Hi Helpxers. Welcome to New Zealand's winterless North. We have vacancies to host either a solo male or a solo female in stays of two weeks or longer from Sunday 28th March 2027 and onwards from there. Our place in the Far North is an ideal place to begin your New Zealand experience as you will be starting at the top of the country and systematically working south in a way that lets you see it all. Our property is situated close to many of the Far North's beautiful east coast beaches, Kauri forests, ninety mile beach on the West Coast, less than a day's return visit to Cape Reinga, forty minutes' drive from Paihia or Manganui, and fifteen minutes' drive from Kerikeri. Tour buses to ninety mile beach, West Coast sand hills and Cape Reinga can be boarded from Waipapa and Paihia (we can drive you to and pick you up from the tour buses Waipapa pick up stop.) Apart from those surrounding attractions there are many beautiful walks around Kerikeri itself, and of course the local waterfa...

NON Smokers only I’m looking for a specific special couple available after the 11th October I’d prefer a couple but 2 girls would also work Hi We live in a lovely house in Seven Hills. We moved here 4 years ago and are loving the area. We have Seven Hills reserve at the back of us. I am mum to 18yr old twins Aleksander and Magnus. Sadly my husband died when the twins were nearly 3. We have a beautiful home with city views and a swimming pool. We have a guest bedroom with newly renovated en-suite In return I need spring cleaning and a garden make over. I need someone organised to help me file away papers, I’ve had much paperwork to do with the twins turning 18 . My printer broke and haven’t worked out the new one that well. Help with the twins and just enjoy being with a family who have had such lovely memories with our helpers. The photos are Laurie and Cedric my first helpers in 3 yrs I expect 4hrs help a day in return for food and accommodation. I actually find it easier if...

I have so enjoyed the helpxers who have stayed and achieved so much on my property. You are welcome to come and help. I have a double room available. Currently I would prefer to provide just accommodation and for 2 hours of your energy each day (Although we can negotiate 4 hours each day for accomodation and food; OR put in an 8 hour Saturday day then enjoy a free Sunday for food and accomodation ; OR 6 hours on 2 days to have one day free for food and accomodation.) Currently I need help with hens, garden, trees and house care. I live on a lifestyle block, in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges, West Auckland. In line with my concern for the environment, while most Auckland residents have their poos pumped to the harbours, I have chosen composting toilets. Although registered as organic really I am only spray free (not a helpx category yet), which means there is so much to do on the property. I have hens, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, so help is needed with weeding, gard...

We're Manon, Alessandro and Brioche (I'm a dog) a little young family passionate about nature, travelling, independence, regenerative practices, agriculture, farming, gardening, trekking and life. After almost 10 years of working and travelling overseas we felt the the needs to set roots and to transform our dream in to a reality. We bought an old farm stable in ruins (dry stone building) inside a very small village and a few hectares of old chestnuts forest next to it. On one side we want to restore the old building using eco techniques, as much as we can, to transform it in to our house and on the other side we are developing a syntropic garden, a little orchard based on agroforestry systems principles that will also be applied to some parts of the chestnuts forest. We're located in South Ardèche, near the town of Joyeuse. The place is famous for its rivers, canyons and forests with plenty of hiking and biking trails, bathing spots, canyoning, rafting, climbing spots, old small vil...

We live on ten acres in the Noosa hinterland on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Our home is 14km from Noosa, 11km from Noosaville; 10km from Coolum and Peregian Beach and Eumundi is 5km away. We live in a Queenslander house and our helpers have their own double room with a private access and their own bathroom. On our property, we have a variety of wildlife, including wallabies and kangaroos that come and go. The best time to see them is late afternoon and early evening. We are in a heavily wooded area and the birds are wonderful. We also have a big swimming pool which you are free to use anytime. My wife Denise and I have lived and travelled extensively and like you are eager to meet new people. We want to make your time with us interesting, exciting, and educational. Sandy is a retired psychologist and Denise a retired school counsellor. We enjoy meeting people, sharing experiences and helping with new adventures. We are looking for helpers for basic gardening, cle...

