We often need a helper who can stay for more than 3 weeks. There are many free hot springs near the facility. And near our hostel, there is good water hole. If you stay winter season, you can enjoy skiing. 1.5km from our hostel. I need you what is clean up our accommodation house and something. The content of work is 5 days a week, and the hours are typically 3 hours a day. There are only one rooms for helpers, so only women are recruited. We are a group of friends who decided three years ago to restore a beautiful old village/motel in Jindabyne. We are looking for like minded individuals who are passionate about restoration/building and maintenance, love nature and have a good nature and willing to share a laugh over some good food. We have hosted people from all around the world, including all over Europe, Asia, North and South America. The motel is a 5-minute drive from local amenities such as supermarkets, shops, pubs, and a skate park. From June to September there are plenty of winter activities including skiing, tobogganing, and snowboarding at nearby ski resorts, just 30 minutes away. In summer, there are plenty of hikes, mountain biking, fishing, as well as the beach at Jindabyne Lake, Blue Lake and we are 30 minutes from the tallest mountain in Australia- Mount Koscioscko. Yarrangobilly Caves and nearby thermal pools are about one hour away. Our beautiful site features a serene river, where you can go...

We are retired couple living in the beautiful West Cork , right on the Wild Atlantic Way. The house is surrounded by green fields, and the Ilen river flows past its front. It is 3 km from Drimoleague where you find bars, bus stop, pharmacy, post office and supermarket. Therefore, a car is preferred. We can provide bicycles 🚲 . Or we can pick you up and drop you off at the bus stop(3km). Sometimes we go out together to explore nearby scenic spots or go to music bars. We just moved to this big home in 2026, The spacious garden needs regular maintenance, and the riverbank in front of the house (where there are fish) also needs regular clearing. The works involved using the lawnmower, tending to the plants, pruning, and cleaning the paths and riverbanks. Nothing complicated. We are looking for a helper who loves gardening and the countryside to work with. We provide accommodation and food. We are not vegetarians, but we can be tolerant and can also cook vegetarian dishes. In exchange, y...

I am a creative person living in Mumbai (Bombay) , India, I grew up in rural and urban natural lives. Making me experience working on farms, cities and learn some things on different levels of cultures, society differences, Indian deeper roots, religious, spiritual and positivity through life. So looking at life in its best or worst way, with in its various colourful shades. 👉🏼 For References - ask for my other volunteer site profile. 👉🏼 My passion is film making but still I am trying to develop my spiritual understanding. Sametime in support of growing world awareness of organic life or climate changes comes as a beginning of a new era. And proud to be part of it as its time to deconstruct what we constructed just in few decades. Mumbai city is the only city in the world where the Country lives in a city i.e you will find everyone from the different parts of India living in the city of Mumbai. The city also supports some ancient spiritual caves and temples. It is active in mov...

We are Adam and Sue (chef). We live in the hills of the Algarve, in an old estate with a lake, all situated in a quiet valley. We have been slowly renovating and improving the land here for the last 6 years. We aspire to being organic and self sufficient eventually but need some help to achieve this! We have dogs, cats, rabbits, quails and chickens, and hope to add goats and peacocks soon too! We are looking for 2 fit, energetic, hands-on people to work with us to maintain our lake, create and maintain the garden and trees, rebuild drystone walls, brick & mortar projects, woodwork/carpentry projects, and other general maintenance. In exchange we can offer accommodation and meals. We are omnivores, but happy to cook vegetarian or vegan as required too! We can offer a skill swap of cooking, hand spinning wool, and the practical skills that we have learnt along the way so far. We are an extended family, dogs and cats. We live in the south Italy (trulli area). Read to the end! If you don't read to the end, I'm unlikely to consider your request. Yes, exactly! ))) People, this is an exchange, and an opportunity for growth. You need to be curious and positive. Otherwise, this experience is not for you! Commonly we need help from In March/April for the garden around our trullo and studio. At the end of October we harvest the olive, and then I evaluate the requests between November and December. We are currently looking for volunteers and assistants in our art lab, studio and summer camp activities. We have some cultural projects underway, with curation, programming, and management. We need help to restore and maintain the houses and the work in our laboratory. We work with stone, wood, clay and earth, iron, glass, etc... We love and respect the traditional constraction manner of this land. But we also are very open for new ideas and possibilities that resp...

