Hi, I’m Annie :) Thanks for stopping by! Looking for help *** from now through February, 1 wk - 10 days work for a couple *** At the moment I'm looking for help with Spring cleaning in the house and garden work; mulching, light pruning, fertlising, tidying up garden and some indoor/ outdoor house work. Mostly this would be cleaning spider webs off gutters, garden maintenance and window/ blind cleaning, cleaning out pantry, kitchen cupboards, cleaning oven, etc. It would be useful is someone was confident with a drill and some very basic carpentry work, to hang some outdoor ornaments. I'm sorry but I can't help with 2nd Year Work Visas. I usually invite Helpers for 1 week and see how it goes. Own vehicle required. My home is in Dunsborough, part of the famous Margaret River Wine region in the South-West of Western Australia. Dunsborough is a beautiful, quiet coastal town, with great facilities. Nearby are wild oceans and awesome surf, sleepy bays, beautiful wineries and restaur...

Living in Kyoto, Japan, we are a warm and welcoming family of three who enjoy sharing daily life with people from different cultures. We are looking for a volunteer who would like to join our family. Our hope is for our 6-year-old son to learn English and explore the world through fun, natural conversations and play. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and can be like a big sister to him, caring for him with kindness and respect. He is very energetic and loves to talk. If you enjoy playing Minecraft or Mario Kart on the Nintendo Switch, you’ll quickly become good friends with him. We are looking for help with playing with our son and light household tasks. Although I haven’t used this platform since registering, I have hosted many volunteers through another platform. We are still in good contact with them and we maintain positive relationships. We sincerely hope this stay will be relaxing, enjoyable, and a meaningful cultural exchange for ever...

Hi there everyone, I am Mark and we are looking for people to help with our on-going farm project (based on a permaculture ideas): Working on our water system, in the fields and garden, fruit trees, looking after the sheep, ducks and chickens, our on going alternative energy source, and now just starting on the communal and private spaces that are to be rebuilt. etc...... We also work at local events with lights, electrics, compost toilet rentals and generally helping out, from the local may-poll dance to concerts and working in the theatre. The Key Word the Discribes the Farm is "Autonomy" (i feel that autonomous people can come together to create community) We are all individual cells in a greater growing expanding living organism called humanity, that is slowly coming to recognise itself as a whole and no longer separate and alone. Please note: for high maintenance people this is not for you. Be prepared for OFF-GRID in nature experience ! A Quick Note: The shower ...

Hi you young and beautiful travelers, Bundaberg is a less known touristic town, with a mild climate, beautiful beaches and wonderful surroundings. It is also an agricultural country town with many backpackers hostels . With a bit of lack there might be opportunities for paid work on a farm. It’s only 350km north of Brisbane and easily reachable by train. My home is only a few minutes drive from the town center, yet secluded and peaceful, sitting on 2.5 acres. I am looking for people who would like to visit this promising coastal town and help with general house and backyard maintenance, around 4 -5 hours a day, 6 days a week. The person helping me will have a home away from home and a cosy room to rest in. I am hoping he/she will treat the place with respect and consideration, observing the few requirements related to the use of bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise, regretfully, we will have to part ways sooner then expected. A good home cooked meal and an occasional glass of wine is...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

We are a small homestead with gardens and animals with a surface of 3.000 square meters. We cultivate fruit (about 25 trees: orange, mandarine, apple, almond, olive, etc), and vegetables. We have a lot of chicken (about 80) as well as a few cats (10) and dogs (3) running around. Other than that we try to produce a few organic products such as tomato sauce, dried tomatoes, and figs and make our own olives. I will have a surgery in mid April and I will be away for about 4-5 weeks. For the time of my absence, I am looking for one single or two (couple or friends) reliable people who would like to stay with us and offer their support. Ideally, you would arrive about one week before my departure, so I can show you everything and explain all routines in detail. The main focus is on the loving care of our dogs and other animals, as well as a few small daily tasks. My husband will be here, but he is very busy with fishing ,so your help would be a great relief for him. We are happy to rece...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