Kia ora! Seeking help all through the year. The home is a large Oamaru stone villa where my 20yr old son and our tabby cat live with me. Our work does take us away from home from time to time and we need help to maintain the existing gardens, and to redevelop some areas. I am redeveloping an area to become a vegetable garden and would love help with this. We have around 2 acres of garden - mainly flowers, hedges and mature trees with a pond which plays host to gold fish and attracts numerous dragonflies. The gardens are very tranquil. We host small events occasionally and sometimes run garden tours. Ideally, you'll have a bit of garden knowledge, but most importantly you'll be fit, have initiative and a willingness to muck in and help outdoors. The majority of work will be weeding, pruning, trimming. I expect 4 hours of productive work each day in exchange for accommodation, breakfast provisions for you to help yourself to, lunch and dinner. The accommodation is a bedroom in a s...

Room and simple breakfast of toast, tea or coffee, I can show you where to find free bread and there is generally some rice or pasta you can use, occasionally some fruit and vegetables, or other food included but not guaranteed. I have a minimum stay of 2 weeks and a maximum stay of 3 months. Ipswich is a lovely place in itself and is about an hours drive to Brisbane, about an hour to the Gold Coast, about an hour and a half to the Sunshine Coast or about an hour to the mountains in Toowoomba. Many visitors to Australia assume it will be hot here and in summer it is, in winter the temperature can be very cold. Make sure to pack some warm winter clothing if travelling in the winter months. I don't have fans or air conditioning so the temperature is what it is. It's hot in summer and cold in winter. Electricity has become too expensive for me to run heating or cooling appliances. I am not on a farm, it is a residential block in Ipswich. My house is small and cluttered and surrounded...

2 Small farms turned into the one near the West Coast of Clare. We keep lots of farm animals like cattle, horses, donkeys and sheep. We produce a wide range of vegetables for ourselves and some for selling. We have two children, went to primary Steiner/ Waldorf school; Frank (25) and Fina(21) and they love having volunteers around the place. Fina is doing equine studies and Frank studies horticulture and loves travelling. We hope you have the ability to adapt to our for most of you different and simple life-style and enjoy farmwork with irregular hours at times, and you will get a true sense of farming life-style! It is important to realise beforehand that you are a volunteer who gets the opportunity to join into our family home/life so please do not compare with a regular paid job.. Most important is that you are happy and enjoy your stay with us... We offer healthy food, wonderful sunsets and rainbows, some Irish traditional music, and the possibility to learn more about old style f...

We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. If you have something you are passionate about and want to share with others, we would love for you to run a workshop. One of the best things here is the variety of tasks you can do as a volunteer, which gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and discover what you enjoy doing most. We have a combination of short-term and long-term volunteers and on average we have between 10 to 20 volunteers and resident...

We have helpers for September and October so we cannot host anyone else until mid November. We like at least 2 weeks notice ( please ask 2 weeks early) . We prefer to host helpers arriving in New Zealand by plane. We offer you the chance to recover from your incoming flight and get organised for your visit in New Zealand. We can give you lots of advice about where to go in New Zealand....... We propose that after arriving from overseas, you stay a night without helping, to recover from your flight.. Then you stay a further 3 or 4 days organising your trip andhelping around the garden. We prefer people who can help on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Helping for a whole day , then having the next day completely free, works well for us and our guests. You get to do all the stuff that you need to do, without worrying about the time. Hours are very flexible. Welcome to central Auckland and our hidden garden. We have really enjoyed helpers staying this year. Our old home is centrally...

🏔️ Help Wanted: Alpine Farm Restoration & Lambing Season! Location: Lower Austria (Rax Mountain/Schneeberg area) Vibe: International, hard-working, family-oriented, and authentic. For us, the exchange is a two-way street. We want to learn from our guests as much as they learn from us, creating memories through shared meals and conversations. We are a pretty colourful bunch of nice people composed of an austrian and a middle east family and long standing international friends. Actually living here permanently: Feri (1982), Lise (1975) and the children Layla (2013) and Aisha (2015) and other family members are coming regularly to see us to enjoy the time together and preparing a mix of delicious oriental-european-food! Same as a lot of different visitors (friends, helpers, family) from all over the world are enjoying this place of meeting and exchange. The Mission: We are living the dream on a 150-year-old estate in a stunning water protection area, but to be honest—last year was a...

Sorry folks, we are now fully booked until the beginning of April 2027. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, jewellery making, or take some self defence lessons we could be a great match. Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. It is surrounded scraggy mountains and long valley walks. It is perfect for hiking or just relaxing in the sun with a good book. Within easy traveling distance for those interested in exploring this culturally rich island, is the seaside town of Cefalù or even the main capital city of Palermo, both are easily accessible by bus and train from the local town. We work daily on various homesteadin...

