We are a gay couple who run a rural retreat-style guesthouse about 20 minutes drive inland from Torre Del Mar / Velez-Málaga in the south of Spain. In summer (late May to mid October) we take long-term volunteer "interns" to help with the general running of the guesthouse. We're looking for friendly, flexible Helpers who'll become part of the "family / home team" willing to just pitch in as necessary to get things done. Work includes cleaning, tidying the pool area and grounds, helping with guests, and serving meals. [ In winter and spring we sometimes offer shorter HelpX placements to help prepare the grounds and guest studios for our summer season. Work includes clearing undergrowth, collecting / cutting firewood, gardening, rebuilding paths and walls, and cleaning and decorating inside and out. ] We offer a high standard of food and accommodation (your own bedroom in the owners' apartment) in return for about 5/6 hours a day x 5/6 days a week of enthusiastic and energetic help. Kia ora, travellers! Haere mai - welcome to my whare (home) in beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and insects. We built this eco-earth house using local clay from right under our feet. This land used to be just grass, but after 30 years of caring for this whenua, it now has mature trees, orchards, and organic gardens. Life here is peaceful and quiet, perfect for enjoying nature I am part of the local Landcare group, helping protect our native forest, birds, lizards, and insects. We trap predators and remove invasive weeds. You could help with organic/permaculture gardening: vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit trees, chickens, mowing, brush-cutting, compost-making, maintenance and fixing things (basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, chopping firewood. I bake bread. I make apple cider vinegar, bottle fruit, jam, chutney, sauerkraut, and collect seeds. The current to-do list includes building a roof in front of the chicken coop and another in front...

The village Ahrbrück is in the middle of Germany nestled in the beautiful red wine region known as Ahrtal, a few train stations (*) away from Koeln and Bonn. The landscape here is very green and lush offering a variety of options for local tourism and recreation. I am a 55 years old traveller, who studied fruit farming, and keen on house building. I travel a lot in winter to other places in Europe mostly with caravan, I did couchsurfing and made in Portugal Wwoofing last years. It`s okay if you don`t speak German, I am also an English and Spanish speaker. Now I`m currently in the process of making a transition in my life. I have a nice but unfinished house in Kesseling for gathering for artistic, and nature-loving people. It is a work in progress which requires both time and effort, and I need help to make my dream come true! So, if there are any Helpers out there interested in my project, I look forward to welcoming you into my home. Longer staying helpers can do art. I have ve...

Hello, We are James and Isabel and we live in the tranquil, beautiful town of Monleras, in the province of Salamanca. We own a 6 hectare property just outside of town, called the "espacio natural de las grillas" where we practice permaculture techniques and host various activities and retreats involving yoga, meditation, personal growth, and silence. We have a large yurt, an outdoor kitchen, and an outhouse with running water and a hot-water shower, as well as a few other structures, and tents to stay in. There is also a room available in our house in town. There are always many projects to work on at the farm: construction with wood and stone, gardening, tree planting, pruning, and care, (and soon a henhouse!). There is a lake nearby for swimming and we have bicycles and a kayak available too. Isabel is a yoga instructor, and James works online in the afternoons. Besides yoga and meditation, we enjoy listening to and playing music, dancing, going on hikes, and just the peaceful...

