Our Place is a cultural association and a meditation center as well as a space for personal growth groups. It includes a small biological farm of 6 hectares situated in Tuscany at the foot of the Macchia della Magona and is 7 kms away from the sea along the wine route to Bolgheri. The main activities are the meditation center and farming. Often we are a group of friends who wish to live together in harmony, friendship and meditation. We are 2 people sharing the place with many friends helping. It is a beautiful nature spot. We produce olive oil, jam, herb salt and firewood for our own consumption. Your help is needed all year round, in springtime for the pruning of 250 olive trees and 50 fruit trees and in autumn for the harvest of the olives. We are tending a herb garden and produce every year marmalades, mainly figs. In the colder season, we are cutting firewood in the forest for heating the houses. Our beautiful park with ancient trees needs some grass cutting. Further jobs to be do...

We are a family with three children, aged 14,18 and 21, originally from Germany and America.10 years ago we moved onto a beautifully situated 46 acres site where we are in the process to establish a farm, garden and a respite care house for people with special needs. We have 11 alpacas, 3 goats, 40 sheep, 8 chickens, 3 dogs (one of them has puppies at present) and 3 cats. We are gradually introducing bio-dynamic methods to the garden and farm. We built a new house which is not quite finished yet, building sheds and renovating an old house. Visitors will stay in a room in our house with a separate bathroom. Meals will be with the family and are mostly vegetarian. We need help with gardening, fencing, cleaning out stables, making concrete floors, plastering around windows and wool processing Particular in summer there is a rich cultural life in the area with several traditional music events. The west coast and the Burren (a fascinating limestone landscape) is about an hour away, pub...

Namaste! Thank you for stopping by. :-) I hope you will join me on my journey for a month, 2 months, or long-term. I have a pair of picturesque, riverfront hobby farms, each with a large 4-bedroom house. In time, want to transition the farms to more of a communal space. There are three acres of wild blueberries that I am currently converingt to organic production, six acres of pasture, and about eight acres of woods that provide more than enough firewood to heat both homes without having to clear-cut any areas. I have a small herd of alpacas and an even smaller flock of chickens, whom I allow to free range. We harvest a small portion of our food from the property, and my vision is to increase that slowly and steadily every year. For a long-term (and possibly lifetime) stay, I would particularly interested in these 3 individuals: 1. Someone to manage the livestock, including monthly shots for the alpacas 2. Someone to process and market the alpaca fibre 3. Someone to manage the lit...

We are located in the heart of Berlin, one of Europe's most exciting and diverse cities. With its vibrant cultural scene, world-class museums, historic landmarks, countless cafés, parks, and excellent public transport, Berlin is the perfect place to experience urban life while enjoying a welcoming home environment. I would kindly ask you to help with painting, fencing, gardening, sweeping leaves, cleaning and maintaining the house, as well as feeding and caring for the animals. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time. You will have your own private room, and I will provide breakfast and one warm meal each day. If you enjoy cooking in a holistic and nutritious way, you are more than welcome to do so. I am always happy to share my knowledge about healthy food and learn from others as well. I am not just looking for someone to help with daily tasks—I would like to offer a meaningful cultural exchange and create a positive experience together. If you are interested in me...

You will like it here! We need help in our garden in the next months, e.g. watering, weeding, cutting branches and so on. It is not hard work! We are a little unconventional community of 4 persons (67,66,72,75), 1 friendly dog and 2 playful cats and we live in a cosy house surrounded by a garden. Our children are on their own, but they sometimes visit us. We raise our own organic vegetables in several raised beds and normal garden beds. There is always something to do in the garden and around the house or walking the dog, cleaning windows and so on... We live in a small rural village in the beautiful hills of the "Odenwald". Our village is located roughly between Heidelberg and Frankfurt, also Mannheim and Darmstadt can be visited easily. There is a good public transportation to all these cities. The Odenwald is a famous hiking region and ideal for mountain biking, a bike is available. There is a climbing rock not far from our house. We speak English quite fluently and some French. ...

Who are we ? Hello ! My name is Marlene, I live in a small coffee farm near Fusagasuga with my family: my husband Omar Ricardo, my son Joseph who is 16 years old, and my mother in law Modesta. I am a professor of middle school and I work half a day, except on weekends, but Omar Ricardo, Joseph and Modesta are always here in the farm. It's only been a year and a half since we have been living here in the country, as we were before living in Bogota and then Fusagasuga. Our names are Jason and Molly. We are looking for someone who is wholesome and earthy to look after our two girls who are 2.5 and 5 years old 5 days a week for a couple/few hours a day. We want someone who can initiate activities with the girls as well as just simply ‘be’ with them. Interest in gardening/ nature and animals is key to avoiding going down the AI direction that the world might potentially be going in and we want you to help steer our kids away from this. No screen time! (We don’t mind you going on your phone in your free time though!!). We will ask you to clean the house for roughly 45 minutes a day and sometimes there will be some extra organising and deeper cleaning which might be instead of hanging out with the girls. We really want someone who is happy to get stuck in to our way of life. We won’t ask you to cook too often but we want someone who has an interest in healthy and inventive eating, preferably without dietary requirements (unless small ones). We will be ab...

Sorry folks, but we are now fully booked until the beginning of September 2026. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, self defense, jewellery making, or help Tony with his self defense book and video courses, we could be a great match. Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily.

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather.

