We are looking for help from the end of October / beginning of November until a few days before Christmas. We are looking for a female native French speaker. 🐎 🐑 Helpers will spend part of the day helping on the farm or doing some housework and the other part of the day will be spent playing with our children (born January 2021 and April 2023) while speaking French with them. 🐎 🐑 🐑 🐎 For anyone interested in helping us during our lambing season, it will start around 17th March and last for about 3 weeks. 🐎 For anyone making plans for next summer, we'll need someone with a good level of English to help us in July and August (starting in June would be fine). 🐑 Helpers will work for 6 hours per day 5 days a week in return for food and accommodation. 🐑 Our farm is in the north-west of Ireland, in County Sligo. As well as horses and sheep, we have two alpacas, a pig, two dogs, and some chickens! During the summer months, we provide English language holidays for teenagers, so are...

We are a family run home, perfect for the 1st time volunteer. Natural horsemanship is a real factor here if you want to learn more. Our mentors being Buck Brannaman, Steve Halfpenny and Ken Falkner. A safe environment for your 1st time away from home. You do not need any knowledge of horses but you do need to love dogs, they are a major part of the family and are constantly with us all 8 of them, dalmations, vizslas and 2 weimararners, and they do jump all over you. Constant appaloosas is a small holding where we breed and train horses for ourselves and occasionally others. We have help exchange programs running throughout the year for interested students of all ages. Vet students get a really good grounding here. What we expect from you, conduct yourself in an open and friendly manner, engage in all aspects of life on the farm and seize all opportunities with enthusiasm, avoid rude and disrespectful behaviour to people horses and dogs.Basically show respect to people and our home,sadly...

The helper accommodation is a double room in a 200 year old cotswold stone house located in a small village near Stroud. There’s woodland above and it’s in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty backing on to the Toadsmoor valley. The house is 35 mins walk from Stroud town centre. There are a few shops in the village as well as a pub nearby. The house is surrounded with the hills and countryside on your doorstep and lovely views. From the garden...great for forest walks and exploring the Cotswolds. English, Spanish and French is spoken. I have my child with me half the week.. We aim to work an average of 5 hours per day, 5 days p/week in a freedom loving and awake household. The work is varied but currently there are raised beds to make for growing vegetables, a chicken run to make, chickens to feed and care for, gardening, cooking or generally helping with whatever task is being done at the time, though no need of experience as I'm happy to teach techniques. Anyone with moti...

Hei ! Here is Ingunn and Mathieu. We are a Norwegian-French couple and since mai 2021 a happy family of three. Our family house "Karnes Gaard" is a farm since the 16th century. In 1912, Ingunn's grand father gave part of the land for the Tromsø county to build "Solhov", prestigious boarding school and largest wooden building north of Trondheim. When Ingunn took over the farm in 2009, running it organically felt something obvious. And when Solhov was for sale the next year, a dream became possible : sharing our love for the Lyngen Alps by hosting guests who seek breathtaking surroundings, healthy stay and organic local food, peaceful lifestyle and carbon-free activities. Our dream is to serve as much as possible our organic and local products to these guests. Originally we grow potatoes and strawberries (the best in the world) and we are studying the possibility of many small scale production. our coming projects are : - mai-june 2024 : finish the chicken house and welcome our first...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

We need a couple or two people travelling together who want to visit us for about a week from mid/late October or early November.. We are a busy and active couple in our early 70s needing some help on our medium-sized suburban land on the north-east fringe of Melbourne. We need people who have some experience with small construction and maintenance projects - eg digging a hole for a shade sail support, sanding and painting railings on a decking, using a ladder to access the roof and rear windows, We also need people to help complete the Springtime weeding, mulching, rabbit-proofing and general tidying. The work will require some practical skills, including the use of the usual power tools hat you find in many houses. We need people who are comfortable working without supervision, after some initial instructions. The arrangement is to work for about 4 hours a day but we can be flexible with how this happens. In exchange, we will provide food (self-serve breakfast & lunch), eveni...

