroom home. You would have your own room with a queen bed & a single bed. Own shower, or use the main bathroom. Rooms are inside the house, not in a outdoor flat. Free WIFI, sky TV. Nice pets, parking space. We have 3 kids aged 13, 11, and 10. They are good kids, polite and love playing sport. We need a bit of help with planting/landscaping, household cleaning, and a couple of outdoor projects eg washing the house, windows and cleaning gutters etc. We do eat meat so it's ideal that you do to. 90% of our meat is home grown.

Jambo Fellow Adventurers! I’m looking for 1–2 enthusiastic helpers to join me at my peaceful, tree-filled property in Te Awanga — a charming beach community in Hawke’s Bay, just 20km from Napier, Hastings, and Havelock North. The area has plenty to enjoy: surfing, swimming, beach walks at low tide, fishing, vineyard tours, and scenic trails. A great base for exploring! What I need from you: Up to 5 hours of help per day, 6 days a week (with flexibility by agreement), covering garden maintenance, general cleaning, painting and helping with evening meal prep and cleanup. We’ll work together on some tasks, so those hours are fixed — the rest is up to you. What I offer in return: • Comfortable, private accommodation for a single person, couple, or pair of friends • Lunch and evening meals on working days • A relaxed, tranquil place to call home for a while I’d also love for you to bring a favourite recipe from your home country to cook and share — I’ll cover the ingredients! I provide b...
