I am an English woman. I live in a large property, in Saint Maur des Bois, 50800; opposite a medieval church. William the Conqueror used to have a chateau here but it has long gone now. I would like ideally to find someone to stay with me long term, but I love to host shorter stays too. I love meeting new people. Help needed in the garden with weeding, cleaning , animal care and general home maintenance. The garden isn't huge, but I can't lift heavy stuff any more. I am fairly easy going and treat our helpers as part of the family. The house is not far from the golden beaches at Granville, great for swimming. Le Mont St. Michel is about 30 minutes by car or bus. Christian Dior Museum and Gardens are 20 mins away by train. The closest large town is Villedieu les Poeles, famous for its bell foundry and medieval buildings. Today there are many arts and craft studios and a thriving café culture. WWII landing beaches are to the North. Loads of museums, history and sights. Paris is about 3...

I used to do glamping big time, I've stopped it it's just too much for me now......the accommodation for volunteers is a caravan with a compost loo outside, you have a cooking facility, to prepare your own meal. I am quite solitary, and early riser early to bed person, happy to work together and chat during the day. I am happy to buy all your food needs, but ask you to prepare your own food, as I am an extremely simple eater, so do not cook as such... You do need your own car here, as public transport is non existant I am deaf, but have a cochlear implant now so not too bad..... Thanks The place is located in a small village called Brilley, no public transport, nearest town Hay on Wye is 5 miles away. please email me or phone thanks

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

UPDATE 1st of June 2026: Too hot to host for the next 4 months, see you back October onwards. Hola todas! My place is an old grain mill with half a hectare of land. I live here for more than 17 years and hosted many volunteers. Work is mostly in the garden. Weeding, digging, planting, watering, harvesting and off course eating. There is a big cat family living on the land. Help in the kitchen is welcome. Special dietary requirements must be met by the helpers. In the area there are many activities possible. More yoga teachers than there are yoga students. Meditations, dancing, healing, massage, channeling, singing,....! Many communities of all sorts (hippy, midwives, subud, soefie). Hiking in all directions. Even skiing starting beginning of December. I try to keep a healthy environment, so no drugs that cloud your spirit. No dogs either. People mostly stay between one and two weeks. Work is about 5 days a week, 4 hours a day. Food and lodging included. Flexible. Work depends on pe...

Namaste! Thank you for stopping by. :-) I hope you will join me on my journey for a month, 2 months, or long-term. I have a pair of picturesque, riverfront hobby farms, each with a large 4-bedroom house. In time, want to transition the farms to more of a communal space. There are three acres of wild blueberries that I am currently converingt to organic production, six acres of pasture, and about eight acres of woods that provide more than enough firewood to heat both homes without having to clear-cut any areas. I have a small herd of alpacas and an even smaller flock of chickens, whom I allow to free range. We harvest a small portion of our food from the property, and my vision is to increase that slowly and steadily every year. For a long-term (and possibly lifetime) stay, I would particularly interested in these 3 individuals: 1. Someone to manage the livestock, including monthly shots for the alpacas 2. Someone to process and market the alpaca fibre 3. Someone to manage the lit...

We are located in the heart of Berlin, one of Europe's most exciting and diverse cities. With its vibrant cultural scene, world-class museums, historic landmarks, countless cafés, parks, and excellent public transport, Berlin is the perfect place to experience urban life while enjoying a welcoming home environment. I would kindly ask you to help with painting, fencing, gardening, sweeping leaves, cleaning and maintaining the house, as well as feeding and caring for the animals. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time. You will have your own private room, and I will provide breakfast and one warm meal each day. If you enjoy cooking in a holistic and nutritious way, you are more than welcome to do so. I am always happy to share my knowledge about healthy food and learn from others as well. I am not just looking for someone to help with daily tasks—I would like to offer a meaningful cultural exchange and create a positive experience together. If you are interested in me...

Our next availability is from the start of September. We are looking for a *female* native French speaker who is good with children. Tasks will include looking after our children while teaching them French, housework, helping to prepare our Airbnb accommodation and farmwork. For September and October, we could host someone who is not interested in helping on the farm. The main help needed is with the kids so we are looking for someone who has experience with kids and is patient and engaging. Our preference would be to host someone who could stay for at least 2 months. 🐑 🐎 🐑 🐎 Helpers will work for 6 hours per day 5 days a week in return for food and accommodation. 🐑 🐎 🐎 🐑 Our farm is in the north-west of Ireland, in County Sligo. As well as horses and sheep, we have two alpacas, a pig, two dogs, two cats and some chickens! 🐎 Accommodation will be provided in a mobile home on the farm. Nestled in the coastal range of Mendocino County, California (about 45 minutes Northwest of Ukiah where the weather is more pleasant) we are establishing a small farm and wildlife sanctuary.  Based on principles of sustainability & permaculture our expanding ridge top garden and orchards consist of a variety of fruits, veggies, herbs and flowers.  Aside from garden and orchard tasks additional projects may include gathering seaweed and other native wild foods, cooking, canning, fermenting foods, making herbal preparations, habitat restoration, brush and trail clearing, small scale green building and learning how to build and maintain an off-grid infrastructure and solar system. Please read all of our information before contacting us. We require a one month minimum stay, and currently we have space beginning July 1st. Our homestead is remote and therefore not for everyone. We prefer those who want to unplug and enjoy the serenity of a mountain forest. If you are open minded, love t...

