Accommodation is in the “blueberry cottage,' a self-contained flat that is across the lawn from our house. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen/dining room, computer and wifi. I stock the kitchen with good ingredients and between those and the orchard goodies you assemble your own breakfast. We start at 830 and work for four hours. I make a big lunch at the house for everyone (lots of home made bread and cakes) and the afternoons/evenings are your own. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Hello my name is Craig and I have an orchard just outside of Motueka. This is a 4 hectare property located at the north end of Tasman, a ten minute drive to the Abel Tasman walk and the beautiful beaches that surround this area. Here I grow cherries, apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines, apples and pears. Nearly always need help or if you are interested in growing food then let me know and I will see what I am up too. I am looking for some help to sort things out before the season starts at the end of November. Let me know if you are interested. This is a yoga and meditation centre, with olive and almond groves. We are looking for volunteers to help maintain the centre and help as needed. The work schedule would be approx 4-5 hours per day, and the work at the moment would include clearing land, planting trees, shredding branches and then spreading the mulch etc. Depending on the weather we may also be painting, cleaning, doing DIY or general gardening work. Available dates for 2026: 1st - 15th April & 4th - 18th November We are preferably looking for helpers with DIY skills / gardening skills / computer and editing skills/ an ability to join in with physical work.