If you love wildlife, the outdoors, great views and good food, send us an email (only emails from this site will be responded to). This is very much a cultural exchange (for us and for you) as you will be in our family home sharing our lifestyle. NO SMOKERS OR VEGETARIANS PLEASE. We prefer our helpers to stay 2 weeks or more. Work outside is a major part of what we do so expect to be outside on a rural property as part of the experience. The property is located 60km South of Brisbane and 20km West of the Gold Coast on the upper North slope of Mt Tamborine, 320m above sea level. We are surrounded by National Parks and abundant wildlife. The property is 6Ha with a sub-tropical climate and has great country views to the North up to 140km on a clear day. We also have a tennis court (I will always give preference to tennis players who love to cook and eat great food), an outdoor cob pizza oven, chooks/ducks, two Rhodesian ridgeback dogs a vegetable garden, about 300 fruit trees and a lar...

Come and stay TODAY 😊 Friday 11th October. We can pick you up if needed. Hi 👋 we suddenly have availability for a very short time, as our other fabulous helpers have gone to our holiday house at Bruny Island to have a well deserved rest! Important - You ideally need a car to stay at the forest property shown in pictures but not essential. We also have a nice house in the middle of Hobart if you are 1-2 girls and like doing household jobs. Tidying, laundry, vacuuming, also cooking if you like doing that. Plenty of time for sightseeing! So if you want to save money on food & accommodation. We would LOVE 💕 your help with some jobs. Enjoy a great forest experience with outdoor bath (and a real bathroom with nice hot shower) and BBQ, even a bonfire if you like. The forest location is at Margate 20 minutes from Hobart. We have been hosts for more than 10 years! The property is being sold so this property is only available for the next 2-3 weeks. You can stay at our Bruny Island...

Our farm has a 2000sqm glasshouse that has a variety of strawberries, chillis and peppers that are grown using organic sprays and utilising predators under the IPM programme. Available now We live in the beautiful Perth hills in a scenic valley and have a five acre garden. We have two children and not enough time to manage our huge garden of fruit and ornamental trees, ponds and garden beds. We also keep chickens and have two dogs. We're looking to meet couples or singles to help us, mainly in the garden, and offer accommodation only in exchange for eight hours per person per week. We are interested in cultural exchange for us and our children. The accommodation is in a separate building from the main house and consists of a living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. This area will be exclusively yours during your stay and has it's own cooking facilities. The property has a pool and lovely outdoor garden spaces to enjoy. We are close to Armadale, but not well serviced by public transport so own transport is desirable. We do drive into Armadale frequently so we can organise trips to the supermarket and train station if you can fit in with our schedule...

We're a family who love surfing, music and travel. We live in Raglan West walking distance to town and a quick drive to the surf (we'd be happy to give you a lift). We have a good sized spare room for a single or couple and are looking for someone (ideally a couple) to help with painting our fence in November or December. We're heading on a overseas trip next year, and would love Spanish speakers to practice with. We're looking for short stays and would agree terms when in contact. Cheers!

I have several little gardens and there is always a lot to do. I travel very often, so my work in the garden is not regular. I live in an old but renovated house in a nice village. I have some painting to do ( windows, shutters ) and getting order in my garages. It's more funny to work with somebody than alone. I like also to show you the nice surrounding of my area, do cycling or walking tours, meet my friends with you and go to Poitiers, which is a very nice university town. I travel a lot ( so some months of a year I'm abroad) and I have contacts with foreign students in Poitiers. I like the ecologique way of live, I like to live simple and happy.

We have a small farm. We moved from the city to produce our own food. We have sheep. We are trying to grow new saplings and trees and establish a food forest. We are conscious people who are permaculture certified and registered in the organic farm network. We have a sustainability-based perspective. We would like to host volunteers who will help us with these issues. You will carry the experiences of being part of a real farm throughout your life. You will gain wonderful experiences on the farm with Selçuk, the master of everything, and Kadriye, the cook of delicious meals. To make bread, you need flour, yeast and an oven. A person who produces everything himself learns to live without needing anyone. This is a great freedom. We have a lot of wwoof experiences. Thank you for read our profile..

Hello travellers, and a warm welcome to beautiful Olinda - I am Vita and delighted to host you. **Currently seeking Helper/s who can work in the garden or use a chainsaw to cut fire wood. Or a carpenter who can help repair weather damaged external timber windows. Or someone with mechanical experience to service chainsaw and lawn mowers. INTRODUCTION... Hello my name's Linda. I am a Queens English speaking intelligent lady, in her early 60's. Animal LOVER. Previously had lived in incredibly touristiky tacky Marmaris in Turkey more than 16 years running private boat and fishing charters. BUT NOW on with my next about turn adventure and BIG life change having bought a very old part renovated Cortijo/FARMHOUSE in Spain, Andulucia, Granada Province on the beautiful but windy Costa Tropical famous for its exotic fruit and vegetable growing. The Cortijo is mostly renovated and large, she stands solitary on the slopes of a low mountain lea below Mount Lujar, I am at 350meters above sea level. Amazing...

