Tiny homes and Qi Gong a focus, beach and eco-sanctuary nearby. Vege gardens under development, big job with one person doing most of it, people interested in building, landscaping, gardening, maintenance, healing work, yoga etc would be very handy. Also building mobile homes on site and doing a lot of tree planting and maintenance Looking for people to help with building projects - perhaps to build their own tiny home while helping me on mine?

I am a creative person living in Mumbai (Bombay) , India, I grew up in rural and urban natural lives. Making me experience working on farms, cities and learn some things on different levels of cultures, society differences, Indian deeper roots, religious, spiritual and positivity through life. So looking at life in its best or worst way, with in its various colourful shades. 👉🏼 For References - ask for my other volunteer site profile. 👉🏼 My passion is film making but still I am trying to develop my spiritual understanding. Sametime in support of growing world awareness of organic life or climate changes comes as a beginning of a new era. And proud to be part of it as its time to deconstruct what we constructed just in few decades. Mumbai city is the only city in the world where the Country lives in a city i.e you will find everyone from the different parts of India living in the city of Mumbai. The city also supports some ancient spiritual caves and temples. It is active in mov...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Note: I’ll likely be busier than usual with my own focus projects, work and study, so you’ll need to be comfortable with a bit of independence, as I might not always be home at mealtimes and it is likely you will see less of me than usual. I’m happy to host individuals, couples, or small groups of friends/families—just let me know what works for you! I love Wellington, especially the south coast with its nature and beaches. There’s a local walking track nearby, and just 2km downhill you’ll find popular surf beaches, a marine reserve (perfect for swimming/snorkeling), and beautiful views for walking, running, or cycling. In the other direction it’s about the same distance to local bars and shops, and around 5km to Courtenay Place, Cuba Street, or to the airport. For those without transport, there are two bus stops close by (23, 29), or you can walk to Newtown, Island Bay, or Lyall Bay. I’m always happy to share tips for exploring Wellington—or, if you have your own transport, help yo...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in ...

Hi, it's Stephen and Philamae. We have a beautiful rural property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely after its 4 year renovation build has just completed, and we are running it as holiday accommodation as we move towards turning it into a funky retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer and wedge-tailed eagle. This link has a lot more photos of our place: https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/1404048948970319721 The next specific needs are: a) start of June onwards. Mostly cleaning and bedrooms reset, some gardening. Minimum stay 4 weeks, but we prefer longer stays! If you want to come the second half of May that's fine - we're very flexible. (we have a series of 7 wellness retreats running 5 June to end August: see www.sherwoodloves.com.au/retreats-overvi...

Hi My name is Paul. I am 59 years old and live on my own in a 4 bedroom house I built on my own 20 years ago. The house is on a half-acre property located in a small village community on the outskirts of Brisbane, close to large areas of forest. For more than 10 years I have been hosting couch surfers and decided to try helpx as it seems many people are interested in helping in exchange for staying longer. My place is not a farm, however I have a forested backyard. The land is steep with a lot of weeds growing. I have been undertaking bush regeneration, knocking back the weeds and planting trees. The bush attracts a variety of wildlife, including wallabies, echidna, bandicoots, scrub turkeys and a lot of different bird species. Help required may include, building paths, planting trees, watering trees and controlling weeds, depending on what guests are capable of and what they prefer to do. I think 3 or 4 hours work a day is enough.for people staying. My place is quiet and relaxed....

I am looking for two or three helpers for 7-10 days in May. Warm greetings from rural Byron Shire. I have hosted helpers regularly to help me to clear and tidy my sloping one hectare garden, which continues growing vigorously, and with other necessary maintenance tasks around my home. I would welcome a couple or two or three friends to work with me for a week or more in May. No particular experience is necessary, but any practical skills might be useful, and reasonable fitness is needed. I’m happy to share my own skills with willing helpers and will be working with you. Three to four hours of work per day in return for plentiful food and drink, and your own comfortable accommodation in my guest bedroom(s). I live in the Byron Bay hinterland, with my dog Rosie, in quiet country with ocean views and sightings of numerous wildlife. I come from England but have settled in Australia for the past 18 years, after travelling extensively around the world for both work and pleasure over man...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...

We started our Vineyard back in 2004,it is located in a Beautiful,Quiet,Valley along the bluffs of the Mississippi River. We have five children that have now grown and moved out on there own. I just retired from a career of Process Instrument Work at the local power plant. I could use some help with the Vineyard and Gardens, but also enjoy fishing and boating on the river in the evenings and of course days off. We would be willing to supply your own bedroom, great meals and WiFi. We also have two Female Collies that love to get brushed and played with. The ideal person would have to be able to work on there own or in a small group, after some training of course to get you up to your comfort level, so as you basically understand what the goals might be for the time of year and tasks at hand, a five hour day,if the weather permits, is what we usually work . There might be a few longer days, but I`m sure that having time off to check out the area won`t be any problem. If you would care t...

My friend bought this beautiful old farm in Bjarnarfjordur witch is in the west fjords of Iceland And the westfjords were selected as top destination in the world by Lonely Planet for 2022 No one has lived there for the last 20 years so there’s plenty of things to do Mainly it’s taking care of the eiderducks (put up flags and scarecrows to keep the artic fox and seagulls away from the area) The eider nests on small islands close to the farm so we will need to take a boat or a kayak and row to the islands After the nesting season we pick up the down that they left in the nest And another thing is feeding the rainbow trout that we will be farming in tanks on land Also we have to paint and fix the old house We have our own geothermal hole that produces lots of hot water Even though it’s seems remote it’s only 35km to the next town Hòlmavík where there’s a supermarket, bank and basically everything you need From June to October we are doing whale watching trips from Hólmavík and mo...

