We hope you can join us. Currently looking for keen and energetic people who can join us in making our piece of Paradise even better while you have a memorable lifetime experience that will enrich your life. We love sharing who we are and what we have to inspire others to thrive on the land while working with and amongst nature. We want to show you how to be comfortable in nature; to re-learn how to be a part of nature rather than apart from nature. We have two rooms exclusively for HelpX guests; one room with a double bed, the other with a bunk bed. You have your own bathroom and toilet. We also have our delightful Avan; a compact caravan that has a double bed and a single bed for those who want to live more out amongst nature. We have a range of projects on offer, depending upon our needs at the time and your enthusiasm, skill set, interests and desire to learn new things. Some of the options include building our bushfire resilience and working on maintaining and invigorating ou...

Namaste! My name is Dipendra, I’m a 28 year old Nepali man with a passion for nature, culture, and sharing the beauty of my country. I’ve been working in trekking and guiding for many years, and now I invite you to be part of our simple, peaceful life in the countryside of Nepal. As a volunteer, you’ll stay in my family home with me, my wife, our young son, and my parents. You’ll become part of our daily life—helping with small tasks like gardening, cooking, taking care of animals, or even teaching basic English to my little boy. No special skills are needed, just a good heart and willingness to connect. In addition to the homestay experience, I also love to take guests on short treks and nature walks in the beautiful hills and forests near our village. I’ll guide you to hidden spots that only locals know, and share stories about the land and culture along the way. This is a chance to truly experience Nepali life from the inside—sharing meals, traditions, laughter, and local knowled...

Good morning;. Big storm this morning; I love the rain thunder and lightening. I write a review for each helper after they have been here helping me. I know many helpers and hosts do not do that but I do. Like host and helper information that is often very uninformative, I feel it is important to have an opinion and I hope for one in return. I went on the Wagon Train in Montana like I have since 1983. We had a bad wreck, I got hurt. Please come help me. I will need help September onwards and over the winter please. If you can come anytime in that time period it sure would be appreciated. The helper who had been here just over 3 years [yes years],moved . He works in town full time, stayed here for free and helped with chores. I have had 4 really great helpers already this year and 1 vanishing act. Too funny. Not as much to do as most years. Painting will get done this year. That is outside on the little buildings. 2 barn doors need repairs. Please respond when I send an invitation. I...

Hello everybody!! Thank you so much for your precious help on the past seasons! WE ARE COUNTING ON YOU FOR THE GREAT SEASON 2026!! The hostel is a family business, a factory of friendship, as we usually call it, and has a very relaxed atmosphere, located in a fantastic spot with excellent beaches. It`s a small hostel with 11 rooms and a maximum capacity for 30 people. We prefer helpers that can stay for one month or more, the minimal stay is for 4 weeks. We are searching for happy and friendly people with willingness to work and to enjoy the place and the moment. We offer the stay, in a shared room just for Volunteers, with bathroom, and we offer the breakfast (portuguese tradicional breakfast) in exchange of 3/4 h of DAILY (EVERY DAY) work (usually in the morning, except when waiting for new guests, something that we manage here all together, but its a rare thing to happen because usually its us who welcome the guests), having all the day left off, just for yourself, 7 days a w...

Great Mackerel Beach is a magical place in Sydney. A small and peaceful community with lots of wildlife; expect to see wallabies and plenty of local birds. If you have seen the television series 'Home and Away' then you will recognise 'Summer Bay' across the water. A safe beach is only metres from the door. The view from the house is stunning as we look across to Barrenjoey Lighthouse and Palm Beach. We would prefer 2 helpers or a couple that can stay for at least a week mainly doing gardening, but some domestic cleaning and general maintenance. Experience working in bush regeneration, stone work or landscaping would be fabulous. We would like the equivalent of 5 hours/day 5 days/week but are flexible with when you work as long as the times are mutually agreed in advance. Most of the work is outdoors on or near the beach where we are replanting the sand dune to reduce erosion from storms. We have already planted over 700 small native plants. As well there is landscapy and gardening on...

