Kia ora! I’m Cherie — a friendly, down-to-earth Kiwi mum of two, living just 5–10 minutes from the stunning Mangawhai surf beaches, bush walks, cafés, and weekend markets. After years of living on a larger self-sustainable farm, I’ve now relocated to a smaller home base where I’m building a simpler, slower, and more connected life — and I’d love a hand along the way! I’m a qualified naturopath, life coach and massage therapist with a deep love for nature, soulful conversations, organic gardening, emotional wellness, and conscious living. My two beautiful children keep life full, and while I juggle parenting and work, I welcome help around the home and garden to keep everything flowing. Help Needed: • General gardening and weeding • DIY projects or light building tasks • Property maintenance and painting • Childcare or play support • Animal care (we still have a few furry and feathered friends!) • Cooking, cleaning, or organizing if that’s your strength About Our Home: We share our s...

My farm, located near Kaniva, is a commercial agricultural enterprise in the Wimmera region of western Victoria (midway between Melbourne and Adelaide). It has been owned by my family for more than 130 years. In 2006 I purchased the major portion of the productive land from the family Estate, and now annually crops nearly 425ha to spring wheat, barley, oats, field beans and canola. I am fully responsible for the management and on-going development of the farm, with a "share-farmer" undertaking many of the farm labour components. I do not have enough work to keep you busy long-term, but I certainly have enough for 3-5 days. The deal I am offering is that you help me with general farm chores (e.g. burning up heaps of branches, some fencing repairs, cleaning up branches under trees, caring for my lawns and garden, cutting up firewood, planting farm trees, etc) and I provide free meals and accommodation and a modest hourly payment. Depending on the day/weather we would work for 4-5 ho...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

HI HELPERS!!! WELCOME TO JOHN`S FUN FACTORY!!! BULLETIN: I live in a beautiful isolated Tasmanian mountain valley surrounded by world heritage rain forest and some VERY TALL Trees!(but not as big as the Hinoki trees at AliShan in Taiwan!!) Most of my property is a nature reserve, but I have a 2 Hectare orchard, berry garden and vegetable garden which are all useless! The possums, wallabies and birds eat most of these (trees included!) so we live on ice cream and chocolate biscuits instead! Please come and help us eat the biscuits so I don`t get too fat! Oh, by the way, all the Wallabies are called "Skippy" and they don`t mind a bit of apple or banana occasionally. I have been a volunteer host for 18 years and I have had more than 1700(Yes!!!you read it correctly!) fabulous, lovely, wonderful volunteers stay with me. Many of them have come back for second, third…or even 10th visits!!!!! Work can be really diverse including tree planting, mowing grass, helping to install forest fire...

We can have a couple or 2 friends that dont mind sharing We are a family-run flower farm growing a wide range of seasonal blooms including roses and lilies. Our flowers are harvested fresh and sold through our on-site farm shop, to local florists, and to wholesale customers, so the farm is always busy and changing with the seasons. As a HelpX helper you’ll be part of our small, hardworking team and experience genuine farm life. Work is hands-on and varies depending on the time of year, but can include picking flowers, bunching, cleaning and preparing blooms, tidying garden beds, weeding, general farm maintenance and helping keep things running smoothly. The work can be physical at times, but it’s rewarding and you’ll see the results of your effort straight away. This is not a resort or retreat — it’s a real working farm — but it’s a warm, friendly environment where helpers are appreciated and treated like part of the team. We value people who are reliable, positive, and willing to giv...

If you’re interested in helping on a beef cattle farm, cuddling foals and experiencing the Aussie farm life, you are most welcome here. We have a number of building jobs going at the moment so if you are handy with mechanics, metal, wood or a paint brush, that would be very helpful to us. Your daily tasks would be to feed the animals in the morning and evening, and caring for the mare and foal, gardening and general farm chores or in the household. There is always something to do. It would be great if you know how to drive a manual vehicle and you can learn to drive a tractor or a quad here. In exchange you can choose between a cozy room or caravan with everything inside that you need and I provide food for all your meals. You prepare your own breakfast and lunch and in the evening we have a home cooked dinner together. We also have unlimited WiFi and a car that you can use to visit the local area. We are located on the edge of a small country town of Blayney in NSW, 3 hours w...

Hi, I am just editing my post to make it relevant. We are on the North Shore of Sydney at Turramurra, half an hour by fast train to the city about seven minutes walk from Turramurra station. . . My son in his 60's lives in the small unit in the garden and I live here in the house with my two dogs, Tilly and Tommy. Sadly my husband has recently passed away. We eat early about 6.30/7.00pm and the evenings are your own. Generally we work together for 4 hours each day from 8.30a.m. and I provide all your meals. Sometimes we work all one day and you have all the next day free which makes it easier for you if you want to go sightseeing. We have had wonderful couples staying with us this year, and over the past years since 2017 have met fabulous folk from all over the world. What I would also really love is some help with handyman/building work, plus someone with painting experience. We live in a beautiful old cottage built in 1906. If...

