We grow organic table grapes, a few fruit trees, chickens and a few pigs. This is a real farm experience, mostly working in the vineyard, with some fun too. There is biking to town, swimming in the ocean or our lake, fishing, basketball, volleyball, hiking, nature walks, beach strolling and look for fossils at Blue Beach, camp fires , rope swing in our little lake, take in the fantastic views, sunsets, star gazing, internet, phone and go to nearby towns such as Wolfville and Hantsport as well as the rest of the Annapolis Valley with the local bus. We purchased this beautiful château in the Loire Valley in 2013 and with HelpXers like yourself, we worked tirelessly to renovate it, taking it from its dilapidated state to the current splendour of a modern 21st century castle. There is still a large space to renovate, as well as finishing touches all around the château, so we get excited if you have trade skills to offer. We'd like to add up lights and down lights around the moat and the building, so if you have electrical skills, that could be very handy! We are keen to invite interested people here for longer periods of time. We ask ideally a minimum stay of two weeks with us, but longer periods are possible to the suitable people.