Hi, My name's Rachael and I live in the Sierra Nevada mountains in the Alpuharra region of Andalucia. I am currently renovating my old village house, which has a small parcel of land and I need someone to help with building small walls and paths on the land, and general building, so will need some wall building experience! I live in a small village an hour from Granada and 45 minutes from the coast.. The village is on the GR7 camino, which runs from Gibralter to Athens across the mountains of Spain, and is ideally based for hiking. There are daily buses to larger towns, including Granada, and the nearest town is 20 minutes walk, or 5 minutes by car, and has a bank, bars and shops. I am looking for someone to come for a couple of weeks any time from November through to late February and have a spare double room.

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. About Us I'm Hiro, and I live with three roommates in Toshima Ward, Tokyo. My roommates are Japanese and Nepali, including a queer woman. They are an "aspiring" voice actor, student, and sole proprietor. Room sharing and coming out of the closet are uncommon in Japan. I'm an IT engineer but not a programmer: an infrastructure engineer. Art Project A few years ago, my friend painted a black and white mural in my house. I'm updating it by inviting volunteer artists from around the world. They added color to the mural and also added a lot of paintings. We don’t have any art skills and don’t participate or suggest designs. The Neighborhood Two stations from Ikebukuro and ~30 minutes from Shinjuku and Shibuya. Quiet residential area with some restaurants and shops. The house is old, poorly ventilated, and in a natural setting. Not suitable for people with asthma or allergies to dust or animals. Cultural exchange and learning opportunities We have different lifestyles and are very busy mo...

Update: we have availability for a helper who enjoys working outdoors for a couple of weeks late September (after 27th) into early October. Work would include tidying up in the garden, autumn jobs like adding new compost to the vegetable beds, splitting logs, etc. There may be a small amount of hospitality work during that time, but mostly it would be outdoor tasks, regardless of the weather. After that our next availability is likely to be mid March 2027. My husband and I live in a beautiful, listed, 100 year old house in a lovely part of Scotland. We are surrounded by rural countryside, but well located for exploring much of Scotland and are walking distance from the small rural town (more like a village) of Alyth which has a few shops, cafes and a good bus service. There are lovely walks from the house as well as further afield and we can sometimes lend a bike to use for exploring (but it is quite hilly round here for cycling). Both Dundee and Perth are easy to reach on the bus...

Hola todas! My place is an old grain mill with half a hectare of land. I live here for more than 17 years and hosted many volunteers. Work is mostly in the garden. Weeding, digging, planting, watering, harvesting and off course eating. There is a big cat family living on the land. Help in the kitchen is welcome. Special dietary requirements must be met by the helpers. In the area there are many activities possible. More yoga teachers than there are yoga students. Meditations, dancing, healing, massage, channeling, singing,....! Many communities of all sorts (hippy, midwives, subud, soefie). Hiking in all directions. Even skiing starting beginning of December. I try to keep a healthy environment, so no drugs that cloud your spirit. No dogs either. People mostly stay between one and two weeks. Work is about 5 days a week, 4 hours a day. Food and lodging included. Flexible. Work depends on peoples abilities. Any questions? Always happy to explain! Ruud

We are available to host again. It is a busy time of the year here on our cattle station. Veggies are being planted, citrus fruits to pick. Pruning, feeding and mulching. Dogs need to played with and perfect weather for an evening around the fire pit. We are a working cattle farm/station located on the edge of the Australian Outback within an easy 2.5hour drive from Townsville and the Great Barrier Reef. We are located about 40minutes from the major cattle hub and historical town of Charters Towers I love to cook and grow our own food. One of my hobbies is preserving food and baking which has resulted in me starting a Small business called Darlene’s Country Kitchen. I sell my products and produce in our local town, Charters Towers. We also attend a regular Market on the 4 Sunday of every month. Helpers will be expected to feed and water chickens, ducks and geese, collect eggs, help outside in the garden and help indoors. Beef cattle and sheep farming and cropping. Help required with general farm duties in exchange for meals and accommodation. We enjoy a relaxed lifestyle sharing time with friends of similar interests in a great part of the country. Unfortunately, due to the fact that we live in a rural area sometimes phone and internet service is not great. Helpers need to realize that. If you want city phone service 24/7 stay in the city! My last 2 helpers have been complete time wasters, due to their dependence on a phone, which is unfortunate because all the others have been fantastic., so yeah, take this onboard and appreciate our wonderful country. :-)

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start mid-November and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in return for their generous servic...

