Hey there, thanks for checking us out. Welcome to Swansea, the most vibrant city in Wales! Conveniently located (less than 1 mile from train station, coach station, beach, and all city-wide entertainment), we welcome visitors from across the globe to sample Welsh/UK hospitality and cultural exchange. Renovating an old house, growing my own food and living a low impact lifestyle - that's what we're about. Why not come along and help us on that journey. Helpers with practical skills (DIY, building skills, painting & decorating, gardening...) particularly welcome, but training also provided if you are keen to learn. Dan is fluent French and Polish (and English!) with bit of Spanish, and Russian. Currently learning Welsh. Why not practice your language skills here! Please note, while I'm new to this Help-X platform, I've had loads of volunteers over the years with another platform.

We purchased this beautiful château in the Loire Valley in 2013 and with HelpXers like yourself, we worked tirelessly to renovate it, taking it from its dilapidated state to the current splendour of a modern 21st century castle. There is still a large space to renovate, as well as finishing touches all around the château, so we get excited if you have trade skills to offer. We have availability for you throughout the year from May through to October, and are keen to book interested people, like yourself, in for longer periods anytime over that period. We ask a minimum stay of two weeks with us, but longer periods are a big bonus. We love positive enthusiastic people who enjoy all that life offers and can share that energy with those around them. If you like working in the garden or have general handyman skills...we would love to hear from you. We would also love a stonemason to join us, as we always have a few stone walls to repair. And if you have experience working behind th...

Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM the end of June as we are fully booked until then. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. You will live as part of the family - during your stay, our home will be your home. We are a married couple living on a property with our DOGS, HORSES and some elderly but treasured chickens. Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs. There are stunning views looking out over a Devon Wildlife Nature Reserve and beautiful countryside. We live in a very attractive rural area of Devon on the outskirts of a beautiful old village called DOLTON (please look on "Google Earth") about a 45 minute drive from Dartmoor National Park. The village has a very friendly and active community, a church, 2 excellent traditional pubs, a pos...

We are Fabian and Stephanie, originally from Singapore and France. We are based in Oratia, on the edge of the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park, 18min drive from Piha beach and 8min from Henderson. We moved our Zen Forest Tiny House in April 2026 and have started landscaping around it (if you'd like to know more: Youtube link for our tiny house tour). We will privilege people who have a full profile, references and experience in landscaping. We welcome travellers who can help us with: - landscaping - this includes creating paths, garden beds, flowers beds ...

Hello Helpxers, I generally host between 2 and 4 people to help me out on a beautiful farm I have just bought in South Wales. I have bought this place to run as a retreat centre but I am also wanting to slowly build a self sustaining community. At the moment I am specifically looking for people to be here over the summer months. From the end of May to September (unless you are interested in volunteering for a retreat too - see below). Help atm needed on the farm, maintaining the veg patch and flower beds, campsite and b&b, wood prep - chain sawing, general farm maintenance, building work (building some infrastructure for the campsite), sorting some broken tiles, grass cutting - an anything else you might notice! The B&B at the moment is not busy but hopefully will pick up. Campsite is not yet going but hopefully will be by June. Also help in the house mainly keeping it clean and cooking. I am also looking for some volunteers specifically for a yoga retreat I am running from 27th - 3...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. Hi there travellers! I'm looking for someone to do some weeding, other gardening and other mostly outside work. There's a couple of leaks in my irrigation I have yet to find. I've always got inside work to do as well, mostly cleaning. So on these cold winter days, we can be busy inside. There's always lots to do. If you are a couple, or two couples even - you are welcome to buy and cook your own food and set your own pace around exploring/helping out in the garden. If you are travelling alone and prefer company you will be welcome to eat with us, and I am happy to set an extra place at the table. It will be expected that you spend more time hanging out with me in my garden! While you are here, whoever you are, you will be welcome to participate in our daily life, to learn about how Kiwis live. We have a large property with many apple trees, almond and peach trees, apricot and plum trees, plus lots of gardens. Also a lovely fire pit to enjoy a late night chat around. We have a ...