We are looking for helpers from right now and have space for one or two people. We have three small cabins, two with double beds and one with a single bed so room for up to five helpers normally but only room for two at the moment as we have another couple staying. All the helpers share a kitchen and bathroom. From now end of June we need help with some building work so preference will be given to people who already have some skills with tools.. We are a great place to start or end your time in New Zealand as we are only 45 minutes drive from Auckland airport. The work will be varied and interesting but usually building and garden based. It could include finishing off an underground earth bag hobbit hole. We have a passion for earth building and organic gardening. Its good if you are over the age of 20, are self motivated and can work unsupervised. We are located on Auckland's beautiful West Coast only 40mins drive from Auckland central city. We need help with our property maintenance - eg. weeding, raking, mowing, feeding the chooks, collecting the eggs, compost making etc If outdoor work is not your thing, or if it is raining and the weather not great, there are inside tasks I need a hand with like cleaning windows, general housework plus if you are a keen cook you are most welcome to take a turn! In the ten years we have been here, we have worked hard to establish a caged vege garden, some fruit trees, plus we breed chickens as egg layers. We have Australorps (black and blue) Cream Legbars, Olive Eggers, plus a mixture of other varities. Our local town of Moruya, has a fabulous, award winning Farmers Market which operates every Tuesday afternoon. I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Dear people, Herzlich Willkommen, Loveley summertime! We will welcome helping hands, we are happy about empathic people. Garden and house are waiting for you. Tidy up in garden and house. We live in this historic former water mill (time of Napoleon) Thomas, Elke with Willi (dog) and Molli (cat). In the middle of the nature reserve. The Wendland is known to many. We have been happy here for over 20 years and try to harmonize our work with our environment. It is a constant "practice". We invite people to live or be longer or shorter. Living in the country means walking barefoot in summer or in rubber boots in autumn. Diversity of insects. Have patience and Friends tenacity. Begin and endure an activity and find a conclusion. Put away tools again. Things that are actually taken for granted. Speak out when something does not work or is not understood. Good communication makes it easier for everyone. Exchange ideas about the project: Dreaming is important, action follows. Here you ...

We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. There are also several other islands nearby that can be explored including North Stradbroke Island that has wonderful beaches and walks and lots of wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, turtles and dolphin and - from June to October - humpback whales. Over the next two years we will renovate and paint the home, install new kitchen and two bathrooms. Graham has some woodworking skill but needs help during that time with various tasks and we are willing to give you a comfortable bed, good food and company and access to bathroom and washing machine in exchange for 4 hours help per day, 5 days per week. 08/07/26 - I'm looking for someone to start as soon as possible for a week or more. The main jobs at the moment are weeding, planting & painting. The weather right now is amazing so a great time to be out in the garden! I live in a 5 bedroom house (a work in progress) with a large garden & lovely views. My son & daughter (age 24 & 23) also live locally & occasionally visit to help out. We need someone to help with the weeding, landscaping and other gardening when the weather is fine & do some housework and DIY when it's not (especially painting and cleaning). In return you'll have your own room, TV and WiFi and be well fed as we love cooking and baking! You will need to be fit & strong, like hard work & preferably know the difference between a weed & a (wanted) plant. A good dash of common sense will also go a long way. Must be a non smoker & I am afraid that I cannot host vegans. Either a single person or a couple is welcome. Helping hours would be around 4-5 hours a day, ...

We have last-minute availability from July 15 through to September 17, and can accept shorter or longer stays at this time. Hello! We're a warm, welcoming homeschooling family of five—one parent at home and three children (ages 13, 11, and 5), while my husband is away for work. We're looking for an extra pair of hands to help around the house as we navigate this season. We live in the beautiful Westshore area of Greater Victoria, BC, and look forward to welcoming someone into our home. Our household is bilingual as we have a blend of Canadian and South Asian cultures. We are fortunate to travel internationally each year, and when we’re back home in Canada, we love opening our home to welcome people from all corners of the world, sharing stories, cultures, and experiences. Over the past seven years, we've hosted close to 50 volunteers through various platforms and have learned what makes for a genuinely great match. 📌 Quick Snapshot 📍 Location: Greater Victoria, British Columbia (...

In return for 4 hours help a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house. My sunny home sits atop a hill from which you will have a magnificent view of the township of Blenheim to Cook Strait and the hills of the North Island beyond. Of course if you would prefer to work a full day in order to have a day off in which you could explore the nearby Marlborough Sounds, cycle the wine trails, or walk or climb on any of the formed tracks in this area, that would be just fine. My 40 ha property is a sheep/beef farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is help with this work I require.. Therefore most of the work is outdoor, constantly varied, not difficult, with some indoors work on occasions. The farm is situated in the midst of vin...

