We are offering travelers a warm, comfortable two-story Celery Top Pine Pole home we built ourself. You will enjoy magical views of the ocean and mountain and will wake to the sounds of the wild birds that flock to our food and water bowls. We are regularly visited by possums, wallaby's and various other wildlife. If you're lucky you may even see a Tasmanian Devil. We aspire to a sustainable way of living and adore our large established organic garden, which we are needing help with maintaining. We ask helpers to provide a minimum of 4.5 hrs of work each day for 5 days with two full days off. If you would like a day off after working a few days we ask you to make up the hours on other days. Some helpers also purchase their own food and only work 2.5 hours a day if this suits you better. We are also very flexible and happy to listen to your requests. Previous gardening experience is essential as well as cooking/helping with evening meals, household duties, and other jobs as required...

Hi! We are a young couple, 25 and 26 years old, living on a sheep farm in the beautiful Reykhólasveit area in Westfjords Iceland. We have 450 sheep, 3 dogs, and 3 cats. We also take care of an eider duck colony. During the summer, the colony needs to be checked twice, and the eiderdown has to be collected, weighed, and taken for cleaning. A typical winter day involves feeding the sheep and making sure everything is running smoothly. There are always plenty of tasks to be done, both planned and unexpected. Spring is lambing season, which means we're on call 24/7. Tasks include monitoring the sheep, assisting with births when needed, cleaning, bottle-feeding lambs, tagging them, and eventually turning them out to pasture. You don't need to know how to do everything—we're happy to teach. What matters most is a genuine interest and a willingness to learn. Summer is haymaking season, along with a variety of general farm tasks and maintenance work. In the fall, the sheep are gathered fr...

We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between now and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . Travelers should choose my place because it offers a calm, friendly, and comfortable home in the Dublin Suburbs 10 minute train ride to City Centre. You’ll be surrounded by plants, nature, and good company 🌿. The tasks are light and relaxed. You’ll also learn practical gardening tips and horticultural knowledge in a cozy, welcoming environment. It’s an ideal place for volunteers who enjoy peaceful living, meaningful conversations, and a warm home atmosphere. I am a well organized and responsible person. Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

Dear Friendly People, My name is Böbe and I'm a Dutch and English speaking Hungarian teacher. I moved from Hungary to Spain with my 2 dogs and 5 cats on the 23rd May, 2025. Forever. Today, on the 21st April, 2026 one of my cats, Bandita past away. He was 14 years old. I left my home country because without helpers I couldn't manage that big farm of 1.5 Ha. In place of that ranch I bought 2 small apartments for renting. We're living in a very peaceful area of San Miguel de Salinas, its name is "Comunicationes". Almost nothing to do if you want to find entertaining. The main part of San Miguel de Salinas is about 2.5 km. I find a way to entertain myself: I walk at least 5km a day with my dogs in the forest nearby. And sometimes walk to a castle- restaurant about 2.5 km far from home. We can offer: an independent apartment on the ground floor. If the weather is good, swimming in the pool. I can teach you for some handicrafts. And we can make some ornaments from natural things, ...

This beautiful, 2.5 hectare garden, set in the heart of Haute-Normandie Pays de Caux near the English Channel and whose light inspired the Impressionist movement, which can be loosely translated as an Arthouse garden. This is not a run of the mill HelpX destination. There is a real opportunity to learn and have a totally unique experience while staying in the 17th century Priory in the centre of the garden. Cécile, the gardening artist or artistic gardener (she conforms to both), welcomes you to join her in this artistic gardening adventure. Previous experience of gardening and some basic French are welcome but not essential as Cecile can get by in English, Spanish and German and will teach you all you need to know; the work, of course, changes with the seasons and can be a variety of brute force and delicate sensitivity but never forgetting that this is an artistic adventure and is open to the public. Join our peaceful meditation centre set in 70 acres of woodland and gardens, overlooking the beautiful Morecambe Bay, in the Lake District. We are a friendly, international community run entirely by volunteers, offering a unique opportunity to experience a simple, meaningful way of life inspired by Buddhist values — even if you have no previous experience. Life here is a balance between contributing, relaxing, and connecting with others. Many volunteers say they come for a short stay and end up wishing they could stay longer. What your experience will be like A typical day might include: Helping in the café or kitchen Preparing guest rooms for retreat visitors Gardening or maintaining the grounds Supporting creative or renovation projects You’ll usually help 5 days a week, with 2 days off to explore the Lake District, walk by the sea, or simply relax. There is plenty of free time, and you are always welcome to join our meditation classes, evening teachings, and weekend courses ...

🏔️ Help Wanted: Alpine Farm Restoration & Lambing Season! Location: Lower Austria (Rax Mountain/Schneeberg area) Vibe: International, hard-working, family-oriented, and authentic. For us, the exchange is a two-way street. We want to learn from our guests as much as they learn from us, creating memories through shared meals and conversations. We are a pretty colourful bunch of nice people composed of an austrian and a middle east family and long standing international friends. Actually living here permanently: Feri (1982), Lise (1975) and the children Layla (2013) and Aisha (2015) and other family members are coming regularly to see us to enjoy the time together and preparing a mix of delicious oriental-european-food!

