We are a couple from Austria and we live since january 2014 in the middle of the Swedish nature together with around 25 Alaskan Huskies. Our farm is in the middle of now-where at the beginning of Swedish Lapland and you can expect a lot of nature, lakes, woods and a lot of wild animals like bears, lynx, moose, reindeers and many different kind of birds. You can help us with training and feeding the dogs, cleaning the kennels. In wintertime there is also help needed with snow shoveling. You should speak german or have at least B1 with your english skills and you should also be able to work sometimes alone. There is plenty of spare time, to explore the nature and the surrounding. Looking for help on a Tillage & Suckler to beef farm in the south east of Ireland, near beautiful beaches and walking distance to village. Close to Rosslare Europort, 100km south of Dublin. We have our own machinery, tractors (John Deere & Fendt), Claas TT Combine, Baler and all other tillage equipment. We also make our own silage & hay. This is only the second school in Nagarkot, nice Nepalese village in Bhaktapur district; a 1.5 hrs bus ride from Kathmandu. It hopes to provide an English medium education for underprivileged children. The school has 7 staff members taking care of its 80+ students - aged from 4 to 12 years old - and would benefit from any help volunteers can provide. Volunteers can expect to as class helpers and also share teaching tips with the school if they can. Volunteers can also help beautify the classrooms murals to help the kids as visual aids during their school time. Becoming an independent class teacher is also an option for long-term volunteers as soon as they have a grasp on the school's curriculum and vision for students. If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. We are Said (36) from the Sahara and Linde (33) from the Netherlands. It is our pleasure to meet you here in Project Bani Hayoune Garden! Said comes from a big Amazigh-Tuareg family. After growing up in the Sahara desert and living many years a nomadic life, his family settled down in a village called Tagounite. Now Said lives next to the small village Beni Hayoun, 4 kilometers outside Tagounite. Here, we are working on recovering 200-year old adobe house. Behind the house there is a large garden which needs a lot of care and work. Our aim is to make the land green again, bring the oasis life back and to grow enough food for us and for the community.
