Hi there 😊 I’m Sherree, and my dog Ziggy and I live in our beautiful home in South Fremantle, Western Australia. Your accommodation is a cute pop top caravan parked undercover at the front of my house, right next to the front door. All linen, blankets and towels are supplied with a seating area, fridge, cooktop, air conditioning and running water in the van. You have your own bathroom inside the house, downstairs. I am looking for someone who can help me around my home for up to 2 hours per day (14 hours per week). Meals are not included. I need help with general household cleaning duties, organisation, gardening and tidying up outside. Basically someone who loves creating a lovely environment - this is your calling! Alternatively, if you are a handyperson, carpenter, plumber, builder or someone that has experience in renovation, I could also use your help! You must love dogs, as it’s important you interact with Ziggy in a positive and playful manner. She is great at making friend...

Hello :) We are a small German family (Jens 55, Doreen 47 and Sam 8) who emigrated to Norway many years ago. We live on a farm here and now have 43 sheep. We need some help with tasks like cleaning out the stable and feeding them. In addition, there are always several tasks to be done on a farm, such as repairing or building fences, felling trees, sawing wood with a chainsaw or cross-cut saw, preparing winter wood and, if necessary, gardening work such as pulling weeds. You'll be staying in a camper van/caravan parked right next to our house. You'll be able to enter the house at any time and use the bathroom and our kitchen. The camper van, of course, has electricity and Wi-Fi. :)

Enjoy the privacy of a self contained Cabin with unlimited WIFI and TV on a separate driveway set on a dry stock (beef) farm less than one hour from Auckland city. By car it less than one hour North of Auckland’s Harbour Bridge. And if you have your own transport the East Coast beaches are nearby. Over 26 years, there has been extensive landscaping and we are able to grow many subtropicals. With mild winters, there is always plenty of garden maintenance to do. Currently, we are tidying up and replanting around our shrubberies. If you are physically fit, strong, enjoy gardening and being outdoor appeals, please get in touch. All food is provided and in return we ask for five - six hours a day (Sunday’s off). If you can use a weed eater that will be helpful. Many thanks 😊

Welcome to our family-run farm in the village of Charakas, on the island of Crete, Greece. Our journey has been guided by organic farming since 2004, with a deep commitment to working in harmony with nature. Today, we are taking the next step by transitioning to Demeter-certified biodynamic agriculture, with certification expected in 2026. Our farming philosophy is inspired by the rhythms of nature. We plan our work according to the biodynamic sowing and planting calendar, believing that healthy soil, biodiversity, and respect for natural cycles produce healthier plants, better food, and a more balanced ecosystem. Our main product is extra virgin olive oil, which has been internationally recognized with Berlin Global Olive Oil Awards in 2022, 2024, and 2026, including two Gold Awards. Alongside our olive groves, we also produce traditional Cretan raki, grapes, potatoes, rosemary, wild asparagus, and seasonal edible snails. For us, the farm is more than a place of production. It's a...

Hi, We're looking for someone from 6-10th September or after the15th September for a week or so. We’re in rural North Canterbury, only 30 mins drive from. We’re on a 10 acre minifarm with a few sheep and young cattle and a large organic vegetable garden which we eat from every day. By car we're about 7 minutes drive to the sea, an hour to Hanmer Springs, 20 minutes from the Waipara Valley vineyard area. We have bicycles you can borrow to explore locally, and if you like hiking up hills there are a few nice tracks in close driving distance. In fact, I like hiking too, so I can maybe be your guide if I'm not otherwise busy. Accommodation is in a comfortable sleepout (queen bed) and you would use the bathroom in the house and share meals with us. You would be helping me in the garden mostly, but also I usually like some help with housework. If you like cooking I have a nice kitchen for it. We would like about 4 hours work per day for food and accommodation... and, in addition, if I...

Room and simple breakfast of toast, tea or coffee, I can show you where to find free bread and there is generally some rice or pasta you can use, occasionally some fruit and vegetables, or other food included but not guaranteed. Ipswich is a lovely place in itself and is about an hours drive to Brisbane, about an hour to the Gold Coast, about an hour and a half to the Sunshine Coast or about an hour to the mountains in Toowoomba. Many visitors to Australia assume it will be hot here and in summer it is, in winter the temperature can be very cold. Make sure to pack some warm winter clothing if travelling in the winter months. I don't have fans or air conditioning so the temperature is what it is. It's hot in summer and cold in winter. Electricity has become too expensive for me to run heating or cooling appliances. I am not on a farm, it is a residential block in Ipswich. My house is small and cluttered and surrounded by trees. I need help to clean my home as I am always busy doing ...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

⭐️ About our project⭐️ We are a small community school located in Tnol Trong Village, just 13km away from Siem Reap, Cambodia. The school is a registered non-profit NGO, founded in February 2013 by my lovely family. Cambodia is seeing a strong growth in the tourism industry, which will provide an increasing number of employment opportunities in the future, especially for the children around the Siem Reap area and for a career in tourism, English is essential. That’s why our school has one clear goal: to give children from disadvantaged backgrounds free access to English and Chinese education, helping them gain a real chance to access future job opportunities. Our school currently offers FREE English lessons to nearly 180 children from the Bakong community. Many of the local families struggle with basic needs like food, water and health related costs, let alone getting the kids to attend class, afford mandatory school fees and uniforms. Education is often their only real chance to b...

