Autonomy for everyone, especially for you and us at mealtime ... Resources are shared according to the availability of the moment. More possibilities if my children are not there, less if I have other guests ... fortuitous ... In the meantime we have no shortage of space in the garden to let you plant your tent or you lend a space... This is the minimum we can guarantee. A cabin is also available on the family sailboat ... Here too, there is work ... The room with double bed of the house is not often free for our helper sometimes the chance does things well, ask what you want, we are in French Polynesia climate is stable all year ;-) We will not ask for more than 2 or 3 hours of help a day in exchange we plan to lodge without food, although fruits from the garden are still part of the tradition of sharing the house... It's up to you to do your shopping and your dish washing and cleaning up after, the load will be in our situation not equitable otherwise.

Hello! Welcome to our Farm!! Our farm sits on a beautiful piece of land with a variety of very sweet animals, we know we are so lucky to have what we have and decided to share our treasures with everyone. Our goal is to make a difference to the earth we live on, the people we interact with and the animals we share this planet with. We open our farm to the public in the summer to share our beautiful property and all our animals. We have a variety of tasks around the farm from daily animal care to building projects and everything in between, there will always be something that suits your talents! And if you think you have none (talents) don’t worry, we will dig them out of you! We want you to come to our farm as guests wanting to help with our cause of creating a place that helps people reconnect with animals and nature. Our belief is that one small act of kindness is one step closer to creating a happier planet :-) Shane:) We are looking for help with: - Daily chores which includes fe...

We live in a Christian community, meeting regularly for prayer, worship and bible study so most of our volunteers share our Christian faith. We are a residential provider of outdoor activities, owned and operated by a small charity. For most of the year we host visiting groups which come to enjoy a range of activities in the beautiful setting of the Scottish Highlands. We are located 2 hours north of Glasgow, the nearest town being Fort William, surrounded by mountains and lochs scenery. There are good road and rail connections to reach us. Volunteers working with us help with cleaning the centre, serving meals, indoor and outdoor maintenance and some grounds work. Life at the centre is quite structured, with a weekly rota and daily task lists to follow. Volunteers are asked to work between 4 and 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. When not engaged in centre duties there are opportunities for volunteers to join in organised activities alongside our groups or to explore the area. V...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in ...

We invite you to volunteer and participate in creating a unique experience with us this summer. We organise, build and run a unique, tented, sustainable venue - a temporary outdoor eco-village in the West of England. We’re looking for people who like working hard, having fun, and being part of a community to get involved. Every summer since 1990, our trustees (all volunteers) and many other volunteers from all walks of life come together and create something truly inspiring! We are a temporary venue reflected by the three main phases of our season. The most diverse range of activities and greatest need for volunteers are during the setup and takedown of the site, but of course we also rely on our team of volunteers for the running of the events! You will be supported and encouraged to be involved in whatever you feel most comfortable doing, and we always appreciate new ideas and feedback - we are all about learning, participation, and celebration of individuals and community. It looks like we are full until at least mid July but you are still welcomed to make inquiries about future dates. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not really necessary, learn on the job! 😉👍. So you need to be a "morning person" who is happy to start work at 07.00 hr, at least five mornings a week, not a night-owl. This is to avoid the heat of the afternoons at this time of year, mornings ca n be beautiful. Much of the work will be outside, based out of a well-equipped, air-conditioned, woodworking worksho...

Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, biking & hiking at our waterfront B&B. You'll have your own private room. Cleaning rooms to our 5 star standard is the primary work. Limited gardening, yard work, helping around the B&B with all aspects of running a home-based business. Must be physically fit to do this. Crewing on our boat is optional if you like it - not everyone is comfortable being on the ocean. Here is what a typical summer day looks like: About 1/4 of our guests purchase breakfast. On those mornings at 7:30 am we're in the kitchen preparing breakfast. 8:45 - 9:30 serving breakfast to guests and interacting with Q&A and booking a few excursions. On most days when t...

Hi folks! I'm looking for an extra set of hands during April, may and June. Between 10-20 days at a time. 😊 I'm hoping for avid gardeners or skilled DIY or both! Giving the garden a makeover, also the natural swimming pool. If the weather is rubbish we will be painting and decorating 😄 We can't accommodate children or dogs sorry. Work is varied, and will change depending on the weather. we will be giving the garden a bit of a make over. Including the natural swimming pool. Lots of plants being removed and replaced. I also run a very small camping, you can find it on instagram via link below. https://www.instagram.com/cactuslodgecamping/ There's a chance new planting could happen there too. New ideas and creativity are always welcome. 😁 Here's my usual bumf, I have a small holding consisting of olives, carobs, almonds, veg patch, pigs, and geese, and am battling to get the land, trees, under control. There is also a natural swimming pool here, which used to be a normal swim...

