We are a small-scale, organic vegetable farm in Palmer, Alaska. We grow an array of beautiful produce which includes carrots, tomatoes, strawberries, zucchini, brussel sprouts, romanesco, broccoli, potatoes, rhubarb, onions, beets, and many more. All of the vegetables we sell at local farmers markets are grown by us and are free of pesticides, GMOs, and chemicals. We not only believe that people should feel connected to their food, but we also feel that it should be delicious, healthy, and accessible. Work on the farm varies by season. In the Spring we spend our time prepping the field, sewing seeds, growing transplants, cultivating those seeds in the field, weeding, and watering. Other projects may include fixing up an old barn, introducing livestock, painting, weeding flower beds, building a treehouse, and building garden gates. Our home is on a quiet and peaceful country road with views of farms and fields and we have recently added a kitchen garden. The garden overlooks the river, which is great for catching small mouth bass and also attracts deer, bald eagles and other wildlife.
