Tiny homes and Qi Gong a focus, beach and eco-sanctuary nearby. Vege gardens under development, big job with one person doing most of it, people interested in building, landscaping, gardening, maintenance, healing work, yoga etc would be very handy. Also building mobile homes on site and doing a lot of tree planting and maintenance Looking for people to help with building projects - perhaps to build their own tiny home while helping me on mine?

I am looking for a helper or two in early August. If you are interested please get in touch,Thanks! My previous HelpX enjoyed staying here, check out my reviews. I have 3 cattle, sheep and chickens. I also have a young dog who is learning about the world and who finds new people exciting! Helping may include - working in gardens and tunnel houses, spreading and turning compost, spreading mulch on gardens, helping harvest food, and planting vegetables, native plants and trees. I also have a pond planting project which needs some care and infill planting. The work is always outside (depending on the weather!) and some physical fitness is helpful. If the weather is bad, we will tidy and clean the sheds and tunnel houses Small household chores like washing the dishes, emptying the dishwasher and setting the table are additional to work hours. I would like 20 hours ( preferably 4 x 5 hour days with Wednesday not worked) help a week, in exchange for full board including food, wifi ...

(La description en français se trouve plus bas !) We are a small Buddhist community living in the forest close to Sainte-Julienne, Quebec. We have an organic fruit tree nursery, along with many other projects on our land: several fruit orchards, chickens and bees, growing our own vegetables and herbs and trying to be independent in many ways. The six people who are staying are: Ajan, Eric, Veronique, Elisabeth, Natalie and Camille. Each of us have arrived here one by one, at first just interested in helping out in the place, and then as we found that this lifestyle was for us, deciding to stay for longer. For part of the year we also have a couple of employees staying with us. There is also a wonderful dog named Dali. Our organic nursery and garden occupies a land of 9 hectares, surrounded by forest. As well as the main land of the nursery, we have another smaller land where a few of us live. This is, in fact, where the community started to grow from very small beginnings in the ear...

Hi there, We're looking for some help with our household over the next few months. We have a busy period with work and training coming up, so we'd love to have someone stay with us and assist with walking our dog, some light gardening and painting projects, and occasionally being an extra responsible pair of hands around the house with the kids when needed. The person staying would definitely have plenty of time for other employment too, so this could suit someone who is already working in Auckland or looking for work. Ideally, we'd love someone to stay for a month or longer, and we'd prefer a female or a couple. We live in the Morningside/Kingsland area, which is very central and has great shopping, cafes, pubs and bars. We're just a few minutes' walk from the train station and local bus routes. The bedroom is downstairs from our main living area and has its own ensuite and small kitchenette. There is separate external access to the room, as well as internal stairs connecting it ...

Sheep and chickens currently share our sweeping views of the Kaipara Harbour. We have numerous varieties of fruit trees, including a few exotic species, and large areas for vegetables and berries. We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We are looking for two people with building and practical experience with building or fencing, planting/gardening and who enjoy physical, mostly outdoor work. Our jobs require practical experience, or willingness to learn - gardening, cleaning, spraying, weed-eating, washing the house, windows etc. We don't currently have airbnb guests so you would get to stay in the luxury airbnb unless we get a booking, then you would either sleep in a sofa bed in the cabin or if you prefer your van and just use our shared spaces. We love hosting travelers and enjoy also getting jobs done on our list. With having 10 acres to care for, there is always something to do. We will give you food and accommodation in exchange for 4 hours of work. We love having first time helpers and help you map out your journey in the north or just help you get used to being in NZ. Chris loves playing games and we also have a hot tub. Most of the time we have a beautiful black Labrador called Kenai. We also h...

# 🌊 Welcome to Kumihama Bay, Kyoto 🇯🇵 Hello future volunteers, thank you so much for reading my page! We now have availability from the beginning of September onward and are looking for positive, responsible, and open-minded people who would enjoy authentic countryside life in Japan. This is a shared-life experience rather than a backpacker hostel or party environment. We live together in a quiet coastal area surrounded by nature, seafood farming, local culture, helping each other, and everyday Japanese life. We especially appreciate people who are independent, communicative, flexible, and comfortable contributing to daily life respectfully and cooperatively 😊 If you enjoy meaningful cultural exchange, nature, practical work, and connecting with both local Japanese people and international travelers, you may enjoy staying with us very much. Warm regards, Your future host, Atsushi Toyoshima 🙏 To everyone sending booking enquiries: If you apply more than three months in advanc...

In August, and September/October we still may have space for you! :) My husband and I are running a little market garden on his small family farm. We are in our sixth growing season, selling our produce in some weekly CSA (community supported agriculture) veggie boxes and the occasional market or organic shop. We have a passion for small scale farming and (self-)sustainability, trying to make as much as we can ourselves and with the love and care that our soil and our community (in garden and neighborhood) deserve. We are in our late 30s/early 40s and we share the farm with Markus´ parents, sometimes his 8-year-old son, our 3-year-old daughter, some chickens, ducks, goats (my passion project), and two cats. We are looking for help in the garden and/or around the farm (e.g. with the animals). As well as some natural building work (e.g. clay oven). Markus is a trained farmer as well as a skilled handyman and can teach you a lot, I have travelled a lot and have been a helper in various p...

