Update, possible accommodation available for kiwifruit staff. My caravan is available, not fancy but clean & waterproof. I'm a beekeeper in need of assistance, either with the bees directly or not. I'm located 16km South of Te Puke on a property that has a back boundary of native forest. I'm usually able to host people at any time of year, but am busiest in the spring. I currently have building projects happening, as well as lots of painting, waxing new bee frames, and also hands on beekeeping for anyone who is keen. I also keep sheep and cattle on the property here, and hunt deer and pigs in the forest. These grass and forest fed animals form a large part of the menu here, so vegetarians probably won`t be happy with the diet. I cater to lots of herbivores and they all have hooves or paws. The accommodation is a spare room in the house. The house is a late 1800s villa in need of replacement, but it keeps the weather out and I find it comfortable. Housework isn't high on my priority ...

Stay with us by a beautiful lake, wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy the sunrise from our beach, disconnect from the noise, become more sustainable, feel the essence of nature and climb the volcano where we live. We are looking for self-sufficient and collaborative individuals to join our team of four volunteers dedicated to maintaining and guarding the property. We offer a straightforward exchange: your work in return for food. If you value independence, don't mind routine tasks, love being surrounded by nature and embrace a self-directed way of living, this could be the perfect fit for you! Hello! My name is Hugo and I live on the slopes of San Pedro volcano in Guatemala, in a wild and truly isolated area of Lake Atitlan, accessible only by water. There are no roads, no close neighbors and no noise. Just pure nature, the songs of birds and a stunning beach. I’m on a journey to build a home in this paradise. Most of the time, I share this space with volunteers, some chickens, a c...

18/07/25 - I'm looking for someone to start as soon as possible for a week or more. The main jobs at the moment are weeding, planting, log cutting & painting. The weather right now is amazing so a great time to be out in the garden! I live in a 5 bedroom house (a work in progress) with a large garden & lovely views. My son & daughter (age 24 & 23) also live locally & occasionally visit to help out. We need someone to help with the weeding, landscaping and other gardening when the weather is fine & do some housework and DIY when it's not (especially painting and cleaning). In return you'll have your own room, TV and WiFi and be well fed as we love cooking and baking! You will need to be fit & strong, like hard work & preferably know the difference between a weed & a (wanted) plant. A good dash of common sense will also go a long way. Must be a non smoker & I am afraid that I cannot host vegans. Either a single person or a couple is welcome. Helping hours would be around 4-5 h...

We hope we can provide you with a positive experience whilst you stay with us and help with our various projects. We generally have space for one person or a couple who can help with looking after our home and garden and help with clearing and cooking. .. What I am looking for at the moment is some help with completing the building of a cabin for my daughter. Whilst it doesn’t need professional carpentry skills it does require a general practical ability to help with things like putting in insulation and cladding the inside of the cabin, varnishing the woods etc.. We next have space from the 1st to the 10th of August 2025 with a possibility of a few more days. A bit about us: We are a family of 2 and a cat, with other adult children popping in from time to time. We are living in a beautiful part of Devon, at the edge of fields and stunning views but very close to Totnes, one of the most alternative towns in the UK. We are involved in holistic work with families, from pregnancy...

Hello - we are an animal-centric home on a small farmlet close to the township of Lithgow. We have a queen size bedroom available with own entry. We are walking distance to town. We have large dogs, so you will need to be confident around animals. We also breed miniature goats and have a garden and lots of chooks. Our property is located on an historic coal mine site and has many ruins to explore. We have resident native animals including kangaroos, bird life, wombats, possums and reptiles. We are looking for someone who is kind and curious about permaculture, gardening and animals. We are learning about regenerative practices and are trying to live gently. The property takes much of our time and there are always multiple projects on the go, with a view to sustainability and working with our environment. We are building food gardens, goat fencing including portable electric fences so we can have the goats graze on the weeds, we are also planning to restore our 1940’s train carriage in...

Love to host a strong guy or 2 that have some gardening/farming experience and/or has carpentry skills that's keen to help out around the property and also spend some boating trips, catching barramundi, crocodille spotting, trolling the islands and snorkeling...July/august/september is our main time to enjoy time on the water as its the Humpback whale and fish migration season so we would prefer folks that have an interest in boating/fishing and happy to tie their own fishing knots and set the anchor and dont get sea-sick.... Fish and home grown tropical vegetables form the basis of our diet during this tme of year so this adventure may not be for everyone..... Volunteers can use their time here to sign off for 7 days a week towards their 88 days 2nd or 3rd year visa sign off and we have helped many backpackers secure a second/third year visa as we are registered primary producers in the correct postcode for "disaster relief",. Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

Our home is myself and my daughter (18) , both working, one dog and one ferocious cat named Christmas Pudding, four chickens and a big garden so I am always happy to get some help. We have a good sense of humor and like to share our kiwi culture. The area is great for cycling, hiking, fishing and hunting. I will supply great food and company and a lot of local knowledge of the beautiful places to visit in our close proximity, in return for 5 hours of help per day. I prefer helpers who have a car but I can pick up in Murupara if necessary. There is a bus from Rotorua to Murupara 3 times a week. Our home is very peaceful in Galatea valley with outstanding views of the bordering mountain range, about 10 minutes drive from Murupara. We have WI-fi. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH and enjoy the same food as we do. I will only host for a maximum five days, could be shorter too depending on help needed at time. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you. Update.