🐶 Currently looking for 🍁 AUTUMN&WINTER volunteers. Minimum stay: 2 weeks. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars and 80+ reviews on Worldpackers 🏡 We welcome volunteers in our countryside home in Sicily where they can be part of a community of travellers and make a difference in the lives of the dogs in our care - by helping to clean their enclosures, give them food and water, take them on walks, and provide as much individualized attention as possible. Our NGO, with the help of a passionate community of volunteers, strives to cure and find loving homes for the many strays in our area. 🐕‍🦺 Activities: We ask for help in taking care of the dogs in our shelter - clean their enclosures, give them food and water, take them on walks, and play and cuddle with them. We might also need help with general maintenance on the property and enclosures at times and with general housekeeping activities. The occasional general maintenance would include tasks such as mending fences and maintaining dog enclosures. ...

I live in the little picturesque hamlet of Stanley which is just a 10 minute drive from Historic Beechworth. North East Victoria. It’s approx 3.5 hours drive north east of Melbourne. I need helpxers to provide assistance with lifting heavy items to remove clutter and take to the tip, also some cleaning, gardening, wood chopping and plastering. I am open to taking a couple and there is a self-contained cabin with a double loft bed and ensuite. Although I’ve listed ‘accommodation only’, I will cook and provide some meals when I can. I would like to practice my beginner Italian language skills. I love being a HelpX host! It is so much fun to meet people from other places and other cultures. I have met some of the most wonderful people, some who are now life-long friends. Previously I lived in North Sydney, I then moved to Manly Beach. And now I’ve bought a house in the Victorian High Country.

We.previously lived in Boreen Point on the Sunshine Coast where we hosted many helpers through helpx with amazing reviews over a period of 17years.. Most never wanted to leave. We have now moved and bought an equally stunning property in Far North Queensland in a small country town (Cardwell) on 3 acres 10 minutes from beach. We are located between Cairns and Townsville and just south of Mission Beach. Terry and I are not as young as we used to be and are struggling with maintaining the property. We need help for 4hours a day, with weeding, mulching, pruning and watering the gardens and general house cleaning. We back onto tropical rainforest and creek. Help around the inside of property would also be helpful. You will have your own bedroom and own bathroom (1 queen for couples and 2 queens for singles). The fridge will be stocked for you to prepare your own breakfast and lunch and we all sit together for evening meals which I will prepare. There are many stunning waterfalls and walk...

We are a busy family household with 3 teenagers (17/2x15), nestled into the slopes of Kunanyi/Mt Wellington. We have a rambling old house with a large bush garden on three acres of bush. We back onto Wellington Park, with immediate access to bush walks, mountain biking, and nature. Our house is a fifteen-minute drive from the centre of Hobart and other service areas such as Sandy Bay or Kingston. Buses are available. Check the Metrotas website for timetables. Half our household is vegetarian (but not vegan, although vegan is fine). The others eat meat (flexibly). Food is multinational, and guests who like to cook are welcome. We have two crazy (but friendly) dogs, so guests who know not to leave doors open are appreciated. The room available is a comfortable downstairs room with its own outside access. All other facilities need to be shared. Our expectation is for 2–3 hours of light work in return for accommodation and board. Duties could include gardening, wood stacking, carpentry, ...

