*** Looking for 1-2 girls to assist with housekeeping and gardening around the lodge from March *** Hi there! We have a large modern house 70m from the beach in Anakiwa and 30 mins by road from Picton. There are kayaks here, excellent bush walks and a beautiful relaxed seaside environment. Our kiwi family regularly hosts young volunteers (wwoofers/helpers/interns) from our international visitors. You are treated like a member of our family, you live within our private household, share your background and experience our daily life in New Zealand. As with family members, there are no formal contracts or payment, your input is fully voluntary and you are free to depart at any time. Volunteers normally help out for 3-4 hrs per day with the afternoons/evenings free to relax. Tasks are typically gardening, house cleaning, laundry, helping with meals (vegetarians welcome, but sorry we are not vegetarian!) and generally assisting around the property with misc tasks that suit your talent...

We run a well-known organic market garden in the Alpes Maritime, right on the Riviera coast and the Italian border. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and popular with tourists. Our garden is on mountain terraces above the town, but only a 10 minute walk to the beach and 20 to the old town. Access is easy by train or bus from Nice or Italy. For the next 5 months we are looking for hands-on and experienced support with a number of urgent tasks. This could be a paid situation for an experienced person willing to contract for the season which ends 30 September. The work includes sowing, planting, fertilising, harvesting for market, basic landscaping, fencing, irrigation repair and DIY/maintenance and will probably best suit a fit and younger male helper. We may also take 1 or 2 experienced volunteers for shorter periods. As a produce grower, our crops include organic lemons, oranges, avocados, vegetables. Leaf crops and herbs. These we sell at a combination of local market, hig...

"I'm an early retired gentleman with a wonderful garden. I have 2 free bedrooms for my volunteer guests. I can accommodate 2 people but no couples please. I have many years experience with people staying in my home and enjoy their energy and both learning from them and sharing my life experience with them. I seek people with a high level of conversational English, ideally C1 English where we can engage freely and exchange ideas and learn from each other. Ideally, helpers would have an open and curious personality, meaning that they are happy to share and their ideas about the world we live and particularly a love of nature especially plant life.. I particularly admire artists, writers and musicians. My priority is to have some company and energy in my home. Activities include long walks, board games, tending garden, watching TV shows and conversations. In general the active time will be 5 hours a day / 5 days a week. Most of the active time will be just hanging out having chats, playi...

This beautiful, 2.5 hectare garden, set in the heart of Haute-Normandie Pays de Caux near the English Channel and whose light inspired the Impressionist movement, which can be loosely translated as an Arthouse garden. This is not a run of the mill HelpX destination. There is a real opportunity to learn and have a totally unique experience while staying in the 17th century Priory in the centre of the garden. Cécile, the gardening artist or artistic gardener (she conforms to both), welcomes you to join her in this artistic gardening adventure. Previous experience of gardening and some basic French are welcome but not essential as Cecile can get by in English, Spanish and German and will teach you all you need to know; the work, of course, changes with the seasons and can be a variety of brute force and delicate sensitivity but never forgetting that this is an artistic adventure and is open to the public. Help Xers are invited to food and accommodation in return for an average of 5/6 ho...

Hi guys!! I recently moved to Asturias, North of Spain, where I live with an adorable young dog who loves to play. I am in the process of improving sustainability and rehabilitating a small barn (structure ok, near basics renovation). This year I'd like to focus on the field, mostly developing a vegetable garden and building fences to put some animals. I'd love to collect rain waters and energy from the sun so if you have some experience with these technologies, welcome! Regarding the barn, the structure is good, it mostly needs isolation. The hours are quite flexible, but I expect 5h/day, 5 days a week in exchange for accommodation and food. There are 2 rooms available; 1 with a double bed, the other with 2 beds. Regarding the food, we share 3 meals a day, no strict diet, everyone is welcome we adapt. On your free time, there is the beach 30' away with some waves for those who like surfing. There are plenty of beautiful hikes in the area (at the doors of the picos europa and Covadong...

Thanks to all the helpers that have given us a hand. We close for the Winter months and look for help again in March 2026. So if you are self motivated and planning ahead, send us a message and we will get back to you. We are in the countryside, a bus passes our gate 3 times a day. There are a few bicycles to borrow. Lovely walks through the Woods. Take a day trip to see Cliffs of Moher, visit Galway. Listen to Irish music in one of our local pubs. You can help out in the Garden, chopping wood, watering plants and vegetables to light domestic duties. When we get time we get more creative as it's a big property and there is always something to do. You will live in your own quarters with other volunteers. Food is included. Also WIFI. The day typically starts at 11am and finishes 4pm with a break in-between. Two days off to go and explore the area. We prefer to get people for a minimum of 3 weeks stay. Let us know if you are interested and message us with your profile.

