Located on headlands of the Oregon coast, north of the Coquille River in Coos County, we are a learning environment where land based life skills anchor science, literacy, inquiry, and art. We are licensed school teachers, work in the schools and offer educational and technical services to generate income. We try for a way of living that honors the rhythms of nature and the dignity of meaningful work. Our aim is to develop a home where responsibility, creativity, and stewardship guide action. By reusing what we have, conserving what we need, and growing our food, we nurture a lifestyle that learns from the land and contributes to its renewal. In doing so, we hope to find a balance between comfort, health, and our use of products and resources. You are a guest here and we usually have dinner and/or lunch together. You will have a private room but use the family kitchen and bathroom. The big project this year is building an 8 feet by 24 feet greenhouse using recycled windows and glass....

We would like one or two people in June to help us pack up for moving. It will mostly be light work. Sorting through items in a shed and packing things in boxes - as well as some of the garden and household tasks mentioned below. Please contact us if you are interested! ******** We are a retired couple, but very active and busy. As a result, we are struggling to keep up with tasks like weeding our vegetable garden, lawn mowing, other simple garden maintenance and light housework & house maintenance. We would greatly appreciate anyone who could help with any of these tasks - and even cook a little if you enjoy doing that. We live in a beautiful and accessible part of the Adelaide Hills. We often see and hear koalas in the trees around us, we are just a few minutes drive from Mt. Lofty and Cleland Conservation Park and the Mt. Lofty Botanic Gardens and a 15 minute drive from the lovely tourist village of Hahndorf. There are also many walking trails including the Heysen Trail vir...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between now and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

If are here in the first half of 2026, you can very much be involved in the production! We are on a mission here to build a beautiful vegan community, dedicated to thinking about climate change and how to be Better People. This year we will be finishing the running water, the hot showers and the vineyard! You can come and learn everything there is to know about self sufficiency - water, energy, food and more. At the minute, I can offer either accommodation only, in exchange for about 8 - 10 hours a week, or a more traditional work-exchange of food and board and all that goes with it in return for 5 hours a day doing the things which need to be done! Hello. We are a small Llamas farm, located in the Pyrenees mountains. If you are looking for an original French experience, it could be the right place for you! Here in the high Pyrenees, near the Andorra & Spanish border, we offer you the possibility to live and work in a calm and isolated place, surrounded by high mountains and nothing but pure nature, and good meals "à la française" after our activities among our lamas (about 15 of them). We are a retired French couple, but we used to work and live in foreign countries and continents, which made us interested in people and cultures from all over the world. In the surroundings, there are beautiful places that we would be happy to make you discover, and if you want, we can trek together with Llamas... For your own, you get an entire and cosy apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 or 2 people, single or couple), and join us for generous meals, mostly with local products, that we like to share and appreciate together (so, no vegetarian requir...

Nestled in the coastal range of Mendocino County, California (about 45 minutes Northwest of Ukiah) we are establishing a small farm and wildlife sanctuary.  Based on principles of sustainability & permaculture our expanding ridge top garden and orchards consist of a variety of fruits, veggies, herbs and flowers.  Aside from garden and orchard tasks additional projects may include gathering seaweed and other native wild foods, cooking, canning, fermenting foods, making herbal preparations, habitat restoration, brush and trail clearing, small scale green building and learning how to build and maintain an off-grid infrastructure and solar system. Please read all of our information before contacting us. We require a one month minimum stay, and currently we have space beginning July 1st. Our homestead is remote and therefore not for everyone. We prefer those who want to unplug and enjoy the serenity of a mountain forest. If you are open minded, physically fit, want to get your hands di...

