Hi everyone. We are searching for a non smoking female helper for 4 weeks this summer (19th of July to 16th of August). French or English speakers are welcome. It's imperative to like children. We are a couple with a baby and we will rent an appartement in "La Toussuire" (French Alps) for four weeks. La Toussuire is around two hours driving from our home. La Toussuire is a ski resort and the main activities in summer are hiking, biking, swimming in lakes... There is few little shops in La Toussuire but there are bigger shops in Saint Jean de Maurienne, around 20 minutes driving. We are searching for someone to come with us. You will have your own room in the appartement. There are some buses there but it's maybe better if we drive you if you want to visit a little bit around. Of course, you're welcome to all activities we will do with our daughter. We ask some help to take care of our baby (play, feeding, go outside with her, do activities...) and a little bit for cooking and cleani...

Stay with us by a beautiful lake, wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy the sunrise from our beach, disconnect from the noise, become more sustainable, feel the essence of nature and climb the volcano where we live. We are looking for self-sufficient and collaborative individuals to join our team of four volunteers dedicated to maintaining and guarding the property. Hi there Traveler We offer a farm stay with great views and good conversation. We chopped down a pine forest and replanted with Manuka about 4 years ago so it’s starting to look really great, and more native birds are about. Established a wetland reserve as well. Also we are developing another small retreat area that needs assistance with tracks and tree management. Some stock work is all so on offer but we will work with you all the time as it’s safer and more fun. cheers and safe travels Geoff and Declan

Hello! We have an avocado finca between Nerja, which is a beautiful small touristic town at Spain‘s south coast and Maro, a nice and small village. The surroundings include many pleasant beaches, as well as mountains in the north of Nerja. You can enjoy the sunny weather most days of the year. We are transforming our finca from monoculture to polyculture by using permaculture techniques. We would love to create a biodiverse edible food forest. We started with 100 old avocado trees and now we have planted bananas, papayas, mangoes, maracuja and other vegetables and fruits. We spend as much time as possible on the finca, but we aren't here for the whole year. We love a simple and minimalistic life close to nature. Our luxury is the fresh spring water floating across our land that we use for watering the plants and showering, and the fresh fruit we eat every day. For volunteers who want to visit us we have tents to live in. Preferably you have your own slimbag with you. There is an...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

We are currently accepting helpers for 2026. At this time of year we have lots of repair, building, animal husbandry, 'old' school pasture creation, gardening, food production, preservation, and harvesting and other gardening projects on the go. Depending on timing there may be opportunities to participate in animal butchering, sausage making, cheese making and more. (Any job involving animal slaughter is always optional and available only to those who would benefit from the experience.) We expect 25hrs a week and provide all meals and Accommodation in return. Outside of specific farm based events such as sausage making, your schedule is up to you if you are an independent worker. Many Helpers prefer to compress their work week or even change their days-off and we are always open to that conversation. If you are looking to learn about soil science, Permaculture or regenerative agriculture, Marc is an experienced educator and sought-after public speaker who is willing to take ...

Over the next month: seeking dog sitter! Also: We're always looking for assistance in property maintenance in the fields and on our private bike park. We also quite often are on the lookout for those who have experience in web content and photo and video editing to help update our websites. Please read!! 😀 We have a peaceful, rural lifestyle block with a number of heritage chickens and a cat and dog. Our residence is a scenic 20-minute drive out of Nelson. For this reason, having your own transport is ideal (but not a deal breaker!). We offer rooms and/or studio accommodation and food / meals to hard-working folks happy to help out with various projects around the property, including gardening, landscaping, building and improving our mountain bike and jump track, mowing, weed whacking, eliminating weeds, some house cleaning, cutting fire wood, and other non-technical chores. Sorry folks, but we are now fully booked until the beginning of September 2026. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, self defense, jewellery making, or help Tony with his book and video courses, we could be a great match. Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. It is surrounded scraggy mountains and long valley walks. It is perfect for hiking or just relaxing in the sun with a good book. Within easy traveling distance for those interested in exploring this culturally rich island, is the seaside town of Cefalù or even the main capital city of Palermo, both are easily accessible by bus and train from the local town. Some time ago, we moved to the countryside. We built an ecohouse from strawbales. Our homestead is: 1.4ha of honeyberries planted in Spring 2016, 0,1ha of mixed orchard, where we planted old species of fruit trees (apple, pear, plum and cherry trees), 0,01 ha of cranberry and a vegetable garden. We have bio-certification of our farm. In everyday work, we are supported by a dog - Golden Retriever and 2 cats that live with us. In this season we will need help with weeding. 2026 will be a very busy and interesting year. We're eager for more changes on our farm. In the spring, we'll be making changes to the cranberry beds. More comfort and less work later. We'll also be starting a new vegetable garden. We'll be pruning our haskap berry patches a lot. This spring, the first chickens and ducks will arrive, so there will be eggs. Autumn will also bring big changes. New plantings of quince, sea buckthorn, cranberries, currants, and chokeberries. If you're curious and interested, we warmly invi...

We have a big garden with medicinals plants and vegetables. We are experimenting different ways to cultivate. We are always satisfied to learn various agricultural technicals. We sell our production with two market by week so it's lot of work! We have 15 cheeps, lots of chickens and 4 cats. And we have 15 dunkeys of Pyrénées in the place to eat grass and to work with Fabien for montain trecking. I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. Hei ! Here is Ingunn and Mathieu. We are a Norwegian-French couple and since mai 2021 a happy family of three. Our family house "Karnes Gaard" is a farm since the 16th century. In 1912, Ingunn's grand father gave part of the land for the Tromsø county to build "Solhov", prestigious boarding school and largest wooden building north of Trondheim. When Ingunn took over the farm in 2009, running it organically felt something obvious. And when Solhov was for sale the next year, a dream became possible : sharing our love for the Lyngen Alps by hosting guests who seek breathtaking surroundings, healthy stay and organic local food, peaceful lifestyle and carbon-free activities. Our dream is to serve as much as possible our organic and local products to these guests. Originally we grow potatoes and strawberries. We are trying several small scale production to see what is possible to grow here up north. At the moment, we are focusing in : - increasing our honeybees park, hives and flowers -...