My husband and I own & operate a small Christmas Tree Farm on our rural property, in addition to raising our two young children (ages 4 & 2). We are a very outdoorsy family and have a great property with walking trails, a pool, playground, trampoline, greenhouse & garden. Our kids are very active, but sociable and enjoy meeting new faces. We're excited to expose them to some different cultures and faces! I participated as a Helper in the HelpX program years ago while I was travelling NZ & Aus. I had amazing experiences and am excited to participate as a Host this time. We also have an 8 year old dog, named Cruz, who is also very active, loves walks & playing fetch. Who / what we're seeking: - A female helper to join us for week long stays throughout the summer months (June till September, 2026). - Help with gardening (weeding, watering, pruning, lawn care, etc); childcare (helping with the kids while I am home puttering with other tasks); basic house cleaning & upkeep; kitchen meal ...

It is our mission to provide visitors from all over the world with an authentic experience of the unique atmosphere and culture of our home in Canada’s far North. As a well-established tourism company, we are diversifying our impacts and create a more resilient business. Doing this is not only fulfilling our long-term mission of developing a self-sustaining Arctic Eco-Village, but also investigating innovative solutions to major obstacles facing communities in the North: food and housing insecurity, decolonizing our economy, capacity development and cultural revitalization. Sustainable farming is not the only focus we have here, but we are continuously developing ideas and trying new farming methods. We are happy to find people from all over the world who are as motivated as we are to make living in the Arctic more sustainable. Organic methods: In the summer time, when we enjoy 24 hour sunshine, we grow our plants in greenhouses without the use of any chemical/artificial fertilizers....

************ PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE APPLYING ******** Hi! I'm Brì (38 years old) and I live with my little daughter Nina (almost 2 years old). I'm a single mother, recently separated, and I'm rebuilding a new balance with my daughter. In the past I also traveled as a helper. I crossed the Atlantic to Cuba and lived for a year on a boat in the Caribbean, then hitchhiked through Eastern Europe. I truly believe in cultural exchange and in sharing everyday life in a simple and authentic way. Now we live in Milan and I’m looking for someone who would like to share a bit of our daily rhythm and help me keep our home peaceful and well organized, so I can spend more quality time with Nina. I work during the day and in the evenings I dedicate most of my time to my daughter, so I’m not always very present — and I prefer to be honest about that. What I can offer is something different: • A real immersion in everyday Italian life in Milan. • A lively, international home where friends, c...

We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals, fireplace and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and former owner of multiple language schools and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. Also 6 chicken and 2 ducks, so we always have fresh eggs. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome edible garden. We're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We like to work with fun, laughter, music and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out. Be yourself and join the family... We have had many awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Please note that there's a minimum of 1 week stay, we do n...

I am looking for people that are passionate about dogs and like to spend time and work with dogs. A pack of 24 huskies is something different than having a pet dog at home. You will be able to join our animal assisted programs with kids and young adults and learn about it. I am educated in dog physiotherapy as well and there is the possibility to learn in this field as well. Beside the main topic the huskies we have bee hives and produce our own honey. There is a big garden with fruits and vegetables that needs maintainance. To sum it up our work here is mainly outdoors with nature and animals. Every day is different so its not possible to give you a long term daily structure in advance. There are some everyday tasks in the dogcare but the rest of the work depends on the weather and the season. As we live in a small village the main freetime activities are biking and hiking. More freetime options you find in cities around in your days off. Vienna is quite close and its possible to ta...

Hi! I'm Tonje and I moved to my farm in 2020. And there's always a lot to do here. This small farm is in a very small town, by the fjord in Hardanger. Its a good place for hiking and culture. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. But I need help with maintenance of the outdoor area, wood working, chopping firewood and snow shoveling. I also have an airbnb, so cleaning, organize and tidying jobs are also tasks that I may need help with. Help are appreciated a lot. For your help, I can offer beautiful scenery, food and a private bedroom.

Join us building an off-grid organic garden and home in the stunning wooded valleys of Asturias! What we’re doing We’re passionately bringing to life an organic garden, sustainable home, and harmonious setup in a beautiful, wild wooded valley. It’s hands-on, rewarding work in nature—creating something real and lasting. Expect to feel the satisfaction of seeing tangible progress: planting, building, and shaping the land. But let’s be straight: this is a truly wild spot. The terrain includes steep hills, lots of mud, unpredictable weather (rain, wind, heat, or cold snaps), and changeable conditions. You’ll need good physical stamina, resilience, and the ability to push through discomfort when tasks need finishing. If you’re up for real outdoor work and don’t mind getting dirty and tired, you’ll thrive here. If you prefer comfort and ease, this might not be the best fit. Where we are Nestled in gorgeous foothills at around 650m elevation, about 10 km southwest of Infiesto (L’Infiestu), in...

