Kia Ora. I run an Angora goat farm just outside Oxford in North Canterbury. I have 180 very cute goats which I shear for fibre twice per year. I also farm sheep and cattle. I farm in a sustainable way and have been trialling some regenerative agricultural practices. I am a keen outdoors person, love walking and climbing and often take helpers tramping, sightseeing, rock climbing or even rafting! I am looking for helpers from mid April 2026. Jobs include farm work, gardening, housekeeping, servicing and cleaning my AirBnB and learning about our farming systems. You would have your own room and receive all your food in return for 4-5 hours work per day. Those are the typical Helpx conditions. There are usually other Helpxers at the farm and we work, eat and live as a family , sharing housework and cooking tasks. I look forward to welcoming you to the farm!

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

My daughter is the only child growing up here (there is now a new family woth 2 other children), I would like to resume activities within the collective and I am looking for someone who wants to babysit (4 or 5 half days when you want except the Thursday) my 2 yearold daughter (at this time) 🙂 We live in a group, so we eat together, we organize the weeks together, we often have evenings together. But only if we want. Everyone has their own personal space too. We can make music, play board games, go for walks, go to the village, take care of the animals (sheep, chickens, geese, ducks, dog, cat, duck)... I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Most work here is of the off-season Autumn/Winter kind. And over the summer our variable schedules mean it is often not feasible to plan hosting Helpx people too far in advance. CURRENT JOBS are all outdoors - Help redraw and remake a grass labyrinth. Clear overgrown steps and pathways. Cutting down overgrown gorse/furze/whins. Cutting back emerging briars Help make a little landing stage on the shore. Clearing around trees. Collect fallen and pruned branches from garden Use chop saw to cut up firewood. Some indoor wall painting. There is also the possibility of minding, feeding and walking 2 dogs if I go away for a night or two. There may be some harvesting of fruits, nuts and acorns. There is a small vegetable plot that may need some care. I have spent over 25 years turning my 1.3 coastal and exposed acres into woodland and varied habitats. I now need some Autumn/Winter/Spring help with various seasonal jobs as they arise. Where possible, I would be mostly working alongside and...

Our holding overlooks the Burren region of Co Clare. Miriam has an extensive horticultural garden and is a Knitwear designer for a living . Robin is a beekeeper. We also have a small flock of sheep and three dogs. We both sell our goods in the Galway city St Nicholas market. Helpers get their own room in the house. Right now we could use help with planting trees.

We open the house and gardens as a requirement of the Irish State for a period of the year; to accommodate day visitors we offer access to the garden, woodland, house and run a weekend tea room to provide refreshments We also have two elderly dogs who occasionally require minding. The type of skills we find useful, general DIY, hospitality experience, use of garden equipment. We generally ask the helper to offer 3.5 days per week (max 27 hours) with 3.5 full days off. In exchange we offer accommodation (private room with shared bathroom shared with one other person) and an allowance. We all tend to congregate in the kitc...

This is ideal for people who would enjoy the social and cultural buzz of the city within easy walking distance, while also being close to two charming harbour beaches and some great walks. It’s a good arrangement for you if you value your own private space whenever you want it, but also enjoy a stimulating environment. Our comfortable inner city 117year old Victorian villa is a two minute walk to Ponsonby Road. Accommodation is self-contained, and our HelpXers have invariably found it to be an ideal arrangement (see guest room photos). You have your own separate entrance, private garden balcony, generous double bed, kitchenette with microwave, hot plate, toaster and small fridge, dining table/desk, laundry machine and ensuite bathroom/toilet. Free wi-fi (within reason!) Because we’re on an unusually wide section for a city house, we've developed the outdoor space into various "rooms", including a viewing platform in one of our higher trees (ideal for reading or dreaming on a dr...

Hi everyone! Welcome :) I live in a small and old saxon village (UNESCO Herigate Site) called Copsa Mare, in the heart of Transylvania. I live in a very simple and relaxed way, trying to be in harmony with nature in my small but cozy house. I make hand made products out of wool (felt), such as shoes, hats, bags, carpets, etc. When the weather allows, I will need from my volunteers to help me in my garden with work such as, picking fruits, planting new vegetables and fixing fences.I have some medical problems in the backbone, so I can not get things up. A good help would be the one who likes physical work to. And when the weather is not that comfortable to work outside I will need some help inside, like working with the wool. Better if you have experience with this, but if not, I am more than happy to teach you this lovely art. And during all 4 seasons I will need help with general tasks like cutting wood, feeding the chickens and ducks, and some possible renovation works in the house...

Hi we need help from end May onwards . Looking for helpers wanting to stay 2weeks or possibly longer but we will consider shorter stays so do get in touch! Also looking for helpers wanting longer term. Someone with housekeeping experience is best for us but really anyone who is happy to help and likes cleaning 🙃 We are a family of 4, myself and my hubby and our two young daughters. We need daily help with housekeeping, cleaning and some occasional gardening (with me or my hubby so no gardening experience needed). Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

We are a family run home, perfect for the 1st time volunteer. Natural horsemanship is a real factor here if you want to learn more. Our mentors being Buck Brannaman, Steve Halfpenny and Ken Falkner. A safe environment for your 1st time away from home. You do not need any knowledge of horses but you do need to love dogs, they are a major part of the family and are constantly with us all 8 of them, dalmations, vizslas and 2 weimararners, and they do jump all over you. Constant appaloosas is a small holding where we breed and train horses for ourselves and occasionally others. We have help exchange programs running throughout the year for interested students of all ages. Vet students get a really good grounding here. What we expect from you, conduct yourself in an open and friendly manner, engage in all aspects of life on the farm and seize all opportunities with enthusiasm, avoid rude and disrespectful behaviour to people horses and dogs. Basically show respect to people and our home,...