In late February or early March 2026, I would like to offer accommodation for up to a week (longer stays to be negotiated) and food in exchange for 3-4 hours work per day: general maintenance, carpentry, painting, gardening, minor repairs, cleaning and possibly pet sitting my little dog. Helping times are very flexible. The room is airy and comfortable, with 2 single beds. The bathroom is shared with me. I am in need of an independent person who is a self-starter and can work unsupervised. Handyperson/carpentry skills and own transportation are essential. There is a bus stop nearby. I am a busy artist living in a funky, eclectic beach property on a quiet street. It is a 5-minute walk to an uncrowded, beautiful surf beach with many walking tracks. The property is 8km south of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, one of Australia's most iconic tourist destinations. Peregian Beach village is only 3km south, with great restaurants, boutique shopping, an IGA, and a patrolled beach. Brisbane is an h...

HI ! We are located in Northern NSW, roughly 35km from the towns of Lismore, Mullumbimby and Byron Bay. Our slice of paradise is home to a stunning array of native vegetation and a bustling community of native wildlife, making it the perfect retreat for nature lovers and eco-warriors alike. Our current projects which we would love some help with, include getting the outside of the house ready for and painting, bush regeneration, maintaining bush tracks, general house and property maintenance. We also have some odd jobs for someone with building experience. We're offering cozy private studio accommodation equipped with TV and internet. We ask for 4 hours of help a day, (we are flexible as to when you achieve those hours) leaving you plenty of time to explore or just kick back and relax. Whether you're a master chef or someone who enjoys being cooked for, we've got the food covered in exchange for your awesome help (and maybe a hand with the dishes 😉). 🚗 Getting Here 🌳 Got tr...

I'm a Londoner by heart who moved to Spain 20 years ago. In the UK I provided arts educational events for children with learning difficulties. I have two dogs and two cats and we live between two properties, one in the town of Aracena and a villa twenty-five minutes walk away in the beautiful countryside. My long-term plan is to create a unique children's learning environment/garden. In exchange for a flexible 5 hours of help a day, 5 days a week, you'll have your own room, wifi, meals, and laundry. Things I need help with : GARDENING : maybe some strimming, creating a magical path / treasure trail for the children, some chainsaw work and some help with fencing so that the dogs don't escape. BUILDING : if you have building skills or are a qualified carpenter, that would be great as I have a few things that need work on around the houses. MOSAIC WORK: if you have a creative flair and interest in making a magical space with tiles and mirrors, I will be starting a couple of piece...

Seven years ago, Tim and I moved to our little farm, and we've been busy ever since; growing a garden, planting trees, and learning how to care for the land. We joined Landcare to better understand the local trees and wildlife, especially the ones that need a bit of extra protection. Tim is a retired engineer and has a knack for designing and building, so he’s been having a great time working on the infrastructure around the property. As for me, I’m a creative arts teacher and public health practitioner. I still teach both online and on campus at an Australian university, balancing my work with farm life. One of my biggest passions here is my rose garden with 400 fragrant bushes, and I'm dreaming of making rose water and rose oil one day. We’ve also got a thriving organic fruit and veggie garden, with plenty of fruit trees and a mix of seasonal vegetables. Our dam is well stocked with yabbies, and we’re just a short stroll from the Murray River, perfect for a bit of fishing. I lo...

I fell in love with beautiful Mompiche, moved here and started to build my dream house in 2006. It is a five-story bamboo house, built like a wedding cake. The top floor has a spectacular 360-degree view, with views from the shower and the toilet too! Mompiche is a quaint fishing village with a pristine 40-mile crescent moon bay. From October to April there are world-class waves, attracting surfers from around the world. It is surrounded by jungle with monkeys and tons of birds, including toucans and parrots. I am a massage therapist from Esselen, Big Sur, California with more than 40 years of experience. Chocolate making, basket weaving, and coconut cracking classes are available. Tours of the jungle and yoga can be arranged. You can explore the incredible surrounding area on foot or in kayaks, on horseback, or on a motorboat. I am charging $15 a week for all the bottled water you can drink, electricity, gas, TP and a bed in my dream house. I offer 5 delisous breakfasts and 5 ...

