It's a very environmentally friendly crop, requiring little energy and no pesticides. Spirulina needs sun and warmth to grow. You do not need any knowledge of horses but you do need to love dogs, they are a major part of the family and are constantly with us all 8 of them, dalmations, vizslas and 2 weimararners, and they do jump all over you. Constant appaloosas is a small holding where we breed and train horses for ourselves and occasionally others. Nous sommes Pierre-yves et Paul, deux hommes gay. Nous habitons dans le sud ouest de la France, dans le très joli département de la Dordogne. Nous sommes horticulteurs. Nous vivons avec nos deux chats dans notre vieille ferme construite il y a plus de 200 ans. C'est un endroit paisible de la campagne française, à proximité d'un tout petit village. 2 Small farms turned into the one near the West Coast of Clare. We keep lots of farm animals like cattle, horses, donkeys and sheep. We produce a wide range of vegetables for ourselves and some for selling. We have two children, went to primary Steiner/ Waldorf school; Frank (25) and Fina(21) and they love having volunteers around the place. Fina is doing equine studies and Frank studies horticulture and loves travelling. We are a family with two boys (12 and 14), living in the country-side between Auckland and Hamilton. We are a handy first or last stop as we are only 40 min from Auckland airport yet in beautiful, rural surroundings. We have chickens and a cat and 12 farm dogs at work. Within a short drive you will find stunning hikes of varying lengths - Mt William Walkway (10min away), Vivienne falls (15min away) and Hunua Ranges (30min away). We always welcome help with the house, garden and various jobs around the place. The activities vary depending on the season (harvest fruit and vegetables, AirBnb changeover, cut firewood, spring clean, gardening, painting, cut hedges, help at the local school and community events, etc). BANGALOW (NEAR BYRON BAY) We live on a farm near Bangalow which is about 15 minutes drive from Byron Bay in Northern NSW. We are looking for a couple / few friends to help with a variety of work on our property. The work varies and may involve painting, building, maintenance, working in the paddock, gardening, planting, fencing and general work around the house and farm. We have fully self contained, clean and comfortable accommodation in Bangalow. The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, living areas, kitchen, veranda, bathroom and laundry. Wi-fi is also available. You need to be motivated, capable, strong and able to work both independently and under instruction. If you don't have experience in some of this work, but are motivated to learn, it is easy to pick up and we are here to help and explain if needed.
