I live in an old farm and farmhouse in Normandy. I have converted a cottage into a holiday cottage with 4 bedrooms (all en suite) and one barn into another. I also had a Yurt (now gone but the pictures are still there !!) and a campsite. With the guest-accommodation, farm and further buildings to be converted, I could always do with an extra pair of hands. Skills can range from building, painting, cleaning, farming and general maintenance. Someone with a sense of humour would be great. I enjoy music so you may find all sorts playing, from classical to Genesis, Roxy Music to London Grammar! Current projects (weather dependent) include: 1. tidying toolshed 2. move garden shed I offer accommodation and meals included in return for help normally 5 days a week. After a week I'm happy to give a day tour of the battlefields ... Phone number (what's app) available on request. Easy to find and get to .. .By train leave Paris at the Gare de St Lazare for Cherbourg. Get off at Lison st...

My name is Paul. About 17 years ago I had this slightly crazy dream of changing my life from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer in the Swedish countryside. Somehow, 17 years later, here we are :) Norrängens is our 100-acre farm just outside Sala, about an hour from Stockholm. We have around 70 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, rabbits, a turkey, my cat Sexy, the kids’ cat Vernon and Malta, our farm dog. I have three children, Liam (22), Dylan (13) and Oscar (10). Liam has grown up and moved away from home. Dylan and Oscar live between me and their mum, although sometimes they seem to spend more time here :) When they’re here they’re part of farm life and help out when they can. This is our home and our little family as well as being a farm. Things are quite different here from a few years ago. We used to run a much bigger and busier tourism operation. These days things are smaller and quieter. The economy has been a bit of a struggle, if I’m honest, and this y...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

Welcome! Our family owned and operated certified organic livestock farm in North Central British Columbia is excited to have you stay and become a part of everything we have going on. We’ve been operating since 2008, primarily raising Berkshire pigs, Dexter cattle, Katahdin sheep, laying hens, broiler chickens and of course bronze breasted turkeys for thanksgiving and Christmas. On top of that, we’re home to two Labrador retrievers (Ned and Nelly), 3 outdoor cats, 2 guard alpacas and a family of Muscovy ducks. In other words, you will never find yourself not in the company of animals! Aside from livestock, we have recently built a small farm store / café that cooks the meat raised on the farm. We also take pride in creating all recipes from scratch, from the sauces to the buns of the burgers. Currently only operating during the summer months, 3 days per week. It’s been a lot of work, but a great way to get more people out to the farm, eating good food and connecting with the community...

Join a heartfelt conservation project on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. Help protect sea turtles through night patrols and hatchling releases, monitor birds as bioindicators of ecosystem health, and care for the land through permaculture, compost and natural fertilizers. Take part in coastal monitoring, beach clean-ups and plastic awareness while learning, connecting with nature and creating real impact. The activities are based on the four pillars of the project: Sea Turtle Conservation: The sea turtle season begins in July and ends in December. From January to June, the frequency of turtles on the beach is reduced to one or two per month, so only one daytime patrol is conducted three times a week to relocate eggs on the beach if a turtle hatches. During these months, activities such as informational signage and beach sectoring are carried out. From July to December, night patrols begin. From September to December, the hatching of baby turtles begins, along with nest exhumation activitie...

Animal Rescue and Sanctuary and Organic Vegan Farm in Central Costa Rica Hello everyone! What we do: We take care of animals, we grow organic food, we prepare and eat tasty vegan meals, we minimize our impact on the earth, and we enjoy the company of our Costa Rican friends and neighbors. We have run a volunteer program for over 18 years, and have had several hundred people come to work with us! Our farm is primarily an animal rescue, rehab and sanctuary. Our doors are open to animals in need. We currently have five rescue dogs, five goats, a pig, a horse, one cat, and two water buffalos. Some came off the streets, some were abandoned, others were injured and no longer wanted. We adopt out what we can, but most are retired and happy to live their lives on the farm. The 3.5 hectare property is covered with many tropical fruit trees, including water apple, mandarin orange, banana (many varieties), guayaba, guanabana, cas, caimito, lime, nance, coffee and araza. Depending on the se...

