We have a vineyard, olive trees and vacation houses near Tropea in Calabria. We need a couple to help us for some week from september to june for vintage, olive harvest, gardening, general maintenance and internet announcements. In autumn, winter and spring we have a lot to do in the vineyard, with the olive trees, the house and garden. Accommodation in a full equipped chalet offered. It is better to COME WITH CAR or rent it here. We expect you to work 2 and half hours a day (16-20) hours a week. You should buy and cook your food. We are used to give local products and teach you how to prepare traditional dishes. We appreciate if you work more hours on weekends because we are at home. You have a free day in the week. If we have time, we can show you around our region and our white sandy beaches. We would be glad to welcome people from all over the world to our home. We prefer couples. Feel free to write us an Email! It's possible to contact us early, that's not a problem!

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots...

NOW BOOKED UNTIL 12TH SEPTEMBER (welcome messages for stays after this date). We live on a Croft on the Isle of Barra, Outer Hebrides. After a long break from taking Helpxs (9 years) we are looking forward to meeting new people, it was such a wonderful experience before. We are Sarah (Community shop manager), Wallace (creel fisherman) and Alexander (student). You will be staying in the house as part of the family and you will have a double room with a private bathroom. Barra is a great community and you will be made to feel most welcome. There is plenty to do on the island throughout the year including lots of community events. 2026 project is to get the garden back into shape after many years of neglect while getting a community social enterprise up and running. Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM the middle of APRIL. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. You will live as part of the family - during your stay, our home will be your home. Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs. There are stunning views looking out over a Devon Wildlife Nature Reserve and beautiful countryside. We live in a very attractive rural area of Devon on the outskirts of a beautiful old village called DOLTON (please look on "Google Earth") about a 45 minute drive from Dartmoor National Park. The village has a very friendly and active community, a church, 2 excellent traditional pubs, a post office and a small shop AND...

**** Urgently seeking help from now onwards, but also feel free to get in touch if you have any availability later in the future. Ideally, a minimum commitment of at least one month is necessary. It takes about 2 weeks to settle in and learn things plus shorter stays do not allow you to fully experience all that is on offer in our beautiful area. In the past we have many who regretted not being able to stay longer. This is the beating heart of the Scottish West Highlands. Katie and I own a small crofting home in a tiny village called Lochailort and we need help all year round. A good understanding of the English language is necessary. This location is not ideal for improving or learning English, as interaction with us and others can be limited. We are always looking for willing, reliable, pro-active, self motivated and enthusiastic volunteers :) Please whatsapp our mobile number or leave a message here if you are interested in a placement with us. We are particularly keen on couples...

The language school is 8 minutes away on foot from our house. I live with my son, Mikel, who is a university student. While you stay with us, you will be able to take part in lots of activities. Zalla is a town with lots of facilities where you can do nearly everything you can imagine. If you are interested in learning Spanish, we will be more than happy to help you! We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. Also 6 chicken, so we always have fresh eggs. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown edible garden. We're about to get ducks in addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We like to work with fun and laughter and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out. Be yourself and join the family... We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Please note that there's a minimum of 1 week stay, we do not like to be used as a pit...

Gardening and maintenance help on the foothills of stunning Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy. We have a villa in Sicily on the lower slopes of Mount Etna, just outside a small town, and divide our time between UK and Sicily and are a bilingual household. Our house is spacious, with beautiful views of Etna, the sea, and Taormina in the distance. Etna is ideal for nature lovers (spectacular landscape, donkey and horse riding, hiking, quad biking), and there are several pretty towns in eastern Sicily, vineyards, archaeological sites as well as beaches. We've welcomed guests here from around the world for many years. Our interests are the arts, travel and animal welfare. Tasks: - Garden maintenance: clearing leaves, weeds and brambles, cutting back growth, sometimes sweeping volcanic ash. To dispose of garden waste, some experience of shredding/mulching, composting and controlled burning is important. The garden is about 2000 sqm. Cordless electric hedgecutter, reciprocating saw, cordless str...

This is a busy fun jungle hostel. Our volunteers contribute their creative energy and talent at our busy jungle hostel. We are located in the Panamanian highlands (on the main road between both oceans) on more than 30 acres of rain forest (cloud forest) and re-purposed organic coffee farm. Because it is one of the only pieces of titled land, the community is looking to us alone to develop tourism. We are the deepest private reserve within the La Fortuna nature park. We host backpackers, volunteers, scientists, nature enthusiasts, birders etc. Because we want to employ as many persons from the local community as possible, volunteers are not simply used to cut down our labor costs. Minimum commitment length we are looking for from volunteers is 1 month We look forward to sharing the experience of living in the jungle with you. We are in the Lonely Planet book in both the Central America on a shoestring book as well as the Panama book. Our hostel has very favorable reviews elsewhere. ...