Hello! Would you like to stay in a villa by the sea? I offer free accommodation in exchange for a few hours of help. The villa is located 15 minutes from Ajaccio. It has bedrooms with private bathrooms, a gym with a spa, a jacuzzi in a landscaped garden, large terraces and a swimming pool. The beaches are just a short walk away, with small coves and natural pools directly opposite the villa. The panoramic sea views and sunsets make the setting particularly idyllic. A transfer from the airport or port can be arranged depending on availability, during the daytime only (details available on request). The minimum stay is one week. Simply indicate your available dates in your request. The help mainly involves cleaning, cooking, garden maintenance or small painting jobs. It represents around four hours per day, with the option of grouping the work into one full day every other day. Welcome! Your choice: You can exchange two hours help a day for the room only, or you can work for 4 hours a day and we provide meals. We have a private spot close to town here, and are two friendly people, a little dog, and some chickens. Our quiet and green home is in easy and pleasant walking distance of Nelson city centre. It's like being in the country. There is also a bus just steps away, if you want to get into town quickly. This is a good mix - looking after trees, garden, house and each other; making music; preserving fruit, etc We - meaning us two, Ian and Eva - love WWOOFers who enjoy what we are doing, and want to be friendly and part of the family. Eva is a Homoeopath, Ian is an Engineer, we both love to sing, eat, and share good food, and have fun with friendly woofers. The house is surrounded by green hills, with some of Nelson's best bike tracks and walks right next to us. We love cooking and sharing meals. We can talk with you in English, French or German No Smo...

Hi everyone! We have a beautiful property a short walk/drive away from a gorgeous New Zealand beach. We live 45 minutes from Hamilton and 20-25 minutes from Raglan. Our area is very remote - we have some neighbours but there are no shops here or public transport, just farmland. So if you enjoy being away from cities and people then this is the place for you! Our property suits people who enjoy the outdoors and surfing, hiking, walking, animals, solitude. There is a beautiful mountain right by our house for hiking, great surfing and fishing in the area, and Raglan (a little over 20 minutes away) which is a vibrant and energetic little beach town with world famous surf. This exchange is for accommodation only. We have a cabin with a big bed and beautiful views of the farmland and mountain and sea. There is a kitchenette for you to keep and cook your own food. The bathroom is about 20 metres away from the cabin and it is a composting toilet with shower that does the job but is gravity-f...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

We are a couple who have bought a piece of land with a house in Mallorca, and we need a hand to help us renovate the house and take care of the garden. We already travelled a long journey but it's still a lot to be done . The big value we expect from the volunteers is the company and sharing memories. Also, we are people that in the past travel a lot, and we miss the cultural exchange. For daily task here are some examples: help with construction tasks, painting, gardening or cleaning the garden. We also have 2 chicken and a roaster. The house is in rustic area there is no public transport near by. So we can give you a ride or you can bike to the nearest village which is 3 km away, in the village you have access to bus and train station with good communication.

WELCOME TO PARADISE GLENORCHY! We are a busy couple working full time and needing help with our property. Based in the spot chosen by the original settling family in the area, we have a really well established garden that needs taming and some quirky buildings that need some TLC. Looking for hardy gardeners, handy DIYers and folks who are keen to just generally get stuck in. We have a great retro caravan, sleep out, outdoor kitchen and bathroom set up that's screaming out for someone, two friends or a couple to bring it to life. At this stage we a only provide breakfast, but could do lunch in some situations. We have heaps of freezer space and suggest you stock up on a few dinners, and drinks in Queenstown before you get here as the local shops are a bit pricey. Spark phone signal is limited to the end of the drive, OneNz works just fine. - free internet available. We recommend helpers have there own wheels, as we're 5km outside of Glenorchy. There is however a bike you can use if ...

We have an automotive country workshop, which we have closed down to retire and now we are about to tidy up and empty our. 32 years of bits and pieces - and memories. But we still look after our little farm, some sheep and some rabbits. We are always in need of a couple of helpful hands to support us during this time of dismantling and clearing out. A mature, non-smoking, self-organized person or couple, preferable not a vegetarian, to give us a hand with house and workshop tidy up, would be the best fit. Our daily routine starts with a breakfast at around 7.30am and then we feed all the animals, especially the hungry dogs and work starts at 8.30am. We expect about 4 hours work per day and we offer a nice room with a lovely warm bed, great meals, and a reasonable amount of WiFi. Help with dishes is not regarded as work though! We do enjoy a beer or a wine after work, but we have a NO DRUGS policy. We integrate our helpers like a family member and mostly have only one or a couple...

We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. If you have something you are passionate about and want to share with others, we would love for you to run a workshop. One of the best things here is the variety of tasks you can do as a volunteer, which gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and discover what you enjoy doing most. We have a combination of short-term and long-term volunteers and on average we have between 10 to 20 volunteers and resident...

