We would like to host people over age 25 (non-smokers) who enjoy outdoor physical work. This is a private beach property which is part farm, part native forest. We are landscaping the property, creating tracks in the bush and planting more native trees. There are a wide variety of jobs, including building projects, farming, landscaping, gardening. We are 10 minutes drive from Takaka village, with beach access only for the last 500m. We will provide evening meals during your stay. We expect 4 hours work per day, usually mornings. Hello, and thank you for looking at our page/profile! We are looking for a helper (1 person) during the summer (2026) for a 2 week period, maybe longer. Starting in June and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn. Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All these tasks we do together. Further work includes simple window washing, exterior window and door painting. We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. Hello, I am looking for some help with gardening and house maintenance, preferably someone with a bit of gardening know-how to help control (in a wild way) a medium size garden Also help with dog walking and possibly pet sitting for short periods. Bit of strimming and mowing, and some weeding. Renovation of window frames and painting when weather allows. Trying to grow veg as much as possible, but not easy up here.(lots of rabbits and deer) Indoors --- well could do with a bit of organizing! Also some help with the bigger cleaning jobs, like the vast windows! I am living in the middle of Dartmoor National Park which is a great place for walking and scenery, and one of the last remaining wilderness areas in England. ENGLISH VERSION Here we live in an ancient school in the mountains of north Ardeche (1350m) ! My name is Etienne (35years old) and i live there since two years with Lena (27years old) who joined me two years ago and many people who join us throughout the year. Actually we are approximatly 7 to 10 people living here . it's a pretty remote place (closest supermarket is 30 min driving) but there is often people passing by (friends, neighbor, unkowns...). Most of the place is in a good state but there is still some work to do(paintings, coating, roof fixing, isolation...), so we would need a little help for the place to be able to welcome more people, and make our daily life better.