* Summer 2026. Bed and Breakfast - Bio/Organic Vineyard. Dave & Brandy (my dog). Vineyard & Small Bed & Breakfast with two (2) rooms for guests. * Help always needed also at the Swiss Tattoo Museum. Dave loves to cook and the BnB thrives on his cooking skills, website reviews and best of all word of mouth! Also known as "Dave Cuvee" to guests and social friends, creating quality, delicious meals with love and passion is my destination. Most helpers leave here with extra kg, I am not talking about extra carry luggage ;-) Brandy is a female Hungarian Vizsla born October 2013. She is in training to search for truffles in the local forests. Brandy is a middle size dog weighing ca. 19kg and is very active. She is very intelligent, playful and uber friendly to everyone she has contact with. Brandy is being trained and fed by Dave, but she requires walks and exercise when Dave is at work. You should be a very dog friendly person. Dave speaks fluent English and Swiss German (20+ years...

We have a self built off grid house in the forest. The surrounding habitat reserve consists of 1000ha of varied forest types and habitat, heaps of birds, wildlife and bushwalks. We are 10 minutes from Huonville and about 50 minutes south from Hobart. We provide Helpers with their own guest room. You share our living and kitchen. Note that the guest room has almost no heating so can be cold in winter, but we supply plenty of warm bedding. Helpers become part of our household and we generally spend the evenings together as well as the work periods. The help involves a mix of: - Assisting with installation, maintenance, renovations, minor repairs of our off grid house and equipment. - Assist with walking track construction. - Maintenance of sustainable facilities such as electrical, water collection and storage, waste water processing and disposal - Maybe some construction or maintenance at our eco-tourism property nearby - Other varied stuff that you might be suited to or want to lea...

We live in a nature sanctuary on Corfu island in Greece. we are a COMMUNITY of PLANTS, ANIMALS AND HUMAN BEINGS, who try to live together IN THE SPIRIT OF NATURE. we are organized similar to a zen monastery. yet we are not affiliated to any religious body, but to the holy body of our mother earth. the earth takes care of us. the earth gives to us what we need. she gives us and she for-gives us – she never asks for money… we admire the communities in nature (ecosystems), where all members balance their needs and gifts in a healthy way, without money, without machines and without chemicals. here in NATURE’S SANCTUARY we try to live in harmony with nature. we try to support and protect all our nature brothers and sisters, who share this sanctuary with us… it is a CHALLENGE TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE. it is a challenge to protect and support all nature beings in a way, that they have the chance to live in their own natural born communities. we are looking for people, who want to take...

We are a multi-generational, multi-cultural family living on a peaceful rural property just outside Dundalk, overlooking Dundalk Bay with the Cooley Mountains with its forests and walks behind us. It’s quiet and natural, but still close to town, with a local pub a short walk down the lane. We share the space with two friendly dogs and enjoy a simple, outdoors-based way of life (hiking, cycling, kayaking). Professionally we are a primary teacher, an organisational and leadership development consultant, a retired fashion designer, and a final-year school student. We rennovated our own house while camping on the property. You’ll be staying in a designer-renovated mobile home set apart from the main house, so it feels private and quiet, surrounded by fields. It’s been thoughtfully redone and is very comfortable, with Wi-Fi, a TV, a complete kitchen, and an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Kia ora, we extend a warm invitation to host a physically strong, fit and capable couple for approximatelly a week up until 18 June, and/or from 25 June. Our home is nestled in semi-rural Paremoremo, a mere 10-minute drive from central Albany on Auckland’s North Shore. This area is full of serene natural beauty, enveloped by lush vegetation, and great views of the upper harbour. We are lucky to have an abundance of native birdlife which we marvel at every day. Paremoremo is only about 20 minutes drive away from beautiful white-sand East Coast beaches, which are good for swimming and also sometimes have great surf. Additionally are within an hour's reach of the rugged Waitakere bush ranges and the distinctive black-sand beaches of the West Coast, which offer regular awesome opportunities for surfing and day treks. We are both around 60 so we are slowing down and need help but still very young at heart! Russell has a full-time role as a Project Manager and is keen to help you get star...

We can have a couple or 2 friends that dont mind sharing We are a family-run flower farm growing a wide range of seasonal blooms including roses and lilies. Our flowers are harvested fresh and sold through our on-site farm shop, to local florists, and to wholesale customers, so the farm is always busy and changing with the seasons. As a HelpX helper you’ll be part of our small, hardworking team and experience genuine farm life. Work is hands-on and varies depending on the time of year, but can include picking flowers, bunching, cleaning and preparing blooms, tidying garden beds, weeding, general farm maintenance and helping keep things running smoothly. The work can be physical at times, but it’s rewarding and you’ll see the results of your effort straight away. This is not a resort or retreat — it’s a real working farm — but it’s a warm, friendly environment where helpers are appreciated and treated like part of the team. We value people who are reliable, positive, and willing to giv...

Our family runs a western riding facility with 30 stalls, where we provide horse boarding and training, including reining and cow work. We also have a western saloon, where we host weddings, special events, and are open for our club members on weekends. In return for cleaning out stalls and feeding horses (and the odd other job), we offer room and board, sorry we cannot host vegetarians; we include you in family activities and you have the possibility to improve your riding skills in western riding (cow work and reining) in our 30 x 60 m arena and - how about -learning some line dancing!! A bicycle is available, if you want to explore the near surroundings. We are located close to Switzerland, it`s about a 15 minutes car ride to Basle, and also only about 20 minutes to Germany. Our area is a great tourist region. If you are mature, fit and self-motivated, willing to stay for a minimum of 2 weeks, experienced with handling horses, we would be happy to hear from you!

The city of Coffs harbours is just 30 minutes away. Situated half way between Sydney and Brisbane. I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site.
