Welcome to our recently established language center nestled in Haiphong, where we offer English and IT classes at affordable rates, catering to individuals who seek educational opportunities beyond the reach of traditional centers in the city. Our diverse clientele includes university students, working professionals, and children of varying ages, including underprivileged youths from rural areas whom we empower through English education. Not merely a place of learning, our center doubles as a communal space where both local and international volunteers reside and collaborate. Local volunteers generously contribute their time by preparing meals and providing support during classes, ensuring a nurturing environment for both learners and volunteers alike. To join our mission, volunteers are required to commit to a minimum three-week stay in Haiphong, possess fluency in English, and possess some teaching experience. Our curriculum encompasses a range of proficiency levels, from absolute...

Volunteers wanted for Svarttorpet for spring-summer 2026! Do you want to spend time in the beautiful High Coast and help us with chores on the farm and with renovations? There are also two horses who would love some company and to go for walks in the forest. There will be a lot happening this year, so we need help with, among other things: - Painting the facades of two houses. - Raising the frame for an open shed/stable building (if you come in April–May). - Splitting firewood and hauling smaller, already felled trees. - Putting up electric fencing. - Weeding, mowing grass, scything. - Planting seedlings and potatoes. - Hiking with the horses (if you are experienced with horses). - Renovating windows. - Moving old hay and manure to a large compost. - Renovating walls in a storage building. Terms: 4 hours of work/day, 5 days/week in exchange for food and lodging. You will make your own breakfast and lunch with ingredients we provide if you come during periods when we are working, but ...

This is an acreage property which is situated on the Gold Coast just 8 min from the Pacific Hwy, on the opposite side of Pimpama. We have a couple of rooms with a bathroom and small kitchenette in the separate part of our new house. We are surrounded by nature (a lot of wildlife and bushwalking), but still a short distance from the amazing Gold Coast beaches. We will prefer to keep our helpers for a longer period of time, preferably 2 months plus. This accommodation is best suited for a single person or couples with driving licence and a car who can help us around the house and with some landscaping jobs. Thank you

Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM EARLY APRIL.. We are fully booked until then. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. You will live as part of the family - during your stay, our home will be your home. We are a married couple living on a property with our DOGS, HORSES and some elderly but treasured chickens. Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs. There are stunning views looking out over a Devon Wildlife Nature Reserve and beautiful countryside. We live in a very attractive rural area of Devon on the outskirts of a beautiful old village called DOLTON (please look on "Google Earth") about a 45 minute drive from Dartmoor National Park. The village has a very friendly and active community, a church, 2 excellent traditional pubs, a post off...

Urgent help for painting and garden :-) I have a small ecotourism guesthouse and traditional harbour dock house property in north Norway. This place is my grandparents heritage and it means alot to me, but it is also alot to take care of on my own :) I have made the place into a nice guesthouse to share it with others and be able to maintain the historical buildings. As spring now is starting I am looking for help to prepare for the summer season, especially during April and May. Maybe you are already somewhere near and can come in short notice? That would be great. This spring I have walls to paint, a garden to rescue, smaller building projects, wooden boats to prepare for outing, new rooms to make ready for guests and old rooms to reorganize and improve. I really enjoy this spring period and to do this work, but for the time we have, some help and a small team would be just wonderful. My guesthouse has the sweetest rooms and a nice summer café. We have very few guests in sp...

Transforming a summer house into a place for living organically. Now the winter of our discontent is ending, transformed into a glorious spring by this Galician sun; and ....sometimes, the clouds that darkened our home disappear into the deep heart of the flat lands.... So it's time to get to work in the garden and lay cement in some places. Some tasks (not all) can be somewhat boring such as cutting and stacking firewood, removing, digging, collecting vegetable remains,... I appreciate the dexterity in physical and manual works and you need to be fit and able to use your strength efficiently. Hi, I'm looking for creative minds efficient bodies who would like to get involved on an sustainable country house project, with some animals and plenty of work to do. There's a protected little forest surrounding the house with small wild animals, and 6 domestic geese, chickens, dogs and two cats. I need help with many things; work on the greenhouse which I have designed by myself, plant...

Hello. I’m Paolo, a recently retired musician. I live in a mountain area made of rounded, wooded peaks in the inland of the Italian Riviera, at the point of connection between two regions, Tuscany and Liguria, widely renown for art towns (Pisa, Lucca, Florence among others) and picturesque fishing villages. It’s a quiet setting to get away from it all, with a 360 degree view stretching for tens of miles and right down to the Mediterranean Sea, only 25 km/15 miles away. Here is where the Alta Via (High Route of the Ligurian Mountains) starts, a long-distance waymarked hiking trail for nature lovers. I speak Italian (native), English (fluent) and French (fluent). I’m looking for volunteers who are self-motivated and good with their hands, willing to help me with general maintenance around my property in exchange for food and lodging in a friendly environment. I appreciate a baggage of life experience that is not too small, so volunteers in their mid to late twenties at least and in t...

