We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

After years of searching for a sanctuary to connect with nature, regenerate, co-create, and share knowledge, we feel deeply blessed to have found our home: an oasis of one hectare right next to the Jarama River. We are opening our doors to those who believe in a harmonious way of life. Here, we honor Father Sun for our energy, and we are dedicated to bringing life back to beautiful trees that were abandoned for a decade. Together, we will care for them,100 olive trees, vineyards, almond, chestnut, pear, pomegranate trees and many others. Living in perfect symbiosis with the abundance around us. As we have just moved into our oasis, there is love and labor needed in almost every corner! Every pair of hands is welcome. We need help fixing the swimming pool, pruning, cleaning, caring for the trees, painting… We will be happy to include any new proposals that resonate with the land and the community. If you love creativity, deep connections, and sharing from the heart, you will feel r...

Hello! We are Andrew and Gail, a British couple who made the move to France many years ago in search of a different way of life. What began as an adventure renovating an old building has grown into a life we love in the beautiful Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park, one of France's best-kept secrets. Before settling here, we spent years travelling, volunteering, and exploring different cultures. We worked on kibbutzim and a moshav in Israel, travelled extensively by motorcycle, and met wonderful people along the way. Those experiences taught us how rewarding cultural exchange can be, and they continue to shape the way we welcome helpers today. For more than twenty years we have been exploring and falling in love with this remarkable region. We now run three holiday homes in and around the village of Le Monestier, welcoming guests who come here to enjoy nature, walking, cycling, photography, local culture, and the simple pleasure of being surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Our pr...

Hello Helpxers, I generally host between 2 and 4 people to help me out on a beautiful farm I have just bought in South Wales. I have bought this place to run as a retreat centre but I am also wanting to slowly build a self sustaining community. At the moment I am specifically looking for people to be here over the summer months. From the end of May to September (unless you are interested in volunteering for a retreat too - see below). Help atm needed on the farm, maintaining the veg patch and flower beds, campsite and b&b, wood prep - chain sawing, general farm maintenance, building work (building some infrastructure for the campsite), sorting some broken tiles, grass cutting - an anything else you might notice! The B&B at the moment is not busy but hopefully will pick up. Campsite is not yet going but hopefully will be by June. Also help in the house mainly keeping it clean and cooking. I am also looking for some volunteers specifically for a yoga retreat I am running from 27th - 3...

What can we offer?? We have a small rural farm of 72 acres with some cattle. There is a nearby river with some water holes for swimming as well as extensive opportunities for bush walking in the rugged hills surrounding the farm home to over 200 varieties of birds as well as wallabies and goannas and indeed one koala seen the other day We are situated in the scenic and historic St. Albans only 100km form Sydney. Adjacent to the property is the Common a land grant issued by Queen Victoria to sustain local cattle farms during periods of drought etc. The area initially settled as a food source for the Sydney basin, as well as a historical area based around convict and early settlement. Farm managed by friendly older couple (some French spoken with a comfortable farmhouse available for a couple). Area is also 80km from large towns so here is a need for own transport if possible although host may provide transport at times agreed upon. For example helpers could be transported to an...

🌿 Come help on our farm! We need friendly volunteers to join us with cooking, cleaning, gardening, and everyday tasks — no experience needed, just a good attitude and willingness to muck in.We are looking for helpers between the ages of 18 to 32. We are a small community of friends working towards a better life in a beautiful part of rural Devon, in the Tamar River Valley Estuary where you will make friends for life. In exchange for your friendship while you are staying here we will endeavour to teach you new skills that will carry you through life. A small farm in a beautiful location! Our farm and home probably date back to pre 1660's, with many additions since. It has been left to go wild for the last 40 years. The river has otters, seals, beavers, salmon, sea trout, and sea bass. With buzzards and owls overhead. There are deer in the surrounding woodland. The aim for our farm is to give the land back to nature and at the same time create an organic food source that we can freely s...