Hi! We are Aga and Gaia, and we're welcoming people into our home in a small mountain village in Northern Italy. If you're looking for a meaningful exchange, a slower rhythm of life, and a chance to spend time close to nature, we'd love to hear from you. Aga is a psychotherapist and retreat facilitator and lover of all things soulful and meaningful. Gaia has a background in regenerative design, permaculture, and conscious events. Between us, we have spent many years involved in community, ecological, and transformational projects around the world. We live in a small ancient village in the Apennine mountains of Northern Italy, where we are now creating a simple and beautiful life close to nature. While we are nurturing a longer-term vision of a regenerative Temple Village rooted in connection, creativity, and conscious living, what we are offering today is much more personal: a chance to share our home, our daily life, and this early stage of the journey of building a community. Life...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

Good morning;. I went on the Wagon Train in Montana like I have since 1983. We had a bad wreck, both of us got hurt. My ribs are not broken but the Doctor said they would be better if they were . Please come help me. I am now able to ride the ride on mower and get mowing done. Still painful.. My helper who had been here just over 3 years [yes years],moved . He works in town full time, stayed here for free and helped with chores. I really need the help. I do need someone for the winter months for sure. I have had 3 really great helpers already this spring. Not as much to do as most years. Painting will have to get done this year. That is outside on the little buildings. 2 barn doors need repairs. Please respond when I send an invitation. I wait and wait and so many do not reply. Thank you to those who do. Due to my health, i have gotten behind.. I hope to see many more new friends in 2026. Hey, hello you ! We are Caro and Chris, Zion and Kiara. We were travelling around the world since a gorgeous time until all this virus craziness happened. Caro, then Chris & Caro were backpacking, doing hitchhiking, etc... The beautiful wildlife. Then kids arrived in 2017 and 2019 so we mainly stayed travelling in Europe by van until they will be able to carry a little backpack ;) When the virus arrived, we were crossing Sweden. Everything became complicated with borders, shops and people so we decided to enjoy the strange time to build our home. We bought an over 300 years old stone house on a big peace of land which were abandoned and this new adventure started. Bretagne is a nice place full of culture, traditions, nice villages, forest and legends and history, and surrounded by the sea. After being helpers ourselves, we now want to be hosts too. We loved it so we expect people love it here too. Our kids are homeschooling with mainly their mother and we would be happy to have Eng...

July 2026 update - looking for someone short term to help us out 9-1pm each day with the rest of the day free for enjoying Cork in the sunshine! We are family of a violin maker father (Bertrand), arts manager mum (Nicki), three children of 12, 10 and 7 years old. We are a busy, slightly chaotic and open-minded household with plenty of space and a nice little garden, 10 minutes walk from the heart Cork, Ireland`s Southern city, where there is a particularly strong music and food culture. We are mostly looking for help with the day-to-day life especially with cleaning and tidying, cooking (we love good food!), tidying, gardening and helping with the children. In terms of maintenance there is always plenty to do but we are not very DIY and can't give direction. We are always happy to host a skilled someone who is happy to work independently and enjoys a job well done for its own sake! Also anyone who can sew and do some sewing projects and repairs for us. We have a sewing machine. An...

I've previously been a Helpx host with my family winery and vineyard, as well as my farm property south of Adelaide. These days the winery is winding down, but in the past 18 months I've tripled the farm size to 130Ha (325ac). I'm currently growing hay and agisting sheep, with dozens of kangaroos for company. The farm is minutes from Victor Harbor (population 16,000), but the feeling is remote, as neighbouring houses can't be seen. The big projects at the moment are fencing and laying pipework for water for the sheep. There's also things like cutting firewood, machinery maintenance, road bulding, shed building and looking after a patch of native scrub. I have a covered orchard and the beginnings of a veggie garden, but I have no idea what I'm doing, so someone who could help with that would be much appreciated. The property is off-grid, but has all the modern conveniences of power, water, heating and air conditioning, all of which I've done myself. In the down-time I like to drive ...

It can be cold in winter so may be unsuitable for someone who feels the cold easily. Wi...

The farm is a diverse mix of organically produced vegetables, hemp and pasture raised animals. It is located in an area that is rich with local farms, breweries and food producers. The farm is located on the upper Lamiolle river and just 4 miles from beautiful Caspian Lake and Barr Hill Nature Perserve. Greensboro is the home of Jasper Hill Cellars, Hill Farmstead Brewery, Cirkus Simrkus, the Highland Center for the Arts and a whole lot more. We are 9 miles from Hardwick, dubbed the epicenter of the local food movement.

If you have not been to Saskatchewan, You are missing sheer beauty and so many things to see and...
