This programme was created in 2010 by a small group of English teachers who have been working for several years alongside Native Speakers. The reason that we created this programme is to help the local students and give them the opportunity to learn English with English speaking-people. Cianjur is a non-touristy place with few travellers, so meeting english-speaking people is particularly valued here. In 2013, our programme was recommended by The Lonely Planet Guide Book. The programme was founded by five locals; the team are enthusiastic and passionate about improving the local student’s English. Welcome to Dunedin, New Zealand! We have two double rooms available in our family home. We are a 15 hectare lifestyle block, with about 10 sheep, chickens, ducks, pet dog, and two cats.We both work full time in education. We have a lot of native bush on our land and planted forest blocks. Some small paddock areas. There are a lot of jobs we need help with! Clearing scrub, weeding, pruning etc. There is plenty to do inside if it's a rainy day! Accomodation is a nice light double room and all other facilities are shared. Would like to learn and look after a vineyard and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature couples as applicants are now open. We have llama and alpaca and a large garden. Most work will be outside or helping with stuff that just needs to be done like cleaning cars', feeding alpaca and llama,cleaning stables and water tanks, gardening, mulching and wood splitting ( dont worry we have a machine ) etc. Lots of light weeding.