My wife Dana and I Oliver live with our 3 of our 4 kids, Lea(13), Ronja(7) and Alva(5), on an old farm, that we have bought in 2020, in a small village at the edge of the wester forest 25km outside Bonn. When we bought the farm it was in a rather poor condition and it took us about 2 years to renovate the house using alternative building materials as wood wool or clay as much as possible. The house we have more or less finished but the rest of the farm still needs same attention. The idea is to create a place where human can live in harmony with and from nature. Currently we have about 40 Galloway’s, 5 horses, 6 sheep, 1 dog, 3 cats, a docent chicken, 2 bee colonies and a small vegetable garden. We hope one day we will produce egnough so that the farm feeds us and the people living with us but to get there it is still a long way. When I was younger I travelled a lot. The biggest trip was a two years motorbike tour from Germany to New Zealand. But also spend some time in Africa as wel...

We have space for a lovely help X now .😊 We live in a warm, modern home just a 10-minute walk from the heart of Cork city, right beside the beautiful Lough and only a couple of minutes from University College Cork (UCC). Our location is ideal for exploring both the city and the scenic countryside of County Cork. I’m a language teacher and would be happy to help you improve your English through conversation and daily life. We are a bilingual English- French family. Living in Ireland, the kids are far stronger at English so you will get to practice lots of English with us. Still, we'd love a native french speaker who would enjoy reading French books with our kids on occasion. We’re a friendly family with three children: a 11-year-old girl, a 6-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old boy. I’m passionate about health and always trying to encourage the kids to eat well. We enjoy baking, spending time outdoors and learning about new cultures. We also have a cat, but he’s very independent and i...

Hello, my name is Florent, I'm 45 years old, I was a chef for about twenty years, and since 2017 I've been a spirulina producer. Spirulina is a microalga that's very rich in nutrients. It's a very environmentally friendly crop, requiring little energy and no pesticides. Spirulina needs sun and warmth to grow. The harvest season in our region runs from April to October, and it's during this period that I'm interested in hosting someone (I don't need two people at the same time, one is enough). I already have people helping me until the end of july, so I'm looking for someone from this period. I mainly need someone to help me harvest the spirulina but also sometimes to help me out on the farm with various tasks, as we do everything ourselves: cleaning, labeling, packaging, general maintenance and odd jobs, and also everything else that goes along with the spirulina production: clearing brush, chopping wood, going to markets from time to time, house construction, etc... I'm looking...

Hello to all kind and beautiful souls around the world! 👋 Warm greetings from the mountains of Lijiang, Yunnan! ☀️ My name is Linda, I am 39 years old Mom of 2 girls , originally from Chongqing. Hello. We are a small Llamas farm, located in the Pyrenees mountains. If you are looking for an original French experience, it could be the right place for you! Here in the high Pyrenees, near the Andorra & Spanish border, we offer you the possibility to live and work in a calm and isolated place, surrounded by high mountains and nothing but pure nature, and good meals "à la française" after our activities among our lamas (about 15 of them). We are a retired French couple, but we used to work and live in foreign countries and continents, which made us interested in people and cultures from all over the world. In the surroundings, there are beautiful places that we would be happy to make you discover, and if you want, we can trek together with Llamas... For your own, you get an entire and cosy apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 or 2 people, single or couple), and join us for generous meals, mostly with local products, that we like to share and appreciate together (so, no vegetarian requir...

Hello kind stranger! Our names are Claire and Michiel, we're a young Franco-Belgian family living on an old farmstead near the coast of Wissant, North of France. For 8 years now we are bringing the old farmhouses back to life, while also bringing up our two daughters: Fleur (5 yo) and Perle (3 yo). We've been hosts since 2021 and we love the life that a group of volunteers brings to our place. Making you discover French culture, nature and the sea helps us to enjoy it even more ourselves. Teaching French and picking up on your languages widens our world view and helps our kids to be future globetrotters - like you! The different nationalities we're welcoming make us feel like travelling the world while staying at home. Every day we're hosting, it widens our horizon and gives us love, laughter and friendship. So far we've made an old stable into our home, we've renovated a 'longère' (long farmbuilding) into a woodworker's workshop, our workshop and office space, we've landscaped the c...

