Our hostel situated in the heart of Vegueta in Las Palmas’s old city, close to the university. Good morning;. I went on the Wagon Train in Montana like every other year. We had a bad wreck, both of us got hurt. My ribs are not broken but the Doctor said they would be better if they were . This is a large farm of terraces and forest in the foothills of the pyrenees. We farm truffles. Unfortunately we don't have animals at the moment. The house is very remote up a 2km track and twenty minutes walk from a very small village. The house runs with solar energy and water from the local river. The area is spectacularly beautiful with an 11th century castle ruin and hermitage. Great for nature and wildlife with Golden Eagles nesting in the valley and great for climbing and walking. You will need to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet. Most of the work will be outside, I have some building work to do and plenty of gardening this spring. Building work is traditional and eco friendly. English, spanish portuguese and french. I will attempt to show you around this beautiful area of Northern Spain.