I have need of someone to help with gardening there is a lot to do and need you to like the outdoor life. I can lend you an old coat and gardening gloves for this. I am a strictly non smoking place both inside and out. Smokers including those who vape, will be asked to leave. I take in rescue dogs and then rehome when they are ready, you definitely need to like animals I have had people come who have an allergy to animal hair and dust. This is a farm atmosphere so dirt, dust and animal hair are normal here. I ask for five full hours a day please. The South West of England is a lovely area in the country close to Dartmoor National Park and also the Devon/Cornwall border, very scenic a couple of miles from Dartmoor National Park. 2km away there is a huge supermarket which sells everything from food to washing machines, it is open until midnight except for Sunday when it has reduced hours. I am in the country one mile from the nearest public transport to Plymouth, 7 miles awa...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

Hei, here is Monica and Mario During the pandemic our life changed radically and we are now living in the beautiful island of Skrova, most known as Lofoten's Little Hawaii!! Monica is from Portugal, 35 years old and Mario from USA (half Norwegian/Sicilian....) 34 years old. The atmosphere on the island is very relaxed and friendly! It's a small island and since we are the only cafe/restaurant, give us the oportunity to have a very strong conection with the local comunity. Volunteers that stay with us have the oportunity to meet and get close to locals and local life. We we like to go for walks, kayaking, paddle boarding, spend time in nature, eat some nice food (Mario is a great cook) and have some chats with a glass of red wine (preference under the shy Norwegian Sun ;) oh and we loooove to use the sauna!!! ;) We have various projects going on: - A little guesthouse with 15 rooms - a local cafe/restaurant, set in a beautiful 200 years old building - Our house: small tasks around ...

ENGLISH VERSION Here we live in an ancient school in the mountains of north Ardeche (1350m) ! My name is Etienne (35years old) and i live there since two years with Lena (27years old) who joined me two years ago and many people who join us throughout the year. Actually we are approximatly 7 to 10 people living here . it's a pretty remote place (closest supermarket is 30 min driving) but there is often people passing by (friends, neighbor, unkowns...). Most of the place is in a good state but there is still some work to do(paintings, coating, roof fixing, isolation...), so we would need a little help for the place to be able to welcome more people, and make our daily life better. The amout of work needed from helpers would be pretty low (around one or two hours a day), We want a little help but we want at first sharing our life with new people and have a good time. We dont have so much money and we try to repair the School with less euros as possible, with second use materials ...

I spend some time off farm but are flexible about work hours and/or pay. Work will be varied depending on skills but could include gardening, housework, maintenance around the farm, working with sheep or beef cattle or driving tractors. Crops raised include Wheat, Peas, Ryegrass Seed & Vegetable Seed crops. The farm also runs some Sheep & Cattle. Our helpers almost always leave with new skills which often include operating Quad Bikes and Tractors. At certain times of the year I can find paid work for you. I am easy going & well travelled, I like to enjoy life.I'm also a Couch Surfer host and like to meet people from elsewhere in the world. Interests include Mountain Biking, Fishing, Gardening, Self Sufficiency, Music, Travel, Camping & Hiking. The farm is close to Ashburton (8km) which has all services. Rivers, Recreation Lak...

Kia Ora. I run an Angora goat farm just outside Oxford in North Canterbury. I have 180 very cute goats which I shear for fibre twice per year. I also farm sheep and cattle. I farm in a sustainable way and have been trialling some regenerative agricultural practices. I am looking for helpers starting from late September / early October 2026. Jobs include farm work, gardening, housekeeping, servicing and cleaning my AirBnB and learning about our farming systems. You would have your own room and receive all your food in return for 4-5 hours work per day. Those are the typical Helpx conditions. There are usually other Helpxers at the farm and we work, eat and live as a family , sharing housework and cooking tasks. I look forward to welcoming you to the farm!

My partner, my nephew, our two small dogs, and I live in a spacious 18th-century house. We still have a few small finishing touches and setup projects to do around the house, so we would be delighted to welcome a handy person—ideally someone with an interest in painting—to give us a helping hand. In exchange, we offer a friendly atmosphere, a lovely private room, and good home-cooked meals in a beautiful setting. If you'd like, I can also help you practice your French or offer a few French language lessons!

