I live in a large house in Veyrin, a very very small village, in a very nice countryside in France, 90km East of Lyon, not fare from the Alps. Genève (Switzerland) is 1h30 driving. I'm looking for non-smokers helpers, who could help me 4h/day in my organic vegetable garden or helping me to welcome holidaymakers and pilgrims in my gite. You will have your own bedroom. The common kitchen is to be shared with everybody. The food is vegetarian. I can speak English. If you are sportive we can lend you a bicycle to visit around. The first town is 12km from Veyrin. I have a cat. I don't accept others pets. Please contact me if you want more details. You can also have a look on my website via link below. Looking forward meeting you.

My name is Selly and I am the founder of an association. I live in the city of Morogoro in Tanzania, where I was born. I founded this association 4years ago with the aim of promoting access to education for children,Youth and-women in my country and hometown. Unfortunately, although Tanzania has exceptional wildlife and culture, access to education is marked by significant inequalities. Approximately 3.5 million school-age children and adolescents are not enrolled in school, and nearly 30% of children aged 5 to 14 are working, 94% of whom are in the agricultural sector. Additionally, child labor still affects approximately 4.2 million children aged 5 to 17. If you wish to get involved in our project, you are welcome, whether it be for the short or long term. For the past two years, we have regularly welcomed volunteers of all backgrounds to participate in our project, but also to discover our country, its exceptional wildlife and flora, and to exchange ideas about our culture. If ...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...

Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish; fruit/veg etc. Swim at the beach across the road, go fishing or take out the kayaks (experience and wearher dependent). Take the bike and pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri. Do an overnighter to The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into the vast iconic view and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, as we move into the dotage we need help with the massive task of #296, so we are keen to have people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. We also enjoy welcoming solo travellers from anywhere, any age, who may not have a car. Your help will help me realize a ten-year plan. 1. To create gardens...

Hello travelers, my name is Abidine Al-Boudani. I live with my family in a small town called Tagounite in the southeast of Morocco. Our family only settled during the middle of the last century, originally we descend from nomads, but have made a home in the Daraa Valley now. In walking distance to our house we have an organic farm, a 50 year old heritage from when my grandfathers settled down here. The farm is a beautiful place for anyone - be it people coming by themselves, friends, couples, families, pets - to spend an enjoyable time, connecting with the nature of the desert. ~ACCOMODATION~ Volunteers with tents can pitch them in the garden. Some families who come with a motorhome, truck and vehicles have the option to park right next to it. Currently an insulated tent is being constructed next to the garden house, which is also in progress. This accommodation will offer a more quiet environment than the family house, but comes with no bathroom yet at this point. If people need ...

Hey there! I’m Belle 👋 *****Looking for assistance from the end of July to August 15th. Dates are flexible either side of this. Welcome to my little slice of paradise in Manly, QLD-just 150m from the water! 🌊 It’s a beautiful, laid-back spot with plenty to explore. On weekends, you can stroll down the boardwalk to the local markets (just a 15-minute walk), soak up the coastal vibes, or check out some of the great bars and restaurants nearby. Getting around is a breeze—there are scooters, buses, and a train station just 200m away. A little about me: I’m an outgoing, fun-loving adventurer who thrives on meeting new people from all walks of life. I love Pilates, exploring new places, and making the most of the outdoors. I also have a 19-year-old daughter, Charli, who works locally. She's very outgoing and friendly. We love sharing Aussie experiences with guests, whether that’s sightseeing, swapping travel stories, or helping you improve your English. Oh, and let’s not forget Suede- ...

Our community is a colorful, international bunch of nice people, with Austrian, Middle Eastern, Polish, and German roots and many international friends from all over the world. Feri (43) and Lise (50) currently live here permanently. The children, Layla (12) and Aisha (10), visit us regularly on weekends and during holidays. Natalia (30) and her two children, Maja (11) and Damian (7), also come by from time to time when they are not traveling in their camper van. Feri's cousins visit us regularly to enjoy time together and prepare delicious oriental food! We also have many other visitors (friends, helpers, and family) from all over the world. We have a big family and a lot of friends who come from all over the world to visit. We sometimes have family events and could use an extra hand getting things ready—whether that's preparing rooms or other bits and pieces. Don't worry, we don't have paying guests; all our visitors are family and friends. We're living the dream here in Lower Austr...