Our “hacienda” was founded in 1995. Initially, it was just a converted farmhouse with a donkey stable. Five years ago, a horse stable with three horses was added. For almost two years now, there has been a small comprehensive school next to the stable. Our horse pensioners had a lot of bad luck at the beginning of the year. Due to illness and a fatal fall, the two ladies are extremely limited in their stable and horse care duties. But spring is just around the corner and there is a lot to do in the garden, the fruit orchard, and on the farm. This includes maintaining the paddock, the paddock trail, and the fence. The fruit trees and hedges around the farm also need to be pruned. Our three horses, the donkey, and our dog are always present during all the work and do their best to be involved. ;-) Please write to us if you have any questions. We look forward to getting to know you.

Hi! I'm looking for someone who can do some domestic repairs and minor renovations at home. It would also be great to have someone with electrical skills, an electrician by trade would be great! You'll be working 2,5 hours a day (Monday to Friday) in exchange for accommodation and breakfast. You will have your own private bedroom, linen provided, access to laundry, etc. Grocery stores and a big supermarket nearby. My flat is in a quiet neighbourhood near the mountain but only 15 min. from downtown. Smoking or heavy drinking not allowed in the flat, but occasional light drinking is no problem. As for the work, you can organize it as you like: work a little every day or maybe you want to work full time and then have the rest of the days off so you may have plenty of time to explore the city and surroundings. There's a lot to do and see in Barcelona and I want you to enjoy your time here. I am very flexible and quite laid back, but the work must be done. If you're travelling in...

Our farm is in the mountains of Lares, a rural region in the center of the Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico. A town well known for the rebellion insurgency called "El Grito de Lares", also well known for the coffee plantations and the culinary festivities. Lares has great rivers, beautiful sceneries and nice climate. In this great countryside we manage an agricultural, educational and community project, Proyecto AgroecolĂłgico Campesino/PAC. Our mission has been to produce food in a sustainable way, facilitate a practical learning farm for students and share knowledge with the community. For this we work in the transformation of two acres, in an integral farm where combines crop production, animal husbandry, resource management, restoration of soil and ecosystems, inspired by the agroecological principles. We invite you to join us on our every day activities to build a sustainable farm and to share knowledge and experiences. The accommodation includes a private room with kitchen, bat...

We live a simple but calm lush tropical Darwin suburban house, right near the beach, a corner shop, and a few hundred metres from buses that take 10 or 15 minutes to the city. There is are vibrant weekend Asian food markets on the weekends close by. We normally prefer people to stay for 5 days to a week. We are open to longer stays as well . There is unlimited wireless internet and a big new pool to cool off in . Our attitude is relaxed and easy-going but lifestyle is quite varied with busy periods, so guests need to be fairly flexible and self-sufficient, able to cook their own meals, etc if needed, and have few demands. We generally go to bed reasonably early as we have two children. We offer our hospitality in exchange for 4 hours work per day with meals, dishes, housecleaning, gardening, house repairs, painting, etc to assist us in getting things done. Come and check out Darwin!

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Not much work to do here now, so I mostly only take 1 person at a time. Not the place just to get a free room.for a while, but also not the place if you get bored easily You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Rang...

10 of us live in a collective in the countryside in an old farm. We do art, events, arts and crafts, gardening. It's in the countryside, in the hills, it's beautiful :) The nearest store is a 20-minute walk away, 5 minutes by bike (I lend you the bike!) You will sleep in the brand new dormitory (6 people max in the dormitory) or maybe have a room. Here, you will learn to live in a...

Charles and Lisa Hamilton are the owners and live here with their dogs and Maynooth students or volunteering help. We need help each year particularly Spring to mid Autumn to cut the gardens back and prepare the grounds after the Winter.

I live in an old farm and farmhouse in Normandy. I have converted a cottage into a holiday cottage with 4 bedrooms (all en suite) and one barn into another. I also had a Yurt (now gone but the pictures are still there !!) and a campsite. With the guest-accommodation, farm and further buildings to be converted, I could always do with an extra pair of hands. Skills can range from building, painting, cleaning, farming and general maintenance. Someone with a sense of humour would be great. I enjoy music so you may find all sorts playing, from classical to Genesis, Roxy Music to London Grammar! Current projects (weather dependent) include: 1. tidying toolshed 2. move garden shed I offer accommodation and meals included in return for help normally 5 days a week. After a week I'm happy to give a day tour of the battlefields ... Phone number (what's app) available on request. Easy to find and get to .. .By train leave Paris at the Gare de St Lazare for Cherbourg. Get off at Lison st...

Overall you need to be enthusiastic, motivated and use your initiative. We will provide everything so you will be happy and can enjoy your time here. Its a great place!!! Visiting Pembrokeshire and in particular staying here would suit people who enjoy the outdoors, nature, hiking, water sports etc. There is so much to do in the surrounding area.