We love hosting travellers and enjoy also getting jobs done on our list. With having 10 acres to care for, there is always something to do. We will give you food and accommodation in exchange for 4 hours of work. We do airbnb our place and so if we have guests, we are all living in the two cabins, so you may decide to sleep in your van (if you have one) and just use the facilities or sleep on the sofa bed. We will make it work. It is important that you have your own vehicle as we are rural. We love having first time helpers and help you map out your journey in the north or just help you get used to being in NZ. Chris loves playing games and we also have a hot tub. Most of the time we have a beautiful black Labrador called Kenai. We also have a pool and a hot tub in the bush. We are located just over an hour north of Auckland at a beautiful town, Mangawhai, known for it's surf beaches, chocolates, cafes and golf. Hi there! My dad and uncle own a much too big house with a huge field in Sandl, somewhere between Munich, České Budějovice and Vienna. Because empty houses are silly, I moved there in October 2025. During my own travels, which started in 2016, I encountered a lot of hospitality all over the world and now is my time to return the favor. I'm fluent in English, (Austrian) German and Spanish and I'm always eager to learn/teach/share languages, knowledge or whatever. Main Jobs: It's hard to mention something specific here. If you like cooking, I'm happy to have a cook. If you like cleaning - well no one really likes cleaning. There is also plenty of work outside in the garden and the veggie patch And if that sounds very boring, you are welcome to invent your own task. For me it's important, that you find joy in what you are doing. Just get in touch and we can talk about expectations and intentions, preferably during some online video call. Please suggest a date, time and platform in ...

Hello! We are opening our countryside home in Calabria for tourists this year! We will need two volunteers who are happy to stay with my italian family in the south of Italy, we offer accomodation and meals. In the garden there are two very cute dogs :) We cook a lot, go to the beach and enjoy clean air! The house is 15 minutes driving from the beach and 15 minutes driving from mountains and hiking so I would recommend this experience to people with their own car, to be able to enjoy the place! We will require 3/ 4 hours maximum of work a day, that will be with gardening, decorating, cleaning and some general maintenance stuff. We are opening a house that have been closed for a while a make it as a touristic stay, so would love someone who loves staying with people and build a project/ repair things. Fun company is the priority! Ideally some one who would like to work in the day and have ideas for the garden and the house, go to the beach or mountain, and then enjoy staying with us at...

I love meeting people from all over the globe; sharing culture, knowledge and stories. Being a natural born New Zealander and having travelled extensively myself, I know exactly what it feels like to arrive in a new country far from home. I will make sure you feel welcome from the first moment you arrive, I treat everyone as i would like to be treated, with kindness, understanding and respect. Professionally, I've been involved in filmmaking Adventure Travel Documentaries, with my most recent work being for National Geographic, where we spent almost 1-year sailing and filming through the South and Central Pacific. The Tree House is a very bespoke home, featuring two 9-meter-high tree trunks in the lounge and a massive rock fireplace built from 1-tonne boulders. I have built this myself over the past 20-years. You will stay in one of the cosy cabins on the property, giving you a perfect retreat while still being fully part of the daily life here. The property offers stunning views o...

I am a wildlife carer and have fourteen wallabies in care and seven Torres Strait pigeons. We need help feeding these orphans and the other rescued and domestic animals. This includes cleaning pens, replacing pouches, washing pouches and bedding. Domestic animals include our 6 dogs, 2 horses, Peacocks, Guinea Fowl, Keats, 2 rescued pigs and chickens, ducks etc. A love for animals is a must. Also need help weeding and planting the vegetable garden. I am about to build some more enclosures. So building skills and or willingness to learn an advantage. In addition we expect help with setting the table, cleaning up after meals. Good WiFi. Not so good mobile coverage. Unless Telstra. 20 km from town so own transport an advantage. However, we can take you exploring the local area. Happy to send more information to potential helpers.

We would be delighted to host volunteers who would not mind helping us for a few hours with simple household tasks such as keeping the house tidy, cooking, watering the plants, and welcoming guests. Our guests are typically "alternative travellers" staying overnight, including Via Francigena pilgrims and members of communities like WarmShowers, BeWelcome, or CouchSurfing. We're expecting to host occasional cyclists and hikers until October-November. After that, things will go quieter here. We invite you to read updates, news, and availability on our activities on our blog via the link below. WHO WE ARE We are Milena and Simon (30/39 years old from Germany and Italy), and last year we finally realised our dream of buying a little house with a big garden in the northwest of Italy. We moved here last winter and started with renovation works on the house, and with the warmer temperatures, we are now moving our focus to the garden. A couple of years ago, we were both volunteering in ec...