We're Manon, Alessandro and Brioche (I'm a dog) a little young family passionate about nature, travelling, independence, regenerative practices, agriculture, farming, gardening, trekking and life. After almost 10 years of working and travelling overseas we felt the the needs to set roots and to transform our dream in to a reality. We bought an old farm stable in ruins (dry stone building) inside a very small village and a few hectares of old chestnuts forest next to it. On one side we want to restore the old building using eco techniques, as much as we can, to transform it in to our house and on the other side we are developing a syntropic garden, a little orchard based on agroforestry systems principles that will also be applied to some parts of the chestnuts forest. We're located in South Ardèche, near the town of Joyeuse. The place is famous for its rivers, canyons and forests with plenty of hiking and biking trails, bathing spots, canyoning, rafting, climbing spots, old small vil...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Hei, here is Monica and Mario During the pandemic our life changed radically and we are now living in the beautiful island of Skrova, most known as Lofoten's Little Hawaii!! Monica is from Portugal, 35 years old and Mario from USA (half Norwegian/Sicilian....) 34 years old. The atmosphere on the island is very relaxed and friendly! It's a small island and since we are the only cafe/restaurant, give us the oportunity to have a very strong conection with the local comunity. Volunteers that stay with us have the oportunity to meet and get close to locals and local life. We we like to go for walks, kayaking, paddle boarding, spend time in nature, eat some nice food (Mario is a great cook) and have some chats with a glass of red wine (preference under the shy Norwegian Sun ;) oh and we loooove to use the sauna!!! ;) We have various projects going on: - A little guesthouse with 15 rooms - a local cafe/restaurant, set in a beautiful 200 years old building - Our house: small tasks around ...

Winter is getting closer and after a nice summer enjoying green grass, the last sheep which are in the mountains will have to come back in the barn. So we would need people to help us to feed the sheep and clean the barn after them and of course, pet them! The shearers will come for a couple of days in November so if you want to help us to get the sheep ready for their new winter outfit, text us ! There is also free time to enjoy hot spots and swimming pool to relax! You can of course text even if you're available another time of the year, we need people around all year long ! Message us on WhatsApp or on HelpX. My WhatsApp number is above. Send me (Caroline, who runs the HelpX) a message (here, on WhatsApp or Instagram caroline.lsgt). You can also message Beggi (the farmer) directly via Facebook (Alexander Flumbri), named after Beggi's cat! Profile picture is of the cat as well (Beggi doesn't have that many hair!)! Where to start? We are a family in the western part of Iceland, a...

At our off- grid solar, wood and gravity powered homestead you can live very close to Nature and learn by helping, how to grow your own food in the big, fully caged vegie garden/ orchard and some of how to build a bush cabin (it could be a winning strategy in years to come). We are long term, committed advocates, for climate change action and we've lived with Sustainability and Creating a low "Carbon Footprint" in mind, for 40 yrs now, settling here, (inland of Taree / Port Macquarie) from scratch in 1980, on 680 acres of rocky ridge forest on the wild and steep NW edge of the Bulga Plateau, 500m above sea level (a very beautiful but challenging location)! Watch our YouTube video below, about our community and us, made by the very talented helpxer, Louie Ablett. Three of us live here now, myself 74, David 84 and Sue 64, who started as a WWOOFer and has moved here with the help of a voluntary activity agreement through Centrelink for over 55s'. Sue came in September 2019 , lost th...

Kia ora! Thanks for your interest in coming to stay in Houghton Bay, Wellington. The local area is full of native bush, plenty of walking tracks, beaches for snorkelling or surfing, and being close enough to the city to enjoy other attractions Wellington has to offer too. Or check out nearby Newtown for opshops, or head to thr cinema at Island Bay. About me and why I host: I was born in the uk and came to nz on a working holiday visa with a plan to be in Wellington for a week. It has been over 20yrs! My 2 kids are now adults and on their own overseas adventures. We used to host via couchsurfing and love meeting people from around the world and hearing their stories or just chatting in general (I love tea!). However a bad back, busy life, trying to renovate, and a section that loves to grow weeds as fast as I can pull them meant when a friend told me about helpx and workaway I signed up. I love that it is a win for both guests and hosts- I love to travel and know that getting to st...

