Hey, hello you ! We are Caro and Chris, Zion and Kiara. We were travelling around the world since a gorgeous time until all this virus craziness happened. Caro, then Chris & Caro were backpacking, doing hitchhiking, etc... The beautiful wildlife. Then kids arrived in 2017 and 2019 so we mainly stayed travelling in Europe by van until they will be able to carry a little backpack ;) When the virus arrived, we were crossing Sweden. Everything became complicated with borders, shops and people so we decided to enjoy the strange time to build our home. We bought an over 300 years old stone house on a big peace of land which were abandoned and this new adventure started. Bretagne is a nice place full of culture, traditions, nice villages, forest and legends and history, and surrounded by the sea. After being helpers ourselves, we now want to be hosts too. We loved it so we expect people love it here too. Our kids are homeschooling with mainly their mother and we would be happy to have Eng...

NB - just in case you don't get to the end of the profile - we are vegetarian (mostly) - and we don't take picky eaters. - or smokers. We are terracing a steep section (with an amazing view), developing a fernery and planting out an orchard and native hedges. There are fantails and keruru in abundance. Though the development is sometimes hard work, it`s creative and fun. We are getting there but we could do with a bit of help from strong fit people whose knees can handle walking up and down a steep garden - usually with a load on.. We also have work repairing and painting garden furniture. We prefer hosting a couple or 2 friends who are keen gardeners - or have carpentry or brick laying skills - to help with garden maintenance. We also have a couple of hard-landscaping projects involving path construction and maintenance. Ideally, we would like people who are able to work with minimal supervision, who take pride in their work and want to do a job well, who are self-motivated, have ...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots...

Hi everyone , I would like to have some help to get my house and garden organized and take care of my dog, she is 8 year old and maybe some minor construction work like sanding or painting. It would be great to have someone around if possible for at least 2-3 weeks so if you want to be part of a fun time just contact us. The Region offers lots of beautiful sites to discover and many sports activities are available. Connections by train are easy to every were. I live in a small town on the country side, speak french, english and german. Feel free to ask more details. It would be great to host someone independant, who likes to organize work alone and who would enjoy the privacy of a room and bathroom in a house with a garden. Lots of opportunities to visit the country as trains are running often and anywhere from early morning to late night. We are used to travel and have enjoyed so many helpers from around the world. See you soon !

Autonomy for everyone, especially for you and us at mealtime ... Resources are shared according to the availability of the moment. More possibilities if my children are not there, less if I have other guests ... fortuitous ... In the meantime we have no shortage of space in the garden to let you plant your tent or you lend a space... This is the minimum we can guarantee. A cabin is also available on the family sailboat ... Here too, there is work ... The room with double bed of the house is not often free for our helper sometimes the chance does things well, ask what you want, we are in French Polynesia climate is stable all year ;-) We will not ask for more than 2 or 3 hours of help a day in exchange we plan to lodge without food, although fruits from the garden are still part of the tradition of sharing the house... It's up to you to do your shopping and your dish washing and cleaning up after, the load will be in our situation not equitable otherwise.

Hello, I’m David! I have sold my coffee shop after 45 years in the hospitality trade, where travelling workers would once work, however I STILL offer helpers the same excellent own room lodging as homestay & great food in exchange for a little light work and some social contact. I live close the train station and bus stop and am a 30 min trip by train to Melbourne City. There is a vehicle to drive locally if are appropriately licensed. You are welcome to use it. I go to the outback in western New South Wales about 3 times a year for the purpose of experiencing the beautiful "timeless land" of Australia and to legally hunt feral animals which endanger our wildlife. I often take workers to the outback so they can have a taste of the real Australia and I can assure that none of the numerous helpers/woofers I have taken over a many year period did not thoroughly enjoy it. . However the choice is theirs whether they accompany myself or whether they stay and "mind the house" I also oft...

Hi, I’m Sonson, a carpenter originally from Germany. I’m building two simple thatched bamboo-clay A-frame houses together with indigenous craftsmen — a lightweight, low-tech prototype for a small experimental settlement. I’m looking for 2–3 practical people who want to work hands-on with us in the mountains of Puerto Galera. 3.5 work days per week. The rest: beaches, corals, sea, garden, jungle, nightlife. No participation fees. During the work days, food is fully provided. During free days, you are free to organize your own meals — there are affordable options with street food around, and our lowland base offers a simple setup with a pantry kitchen. Enjoy garden, jungle, beach, lagoon, provincial small town or international night life – it's all in walking distance. Or simply relax in a hammock. . 🛠 What you’ll actually do Hands-on work only: • digging foundations • harvesting bamboo, cogon, thatch reed • bamboo carpentry • nipa thatching • clay-ovens, adiabatic cold storage • s...