Bonjour! My husband & I have a cow/calf ranch of mostly Red Angus cattle. We have 140 to calve, 40 yearling heifers & 40 yearling bulls and 4 herd bulls. Also we have 7 horses, 2 Border Collie dogs & 3 barn cats. Our ranch is a half hour drive from Fort St John in beautiful northern British Columbia. We own 480 acres in a farming & ranching community. Helper guests will get to learn about raising purebred cattle. There will also be opportunities (depending on the time of year) to learn about & ride horses & about using working cattle dogs. Our busy time of year is calving and AI’ing which is early January to mid April. (This is my priority time to have help) We encourage our helper guests to stay longer, as in the spring we will be delivering the yearling bulls to their new owners and this is a chance to see some of the beautiful ranching area. We start to calve around January 5th. My husband sometimes works off the ranch, so helpers will mainly be assisting me. The main help is with the catt...

We have a beautiful 6 hectare property in a really awesome valley. We have animals, a stream, lots of things growing. We have a large 3 bedroom house. We have a warm modern caravan for helpers to sleep in and all the other amenities are in the house. We have 3 awesome kids (only two live at home) and a great family vibe. We need help with working the land and making it as productive as we can. We need people who are hard working and take initiative. Prior experience is great but if you are a fast learner and up for a challenge then that is great too. A love of animals is definitely helpful as well. Projects include - gardening, building, organising, helping with animals, help around the house, fencing, tree planting and more. Cheers Regan and Lisa

We live on a small hill farm in the beautiful county Wicklow known as the garden of Ireland. We are a family of four. Becky and Kilian and our daughters Zoe (11) and Bea (8). Fiona (18) is also staying with us this year as an au-pair. We are quite remote so it is very serene and peaceful and the view is amazing. We speak English and German as well as French. We farm organically and have 15 free range organic pigs as well as 2 horses and 5 cats. We also have a poly tunnel and farm garden where we grow vegetables for our own use. Becky works from home and Kilian when he is not farming, has an additional part time job which calls him away on projects from time to time. We live 1km outside a little village called Redcross. It has a pub that brews its own beers and there is also a restaurant, snack bar and shop. We are 20 minutes to drive from a town called Arklow which is on the sea and there is normally a chance to get a lift in but it’s only a 1 hour cycle. Wicklow is a cool part of t...

Hello, thank you for looking at our listing. After a little break from hosting we're looking for helpers for April - October 2026. We are Cathy (47) and Leo (who is 14 years old.) We live in a lovely, but messy little cottage in a very beautiful glen. We are semi-off-grid and at the moment there's several issues with the plumbing so please do not apply if you need a daily hot shower! We like to have several helpers so friends are welcome to apply, alternatively we are happy to take single travellers - but please be aware you may need to share a sleeping area with other helpers (who we will ensure are the same sex and similar age to you.) The accommodation is extremely basic, the house is in disarray and I currently resemble a headless chicken for much of the day! Only apply if you are comfortable with untidiness and disorder. However, despite this you will have fun, be well fed and happy. The gardens and surrounding countryside are beautiful and peaceful, so escaping the crazines...

Hi there, I'm a 32 year old male renovating a house in a gorgeous location in south east Cornwall approx. a mile from a gorgeous strip of untouched national trust coastline. I'm looking for someone (preferably a semi-skilled tradesperson) to assist me in renovation and building work in exchange for food and accommodation in this beautiful area. I'm initially looking for someone for some weeks over the summer who wishes to explore Cornwall and enjoy the summer down here but I can potentially offer paid work for anyone wanting to stay longer. I'm a keen spearfisherman so happy to show you that and preferably you like fish that I catch regularly (bass, scallops, lobster to name a few). I also have a boat and fully kitted out woodworking shop. The location is very rural but has good links by ferry to the larger town of Fowey. A motorbike or e-bike would be a good way to get around as it is quite hilly! There is a great local community of events and a large number of young people in the ar...