Hi, I am Tika. I am a teacher at the local government secondary school in Maipokhari village. I am living with my family in Sandakpur-3, Maipatal village in the Ilam district. There are 4 family members in our family. Me, my wife (dika), son (suman) and a daughter (sudha). The village is located around 600km from Kathmandu with an altitude of 2225 mt. The Ilam district is famous for its tea farms. We have our own organic farm, with fruit & herbal plants and a nursery consisting mainly of kiwi plants. We have also two cows. We are growing kiwi, black tea, ground apples, chickpeas, cucumber and beans. Volunteers are warmly welcomed to my farm as well as my family. You can experience rural life in the east of Nepal and you can get a true sense of local rural life. Our village and its surroundings are quite green and it's known as the greenest district of Nepal as well as the tea paradise. If you like, you can do many activities here. Experience your pleasant stay within the clouds at ou...

Update, possible accommodation available for kiwifruit staff. My caravan is available, not fancy but clean & waterproof. I'm a beekeeper in need of assistance, either with the bees directly or not. I'm located 16km South of Te Puke on a property that has a back boundary of native forest. I'm usually able to host people at any time of year, but am busiest in the spring. I currently have building projects happening, as well as lots of painting, waxing new bee frames, and also hands on beekeeping for anyone who is keen. I also keep sheep and cattle on the property here, and hunt deer and pigs in the forest. These grass and forest fed animals form a large part of the menu here, so vegetarians probably won`t be happy with the diet. I cater to lots of herbivores and they all have hooves or paws. The accommodation is a spare room in the house. The house is a late 1800s villa in need of replacement, but it keeps the weather out and I find it comfortable. Housework isn't high on my priority ...

Gardening, forestry We live in a small cottage on a friendly lake about 3 hours north of Toronto. We have the usual cottage toys available, canoe, small sailboat, row boat. Looking for help with selective cutting trees for firewood and lumber which we cut on our own small mill. Hopefully someone that is a better gardener than we are as we would like to start growing our own produce and maybe even get some chickens. Help with some construction and painting projects. We have some old machinery we are always trying to keep running. We are offering free accommodation and meals in exchange for help. This is a no smoking environment.

We are both retired and live in a converted barn in about two acres of land. The nearest town is Villefranche de Rouergue which is ten kilometres away. We have lived in France long enough to appreciate what we call proper food so. we strive to vary the diet so that no main meal is repeated for at least 14 days (unless specially requested) It may be French, it may be British, or it may be a mixture of French and British and on occasions you will taste the local delicacies We are very flexible about working hours all we ask is that in return for five hours work per day, five days a week, at a time to suit yourself, we will provide you with good healthy tasty food and a private comfortable room which has TV and en-suite facilities, If you are a couple who wish complete privacy, we could provide you with a separate self-contained apartment. Must be non-smoker and we find that feeding vegans is difficult. Please note. If you want to practice your English, then we are your ideal hosts a...

Thanks to all for such wonderful support and to all those that have shared journeys with us over past years. We are now taking applications for caretakers over the winter months as our work season is quickly coming to an end after some wonderful volunteer experiences and fantastic learning and sharing - this year has been wonderful. The tents are now all down and packed away and we are now preparing again for winter ..... During winter the accommodation will be the mobile home caravan with indoor kitchen and bathroom. The work assistance we need support with over winter is looking after our 50 chickens, Guinea Fowl flock and our turkey as well as some painting and some gardening. This is a fifteen hour per week volunteering position in return for bed and breakfast. Please note that this would only suit someone who is able to work unsupervised and independently in a peaceful forest environment with very limited support. We are generally onsite during the days and working in the ba...