Hello to all kind and beautiful souls around the world! 👋 Warm greetings from the mountains of Lijiang, Yunnan! ☀️ My name is Linda, I am 39 years old Mom of 2 girls , originally from Chongqing. I married into a local minority family here because I fell deeply in love with the rich culture and warm hearts of the ethnic minority people. ❤️ 🌱 Why I am here? My farm, located near Kaniva, is a commercial agricultural enterprise in the Wimmera region of western Victoria (midway between Melbourne and Adelaide). It has been owned by my family for more than 130 years. In 2006 I purchased the major portion of the productive land from the family Estate, and now annually crops nearly 425ha to spring wheat, barley, oats, field beans and canola. I am fully responsible for the management and on-going development of the farm, with a "share-farmer" undertaking many of the farm labour components. I do not have enough work to keep you busy long-term, but I certainly have enough for 3-5 days. The deal I am offering is that you help me with general farm chores (e.g. burning up heaps of branches, some fencing repairs, cleaning up branches under trees, caring for my lawns and garden, cutting up firewood, planting farm trees, etc) and I provide free meals and accommodation and a modest hourly payment. Depending on the day/weather we would work for 4-5 ho...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Kia Ora and hello helpers, We're Chris and Meri. We live on a little farm with some really beautiful rural views and with native birds & bush with a beautiful little bush stream that runs through the property where we're gradually planting and restoring the natural environment with many hundreds of native plants. We run a little flock of South Suffolk Sheep, we have some free Range Brown Shaver Chickens, Khaki Campbell Ducks (perfect eggs for baking!), we have a pair of very rare Cape Barren Geese and we also have a little fruit tree Orchard too. We enjoy good conversation, cooking and sharing good food (and favourite recipes) with others and your stay wouldn't be complete without experiencing a few of Meri's traditional yummy Indonesian styled dishes. We share making meals together and welcome helpers to help make some of the meals too 😋. As a Christian husband and wife couple, we're of course not perfect people but we do try to be kind, helpful to others that we meet and to b...

Looking for Helpx for a week or a couple of weeks from next week (June 2). Two people might be best as we are needing help to clear a storage room with my father's stuff in it - so some carrying furniture, boxes etc - easier with two people. Also need to be able to drive in NZ - manual car if possible, but not a disaster if not. And to be good with TradeMe or Facebook Marketplace to list and sell unwanted stuff. There are a couple of young children in the house - so enjoying playing games would also be an advantage! Kia ora. FABULOUS, FRIENDLY, CENTRAL SUBURBS HOME - WITH FRIENDLY CAT! Hey, come stay at the best Helpx in Auckland - well we think so anyway, and read our reviews! I live in a beautiful traditional New Zealand villa in a lovely street of NZ homes. This is in Ponsonby, the best suburb in Auckland - super close to the city centre (one easy bus, or just walk!) and to cafes, beaches, shops etc. It can be a busy atmosphere, with a couple of Airbnb rooms, and family, inclu...

This is a home stay situated on a sugarcane farm 18km north of Proserpine. Not far from Airle Beach and Whitsundays. There are a variety of chores, I work in the sugar mill but also have a lot of work around my house and sheds. We’re renting a granny flat, and some times there is some cleaning work to be done. I have a young dog and chooks to take care of. If you are looking for some peace and quiet to get away, it will be a good choice. I would also be happy to show you around the area if time and weather permits, take you fishing, maybe catch some crabs and explain some of the wildlife in the area. There are lots of beautiful places to see here. We have hosted exchange students in the past and it has been very fulfilling, sharing different cultures. More photos on instagram at aqhinschen We enjoy the company and conversation and also sharing the cooking, I love sharing the kitchen while cooking. We have had some great times and have some wonderful memories of people we have had...

We have a real diversity of operations for you to experience. We own a fruit drying and processing operation employing 10 staff. This is located on the property, and we have recently repurchased a family snack bar company. Check out our website link www.annies.co.nz. We need your help and any expertise to reset this up. The home property has a 24ha vineyard in the heart of Marlborough, but we also have a 20ha vineyard based in the Awatere Valley. This property has both stock and vineyard components. We are close to the town of Blenheim (3km) and 1km from shops pub etc at Spring Creek. Transport can be made available, and we have plenty of accommodation on the property. Work would be varied from simple housekeeping, property maintenance to vineyard work with machinery and tractor work if you can handle it. Also processing work. We have a Cafe and Salsa dance studio on the property if your keen. We're also into outdoor activities. Tramping and climbing and boating. So come...

I once volunteered as a helper in Australia and met many kind and interesting hosts. I benefited a lot from the experience. That’s why I want to give back on this platform and warmly welcome travelers to experience real local life in China. We are a warm, friendly and harmonious family living in a quiet and beautiful countryside village in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, China. Transportation is very convenient: only 15 minutes drive to Yangzhou Airport, and 25 minutes to the high-speed railway station. My father is a professional doctor with a private clinic at home. If you are interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine, you are welcome to visit and learn TCM culture every day. My mother cooks extremely delicious authentic Huaiyang home-cooked meals for you every day. I am a professional yoga teacher. I often travel abroad to organize international Yoga Retreats, and I also run cross-border foreign trade business at home. We keep a healthy, peaceful and positive lifestyle. We provide a...