We are a working farm and holiday park above Monkstone beach and within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. There is a small young team here full time. We are looking for one or two people to help on the farm and park. You will be required to do a variety of jobs including working with the team, helping with farm work especially lambing, helping with feeding animals, gardening, cleaning and D.I.Y. Overall you need to be enthusiastic, motivated and use your initiative. We will provide everything so you will be happy and can enjoy your time here. Its a great place!!! Visiting Pembrokeshire and in particular staying here would suit people who enjoy the outdoors, nature, hiking, water sports etc. There is so much to do in the surrounding area.

We are located in the heart of Berlin, one of Europe's most exciting and diverse cities. With its vibrant cultural scene, world-class museums, historic landmarks, countless cafés, parks, and excellent public transport, Berlin is the perfect place to experience urban life while enjoying a welcoming home environment. I would kindly ask you to help with painting, fencing, gardening, sweeping leaves, cleaning and maintaining the house, as well as feeding and caring for the animals. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time. You will have your own private room, and I will provide breakfast and one warm meal each day. If you enjoy cooking in a holistic and nutritious way, you are more than welcome to do so. I am always happy to share my knowledge about healthy food and learn from others as well. I am not just looking for someone to help with daily tasks—I would like to offer a meaningful cultural exchange and create a positive experience together. If you are interested in me...

We are Murielle and Luc living in Auvergne in a hamlet in the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park at 750 m above sea level. The house is surrounded by forests and grasslands. We live 10 mn by car from the city of Ambert and 1H15 from Clermont-Ferrand. Our life is simple. We enjoy nature, animals, gardening, and hiking with our donkeys. We like peace and quietness. We have hens, ducks, rabbits, cats, one turtle, guinea pigs and donkeys. Our pets are rescue animals and we are very attentive to their needs and well being. We also have a very small apiary. We have an association called ZIGZANES which proposes walks in the company of a donkey, donkey discovery activities for families and also animal mediation for disabled persons. If you are an animal lover, if you love nature, this is the job for you. You will help us with the care to the animals (feeding, cleaning animals and their shelters), and fence installation because not all of our land is fenced yet. We also need help to cu...

We are on an 70 acre farm in North Pope County, Illinois and are virtually surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest. Having been on this farm for 13 years, we are still developing infrastructure and are continuing to plant in the orchard and various berries as well as establishing and expanding garden and crop areas. We are a GMO, herbicide and pesticide free farm in all of our outdoor areas. As we are far away from "modern agricultural" property, we feel that we should have no problems with cross pollination of our crops with GMO's or damage/exposure from/to ag chemicals. There are many projects currently in process or in the planning stages. This summer/fall we hope to get new water and electric lines ran to all the barns and the greenhouse as well as get a fiber studio framed in and get the finishing touches on the greenhouses. Tasks on the farm are endless, so there are always things to do year round. Clearing brush, cutting wood, building fence, baling hay, sawing lumber, ...

I am professional early retired gentleman in my early 60's who lives in a 4 bedroom house with a substantial garden. I seek a helper who will assist with maintaining garden and house and be an engaging companion. House usually has other residents - either tenants or volunteers so there is almost always a little community atmosphere. A private room is provided to all volunteers and house has excellent modern facilities. Also, we often play puzzles, play chess and watch tv movies and TV shows. Listening and sharing music is also a constant activity. Finally walking around Dublin city and exploring the local area is something we do.

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start mid-November and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in return for their generous servic...

I don't want to sing my own ecological praises and drop buzzwords like 'project' - it's just me, but both place and lifestyle are exceptional: primitive, low impact, very alive. Since I live off grid without road at 1h walking distance into mountains and forest, a considerable energy goes into carrying, food to begin with; volunteers could enable me to haul materials, too. Then, at home, apart from keeping the house organized, which is also time-consuming the primitive way it is done (i.e. hand-washing), I want to rebuild parts of the house that are in ruin now, and that low budget with available materials. Moreover, cutting firewood is always an option. I like to hack with old technology and always appreciate donations of old gadgets, laptops, solar-related gear, electronics tools.. Generally I do live very low budget and could only rarely afford to provide for food, actually even it would be great if you could contribute some food here and there. If i am to provide food, one would ...

Tour buses to ninety mile beach, West Coast sand hills and Cape Reinga can be boarded from Waipapa and Paihia (we can drive you to and pick you up from the tour buses Waipapa pick up stop.) I have so enjoyed the helpxers who have stayed and achieved so much on my property.

Our helpers almost always leave with new skills which often include operating Quad Bikes and Tractors. At certain times of the year I can find paid work for you.
