We operate a retreat centre, hosting yoga, art, creative writing, hiking, cooking etc. retreats. Each week we have new groups of 12-20 people coming to stay. We are looking for people to provide kitchen help from March until November. The work consists primarily of preparing and serving tables, cleaning the kitchen and supporting the chef (e.g. chopping vegetables). During the winter we offer a possibility for one or two people to stay and help with garden work and maintenance. For most of this time we are closed to the public, so it is very quiet and not well-suited to someone looking for lots of company. Unlike the spring and autumn seasons, you will need to prepare your own meals. Helpers are expected to provide 30 hours per week, in return for board and accommodation - usually 5 hours per day and one day free each week. Hi there, I'm a 32 year old male renovating a house in a gorgeous location in south east Cornwall approx. a mile from a gorgeous strip of untouched national trust coastline. I'm looking for someone (preferably a semi-skilled tradesperson) to assist me in renovation and building work in exchange for food and accommodation in this beautiful area. I'm initially looking for someone for some weeks over the summer who wishes to explore Cornwall and enjoy the summer down here but I can potentially offer paid work for anyone wanting to stay longer. This school was established in 1975 and is a family run School. We are based in Uttaradit/Thailand and have about 600 pupils. The school teaches children from Kindergarten (3-5 years old) to Secondary School (15 years old). We need Volunteers who would like to teach basic English or basic Chinese. Your work is mainly with the youngest children, using flash cards, games, songs and puzzles. We play to learn! Because it is a school we would appreciate you staying for at least a 2 week minimum so that the students can get to know you and we can have time to show you our beautiful countryside and attractions. We would also welcome volunteers with graphic design, web design or video creator skills. Your work would be mainly in the morning and the afternoon is free for you. Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks.
