This project is part of a sustainable re-population project in the Abruzzo countryside. It's part of a network active in this area which connects all the people living around that have chosen the natural farming as their way to freedom. I'm 50 years old and i live one and half km away from Tufillo in a three hectares property. An open space for those who love nature, natural farming, art, and the sharing of goods, knowledge and experience. I started this project which includes the renovation of a farm shed, the building of a new house, some organic vegetable gardens, a meditative corner on an old oak tree, a thermocompost-shower, a clay pizza oven, a bio-climatic chicken coop and small stable. There are to be planted an orchard and a vineyard. From the water source present in the property gushes pure water that will be channeled into two bio-pools that will be used as tanks but also for fish breeding. At the moment there are six chickens and three dogs but i also want to breed geese, r...

Hello! We are David and Celia. We were running one "donativo" albergue in Saint James way for 9 years in the north of Spain. We moved now to another "camino" in Galicia . We want to create a new donativo albergue, and we are doing it with our hands. We would appreciate any help with this new project, that's why we need helpers with "construction" knowledge. We have a place to make a plant garden, but we need to prepare it (it has been for more than 12 years with no human activity). We would appreciate if the helper knows how to prepare a plant garden. While David is repairing the house, Celia tries to do the garden, but has no experience. That's why it is taking a little while. In our previous albergue, we used to host voluntaries many times. We are used to it and we love the concept of volunteering. We would love to host people and do some works together, and enjoy sharing experiences, different foods, making some trips... And show this beautiful region in the south of Galicia to t...

Hi! I'm Tonje and I moved to my farm in 2020. And there's always a lot to do here. This small farm is in a very small town, by the fjord in Hardanger. Its a good place for hiking and culture. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. But I need help with maintenance of the outdoor area, wood working, chopping firewood and snow shoveling. I also have an airbnb, so cleaning, organize and tidying jobs are also tasks that I may need help with. Help are appreciated a lot. For your help, I can offer beautiful scenery, food and a private bedroom.

*** 23/6/26 - LOOKING FOR LONG TERM HELPERS **** . Olá! We are Lois, Max and little Fauna and we are seeking a person, or a couple, to come and help us out with our daily tasks! Me (Lois) spent 2 years travelling Europe in my campervan, using Helpx to volunteer on farms before settling here on my own farm in Portugal. We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. We are completely off grid and keep a number of different animals, 4 donkeys, sheep, chickens, 4 cats and 3 dogs. We are looking for help with tasks like shepherding, planting & gardening, small building tasks, watering, helping with day to day tasks like feeding animals, cooking (if you'd like!) also special tasks like painting murals on outside buildings, if you're artistic! Our routine is dictated by the season and the animals, but generally we are looking for 5 hours of help a day, for 5 days a week. The accommodation would be our beautiful yurt, with own kitche...

Kia Ora. We live in a lovely historic village of Puhoi, about half an hour north of Auckland. We have been hosting through helpx for many years now, and have met some wonderful people along the way. We enjoy sharing our home, garden and countryside surroundings. Our house is a short distance to the village of Puhoi. There are regional parks and beaches are close by. There is the famous Puhoi pub, and the village is on the Te Araroa walkway route. There are other walks and parks nearby to explore in free time. Your own transport is recommended, as there is no public transport into Puhoi, but we can pick up from Hibiscus Coast Bus Station, if you're using Public transport. The work around here are are mainly helping outdoors, gardening, weeding, wheel barrowing, tree pruning, and other practical building types of work if you have the skills,. On wet days there's cleaning to do. Some dog walking or house and dog sitting might also be an option for the right person, own transpor...

Update, possible accommodation available for kiwifruit staff. My caravan is available, not fancy but clean & waterproof. I'm a beekeeper in need of assistance, either with the bees directly or not. I'm located 16km South of Te Puke on a property that has a back boundary of native forest. I'm usually able to host people at any time of year, but am busiest in the spring. I currently have building projects happening, as well as lots of painting, waxing new bee frames, and also hands on beekeeping for anyone who is keen. I also keep sheep and cattle on the property here, and hunt deer and pigs in the forest. These grass and forest fed animals form a large part of the menu here, so vegetarians probably won`t be happy with the diet. I cater to lots of herbivores and they all have hooves or paws. The accommodation is a spare room in the house. The house is a late 1800s villa in need of replacement, but it keeps the weather out and I find it comfortable. Housework isn't high on my priority ...

