Our family runs a western riding facility with 30 stalls, where we provide horse boarding and training, including reining and cow work. Hello, I am looking for some help with gardening and house maintenance, preferably someone with a bit of gardening know-how to help control (in a wild way) a medium size garden Also help with dog walking and possibly pet sitting for short periods. Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. We have a bush block with a 1 kilometre frontage to Pelican Lagoon Aquatic Reserve and Pelican Lagoon Conservation Park. Work is in our large vegetable garden, rock wall building and other construction projects, track maintainance, general household duties and computer. We work a 5 hour day not including time for lunch and smoko- although all these times are flexible. Accommodation is in a rough shack on the property (see the photo) or a large tent with beds and linen...You are expected to help out with kitchen duties and keeping the place tidy while you are here.
