We are looking for help in the garden and some house cleaning. We are a family of four with a large house and garden. The house was built in the 1850's and has been fully restored. Our home is situated within a farm and it's in the beautiful Banks Peninsula area. Akaroa is a short drive away. We have lots of garden jobs - We are looking for keen gardeners and help around the house. We are myself Brigid, my husband Mark and our daughter Livi - our other daughter Alyana is living overseas. We love to travel and we love meeting new people. We enjoy sharing dinners and good conversations. We also have a small dog Alfie and a cat called Kitty Mu Mu. We can provide accommodation and some meals. We prefer to have a couple. Most of the work will be in the garden and housekeeping. I love it when other people cook. It is best if you have a car as you can then explore the fabulous Banks Peninsula. We are in a quiet Bay and Akaroa is close by with restaurants, shops and adventures. There are pl...

Wellspring is set on 11 acres of beautiful land with wonderful views over the waters of the Manukau Harbour and with direct access to an expansive beach reserve. At the heart of the light filled house is a meditation room filled with musical instruments and opening onto an expansive lawn which is the setting for outdoor living and communal gatherings. Help is needed in the house and on the land with tasks that include maintaining gardens and fruit trees, cutting grass, clearing weeds, making compost and cutting wood. I welcome people who love Nature and who can work with focus and commitment. In exchange for 24 hours work a week I offer a comfortable room , delicious and wholesome vegetarian meals, access to beaches and bush walks and the possibility that new doors will open for you.

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

The activities are based on the four pillars of the project: Sea Turtle Conservation: The sea turtle season begins in July and ends in December. From January to June, the frequency of turtles on the beach is reduced to one or two per month, so only one daytime patrol is conducted three times a week to relocate eggs on the beach if a turtle hatches. During these months, activities such as informational signage and beach sectoring are carried out. From July to December, night patrols begin. From September to December, the hatching of baby turtles begins, along with nest exhumation activities. Daytime Bird Monitoring: From January to June, three monitoring sessions are conducted per week. From July to December, the frequency decreases as we focus more on the sea turtle season; however, monitoring is still carried out during the week. This activity involves observing and learning about bird behavior, identifying birds, collecting and studying data, and planting native plants that birds use...

Preference will be given to helpers with a genuine interest in learning about NZ dairy farming and animal husbandry. We love sharing what we do and prefer to host helpers with a desire to learn. We run a boutique dairy farm, milking a small herd of much loved cows and selling raw milk to our wonderful customers Starting a new business is hard work and not for the faint-hearted. If you consider yourself up for the challenge of helping us, we'd love to hear from you! We offer a family environment with opportunities for farm work, housework, gardening and cooking. There is a wide variety of work available. Working with the animals of course, weed control, plus fencing work, painting, carpentry, building and lots of different small tasks to complete. If outdoor work doesn't appeal, help in the house with cooking and cleaning is always appreciated, and the large and previously neglected garden also requires a lot of work. We try to fit the work to each helper's skills and interests, and ...

The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht.  I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay.  My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house ...

Hi! In the past we have hosted helpers on our house, or longer-term campers working seasonally in town, people camping until they manage to land a rental, or attending the local TAFE permaculture course. We can offer a private campsite, a composting toilet, hot shower, a dry spot in the shed for a change. Usually volunteers have had a meal with us in the house once a week, we would like some help around the place, either a little gardening or fencing, or helping on any of the eleventy projects in progress. We have a small registered Dexter herd, some Langshan chooks, a vegetable garden, trying to get some trees established in the paddocks.

We are a semi-retired couple who love gardening, cooking, journaling, dancing and sightseeing. Our mud brick house is comfortable and usually cool in summer. You will have your own cosy room. We have fans for cooling and open fireplace for heating if required. The property has a boundary with the State Forest. It is very green all around. We have many native wildlife visit us such as wallabies, wombats, Kookaburras, and a resident Koala. We are off the grid and generate our own electricity and source our water from the creek that is fed by a small waterfall (La La Falls). Conserving energy is a common practice here and it would be wonderful to share sustainable ideas. It's a 20 min walk to the town. We hope to share our rich culturally diverse lifestyle and show you our beautiful valley and quirky valley attractions. We are hoping for a helper (or couple or friends), who can help with garden tidy-up (lawns, weeds and pruning), house projects and cleaning. If you know how to use to...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. We are a family, with 3 at home now (includes 18 year old daughter) and live on a small farm on the Otago Peninsula. It is 15 mins drive to the centre of Dunedin, and on a convenient bus route. You can walk down to the local shops, gallery, beach, boat club etc and we have great harbour and rural outlook (while still being close to town). We have a collection of pets (cats, dog) as well as sheep and alpaca on the property. We both work as well as managing the activities on the farm and house/garden. We have a beautiful (and currently very overgrown) established garden, and would appreciate some help with gardening and other maintenance jobs around the house and property. Our house is an old villa, and is a mix of renovated, partly renovated, and a bit run down! We have a sleep-out near the house. You need to come inside the house to use the bathroom, and are welcome to stay in the house in the evenings. Currently we also have a room inside the house, with double bed. We are...

