I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Hello! My name is Ursula, I live on a 2 hectare property with sometimes my daughters Carole and Loup, our horses, Djoura, her daughter Talissa and her friends Aïcha and Shadow, some kilometers away from Muret. The house and the garden are big and we often need extra support with the animals. The property is next to a beautiful forest, so for those who enjoy going for walks, our house is perfect for you! I have also some friends in the surrounding countryside who you might meet. Helpers with independent spirits are the happiest here but it would be great to eat together and speak in different languages. All in all the work here mostly consists in gardening, fencing, horsemanship (relations with the horses and also cleaning up after them ;-)), as well as some restoration (both inside and outside). I also became a caring family or temporary shelter for wild cats to be socialized so if you appreciate them you can help me with this chore. Of course I always appreciate those with special ...

It`s been over 10 years now that we are participating in programs like this. We never get tired of new people staying and having strangers turning into friends. Also our neighbors and others in the village enjoy the exchange. They are always up for a small talk, which is great for you to practice your German! About us: We have organic breed Wagyu Beef (the most expensive meat in the world). There are 3 Horses, gooses, Chicken, sheep and a bunch of Cats that are also part of the Farm. We also grow all sort of crops. Either to feed our animals or to sell them. We also grow apples, plums, pears, potatoes and many other things that grow in a garden. There is never a time during summer where u can not just go outside and eat something straight from where it grows.. Ruesselhausen is a small village. Just perfect to be in the nature. There are bikes for you to use so you can discover the surrounding nature. It would be good if you speak a little German because not all of us speak English. ...

This farm from around 1864 in Hardanger has not been run for about 30 years, and has been brought back to life by us and a bunch of volunteers .Tessa grew up in Oslo and moved here 2017, and Ander came in 2019 and is from Basque country. Ander and Tessa take care of of their newly planted apple plantation, and make apple juice and cider. We got some chickens and Ander keeps bees, and we make firewood for the house. The farm overlooks the glacier Folgefonna across the fjord. Tessa and Ander often work late. Sometimes we are social and sometimes we all need time on our own. It is therefore great if the volunteers can be self sufficient in their free time and manage to transport themselves around. So the bus is your option, and it is limited. So we are a bit isolated here. We like people that have some working skills, that they are practical and get things done in an effective way. We are looking for a couple or two friends that do not care sharing a room ( see information about room lat...

We invite you to volunteer and participate in creating a unique experience with us this summer. We organise, build and run a unique, tented, sustainable venue - a temporary outdoor eco-village in the West of England. We’re looking for people who like working hard, having fun, and being part of a community to get involved. Every summer since 1990, our trustees (all volunteers) and many other volunteers from all walks of life come together and create something truly inspiring! We are a temporary venue reflected by the three main phases of our season. The most diverse range of activities and greatest need for volunteers are during the setup and takedown of the site, but of course we also rely on our team of volunteers for the running of the events! You will be supported and encouraged to be involved in whatever you feel most comfortable doing, and we always appreciate new ideas and feedback - we are all about learning, participation, and celebration of individuals and community. My character home is located just outside the Cambridge greenbelt on a large 3500m section. My back neighbour is a horse stud and it is a peaceful location. There is always work to be done in the garden or preserving the produce. On-going work: General housekeeping. Mowing lawns and clearing with weed eater. Gardening. Some preserving and baking. Projects in 2026 include re-establishing a vegetable garden and installing an outside bath. Preparing an area for a large Belle tent for glamping. Once we get into the summer months the tent will be set up as accomodation for a HelpX couple. Some inside painting and tiling if you are experienced (i am not!). If you have a particular skill or interest we will aim to work with that! I highly recommend you have your own transport to give you freedom to explore in your time off. With natural cultivation, fruit that tastes like when you were a child... good water and clean air - the opportunity to build your "own" new home there? 💫 Maybe this is your chance. On a self-sufficient farm in Portugal, you have the chance to find out whether it could be your way to actively participate in a paradise that has already been created. It is helpful to have 😊 a love of animals and nature, initiative and mindfulness, love - for what you do and for life. NON SMOKERS ONLY! I am in LAUNCESTON TASMANIA. I (Yvonne) have a house in West Launceston, it is not a farm, it is a friendly house in a quiet Launceston suburb! I can accommodate one or two FEMALE helpers (Due to the religious Haram restrictions of one of our residents I can't accommodate male helpers) for about a week or so. Minimum stay three nights. Please inquire about available dates. Accommodation (for a single or two females) is in a private room with a double-bed. (Pictured). I can also add a single camp-bed in this room if helpers are two women who don't share a bed. I have been unwell, have poor eyesight, am on a restricted diet and am often busy doing volunteer community work, so I find it too difficult to have to cook meals and supply food. I can only offer an arrangement where you do two hours work per day for just accommodation and you supply your own food and cook your own meals. If this sounds like something you would be OK with, do contact me! Helpers assist me mo...

Hello! We live on a beautiful two and a half acre bush block, surrounded by tall trees and we are an easy 1km walk to lovely swimming beaches on the South Coast of NSW. We need help with our property maintenance - eg. weeding, raking, mowing, feeding the chooks, collecting the eggs, compost making etc If outdoor work is not your thing, or if it is raining and the weather not great, there are inside tasks I need a hand with like cleaning windows, general housework plus if you are a keen cook you are most welcome to take a turn! In the ten years we have been here, we have worked hard to establish a caged vege garden, some fruit trees, plus we breed chickens as egg layers. We have Australorps (black and blue) Cream Legbars, Olive Eggers, plus a mixture of other varities. Our local town of Moruya, has a fabulous, award winning Farmers Market which operates every Tuesday afternoon. There is also a very friendly community running group each Wednesday afternoon, with the choice of 2...

