We are located in the heart of Berlin, one of Europe's most exciting and diverse cities. With its vibrant cultural scene, world-class museums, historic landmarks, countless cafés, parks, and excellent public transport, Berlin is the perfect place to experience urban life while enjoying a welcoming home environment. I would kindly ask you to help with painting, fencing, gardening, sweeping leaves, cleaning and maintaining the house, as well as feeding and caring for the animals. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time. You will have your own private room, and I will provide breakfast and one warm meal each day. If you enjoy cooking in a holistic and nutritious way, you are more than welcome to do so. I am always happy to share my knowledge about healthy food and learn from others as well. I am not just looking for someone to help with daily tasks—I would like to offer a meaningful cultural exchange and create a positive experience together. If you are interested in me...

WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS FROM MID OCTOBER TO NOVEMBER. We are a family of four and have small farm at the coast of the Baltic sea close to Oskarshamn. The farmhouse is more than a hundred years old and is located just a few meters away from a lake, which we can use exclusively for fishing, swimming and anything else. A good work-life-balance is very important for us, and this is also what we have in mind for our helpers. It's not only working here, we also want to show our helpers the laid back Swedish lifestyle here at the Eastern coast. Both sides should feel that they did benefit from your stay at our place. Hein: I was born in the north of Germany, and my profession as a carpenter has a very important role in the realization of our dream life. I’ve always felt at home out in nature, fishing, sailing or mushroom picking,. I like to work in the garden and cultivate home-grown fruits and vegetables. Astrid: I love living in the nature and the freedom here in Sweden. By pr...

We are learning and exchanging ideas about Permaculture and self sustainability. Our farm is situated in a Natural Reserve area called Bananal, located 18km away from the beaches of Perube - SP. Here we have begun our project. Using the idea behind observing and working with what is natural and unique to this landscape we are learning to grow local plants and fruit trees, as well as understand the forestation of the area, to best work with the land to support us and our animals. Currently we are growing orchards of multiple fruit trees, such as jack-fruit, papaya, starfruit, goiaba, bananas, coffee, cacao, and limes to name a few, as well as vegetables in our garden. We are using the concept of building green, by using local materials found on the land, such as different varieties of woods, bamboo and clay. We have switched most of our toilets over to the dry toilet system in order to make less of an environmental impact and use the compost to make fertilizer. Using the animal ma...

Good morning;. I write a review for each helper after they have been here helping me. I know many helpers and hosts do not do that but I do. Like host and helper information that is often very uninformative, I feel it is important to have an opinion and I hope for one in return. I went on the Wagon Train in Montana like I have since 1983. We had a bad wreck, I got hurt. Please come help me. I will need help September onwards and over the winter please. If you can come anytime in that time period it sure would be appreciated. The helper who had been here just over 3 years [yes years],moved . He works in town full time, stayed here for free and helped with chores. I have had 4 really great helpers already this year and 1 vanishing act. Too funny. Not as much to do as most years. Painting will get done this year. That is outside on the little buildings. 2 barn doors need repairs. Please respond when I send an invitation. I wait and wait and so many do not reply. Thank you to those who ...

Our family live on a large farm close to Margaret River (famous for surf, wine, beaches etc). It's a beautiful farm in a beautiful region and there are 16 family members living in various dwellings, with various projects going all the time. Our corner of the farm includes veggie gardens, chook runs, timber plantations, olive trees, and ornamental gardens. For helpers we have 3 different caravans with double beds and outdoor undercover kitchen dining areas. Both my wife and I work off the farm (I'm a music teacher and she is a social worker) so we usually require help maintaining our gardens, cleaning our house and building stuff. There is also work to do on the larger property such as burning off and repairing fences. If you have the skills to work with tractors, mowers, carpentry, welding or other tools then that is always welcome! Weeding and cleaning are usually on the list though :) We ask for 1 hour of work per night's stay if there's two people in a caravan, and 1.5 hou...