Hi, I’m Keith. Since 2012, hundreds of volunteers from many countries have helped our projects. We are very grateful for their help and many have become our good friends and come back for a second, third or even fourth visit! In 2020 I started a new project in a town in Northern Ireland. It’s a campus that focuses on peace building education. Our aim is to creatively and sensitively explore the resistances to peacebuilding - knowing that such resistance can resource transformation. It’s not a commercial business, but a “not-for-profit” that needs lots of volunteers! We have three types of volunteers. 1. Volunteers - help with site work, painting, maintenance, cooking, cleaning, maintenance, office work. They come for a couple of months, though sometimes a shirt as two weeks or as long as a year! 2. Interns - come for at least 2 months, often 3 or 4 months or longer, and do work such as research related to their studies, marketing, accounts, social media, fundraising and grant...

From sunrise to sunset we are having fun and loving the land, with tons of hiking/biking trails, and a nearby connection to a 25 mile network. There's generally a refreshing breeze here, but when it gets too warm we head down to our stream & spring fed pond, which is a piece of heaven -- deep and cool. Our whole mountain is magical, with strong meridians, and located in a very artsy & progressive part of southern Vermont. And yes, there's a lot involved in being good stewards, even though we are not a commercial farm, so we have many diverse projects, and you might assist in managing our generous garden, making meals, clearing land, nurturing the flower beds, painting, bucking up or stacking firewood, routine cleaning & maintenance, doing arts & music with Luna, or building a steam hut or other structures, for several hours most days. If you ha...

We are located at the South of the state of JALISCO, close to the Pacific. Nearby interesting places: pueblos magicos de Mazamitla and Tapalpa, cute city of Colima, Boca de Pascuale famous surf spot, local river, resort Laguna La Maria, city of Comala. "balnearios" (hot springs), extinct volcano El Nevado (4,000 m above sea level, base camp at 3,500), rodeos in Queseria, gourmet restaurant in Montitlan, typical mexican restaurants on "La Libre" between Tonila and San Marcos... At the ranch: bonfires, birds watching, board games, hammocs, and around: nice walks, food foraging, "leche caliente" and milking cows. Future eco-village: you will help build a building with natural materials (stone, lime, earth, clay, sand, straw, reused bottles, etc...) and will help with our food forest: germinate seeds, transplant them, plant trees, harvest food, make compost, liquid fertilizers, manage pests, grow veggies... During your time off you may use the tools for any personal project you may hav...

We have two sites. One is in an urban setting (Urban) in Cuernavaca, and the other is located in the rural area of Miacatlan Morelos (Rural), next to Xochicalco, close to Cacahuamilpa caves, Taxco, and South of Mexico City. We are building our version of an Earthship with a green house. The Earthship is to house several vital cycles. A vital cycle is based on a water cycle where the plant kingdom and animal kingdom sustain each other. In our cycle we have fish whose droppings nourish the plants. The plants are rice, azolla, We have the current challenge to make a cycle that includes, 5 dogs, and 8 chickens and us the stewards. The tasks change regular according to the season. A typical day includes house keeping, gardening, construction collecting wood, working the landscape, etc.. Start the day with a hot drink some fruit, bread, take a break for lunch. We have dinner around 6 pm. We have bikes for transportation and days off can be arranged. With plenty of free time. We need he...

I'm looking for couples or singles who are travelling around the South West in their Camper Van or Car with tent etc..., basically they need to be mostly self contained. I have some nice camp sites here that are clean, safe and located in a private, natural setting. If you and your partner would like to come, stay and help me here, please send me a message ! I can also probably help you with many things.., I might even be able to help you find local employment opportunities ! I have lived on my own little permaculture farm beside the Leeuwin/Naturaliste National Park forest since 1982. I have built my own home using local granite stone and timber( milled from the floor of my creek line). I am now fully 'off grid' in my solar active/passive house. There's still some painting(water based) work to finish the house off, plus I'm also percolating some plans to build a house connected greenhouse. I am currently seeking help from a couple of travellers for some basic property mai...