Kia ora! Thanks for your interest in coming to stay in Houghton Bay, Wellington. The local area is full of native bush, plenty of walking tracks (southern walkway, mt albert lookout, red rocks seal colony), beaches for swimming/snorkelling or surfing, and being close enough to the city to enjoy other attractions Wellington has to offer too. Or check out nearby Newtown for opshops, owhiro bay for Carlucciland minigolf with sculpture walkway, or head to thr cinema at Island Bay. About me and why I host: I was born in the uk and, after travelling around the world for about 9mths, I came to nz on a working holiday visa with a plan to be in Wellington for a week. It has been over 20yrs! My 2 kids are now adults and on their own overseas adventures. We used to host via couchsurfing and love meeting people from around the world and hearing their stories or just chatting in general (I love tea!). However a bad back, busy life, trying to renovate, and a section that loves to grow weeds as ...

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

Hello from beautiful Hāwea! We’re looking for enthusiastic helpers to join us. Couples with their own transport are especially welcome. If you have some hands-on experience, even better! We offer private accommodation in a stunning setting just outside Wānaka, along with three delicious meals a day — all in exchange for 4 hours of help daily. The rest of your time is yours to explore the lakes, mountains, and trails nearby.. Our 8-acre organic property is always buzzing with activity. Right now, we need help with gardening, compost making, spring cleaning, and general handyman work. Skills in gardening, carpentry, or building are a real bonus. Where you’ll be: Our property sits on a gentle slope with sweeping views of the mountains, just 15 minutes from Wānaka and near Mt. Aspiring National Park. Locals call this area “The Republic of Hāwea” for its strong, progressive community spirit — and we think you’ll feel that right away. Who we are: We’re Randall, Amanda, and our 14-year-o...

DAYS SPENT WORKING HERE QUALIFY FOR 2nd & 3rd YEAR VISAS, postcode 2469, under bushfire and flood provisions. Spring season general work will include welcoming the birth and subsequent care of many babies, checking them for potential health issues and administering care in the event of any problems tht may arise. Additional work will include: harvesting and preserving winter vegetables, preparing and planting the spring season vegetables, chopping and chain-sawing wood for fires, cleaning and repairing fence-lines and preparing paddocks for spring growth. We are a hybrid family with a 13-year-old daughter with us 50% of the time and 2 personality filled cats. We are looking for someone to join us in July for 4 weeks (or longer). The assistance needed is help around the house and to be home when Abigail gets home from school. As we are in school holidays until the end of July, there will be more time with Abigail. Abigail is a lovely girl (& no, it’s not just us who think so!) She loves reading, board and card games, baking, the trampoline... she's easy to have fun with. She enjoys our international helpers and has created many friendships; most stay in regular contact with us. Sometimes you are required to assist with getting Abigail to and from activities, so a full license is preferred. The overall help requested is a couple of hours per day, Monday to Friday. There is a bit of flexibility as to how these play out. We (Darryl and Theamarie) work fulltime so you would have the house to yourself during the days. Our cats, Nyx and Eros...

In early October 2026, I would like to offer accommodation for up to a week (longer stays to be negotiated) and food in exchange for 3-4 hours work per day: general maintenance, carpentry, painting, gardening, minor repairs, cleaning and possibly pet-sitting my little dog. Helping times are very flexible. The room is airy and comfortable, with 2 single beds. The bathroom is shared with me. I am in need of an independent person who is a self-starter and can work unsupervised. Handyperson and gardening skills and own transportation are essential. There is a bus stop nearby. I am a busy artist living in a funky, eclectic beach property on a quiet street. It is a 5-minute walk to an uncrowded, beautiful surf beach with many walking tracks. The property is 8km south of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, one of Australia's most iconic tourist destinations. Peregian Beach village is only 3km south, with great restaurants, boutique shopping, an IGA, and a patrolled beach. Brisbane is an hour and a h...

Hello travellers, and a warm welcome to beautiful Olinda - I am Vita and delighted to host you. **Currently seeking Helper/s who can work in the garden or use a chainsaw to cut fire wood. Or a carpenter who can help repair weather damaged external timber windows. Or someone with mechanical experience to service chainsaw and lawn mowers. Or a Helper with sewing skills and can use a sewing machine. Or a helper who can restore and refinish furniture. I appreciate self-starters and Helpers with initiative, who do not always need to be told what to do and are capable of putting in a full days work. Weeding and garden work is always a go-to if you are waiting instructions. Helpers will sometimes be left to work by themselves as I don’t always have time to supervise them. Therefore, Helpers who can help with l...