We live in a beautiful part of the world between the beach and Margaret River town. We live on a farm with multi- generational families, we work towards a lot of self sufficiency and we work off the farm also. Our interests include music and wellbeing. The Margaret River community is vibrant and has many activities on offer. Our family welcomes cross-cultural experience. We like our Helpxers to be happy; we offer clean, comfortable, private caravan accommodation. Tasks are dependent on helpxer skills, farm, family and home requirements (such as whipper snipping, gardening, wood splitting, domestic tasks, artistic skills and painting). Having a car is necessary as there is no public transport. We ask for 1 hour work a day (couple) and 1.5 hours work a day (single) which means that helpxers can get work off the farm, if you like. Kind regards :) Sabine, Tony and Family

I'M CURRENTLY NOT HOSTING HELPERS!!! Spring/Summer season in Swedish Lapland 🇸🇪 ________________________________________________________ I'm a German woman (59) and I'm living in Swedish Lapland since 8 years and working as a nurse. I'm looking for a dogsitter while I'm at work. My 4 Huskies enjoy hiking in the spring/summer and taking a bath in the lake or river close by. They get fed twice a day and the kennel need to be kept clean. Cuddlings are always very welcome. I would be happy to cook together and keep the house clean. It would be a great pleasure if you are a handyman, carpenter and /or electrician, but it's not a "must". What can you do here? Hiking in the beautiful forest area with the dogs. Bicycling or renting a canoe from my next neighbor (3 km away). And when I have days off from work, we can do things together a little further away or visiting some friends. If you are traveling by car you are of course more flexible on site. Otherwise it's easy to trav...

Hello, my partner John & I, have had a wonderful time sharing our home with volunteers. We now have a vacancy from September 18th. Short or longer stays are welcome. We usually have 2 volunteers staying with us, each with their own bedroom. Volunteers can cover each others time off & share the tasks. We usually take volunteers out to places of interest, on a Saturday. We live as a family & enjoy many things together, with our volunteers, many of whom have become lasting friends. We live in a 4 bed modern dormer bungalow, in a beautiful village, with a shop & bus stop 3 minutes walk from the house. We live with my father, who is 89 years old and has memory loss. My father is calm & relaxed. Nurses come three times a day to look after my father, washing & dressing him, volunteers dont need to do those tasks, My father does like to have volunteers, to watch television with him, so that he’s not alone & he enjoys helping volunteers improve their English pronunciation. Hello, and thank you for looking at our page/profile! We are looking for a helper (1 person) during the summer (2026) for a 2 week period, maybe longer. Starting in June and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn. Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All these tasks we do together. Further work includes simple window washing, exterior window and door painting. Saturday house cleaning, gardening, pool cleaning, ironing sheets for the rentals, etc. We are chefs from New York City so we offer great food and comfortable accommodation though we do not do cooking classes to our helpx friends. I started this farm in 2008 after leaving my white-collar career to build a life closer to soil, animals, food, and nature. Today I live here with my wife, Julia, and together we share our daily life and farm activities with guests from different cultures. I have studied Culinary Arts, Agricultural Technologies, and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. I also hold a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) and have training in holistic management. My main interests are animal systems, fermentation, food transformation, and practical permaculture. Real Rural Life Life here is simple and genuinely rural. We do not offer luxury or hotel-style comfort. You will experience the realities of countryside life: animals, soil, mud, changing weather, quiet nights, and days shaped by nature. Guests stay in a simple guest space on the farm. We provide three meals a day and usually eat together. Food ...

We have a vineyard, olive trees and vacation houses near Tropea in Calabria. We need a couple to help us for some week from september to june for vintage, olive harvest, gardening, general maintenance and internet announcements. In autumn, winter and spring we have a lot to do in the vineyard, with the olive trees, the house and garden. Accommodation in a full equipped chalet offered. It is better to COME WITH CAR or rent it here. We expect you to work 2 and half hours a day (16-20) hours a week. You should buy and cook your food. We are used to give local products and teach you how to prepare traditional dishes. We appreciate if you work more hours on weekends because we are at home. You have a free day in the week. If we have time, we can show you around our region and our white sandy beaches. We would be glad to welcome people from all over the world to our home. We prefer couples. Feel free to write us an Email! It's possible to contact us early, that's not a problem!

Spring is upon us & it is wonderful to see the plants “spring” into growth! BUT so are the weeds. 🫩 so we need help to weed & mulch, prune and plant. After our trip to Alice Springs to attend the Australian Native Plants biennial national conference we are enthused to improve our garden diversity. Please contact us if you want to experience our garden and hospitality like so many HelpX helpers have over the last few years. ENJOY THE FREEDOM & BEAUTY OF SOUTH GIPPSLAND. Property is a botanic garden of Australian native plants, many rare or endangered, plus an acre of plants for cut flowers, mainly proteas, banksias and tea trees. Lots of wildlife. We need help with weeding, mowing, mulching, planting and general clean up as the property is too big for the two of us to maintain. Accommodation is very comfortable, private, with fully set up kitchen in a studio style cottage with a queen size bed and smart TV. Recently installed a new electric oven with airfry function. Has split system h...

