**We are looking for helpers in July, September and early October. ** Hello, we are a small organic wine and fruit farm in the South of Germany, run by a middle aged couple (Monika and Sven) since 2008. Our products are spirits from our fruit that are produced in our distillery (we were awarded "best distillery of the state"), wine and honey from our bees. Also we organise wine tastings and group events. Lately we added a little craft beer brewery and we open our beer garden in the months June and July. - - - - Depending on your home country you might need a "Schengen"-visa. It is then valid for most European countries. There is no volunteer visa or something like that. You come here as a tourist. So before getting in touch with us, please check if you can meet the visa requirements, especially if you come from an African or Asian country. Here are the details: https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/how-to-apply-schengen-visa/ - - - - Lately we had many reservations but then people didn't...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in ...

Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM the middle of APRIL. We are fully booked until then. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. I am looking for people that are passionate about dogs and like to spend time and work with dogs. A pack of 24 huskies is something different than having a pet dog at home. You will be able to join our animal assisted programs with kids and young adults and learn about it. I am educated in dog physiotherapy as well and there is the possibility to learn in this field as well. Beside the main topic the huskies we have bee hives and produce our own honey. There is a big garden with fruits and vegetables that needs maintainance. To sum it up our work here is mainly outdoors with nature and animals. Every day is different so its not possible to give you a long term daily structure in advance. There are some everyday tasks in the dogcare but the rest of the work depends on the weather and the season. As we live in a small village the main freetime activities are biking and hiking. More freetime options you find in cities around in your days off. Vienna is quite close and its possible to ta...

We live on a 1.5 acre organic property with a beautiful and extensive home garden growing edible flowers for chefs and cake decorators. We grow most of our own vegies and have 4 happy chooks. CURRENTLY AVAILABLE: 21 – 26.04.2026 My place is a charming, bright apartment in Zürich, about ten minutes by tram from Stadelhofen train station. I share the space with a flatmate and a friendly cat. It’s perfect if you’re looking for an urban experience while still being close to nature. We also have a small garden in a beautiful hillside location near a forest, within a local community garden area. I’m looking for help with general housekeeping, garden maintenance and cat sitting. Experience with basic renovation work (such as painting walls) would be a big plus. In your free time, you can relax in the garden, swim in the lake, or enjoy Zürich’s rich cultural scene. In exchange for 4 hours of help per day per guest, you’ll have a private room. It’s ideal for one person, a couple, or two close friends. Clean bed linen and towels are provided. Food is not included, but you’re very welcome to use the kitchen to cook your own meals.

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Rooā€˜s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

It looks like we are full until at least June but you are still welcomed to make inquiries about future dates. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not really necessary, learn on the job! šŸ˜‰šŸ‘. So you need to be a "morning person" who is happy to start work at 07.00 hr, at least five mornings a week, not a night-owl. This is to avoid the heat of the afternoons at this time of year, mornings ca n be beautiful. Much of the work will be outside, based out of a well-equipped, air-conditioned, woodworking workshop an...

* Very often one or two of the volunteers works as a handyman and general maintenance worker, and this position can also be paid for the hours in excess of the 25 hours per week. From the reviews of the others you can understand a lot and you can feel what we can share... I speak English, Franch and basic Portugues. Hi ! We are a parish situated in the center of Tuscany. We are in a town, really nice and famous, rich of art and history, not so far from Siena. The name of the town is San Gimignano. In our parish we organized many activities with kids and teenagers. Even if there are many tourists around every day, I really like the idea to give to the more young of the community the possibility to share time and experiences with those who have a different background, different experiences, different languages. For this reason I decided to open our activities to some people of other cities and countries. We organize activities especially in summer for children and teenagers, some activi...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots...

We live in a beautiful part of the world between the beach and Margaret River town. We live on a farm with multi- generational families, we work towards a lot of self sufficiency and we work off the farm also. Our interests include music and wellbeing. The Margaret River community is vibrant and has many activities on offer. Our family welcomes cross-cultural experience. We like our Helpxers to be happy; we offer clean, comfortable, private caravan accommodation. Tasks are dependent on helpxer skills, farm, family and home requirements (such as whipper snipping, gardening, wood splitting, domestic tasks, artistic skills and painting). Having a car is necessary as there is no public transport. We ask for 1 hour work a day (couple) and 1.5 hours work a day (single) which means that helpxers can get work off the farm, if you like. Kind regards :) Sabine, Tony and Family

I have been Bio-Dynamically and Organically food growing and have now embarked on a new project. My current project includes establishing a self sustaining small holding and two Eco building projects. I have a large vegetable garden that is chemical free and a cob oven and outside fire pit. The projects that I am working on at the moment are a 2 storey extension, a glass bottle wall building, and a barn renovation. I'm also making a sauna and steam room. Travelers should choose my place because it offers a calm, friendly, and comfortable home in the Dublin Suburbs 10 minute train ride to City Centre. You’ll be surrounded by plants, nature, and good company 🌿. The tasks are light and relaxed. You’ll also learn practical gardening tips and horticultural knowledge in a cozy, welcoming environment. It’s an ideal place for volunteers who enjoy peaceful living, meaningful conversations, and a warm home atmosphere. I am a well organized and responsible person. I have a satirical and humorous view of the world. It is important that volunteers in my home don't take themselves too seriously. I’m an easygoing, friendly host who enjoys gardening and evening chats 😊. I value respect, honesty, and harmony in the house. Volunteers can expect to be treated kindly and fairly, with plenty of support and patience. I like keeping things informal and relaxed, and I always try to make sure everyone feels comfortable and at home. Trust is important to me...