We are an Australian White sheep farm (with a few cattle) on the volcanic plains of Victoria just north of the regional centre of Ballarat, adjoining Mount Beckworth, a large State Park/Scenic Reserve.. The property has been in our family for over 160 years and we are the fifth generation to live and work here. Prior to taking over the farm, we worked in education for many years. As well as the livestock, we also run a Farmstay operation, with guests staying most weekends. We are located six kilometres from the historic village of Clunes, which was the first town established during the goldrush era in Victoria in the mid-19th Century. We are one and a half hours' drive from central Melbourne and there is a regular, frequent train service between Melbourne and Ballarat, and daily to Clunes. We are located in an attractive area in the Central Highlands of Victoria, with a number of historic, attractive villages and towns nearby, as well as parks and reserves, cafes, galleries, winer...

Greetings, travellers! We're a couple in our late thirties who spent many years exploring the world before deciding to put down roots and create something meaningful. After living out of backpacks, volunteering, and experiencing different cultures and ways of life, we've now settled on one of the oldest intentional communities in New Zealand. Here we have begun crafting a space we call Shanti Mission (i.e. Peace Mission) —a place dedicated to simple living, wellness, and genuine human connection. Our share sits on a beautiful hillside ridge with sweeping views across the Abel Tasman National Park and Tasman Bay. From our ridgetop yoga platform, you can watch the sunrise, practise, or simply take in the peaceful surroundings. In exchange for 3 hours of help per day, we offer accommodation in a humble yet cosy caravan with a comfortable double bed and a wood burner for cooler nights. Just outside is a simple open-air kitchen and bath area, providing a back-to-basics off-grid experienc...

Hi you young and beautiful travelers, Bundaberg is a less known touristic town, with a mild climate, beautiful beaches and wonderful surroundings. It is also an agricultural country town with many backpackers hostels . With a bit of lack there might be opportunities for paid work on a farm. It’s only 350km north of Brisbane and easily reachable by train. My home is only a few minutes drive from the town center, yet secluded and peaceful, sitting on 2.5 acres. I am looking for people who would like to visit this promising coastal town and help with general house and backyard maintenance, around 4 -5 hours a day, 6 days a week. The person helping me will have a home away from home and a cosy room to rest in. I am hoping he/she will treat the place with respect and consideration, observing the few requirements related to the use of bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise, regretfully, we will have to part ways sooner then expected. A good home cooked meal and an occasional glass of wine is...

After an intense house renovation, we are now entering the final phase, focusing on cleaning and refreshing the house. From APRIL (for about one month), we are looking for help with PAINTING work inside and outside, as well as some light gardening tasks such as weeding. This period is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and likes to see visible results at the end of the day. From JUNE onwards, as the weather becomes warmer, the help will mainly consist of daily HOUSEKEEPING tasks (cleaning, ironing), with occasionally some light gardening. We’ve found that this experience works best for people who enjoy staying active and contributing in a practical way to daily life. We truly appreciate volunteers who bring positive energy, a hands-on mindset, and a genuine willingness to help. We are a Belgian family who has been living in France for over 20 years. In our late fifties, we speak French, Dutch, English, and a bit of Spanish. Our home is located in the beautiful r...

We have a project that we need help with. Nothing too complicated but plenty of it to do. We would love to have someone with building skills or at least a 'have a go attitude'. There is always gardening and house chores and we have a baby cow (calf) to feed. We have a small beef farm in the Southern Forests of Western Australia between Perth and Albany nearer to the coast. We enjoy the cultural exchange with our Helpers and enjoy helping them improve their English. We have had many Helpers over the years. There is lots of beautiful spots to visit around the area. You must have a car. We have two cute but sometimes annoying little dogs Tiny and Teddy! :D If you are honest, have a good sense of humour and have a good work ethic then this could be the right experience for you. We are flexible and want this to be a great experience for all of us. Hope to hear from you. Check out our Instagram page @Belvedere_Valley or text Judith on 0428767160