Hey you ! Do you want to come and spent some nice time in wild Transylvania ? It's a place where the time has stopped and rural life isn't a fake touristic attraction but beautiful hard reality. My house and grounds are located in the hills nearby Bradetu village, 750m up in the Carpathian Mountains by the foot of the highest part - Fagaras. The environment is a healthy variation of forest and prairies, streams and rivers blooming with (sometimes rare) life. The air is clean, fresh and the night skies are glorious. *Home My home is an eco-friendly straw bale construction. Clay was used for the finishing of the straw walls and interior walls. The floor of the attic was filled with sheep's wool. You will have one big room with spectacular views all around. Sanitation is basic because of no running water. In the house is a dry toilet using sawdust, bath and wash-basin. Inside the house you can find mobile signal out mostly only weak, wifi connection. The sun gives us enough electricity...

Townsville is a tourist hub, with access to beach, mountains, reef, rainforest and bush. Cranbrook is a leafy suburb across the river from the university, close to Riverway (free freshwater swimming lagoon, with art gallery) and shops, and on the bus route. There are large trees around my house, and there is always gardening or raking to do. My mother lives in a house 3 minutes away, and I help her with her garden. Accommodation is a granny flat with a powder room attached. There is a fold out double couch, plus a single bed mattress if required. You will share the bathroom and kitchen - in exchange for gardening, maintenance, paving, painting, cooking or housework. Must love dogs - my dogs like to oversee human pursuits like digging, weeding and walking. I can assist with transport to local hiking spots, beach, or parks, or can pick you up from train or bus station. Prefer helpers who are non-smokers with family-friendly values, and able to work unsupervised when I go out. ...

We are an organic orchard smallholding, nestled in a forest in a beautiful valley in Andalucia, Spain. We are completely ‘off grid’ and to reach us requires your feet, enthusiasm and self motivation, as it is only accessible by foot. With no road access, this land is a gem; private, quiet, emersed in nature and forest trees. There are eco-structures on the land including; a partly renovated, original small homestead, 2 yurts, a small cob shelter and sauna, earth bag communal kitchen area and solar showers and compost loos … Your accommodation could be within any of these habitable structures. We are preferably seeking a couple (preferably) or two good friends, who may wish to stay here long term as guardians and caretakers, with the appropriate skill base. A 'finca sitting' role for when the person who lives here needs to go away, as there are 2 cats and a dog to take care of. There is NO ROAD ACCESS. It is necessary to arrive by foot, but there are two different paths leading to a...

FESTIVAL June-July 2026 This is a call to FESTIVAL! When I started to read about permaculture about 15 years ago I decided to go all in. Now I have a really interesting foundation and a lot of projects where only the interesting parts are missing. The reason why it is like this is that this has been the work if two and four hands - almost no capital, recycling and up-cycling pretty much everything. I and we were not able to involve the local community- that is, the gates have been open and many tours, explanations, plants and fruits and veggies have been given out - but I reach out to international community, again, to help me out here. To have a festival we will need a lot of hours and preparation but we will have great fun! DESCRIPTION. We are fortunate to have two projects going on that complement each other. One 15 year old food forest of 4000 square meter on a big island, and an older house on a smaller island nearby with 20 000 square meters. Here we can accommodate mo...

We are a small-scale, organic vegetable farm in Palmer, Alaska. We grow an array of beautiful produce which includes carrots, tomatoes, strawberries, zucchini, brussel sprouts, romanesco, broccoli, potatoes, rhubarb, onions, beets, and many more. All of the vegetables we sell at local farmers markets are grown by us and are free of pesticides, GMOs, and chemicals. We not only believe that people should feel connected to their food, but we also feel that it should be delicious, healthy, and accessible. Work on the farm varies by season. In the Spring we spend our time prepping the field, sewing seeds, growing transplants, cultivating those seeds in the field, weeding, and watering. As we move into summer and fall helpers will have the opportunity to harvest and sell the fruits and vegetables that have been growing the past few months at the local farmers’ markets.

Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

Of course, you're welcome to all activities we will do with our daughter. We ask some help to take care of our baby (play, feeding, go outside with her, do activities...) and a little bit for cooking and cleani...

We are currently accepting helpers for 2026. At this time of year we have lots of repair, building, animal husbandry, 'old' school pasture creation, gardening, food production, preservation, and harvesting and other gardening projects on the go. We have been fully vaccinated and will welcome helpers who have also been fully vaccinated. My niece and I have a scenic country home on two acres with spectacular views of rolling hills. There are excellent hiking and biking trails nearby, and beaches of Lake Simcoe are only 20 minutes away by car, one hour by bike. We will be happy to drive you there. Two bicycles and high speed WiFi is available. We have two dogs and two cats. We are located one hour north of Toronto - accessible by Go Transit to Newmarket, where we will pick you up.

We are an organic orchard smallholding, nestled in a forest in a beautiful valley in Andalucia, Spain. We are completely ‘off grid’ and to reach us requires your feet, enthusiasm and self motivation, as it is only accessible by foot.