We live in a beautiful part of the world between the beach and Margaret River town. We live on a farm with multi- generational families, we work towards a lot of self sufficiency and we work off the farm also. Our interests include music and wellbeing. The Margaret River community is vibrant and has many activities on offer. Our family welcomes cross-cultural experience. We like our Helpxers to be happy; we offer clean, comfortable, private caravan accommodation. Tasks are dependent on helpxer skills, farm, family and home requirements (such as whipper snipping, gardening, wood splitting, domestic tasks, artistic skills and painting). Having a car is necessary as there is no public transport. We ask for 1 hour work a day (couple) and 1.5 hours work a day (single) which means that helpxers can get work off the farm, if you like. Kind regards :) Sabine, Tony and Family

We are a small modern monastery, and retreat/meditation center located near Hamburg, Germany. The center is focused on providing an environment to meditate, go inwards, calm down and reconnect with oneself and the Sacred in the inner and outer. It is a place of stillness and peace, and perfectly suited for experienced meditators and other experienced spiritual practitioners who might also like to enjoy the natural surrounding. You are welcome as a volunteer if you: - enjoy deep (inner) silence, - like to meditate with us, twice daily, - like to pay attention to detail and precision in your work and most everything you do, - would like to reduce your digital media intake to what is necessary, during your stay with us, - are 'experienced' on the spiritual path: You have your own spiritual practice and MUST have been on a spiritual retreat before, - would like to use your time here for your personal timeout and spiritual retreat - apart from the hours that you help in the house or garden...

Stay with us by a beautiful lake, wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy the sunrise from our beach, disconnect from the noise, become more sustainable, feel the essence of nature and climb the volcano where we live.

We have sheep, cows, dogs and plenty of land that we use for cropping and grazing as well as over 300ha of native bush. We currently require assistance to get ready for a clearing sale seeing as we have just sold our farm! This will include cleaning and detailing machinery, driving machinery across the farm, garden maintenance, house cleaning and general tidy up on farm. If you would like some experience to help you find a full-time farm job, we will teach you to drive tractors or other machinery so that you have that step up ahead of others new to the industry. In your spare time you may like to go bush walking or if you would like to travel off our property we are only 10 minutes from the town of Coorow, known for its friendly community members, 25 minutes from the 'big tractor' 1 hour from nearby fishing towns Leeman and Greenhead, an hour and a half from b...

Hi, Effie and family here 🥰 We live in Elands, NSW, just 2km from the beautiful Ellenborough Falls.

Help me build an Eco timber post and beam Dance Pavilion in an irish forest Hello my name is Fionntáin, you are welcome to my forest :-) On a south facing slope, my 9.5 acre forest consists of 7200 deciduous trees which were planted in 2001…. a clearing in the middle allows for views to the beautiful mountains...... if you are looking for a peaceful secluded natural environment then this could be the place for you....... please be clear that this is a rustic off grid experience with basic facilities at present, for example outside dry toilet and shower...... temporary accommodation for visitors and volunteers consists of a 3 bed mobile home and a 2 berth caravan. There are only a few of the appliances found in the average european household. I am building my eco home and creating a dance pavilion because i love dancing and music so much.... the pavilion is a jewel in the forest, a dream 🕺❤️💃 a timber post and beam structure surrounded by trees…. the space is now cleared and work p...

DEAR HELPERS : We are happy to come back to helpx website and welcome you after more than 4 years We invite you to the heart of Savitaipale, Finland. Savitaipale is a beautiful, hospitable little town in between the lakes Saimaa and Kuolimo. It is well known for its various sports facilities (gym, pool, ice hockey, ice skating, curling, volleyball, tennis, horse riding, etc). Occasionally, we take our helpers to our cottage. The cottage is in a beautiful location near a lake with almost nobody around and where you can enjoy Finnish nature. If you are a person who likes to hike, be in the wilderness with just the sound of singing birds this is definitely a place for you. There we may also need help with chopping wood, carpentry-related jobs, painting, and helping Sofia with her recycled-crafts workshop I need assistance with personal and household chores, as well as, with my recycling interests--cleaning, cooking, laundry, ironing, taking care of yard and dog, art projects (when i have ...