Hi there Traveler We offer a farm stay with great views and good conversation. We chopped down a pine forest and replanted with Manuka about 4 years ago so it’s starting to look really great, and more native birds are about. Established a wetland reserve as well. Also we are developing another small retreat area that needs assistance with tracks and tree management. Some stock work is all so on offer but we will work with you all the time as it’s safer and more fun. cheers and safe travels Geoff and Declan

Update (10th April 2026): We are unlikley to have any accommodation available for Helpx until June 2026. Hi there, We are a friendly couple living 12km west from the town of Esperance, near the (not pink!) Pink Lake, on the Great Ocean Drive. You need to have your own vehicle and drivers licence to stay with us. We would love some help with general maintenance tasks on our 5 hectare property. We both have full-time jobs running our business, Lucky Bay Brewing (located on the east side of Esperance near Bandy Creek boat harbour). Our home is surrounded by natural bush with lots of bird life, with a fruit orchard, olive grove, a dog, .... and did have a large organic vegetable garden, chickens & ducks. However, our vegetable garden and chicken house are currently not functional, due to our busy work-life - so these are the main tasks we really want some help with. We love meeting people from other places around the world and sharing experiences. You are welcome to stay in our basi...

Hi, my name is Mary. I live on the border of NSW and Victoria, a town called Albury. There is a train service to Albury from Sydney about 9 hours and Melbourne about 5 hours train trip. I am happy to pick someone from the Albury railway station. Albury is a pretty town on the Hume Highway. It is inland on the Murray River and there are a lot of local attractions, vineyards, historical small towns, snow fields and many more, only a few hours drive. I am located in town, with the railway station and the airport not too far, about 15minutes drive. I am fully vaccinated and require the same of a helper. I only take Non-smokers (meaning you do not smoke at all, outside as well). Currently I am asking for 2.5hrs a day for board only. You can cook for yourselves, buy supplies locally and after cooking clean your area. I would like help with the garden and other general duties around the house, such as cleaning. If you are travelling this way, either going to Melbourne or locally and can hel...

We are a couple located on Flathead Lake with 200 feet of very private lake shore, beautiful orchards, and incredible views of Flathead Lake. There are a wide variety of activities in the Flathead Valley during each season, but it would be preferable for you to have your own transportation to most of them outside of our property. We are also looking for a long term stay to run your own 3 acre farm. We have a setup so that you can have your own animals (probably sheep and goats), chickens, ducks and your own hugelkultur garden which has lots of good manure and perennial vegetables and plants. Please call me to discuss this option if you are interested, and what the exchange would be. Polson is about 20 Miles to the south, and Bigfork 10 miles to the North. We are also within close driving distance of Kalispell & Whitefish, and within hours of stunning Glacier National Park. There are Hot Springs about an hour nearby, Nordic skiing a half hour away, and downhill skiing an hour an a ...

Hi there! I'm a 36 year old regenerative farmer near Daylesford about 1.5 hours North West of Melbourne and I've been farming here for just over 12 years now. Work on the farm is varied but mainly consists of helping with the cows, varied farm projects, weeding, harvesting vegetables, small scale construction and lounging in the woodfired bath! Also if you have any ideas of projects you would like to be involved in building on the farm we would love to hear from you. On our wish list at the moment is building a tiny house, a wood-fired hot tub, bio-gas digester, rocket stove and the list goes on! We have unlimited wifi here and will provide organic food for you to cook and also have some group dinners too. Accommodation is in a separate caravan that is perfect for couples. For more information and photos check out the website link above and if you're interested in helping out get in touch. Main projects at the moment are helping with the cattle, collecting firewood, farm tidying up a...

If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...).

We are a busy family living in a large home nestled between the Blue Mountains and Wollemi National Parks. We are 15 minutes from Richmond train station and 1.5 hours from Sydney CBD. We are looking for a dynamic, self motivated couple to come and help our family. Because we are so busy we really are only looking for people who have lots of initiative and who can work independently. GETTING HERE Your own car is not essential but would be beneficial. If you don't have a vehicle we can pick you up from Richmond train station. Ben travels to Penrith most days for work so catching a lift...