Hello, thank you for looking at our listing. After a little break from hosting we're looking for helpers for April - October 2026. We are Cathy (47) and Leo (who is 14 years old.) We live in a lovely, but messy little cottage in a very beautiful glen. We are semi-off-grid and at the moment there's several issues with the plumbing so please do not apply if you need a daily hot shower! We like to have several helpers so friends are welcome to apply, alternatively we are happy to take single travellers - but please be aware you may need to share a sleeping area with other helpers (who we will ensure are the same sex and similar age to you.) The accommodation is extremely basic, the house is in disarray and I currently resemble a headless chicken for much of the day! Only apply if you are comfortable with untidiness and disorder. However, despite this you will have fun, be well fed and happy. The gardens and surrounding countryside are beautiful and peaceful, so escaping the crazines...

Our school is an organization founded in 2013 independent of religious and political spheres. The project was born out of witnessing the many inequalities and social conflicts such as low educational attainment and attendance, youth crime, teen pregnancy, and domestic violence. We develop socio-educational assistance projects for children, youth and families at risk of social exclusion. Our school is located in the city of Trujillo, in the district of La Esperanza. This is one of the largest districts of the city, and also one of the poorest. For this reason, we have chosen to develop our project here. Our goal is to create a place where the affected children (3 to 15 years old) and families can feel safe and comfortable while learning and/or reinforcing both their academic and social abilities. In this way we try to abolish the rate of illiteracy and the social inequality gap. 1. Traveling is a unique experience to learn outside of your comfort zone. 2. What you learn will remain ...

The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

We are still searching for HelpX for the upcoming NSW school holidays from Sunday 26th June until Sunday 20th July 2026. Some of this time we plan to be away, so it would involve looking after our animals then, including our friendly dog :) I can provide HelpX exchange, nice indoor accommodation in a light filled room with a Queen bed, a weekly yoga class, English conversation and organic meals in exchange for 5 hours HelpX per day x 5 days per week. This includes a variety of tasks with 2 hours project work of your interest each weekday. Flexible timing as to when your hours are volunteered and have the weekends off to explore the beautiful area! My family moved to a riverside farm property several years ago. We live here with our rescue dog, chickens, geese, ducks and elderly cat! We are in the beginning stages of planning and implementing a small productive permaculture fruit, vegetable, tea and flower farm based upon a mix of permaculture, biodynamics, regenerative agricultur...

Hello travellers! If you like to interrupt your travels with some physical work in an idyllic place than we would love to host you on our land and in our family! At the moment we need some help in paddock maintenance, gardening/ weeding, mulching our orchard trees, bit of a hand in painting and fire wood work, clear our wee river access and create a 'swim' hole. If anything sounds like you got experience and would like to dive into it, please get in touch! We are a family of five (only one 'child' left at home) and love living with and in nature, organic and self-sufficient lifestyle, simplicity, loving nature, being active in the outdoors and travelling. Our hillside land is home to 15 sheep, 2 dogs, 2 cats, chooks, 2 ducks as well as loads of wild animals in the bush like stags, deer, pigs, goats and loads of native birds. We consider ourselves as the guardians of this piece of paradise at the moment and enjoy its closeness to nature and town, fresh spring water, clean air, indepe...

Hello everyone, I'm Mick, 43 years old, originally from the Italian Alps. After many years of travelling, the desire to slow down and create my own little harbour became stronger than ever. Seven years ago, I decided to settle down and buy a small farm in Portugal, where I now live together with my dog, cat, geese, chickens and ducks. The project originally started with my ex-girlfriend, and today I continue the journey on my own. The land is about two hectares and offers plenty of space to share with good-hearted and like-minded people. A beautiful river borders the property, there are natural springs with excellent drinking water, and we are surrounded by native forest. The nearest town with shops and amenities is only a 10–15 minute drive away. My vision is to live in harmony with nature and create a simple and respectful lifestyle, following permaculture principles and moving step by step towards greater self-sufficiency. At the moment, I am deeply involved in restoring and co...