I would like help to tend the vegetable garden, chores on the farm, there is always a great variety of chores. If you like horse riding i am looking for a confident and capable horse rider, your riding abilities and horsemanship need to be of a good standard. I ride on farmland, forest, open ground and some road and you need to not be afraid to ride out on your own. I’ve taken over the Australian Hotel in Herberton and I’m looking for a helper or a couple to give me a hand to transform this place into something healthy and not alcohol related. If you're creative and don't mind painting and cleaning, there is an ensuite room for helpers who may be interested. Alternatively, travellers with a camper would be great, so they can stay in their own setup and in their time off explore and see some of the things you may wish to see around the area. I have a pool table and a dartboard, and soon to get the pinball machine up and running. Herberton is a small town. It's has a historic village and it was based on the discovery of tin, and the tin mining boom started here. Ideally, if you're vegetarian or vegan, it would be great. You could really help with some meals. I'll provide all the food and obviously accommodation. If you can come up with some really healthy meals in the commercial kitchen, that'd be really helpful for the team that's trying to get ...

HI, I am Paul, I live on my 14M monohull steel sloop (one mast) called "Kakadu". Aboriginal name for medicine plant. I have been cruising up and down the Qld coast for 10yrs. I would greatly appreciate some help on the boat to do cleaning and maintenance. Jobs like sanding wood and steel, painting wood and steel and cleaning other surfaces. Some of the paints aren't very nice but I will provide proper breathing equipment and gloves. The fun part is your living on the water in awesome spots. I have snorkeling and fishing gear and a dingy to explore with. It's easy in the Whitsundays to sail to a different spot every few days . Stay, explore do some jobs. I also appreciate a hand in sailing the boat and I'm OK teacher. I return to town when supplies are needed. I carry 1000L of water. I am 60 yrs old, have worked in Engineering studied Economics and had a cattle farm. I am a happy drinker (we call them Sundowners, sometimes before) and I do smoke. Hello my name is Philip and my wife is Allison. We have a beautiful piece of land in Devon where we look after and breed alpacas. We often have beautiful baby alpacas in the summer. We have some tourism here as we have two bell tents and a shepherds hut. I like nature and the outdoors and like to have interesting conversations with any helpers we have. I am also interested in Japanese and Chinese culture. We normally only take one or two helpers at a time who will live in a comfortable lockable studio with open views of the land. We supply the food and bed linen etc. The work is five days a week and is very enjoyable and variable. It will be feeding and helping the animals as well as some light farm work, nothing too heavy. Also some tidying of the tents. Please do not use headphones to listen to music when outside because you will not hear farm vehicles. Also if you need to listen to music while outside I do not think that this is the right place for you. Please contact me with any que...

This is a horse-riding and outdoor adventure company nestled in the heart of the Alpujarras, on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada (Granada, Spain). With over 30 years of experience, we organise horseback treks through some of Andalusia's most stunning and off-the-beaten-path landscapes. We are looking for motivated helpers to assist with horse care, stable maintenance, and various tasks around the property including cleaning, repairing, taking care of the other animals. If you're a horse rider, you may help with horse treks as well. You will have your own accommodation in a little house among the horses, with all the essentials (water, electricity, network, cooking facilities, etc). If you don't have your own transport, since we are situated in the Bubion village, you can access by foot a small supermarket & a pharmacy. There's also a bus line.

