Great Mackerel Beach is a magical place in Sydney. A small and peaceful community with lots of wildlife; expect to see wallabies and plenty of local birds. Gardening, forestry We live in a small cottage on a friendly lake about 3 hours north of Toronto. We have the usual cottage toys available, canoe, small sailboat, row boat. Looking for help with selective cutting trees for firewood and lumber which we cut on our own small mill. Hopefully someone that is a better gardener than we are as we would like to start growing our own produce and maybe even get some chickens. Help with some construction and painting projects. We have some old machinery we are always trying to keep running. We are offering free accommodation and meals in exchange for help. This is a no smoking environment.