Welcome! Our family owned and operated certified organic livestock farm in North Central British Columbia is excited to have you stay and become a part of everything we have going on. We’ve been operating since 2008, primarily raising Berkshire pigs, Dexter cattle, Katahdin sheep, laying hens, broiler chickens and of course bronze breasted turkeys for thanksgiving and Christmas. On top of that, we’re home to two Labrador retrievers (Ned and Nelly), 3 outdoor cats, 2 guard alpacas and a family of Muscovy ducks. In other words, you will never find yourself not in the company of animals! Aside from livestock, we have recently built a small farm store / café that cooks the meat raised on the farm. We also take pride in creating all recipes from scratch, from the sauces to the buns of the burgers. Currently only operating during the summer months, 3 days per week. It’s been a lot of work, but a great way to get more people out to the farm, eating good food and connecting with the community...

Hi everyone! We have a beautiful property a short walk/drive away from a gorgeous New Zealand beach. We live 45 minutes from Hamilton and 20-25 minutes from Raglan. Our area is very remote - we have some neighbours but there are no shops here or public transport, just farmland. So if you enjoy being away from cities and people then this is the place for you! Our property suits people who enjoy the outdoors and surfing, hiking, walking, animals, solitude. There is a beautiful mountain right by our house for hiking, great surfing and fishing in the area, and Raglan (a little over 20 minutes away) which is a vibrant and energetic little beach town with world famous surf. This exchange is for accommodation only. We have a cabin with a big bed and beautiful views of the farmland and mountain and sea. There is a kitchenette for you to keep and cook your own food. The bathroom is about 20 metres away from the cabin and it is a composting toilet with shower that does the job but is gravity-f...

Welcome to our homestead! We (family of four, with an 8-year-old and a 14-year-old) are currently taking a little bit of a step back from endeavoring to grow, raise and preserve as much of our own food as possible to put in more infrastructure, improve health (mom) and homeschool with more focus. However, we are still doing some of that! We have a lot going on with building, gardening, animals, home schooling, two active kids, making a living and keeping a household. Part of our farm family are 2 large outdoor dogs, three cats and 30 or so chickens. In the past we've had ducks, geese, turkeys, pigs and sheep, but they are on vacation! We live on 5 acres about 6 km outside of Duncan, on Southern Vancouver Island in the beautiful Cowichan Valley... There are so many places to swim in the ocean, lakes and rivers, bike and hiking trails, spots to picnic and enjoy. Ezra and Hanna both grew up hosting and, since starting our family, have hosted many WWOOFers and HelpXers (We're new to W...

We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. If you have something you are passionate about and want to share with others, we would love for you to run a workshop. One of the best things here is the variety of tasks you can do as a volunteer, which gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and discover what you enjoy doing most. For nature lovers only! For the next 2 weeks we would need someone to help with fixing a part of the barn roof (so no fear of hights and comfortable to climb ladders) and put up a 30 m wire fence. Looking for people with common sense and practical skills only! It's an old property that needs love and restoring and also an orchard that needs clearing of old trees to make space for new ones. The house needs a lot of repairs in terms of carpentry, electrical wiring, pointing the foundation, fixing the chimney and parts of the roof. We also need to build more storage for and wood cutting, splitting. We have an orchard that needs clearing and felling some trees. When applying to come here please specify which jobs you can help with, what are your skills set and experience. It's a homestead in the paradisiac hills of Transylvania, away from the craziness of the so called civilised world and yet providing modern facilities like running water, electricity and Vodafone mobile and WiFi...

This is a small farming property ten minutes drive or around 30mins bike ride from the coastal town of Esperance. There is a comfortable sleep-out available or a room in the main house. The adjacent bush and wetlands provide kangaroos and birdlife for the nature lovers. Expect an international flavour as current occupants include travellers from Argentina, Italy China and New Zealand. It is important to understand that there is no public transport into Esperance, any visitors will need their own transport.