Good morning;. I went on the Wagon Train in Montana like I have since 1983. We had a bad wreck, both of us got hurt. My ribs are not broken but the Doctor said they would be better if they were . Please come help me. I am now able to ride the ride on mower and get mowing done. Still painful.. My helper who had been here just over 3 years [yes years],moved . He works in town full time, stayed here for free and helped with chores. I really need the help. I do need someone for the winter months for sure. I have had 3 really great helpers already this year and 1 vanishing act. Too funny. Not as much to do as most years. Painting will have to get done this year. That is outside on the little buildings. 2 barn doors need repairs. Please respond when I send an invitation. I wait and wait and so many do not reply. Thank you to those who do. Due to my health, i have gotten behind.. I hope to see many more new friends in 2026. If you have not been to Saskatchewan, You are missing sheer beauty ...

I am an Irish filmmaker recently relocated to rural France, where I am developing a filmmaking residency and independent creative retreat in a 150-year-old French manor house. The property includes a 20+ room château-style house and two vast barns, which I am in the process of transforming into a fully independent film and arts studio complex. The long-term vision is to host filmmaking residencies, Kino Kabaret events, writers’ retreats, and film-industry masterclasses, alongside screenings, collaborative productions, and summer open-air theatre. This is a hands-on, evolving creative space designed for filmmakers, writers, artists, and curious makers who want to live and work together in a quiet, inspiring setting. The barns are being converted into:a 30-seat cinema / screening room editing suites a recording studio additional artist studios and workshop space Inside the main house, the work is largely restoration: painting and decorating historic salons and bedrooms, laying tile and w...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing, and energizing our own water though Ionisation. Water conservation is part of life for me. You can come to Maryborough via plane, bus or train. The Hervey Bay Airport is only 30min from my home. There are meanwhile several bus companies to choose from. If you use the train please book Maryborough town from the drop down menu. The shuttle bus from the train station in Maryborough west (20 min out of town) is free of charge if it is pre-booked. As international travelers you qualify for a concession card on Queensland trai...

After 3 years at the property where previous HelpX volunteers have helped us, my partner (Drew) and I (Maia) have just bought an absolutely incredible property right on the river, taking in over mid-May (2026). We're open to having some help from June onwards. We're still on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands in Queensland (popular for its incredible climate, nature, waterfalls, swimming holes, lakes, tourist attractions, etc.) We have our own huge swimming hole and many wallabies live here too. 😍 Our average age is 63 (young at heart!) We have accumulated knowledge and wisdom that we are happy to share. Drew is very practical and his talents are creative and diverse, like designing and building things, solar know-how and ingenious solutions to assorted challenges. My skills are both practical and creative - interior decorating, coaching and mentoring, music and therapeutic sound, photography, writing and creative problem-solving. While helpers sometimes have their own van, we most...

Our traditional Algarve farmhouse and 'wilderness' garden is situated in the countryside close to the market town of Loule. In exchange for around 3 - 4 hours help a day, 5 days a week, in the garden and/or helping us with a new online project, we offer a comfortable, self contained apartment situated above our home. The apartment is equipped with high speed internet and a good work table and the set up would be a great opportunity for one or 2 people who are working on line and are interested in hands on gardening, simple maintenance projects or assisting us with their internet skills. The apartment consists of a spacious bedroom with either a king sized bed or 2 single beds, a small bathroom ( with a large sink for dishwashing) and a kitchen/ living room which opens onto a private terrace. There is also a tv and a great selection of our favourite books. The kitchen area does not include a conventional stove , however, there is a roomy fridge/freezer, a kettle, toaster and mi...

skills check list for travellers: # photography and having a high quality camera. # Photo and video editing and having a laptop # designing in fashion and clothing. # social communication to help in social media promotion #salesmanship skills to work at our craft store I am Ashok. I have very strong feelings for my local folk culture and at the same time I am very much impressed personally by Khadi ideology of Mahatma Gandhi. I have been working for my passion for last 20 years. In June 2004, I formed an NGO - Hastshilp, A Society for handicrafts and since then I have found incredible crafts of Khadi in the villages of Bikaner and their guardians- the artisans who have been considered untouchables and have faced immense diversities in life. In spite of this they have survived and carrying their centuries old craft traditions. I have a studio CAMEL DHANI , just in the outskirts of Bikaner city on Jaipur- Jodhpur bypass road, in a small farm. It's an open piece of land where craft work...

None the less you will have the opportunity to join in with some family activities, and I value the cultural component of this type of exchange. Bicycle available. I ...

Connectedness on a farm in Portugal Are You looking for a way to live a life in harmony with nature? With natural cultivation, fruit that tastes like when you were a child... good water and clean air - the opportunity to build your "own" new home there? 💫 Maybe this is your chance. On a self-sufficient farm in Portugal, you have the chance to find out whether it could be your way to actively participate in a paradise that has already been created. Here on a farm in the center of Portugal, where there is still a lot of potential and work to be done, I have been contributing my love and energy for 5 years now. I am looking for appreciative fellow campaigners who not only respect what has already been created, but also continue the project together with heart and dedication. It is helpful to have 😊 a love of animals and nature, initiative and mindfulness, love - for what you do and for life. Personal responsibility and the ability to self-reflect 💫 Personal initiative ...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...

Currently looking for 1 additional person or a couple, to stay at least 3 weeks while we are away, ideally with your own car. The American half of our partnership is certified in ecological horticulture from the University of California Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems, and ran an organic farm in California, hosting farm volunteers for 15 years before moving to Austria. skills check list for travellers: # photography and having a high quality camera.