At our off- grid solar, wood and gravity powered homestead you can live very close to Nature and learn by helping, how to grow your own food in the big, fully caged vegie garden/ orchard and some of how to build a bush cabin (it could be a winning strategy in years to come). We are long term, committed advocates, for climate change action and we've lived with Sustainability and Creating a low "Carbon Footprint" in mind, for 40 yrs now, settling here, (inland of Taree / Port Macquarie) from scratch in 1980, on 680 acres of rocky ridge forest on the wild and steep NW edge of the Bulga Plateau, 500m above sea level (a very beautiful but challenging location)! Watch our YouTube video below, about our community and us, made by the very talented helpxer, Louie Ablett. Three of us live here now, myself 74, David 84 and Sue 64, who started as a WWOOFer and has moved here with the help of a voluntary activity agreement through Centrelink for over 55s'. Sue came in September 2019 , lost th...

I completed courses in Eco building, including Rammed Earth, Straw Bale, Earthships, Cob, Hemp and Green Roofing. I mostly trained with the Brighton permaculture trust. I have been Bio-Dynamically and Organically food growing and have now embarked on a new project. My current project includes establishing a self sustaining small holding and two Eco building projects. I have a large vegetable garden that is chemical free and a cob oven and outside fire pit. The projects that I am working on at the moment are a 2 storey extension, a glass bottle wall building, and a barn renovation. I'm also making a sauna and steam room. Hi, I’m Keith. Since 2012, hundreds of volunteers from many countries have helped our projects. We are very grateful for their help and many have become our good friends and come back for a second, third or even fourth visit! In 2020 I started a new project in a town in Northern Ireland. It’s a campus that focuses on peace building education. Our aim is to creatively and sensitively explore the resistances to peacebuilding - knowing that such resistance can resource transformation. It’s not a commercial business, but a “not-for-profit” that needs lots of volunteers! We have three types of volunteers. 1. We live in a nature sanctuary on Corfu island in Greece. we are a COMMUNITY of PLANTS, ANIMALS AND HUMAN BEINGS, who try to live together IN THE SPIRIT OF NATURE. we are organized similar to a zen monastery. yet we are not affiliated to any religious body, but to the holy body of our mother earth. the earth takes care of us. the earth gives to us what we need. she gives us and she for-gives us – she never asks for money… we admire the communities in nature (ecosystems), where all members balance their needs and gifts in a healthy way, without money, without machines and without chemicals. here in NATURE’S SANCTUARY we try to live in harmony with nature. we try to support and protect all our nature brothers and sisters, who share this sanctuary with us… it is a CHALLENGE TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE. it is a challenge to protect and support all nature beings in a way, that they have the chance to live in their own natural born communities. we are looking for people, who want to take...

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...

Hello Travellers, we are a Belgian couple living in the French Champagne-Ardennes region for 12 years now , a very green and rural environment. We are renovating a 200 year old building for holiday let. Our property is on a terrain of 25 acres with woodland, ponds and streaming waters. We speak several languages (Dutch, French, English en a bit of German) Because our time is mostly used inside, we are looking for help for the work outside. We don't want a park but maintain nature, trimming the edges of the ponds, stream and other outside jobs. Also, some help with the renovation of the building is appreciated (painting, woodwork...), there are various jobs and if you are interested, you can learn a thing or two.. We are ideal located for forest/nature lovers. You can walk for hours in the large forest and we are also directly connected to "les voies vertes" an European cycle route, witch crosses the French county.

We are an operating farm. Mostly silviculture. We farm mostly trees. We are situated in one of the largest Cork Tree areas in the world.Mediterranean forest ecoystems are considered one of the most important ecosystems right after Virgin Forests. We also have lots of pine trees both for lumber and also for pine nuts. Cork and pine nut trees are a very sustainable resource as their lifespan is over 200 years and they produce cork and pine nuts during that time. We pride ourselves for being an environmentally responsible farm and we enjoy teaching volunteers and visitors about what we do. We are a Forest Stewardship Council certified farm. FSC is a worldwide recognized organization that certifies socially and environmentally respectful organizations like ours, that harbour and follow, strict guidelines for workers, neighbouring populations and the environment. We are audited on a regular basis. This programme was created in 2010 by a small group of English teachers who have been working for several years alongside Native Speakers. The reason that we created this programme is to help the local students and give them the opportunity to learn English with English speaking-people. Cianjur is a non-touristy place with few travellers, so meeting english-speaking people is particularly valued here. In 2013, our programme was recommended by The Lonely Planet Guide Book. The programme was founded by five locals; the team are enthusiastic and passionate about improving the local student’s English. The team: Irwan Kumis, who is fluent in English, has been teaching primary school English for 9 years, as well as working for several years as a guide for Western travellers. He previously worked for a German NGO, Forder-und Interessengemeinschaft, as a volunteer in post-Tsunami Reconstruction and Development on Sabang–Weh Island–Aceh. He studied Economics at a University in Cianjur and ...