I have a charming, sunny, comfortable home with a lovely garden and a beautiful view over the harbour and mountains. It is very central, well connected to transport, with big parks and green belt very close. I usually only have one bed available, so mostly take 1 person at a time - only occasionally can I take 2 people. In return for two hours work in the house and garden per day, I will provide free accommodation and breakfast. I speak fluent Spanish and can help with someone learning English. I have a sociable lifestyle with many friends, and helpers are welcome to join in on some dinners. But I do need Helpxers who are independent too, since there will be times when I am very busy and not around much. If you're good at cleaning, gardening, painting and doing home maintenance and repairs around the house, that would be great. And I love good food, so good cooks are always welcome!

The helper accommodation is a double room in a 200 year old Cotswold stone house located in a small village near Stroud. There’s woodland above and it’s in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty backing on to the Toadsmoor valley. The house is 35 mins walk from Stroud town centre. There are a few shops in the village as well as a pub nearby. The house is surrounded with the hills and countryside on your doorstep and lovely views. From the garden...great for forest walks and exploring the Cotswolds. English, Spanish and French is spoken. I have my child with me half the week.. We aim to work an average of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. The work is varied but currently there are raised beds to make for growing vegetables, a chicken run to make, chickens to feed and care for, gardening, cooking, cleaning , or generally helping with whatever task is being done at the time, though no need of experience as I'm happy to teach techniques. Anyone with motivation and who's fairly indep...

We are Caitlin and Rodrigo, living in a beautiful stone house built in 1847 in the small town of Portage-du-Fort, Quebec. Nestled on the river an hour north of Ottawa, our home is a space of character and constant evolution. We share this space with Fee-U, our gentle rescued dog from Mexico, and our six-month-old son, Mayu Green. We believe in the power of a "village" to keep a home humming with energy, and we are looking for community-minded travellers to add their own spark to this shared rhythm. We are currently in a season of transition, reorganizing our historic space to separate our living quarters from our creative studios, eventually opening a gathering space for community programming. Through our design and curation work, we focus on various space-making projects and love collaborators who enjoy art making and brainstorming. No two days are the same: you might spend one day painting an antique dresser blue and the next tending to the garden or preparing nourishing vegan meals...

Our farm grows agapanthus plants for sale and we are located near Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills, 25 minutes from Adelaide. It has extensive landscaped gardens, cattle and function facilities. We welcome HelpX helpers . We would welcome you to our family or social events. Whilst here you can check out the nearby wineries, visit Monarto Zoo and go for beautiful walks. By any standard, your self contained accommodation is very good, with two double bedrooms with a slow combustion wood heater. Some meals can be shared with us but because we also work off site we are happy to provide food for you to do your own cooking. We provide accommodation and laundry in exchange for 5 hours work per day each for 5 days per week, usually in the morning so you have the afternoon off.. We are very flexible with days and times. We prefer a two week minimum stay. There is always plenty to do here and we are keen to utilize a helpxers skills, particularly mechanical, landscaping and horticultural skills. ...

Hi all Thank you for reaching out and considering this opportunity. We are currently looking for an active individual or individuals to help us with walking our two dogs while we are at work. Additionally, we would need someone to take care of our home and pets when we are away. As part of our family, you would be welcome to share meals with us. Some light housekeeping tasks may be requested, primarily related to daily routines during your stay, such as setting the table, emptying the dishwasher, and vacuuming the floors. Our work hours have changed and we feel that we are not giving our animals enough time, so we are looking for people that enjoy the outdoors and nature and would be willing to help with the animals. Also we need to have a steady presence for the dogs. ( although there would be enough free time, to explore the environment and undertake other activities.) Must be comfortable with large dogs, as they are really big and fluffy. We also have an older cat, who needs foo...

Preference will be given to helpers with a genuine interest in learning about NZ dairy farming and animal husbandry. We love sharing what we do and prefer to host helpers with a desire to learn. We run a boutique dairy farm, milking a small herd of much loved cows and selling raw milk to our wonderful customers Starting a new business is hard work and not for the faint-hearted. If you consider yourself up for the challenge of helping us, we'd love to hear from you! We offer a family environment with opportunities for farm work, housework, gardening and cooking. There is a wide variety of work available. Working with the animals of course, weed control, plus fencing work, painting, carpentry, building and lots of different small tasks to complete. If outdoor work doesn't appeal, help in the house with cooking and cleaning is always appreciated, and the large and previously neglected garden also requires a lot of work. We try to fit the work to each helper's skills and interests, and ...