We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. Also 6 chicken and 2 ducks, so we always have fresh eggs. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown edible garden. We're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We like to work with fun and laughter and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out. Be yourself and join the family... We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Please note that there's a minimum of 1 week stay, we do not like to be used as a pit stop. There's no maximum s...

We live in a river valley just outside Palmerston North, in the Manawatu area, and we are about 15km from town. We have a large family home on a small 'lifestyle' farm with sheep, cows, horses, chickens, ducks, dogs, & cat. There is a lovely swimming hole in the river just below the house, and we make our own power. We are off-grid. Our extended family & friends live near by. There are almost always farming, fencing, building, home made power, gardening, weeding & tree planting activities to be done. We are also currently finishing painting our house. We love talking to you and trying your cooking, and Sue loves to paint & draw & make music with you - Ralph goes for morning walks & we also enjoy playing games & have some great movies:-)

Sawasdee. To all beautiful people in the world, greeting from Thailand, I am Sunee , 69 years old from Thailand and I work as a member of an English support group in Phichit province ,after I had retired from a government position. My group aims to help develop the foreign languages (mainly English and Chinese) in schools so we need volunteers to work with us. In these schools, we provide the opportunity for the students in the remote areas to study and can communicate in English and other languages. At the moment we also provide Chinese language in schools because of the need from the parents so not only English teachers we do need Chinese teachers. And in some schools, we put more English and Chinese lessons for the students. That is the reason why we do need teachers to help teaching English and other languages (Chinese Vietnamese Japanese etc.)to our students. Our schools are in the villages far from the towns that is why there is no chance for the students to practice speaking Engl...

Few words about me first, I was an early user of couchsurfing and always loved to host people and travel the worlds visiting others. After a long bike trip through europe, I have settle down in switzerland, and would happily have travellers from around the worlds. I have a dog, she's the sweetest and follows me everywhere. I have recently bought a chalet to renovate in a small village in the Alps. Village is located above 1300m, in a wonderful valley. Close by you can enjoy hiking, biking, climbing, chilling in the hot baths of Leukerbad, tasting local wines, and much more. The Chalet I have bought needs quite some work and I wish to do most of it by myself, with helps for friends, family and maybe you ? I wish to renovate this chalet having the less impact as possible on the environnement. In addition to the house, I also have small parcels of garden that I wish to see full of life, fruits and vegetables and I will also need help on that. On site, we yet have cold water, sola...

Preference will be given to helpers with a genuine interest in learning about NZ dairy farming and animal husbandry. We love sharing what we do and prefer to host helpers with a desire to learn. We run a boutique dairy farm, milking a small herd of much loved cows and selling raw milk to our wonderful customers Starting a new business is hard work and not for the faint-hearted. If you consider yourself up for the challenge of helping us, we'd love to hear from you! We offer a family environment with opportunities for farm work, housework, gardening and cooking. There is a wide variety of work available. Working with the animals of course, weed control, plus fencing work, painting, carpentry, building and lots of different small tasks to complete. If outdoor work doesn't appeal, help in the house with cooking and cleaning is always appreciated, and the large and previously neglected garden also requires a lot of work. We try to fit the work to each helper's skills and interests, and ...