We can have a couple or 2 friends that dont mind sharing We are a family-run flower farm growing a wide range of seasonal blooms including roses and lilies. Our flowers are harvested fresh and sold through our on-site farm shop, to local florists, and to wholesale customers, so the farm is always busy and changing with the seasons. As a HelpX helper you’ll be part of our small, hardworking team and experience genuine farm life. Work is hands-on and varies depending on the time of year, but can include picking flowers, bunching, cleaning and preparing blooms, tidying garden beds, weeding, general farm maintenance and helping keep things running smoothly. The work can be physical at times, but it’s rewarding and you’ll see the results of your effort straight away. This is not a resort or retreat — it’s a real working farm — but it’s a warm, friendly environment where helpers are appreciated and treated like part of the team. We value people who are reliable, positive, and willing to giv...

Hello helpers, I live with my now big youngest son in a beautiful village in the east of Holland, nearby Zutphen, a very old town on the river. There is farmland, woods, and water, very pretty and we have a big room with a little kitchen for guests facing an old-fashioned windmill. It's very nice for cycling, sports, hiking, swimming and so, or visiting nearby towns, Holland is very small. Summer is coming and with this my work on festivals and markets is starting to get very busy. I work popfestivals, fantasyfairs, Ibizamarkets, and so on. I'm selling clothing and jewelry. I like to have people help out a bit with the animals and house when I'm out for a couple of days or a week orso for work, or help with handy man and other jobs. But also ike to have people come with me who like festivals and who like to see many places in Holland, since it's all over Holland. Furthermore I 'm looking for a housesitter /petsitter after summer You cannot be here if you are depending on alco...

We are Greg and Claire, parents of a 15-month-old baby girl and a very active 10-year-old son. We are non-owner stewards of land that has a long history as a communal farm, held by the Renaissance Charitable Trust since 1977. Our work here is currently focused on forming intentional community, improving accommodation, and restoring the farm that has been let go for many years. All the labour and love that is given to this farm goes towards paying forward the gifts, knowledge, and generosity received from those who came before us and hopefully helping the intentional community become a lively thriving and truly special place. The Community Vision: We are here to create a cooperative way of life that interweaves people with land and one another. By regenerating a small, diverse, and long-neglected farm and by transforming our relationships with ourselves, others, and the land. We aspire to create deeply fulfilling lives for ourselves and a thriving, resilient community that can inspire ...

Start or finish your New Zealand adventure with us. AVAILABLE: 5 July 2026 We have the perfect location for you, whether you've just arrived and would rather prepare for your trip of a lifetime away from the city hostels and practice your english with locals or are about to leave and need to sell your vehicle. We're on State Highway 16, the alternate route north from Auckland, so we're an excellent choice if you're heading towards Cape Reinga or the Bay of Islands, or a stopping point on your way south again. We're about 40 minutes by car from downtown Auckland, meaning we're close enough to Auckland that you can get there if you want to. We're a family of six who try to live sustainably off our land. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

The rest of the time can be spent enjoying Lava’s large beach, the coves in front of the villa, the hiking trai...

The village Ahrbrück is in the middle of Germany nestled in the beautiful red wine region known as Ahrtal, a few train stations (*) away from Koeln and Bonn. The landscape here is very green and lush offering a variety of options for local tourism and recreation. I am a 55 years old traveller, who studied fruit farming, and keen on house building. I travel a lot in winter to other places in Europe mostly with caravan, I did couchsurfing and made in Portugal Wwoofing last years.

I have only recently moved back to the Farm. I grew up on this farm but has been away for a number of years and things need doing to get it back how I like it. I spend some time off farm but are flexible about work hours and/or pay. Work will be varied depending on skills but could include gardening, housework, maintenance around the farm, working with sheep or beef cattle or driving tractors. Crops raised include Wheat, Peas, Ryegrass Seed & Vegetable Seed crops. The farm also runs some Sheep & Cattle. Our helpers almost always leave with new skills which often include operating Quad Bikes and Tractors. At certain times of the year I can find paid work for you. I am easy going & well travelled, I like to enjoy life.I'm also a Couch Surfer host and like to meet people from elsewhere in the world. Interests include Mountain Biking, Fishing, Gardening, Self Sufficiency, Music, Travel, Camping & Hiking. The farm is close to Ashburton (8km) which has all services. Rivers, Recrea...

We have been fully vaccinated and will welcome helpers who have also been fully vaccinated. My niece and I have a scenic country home on two acres with spectacular views of rolling hills. There are excellent hiking and biking trails nearby, and beaches of Lake Simcoe are only 20 minutes away by car, one hour by bike. We will be happy to drive you there. Two bicycles and high speed WiFi is available. We have two dogs and two cats. We are located one hour north of Toronto - accessible by Go Transit to Newmarket, where we will pick you up. On your days off, we will gladly take you to Newmarket to catch the train/bus to Toronto. We can do the cooking but are happy to share the cooking, and will welcome any specialties you may have. We do not cook vegan or gluten free. If you are vegan or gluten free, then you should probably look for a different host. Also please note that this is also a no smoking, no vaping and no drugs home, and that you must have medical insurance for Canada, ...
