We enjoying watching movies together, and Monday and Wednesday kids do football. Sometime needing someone to house sit when we are away. You won’t do much with the kids only make sure they are awake for school but they will cook for them selves so ur main duties is to walk the dogs and keep house clean and look after cats also You will be one of the family and we would like u to come join us when we go places, unless u want to chill out at home that is also no problem... Kids go to their dads every second weekend. You are free to travel and explore different towns in your free time, which I can bring you to the bus stop. You have a lot of free time. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats.

I am into music (composing/playing); Alternative health / medicine ; Electronics / Engineering / technology ; Anything weird wacky unusual unexplained strange secret, and business combining most of the above, ;) .. The world is full of amazing things and possibilities and Life can never be dull for the seeker with an open mind. During the warmer months me and my crew travel to various outdoor music festivals around Aust...

We are Murielle and Luc living in Auvergne in a hamlet in the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park at 750 m above sea level. The house is surrounded by forests and grasslands. We live 10 mn by car from the city of Ambert and 1H15 from Clermont-Ferrand. Our life is simple. We enjoy nature, animals, gardening, and hiking with our donkeys. We like peace and quietness. We have hens, ducks, rabbits, cats, one turtle, guinea pigs and donkeys. Our pets are rescue animals and we are very attentive to their needs and well being. We also have a very small apiary. If you are an animal lover, if you love nature, this is the job for you. You will help us with the care to the animals (feeding, cleaning animals and their shelters), and fence installation because not all of our land is fenced yet. We also need help to cu...

Hello, and thank you for looking at our page/profile! We are looking for a helper (1 person) during the summer (2026) for a 2 week period, maybe longer. Starting in June and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn. Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All these tasks we do together. Further work includes simple window washing, exterior window and door painting. Saturday house cleaning, gardening, pool cleaning, ironing sheets for the rentals, etc. We are chefs from New York City so we offer great food and comfortable accommodation though we do not do cooking classes to our helpx friends. In the summer time when weather permits, you have a deluxe caravan for your home. You must be very neat and punctual for work...

I am a veterinarian and I opened this shelter over 10 years ago. It was my dream and it is a miracle that it still exists; thanks to the support of a French animal welfare association, ASDM, through which come donations from friends and supporters mostly abroad, as well as adoptions. It is difficult to rely on employees here in Tunisia where, in the popular culture, animals are not very much liked ! I live here with my husband, my teenage twin sons having just left to study in France; having been raised living daily with animals, they have had an unusual childhood compared to other Tunisian children: they have learned empathy and love of animals ! They have had, like us, their parents, the opportunity to learn about other cultures and people, so you are very welcome here in our home. Behind our property there are trails and lots of open space lined with vegetable crops, fruit orchards, and you'll probably meet one of the shepherds herding their sheep along the way. It's perfect for g...

Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

We are young married couple coming from very different cultures and upbringings. We are living our dream of experiencing what it means to be alive as a proper human being. And that on our own land in one of the most beautiful and wild corners of Scotland. We aspire to become self sufficient in all we need for a happy and healthy life. Our house and the main parts of the croft lie on a hill with a breathtaking view onto Oldshoremore Beach. The view from our living room or from the garden invite for frequent moments of still admiration and gratitude. Alexa grew up on a Finca in the jungle of Costa Rica within her tribe, the Boruca. She was born into a lineage of healers and comprehends deeply the ways of plants and other beings. She learned from her elders about natural health, herbal remedies and energy work. Daniel is a proper German (well...one of the easy-going ones) and traveled for 7 years around the world, learning from Zen Buddhists how to open his heart, and from Indigenous ...

UPDATE August 2026: Dear volunteers, thanks a lot for all the requests and to those that came here to help and share stories and time together. For this summer the calendar is full, I am waiting to welcome the last helpers in September, and then in October I will be leaving for a couple of months to travel a little bit myself :) See you next year in the spring! :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dear volunteers, my name is Nicola, I'm 32 and I live (and grew up) in a farmhouse in the not much known north-eastern corner of Italy, Friuli. I opened this host profile in 2018, when I was helping my dad running his free range pigs farm. During that time I had the luck to host some amazing volunteers, and even tho it feels like ages ago I still keep great memories of that experience. Nowadays things have changed a bit: my dad is not around anymore, I am not keeping as many animals as we used to do back then, and the place is not run as ...

************ PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE APPLYING ******** Hi! I'm Brì (39 years old) and I live with my little daughter Nina (2 years old). I'm a single mother, recently separated, and I'm rebuilding a new balance with my daughter. In the past I also traveled as a helper. I crossed the Atlantic to Cuba and lived for a year on a boat in the Caribbean, then hitchhiked through Eastern Europe. I truly believe in cultural exchange and in sharing everyday life in a simple and authentic way. Now we live in Milan and I’m looking for someone who would like to share a bit of our daily rhythm and help me keep our home peaceful and well organized, so I can spend more quality time with Nina. I work during the day and in the evenings I dedicate most of my time to my daughter, so I’m not always very present — and I prefer to be honest about that. What I can offer is something different: • A real immersion in everyday Italian life in Milan. • A lively, international home where friends, colleagu...

English version below. In recent years we ...

Since 2012, hundreds of volunteers from many countries have helped our projects. We are very grateful for their help and many have become our good friends and come back for a second, third or even fourth visit! In 2020 I started a new project in a town in Northern Ireland. The building is a former back-packers hostel which we are gradually turning into campus. that focuses on peacebuilding education. Our aim is "to creatively and sensitively explore the resistances to peacebuilding - knowing that such resistance can resource transformation". We are not a commercial business, but a “not-for-profit” that is run by volunteers. We have three types of volunteers. 1. Volunteers - help with site work, painting, maintenance, cooking, cleaning, maintenance, office work. They come for a couple of months, though sometimes a shirt as two weeks or as long as a year! 2. Interns - come for at least 2 months, often 3 or 4 months or longer, and do work such as research related to their stud...

Hello! We are looking for a volunteer to help us during September and October with building raised garden beds and reorganising our garden. We are a family of four, with two children aged 7 and 3. We also have two dogs and three cats. We live in a peaceful rural setting near Râșnov, Romania. In exchange for your help, we offer accommodation and meals, with a private guest room upstairs in our home. The work will mainly involve practical outdoor tasks: building and installing the garden beds, assembling wooden structures and helping us reorganise the garden. We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being outdoors and a quiet countryside environment. If you’re interested, feel free to message me and we can discuss the project, dates and details. 😊

Currently looking for keen and energetic people who can join us in making our piece of Paradise even better while you have a memorable lifetime experience that will enrich your life. We love sharing who we are and what we have to inspire others to thrive on the land while working with and amongst nature. We want to show you how to be comfortable in nature; to re-learn how to be a part of nature rather than apart from nature. We have two rooms exclusively for HelpX guests; one room with a double bed, the other with a bunk bed. You have your own bathroom and toilet. We also have our delightful Avan; a compact caravan that has a double bed and a single bed for those who want to live more out amongst nature. We have a range of projects on offer, depending upon our needs at the time and your enthusiasm, skill set, interests and desire to learn new things. Some of the options include building our bushfire resilience and working on maintaining and invigorating ou...

Stays of up to ONE WEEK - SUNDAY to SATURDAY are our preference but we may also consider longer stays so just ask. Diamond Beach, Shelly Beach, and Redhead are within easy walking distance from the property, but we'll drive you to Black Head Beach and several other quiet secluded beaches which are just a short 5-minute drive away. We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

Preference will be given to helpers with a genuine interest in learning about NZ dairy farming and animal husbandry. We love sharing what we do and prefer to host helpers with a desire to learn. We run a boutique dairy farm, milking a small herd of much loved cows and selling raw milk to our wonderful customers Starting a new business is hard work and not for the faint-hearted. If you consider yourself up for the challenge of helping us, we'd love to hear from you! We offer a family environment with opportunities for farm work, housework, gardening and cooking. There is a wide variety of work available. Working with the animals of course, weed control, plus fencing work, painting, carpentry, building and lots of different small tasks to complete. If outdoor work doesn't appeal, help in the house with cooking and cleaning is always appreciated, and the large and previously neglected garden also requires a lot of work. We try to fit the work to each helper's skills and interests, and ...

After an intense house renovation, we are now entering the final phase, focusing on cleaning and refreshing the house. From APRIL (for about one month), we are looking for help with PAINTING work inside and outside, as well as some light gardening tasks such as weeding. This period is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and likes to see visible results at the end of the day. From JUNE onwards, as the weather becomes warmer, the help will mainly consist of daily HOUSEKEEPING tasks (cleaning, ironing), with occasionally some light gardening. We’ve found that this experience works best for people who enjoy staying active and contributing in a practical way to daily life. We truly appreciate volunteers who bring positive energy, a hands-on mindset, and a genuine willingness to help. We are a Belgian family who has been living in France for over 20 years. In our late fifties, we speak French, Dutch, English, and a bit of Spanish. Our home is located in the beautiful r...