We grow organic table grapes, a few fruit trees, chickens and a few pigs. This is a real farm experience, mostly working in the vineyard, with some fun too. There is biking to town, swimming in the ocean or our lake, fishing, basketball, volleyball, hiking, nature walks, beach strolling and look for fossils at Blue Beach, camp fires , rope swing in our little lake, take in the fantastic views, sunsets, star gazing, internet, phone and go to nearby towns such as Wolfville and Hantsport as well as the rest of the Annapolis Valley with the local bus. The accommodations and kitchen are separate for helpers cooking with an abundance of food. This is a more independent farm stay. Hope you can make it here.

Our place in Hohenmoor is an historic school house with about 2 hectares of gardens, forest and wildflower meadows in beautiful surroundings. We, Tilmann & Tanja, enjoy this gem in the middle of nowhere about three months each year, usually during the summer. For the rest of the year we live in New Zealand. The old school house has two main living areas. Upstairs is where we are living and there is a spare room / guest room for you to stay. Downstairs lives Tilmann's mother Elke who has at least two green thumbs and grows a variety of vegetables and flowers in the beautiful garden. Carlo, the cat, lives here too and it's him that owns the place! We are about 5 km from the next village in a rural and quiet location, apart from lots of birds and wildlife that can be vocal at times. There are lots of back country roads and forests, villages and beautiful towns like Stade to explore. Hamburg is about 1.5 hrs by train from the nearest train station (10 min by car). The property has more tr...

We are an elderly couple living in a large house at the head of Lochcarron in the Scottish Highlands. Access is by road or by train where guests can be met. We enjoy visits from friends and relations. Many enjoy hill walking locally and on the Isle of Skye nearby. Our hobbies/occupations are propagation of plants and beekeeping, collecting, cutting chopping and stacking of wood for stoves. Guests with an interest in gardening and general maintenance or general housework would be great. The house is about 2 km away from the village which has 2 general stores and three cafes. There is a 9 course golf course and a sailing club. Of interest there are many garden birds as well as nesting barn owls and eagles on the hill, red and roe deer and pine martens. Red squirrels have been re-introduced locally.

Welcome to our family-run permaculture farm in the countryside of Bilecik, Türkiye. My name is Selçuk. I started this farm in 2008 after leaving my white-collar career to build a life closer to soil, animals, food, and nature. Today I live here with my wife, Julia, and together we share our daily life and farm activities with guests from different cultures. I have studied Culinary Arts, Agricultural Technologies, and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. I also hold a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) and have training in holistic management. My main interests are animal systems, fermentation, food transformation, and practical permaculture. Real Rural Life Life here is simple and genuinely rural. We do not offer luxury or hotel-style comfort. You will experience the realities of countryside life: animals, soil, mud, changing weather, quiet nights, and days shaped by nature. Guests stay in a simple guest space on the farm. We provide three meals a day and usually eat together. Food ...

We.previously lived in Boreen Point on the Sunshine Coast where we hosted many helpers through helpx with amazing reviews over a period of 17years.. Most never wanted to leave. We have now moved and bought an equally stunning property in Far North Queensland in a small country town (Cardwell) on 3 acres 10 minutes from beach. We are located between Cairns and Townsville and just south of Mission Beach. Terry and I are not as young as we used to be and are struggling with maintaining the property. We need help for 4hours a day, with weeding, mulching, pruning and watering the gardens and general house cleaning. We back onto tropical rainforest and creek. Help around the inside of property would also be helpful. You will have your own bedroom and own bathroom (1 queen for couples and 2 queens for singles). The fridge will be stocked for you to prepare your own breakfast and lunch and we all sit together for evening meals which I will prepare. There are many stunning waterfalls and walk...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

Hello, i would be happy for help. There is a lot to do on this place, mostly in the garden. Technical help, e.g. installation of solar panel, building a greenhouse, renovation of an old cattle house would also be needed. A carpenter and a bricklayer would be also great. We are vegetarian ! :-) We are a couple in our best age, and are here since 5 years. We want to build a small place for meditation and Qi Gong here. We want this to become a place for living and coming together. We would be happy to meet you.