Helpers!!! Need help!) Especially for carpentry work to build a pergola at the barbeque area Looking for the helper. I am in a permanent building process of my old stone house. Any building skills are very welcome!!)) Masonry, carpentry, strong hands and clever mind - all I need here)) The house is situated very close to the cost of Atlantic ocean. Big plot of land rounded the house - so garden skills are welcome too. The place is really nice to stay for the nature lovers and surf fans. There are dozen absolutely stunning beaches around here almost empty when the tourist season is over. Really beautiful mountains full of chestnuts and mushrooms in the autumn. Fishing and horse riding are available too (I have a beautiful stallion). And of course the costal views are amazing (authentic paradise for the photo enthusiasts)! Preferably artistic minded people mostly the painters who can share there knowledge and art skills. Artists with strong hands are welcome))

Hi! I've got a fixer upper house that I'm turning into a massage and yoga training centre. I've also got a front and back garden which I'm turning into a menstrual herbs and flowers patch for home/herbal remedies. I'm a yoga teacher, a massage therapist and a relationship coach but while I'm renovating the house I'm working as a school crossing guard and in a nursery as lunch cover. I'm at work for 5 hours a day and out of the house for an extra hour while walking between the jobs. I hate leaving my babies home alone so just having you at home with the cats for a few hours during the day would be the world of help to me. There's my beloved Whisky (17yrs old) and my adorable Babushka (10yrs old) who are both girl cats and then there's a darling little boy kitten called Monsieur Cuddles (1.5 yrs old). They all need love, attention, enrichment, entertainment and people to play with and sit on. I'm curently renovating the kitchen and then I want to focus on the garden as I want to build...

Current projects are building a new cottage for myself which is at the internal painting stage! and similar 2-bedroom cottage as a guest house which is at the internal lining and painting stage! both will be total off grid power and water supply. HELLO HelpXers!! Before sending us a message, please read this posting all the way to the end. We have a detailed profile to help to avoid miscommunications and unclear expectations between us and helpers. This tends to make for the best exchange for everybody! --- OUR FAMILY --- We are a multi-generational family of 3, plus 16 chickens, a border collie and an Aussie shepherd (Molly and Bosco, see picture), and a cat (Fiona, who will probably hide from you the whole time). I am Leigh Ann (pronounced “lee ann”) and I live with my husband George and my younger sister Nicole. Plus, my son Landon and my daughter Shelby come to visit often. We are all English-speaking Americans. I can speak a little Spanish and Shelby speaks fluent French.

Hi, I am looking for one or two helpers. I live aboard the yacht, so the accommodation is onboard. Accommodation comprises of a forward double cabin, with its own bathroom. Work is varied cleaning, polishing, sewing, etc. Some mechanical work, needing an extra pair of hands. I would expect guests to help me for 4-5 hours per day. Weekends off, I would hope. In return for meals and accommodation. I enjoy sailing, fishing, diving, and bush walking, and showing of the beauty of the Queensland coast. Weather providing. Luna is now back on the water and is based in Townsville. Still, plenty to work on going. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Tim

We are a dad & sometimes daughter (17! ;), living on a 60 acre mountain top with distant 360 degree views of both the Green & White Mountains.

My property is 10 hectares on the West Coast of the South Island, which starts at the coast with sand beach and sunsets and heads inland 1km through native wetlands and forest. Approximately 20km from Westport, 1km from Tauranga Bay! Public transport is limited? I'm a Certified Plumber and Drainlayer by trade but recently retired to work on property (next stage of life!) I have hosted many people through Couchsurfing over the years! Helpx is a new concept for me I purchased the property which is in need of a lot of work to tidy up, contouring/fencing/and planting trees etc. I'm now into planting out and setting up orchard also clearing introduced plants and replanting with natives. Current projects are building a new cottage for myself which is at the internal painting stage! and similar 2-bedroom cottage as a guest house which is at the internal lining and painting stage! both will be total off grid power and water supply. PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. We frequently have up to 10 people here in the summer and we work hard, eat well and have LOTS of fun. --- OUR HOUSE AND PROJECTS --- When we bought our house in 2012, it needed a LOT of work: repairs, remodeling, painting, carpentry, landscapin...