Our house and garden is in the town of Órgiva south of the historic city of Granada in the region of Andalucía. Órgiva is situated in a valley called La Alpujarra with the Sierra Nevada mountains to the north and the Sierra Lújar and Contraviesa to the south and the Mediterranean beyond. With a population of 8000, the town has ample amenities with plenty of shops, bars, banks and restaurants. Our property, La Parra ( the Vine), is in the center of town but with an unusually large garden ( 1800m2 ). The majority of help needed will be based in the garden but there may also be odd jobs around the house. We ask our helpers to work 5 hours per day 5 days a week in exchange for board and lodging (good food and great accommodation). We have had helpers from all parts of the world for more than 14 years (formerly we had a large property called Las Chimeneas and the Órgiva Tea Garden) and are very used to enjoying their help and company. We are sociable and our house always enjoys plent...

We have a beautiful 6 hectare property in a really awesome valley. We have animals, a stream, lots of things growing. We have a large 3 bedroom house. We have a warm modern caravan for helpers to sleep in and all the other amenities are in the house. We have 3 awesome kids (only two live at home) and a great family vibe. We need help with working the land and making it as productive as we can. We need people who are hard working and take initiative. Prior experience is great but if you are a fast learner and up for a challenge then that is great too. A love of animals is definitely helpful as well. Projects include - gardening, building, organising, helping with animals, help around the house, fencing, tree planting and more. Cheers Regan and Lisa

My name is Esperanza, I run a language school. I'm looking for an easy going native English speaker to help us with conversation classes and different activities. It is a great educational project where we aim to develop students interest in the language in a natural way. We live in a nice area surrounded by mountains, our house is big , so we recently started an online rental program to meet new people from all over the world. The language school is 8 minutes away on foot from our house. I live with my son, Mikel, who is a university student. While you stay with us, you will be able to take part in lots of activities. Zalla is a town with lots of facilities where you can do nearly everything you can imagine. If you are interested in learning Spanish, we will be more than happy to help you! We live 20 minutes from Bilbao in a lovely town called Zalla. There is a good bus/train service to Bilbao. Volunteers also can visit, Santander, San Sebastian, Burgos, Pamplona either of these ci...

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

Hi, I'm Grant, I am as kiwi as you can get, and l live on a peaceful lifestyle block near Otorohanga (7 minutes away) in the Waikato where l have built a workshop and tiny home, l am off grid with solar, fresh water and gas for hot water and cooking, also use wood for cooking sometimes as well. I'm very fit and healthy, l live a healthy lifestyle, I'm honest, open minded and straight up, l don't accept stress or bullshit in my life and l don't apologize for that. If you can't handle someone honest, positive, hard working and who gives compliments and praise then this is not the place for you. I enjoy the cultural exchange and I'm only interested in helpers who want to live a kiwi lifestyle and be involved in my daily life, ie helping in the kitchen, cooking cleaning, watching movies, working together, I'm not interested in helpers who want to spend their time in their bedroom with the curtains closed, l want you to get involved and enjoy the opportunity you have. We live in a nature sanctuary on Corfu island in Greece. we are a COMMUNITY of PLANTS, ANIMALS AND HUMAN BEINGS, who try to live together IN THE SPIRIT OF NATURE. we are organized similar to a zen monastery. yet we are not affiliated to any religious body, but to the holy body of our mother earth. the earth takes care of us. the earth gives to us what we need. she gives us and she for-gives us – she never asks for money… we admire the communities in nature (ecosystems), where all members balance their needs and gifts in a healthy way, without money, without machines and without chemicals. here in NATURE’S SANCTUARY we try to live in harmony with nature. we try to support and protect all our nature brothers and sisters, who share this sanctuary with us… it is a CHALLENGE TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE. it is a challenge to protect and support all nature beings in a way, that they have the chance to live in their own natural born communities. we are looking for people, who want to take...

This is a very peaceful rural location the last property in a rural hamlet. Just a few steps from the open hills to the north. We are renovating an old farm cottage using green oak framing, lime and traditional stone mason skills. Anyone with these skills or enthusiasm to learn and good attention to detail will be most welcome. There will be additional opportunities to use or develop skills in timber frame building and welding. We keep a small flock of geese and assistance with these and general household tasks is also on the agenda. There is a small raised bed and other structures to grow a bit of food.

We also run a "bed and breakfast" to fruit" the empty rooms of the children...where we receive clients. We need help welco...

Hello, i would be happy for help. There is a lot to do on this place, mostly in the garden. Technical help, e.g. installation of solar panel, building a greenhouse, renovation of an old cattle house would also be needed. A carpenter and a bricklayer would be also great. We are vegetarian ! :-) We are a couple in our best age, and are here since 5 years. We want to build a small place for meditation and Qi Gong here. We want this to become a place for living and coming together. We would be happy to meet you.

My hobbies...