Our 164-acre ranch is located halfway between the Pacific Coast and the Rocky Mountains, right on a beautiful wilderness lake in the Nicola Valley. We lie in the heart of British Columbia’s big Ranching country and are surrounded by vast forests, rolling hills and boundless prairies where beavers, bears, moose and pumas still roam. Even a small herd of wild horses calls the area around Glimpse Lake their home. As "Private Cowboy and Country Club" we are offering services like property maintenance, boating, fishing, restaurant/bar, accommodations, etc. to our Ranch Residents and members only. Summer or winter, there’s always loads to do with a small herd of Black Angus cattle, miniature goats and chickens like mucking out and maintaining stalls, paddocks and fields. Calving season is particularly busy but also a very heart-warming time of the year with help needed caring for newborns and on occasion bottle feeding them. However, you do not need to have experience with animals to vo...

...The Quiet Retreat, a Lifestyle Property , located on the north East Coast of Tasmania , St Marys. ...!! With only the help of many hard working wwoofer's/HelpX'ers , I started to build the house and clear the land here 26 years ago, so this place is a BIG BIG credit to all my helpers who worked here with me, enjoyed their stay and left their footprint..! These days instead of my helpers assisting me , I assist my helpers LOL , usually in the morning and than we try to cook a meal , please, understand that I am not a good cook, so help there is esp. welcome, vegetarian only. I feel that for the helpers who come here, maybe, apart from the usual work, self improvement/development could be one of their priorities... a good library of books is available and some very nice music... In the past I practiced meditation/looked at Zen/Osho/Vipassana etc, I love music and most of the time there is music in the house. This is a Private Forest Reserve, 80 acre property, 7km from St M...

We run our pottery business from home and look after our organic gardens, small orchard and numerous chickens. We have traveled widely ourselves and hosted travelers for over 10 years with another organisation, so are interested in HelpX for both the cultural exchanges and to be able to share our lifestyle with others while getting some help around the property. We are looking for enthusiastic helpers for help with things around the property such as gardening, wood collecting, cleaning, painting, general maintenance and other tasks depending on the season. In exchange for 4 hours work a day, 5 days a week we will provide you with all meals, but ask that you join in with the preparation, and accommodation in the funky little cabin with it's own veranda.  We will be happy to include you in our lifestyle, maybe you'll be there to go Friday night fishing on our yac...

We have availability from March 2026. This is what we are about in a nutshell: We are about inner peace for a compassionate world. You will be helping us to prepare this place for residential retreat and short break visitors to open fully in 2026. We will be hosting well-being, personal-development, meditation and similar groups as well as some guests who are holidaying in the area. It will be run as a community interest company. During the Summer / Autumn 2026 we are doing a lot of internal building work [taking down and building new timber stud walls, putting plaster boards up] and decorating [painting walls]. So plenty of opportunity to increase your practical skills and gain experience in renovating.

We are ceramic artists who live on our 1 hectare property about 20km inland from the beautiful Doubtless Bay area.

Who are we ? Hello ! My name is Marlene, I live in a small coffee farm near Fusagasuga with my family: my husband Omar Ricardo, my son Joseph who is 16 years old, and my mother in law Modesta. We also live with our 2 dogs and 2 cats who are very friendly. I am a professor of middle school and I work half a day, except on weekends, but Omar Ricardo, Joseph and Modesta are always here in the farm. It's only been a year and a half since we have been living here in the country, as we were before living in Bogota and then Fusagasuga. That's why our farm still needs a lot of improvement :) About our farm : Our farm is in the middle of the country, at 25 minutes by car and 30 minutes by bus of Fusagasuga. The bus stop is at 10 min by feet and pases each half-our. If you need we can take you in Fusagasuga by car: We have 3 hectares of property, in which we cultivate coffee and other trees like, guanabana, platan, cacao, mangoes, avocados, oranges, lemon, mandarine. You can taste and enjoy ...
