Looking for a lovely volunteer(s) to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM early October. We are fully booked until then. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. You will live as part of the family - during your stay, our home will be your home. We are a married couple living on a property with our DOGS, HORSES and an elderly but treasured chicken. Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs. There are stunning views looking out over a Devon Wildlife Nature Reserve and beautiful countryside. We live in a very attractive rural area of Devon on the outskirts of a beautiful old village called DOLTON (please look on "Google Maps") about a 45 minute drive from Dartmoor National Park. The village has a very friendly and active community, a church, 2 excellent traditional pubs, a post off...

Hei, here is Monica and Mario During the pandemic our life changed radically and we are now living in the beautiful island of Skrova, most known as Lofoten's Little Hawaii!! Monica is from Portugal, 35 years old and Mario from USA (half Norwegian/Sicilian....) 34 years old. The atmosphere on the island is very relaxed and friendly! It's a small island and since we are the only cafe/restaurant, give us the oportunity to have a very strong conection with the local comunity. Volunteers that stay with us have the oportunity to meet and get close to locals and local life. We we like to go for walks, kayaking, paddle boarding, spend time in nature, eat some nice food (Mario is a great cook) and have some chats with a glass of red wine (preference under the shy Norwegian Sun ;) oh and we loooove to use the sauna!!! ;) We have various projects going on: - A little guesthouse with 15 rooms - a local cafe/restaurant, set in a beautiful 200 years old building - Our house: small tasks around ...

Me and my friends live in neighbouring fields in the beautiful beach village of Mirtos. We are Katerine, Marco and Yvonne. We can also communicate in Greek but it isn't on the language list!!!! :-) September-October only for campers (in our caravan, a tent or your own van) (see below) We have different projects that we are looking to guide volunteers and helpers with, depending on which season we are. From September/ October on we'll mainly do gardening work and house building. In November we'll do additionally the olive harvest. We are building a small pallet-clay-straw house which will be my home here. From September/ October on we'll go on to plaster the house with clay/lime and do other things in the house. Also we'll do some gardening work: the plan is to create a beautiful, permaculture based oasis around the pallet house. This needs some work, since the field lied fallow for a long time. We are happy for ideas and helpers! Also there is always work on our fields like pruning, ...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

Hi, I'm Steve, I am a retired old fart at 65 and live alone, except for regular travelers I host. I live close the Strand (Beach) in Townsville in a 2 bedroom unit. I can offer you a king size bed in your own room. I used to be an active couchsurfing host but have given that away as i don't like the changes they have made to the way they operate now, nor the quality of surfers. I'm pretty open minded and I don't judge people. There is no work required here, just help keep the place clean and tidy. I prefer to share the evening meals as though it is your own home. I don't operate my home as a hostel and I am used to having people in my home, and it's a fairly relaxed environment. Basically I would just like you to come into my home and be a part of it and don't shit on the floor. The last few Helpers have become flatmates after a couple of weeks. The current helper has been here for 6 months and starts travelling very soon. The one before her was here 2 years. I am looking for a suita...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. We do need help for all the different works, e.g. clearing the ground, cutting, potting plants. Work with plants, walking dogs, feeding chicken. We normally ask for help in the mornings, so most afternoons are free time for the helpers. As a helper you should like to spend some free time by your own and you can use our bikes to go around. Right now we need help with the plants, beside keeping the pots clean, weeding and potting. And we need help in taking care of the whole plot, sometimes we also need somebody help us with painting or cleaning. The accommodation for a helper will always be together with a bathroom, depending of the time of the year, it will be a guest-room or a caravan. We do live 8 km away from the next beach and we can offer a bike to get there. Our farm is situated near Faro Airport. If you like to work outside, nature and animals and if you also can enjoy free time for yourself, please contact us. We prefer now one helper with driving license and willing to d...

Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

🌿 French–Kiwi family near Auckland, beach lifestyle & home projects We’re a French–Kiwi family of three , with our 7 year-old son and two cats — living just 30 minutes north of Auckland and only a 1-minute walk from a beautiful beach. 🌊 Over the last 3 years, we’ve welcomed several French woofers into our home, and we’ve had some really great experiences and made some lovely connections. 🇫🇷❤️ We’ve now finished the big renovation work on our house, but there are still plenty of little finishing touches to do and, as always, a garden and a home to maintain. 🌿🏡 🛠 What we need help with • Gardening and outdoor maintenance • Small painting and finishing jobs • Organising, tidying and general help around the house • A bit of DIY and whatever needs doing at the time We both work, so during the day the house is generally quiet and you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the area, the beach or do your own thing. We’re usually bacj on the afternoon, so we can then share a nice meal, ...

You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores.

Must be non-smoker and we find that feeding vegans is difficult. Please note. If you want to practice your English, then we are your ideal hosts a...