We run a three bedroom accomodation located in the beautiful historic area of Kerikeri just up from the Stone Store. We are looking for preferably a single person (ranking as mature) interested in staying at the lodge and taking care of the general running of things (around 2-4 hours per day , negotiable) This is very relaxed and mostly entails greeting guests in the afternoons and showing them to their rooms (only when we have bookings), cleaning rooms if the cleaner is away, taking bookings as well as some general property maintenance. You will stay in a separate part of the lodge with full kitchen, private room and bathroom. I am generally around the lodge most days but leave in the evenings as I live with my partner out of Kerikeri. So we work as a team. This means you will likely be taking care of yourself in the evenings, so being able to cook is important. We include you in most socil activities if you are keen, such as sailing. Every Helpx so far has been nothing short o...

Kia ora, travellers! Haere mai - welcome - to my whare (home) in beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and insects. We built this eco-earth house using local clay from right under our feet. This land used to be just grass, but after 30 years caring for this whenua, there are mature trees, orchards and organic gardens. Life here is peaceful and quiet, perfect for enjoying nature I am part of the local landcare group, protecting our native forest, birds, lizards and insects. We trap predators and remove invasive weeds. You could help with organic/permaculture gardening: vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit trees, chickens, mowing, brush-cutting, compost-making, maintenance and fixing things (basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, chopping firewood. I bake bread. I make apple cider vinegar, bottle fruit, jam, chutney, sauerkraut, and collect seeds. My place fits independent, mature helpers who have work & life experience. We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

Hi. We are a fun, friendly household in the sunny Bay of Plenty! I'm a Drama & English teacher and Blair is an electrician. My husband and I have 2 fun, adventurous girls, we also have a puppy and cat. We enjoy biking, baking, board games and picnics at the beach, amongst other things. We would love to host people who are honest, friendly, independent, hard-workers and are interested in meeting new people and enjoying what Tauranga has to offer. In exchange for 4 hours work per day, you will receive free accommodation, meals (please provide your own snacks) and wifi. Work includes domestic-type chores; mainly cleaning, cooking and possibly baby-sitting - helps if you like children and animals. We have a cat and golden retriever. It is definitely easier if you have a car, although buses are available from here. We had a homestay from China for a year who found his way round on the buses fine but it does take a while. Happy for any amount of time e.g. 1 or 2 weeks or months stay but ...

Small sheep ranch in northern Montana offers hands-on-learning experiences. We run about 40 head of ewes for wool and lamb crops. There is need for sheep herding help in the summer, lambing help during around April in particular. Shipping is in August. But internships accepted all year. Other ranch activities include plantings for wildlife, fencing, farming, gardening and landscaping, building and repairs. Besides sheep, ranch animals include chickens, horses, and goats. I would welcome Helpers who have some skills in landscaping, gardening, carpentry, construction, painting, driving tractors, fencing - or who want to learn. Several projects are lined up that would give a variety of experiences. Regenerative is a byword for goals here. Restoring fields to grassland. Historic preservation of structures on this old homestead is another goal. All seasons have their special opportunities, even winter. Spring lambing offers a fast course in animal husbandry for Helpers who woul...

NON SMOKERS ONLY! I am in LAUNCESTON TASMANIA. I (Yvonne) have a house in West Launceston, it is not a farm, it is a friendly house in a quiet Launceston suburb! I can accommodate one or two FEMALE helpers (Due to the religious Haram restrictions of one of our residents I can't accommodate male helpers) for about a week or so. Minimum stay three nights. Please inquire about available dates. Accommodation (for a single or two females) is in a private room with a double-bed. (Pictured). I can also add a single camp-bed in this room if helpers are two women who don't share a bed. I have been unwell, have poor eyesight, am on a restricted diet and am often busy doing volunteer community work, so I find it too difficult to have to cook meals and supply food. I can only offer an arrangement where you do two hours work per day for just accommodation and you supply your own food and cook your own meals. If this arrangement sounds like something you would be OK with, do contact me! Helpers...

I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht. I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay. My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house i...

I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) HI HELPERS!!!

NON SMOKERS ONLY! I am in LAUNCESTON TASMANIA. I (Yvonne) have a house in West Launceston, it is not a farm, it is a friendly house in a quiet Launceston suburb!