Hello! We’re Clara and Fabien. After having some amazing experiences abroad as HelpX helpers ourselves, we thought it was time to become hosts and welcome travellers into our home. We live in a small mountain village in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees. If you enjoy nature and being outdoors, you’ll probably love it here. In winter, there are ski resorts nearby, snowshoeing, beautiful walks, and plenty of hiking trails starting right from the village. We can host one person or a couple. We’re not looking for perfect helpers—just people who are easygoing, respectful, curious, and happy to share a bit of their daily life with us. During the winter season, we’ll need some help with our Nordic hot tubs. The work is pretty straightforward: getting the tubs ready for guests, carrying and stacking wood, keeping the area tidy, and helping with a few everyday tasks. We’ll explain everything, so no experience is needed. In exchange, we’ll share meals, spend time together, and happily show y...

Gardening, forestry We live in a small cottage on a friendly lake about 3 hours north of Toronto. We have the usual cottage toys available, canoe, small sailboat, row boat. Looking for help with selective cutting trees for firewood and lumber which we cut on our own small mill. Hopefully someone that is a better gardener than we are as we would like to start growing our own produce and maybe even get some chickens. Help with some construction and painting projects. We have some old machinery we are always trying to keep running. We are offering free accommodation and meals in exchange for help. This is a no smoking environment.

**MUST HAVE MINIMUM ADVANCE OF TWO WEEKS** (on fixed schedule, next date: Monday 24th February 2026 & so on)! Please message me if interested, initially for 1 or 2 weeks (2 weeks preferred, could possibly be for more than 2 weeks+), but whatever period suits... it does need organising in ADVANCE (14 days in ADVANCE, this allows time for catering & arrangements, as I am in a rural location, only shop for groceries every TWO weeks - also allows time to adjust any projects). It is easier if you have your own vehicle for sleeping, but this is not necessary. If you contact hosts, kindly deal with the response straight away, unlike some currently mucking multiple hosts around, and not responding for over 12 hours!! Please, learn to be kind and courteous!! I am a Professional Artist/Educator (Photographic Medium), Academically Published & Globally Exhibited, also Gay. I am not vegetarian. Fully vaccinated & boostered, you will be too (if necessary). I live in small scenic rural settlement ...

*** Visitors stay a *'minimum of 1 week', which can be extended, to 2-4 weeks, if everyone is happy :) *** * Critical thinkers and creative individuals are 'particularly welcome' here. We take immense pleasure in working alongside 'Open Minds', who hold contemporary planetary and social concerns, and seek to rise their consciousness as 'individuals'. Individuals who have independently studied, subjects such as Transhumanism, Mass formation, and the Psychology of Totalitarianism, would benefit most from their experience here. Side by side, with daily physical tasks, this would ensure clear thinking individuals', full appreciation of our practice, and would bring more meaning, peace and happiness into their lives. At this moment (Sept 2026), there's an emphasis on Harvesting and pressing Apples :) , digging up Potatoes / Harvesting Pumpkins & Hops , woodland clearance work. We hope you can join us. Currently looking for keen and energetic people who can join us in making our piece of Paradise even better while you have a memorable lifetime experience that will enrich your life. We love sharing who we are and what we have to inspire others to thrive on the land while working with and amongst nature. We also have our delightful Avan; a compact caravan that has a double bed and a single bed for those who want to live more out amongst nature.

****Due to my current volunteer needing to return home due to a medical issue i am currently looking for help on the farm straight away****** Also looking for a Solo traveller to help in the farm shop from the 9th November to around the 18th or so December I have a small petting farm, B&B and farm shop in the Highlands of Scotland - John O'Groats a bucket list destination for many. I bought the farm in Sept 2016 as a running business, there is lots to do to try to get it where i would like to be long term. There are 2 positions available - one is for a solo traveller. working in the farm shop and helping get the B&B ready for guests. The work doesn't involve the animals on the farm directly but you are of course welcome to spend as much time with them as you like, they love people and are very friendly. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes.

However, there are still many other tasks, to keep things interesting for the visitor, including Duck Duty. ...