...The Quiet Retreat, a Lifestyle Property , located on the north East Coast of Tasmania , St Marys. ...!! With only the help of many hard working wwoofer's/HelpX'ers , I started to build the house and clear the land here 26 years ago, so this place is a BIG BIG credit to all my helpers who worked here with me, enjoyed their stay and left their footprint..! These days instead of my helpers assisting me , I assist my helpers LOL , usually in the morning and than we try to cook a meal , please, understand that I am not a good cook, so help there is esp. welcome, vegetarian only. I feel that for the helpers who come here, maybe, apart from the usual work, self improvement/development could be one of their priorities... a good library of books is available and some very nice music... In the past I practiced meditation/looked at Zen/Osho/Vipassana etc, I love music and most of the time there is music in the house. This is a Private Forest Reserve, 80 acre property, 7km from St M...

Hi there. We are a family of four, Jason, Emma, Aria and Jenson living in a beautiful part of North Canterbury on a 20 acre lifestyle block with a few cows, a few sheep, 1 horse (Katie), a big fluffy dog (Faelan) and free range chickens. We raise our own, organic meat and have a couple of tunnel houses so we can grow our own organic food. We live in an old farmhouse, situated approx 2km from Waikari, a quiet, picturesque village with several walkways to explore including an old local fire lookout, the frog rock climb in the Weka Pass and a local walk to some Maori rock drawings. We are also close (40 mins) to Hanmer Springs, 1.5 hrs from Kaikoura, 1 hr from Chch airport and about 20 mins from the beach and the town of Amberley. Your accommodation would be in our comfy, 6 berth, fully self contained campervan (which remains on site). All meals are provided and while we are a meat-eating family, we are more than happy to accommodate any dietary requirements. We would be looking for he...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

Kia Ora. I run an Angora goat farm just outside Oxford in North Canterbury. I have 180 very cute goats which I shear for fibre twice per year. I also farm sheep and cattle. I farm in a sustainable way and have been trialling some regenerative agricultural practices. I am looking for helpers starting from late September / early October 2026. Jobs include farm work, gardening, housekeeping, servicing and cleaning my AirBnB and learning about our farming systems. You would have your own room and receive all your food in return for 4-5 hours work per day. Those are the typical Helpx conditions. There are usually other Helpxers at the farm and we work, eat and live as a family , sharing housework and cooking tasks. I look forward to welcoming you to the farm!

We’ve recently built a wonderfully energy efficient passive solar house, complete with off-grid solar for all our energy needs, rain water collection for all our water needs, and a worm farm waste management system for natural black and grey water processing. We’ve put a lot of work in to achieve a fossil-fuel-free, all-electric, household, with as small an environmental footprint as possible. We’re also lucky to live in a beautiful rural/coastal area near Inverloch, Victoria, approximately 1 hour 45 minutes south-east of Melbourne. We are close to some of Victoria’s most famous wildlife and wilderness attractions, including the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island, the Koala Conservation Reserve, and hiking and camping at Wilson’s Promontory (not to mention numerous local beaches and fishing spots only 10 minutes away!). With our house complete, we’re now working to progress the landscaping aspects of our project. We’d be very appreciative of a helping hand or two to help complete: a na...

In the summer time when weather permits, you have a deluxe caravan for your home. You must be very neat and punctual for work...

Welcome to our family-run permaculture farm in the countryside of Bilecik, Türkiye. My name is Selçuk. Food ...

Recently installed a new electric oven with airfry function. ...The Quiet Retreat, a Lifestyle Property , located on the north East Coast of Tasmania , St Marys.

We are set on 11 acres of beautiful land with wonderful views over the waters of the Manukau Harbour and with direct access to an expansive beach reserve. At the heart of the light filled house is a meditation room filled with musical instruments and opening onto an expansive lawn which is the setting for outdoor living and communal gatherings. These include occasional house concerts, seasonal celebrations and co creative musical sessions where we can experience our spiritual interconnectedness with Nature and one another. Help is needed in the house and on the land with tasks that include maintaining gardens and fruit trees, cutting grass, clearing weeds, making compost and cutting wood. I welcome people who love Nature and who can work with focus and commitment.
