Summer openings for some of August Wow, exploring right outside our backdoor along side the Campbell River on Vancouver Island, is a beautiful place to experience Vancouver Island`s great outdoors this SUMMER with all the wild life right in our back yard :) Although we live on a one acre town lot, our back yard is situated on a cliff over looking an accessible beautiful heritage river, with a nature park setting of ferns, Douglas fir, maple and alder trees. You can often see deer, raccoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the river’s pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. Hi! I'm Tonje and I moved to my farm in 2020. And there's always a lot to do here. This small farm is in a very small town, by the fjord in Hardanger. Its a good place for hiking and culture. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. But I need help with maintenance of the outdoor area, wood working, chopping firewood and snow shoveling. I also have an airbnb, so cleaning, organize and tidying jobs are also tasks that I may need help with. Help are appreciated a lot. We are a nonprofit horse rehabilitation center that offers education on equine care. We need hands on to help with projects we are working on to complete as well as facility maintenance. Hello, we are a small organic wine and fruit farm in the South of Germany, run by a middle aged couple (Monika and Sven) since 2008. Our products are spirits from our fruit that are produced in our distillery (we were awarded "best distillery of the state"), wine and honey from our bees. Bonjour à tous ! Nous sommes éleveur de chevaux arabes, arabe-barbes et anglo-arabes et nous avons une trentaine de chevaux en moyenne, dont des retraités, des poulains, des adultes qui sont montés ainsi que des pensionnaires. Nos autres animaux sont 2 chiens, un malinois guide de chevaux, et une micro beagle réformée des laboratoires, et des poules qui vivent en liberté. Il est donc primordial d'aimer aussi les chiens, car les deux là sont très invasifs pour avoir des câlins... Notre discipline sportive est l'endurance, et il nous arrive encore parfois de faire des compétitions plus ou moins longues, de 20 à 120 km. Évidemment le cheval est notre passion, et nous aimons partager avec tous ceux qui ont la même passion que nous. Et sinon, je parle anglais mais vraiment pas super bien, et Marcel pas du tout. Hi guys The work is varied depending on the weather and we have lots of little project going on. Help is maybe four hours a day and own room and food we feed you well. At the moment we need some help with a few jobs around the place and mostly outside and pat could do with some help outside. There are lots of lovely walks on farm. I live in an old farm and farmhouse in Normandy. I have converted a cottage into a holiday cottage with 4 bedrooms (all en suite) and one barn into another. I also had a Yurt (now gone but the pictures are still there !!) and a campsite. With the guest-accommodation, farm and further buildings to be converted, I could always do with an extra pair of hands.