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

A Calm, Welcoming Place to Live, Learn & Contribute in the old Coast Hinterland. We have a vacancy for 1 solo male traveller or one couple, from the 7th April (after Easter), preference given to helpers with with a vehicle. 2 week minimum stay (longer stays warmly welcomed) If you’re looking for a peaceful rural place where you’re treated as a valued part of the household — not just extra labour — you may feel very at home here. We are a friendly farming couple in our 60s, and we’ve lived on this beautiful property for over 30 years. We’re about 35 minutes from the beach, on the ocean side of Mt Tamborine. We’ve been hosting helpers since 1998, and many travellers who stay with us become like family — while they’re here and long after they’ve gone. We genuinely enjoy hosting and are very grateful for the wonderful helpers we’ve met over the years. 🌱 What Life Is Like Here Life on our farm is calm, grounded and collaborative. Days are varied, meals are shared, and there’s time...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

Just a peaceful place that needs some t.l.c. every once and a while, like gardening, creating and cleaning, cooking depending on the weather. Were a couple and we love to hear about what's happening in the world, from different perspectives.. Were not traveling at present, so this is the next best thing.... having someone in a tiny home, helping, sharing and learning. . .. I love dancing, music, and arts which is included in our home environment. Riding motor bikes, or a little game of table tennis, creating trails, riding on the bicycle trails, hiking, swimming, & watching sun sets. Never boring around here for me, I am in the process of becoming more self sufficient, planted many trees. Created gardens, wanting someone who loves being in nature, needs/wants growing time on there own. I want a caretaker of the land. Also sharing together, I'm going to school this coming year for Feldenkrais (ATM) so I want some one who wants to explore in the back yard of dirt. The more alive our...

Hello, thank you for looking at our listing. After a little break from hosting we're looking for helpers for April - October 2026. We are Cathy (47) and Leo (who is 14 years old.) We live in a lovely, but messy little cottage in a very beautiful glen. We are semi-off-grid and at the moment there's several issues with the plumbing so please do not apply if you need a daily hot shower! We like to have several helpers so friends are welcome to apply, alternatively we are happy to take single travellers - but please be aware you may need to share a sleeping area with other helpers (who we will ensure are the same sex and similar age to you.) The accommodation is extremely basic, the house is in disarray and I currently resemble a headless chicken for much of the day! Only apply if you are comfortable with untidiness and disorder. However, despite this you will have fun, be well fed and happy. The gardens and surrounding countryside are beautiful and peaceful, so escaping the crazines...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around.

Our family runs a western riding facility with 30 stalls, where we provide horse boarding and training, including reining and cow work. We also have a western saloon, where we host weddings, special events, and are open for our club members on weekends. In return for cleaning out stalls and feeding horses (and the odd other job), we offer room and board, sorry we cannot host vegetarians; we include you in family activities and you have the possibility to improve your riding skills in western riding (cow work and reining) in our 30 x 60 m arena and - how about -learning some line dancing!! A bicycle is available, if you want to explore the near surroundings. We are located close to Switzerland, it`s about a 15 minutes car ride to Basle, and also only about 20 minutes to Germany. Our area is a great tourist region. If you are mature, fit and self-motivated, willing to stay for a minimum of 2 weeks, experienced with handling horses, we would be happy to hear from you!

Our Ecovillage ( established1999) is looking towards a creative and fun season of committed volunteers who wish to work within a collective project opportunity. We are working on the next 25yr Vision and with this are building a very large public art installation project (earthen/cob Dragon sculpture with lots of mosaic work!). Our 'regenerative living learning journey' forms the platform for the efforts we put towards making a difference in the world. We work within intercultural/intergenerational/interfaith/inter-nation restorative justice framework on our farm and work with research teams on soil/wastewater/energy systems design/etc, and permaculture education projects with learners from local to global! This means we are working with: the gardens, livestock/poultry, food forests, natural building (earthen, strawbale, plaster projects, finishing work, carpentry, etc), food preservation, yummy kitchen crafting for shared meals, mosaic and mural artwork, supporting Eco-tourism ...

We have a couple of rooms with a bathroom and small kitchenette in the separate part of our new house. We are surrounded by nature (a lot of wildlife and bushwalking), but still a short distance from the amazing Gold Coast beaches.

Our current jobs are weeding, gardening, washing the hous...

There is a mountain on my farm with lots of tracks to w...

We are looking for a couple or two friends to stay for a couple of weeks or more if agreed. We are maintaining our property for sale and we need to keep in condition. There is work removing trees, tidying up the garden and removing debris from the fires and recent storms. There is also cleaning work helping Cate with property management. During free time you are welcome to borrow our electric scooters and go swimming and exploring. We live in Mallacoota, one of Australia's most beautiful places on the southeast coast. It is a World Biosphere Reserve in the middle of the Croajingolong National Park next to the ocean with an estuarine lake system and many, many beaches. We are 2km from the town centre and 3km from the nearest beach. There are about seven magnificent beaches within 10km of us. Mallacoota is 540km from Melbourne, 630km from Sydney and 360km from Canberra with limited access via public transport so keep that in mind when planning your schedule. Our family includes M...
