I usually live in Australia with my husband but have returned to Japan to look after my 100-year-old mother at her house in Yokohama, an hours drive south of Tokyo. My husband will soon return to Australia as the fire season is approaching and there are dangers for our house in the forest there (see BLOG and WEBSITE). With only me looking after my mother it is quite intense as I can get little rest, and according to my mother's doctor, the intensity will only increase towards the end of the year. An hour and 15 mins away from Paris, we live in a tiny and nice village surrounded by wheat fields filled with poppies. We are a couple (m.André, 66 and me, Antoinette,54). We are looking for serious and motivated people interested in gardening, building, renovating, decorating and participating in a rare project : the creation of the Japonisme House. You may also be participating in the village events. An interest in Arts is appreciated, even if you have no knowledge and are willing to learn. SUNSHINE COAST - HINTERLAND. Accommodation is a self-contained studio which includes kitchen, en-suite and wi-fi. Guests help with house and garden for 12 hours per week per guest. The help roster is Monday to Thursday - in summer from 6am to 9am and in winter 7am to 10am. Arrival is after 4pm and departure is before 11am. We offer accommodation and two dinners - usually Monday and Thursday. You provide your other meals. Your studio has a kitchen with stove, fridge, and cooking equipment. This is an artistic place close to the center of the Galapagos Islands (1hr and a half of flight from mainland Ecuador, Guayaquil or Quito). Mosaic and tile work/sculpture is our art. I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht.  I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay.  My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Kia ora guys, We live in a small west coast beach village about 35-40 minutes from central Auckland called Muriwai Beach. It is one of NZ`s most stunning and wildest beaches. We have a half acre section that always needs little things doing and the house is slowly being worked on as well so experience in building or skilled labour is always cool as well as people who like to work in the gardens and landscape. We have a daughter who is 11 years old who loves playing in the outdoors, tending her veggie garden and meeting people from all over the world. We are Murielle and Luc living in Auvergne in a hamlet in the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park at 750 m above sea level. The house is surrounded by forests and grasslands. We live 10 mn by car from the city of Ambert and 1H15 from Clermont-Ferrand. Our life is simple. We enjoy nature, animals, gardening, and hiking with our donkeys. We like peace and quietness.