We need volunteers for gathering/shearing first half of november! After a nice summer enjoying green grass, the last sheep which are in the mountains will have to come back in the barn. So the job will be to helping the shearers, feeding the sheep and cleaning after them. Plus the free time enjoying hot spots and swimming pool to relax after a day of hike! You can of course text even if you're available another time of the year ! Message us on WhatsApp or on HelpX. My WhatsApp number is also listed on the HelpX. Send me (Caroline, who runs the HelpX) a message! You can also message the farmer directly via Facebook. Alexander Flumbri is the Facebook account, named after Beggi the farmer's cat! Profile picture is of a cat as well! Where to start? We are a family in the western part of Iceland, at the gates of the Westfjords, Beggi runs the sheep farm. We more than 500 sheep and all possible trouble that can be connected to sheep: fixing fences in the summer, gathering sheep in the au...

Spring has sprung! And we are ready and able to take helpx couples or singles. We always need help in the large garden and olive and hazel nut grove as well as other farm chores.

We have not been on the farm very long and are learning as we go and we would love to share our experiences with others and learn off them as well. We are willing to open our home and farm to share our wonderful life to the right people that are positive and pro-active. We have 2 labrador dogs, Buddy (Chocolate Lab) Tui (Black Lab) an PJ (an amercian short haired cat) so being an animal lovers is a must. We have both travelled extensively throughout the world and we enjoy learning about other countries cultures and the awesome people in them.

Couples or singles with transport is preferred as we are off the main public transport route and approximately one hours south of the centre of Christchurch and ideal for folk heading either north or south. We can consider folk and make some adjustment with no vehicle though. Our current work programme is always being expanded so always plenty to do here particularly in the garden. If you consider you have some special talent to offer please contact us. Helpers with carpentry skills or handyman/woman skills are particularly welcome. We are meat eaters so catering for non-meat eaters can be a little difficult but do-able with your help. We are a friendly couple in our mature years, very energetic and both working from home, therefore only travel to the city when we have to. Our property is aroun...

We have a vineyard, olive trees and vacation houses near Tropea in Calabria. We need a couple to help us for some week from september to june for vintage, olive harvest, gardening, general maintenance and internet announcements. In autumn, winter and spring we have a lot to do in the vineyard, with the olive trees, the house and garden. Accommodation in a full equipped chalet offered. It is better to COME WITH CAR or rent it here. We expect you to work 2 and half hours a day (16-20) hours a week. You should buy and cook your food. We are used to give local products and teach you how to prepare traditional dishes. We appreciate if you work more hours on weekends because we are at home. You have a free day in the week. If we have time, we can show you around our region and our white sandy beaches. We would be glad to welcome people from all over the world to our home. We prefer couples. Feel free to write us an Email! It's possible to contact us early, that's not a problem!

We live on 10 acres of waterfront on Hastings bay close to Hastings caves and thermal pool, surf beaches and the southwest wilderness. We own an old Tasmanian fishing boat which we maintain and use often for fishing and sailing. Anders is originally from Denmark and enjoys fishing, sailing, bee keeping, wood craft and building. Jane is a ceramsist and works from her home studio producing work for exhibitions, galleries and markets. She also loves gardening, bush walking cycling and sailing. We have 2 very friendly dogs living here I too ! We have a kitchen garden and small orchard and maintain about 4 acres of cleared land around the home. We enjoy visits from enthusiastic travelers willing to share our place with us. Common work here includes help with firewood, gardening, working with the bees in summer . Right now we need help in the garden, and fire wood stacking and help on our new build. Someone who likes to have a go at a bit of landscaping would be great ! We have a separate cab...

Hi folks, YES, we achieved a lot since returning from a 3+ year break in Feb 2022, beautifying our wonderful Paradise Gardens property, something we could not have done on our own. We are thankful for having had great assistance from amazing volunteers over the years, enriching our lives culturally and socially while progressing our beautification projects. We are a fit & energetic older couple with the following background: - Rene, 69yo, Swiss origin, Architect / Photographer / Traveller / Retired Resort Owner & Operator / Retired Tour Operator / Retired Restaurateur / Handyman (DIY Building) / Landscaper / Gardener. - Julie, 64yo, Philippine origin, Chef / Traveller / Retired Resort Owner & Operator / Retired Tour Operator / Retired Restaurateur. Our hosting, as well as workflow, is intermediate, as such, we may have breaks in between and preferences & requirements may change. With most of the earlier days' heavy lifting on structural projects, including the construction of a ser...
