I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

We are a small organic olive farm, not yet in commercial production and animal refuge. We practice permaculture and the olives are part of a `forest garden` which also includes 200 cork oaks, carob and other trees and shrubs. We also have a vegetable garden and fruit trees . Our rescued animals include dogs, cats, a house pig, donkeys, a goat, ducks, rescue rabbits and worms!. Living in a Mediterranean climate we practice several different methods of water recycling and have a biological swimming pool. Help is required with all aspects of a compassionate, sustainable lifestyle. Meals are vegan, wine is served with the evening meal and we are non smoking. Current projects are forestry care, garden management - watering & weed/feed for animals, animal care, plus all the everyday tasks that are part of everyday communal sustainable living. The olive harvest is late October. Normally up to 4 helpers are here at a time, living as part of a family style community. We ask a minimum commitment...

Hello! Welcome to our Farm!! Our farm sits on a beautiful piece of land with a variety of very sweet animals, we know we are so lucky to have what we have and decided to share our treasures with everyone. Our goal is to make a difference to the earth we live on, the people we interact with and the animals we share this planet with. We have turned our farm into a petting zoo and Airbnb. We have a variety of tasks around the farm from daily animal care to building projects and everything in between, there will always be something that suits your talents! And if you think you have none (talents) don’t worry, we will dig them out if you! We want you to come to our farm as guests wanting to help with our cause of creating a place that helps people reconnect with animals and nature. Our belief is that one small act of kindness is one step closer to creating a happier planet :-) Shane:) We are looking for help with: - Daily chores which includes feeding and watering all the animals. -...

Transforming a summer house into a place for living organically. Now the winter of our discontent is ending, transformed into a glorious spring by this Galician sun; and ....sometimes, the clouds that darkened our home disappear into the deep heart of the flat lands.... So it's time to get to work in the garden and lay cement in some places. Some tasks (not all) can be somewhat boring such as cutting and stacking firewood, removing, digging, collecting vegetable remains,... I appreciate the dexterity in physical and manual works and you need to be fit and able to use your strength efficiently. Hi, I'm looking for creative minds efficient bodies who would like to get involved on an sustainable country house project, with some animals and plenty of work to do. There's a protected little forest surrounding the house with small wild animals, and 6 domestic geese, chickens, dogs and two cats. I need help with many things; work on the greenhouse which I have designed by myself, plant...

We are restoring an old traditional Béarnaise house located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the Ouzom valley. We want to share it with people who can help us with the garden as well as with the house to maintain or restore it. Assistance activities concern the maintenance or restoration of buildings (lime plaster, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, etc), maintenance of the garden (brush clearing) and its vegetable garden, whether it is windy or raining, depending on the projects in progress and the skills of each. Slug hunting to be planned every evening at nightfall. Once a week a complete cleaning of the premises will be carried out by all. We ask for 5 hours help a day, 5 days a week. We offer accommodation in a large 4-bed dormitory. Please, bring your work gloves and clothes , if you have any. Everyone must be autonomous and responsible enough to know how to clean and store the tools or things they have used, as well as to participate daily, outside helping time, in all the househo...

Hello, I'm looking for someone who can help me with a few craft-like and organization projects on my home, and with gardening. I'd also like someone to walk my little dog around the block, because my hip arthritis limits me. If you can sew or do light carpentry, that would be a plus. If you enjoy puttering on projects, I'd like to hear your ideas and am looking forward to working together. If you're an artist, I'd like help organizing my art room and the garage, which will function as a pottery studio. I have hosted helpers from around the world and the US and enjoy traditional dinners together. You'll have a private bath and bedroom with a desk, fast Google fiber wifi and TV. And of course, you also have access to the kitchen and rest of the house. If you have a part time, remote business, my home has enjoyable spots with tables to work undisturbed, like your bedroom or the screened porch, covered pergola or outdoor fire pit areas, or there are quite a few nice coffee shops within ...

Living in Kyoto, Japan, we are a warm and welcoming family of three who enjoy sharing daily life with people from different cultures. We are looking for a volunteer who would like to join our family. Our hope is for our 6-year-old son to learn English and explore the world through fun, natural conversations and play. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and can be like a big sister to him, caring for him with kindness and respect. He is very energetic and loves to talk. If you enjoy playing Minecraft or Mario Kart on the Nintendo Switch, you’ll quickly become good friends with him. We are looking for help with playing with our son and light household tasks. Although I haven’t used this platform since registering, I have hosted many volunteers through another platform. We are still in good contact with them and we maintain positive relationships. We sincerely hope this stay will be relaxing, enjoyable, and a meaningful cultural exchange for ever...