LAST MINUTE HOST !!! Help me finish renovating a traditional farm house with a big garden and forest (two wells) and upcoming vegetable garden in Central Portugal! My name is Laura, I am 57 years (young) and from Germany. I have bought a beautiful old farmland of 12,000 m² (own forest) with two wells, a large stone house plus annex and two little ruins in the center of Portugal (near Ferreira do Zêzere) that is almost completely renovated. Even though I have (had) professional building companies there still quite some DIY things left to make it a cosy home. Having been a helper for one year of travel around the world a few years ago myself I now would appreciate some help with my own project (for details see below). I would describe myself as an experienced hosts having had more than 35 helpers/guests (different platform). :-) Enjoy the quiet and the nature! Enjoy a good flow of energy in the house, garden and own forest. You might get your hands (and clothes) dirty though... Plea...

My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities in their lives. I would like to welcome any fluent English speakers under the age of thirty to assist my teachers in the classroom. You would help immensely by having simple conversations with the students and providing them a real English speaking experience inside or outside the classroom. All the students are very welcoming and curious about my visitors, and I am certain that you will have a great experience while interacting with them. You can expect to answer all their questions, pose for pictures, and be invited...

The village Ahrbrück is in the middle of Germany nestled in the beautiful red wine region known as Ahrtal, a few train stations (*) away from Koeln and Bonn. The landscape here is very green and lush offering a variety of options for local tourism and recreation. I am a 55 years old traveller, who studied fruit farming, and keen on house building. I travel a lot in winter to other places in Europe mostly with caravan, I did couchsurfing and made in Portugal Wwoofing last years. It`s okay if you don`t speak German, I am also an English and Spanish speaker. Now I`m currently in the process of making a transition in my life. I have a nice but unfinished house in Kesseling for gathering for artistic, and nature-loving people. It is a work in progress which requires both time and effort, and I need help to make my dream come true! So, if there are any Helpers out there interested in my project, I look forward to welcoming you into my home. Longer staying helpers can do art. I have ve...

We have availability for a helper from around 25th August for 2 - 4 weeks but with less farming than at other times of the year. We are looking for a *female* native French speaker who is good with children. Tasks will include playing with our children while teaching them French, housework, helping to prepare our Airbnb accommodation and possibly, some farmwork. We'd consider hosting 2 helpers at this time. Then, from mid-end of September, we are looking for help for the same tasks but there'll be more opportunity for farmwork. For this preiod, our preference is for stays of at least 6 weeks and for one female helper. 🐑 🐎 We could also offer a stay to someone without farmwork, if that's preferred. 🐑 🐎 Helpers will work for 6 hours per day 5 days a week in return for food and accommodation. 🐑 🐎 🐎 🐑 Our farm is in the north-west of Ireland, in County Sligo. As well as horses and sheep, we have two alpacas, a pig, a dog, and some chickens! During the summer months, we provide ...

This beautiful, 2.5 hectare garden, set in the heart of Haute-Normandie Pays de Caux near the English Channel and whose light inspired the Impressionist movement, which can be loosely translated as an Arthouse garden. This is not a run of the mill HelpX destination. There is a real opportunity to learn and have a totally unique experience while staying in the 17th century Priory in the centre of the garden. Cécile, the gardening artist or artistic gardener (she conforms to both), welcomes you to join her in this artistic gardening adventure. Previous experience of gardening and some basic French are welcome but not essential as Cecile can get by in English, Spanish and German and will teach you all you need to know; the work, of course, changes with the seasons and can be a variety of brute force and delicate sensitivity but never forgetting that this is an artistic adventure and is open to the public. Help Xers are invited to food and accommodation in return for an average of 5/6 ho...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON *Got a garden that needs cleaning up at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one old farmer, one dog, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around.

Please make sure you let us know you are looking to get...

Plea...

Help me build an Eco timber post and beam Dance Pavilion in an irish forest 19 July 2024 Hello my name is Fionntáin, you are welcome to my forest :-) On a south facing slope, my 9.5 acre forest consists of 7200 deciduous trees which i planted in 2001…. a clearing in the middle allows for views to the beautiful mountains...... if you are looking for a peaceful secluded natural environment then this could be the place for you....... please be clear that this is a rustic off grid experience with basic facilities at present, for example outside dry toilet and shower...... temporary accommodation for visitors and volunteers consists of a 3 bed mobile home and a 2 berth caravan.

There is a mountain on my farm with lots of tracks to walk and a creek t...