My property is 10 hectares on the West Coast of the South Island, which starts at the coast with sand beach and sunsets and heads inland 1km through native wetlands and forest. Approximately 20km from Westport, 1km from Tauranga Bay! Public transport is limited? I'm a Certified Plumber and Drainlayer by trade but recently retired to work on property (next stage of life!) I have hosted many people through Couchsurfing over the years! Helpx is a new concept for me I purchased the property which is in need of a lot of work to tidy up, contouring/fencing/and planting trees etc. I'm now into planting out and setting up orchard also clearing introduced plants and replanting with natives. Current projects are building a new cottage for myself which is at the internal painting stage! and similar 2-bedroom cottage as a guest house which is at the internal lining and painting stage! both will be total off grid power and water supply. We would love to welcome you to our beautiful log home near the Canadian Rockies for a unique volunteer experience surrounded by nature, wildlife, and true Alberta ranch life. Our home sits on a stunning 60-acre property with ponds, walking trails, open space, and incredible mountain-country scenery. The lodge itself is over 10,000 square feet and offers modern comforts, including a gym, cozy fireplaces, quiet spaces to relax, and plenty of room to feel at home. Volunteers have a private bedroom and share a washroom with 2–3 others, depending on the group size. We host a maximum of 6 volunteers at one time, which keeps the experience social, comfortable, and family-style.

I am looking for someone in July for 7 nights. Preference a solo or two friends, or couple. Preference for help with office administration, IT, technology, too hard for me. Photo items for me for market place. I'm downsizing. Plus assorted household tasks. I have a modern clean home, cosy warm home. Full kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. I am looking for diligent, hard working, giving helpers. Helpers that fully embrace the help exchange program. Various tasks inside and outside dependent on the weather. My standard request is a minimum 7 nights. I often work alongside my helpers on projects if and when required. My standard is an average of two half hours per day and you provide your own food. We usually work in the mornings depending on the tasks and weather and other things. I can be flexible too. Sundays, usually off. Daily helping hours can vary and some day hours are longer and other days shorter. I am a home stay, so its dependent on the weather and task required and cha...

We operate Muriwai surf school and ad...

Hello! We live on a beautiful two and a half acre bush block, surrounded by tall trees and we are an easy 1km walk to lovely swimming beaches on the South Coast of NSW. There is also a very friendly community running group each Wednesday afternoon, with the choice of 2...

PLEASE READ OUR PROFILE CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTACTING US. UPDATE: 🌟 We could really do with a strong, willing person to assist with a complete re-roof job in the first week of June. Helping Marcus to lift materials up to the roofer. 🌟 Early August, and energetic person to support Marcus in the madness and clean-up of our living area when builders rip down the old ceiling, and replace it with a new one! Then to help paint the new ceiling (Marcus can patiently teach you how to be an excellent painter). Minimum age: 25, with good English. Accommodation: Excellent accommodation - immaculate Airbnb standard room and house. Your own private double bedroom in a spacious home with a lovely garden.

This is a 4 hectare property located at the north end of Tasman, a ten minute drive to the Abel Tasman walk and the beautiful beaches that surround this area. Here I grow cherries, apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines, apples and pears. Nearly always need help or if you are interested in growing food then let me know and I will see what I am up too. I also rent accommodation on a weekly basis for anyone here for the fruit picking season. There is shared rooms and double rooms. Thanks Craig.

We continue to be awed by the amazing people we meet! We are currently renovating our Childcare Centre. Looking for people skilled in carpentry, painting etc. We ask that our helpxers help out approximately 5 hours a day excluding our daily tasks - there is always a list of jobs to do! Our family live in a century old farm house on a three acre property outside of Victoria by the Sea, PEI. Easiest way to get to our home is by Maritime Bus - with a drop off in Crapaud. We have traveled extensively, are entrepreneurial (we own Merry Pop-Ins Childcare Centre, Victoria Homestay, PEI and some rental properties. We do not work a traditional 9 -5 Mon to Fri. We have two daughters - they are University students in New Brunswick and Ontario. We have two cats: Moo and Cookie. We love the out doors, going to the beach, canoeing and sailing. We enjoy meeting new people from different parts of the world, and believe that we can learn from each other. We are looking for independent, creative...

Helpers may enjoy feeding the sheep and cows or other farm related tasks and there is always firewood to split for the wood stove. The 4 alpacas enjoy some attention too. Expect an international flavour as current occupants include travellers from Argentina, Italy China and New Zealand. It is important to understand that there is no public transport into Esperance, any visitors will need their own transport.
