Looking for assistance from late March and through summer 26. We moved north from Vancouver to escape the noise and the craziness and to find a spot to live in beauty. We found one and now are on the edge of nothing but more nothing all 400 km to the Pacific. We are 20 km outside of a small town halfway between nowhere and not much. Sharing that is a pleasure. Nearly everything we do now is in support of one thrill: adventures in food. But rural living out here in mid-nowhere means that there are endless other things to be tasked as well: construction, gardening, maintenance of many sorts, enhancing the natural beauty around us. Chances are that if you could describe a pure-fun, physical job, there would be something here I could offer that might satisfy those urges. If you want to work hard, eat marvelous meals and have a fabulous time in the gardens, the workshop and the kitchen, come join us and get a relaxing feel of rural life. PLUS, for all you thrill seekers/amateurs des sensa...

Hello travellers! My name is Liam and I’m looking for some help landscaping ahead of building a sauna on my property. Guests will have their own room, with queen bed, wifi, and located only 15 minutes to Hobart CBD. About me: I’m in my early 30ies and work full time in town. I love getting out there all over tassie, including mountain biking, fossicking, rock climbing, saunas (obviously) and hiking. Closer to home, I enjoy baking, board games and woodworking. I travelled a lot in my early twenties and did a lot of couch surfing, and hosted back here in Aus. I love the community feel and cultural exchange that happens thanks to couch surfing and am really excited to host more people via HelpX. You and your stay: I’m happy to host a couple or individuals and could potentially host two couples. We’ll be sharing the space including bathroom and kitchen facilities. I want everyone to feel at home and you’re very welcome to join me on social and weekend adventures, including rock climb...

I'm a seasoned solo backpacker turned host, who has explored over 25 countries and has a wealth of life experiences to share. I love breakfast, sun by the sea, music, playing the guitar, and cooking Italian dishes. We have a spacious terrace that's perfect for grilling, cooking, and enjoying music vibes. We have a variety of projects in the pipeline, including producing different kinds of liquor, painting the fence, taking care of the vertical garden, the chicken house, try to start with the production of our own soap. We also have gardening, general maintenance, painting, cooking, and cleaning tasks that need to be done. For this year I’m looking also for who’s excited about hands-on projects and creativity! Please read our profile carefully, and see our website and instagram. If you feel you are the right person or people for us, we look forward to receiving your application. This is a permaculture small farm on the edge of Violet Town, just 800m from the train station. The farm is well established, as most tree planting was done between 1996 and 2000, and the tree crops are well maintained and productive. We have a large established fruit and nut orchard, an olive grove, vegetable gardens, chickens, milking goats, bees, forestry for shelter and timber, and large dam for irrigation and swimming. Our house is made of timber and mud brick, and we catch our own water. Most of our food comes from the house garden and farm, including a huge range of fresh fruit all year round, a range of vegetables for each season, honey, cheese, olive oil, table olives, and home killed or hunted meat. We eat shared meals, most meals are vegetarian. Type of jobs: farm and garden work, combined with learni...

A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

I recently bought a 46 foot sailboat that is undergoing a mini refit. I am very experienced after 27 years sailing in the Caribbean and Bahamas. Getting on in years now so would be good to have some younger muscle on the boat. Come for a day or two or longer. Depends on how we get on and what sort of time you have for an adventure. The boat is in Auckland at a very nice marina. Access to the city by ferry. I am also looking after a house at the moment while the owners are away. The place could do with some gardening. Looking for someone NOW as I have a young guy joining me on January 25th.

This is only the second school in Nagarkot, nice Nepalese village in Bhaktapur district; a 1.5 hrs bus ride from Kathmandu. It hopes to provide an English medium education for underprivileged children. The school has 7 staff members taking care of its 80+ students - aged from 4 to 12 years old - and would benefit from any help volunteers can provide. Volunteers can expect to as class helpers and also share teaching tips with the school if they can. Volunteers can also help beautify the classrooms murals to help the kids as visual aids during their school time. Becoming an independent class teacher is also an option for long-term volunteers as soon as they have a grasp on the school's curriculum and vision for students. Other jobs for volunteers include: - Writing class exercises and homework exercises for students (we have no printing/photocopying facilities) - Designing class quizzes and tests - Introducing interactive, educational games through which children can learn ...

Hello Helpers! I live on a small 5 acre lifestyle block, 48 km South of Auckland CBD, that is also home to one horse (Meg), two small inside dogs (Alfie and Lacey), a cat (Sylvie) and some free-range hens who happily provide eggs for our breakfast. I can offer short stays of approximately ONE WEEK only, for a single helper or a couple. Mature, practical-minded people with a few years life experience, a good work ethic and a good understanding of the English language are preferred. None of the jobs are difficult but you do need to be reasonably FIT and you need to be able to work independently. Non-smokers/non-vapers only please. I've had some amazing helpx helpers that have helped establish the kitchen gardens and some help is now needed on general gardens and landscaping. Depending on the time of the year, some of the tasks you may be asked to help with are: planting trees/shrubs, weeding and mulching garden beds, grubbing thistles, paddock weeds and brush-cutting (strimming/w...

HI HELPERS!!! WELCOME TO JOHN`S FUN FACTORY!!! BULLETIN: I live in a beautiful isolated Tasmanian mountain valley surrounded by world heritage rain forest and some VERY TALL Trees!(but not as big as the Hinoki trees at AliShan in Taiwan!!) Most of my property is a nature reserve, but I have a 2 Hectare orchard, berry garden and vegetable garden which are all useless! The possums, wallabies and birds eat most of these (trees included!) so we live on ice cream and chocolate biscuits instead! Please come and help us eat the biscuits so I don`t get too fat! I have been a volunteer host for 18 years and I have had more than 1700(Yes!!!you read it correctly!) fabulous, lovely, wonderful volunteers stay with me. Many of them have come back for second, third…or even 10th visits!!!!! Work can be really diverse including tree planting, mowing grass, helping to install forest fire...

STOP TILL OCTOBER Hello there! Come join me on an exciting adventure in the beautiful town of Cervo! I'm a seasoned solo backpacker turned host, who has explored over 25 countries and has a wealth of life experiences to share. I love breakfast, sun by the sea, music, playing the guitar, and cooking Italian dishes. At my place, you'll meet Ciccio, the super zen cat, and a gang of 8 chickens that provide fresh eggs (and some fertilizer too!). If you’re into DIY and enjoy transforming unique...

Hi we need help from 18th January 2026 onwards Looking for helpers wanting to stay 4 weeks or longer but we will consider shorter stays so do get in touch! Also looking for helpers wanting longer term. Someone with housekeeping experience is best for us but really anyone who is happy to help and likes cleaning 🙃 We are a family of 4, myself and my hubby and our two young daughters.

We have 4 bedrooms for travelers and helpers in our guest house available for you (can accommodate probably up to 10 people) and there is also a game room, swimming pool (in the summer) and basketball court on the property. Oh, by the way, all the Wallabies are called "Skippy" and they don`t mind a bit of apple or banana occasionally.