We are a family of four living on a lifestyle block in the beautiful Wairarapa, with the entrance to the Tararua Forest park just up the road. There you will find some great tramping, walking, mountain biking and a cool swing bridge across the river and a great swimming hole during summer. On our block we have a small herd of cattle, some sheep and a pony along side many birds living in the local landscape. We are presently looking for helpers for painting, gardening and always need help with firewood, gardening, riparian planting and general help (maybe some pony care for helpers who love horses) for an average of four hours a day in exchange for food and accommodation. The accommodation best suits a couple. We are 15 mins drive from Greytown and Carterton. Non-smokers only please. Please let us know if you have any special food requirements or allergies which might need to be considered during your stay.

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

WELCOME TO PARADISE GLENORCHY! We are a busy couple working full time and needing help with our property. Based in the spot chosen by the original settling family in the area, we have a really well established garden that needs taming and some quirky buildings that need some TLC. Looking for hardy gardeners, handy DIYers and folks who are keen to just generally get stuck in. We have a great retro caravan, sleep out, outdoor kitchen and bathroom set up that's screaming out for someone, two friends or a couple to bring it to life. At this stage we a only provide breakfast, but could do lunch in some situations. We have heaps of freezer space and suggest you stock up on a few dinners, and drinks in Queenstown before you get here as the local shops are a bit pricey. Spark phone signal is limited to the end of the drive, OneNz works just fine. - free internet available. We recommend helpers have there own wheels, as we're 5km outside of Glenorchy. There is however a bike you can use if ...

Hi! I'm Tonje and I moved to my farm in 2020. And there's always a lot to do here. This small farm is in a very small town, by the fjord in Hardanger. Its a good place for hiking and culture. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. But I need help with maintenance of the outdoor area, wood working, chopping firewood and snow shoveling. I also have an airbnb, so cleaning, organize and tidying jobs are also tasks that I may need help with. Help are appreciated a lot. For your help, I can offer beautiful scenery, food and a private bedroom.

The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in ...

I married into a local minority family here because I fell deeply in love with the rich culture and warm hearts of the ethnic minority people. ❤️ 🌱 Why I am here? As a mother of two lovely children, I see the limitations these children face. While they are brilliant and hardworking, their lack of English opportunity isolates them from the wider world. 🌍 Language is the bridge to the future. That is why I am dedicated to bringing free English education to the local primary and middle schools here. 📍 Our Location (Prime Spot!): 📍 Perfectly Located: We are just 1 km outside Lijiang Ancient Town. 🚶 Walking Distance: 1 min walk to the bus stop. 3 mins walk to the biggest Wet...

We live on a 5-hectare avocado orchard in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, 5 minutes from Waihi Beach. We are looking for couples or two friends who have their own transport, interested in short stays in return for 3 hours of work per day or equivalent, helping garden, cleaning, painting, and/or working on the orchard. We appreciate people helping with dishes, etc., after meals. Wendy works Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. During those days, you will be left to work by yourself. We are a Christian household. We have a sleepout located next to a tennis court, featuring one double bed, a shower, and a toilet. We also have free Wifi for guests. We have surfboards, and Waihi Beach is less than 5 km away. We prefer people who are not vegetarian or vegan. We have a couple of cows. Tauranga is a 40-minute drive south, and Auckland is 1 hour and 30 mins. north. In return for work, we would provide accommodation and food. NON-SMOKERS ONLY. Please only apply if your profile include...

*limited availability from March-September 1st 2026* We are finishing our building of a rammed earth house using natural building techniques and developing our permaculture garden. The house is off grid in beautiful bushland and our electricity is produced from our solar panels. Our filtered drinking water is collected off the roof and other water is pumped from the river. We are inland, at the north of the Sunshine Coast, just one hour from Gympie and an easy bus ride from Caboolture (near Brisbane). The bus costs $53. To get here by train and bus, take the train from Brisbane to Caboolture, then the bus from Caboolture to Wondai. The bus station is next to the train station. This bus only runs on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday and it leaves at 4.30pm and arrives at Wondai 7.15pm. We will pick you up in Wondai. The bus costs $53 single. You are advised to get to the bus station about an hour before it leaves to allow for late trains etc. http://www.purserscoaches.com.au/wp-content/u...