This will involve helping ot prepare the rooms for guests and helping with preparing meals and keeping the house tidy and guests cared for during the retreat. You will be treated as also being part of the retreat and be able to take part in the yoga classes and eat with the paying gu...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start in November 2026. We are looking for volunteers to teach English only and are available to stay at least eight weeks. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

We have a lovely small holding which is half broadleaved woodland, half pasture, with a stream running right by the house, 2 ponds, large veggie garden, orchard, greenhouse, sheep and a dog. (See photos below of a recent volunteer with one of our lambs and also help-xers cleaning out the pond!) We would like help with woodland management, gardening, preparation and maintenance of grazing land, weeding, planting, harvesting, general maintenance, perhaps light decorating, ironing when it's raining....and whatever crops up! There may occasionally be some work with our sheep and sometimes looking after our adorable dog! We expect some help around the house such as washing up after dinner and perhaps cooking the occasional meal. We offer accommodation in a refurbished 16th century cottage which is connected to the main house (see photo of room). This will mean help-xers have their own sleeping & bathroom area tho' occasionally we may have other guests staying. You will see from the...

A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

Hello, We are James and Isabel and we live in the tranquil, beautiful town of Monleras, in the province of Salamanca. We own a 6 hectare property just outside of town, called the "espacio natural de las grillas" where we practice permaculture techniques and host various activities and retreats involving yoga, meditation, personal growth, and silence. We have a large yurt, an outdoor kitchen, and an outhouse with running water and a hot-water shower, as well as a few other structures, and tents to stay in. There is also a room available in our house in town. There are always many projects to work on at the farm: construction with wood and stone, gardening, tree planting, pruning, and care, (and soon a henhouse!). There is a lake nearby for swimming and we have bicycles and a kayak available too. Isabel is a yoga instructor, and James works online in the afternoons. Besides yoga and meditation, we enjoy listening to and playing music, dancing, going on hikes, and just the peaceful...

We are a family of 3 and live in the northern suburbs of Darwin, in the beautiful Northern Territory. Since 2021 we are in the process of building our home and require some help to finish it off. We would love to welcome you here. :) The beach is a quick 20 min walk away, and close by are also public transport, the local market (Rapid Creek) and the popular mall. We really enjoy living here - not just the community is great, the location is so convenient too with the beach being so close. We love to take the push bikes down there whenever we can. If you want to explore the Territory, be in a tropical environment and have a bit of fun in creating a unique home, then this is a great opportunity for you while helping us onsite. The help includes several tasks and it definitely won't get boring. Anything from general labour/yard work over to tiling, timber work, gardening, painting and using of various tools. As long as you're enthusiastic and motivated, you're in. :) In exchange, we of...

Our farm is in the mountains of Lares, a rural region in the center of the Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico. A town well known for the rebellion insurgency called "El Grito de Lares", also well known for the coffee plantations and the culinary festivities. Lares has great rivers, beautiful sceneries and nice climate. In this great countryside we manage an agricultural, educational and community project, Proyecto Agroecológico Campesino/PAC. Our mission has been to produce food in a sustainable way, facilitate a practical learning farm for students and share knowledge with the community. For this we work in the transformation of two acres, in an integral farm where combines crop production, animal husbandry, resource management, restoration of soil and ecosystems, inspired by the agroecological principles. We invite you to join us on our every day activities to build a sustainable farm and to share knowledge and experiences. The accommodation includes a private room with kitchen, bat...

🌿 Come help on our farm! We need friendly volunteers to join us with cooking, cleaning, gardening, and everyday tasks — no experience needed, just a good attitude and willingness to muck in.We are looking for helpers between the ages of 18 to 32. We are a small community of friends working towards a better life in a beautiful part of rural Devon, in the Tamar River Valley Estuary where you will make friends for life. In exchange for your friendship while you are staying here we will endeavour to teach you new skills that will carry you through life. A small farm in a beautiful location! Our farm and home probably date back to pre 1660's, with many additions since. It has been left to go wild for the last 40 years. The river has otters, seals, beavers, salmon, sea trout, and sea bass. With buzzards and owls overhead. There are deer in the surrounding woodland. The aim for our farm is to give the land back to nature and at the same time create an organic food source that we can freely s...

