We are a small-scale, organic vegetable farm in Palmer, Alaska. We grow an array of beautiful produce which includes carrots, tomatoes, strawberries, zucchini, brussel sprouts, romanesco, broccoli, potatoes, rhubarb, onions, beets, and many more. Spring is arriving as we speak :) Wow, exploring right outside our backdoor along side the Campbell River on Vancouver Island, is a beautiful place to experience Vancouver Island`s great outdoors this fall :) Although we live on a one acre town lot, our back yard is situated on a cliff over looking an accessible beautiful heritage river, with a nature park setting of ferns, douglas firs, maples and alder trees. You can often see deer, raccoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the river’s pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. À partir de la MI-AVRIL jusqu'à la fin de l'été, je cherche au moins deux personnes pour de multiples travaux : Nettoyage du terrain, couper des arbres (tronçonneuse), corder des bûches, planer et sabler du chêne, pratiquer le YAKISUGI et poser les planches en revêtement extérieur, nettoyer des ruches etc. des travaux moins urgents d'intérieur sont aussi à faire. Vous pouvez être logé dans la maison (les finitions ne sont pas faites) ou bien avec votre propre véhicule. C'est une terre de 23 hectares avec forêt et champs sans fumée ni drogue. A bientôt !

We actively collaborate with other projects in the province, from which we learn a lot. We live a sober, frugal, healthy life. We follow, in a somewhat radical way, the ethics of Permaculture and many of its principles. After a period of training in horticulture and spiritual reconnection in the Loire in a Sōtō Zen temple, a PDC at Il Filo di Paglia (Comiso) and two years of agricultural experiences of the most varied in south-eastern Sicily, we feel ready to open ourselves to volunteers , willing and passionate who want to live, share and exchange within in this vibrant and beautiful setting. We are in the nature, in the province of Granada (Andalucia), on the hills of the Costa Tropical, 12km from the coastal town of Almuñecar and 2 km from the village of Jete. We have half an hectar of organic orchards : avocadoes, mangoes, oranges, mandarines, lemons, chirimoyas, goyavas, papayas etc...and many almonds trees. So, we have often work around them, weeding, pruning, giving them fertilizer, etc... We built our house with a lot of recycling, We have always various maintenance works with the buildings (paint, repairs...) We are looking for help us from the first or second week of July to mid-August. We are looking for a female native French speaker who is good with children. For this period, a good level of English is required. Not a requirement but it would be a plus if we could find someone who is a competent horse-rider. Tasks will include playing with our children while teaching them French, housework and helping with our English language holidays.
