Hello, I have recently moved into a property 15 minutes out of St Mary’s. It has a comfortable house and is surrounded by pristine bush. I have a vision of what I would like the property to eventually look like but there is a lot of work to do before then. Firstly the property needs a good tidy up. It hasn’t been maintained for a few years so there is quite a lot of growth that needs to be cleared to make it fire safe. This will involve chainsawing and brush cutting (whipper snipper). There is a lot of building materials and rubbish that can be taken to the tip. The house could do with a deep clean as well. There are some small shelters (a bit damaged) that I would like to resurrect and tidy up so that they can be used.

Hello, we are Cat and Silvan, who is 6 years old. We live on an organic permaculture farm in the Pyrenees in the south of France. The property is situated in a small hamlet of 8 houses bordering a wild forest including chestnut, ash, oak, acacia and cherry. We grow much of our own fruit and vegetables and collect hazelnuts, walnuts, mushrooms and wild herbs from the forest. I cut my own wood and much of the wood used in the construction has been harvested from the land. We have 5 goats and friends graze their horses during the summer months. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

Historic Devonport Village ( cafes, galleries, cinema) easy access and quick ferry (15 minute) commute to Auckland CBD. The bus stop is at end of street. In return I ask for help with house maintenance and light gardening, sorting garage etc.. There are no pets or children, I will be working at home. The location offers the best of Auckland summer to explore- beaches, ferries to islands in Hauraki Gulf, and the historic village of Devonport. Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. We are a group of friends who decided three years ago to restore a beautiful old village/motel in Jindabyne. We are looking for like minded individuals who are passionate about restoration/building and maintenance, love nature and have a good nature and willing to share a laugh over some good food. We are Sunny from China and Jeff from New York and we live in a small town in Oklahoma called Olustee of about 500 people. Nearby is a city called Altus of 19,000 people with stores, bars, restaurants and entertainment. You are invited to our place, either just to visit or to stay and help out.