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

Hi, we are a family that lives in the south of Italy in the beautiful region of Puglia; in the countryside but not too far from the sea. We have a family-run business in the Cisternino countryside, with holiday homes for tourists, riding stables and recreational activities. Looking for a person who can help in various activities; really interested in the life of the campaign and learning different tasks such as: carpentry, wrought iron, construction, painting, maintenance of the garden and agriculture, but also request for help in the relationship and management of tourists who stay with us. Excellent opportunity for those looking for complete experiences in the field of crafts and tourism and in the relationship with nature and animals. Having 4 children already, we only look for completely independent and flexible people. Musicians and artists in general are welcome (Juan the owner is also a musician). There is a chance to learn how to work wood and iron and many other things. It's ...

Our Place is a cultural association and a meditation center as well as a space for personal growth groups. It includes a small biological farm of 6 hectares situated in Tuscany at the foot of the Macchia della Magona and is 7 kms away from the sea along the wine route to Bolgheri. The main activities are the meditation center and farming. Often we are a group of friends who wish to live together in harmony, friendship and meditation. We are 2 people sharing the place with many friends helping. It is a beautiful nature spot. We produce olive oil, jam, herb salt and firewood for our own consumption. Your help is needed all year round, in springtime for the pruning of 250 olive trees and 50 fruit trees and in autumn for the harvest of the olives. We are tending a herb garden and produce every year marmalades, mainly figs. In the colder season, we are cutting firewood in the forest for heating the houses. Our beautiful park with ancient trees needs some grass cutting. Further jobs to be do...

Experiment the French countryside in a modern house Hi Champagne travelers ! I’m a Valérie, 60 yo and I live by myself in a modern home in the countryside of the “Marne” 45min away from Reims and 10min away from Châlons-en-Champagne I have 2 adult daughters, one leaving in Lille in the North of France and the other traveling and being a helper abroad ! I have a large plot of land around my house, a small orchard and a lot of shrubs and plants. I’ve rented my daughter’s room on airbnb for several years so I'm used to welcome people in my house but as I live alone sometimes it’s hard to take care of the property by myself and that’s why I would be keen on welcoming from time to time some helpers ! I prioritize short stays of 1 or 2 weeks - mainly during march, april, october, november. Or house keeping when iam traveling. You would stay on the first floor with your own room and bathroom and we share the rest of the house. There’s Wi-Fi and the television. You would be provided 3 meals...

Hola todas! My place is an old grain mill with half a hectare of land. I live here for more than 17 years and hosted many volunteers. Work is mostly in the garden. Weeding, digging, planting, watering, harvesting and off course eating. There is a big cat family living on the land. Help in the kitchen is welcome. Special dietary requirements must be met by the helpers. In the area there are many activities possible. More yoga teachers than there are yoga students. Meditations, dancing, healing, massage, channeling, singing,....! Many communities of all sorts (hippy, midwives, subud, soefie). Hiking in all directions. Even skiing starting beginning of December. I try to keep a healthy environment, so no drugs that cloud your spirit. No dogs either. People mostly stay between one and two weeks. Work is about 5 days a week, 4 hours a day. Food and lodging included. Flexible. Work depends on peoples abilities. Any questions? Always happy to explain! Ruud

1. Volunteers - help with site work, painting, maintenance, cooking, cleaning, maintenance, office work. They come for a couple of months, though sometimes a shirt as two weeks or as long as a year! 2. Interns - come for at least 2 months, often 3 or 4 months or longer, and do work such as research related to their studies, marketing, accounts, social media, fundraising and grant...

From the agricultural antiques you may be cleaning and organizing, to working in the gardens. W...

Hello Helpers, My husband and I live in the magnificent Bay Of Islands. We overlook the marina, have Kiwis in our garden and are 5 minutes walk to 2 beaches. Lots of beautiful walks close by. 30 minutes to Matauri Bay and Whangaroa Harbour. 40 minutes to Paihia. You can visit Cape Reinga in a day, from here. We are 15 minutes drive from Kerikeri township, shops and restaurants, so YOU WILL NEED A CAR. We need help with our large garden, cleaning, painting, window cleaning, building garden steps and general maintenance around our property. We also have an old wooden yacht that always needs some love and attention. We would like your help at mealtimes and we would love to have you cook some of your favourite dishes. We prefer people who eat most things. You must like dogs. Our very friendly dog, Tama, loves walks and games. We offer meals, WiFi and a nice, queen size bedroom. We can be flexible with work times.

Ruud