Welcome! Our family owned and operated certified organic livestock farm in North Central British Columbia is excited to have you stay and become a part of everything we have going on. We’ve been operating since 2008, primarily raising Berkshire pigs, Dexter cattle, Katahdin sheep, laying hens, broiler chickens and of course bronze breasted turkeys for thanksgiving and Christmas. On top of that, we’re home to two Labrador retrievers (Ned and Nelly), 3 outdoor cats, 2 guard alpacas and a family of Muscovy ducks. In other words, you will never find yourself not in the company of animals! Aside from livestock, we have recently built a small farm store / café that cooks the meat raised on the farm. We also take pride in creating all recipes from scratch, from the sauces to the buns of the burgers. Currently only operating during the summer months, 3 days per week. It’s been a lot of work, but a great way to get more people out to the farm, eating good food and connecting with the community...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a 1.4 hectare (4-acre) lifestyle block (mini-farm) close to the Hamilton city boundary. Our location is great for day trips to Raglan, Hamilton Gardens, and Hobbiton. For helpers without their own car, there is a bus stop about 15-minutes walk from our house, we might be available to help with a ride to the bus stop, and we drive into town a couple days as week as well. We have horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, a rabbit and a pet bird. We are establishing gardens, growing food, following permaculture and organic practices. There is always a wide variety of tasks to suit any helper/s, and the task timeframes are very flexible for weather and sightseeing. Outdoors there is usually some weeding to be done, other garden tasks, maintenance and improvements. Dream projects include building a small greenhouse out of recycled ranchsliders and building some small bridges over the drains. In winter, waterproof footwear is recommended. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. [NOTE: We are not active in winter. We are active from around end of April 2026 until end of September.] We are in the early phase of creating a community centered around cooperation and simple living in a pleasant, relaxing, nature-rich area of Germany. This shared home is a group of old railway buildings surrounded by a large, pleasant natural garden. Our goal is to make it into a unique, beautiful shared living space which captures the genuine essence of the buildings. We are situated in a small town just over an hour's journey from Berlin by train, direction north. We ask for 3 hours per day of your contributions, 5 days per week, but with lots of flexibility. Days off can be suited to your schedule. We offer accommodation only, but cooking together is always a good option. This is a fully voluntary shared living project. Your tasks as a community member will depend on your skills and interests, and can include: - basic painting, plastering, preparing floors, carpentry, and ...

*French version below* Hi y'all Ben and Claudie here! We're a little family (Ben, Claudie, lil' Lilith and the two cats Pirate and Tipanda) living the good life in beautiful Gaspé. We raise rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and goats, we grow a little garden, plus hay for feed. We also have a large forested area on our plot, where we gather fiddleheads in the spring, a variety of mushrooms during the summer, and tons of apples in the fall. We also do some lumbering for various building projects and heating. Additionally, we grow most our vegetables and fruits with friends in a shared commercial greenhouse. Living near the coastline, fishing bass and maquerel is also something we do from July to September. We like getting our hands dirty, we believe in hard work and mutual aid, we like the outdoors, but we were also anxious about what the future holds. Following in the footsteps of countless people before us, we figured growing our own food and limiting our reliance on unsust...

We are particularly looking for a couple with a car for a 2-3 month stay. We usually prefer long term stays but short term is sometimes possible for people with the right skills. Part-time arrangements (staying a few days per week or per month) are also possible for people living locally. Experience with gardening, animals, carpentry is ideal. We don't smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs and appreciate the same in others. We are a married couple ages 53 and 66, living on a small farm in the famous Vienna Woods outside the city. One partner is an Austrian artist/graphic design teacher and one an American farmer/musician. The American half of our partnership is certified in ecological horticulture from the University of California Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems, and ran an organic farm in California, hosting farm volunteers for 15 years before moving to Austria. We primarily need help with gardening, animal care, carpentry, maintenance/renovation of buildings; th...

We are restoring an old traditional Béarnaise house located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the Ouzom valley. We want to share it with people who can help us with the garden as well as with the house to maintain or restore it. Assistance activities concern the maintenance or restoration of buildings (lime plaster, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, etc), maintenance of the garden (brush clearing) and its vegetable garden, whether it is windy or raining, depending on the projects in progress and the skills of each. Slug hunting to be planned every evening at nightfall. Once a week a complete cleaning of the premises will be carried out by all. We ask for 5 hours help a day, 5 days a week. We offer accommodation in a large 4-bed dormitory. Please, bring your work gloves and clothes , if you have any. I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) We would be delighted to host volunteers who would not mind helping us with simple household tasks such as keeping the house tidy, cooking, watering the plants, weeding and welcoming guests. Our guests are typically "alternative travellers" staying overnight, including Via Francigena pilgrims and members of communities like WarmShowers, TrustRoots and BeWelcome. We invite you to read updates, news, and availability on our activities on our blog via the link https://voluntouring.org/2025/04/26/codibugnolo-volunteer-project-food-accommodation-north-west-italy/ WHO WE ARE We are Milena and Simon (30/39 years old from Germany and Italy), and last year we finally realised our dream of buying a little house with a big garden in the northwest of Italy. We moved here last winter and started with renovation works on the house, and with the warmer temperatures, we are now moving our focus to the garden. A couple of years ago, we were both volunteering in ecological projects and organic farms...