Permaculture project with idea and space to create an eco-village. The quinta is located in Alto Alentejo 2km from Portalegre. 15 hectares with magical forests and a beautiful valley provided by seventeen sources and several mines with healthy water where too people live permanently for the moment,Isabel, a communication manager and Michel, a carpenter who is the founder of the project. There is also one dog, five cats, for chickens and six sheep. The project is now in the phase when it’s open so that more people can live here. Because parts of the ruins are ready for occupancy, there is space for people who want to stay longer, which can bring new and stronger dynamics throughout the year, not like before, when there was only a lot going on in the summer months. So far there is already a beautiful gardens going on and numerous species of plants, shrubs and trees which deliver us plenty of food. We are learning and exchanging ideas about Permaculture and self sustainability. Our farm is situated in a Natural Reserve area called Bananal, located 18km away from the beaches of Perube - SP. Here we have begun our project. Using the idea behind observing and working with what is natural and unique to this landscape we are learning to grow local plants and fruit trees, as well as understand the forestation of the area, to best work with the land to support us and our animals. Currently we are growing orchards of multiple fruit trees, such as jack-fruit, papaya, starfruit, goiaba, bananas, coffee, cacao, and limes to name a few, as well as vegetables in our garden. We are using the concept of building green, by using local materials found on the land, such as different varieties of woods, bamboo and clay. We have switched most of our toilets over to the dry toilet system in order to make less of an environmental impact and use the compost to make fertilizer. Using the animal ma...

We bought this farm 5 years ago because we fell in love with the land and thought this place would be amazing to raise our son. After some years of hard work and a lot of learning we now have our own coffee brand Café Finca Sagrado Two years ago, we started offering coffee tours, chocolate workshops, accomodation for tourists, and a two week Spanish course. Kia Ora. I run an Angora goat farm just outside Oxford in North Canterbury. I have 180 very cute goats which I shear for fibre twice per year. I also farm sheep and cattle. I farm in a sustainable way and have been trialling some regenerative agricultural practices. I am looking for helpers starting from late September / early October 2026 Jobs include farm work, gardening, housekeeping, servicing and cleaning my AirBnB and learning about our farming systems. You would have your own room and receive all your food in return for 4-5 hours work per day. Those are the typical Helpx conditions. There are usually other Helpxers at the farm and we work, eat and live as a family , sharing housework and cooking tasks. I look forward to welcoming you to the farm!

At our off- grid solar, wood and gravity powered homestead you can live very close to Nature and learn by helping, how to grow your own food in the big, fully caged vegie garden/ orchard and some of how to build a bush cabin (it could be a winning strategy in years to come). We are long term, committed advocates, for climate change action and we've lived with Sustainability and Creating a low "Carbon Footprint" in mind, for 40 yrs now, settling here, (inland of Taree / Port Macquarie) from scratch in 1980, on 680 acres of rocky ridge forest on the wild and steep NW edge of the Bulga Plateau, 500m above sea level (a very beautiful but challenging location)! Watch our YouTube video below, about our community and us, made by the very talented helpxer, Louie Ablett. Three of us live here now, myself 74, David 84 and Sue 64, who started as a WWOOFer and has moved here with the help of a voluntary activity agreement through Centrelink for over 55s'. I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy to show you basis if you are interested. If you want to discover...

Hello. My name is Manon, and I am 33 years old. I live with my husband and my 1-year-old son, in a French old house. We have already renovated a large part of the house over the past two years. Now we're getting back to it with renewed enthusiasm :) I'm studying interior design and learning about traditional methods that are both durable and eco-friendly, so we can feel as comfortable as possible in this building. Anyone who wants to join us on this adventure is more than welcome :) We usually put together groups of volunteers to create fun and dynamic teams :-)

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature couples as applicants are now open. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking and non-vaping) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is not raining o...

We're Manon, Alessandro and Brioche (I'm a dog) a little young family passionate about nature, travelling, independence, regenerative practices, agriculture, farming, gardening, trekking and life. After almost 10 years of working and travelling overseas we felt the the needs to set roots and to transform our dream in to a reality. We bought an old farm stable in ruins (dry stone building) inside a very small village and a few hectares of old chestnuts forest next to it. On one side we want to restore the old building using eco techniques, as much as we can, to transform it in to our house and on the other side we are developing a syntropic garden, a little orchard based on agroforestry systems principles that will also be applied to some parts of the chestnuts forest. We're located in South Ardèche, near the town of Joyeuse. The place is famous for its rivers, canyons and forests with plenty of hiking and biking trails, bathing spots, canyoning, rafting, climbing spots, old small vil...

Namaste! My name is Dipendra, I’m a 28 year old Nepali man with a passion for nature, culture, and sharing the beauty of my country.

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature couples as applicants are now open. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome.
