I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. We are a family of 5 living in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Sue is the founder of this place. Her daughter Ruth moved to the Hollow later as well as her husband Tim and their 2 daughters. Our hollow is quite with no neighbors in sight. There are no city lights, and you can see every star on a clear night! Our homestead consists of Sue's workshop/cabin, Tim & Ruth's cabin and one very small guest cabin. Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. . We have a lot you can be involved in, knowledge to share, friendships to build, and opportunities for growth. Below are our routines and some projects. We would love to involve you! - Caring for our honey bees, chickens, cats...

We would like one or two people in July to help us pack up for moving. It will mostly be light work. Sorting through items in a shed and packing things in boxes - as well as some of the garden and household tasks mentioned below. Please contact us if you are interested! ******** We are a retired couple, but very active and busy. As a result, we are struggling to keep up with tasks like weeding our vegetable garden, lawn mowing, other simple garden maintenance and light housework & house maintenance. We would greatly appreciate anyone who could help with any of these tasks - and even cook a little if you enjoy doing that. We live in a beautiful and accessible part of the Adelaide Hills. We often see and hear koalas in the trees around us, we are just a few minutes drive from Mt. Lofty and Cleland Conservation Park and the Mt. Lofty Botanic Gardens and a 15 minute drive from the lovely tourist village of Hahndorf. There are also many walking trails including the Heysen Trail ...

Kia ora! Seeking help all through the year. The home is a large Oamaru stone villa where my 20yr old son and our tabby cat live with me. Our work does take us away from home from time to time and we need help to maintain the existing gardens, and to redevelop some areas. I am redeveloping an area to become a vegetable garden and would love help with this. We have around 2 acres of garden - mainly flowers, hedges and mature trees with a pond which plays host to gold fish and attracts numerous dragonflies. The gardens are very tranquil. We host small events occasionally and sometimes run garden tours. Ideally, you'll have a bit of garden knowledge, but most importantly you'll be fit, have initiative and a willingness to muck in and help outdoors. The majority of work will be weeding, pruning, trimming. I expect 4 hours of productive work each day in exchange for accommodation, breakfast provisions for you to help yourself to, lunch and dinner. The accommodation is a bedroom in a s...

Hello, and thank you for looking at our page/profile! We are looking for a helper (1 person) during the summer (2026) for a 2 week period, maybe longer. Starting in June and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn. Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All these tasks we do together. Further work includes simple window washing, exterior window and door painting. Saturday house cleaning, gardening, pool cleaning, ironing sheets for the rentals, etc. We are chefs from New York City so we offer great food and comfortable accommodation though we do not do cooking classes to our helpx friends. In the summer time when weather permits, you have a deluxe caravan for your home. You must be very neat and punctual for work...

About Us I'm Hiro, and I live with three roommates in Toshima Ward, Tokyo. My roommates are Japanese and Nepali, including a queer woman. They are an "aspiring" voice actor, student, and sole proprietor. Room sharing and coming out of the closet are uncommon in Japan. The Neighborhood Two stations from Ikebukuro and ~30 minutes from Shinjuku and Shibuya. Quiet residential area with some restaurants and shops. The house is old, poorly ventilated, and in a natural setting. Not suitable for people with asthma or allergies to dust or animals. We have different lifestyles and are very busy most days. I'm an IT engineer and work from home, busy on weekdays. If you stay short-term, we may not have much time to meet with you. While you’re staying with us, we’ll have a get-together at home with drinks. Let me know whether you drink alcohol and if you have any dietary restrictions. My roommates are happy to share their knowledge of Japanese pop culture. They play video games, guitar, piano, ...

The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. hello, my name is Steven. my wife and I are living in this small rural town for 20 years and we know the surrounding area very well. I work as a health professional in the town. so we usually quite busy may only take you out to nearby tourist spot on weekends. Near Hamilton, there are mountains, hot springs, waterfalls, and beaches. It's about a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Melbourne. the land of my home is about one acre in size. Because I'm busy most of the time, there's a lot of grass that needs mowing, and some trees that need pruning. I have two cats, so their litter needs to be scooped every day. If you come in winter, you might need to light the fire place. There's a fire at home for heating. Yes, we burn large chunks of wood in winter. we have massage chair, red light therapy unit and a small oxygen chamber in TV room. As for cultural exchange, since I'm Chinese, I still maintain Chinese living habits. we also have rich life experience and knowledge, so if you're intere...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

Namaste! Thank you for stopping by. :-) I hope you will join me on my journey for a month, 2 months, or long-term. I have a pair of picturesque, riverfront hobby farms, each with a large 4-bedroom house. In time, want to transition the farms to more of a communal space. There are three acres of wild blueberries that I am currently converingt to organic production, six acres of pasture, and about eight acres of woods that provide more than enough firewood to heat both homes without having to clear-cut any areas. I have a small herd of alpacas and an even smaller flock of chickens, whom I allow to free range. We harvest a small portion of our food from the property, and my vision is to increase that slowly and steadily every year. For a long-term (and possibly lifetime) stay, I would particularly interested in these 3 individuals: 1. Someone to manage the livestock, including monthly shots for the alpacas 2. Someone to process and market the alpaca fibre 3. Someone to manage the lit...

** as of 22nd June we are looking for a helper to start round 9th July for an approx 2 week stay ** Your time here counts towards the 88 days working visa requirements as we are in a declared natural disaster region. We are a family in rural Australia who have helpers (only 1 helper at any one time) stay with us from time to time. Our experience has been that shorter stays of 2-3 weeks work best for our situation. We live on a beautiful property on the Nymboida River, a 15 minute drive from the town of Dorrigo and 40 minutes drive from Bellingen. We offer a luxurious, self contained cottage which is adjacent to our house but is also privately positioned. We have young children and enjoy meeting new people. We have a great swimming hole on the river (that we share with platypus and other creatures) and there are kayaks to use. Our wood fired sauna is a great way to end the day :) Our property is teeming with wildlife and 7 riverside hectares are set aside as a conservation area in...

Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. .

Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature couples as applicants are now open. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work.

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

hello, my name is Steven. my wife and I are living in this small rural town for 20 years and we know the surrounding area very well.

We're reactivating Helpx after a lapse since COVID as we need some help mostly with garden work, barrowing and spreading mulch. We've enjoyed having young ( and not so young) helpers from around the world over the years. We are a middle aged couple and an adult daughter living in a large house on the outskirts of Woolgoolga. We have fruit trees, native bushes, hilly block of land, possums kangaroos and other native animals. We would be grateful for any help provided and we would love to share stories about life experiences, travelling etc... Working times are flexible 2 to 4 hours a day, one day off a week. We are on the main road between Sydney and Brisbane, close to bus station, nearest railway station is Coffs Harbour. There's also an airport in Coffs Harbour.
