We are a small organic olive farm, not yet in commercial production and animal refuge. We practice permaculture and the olives are part of a `forest garden` which also includes 200 cork oaks, carob and other trees and shrubs. We also have a vegetable garden and fruit trees . Hi! This is a large riverside property about 12 minutes drive from Cairns city. The property has a swimming pool and beautiful views over the Barron River and to the mountains. There are horse paddocks and a few animals (horses, cats, dog, chickens, ducks) on the property, as well as plenty of wildlife to see. This is a certified organic macadamia nut orchard situated on 10ha in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park. We can pick helpers up from Swanson train station, which is 6km away. Having your own transport would enable you to explore the beautiful west coast beaches. Bethells Beach/Te Henga is 10km further down the road. Helpers activities are seasonal, and may include harvesting macadamia nuts in winter; processing the nuts; shelter belt maintenance; firewood splitting; weed grubbing and minimal gardening. Our farm is located on the coast in Bookara, which is located 20km north of Dongara and 45km south of Geraldton. Dongara is situated roughly 360km from Perth and is a beautiful town. Has its own port also, which is called Port Denison, so twin towns! Port Denison is renowned for having some of the biggest Cray Fishing boats in Australia. They are great to see. Geraldton is a 30min drive from our farm and is a rural city. We are surrounded by some great things, the Midwest has to offer. Hi guys The work is varied depending on the weather and we have lots of little project going on. Help is maybe four hours a day and own room and food we feed you well. At the moment we need some help with a few jobs around the place and mostly outside and pat could do with some help outside. There are lots of lovely walks on farm. We have a mixed farm on Swanpool Creek, in Swanpool (north east Victoria) with a farmhouse on the top of a hill with views of the surrounding mountains. We have a vineyard that produces award winning wine (Chardonnay and Shiraz grapes), a eucalyptus tree plantation, a large garden (as well as a veggie garden) and a small flock of Dorper sheep, an alpaca, 3 horses and some chickens. We are looking for people that would be willing to stay for a minimum of 4 days and work about 5-6 hours a day/5 days a week in exchange for comfortable accommodation and delicious home cooked meals. We are a very relaxed semi retired couple with a lifestyle block with animals,lots of native birds and a small orchard Would prefer 2 people or a couple who are able to do some at times solid physical work like transferring small trailer loads of mulch and soil into gardens and moving firewood as an example Because of some health issues at present we need a hand to get things up to date for us to continue maintaining. We Have two bedrooms as add on to main house with own shower and toilet. Our Property is 3km from main town so would need own vehicle to explore the beautiful area in downtime . The helper accommodation is a double room in a 200 year old Cotswold stone house located in a small village near Stroud. There’s woodland above and it’s in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty backing on to the Toadsmoor valley. The house is 35 mins walk from Stroud town centre. There are a few shops in the village as well as a pub nearby. The house is surrounded with the hills and countryside on your doorstep and lovely views. From the garden...great for forest walks and exploring the Cotswolds. English, Spanish and French is spoken. I have my child with me half the week.. Kia ora guys, We live in a small west coast beach village about 35-40 minutes from central Auckland called Muriwai Beach. It is one of NZ`s most stunning and wildest beaches. We have a half acre section that always needs little things doing and the house is slowly being worked on as well so experience in building or skilled labour is always cool as well as people who like to work in the gardens and landscape. We have a daughter who is 11 years old who loves playing in the outdoors, tending her veggie garden and meeting people from all over the world. Looking for anyone interested in helping on our 60ha/150 acre Certified Organic family farm. Accommodation is in an adjacent self-contained cottage so we can cater for small groups or couples. We are located 100 kms west of Cairns with buses from Cairns to Mareeba daily. On our farm we grow tea tree, limes, various vegetable crops and cattle. Work mainly includes, fruit picking (photo), packing (photo), mulching, weeding, gardening, propagating, livestock, fencing & irrigation repairs. . Fishing and boating days when we can get away. Enjoy the privacy of a self contained Cabin with unlimited WIFI and TV on a separate driveway set on a dry stock (beef) farm less than one hour from Auckland city. By car it less than one hour North of Auckland’s Harbour Bridge. And if you have your own transport the East Coast beaches are nearby. Over 26 years, there has been extensive landscaping and we are able to grow many subtropicals. With mild winters, there is always plenty of garden maintenance to do. Currently, we are tidying up and replanting around our shrubberies. If you are physically fit, strong, enjoy gardening and being outdoor appeals, please get in touch.