We have a big garden with medicinals plants and vegetables. We are experimenting different ways to cultivate. We are always satisfied to learn various agricultural technicals. Hi, my name is Sylvia and I'm Dutch. After having lived for the majority of my life in cities I wanted to roam around with Helpx, so I did. However, I fell in love with the first place where I stayed, many years ago. A very small rural village in Bavaria, Germany, at the Czech border. I rented the huge house and intend to stay here, with my little dog, for the rest of my life. It’s a beautiful hilly area and the forests invite for long walks in which you may spot deer, lynxes, boars and other animals. Public transport ends in Weiden (train) or Lohma (bus), but I have a car, can pick you up and drop you off. Plenty to see within reasonable distance like Nuremberg, Regensburg, Munich, and Prague. Ski and snowboard centre at 7 km distance and lots of others a bit further away. In the holiday season, Christmas markets can be found everywhere. You will have your own room (with WIFI) and a shared bathroom, and you are welcome to the rest of the house too. I‘ll try to cook for you what you...

We are a couple who have bought a piece of land with a house in Mallorca, and we need a hand to help us to renovate the house and take care of the garden. Andrada is just coming at weekends, but I am working there full time. The big value we expect from the volunteers is the company, due to Andrada only staying here at weekends, during the week I am alone, and to share a time with people is a big help. Also, we are people that in the past travel a lot, and we miss the cultural exchange. For daily task here are some examples, help with construction tasks, such as making cement, painting, gardening or cleaning.

At our off- grid solar, wood and gravity powered homestead you can live very close to Nature and learn by helping, how to grow your own food in the big, fully caged vegie garden/ orchard and some of how to build a bush cabin (it could be a winning strategy in years to come). We are long term, committed advocates, for climate change action and we've lived with Sustainability and Creating a low "Carbon Footprint" in mind, for 40 yrs now, settling here, (inland of Taree / Port Macquarie) from scratch in 1980, on 680 acres of rocky ridge forest on the wild and steep NW edge of the Bulga Plateau, 500m above sea level (a very beautiful but challenging location)! Watch our YouTube video below, about our community and us, made by the very talented helpxer, Louie Ablett. Three of us live here now, myself 74, David 84 and Sue 64, who started as a WWOOFer and has moved here with the help of a voluntary activity agreement through Centrelink for over 55s'. Sue came in September 2019 , lost th...

I am a single parent with 2 grown adults and a young lady in university. I run a small party decorating business and have a small general home and hardware store. The wedding business is very interesting and demanding, hence why I'm looking for help at home. Due to other duties that needs to be done in the shop For now, we are looking for someone to help do some painting around the house and outside, keep garden clean and tidy, cut shrubs and hedges The kind of person i am looking for must be very neat and clean as well as very reliable and respectful. Someone who is not lazy and is very good at keeping their environment tidy and happy to do some cooking, cleaning, ironing and gardening. Personal hygiene is of utmost importance in our home and must be adhered to. If you want to experience venue décors for occasions (then you are free to come to venues with me, but not mandatory) i am very flexible with time as some days can be quiet, during this time, you can tour the local areas o...

Hello Helpxers, I generally host between 2 and 4 people to help me out on a beautiful farm I have just bought in South Wales. Start date as soon as possible. Help needed mainly on the farm, campsite and b&b. I also run yoga retreats here on the Farm. At the moment I am specifically looking for some one or a couple of people to be here to look after my dog and two cats and to tent to plants (mainly vegetables) while I will be away in Italy for a month from mid April to mid May - preferably starting early April so you can get to know the place a bit before I leave. I am also looking for some volunteers specifically for two yoga retreats I am running. One 9th - 16th March and one 31st March - 8th April.

The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in return for th...

We are a young french couple with a child Eleo (2,5years) who are living in the Hautes-Pyrénées, near Lannemezan. Fabien is mountain guide, and Charlene is farmer. We have a big garden with medicinals plants and vegetables. We are experimenting different ways to cultivate. We are always satisfied to learn various agricultural technicals. It is important for us to use all the resources that we have on the spot, plants, trees, compost, shearing, rather than to bring elements from outside. We sell our production with two market by week so it's lot of work! We have 15 cheeps, lots of chickens and 4 cats. And we have 15 dunkeys of Pyrénées in the place to eat grass and to work with Fabien for montain trecking. The activities are diverse: mainly of the gardening(weeding, ground work, seedling, plant and transplant), take care a few sheeps, sort out seeds and spices, make the picking of wild plants, prepare herb teas and prepare the market. Actualy we are building a cellar for storing veget...

We farm a small fold cattle. Also have cat, chickens. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Timaru is a great base to explore around the south island from. SPECTACULAR views of the Southerm Alps and Mt Cook from this Location, in a tranquil setting off the beaten track 10 min west of Timaru, conveniently positioned midway between the cities of Christchurch and Dunedin.