Most work here is of the off-season Autumn/Winter kind. And over the summer our variable schedules mean it is often not feasible to plan hosting Helpx people too far in advance. CURRENT JOBS are all outdoors - Help redraw and remake a grass labyrinth. Clear overgrown steps and pathways. Cutting down overgrown gorse/furze/whins. Cutting back emerging briars Help make a little landing stage on the shore. Clearing around trees. Collect fallen and pruned branches from garden Use chop saw to cut up firewood. Some indoor wall painting. There is also the possibility of minding, feeding and walking 2 dogs if I go away for a night or two. There may be some harvesting of fruits, nuts and acorns. There is a small vegetable plot that may need some care. I have spent over 25 years turning my 1.3 coastal and exposed acres into woodland and varied habitats. I now need some Autumn/Winter/Spring help with various seasonal jobs as they arise. Where possible, I would be mostly working alongside and...

Good morning;. I went on the Wagon Train in Montana like every other year. We had a bad wreck, both of us got hurt. My ribs are not broken but the Doctor said they would be better if they were broken. The pain is horrid. Please come help me as I can do nothing. I tried to ride the ride on mower last evening but the pain was too great. Now I need more help as I can do nothing due to pain. My helper who has been here just over 3 years [yes years],moved . He works in town full time, stayed here for free and helped with chores. I really need the help. I do need someone for the winter months for sure. I have had 2 really great helpers already this spring. Not as much to do as most years. Painting will have to get done this year. That is outside on the little buildings. 2 barn doors need repairs. Please respond when I send an invitation. I wait and wait and so many do not reply. Thank you to those who do. Due to my health, i have gotten behind.. I hope to see many more new friends in 2026...

Permaculture Nursery looking for helpers starting July 1st, 2026! Hello!  We're a permaculture plant nursery specializing in rare perennial vegetables and salad greens, along with berry bushes, fruit and nut trees and multi-purpose plants.  We sell plants that we grow from seeds, cuttings and divisions.  We also host workshops on edible landscape design, and give tasting tours of our demonstration gardens.  We're looking for 1 or 2 Wwoofers starting July 6th (or thereabouts) for help with potting up plants, planting gardens, weeding, watering plants and mulching gardens (among other exciting tasks!).  We're building a farm by hand: there are no machines in use (besides an electric lawn mower).  We're passionate about sustainable living and have extensive experience designing food forests and tinkering with various appropriate technologies.  You'd have a private room in a newly renovated old farmhouse, with shared access to the kitchen, living room & bathroom. We also have a nifty sol...

We are a couple who have bought a piece of land with a house in Mallorca, and we need a hand to help us to renovate the house and take care of the garden. Andrada is just coming at weekends, but I am working there full time. The big value we expect from the volunteers is the company, due to Andrada only staying here at weekends, during the week I am alone, and to share a time with people is a big help. Also, we are people that in the past travel a lot, and we miss the cultural exchange. For daily task here are some examples, help with construction tasks, such as making cement, painting, gardening or cleaning.

Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. If you have something you are passionate about and want to share with others, we would love for you to run a workshop.

We also live with our 2 dogs and 2 cats who are very friendly. I am a professor of middle school and I work half a day, except on weekends, but Omar Ricardo, Joseph and Modesta are always here in the farm. It's only been a year and a half since we have been living here in the country, as we were before living in Bogota and then Fusagasuga. That's why our farm still needs a lot of improvement :) About our farm : Our farm is in the middle of the country, at 25 minutes by car and 30 minutes by bus of Fusagasuga. The bus stop is at 10 min by feet and pases each half-our. If you need we can take you in Fusagasuga by car: We have 3 hectares of property, in which we cultivate coffee and other trees like, guanabana, platan, cacao, mangoes, avocados, oranges, lemon, mandarine. You can taste and enjoy ...

It is surrounded scraggy mountains and long valley walks. It is perfect for hiking or just relaxing in the sun with a good book. Within easy traveling distance for those interested in exploring this culturally rich island, is the seaside town of Cefalù or even the main capital city of Palermo, both are easily accessible by bus and train from the lo...

I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

June 2026 update. Carpentry help, painting, gardening, Carpentry Gardening Painting Building Hello, I am an Irish woman renovating a 170yr old cottage in the woods in Värmland. We have converted the attic into a lovely bright and spacious 50m2 room that would be plenty of space for 2-3 people. There are also plenty of soft green areas for camping and camper van. The surrounding forest is full of gorgeous wandering trails which lead to beautiful crystal clear lakes perfect for swimming. I would appreciate the help of about 1-2 strong people and will provide 3 organic (where possible) vegetarian meals per day, bed with bed linen, and meditation guidance if wished in exchange for 5 hours help per dayo. I'm happy to discuss other fair exchange arrangements in our pre aarrival communication. A carpenter, plumber or electrician would be fantastic!! There's great pizza 2km away or if you are exploring the city of Karlstad (45mins by bus) or Filipstad (20km)there are lots of great...

This is a small farming property ten minutes drive or around 30mins bike ride from the coastal town of Esperance. There is a comfortable sleep-out available or a room in the main house. The adjacent bush and wetlands provide kangaroos and birdlife for the nature lovers. Helpers may enjoy feeding the sheep and cows or other farm related tasks and there is always firewood to split for the wood stove. The 4 alpacas enjoy some attention too. Expect an international flavour as current occupants include travellers from Argentina, Italy China and New Zealand. It is important to understand that there is no public transport into Esperance, any visitors will need their own transport.
