We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

We live in a nature sanctuary on Corfu island in Greece. we are a COMMUNITY of PLANTS, ANIMALS AND HUMAN BEINGS, who try to live together IN THE SPIRIT OF NATURE. we are organized similar to a zen monastery. yet we are not affiliated to any religious body, but to the holy body of our mother earth. the earth takes care of us. the earth gives to us what we need. she gives us and she for-gives us – she never asks for money… we admire the communities in nature (ecosystems), where all members balance their needs and gifts in a healthy way, without money, without machines and without chemicals. here in NATURE’S SANCTUARY we try to live in harmony with nature. we try to support and protect all our nature brothers and sisters, who share this sanctuary with us… it is a CHALLENGE TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE. it is a challenge to protect and support all nature beings in a way, that they have the chance to live in their own natural born communities. we are looking for people, who want to take...

We run a well-known organic market garden in the Alpes Maritime, right on the Riviera coast and the Italian border. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and popular with tourists. Our garden is on mountain terraces above the town, but only a 10 minute walk to the beach and 20 to the old town. Access is easy by train or bus from Nice or Italy. For the next 5 months we are looking for hands-on and experienced support with a number of urgent tasks. This could be a paid situation for an experienced person willing to contract for the season which ends 30 September. The work includes sowing, planting, fertilising, harvesting for market, basic landscaping, fencing, irrigation repair and DIY/maintenance and will probably best suit a fit and younger male helper. We may also take 1 or 2 experienced volunteers for shorter periods. As a produce grower, our crops include organic lemons, oranges, avocados, vegetables. Leaf crops and herbs. These we sell at a combination of local market, hig...

We are offering travelers a warm, comfortable two-story Celery Top Pine Pole home we built ourself. You will enjoy magical views of the ocean and mountain and will wake to the sounds of the wild birds that flock to our food and water bowls. We are regularly visited by possums, wallaby's and various other wildlife. If you're lucky you may even see a Tasmanian Devil.

Hi You will not regret coming to us! We are looking for helpers to harvest our walnuts from mid March to mid April this year. The work is not difficult and it is a nice environment to work in. Tasks include using a small harvesting machine or hand held nut rollers to pick up the walnuts, then putting them through a washing machine and a sorting machine before they go into drying bins. We live 25 minutes north west of Christchurch on an established property with a big garden, and tennis court. We have a sleepout with a queen sized bed and a spare room also with a queen sized bed in the house. Our house is warm and comfortable. We have tools for fitting out your car/van. We also have a car for sale. There’s plenty of space to relax - we have table tennis, outdoor tennis court, table football, and it’s not far to the beach and mountains. We both like to cook good food from many different countries that we share with you. We have travelled extensively both in New Zealand and in the world....

UPDATE: Volunteer needed in March-early April 2026 to help clear a pasture from big wild bushes and chop wood. Hello. I’m Paul, a recently retired musician. I live in a mountain area made of rounded, wooded peaks in the inland of the Italian Riviera, at the point of connection between two regions, Tuscany and Liguria, widely renown for art towns (Pisa, Lucca, Florence among others) and picturesque fishing villages. It’s a quiet setting to get away from it all, with a 360 degree view stretching for tens of miles and right down to the Mediterranean Sea, only 25 km/15 miles away. Here is where the Alta Via (High Route of the Ligurian Mountains) starts, a long-distance waymarked hiking trail for nature lovers. I speak Italian (native), English (fluent) and French (fluent). I’m looking for volunteers who are self-motivated and good with their hands, willing to help me with general maintenance around my property in exchange for food and lodging in a friendly environment. I appreciate a b...

Hello! We’re a small family - Matt, Tash and our baby girl Toni. We live on a relaxed 10 acre hobby farm with our two friendly dogs, sheep and chickens. We are located just 12 minutes from Warrnambool and Koroit, and about 25 minutes from Port Fairy. We’re surrounded by beaches and volcanic countryside. We’re looking for a helping hand around the property and in the garden with jobs like weeding, raking, planting, chainsawing (if experienced) and general maintenance around the garden and house. Most of the work is outdoors and can be quite physical, so it suits someone active with a positive, can do attitude. You’ll stay in either our spare room in our house, loft room in shed, or a fully equipped caravan, depending on availability. You’ll have access to Wi-Fi, all the usual amenities, a pool to cool down in and a theatre room to relax in during your downtime. We provide breakfast, lunch and dinner and healthy snacks. Helping time can be up to 4 hours a day, sometimes a bit less,...

In 2005, my husband Terje and I, became the proud owners of this place and we spent the next 15 years renovating the property. Today we offer short-term accommodation in this historical building. Guests come to visit from all over the world. They come to Odda and the Hardanger area to experience and explore our unique landscape with glaziers, fjords, mountains, waterfalls, valleys and lakes. Hiking to Trolltunga is undoubtedly the most popular of the tourist attractions offered here in Odda. Other less famous attractions are just as breath-taking. We are a family of seven, with four daughters and a foster son, but our three eldest daughters have recently moved out to work and study. 🌿 Come help on our farm! We need friendly volunteers to join us with cooking, cleaning, gardening, and everyday tasks — no experience needed, just a good attitude and willingness to muck in.We are looking for helpers between the ages of 18 to 32. We are a small community of friends working towards a better life in a beautiful part of rural Devon, in the Tamar River Valley Estuary where you will make friends for life. In exchange for your friendship while you are staying here we will endeavour to teach you new skills that will carry you through life. A small farm in a beautiful location! Our farm and home probably date back to pre 1660's, with many additions since. It has been left to go wild for the last 40 years. The river has otters, seals, beavers, salmon, sea trout, and sea bass. With buzzards and owls overhead. There are deer in the surrounding woodland. The aim for our farm is to give the land back to nature and at the same time create an organic food source that we can freely ...

I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht. I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay. My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house ...

Opportunities for summer vineyard and winemaking work are available now, starting in January 2026. Couples with Visitor visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. We run a well-known organic market garden in the Alpes Maritime, right on the Riviera coast and the Italian border. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and popular with tourists.

We would be most grateful if you would like to come and live with us, and help us with the housekeeping; cleaning, change of bedlinen, reception work, payments, as well as maintenance, carpentry, painting, gardening, childcare, pet care, and other activities like going fishing and having fun.
