I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Thanks to all the helpers that have given us a hand. We close for the Winter months and look for help again in March 2026. So if you are self motivated and planning ahead, send us a message and we will get back to you. We are in the countryside, a bus passes our gate 3 times a day. There are a few bicycles to borrow. Lovely walks through the Woods. Take a day trip to see Cliffs of Moher, visit Galway. Listen to Irish music in one of our local pubs. You can help out in the Garden, chopping wood, watering plants and vegetables to light domestic duties. When we get time we get more creative as it's a big property and there is always something to do. You will live in your own quarters with other volunteers. Food is included. Also WIFI. The day typically starts at 11am and finishes 4pm with a break in-between. Two days off to go and explore the area. We prefer to get people for a minimum of 3 weeks stay. At our off- grid solar, wood and gravity powered homestead you can live very close to Nature and learn by helping, how to grow your own food in the big, fully caged vegie garden/ orchard and some of how to build a bush cabin (it could be a winning strategy in years to come). We are long term, committed advocates, for climate change action and we've lived with Sustainability and Creating a low "Carbon Footprint" in mind, for 40 yrs now, settling here, (inland of Taree / Port Macquarie) from scratch in 1980, on 680 acres of rocky ridge forest on the wild and steep NW edge of the Bulga Plateau, 500m above sea level (a very beautiful but challenging location)! Watch our YouTube video below, about our community and us, made by the very talented helpxer, Louie Ablett. Three of us live here now, myself 74, David 84 and Sue 64, who started as a WWOOFer and has moved here with the help of a voluntary activity agreement through Centrelink for over 55s'. If you are looking for something that can give you a chance to meet locals and to be mingled with them, this would be the best option for you. Hello, my partner John & I, have had a wonderful time sharing our home with volunteers. We now have a vacancy from the end of January. We live as a family & enjoy many things together, with our volunteers, many of whom have become lasting friends. We live in a 4 bed modern dormer bungalow, in a beautiful village, with a shop & bus stop 3 minutes walk from the house. We live with my father, who is 88 years old and has moderate memory loss. My father has Carer’s visiting 3 times a day, to help him shower & take him out for a drive. Volunteers are not involved in my fathers personal care, but My father loves extra company from volunteers, so that he doesn’t feel lonely. My father does like to have volunteers there, to watch television with him, so that he’s not alone. I also need help with running the house & simple vegetarian cooking. We have a friendly and well-mannered old lady dog, Labrador cross springer, called Teal, she loves to go for a walk, with volunteers, in the mo...

A top rated organic farm in Tuscany is welcoming volunteers who are passionate and ideally have some experience in vegetable farming for the 2026 season: March to November. Marc and I purchased and took over this place in December 2023, and we are expanding both the farm and hospitality operations. We are looking for a couple (friends, partners, siblings) with experience, skills and knowledge in organic and regenerative vegetable farming. And, as we are still in the process of adding more facilities to the property, additional skills in construction, maintenance, as well as wood working, trail making, etc. or the flexibility and interest in learning these skills would be very helpful. Our 2026 season starts in May, but we will need to start planting and preparing for the season in early March at the latest. During the season, we will need help with producing vegetables and ingredients for the food we serve to guests. Hours are flexible, based on needs, but helping hours will ave...

We are located in the mid of the Atlantic Rainforest about 120 km away from Rio deJaneiro city. Our project started 13 years ago and building work is still going on but there is an end in sight, the vegetable garden and orchard are in good shape but need a caring hand all the time. Our reforestation project is concluded; we planted 2500 native trees of the Atlantic Rainforest on a hill where cattle were grazing in the past. The concept includes MTB-trails in order to facilitate the planting and maintenance of the trees. Along the trails we planted plenty fruit trees. There is still work to do with the cycle trails in order to use them with a bike. There are several buildings where we live on our land. The kitchen is communitarian; we usually take turns for preparing the lunch. We cook vegetarian and try to use as much as possible what we can grow on our land. We have chickens, dogs and cats that live with us and we need a hand with them too. We can provide a room with private ...

Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

Hello - we are an animal-centric home on a small farmlet close to the township of Lithgow. We have a queen size bedroom available with own entry. We are walking distance to town. We have large dogs, so you will need to be confident around animals. We also breed miniature goats and have a garden and lots of chooks. Our property is located on an historic coal mine site and has many ruins to explore. We have resident native animals including kangaroos, bird life, wombats, possums and reptiles. We are looking for someone who is kind and curious about permaculture, gardening and animals. We are learning about regenerative practices and are trying to live gently. The property takes much of our time and there are always multiple projects on the go, with a view to sustainability and working with our environment. We are building food gardens, goat fencing including portable electric fences so we can have the goats graze on the weeds, we are also planning to restore our 1940’s train carriage in...

We are a couple from Austria and we live since january 2014 in the middle of the Swedish nature together with around 25 Alaskan Huskies. Our farm is in the middle of now-where at the beginning of Swedish Lapland and you can expect a lot of nature, lakes, woods and a lot of wild animals like bears, lynx, moose, reindeers and many different kind of birds. You can help us with training and feeding the dogs, cleaning the kennels. In wintertime there is also help needed with snow shoveling. You should be able to speak English (B2) or German. You should also be able to work sometimes alone. There is plenty of spare time, to explore the nature and the surrounding. You should be at least 18 years old, a teamplayer, love to be outside, it is not necessary that you have knowledge about dogs or in special about sleddogs. You will get all the information from us. What we offer is accommodation in a cabin with bathroom and toilet. And you will get groceries which you can cook for yourself. Yo...

We have a 400 hectare Sheep, Beef and Cropping farm in Marlborough. We have two boys and need an extra pair of hands from time to time to help on the farm, around the garden or inside the house. We prefer one person or a couple as we only have one spare room in the house. Also you must be able to speak good English and be able to drive a manual (not automatic) vehicle. Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room has a double bed attached to the house with a private entrance. Applications for COUPLES or TWO people are open now. Opportunities for summer vineyard and winemaking work are available now, starting in January 2026. Couples with Visitor visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is...

This is not just a place to live, it is an ideal home where humanity and nature coexist in harmony. Our members come from different backgrounds and countries, but we are united by our shared faith and alignment with the "800 Values for New Era Humans." Here, life is simple yet full of spirituality. We grow vegetables, plant flowers, build houses, cook, and clean. Although our daily activities are ordinary, they are infused with warmth and joy because we live with love, respect, and freedom at the core of our values. Emotional and sexual relationships in our community are free yet noble and elegant. We care for each other with mutual respect and love, rejecting any form of coercion or restriction. We firmly oppose possessiveness and exclusivity in relationships, as they are the root causes of suffering. Children in our community grow up freely, seeing all members as their family, and the entire community takes responsibility for their upbringing and education. Elderly members r...

It`s been over 10 years now that we are participating in programs like this. We never get tired of new people staying and having strangers turning into friends. Also our neighbors and others in the village enjoy the exchange. They are always up for a small talk, which is great for you to practice your German! About us: We have organic breed Wagyu Beef (the most expensive meat in the world). There are 3 Horses, a Pig, Chicken, Dogs and a bunch of Cats that are also part of the Farm. We also grow all sort of crops. Either to feed our animals or to sell them. We also grow apples, plums, pears, potatoes and many other things that grow in a garden.