hello, I prefer requests that are for the near future, I don't like to plan too far ahead. This is an organic farm on a sheltered inlet, with horses, sheep, chickens, orchards, & gardens.. Needing help with keeping the grounds beautiful, repairs, building projects, harvesting, weeding, pruning, planting, and animal care. Near a busy village, bicycles offered, canoes, there are buses to take you around the island, hiking, swimming, artisans, markets. Sunsets are wonderful. The seaside jewel cabin is located in a private seaside spot with a bathhouse and kitchen nearby. The exchange is ideally for 2 people to volunteer 1.5 hrs. per day without food supplied. The work involves cleaning up after the horses or sheep (scooping poop) in the barn or on the grounds, then various projects for the balance of 1.5 hrs. You can get a part time job on Saltspring as many jobs are available. This island is very popular with the biggest problem being lack of accommodation, so helping at the farm gives ...

From the garden...great for forest walks and exploring the Cotswolds. English, Spanish and French is spoken. I have my child with me half the week.. We aim to work an average of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week in an awake household. The work is varied but currently there are raised beds to make for growing vegetables, a chicken run to make, chickens to feed and care for, gardening, cooking, cleaning , or generally helping with whatever task is being done at the time, though no need of experience as I'm happy to teach techniques. I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

After an intense house renovation, we are now entering the final phase, focusing on cleaning and refreshing the house. From APRIL (for about one month), we are looking for help with PAINTING work inside and outside, as well as some light gardening tasks such as weeding. This period is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and likes to see visible results at the end of the day. From JUNE onwards, as the weather becomes warmer, the help will mainly consist of daily HOUSEKEEPING tasks (cleaning, ironing), with occasionally some light gardening. We’ve found that this experience works best for people who enjoy staying active and contributing in a practical way to daily life. We truly appreciate volunteers who bring positive energy, a hands-on mindset, and a genuine willingness to help. We are a Belgian family who has been living in France for over 20 years. In our late fifties, we speak French, Dutch, English, and a bit of Spanish. Our home is located in the beautiful r...

Open for helpers from mid February until mid December. Not outside this period. Small farm without any farming since the land is rented out, but the forest is maintained by me. Also have a vegetable garden and berry bushes and lots of machines like tractors, ATV, snowmobile etc. I have 2 sons that are visiting regularly. Tasks can be gardening, carpentry, painting houses, general house work or forest work. Also might need mechanical help with machines. The farm is close to the small town of Namsos, and close to the forest, mountains with lakes and the salmon river Namsen. http://visitnamdal.no/ We also have a cabin that sometimes need some maintenance work. It is located on a small island in the Namsenfjord. Hello Dear Helpers, Please note my home is not the loft described in the feedback from 2013/14. I live alone, close to SanSiro stadium in Milan, it’s small & clean place , you would have your own room, with a sofà bed. Please note my wardrobe is in this spacious room so we would have to make arrangements for me to enter once or twice a day. There’s a modern kitchen and bathroom and a small beautiful balcony. Public transport tram to Duomo at 100meters from my flat. Im happy to take you around Milan, or if prefer suggest some wonderful places for you to go. If I go out with friends you are welcome to join me. I cook occasionally and would always offer for you to join me in cooking and enjoying the meal together. You are welcome to prepare meals at home too. You can help yourself to tea and coffee during your stay. I’m in need of someone who can build a simple website on Card, phone film my presentation , and once ready help set up and promote on social media platforms. I think ar...

We have been taking volunteers since 1998. We have had people from all over he world staying with us and have made many new friends some of whom we are still in touch with today. People who come here are always taken in as members of the family and that is our strong point. We aren't really that interested in the ordinary pursuits that most people feel important but rather being in touch with nature and living close to the earth and nature. We live on a farm at the end of a dead end road. Our 165 acre farm gives us a buffer from civilization. Our main preoccupations are growing a large organic garden and providing ourselves with good wholesome food from our own gardens. We try to have vegetables that last us almost 12 months a year. In short we live close to nature. Our priorities are enjoying each others company, We speak both French and English. Come and stay with us for a while in an atmosphere that puts the emphasis on the deeper aspects of life.

*** Visitors stay a 'minimum of 1 week', which can be extended, to 2-4 weeks, if everyone is happy :) *** * Critical thinkers and creative individuals are particularly welcome here. We take immense pleasure in working alongside 'Open Minds', who hold contemporary planetary and social concerns, and seek to rise their consciousness as 'individuals'. Individuals who have independently studied, subjects such as Transhumanism, Mass formation, and the Psychology of Totalitarianism, would benefit from their experience here. Side by side, with daily physical tasks, this would ensure clear thinking individuals', full appreciation of our practice, and would bring more meaning, peace and happiness into their lives. At this moment (March 2026), there's an emphasis on 'lifting Brambles', :) , digging them up from the root, in areas where they have multiplied and taken over. However, there are still plenty of other tasks, to keep things interesting for the visitor. *WOODLAND CLEARANCE WORK, ...