Please read our profile carefully, and see our website and instagram. If you feel you are the right person or people for us, we look forward to receiving your application. This is a permaculture small farm on the edge of Violet Town, just 800m from the train station. The farm is well established, as most tree planting was done between 1996 and 2000, and the tree crops are well maintained and productive. Murrnong has a large established fruit and nut orchard, an olive grove, vegetable gardens, chickens, milking goats, bees, forestry for shelter and timber, and large dam for irrigation and swimming. Our house is made of timber and mud brick, and we catch our own water. We are currently in need of one or two helpers from today on ..... and because its so urgent you dont need to have experience with horses, just not being afraid of them will help. ;-) We are a family living in the SW Alentejo, Costa Vicentina, running a small rescue horse sanctuary in the middle of a forest, 12km from the ocean. Our main passion is the care and rehabilitation of rescued horses, providing them with a safe and loving home for life. We also do pedagogical work with teenagers, and in the winter season we work with medicinal & entheogenic mushrooms. We are currently in need of immediate help during the rest of June and the first 3 weeks in July! Their involvement is purely in the day-to-day care of our rescue horses and general upkeep of the sanctuary. We welcome you even if horse work isn't your main focus, there's always something to do around the property. Horses will always be around, and you'll have plenty of opportunity to connect with them. We're looking for peopl...

This is not a tourist spot. It is a quiet village. Hello, I’m Masa. My English is at a beginner level, but I will do my best to communicate with you. This place is not suitable for people who spend all day looking at their smartphones, neglect their tasks, dislike conversations with someone whose English isn't perfect, have a fear of insects, hold discriminatory views, or cannot respect the local culture. I run an organic farm on my own, primarily growing delicious vegetables like tomatoes and producing eggs. I often think about living a rich, fulfilling life and about world peace. The farm is located in a mountainous area surrounded by historic terraced rice fields and beautiful rivers—an ideal environment for nature lovers. The work involves general farming tasks such as harvesting, shipping, and washing vegetables, as well as planting seedlings, weeding, and pruning. I encourage you to participate in various farm activities; the work is simple and safe, and you’ll learn a lot. Wor...

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. Welcome! I am Fern. I live together with my 3 year old daughter on our small, off grid and very humble farmlet in Guildford, Central Victoria. Guildford is home to one of Victoria's largest river red gums. It is over 500 years old. It's a very small town with only a general store, primary school & pub, half way between Castlemaine & Daylesford. We have been on this land for 1 and a half years & have started using permaculture principals & design. So far, we have completed the fence line, (to keep the rabbits out) & joyously have begun some planting both in the food forest, cottage garden & in the veggie patch. We always have seeds growing in our tiny greenhouse. Fern has a background in florist & plant nursery work and has completed a PDC. Currently a full time Mama, her interest lie in walking softly on this earth, while the little one loves watching the abundant birdlife in our vast open skies! I love kirtan and am busy immersing ourselves in the local community. There maybe a proj...

This is a language cafe is designed for those who are willing to meet Korean locals and the ones from overseas. We provide them with the time and the place to meet and get to know each other while have conversations in English. I know from my experience that travelling or staying in other countries is not just doing sightseeing but experiencing the real life there. Here we try to bond them together as friends. If you are looking for something that can give you a chance to meet locals and to be mingled with them, this would be the best option for you. About the program : This is about the language practice and sharing their cultures, experiences and the thoughts. As long as you are an easygoing person to talk, open-minded and fluent in English, you can join us. As we are NOT looking for English teachers, it really doesn't matter which country you're from and you don't have to teach but have a conversation in English. And basically it is a 2 way conversation so you don't have to ta...

Wor...

Welcome! Hi, my husband and I live in a beautiful area on a lifestyle farm with our four young kids. We are working on setting up a sustainable lifestyle and there's always something to do! We have beef cows, a milk cow, sheep, goats, chickens, a couple dogs and a producing greenhouse. Would love some help with homesteading, ongoing projects, property maintenance, gardening, and help around the house. If you like your exercise there's a walking track to the top of our property with stunning views at the top. Swimming hole at a beautiful river 5 minutes down the road. Accommodation provided in our family home. You will have your own upstairs sleeping area and a separate toilet. Three healthy meals provided for 4 hours work. We look forward to meeting you!