I am in desperate need of helpers to tame my garden, planting the winter growing season veggies plus harvesting and pruning fruit tree. Due to family health issues I have been away in Canada for a total of 16 weeks over two visits during the last 9 months needless to say I have become a bit behind. This is the best time of the year to be in the garden. We are a working cattle farm/station located on the edge of the Australian Outback within an easy 2.5hour drive from Townsville and the Great Barrier Reef. We are located about 40minutes from the major cattle hub and historical town of Charters Towers I love to cook and grow our own food. One of my hobbies is preserving food and baking which has resulted in me starting a Small business called Darlene’s Country Kitchen. I sell my products and produce in our local town, Charters Towers. We also attend a regular Market on the 4 Sunday of every month. Helpers will be expected to feed and water chickens, ducks and geese, collect eg...

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. We are a family of 5 living in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Sue is the founder of Peaceful Hollow. Her daughter Ruth moved to the Hollow later as well as her husband Tim and their 2 daughters. Our hollow is quite with no neighbors in sight. There are no city lights, and you can see every star on a clear night! Our homestead consists of Sue's workshop/cabin, Tim & Ruth's cabin and one very small guest cabin. Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. . We have a lot you can be involved in, knowledge to share, friendships to build, and opportunities for growth. Below are our routines and some projects. We would love to involve you! - Caring for our honey bees, chickens,...

It looks like we are full until at least mid July but you are still welcomed to make inquiries about future dates. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not really necessary, learn on the job! 😉👍. So you need to be a "morning person" who is happy to start work at 07.00 hr, at least five mornings a week, not a night-owl. This is to avoid the heat of the afternoons at this time of year, mornings ca n be beautiful. Much of the work will be outside, based out of a well-equipped, air-conditioned, woodworking worksho...

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature single people are open now. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is not raining or too hot. ...

Kia ora, travellers! Haere mai - welcome to my whare (home) in beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and insects. We built this eco-earth house using local clay from right under our feet. This land used to be just grass, but after 30 years of caring for this whenua, it now has mature trees, orchards, and organic gardens. Life here is peaceful and quiet, perfect for enjoying nature I am part of the local landcare group, helping protect our native forest, birds, lizards, and insects. We trap predators and remove invasive weeds. You could help with organic/permaculture gardening: vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit trees, chickens, mowing, brush-cutting, compost-making, maintenance and fixing things (basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, chopping firewood. I bake bread. I make apple cider vinegar, bottle fruit, jam, chutney, sauerkraut, and collect seeds. My place fits independent and mature helpers who love working outside and don't mind getting thei...

At the moment my preference is short stays for experienced helpers with reviews. Generally speaking the help I need is from people with horticultural or gardening skills and those who are happy to do housecleaning or home maintenance repair work. Retired folks welcome. I offer home-style accommodation (Queen size bed and room within the home), and while I no long provide food other than basics (tea/coffee, milk, bread and butter (spreads)….I am happy to share food costs and create shared meals together. Also there are supermarkets nearby, plus a pizza place, a Japanese takeaway and a Thai restaurant within walking distance. Guests have unlimited inter-net connection. I am located 20-25 mins South of Cairns and while there is regular bus transport available it takes over 40 mins to get to Cairns as you go around various suburbs. Cairns is one of the main gateways to the Great Barrier Reef and Gordonvale is ideally situated on the Mulgrave River allowing easy access to the Tablelands...

The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in retu...

For 2026, we are very happy to welcome applications for longer stays - 1, 2, 3 or even 6 months. I have been commissioned to write THE book on vegan self sufficiency. We cook and eat together as much as you want. For the right long term applicant, we may be able to help with some of your travel costs. The barracks are a disused former ...

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

As a mother of two lovely children, I see the limitations these children face. While they are brilliant and hardworking, their lack of English opportunity isolates them from the wider world. 🌍 Language is the bridge to the future. That is why I am dedicated to bringing free English education to the local primary and middle schools here. 📍 Our Location (Prime Spot!): 📍 Perfectly Located: We are just 1 km outside Lijiang Ancient Town. 🚶 Walking Distance: 1 min walk to the bus stop. 3 mins walk to the biggest Wet...