Come Spend Some Time in the Coromandel 🌿 We have beaches, we have forests, and we have a very casual relationship with clocks. We’re a couple in our 40s–50s looking for people to share our piece of wilderness with. We have two somewhat manic cats, but we ourselves are fairly chill. Over the years we’ve tried a wide range of hobbies and crafts, from home brewing and cheesemaking to glass blowing and hang gliding (some more current than others!). We enjoy meeting creative people and giving everything a go. We’ve travelled through Scandinavia and Asia and look forward to travelling again, but for now we travel vicariously through our visitors’ stories — and love helping you make the most of your adventures in New Zealand. Our property is 26 hectares of regenerating native bush, with a stream, waterfalls, swimming holes, glow worms, and plenty of space to explore. We’re close to Whitianga, Hot Water Beach, and Cathedral Cove, yet the home itself is tucked into the forest where you can ...

Kia ora! We're a family of 3 living on 1.5 acres in Waipapa, Kerikeri. We're in a central spot for everywhere special to the east, west, south and far north. There are many great places to see and visit nearby or take a day trip to. We prefer 2 helpers working 10 hours per week (per person) in exchange for accommodation in your own private cottage. It's clean and totally separate to our main house. Available NOW till end of Feb 2026. ---- Our property suits a couple (or 2 or 3 friends) who work independently. You need your own vehicle to get around. Food and laundry are not provided. Previous helpers say our place is perfect to refresh after camping in the car/tent, great wifi and comfortable beds, private retreat, also central to everywhere north of Auckland. Single helpers need to complete 15 hours per week. WHERE? Set in a beautiful rural location, but only 3 minutes' drive to Waipapa and 8 minutes' drive to Kerikeri. There's lots of fab places to enjoy nearby; waterfalls, bea...

Hi Helpers, We have a property in Queensberry which is 18km south from Wanaka. We have been growing and planting both native and exotic trees to regenerate the land. We also grow vegetables, saffron and have an orchard and a small plant nursery. We have chickens and will provide you with fresh eggs to enjoy. We are close to finishing a purpose built restaurant on our land too! We have one retro caravan for sleeping with a double bed and feather down duvet, or you can stay in your own sleeping van. We have well provisioned camp ground facilities with all you need to self cater. There is a space in the shed to hang out in and enjoy the rural tranquility. We are located in the Upper Clutha basin surrounded by beautiful mountains, lakes and rivers. We are far enough from urban areas to have clear night skies and be really connected to nature. There is an abundance of bike trails, walks and other Central Otago attractions. The river is close by to explore the many tracks and appreciate t...

Welcome to Ashburton. Note - originally this page was for my family farm, however I am now on my own small 5 acre lifestyle block. We are a family of four, Lizzy & Stu and our two children Matilda 8months and Addie 2years. We have a small little style block with ponies, sheep, ducks and chickens. We are looking for people who love children and animals. Love to cook and are happy to help out gardening, painting, mowing lawns, building, anything really. We are 5minutes out of Ashburton and offer a lovely cosy room and meals.

We are...

I live in a large house in Veyrin, a very very small village, in a very nice countryside in France, 90km East of Lyon, not fare from the Alps. Genève (Switzerland) is 1h30 driving. I'm looking for non-smokers helpers, who could help me 4h/day in my organic vegetable garden or helping me to welcome holidaymakers and pilgrims in my gite. You will have your own bedroom. The common kitchen is to be shared with everybody. The food is vegetarian. I can speak English. If you are sportive we can lend you a bicycle to visit around. The first town is 12km from Veyrin. I have a cat. I don't accept others pets. Please contact me if you want more details. You can also have a look on my website via link below. Looking forward meeting you.

I have many years experience with people staying in my home and enjoy their energy and both learning from them and sharing my life experience with them. I seek people with an good level of conversation English and a person who is fun loving with an open personality is preferred. I particularly admire artists, writers and musicians. The priority is to have some company and energy in my home. Activities include long walks, board games, tending garden, watching TV shows and conversations. In general the active time will be 4 hours a day / 5 days a week. House also has other bedrooms with ordinary tenants.