Hello, my name is Florent, I'm 45 years old, I was a chef for about twenty years, and since 2017 I've been a spirulina producer. Spirulina is a microalga that's very rich in nutrients. It's a very environmentally friendly crop, requiring little energy and no pesticides. Spirulina needs sun and warmth to grow. The harvest season in our region runs from April to October, and it's during this period that I'm interested in hosting someone (I don't need two people at the same time, one is enough). I already have people helping me until the end of july, so I'm looking for someone from this period. Since 2017, I worked with a partner who left for other ventures at the beginning of this year, and I now work alone. We've already had several interns on our farm. I need someone to help me out on the farm with various tasks, as we do everything ourselves: harvesting the spirulina, cleaning, labeling, packaging, general maintenance and odd jobs, communication, deliveries, farm tours, online or...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

A 6 hectare plot of land out in nature, surrounded by pine and spruce forests, where the only noise is the wind in the trees, the occasional car passing on the main road in the distance, and the mooing of cows on the distant neighbours' farms. It's a very biodiverse hilltop site, with a range of vegetation and ground, though mostly wet meadow and bog, along with some forested areas. This land is considerably wet, of poor quality and generally neglected. I want to bring it to life. My dream: to transform this neglected land into a biodiversity and nature oasis! In this, I want to include elements of forest gardening, permaculture and working with nature. I ultimately aim to use only 100% natural materials in the garden, avoiding plastics, paints, rubbers and other synthetic materials and chemical products. Hi, my name is Matthew. I'm a 36-year old Irishman recently returned from working abroad. I got this land at the beginning of 2021, and so far the facilities are limited and rudimen...

35 years ago, I built two large sheds myself in mature ancient mixed woodland, on the sea, a mile north of Tarbert village on Loch Fyne. Candles, rainwater, and wood provided the basics. Over the years, I have planted thousands of trees in open spaces, left by areas used for livestock. 8 years ago, as the huts composted into the hillside, my husband and I decided to come and live here full time, repair the huts, as well as care for the extensive woodland and continue with my writing. Didn't really work out so neatly (husband had affair and left) and I'm struggling to write and manage everything on my own. Volunteers over the last three years have transformed my life - brought a buzz to the place, helped finish the renovation work and brought community here. It's been wonderful. I have a depleted (foxes and pine martins) flock of hilarious bantam hens that hang out in the woodland by day and roost high in a tree house at night. My two cats come on long walks. After years of candles, ge...

😉👍. Hi folks! I'm looking for an extra set of hands during April, may and June. Between 10-20 days at a time. 😊 I'm hoping for avid gardeners or skilled DIY or both! We are restoring an old traditional Béarnaise house located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the Ouzom valley. We want to share it with people who can help us with the garden as well as with the house to maintain or restore it. Assistance activities concern the maintenance or restoration of buildings (lime plaster, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, etc), maintenance of the garden (brush clearing) and its vegetable garden, whether it is windy or raining, depending on the projects in progress and the skills of each. Slug hunting to be planned every evening at nightfall. Once a week a complete cleaning of the premises will be carried out by all. We ask for 5 hours help a day, 5 days a week. We offer accommodation in a large 4-bed dormitory. Please, bring your work gloves and clothes , if you have any. Everyone must be autonomous and responsible enough to know how to clean and store the tools or things they have used, as well as to participate daily, outside helping time, in all the househo...

hello, I prefer requests that are for the near future, I don't like to plan too far ahead.

The helper accommodation is a double room in a 200 year old Cotswold stone house located in a small village near Stroud. There’s woodland above and it’s in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty backing on to the Toadsmoor valley. The house is 35 mins walk from Stroud town centre. There are a few shops in the village as well as a pub nearby. The house is surrounded with the hills and countryside on your doorstep and lovely views.

If applying to stay with us, please note the following: --Tell us your approximate arrival date and how long you would like to stay (stays of 3 weeks or more are preferred). --Give us brief details of any work experience or skills you might have. --Please have a photograph of yourself on your profile. --You must be reasonably proficient in English. There is a lot of interaction with our guests, in person and sometimes on the phone. We live in a beautiful location and if you like water sports, surfing, hill walking etc, you will love it here. We are 10 mins walk to the sea and great beaches. It`s very quiet here in the low season but busy from June to September. We enjoy many good music sessions around the fire in our pub and everyone is welcome to join in. ...