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

This is a traditional family-owned farm which, after years of abandonment, is currently being re-imagined as a sustainable and environmentally-conscious community. Located just 3km from the beach, where the Pampa plain meets the rugged coastline of the Argentinian Atlantic. We are passionate about agriculture, surfing, music, travel, nature and the environment, who want to create a communal space where people from around the world can come to learn about sustainable living and ecological ideals; share delicious organic food from the gardens; surf; tell stories; share knowledge, ideas, culture and language; learn about farming, the environment, or just relax and enjoy the farm and surrounds. The project is in its early stages and we are looking for energetic and responsible individuals wanting to experience and contribute to rural life and communal living close to nature. We are looking for self-motivated individuals to help us out with daily tasks such as helping in the kitchen, kee...

Would suit couple or 2 friends, live in a possibility. Experience not essential, but a can do attitude is. Closed the winter season, we are still busy doing renovations, preparing the gardens or traveling. Trying to be eco-friendly, semi self sufficient, means that we do a lot of gardening in a hands on spray free way (essentially organics, but that is a licensed word), growing our own food for meals, seed raising, planting, picking, preserving the excess to sell or use, there is always something to do and...

Tena koe, nau mai, haramai ki Tokomaru Bay, a small, predominately Maori seaside community on the East Coast. We live on a four acre lifestyle block in the peaceful Kaiawha Valley about a two minute drive from the village and the beach. There is a 4 Square Supermarket, a cafe and a tavern in the village. We have a room with a queen bed in a sleep out, with helpers own separate lounge/kitchenette. Access to washing machine. The bathroom is inside the main house located a few metres away. Most of the work we require is gardening, landscaping, milking cow, feeding animals, preserving food, servicing our Bed and Breakfast (List 1 Historic Places building) firewood, weed eating, mowing and general maintenance. Jan is a teacher and does some casual relieving and Bill works from home developing Te Reo Maori learning resources for our local tribe and teaches Te Reo Maori one day a week. Both of us are involved in our community, at the marae and other activities. We think 'whanau' s...

We are located in the heart of Berlin, one of Europe's most exciting and diverse cities. With its vibrant cultural scene, world-class museums, historic landmarks, countless cafés, parks, and excellent public transport, Berlin is the perfect place to experience urban life while enjoying a welcoming home environment. I would kindly ask you to help with painting, fencing, gardening, sweeping leaves, cleaning and maintaining the house, as well as feeding and caring for the animals. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time. You will have your own private room, and I will provide breakfast and one warm meal each day. If you enjoy cooking in a holistic and nutritious way, you are more than welcome to do so. I am always happy to share my knowledge about healthy food and learn from others as well. I am not just looking for someone to help with daily tasks—I would like to offer a meaningful cultural exchange and create a positive experience together. If you are interested in me...

Hi happy travellers! Looking for people now! We are looking for a couple or 2 friends to help us around our house doing gardening and painting as well as cleaning. Our house is located 5min drive from the beach and have a bus stop at the end of the road. There is a lovely lake at the end of the lane and there are lovely walks around us as we live near National Parkes. We are about 1.15 hour from Sydney by train. We are a family of 4 with very busy lives. On some weekends we also do markets selling handcrafted local jams and chutneys. And during the week we work and the kids do a lot of after school sports.

Looking for someone keen to help out in the vege garden and around the grounds. Maybe some painting involved. No couples please. We live on a beautiful five-acre lifestyle block seven minutes from the vibrant village of Mapua, 15 minutes from Richmond where all services are available. We have two small orchards and a reasonably sized vegetable garden. There is always something that needs doing around the property. The spare room has its own toilet and entry / exit from the house. There is safe off-street parking here. The local area is very nice, with plenty of opportunities for country walking. The Playhouse Theatre is over the fence. We would love help in our garden right now :-)

HI we are Doug and Anne, a busy couple who live on a 10 acre plot of land close to the sea in Northland. Need helpers now We enjoy practicing self sufficiency with a large vegetable garden, orchard, cattle, sheep, chooks. We also have a dog and 2 cats. Each week we fish commercially for flounder. Our meals are home grown, or locally caught, we eat what we grow organically. We ask for help in our garden, orchard, general farm and gardening chores. Gardening, pruning, planting, weeding, net making etc. We need 2 people for some tasks so couples or friends are what we prefer, but not essential. We are flexible on the hours you work, if you want to take one day to enjoy the area, and work those hours another day - no problem. There is a very popular and stunning DOC walking track that starts on our boundary and there are lots of beautiful beaches within a 50km radius, and a beautiful surf beach - Taupo Bay 25 minutes away. We have kayaks and body boards for your use. We l...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start mid-November and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in return for their generous servic...