A lively, friendly surf-centric accommodation just a short stroll from Selong Belanak Beach. It’s not a big party hostel, but it does have that relaxed, social surf vibes that many backpackers and nomads love — think comfy mixed dorms, cool communal spaces, and a terrace where you can compare surf stories after a session. It’s a great base for beginner-friendly waves and connecting with other travellers

Kia ora If you'd like to work amongst trees and flowers, stay in a lovely cabin with a beautiful view and private verandah, swim in a pool and eat home-cooked meals, you might like a week's stay at Apata Gardens. We have a small flower farm in the Bay of Plenty, halfway between Tauranga and Katikati, about 2 hours from Auckland. The flower farm is set amongst the trees of our two-acre property, which has spectacular views out to sea and across to the Kaimai ranges. My husband has a small olive grove, we have a wide range of fruit trees and grow seasonal vegetables. Our guest cottage (see the attached photos) has a bedroom, bathroom and private verandah, and we will provide all your meals. If you have some gardening, horticulture, landscaping or similar experience, or would like to learn, we'd love you to come and stay with us. We are looking for help in our garden - jobs like edging garden beds, applying mulch, pruning shrubs, weeding and using a weed eater. We're really happy ...

We've been part of Helpx for several years now and have met some wonderful people, many of whom we still keep in touch with. We live in York, in the north of England, where we have a garden and (a 10 minute walk away) an allotment where we grow fruit and vegetables. We try to cultivate using the `no-dig` method and like to re-use and recycle wherever possible. Our house has solar panels on the roof for hot water and electricity, as we are keen to reduce our impact on the environment. The work includes turning and spreading compost, making new beds and paths, weeding, seed sowing, planting out, grass cutting and fence painting. From early summer, fruit and vegetables are ready to be harvested and prepared for freezing and conserving. If the weather is bad then there are always jobs to get on with in the house, garage and greenhouse. We can offer all meals, laundry and accommodation, (own bathroom) in return for a helping hand, usually around 4 hours a day, 5/6 days a week, or e...

Hello. I’m Paolo, a recently retired musician. I live in a mountain area made of rounded, wooded peaks in the inland of the Italian Riviera, at the point of connection between two regions, Tuscany and Liguria, widely renown for art towns (Pisa, Lucca, Florence among others) and picturesque fishing villages. It’s a quiet setting to get away from it all, with a 360 degree view stretching for tens of miles and right down to the Mediterranean Sea, only 25 km/15 miles away. Here is where the Alta Via (High Route of the Ligurian Mountains) starts, a long-distance waymarked hiking trail for nature lovers. I speak Italian (native), English (fluent) and French (fluent). I’m looking for volunteers who are self-motivated and good with their hands, willing to help me with general maintenance around my property in exchange for food and lodging in a friendly environment. I appreciate a baggage of life experience that is not too small, so volunteers in their mid to late twenties at least and in t...

Vienna is quite close and its possible to ta...

i have been on couchsurfing network for years hosting many people.. and i think this HelpX network is a great idea. Actually i prefer it now. I am flexible with my time (especially during the week days) and love to hang out and make new friends.. In the summer I travel around Victoria and Australia a lot, going on road trips with friends and many music festivals -camping in the bush etc.. I am into music (composing/playing); Alternative health / medicine ; Electronics / Engineering / technology ; Anything weird wacky unusual unexplained strange secret, and business combining most of the above, ;) .. The world is full of amazing things and possibilities and Life can never be dull for the seeker with an open mind. I am very passionate about hidden truths and wisdom and always keen to learn and share (if called for) I do not drink or smoke and i like vegetarian food but i m pretty flexible.. During the warmer months me and my crew travel to various outdoor music festivals around Aust...

Welcome to our oasis. I’m (Linda) a horticulturist, author and environmental educator who loves to share her expertise. Damien is recently retired. We live on a 1.5 acre organic property with a beautiful and extensive home garden growing edible flowers for chefs and cake decorators. We grow most of our own vegies and have 4 happy chooks. You’ll be staying in a large bedroom of our ranch style home with your own bathroom and fridge. Our garden needs help as Linda is catching up after a big growing season, so we are looking for a person who is active, fit and knowledgeable about plants and who enjoys weeding and planting. We provide three meals for 5 days per week in exchange for 4 hours garden help per day (20 hours per week). We can plan with you, the days and times that suit us best. The other days and times you’re at your leisure to travel, work elsewhere or relax by the pool etc. Getting around…we have local buses and you can use my bike. We are 3 km from a small shopping ...

We have two rooms available. You will have access to a shared bathroom. Our home has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living and dining area.

Update: we are looking for a couple (ideally, but singles also welcome) to stay from 14th April onwards 😊 We are on an off-grid organic permaculture property on a big hill with amazing sea & rural views, along with spectacular sunrises & sunsets. We live in a 2 bedroom rammed earth house, where you would be in your own bedroom and share the facilities. We need help with gardening, looking after our toddler (2 yo), planting, weeding, construction, cleaning & laundry (we run a small glamping business with geodesic domes also). We would be very happy to teach you what we know about Permaculture (we both have our Permaculture Design Certificate), our Food forests, gardening, composting, etc. Thetr are surfboards here that you can borrow & if it's summer & there's time, I could even give you some tips with surfing too! Our toddler is a very happy chill little dude that loves going outside & to the beach. Ideally we want people for at least 2 weeks or longer, but are flexible. We ar...

Hello, i would be happy for help. There is a lot to do on this place, mostly in the garden. Technical help, e.g. installation of solar panel, building a greenhouse, renovation of an old cattle house would also be needed. A carpenter and a bricklayer would be also great. We are vegetarian ! :-) We are a couple in our best age, and are here since 5 years. We want to build a small place for meditation and Qi Gong here. We want this to become a place for living and coming together. We would be happy to meet you.