Hi! We are Jalfred and Angelune (and Mimouna, the wild cat), and we run a 1.3 hectares off-grid property and venue where we grow our own vegetables, as well as berry bushes and medicinal plants. Regular projects on the farm include general maintenance like garden bed preparation, planting, transplanting, weeding, pruning, harvesting and processing, as well as special projects like outdoor renovations, fencing, compost making, sod removal, terracing, etc. We live seasonally, and the Yukon seasons are dramatically different than elsewhere in Canada. In May and June, we have school group visits, we start planting the garden and we also start going to Thursday markets in Whitehorse where we sell herbal products. July is a month of general maintenance in the garden and around the property, during which we typically don't host helpers. August, September and October are busy with harvests and processing of vegetables and herbs, and closing the garden for the winter. We typically don't host...

We enjoy meeting and working with helpers from different countries and we try to make your stay work for both of us. Although we are not vegetarians or other specialty diets we have no problem hosting one. One family member is gluten free. Seasonally we need assistance with with fencing, firewood cutting, the garden, harrowing, feeding livestock, building and building maintenance and general farm labour. No experience necessary but must have a willing attitude and be comfortable around animals. Someone with Carpentry skills is always helpful. We are located on a small farm 4 km north of Lumby and 30 minutes east of Vernon BC, with sheep, laying chickens, hay and sometimes meat birds. We also have some older horses and a large organic garden. One of us is a carpenter and the other a semi retired biologist. We have lots of birds and generally very few biting flies or mosquitoes . We are also a hummingbird banding station every 2 weeks from late April until the beginning of August. ...

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

Ciao tutti, We have a villa from the 1960s designed by a well-known Italian architect. It hadn't been lived in for many years and is now up and running as a rental. At the moment, we're looking for someone that can help us from between July and August for about 2 weeks. Our villa is located in a small charming town near Lake Como. Our property has lake and mountain views on one side, and forest views on another. There are 3 floors, all of which have views of the lake, including the bottom floor which is a two bedroom apartment where the manager and helpxers live. The skills that we are looking for is someone who enjoys gardening, someone who knows how to clean whenever necessary or someone who can fix things that break. Most importantly, we appreciate someone that has a positive attitude, is hardworking and is willing to help whenever its needed! The manager of the villa is Luiggi, a Colombian/American 29yo who has been working with us for many years now. You'll share the 2 bed...

If you would like a homely, wondrous Blue Mountains experience, nestled in nature, without being surrounded by tourists, you’re welcome to stay with us. You will relax and unwind here, sit in front of the fire in the evenings, drink tea, go on bushwalks, watch the alpacas, and share stories. Then wake to amazing sunrises! Especially quiet for those that have just come from a Vipassana meditation retreat. If you're a rock climber, you can walk to crags at Shipley and Centennial Glen. We have two alpacas, some chickens, and two indoor cats. We live in a new house on a two acres, next to the Blue Mountains National Park. Amazing bushwalks begin at our home. Walk to Govetts Leap waterfall, Evans Lookout, the Grand Canyon, and Blue Gum Forest. We need ENERGETIC help in the yard, mainly splitting firewood. There are lots of small jobs, all requiring good strong MUSCLES. We also need help with BUSH REGENERATION because there are weeds that have invaded the rare and endangered hanging s...

Kia ora! Seeking help all through the year. The home is a large Oamaru stone villa where my 20yr old son and our tabby cat live with me. Our work does take us away from home from time to time and we need help to maintain the existing gardens, and to redevelop some areas. I am redeveloping an area to become a vegetable garden and would love help with this. We have around 2 acres of garden - mainly flowers, hedges and mature trees with a pond which plays host to gold fish and attracts numerous dragonflies. The gardens are very tranquil. We host small events occasionally and sometimes run garden tours. Ideally, you'll have a bit of garden knowledge, but most importantly you'll be fit, have initiative and a willingness to muck in and help outdoors. The majority of work will be weeding, pruning, trimming. I expect 4 hours of productive work each day in exchange for accommodation, breakfast provisions for you to help yourself to, lunch and dinner. The accommodation is a bedroom in a s...

MEQUINENZA SPAIN PERIOD : Now until 15th November. I am a single mom who, after her dad's death, has been given the supervision of a large country house located between the fruit plantations in Mequinenza, Spain. The house is supplied with electricity via solar panels and a generator, and water is pumped from the ebro and stored in 2 water tanks of 2000 liters. Potable water is collected in buses at a water pump in the village. To give the house and grounds back to their former glory, I could use help in return for this, I provide full board accommodation. Anyone who loves adventure, peace, and nature and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves is very welcome to me. Sufficient relaxation is also included so that the bow does not have to be constantly tensioned. The house has 5 bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom garage is equipped with a double bed and 2 bunk beds and has a sink and toilet. Downstairs there is a bedroom with two single beds and with a washbasin and toilet and douche, ther...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure.

In the summer I travel around Victoria and Australia a lot, going on road trips with friends and many music festivals -camping in the bush etc.. I am into music (composing/playing); Alternative health / medicine ; Electronics / Engineering / technology ; Anything weird wacky unusual unexplained strange secret, and business combining most of the above, ;) ..
