The farmhouse is more than a hundred years old and is located just a few meters away from a lake, which we can use exclusively for fishing, swimming and anything else. Open for helpers from mid February until mid December. Not outside this period. Small farm without any farming since the land is rented out, but the forest is maintained by me. Also have a vegetable garden and berry bushes and lots of machines like tractors, ATV, snowmobile etc. I have 2 sons that are visiting regularly. We are looking for helpers for 2 weeks in August 2026 An old papermill in a lovely wooded valley next to a river. 9 miles from Bath and 4 miles from the train line to London. We have been working on the mill for 18 years bringing it back to life. We are restoring a variety of traditional buildings including barns and industrial mill buildings. Over time our aims include reinstating hydro-power, providing craft workshops, and making the mill a vibrant part of the community. Two caravans, one with a wood-burning stove (or camping, we can provide tents) in a pretty field. Food provided for you to cook in a covered outdoor kitchen.