We are a family of 4 starting an around-the-world voyage! We have been lucky enough to have been given guardianship of a 63' ocean-going catamaran called The Spirit of Gaia. It is an amazing boat, with a lot of room on deck, and it sails very well. We are looking for helpers who can be a part of our family on the ship (A love and understanding of children is a must). Our boys are ages 6 & 7. They love people and are very social. They have big imaginations and enjoy learning new things. We would love helpers who could possibly teach them cultural things like music, sports/athletics, cooking, dancing and languages (especially Spanish), though anyone interested in helping us teach them traditional academic subjects is welcome as well. We would prefer helpers who can stay at least 2 weeks. Most of the time the boat will be at anchor, though we will try very hard to go sailing at least once or twice while helpers are here (we want to see and visit different places too!) :) We wi...

Help Restore a Small Country House in Germany – Camper & Tent Friendly. We are looking for motivated, open-minded people who would like to help us renovate a small house on a beautiful 5,000m² property in Weinheim, located on the famous Baden Wine Route in southwest Germany. The property is a special place surrounded by nature. About half of the land is a protected natural area, while the other half is an orchard with fruit trees. A small stream runs through the property, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The location is ideal for nature lovers. A hiking area begins directly next to the property, and the surrounding region offers excellent cycling routes through vineyards, forests, and picturesque villages. It is incredibly quiet here, a perfect place to disconnect, enjoy nature, and slow down. At the same time, the city of Mannheim can be reached in about 25 minutes, offering shops, restaurants, culture, and nightlife. Our main project is the complete renovation of an ...

We are Said (36) from the Sahara and Linde (33) from the Netherlands. It is our pleasure to meet you here in Project Bani Hayoune Garden! Said comes from a big Amazigh-Tuareg family. After growing up in the Sahara desert and living many years a nomadic life, his family settled down in a village called Tagounite. Now Said lives next to the small village Beni Hayoun, 4 kilometers outside Tagounite. Here, we are working on recovering 200-year old adobe house. Behind the house there is a large garden which needs a lot of care and work. Our aim is to make the land green again, bring the oasis life back and to grow enough food for us and for the community. Linde is an artist from the Netherlands & Denmark and also co-founder of the project. Her past experience includes working in Waldorf kindergartens, creating workshops with children and families in a refugee center, and caring for people in homes for the disabled. While living in the project & house for most of the year, Linde helps in ...

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. Greetings We have a 1500 acre sheep and beef farm with accommodation businesses in the beautiful Catlins, with stunning views. Both Karl and I traveled so we know what it is like to be in a different country! Various outside jobs at the moment are Spring cleaning a cottage and our house, sorting out gardens, feeding a calf and planting. Wonderful views wherever you are on the farm and farmwork is a possibility depending on the time of year and your experience. You would be part of our family for your stay and stay in one of our kid's bedroom. If our son is home in the weekend, you will share the bathroom. We would like you to stay for 5-7 days We have nothing against vegetarians, but would prefer meat eaters. We ask you to work five hours daily and help with dinner. We have no children at home during the week, two cats, 6 dogs, and 5000 stock units (sheep and cows) on the farm. Cheers Karl and Melanie

We live in a nature sanctuary on Corfu island in Greece. we are a COMMUNITY of PLANTS, ANIMALS AND HUMAN BEINGS, who try to live together IN THE SPIRIT OF NATURE. we are organized similar to a zen monastery. yet we are not affiliated to any religious body, but to the holy body of our mother earth. the earth takes care of us. the earth gives to us what we need. she gives us and she for-gives us – she never asks for money… we admire the communities in nature (ecosystems), where all members balance their needs and gifts in a healthy way, without money, without machines and without chemicals. here in NATURE’S SANCTUARY we try to live in harmony with nature. we try to support and protect all our nature brothers and sisters, who share this sanctuary with us… it is a CHALLENGE TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE. it is a challenge to protect and support all nature beings in a way, that they have the chance to live in their own natural born communities. we are looking for people, who want to take...

We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). Accommodation would take form of a fully insulated cute tiny garden room with access to undercover cooking area and bathroom. IT is small so please See photos. On week days we are usually working in Perth so we cant provide meals, but a well-stocked supermarket is 200 metres away. When possible we can take turns for meals if possible. We average 2/3 hours a day painting, plumbing gardening and other repairs and can negotiate best time to do that, for example maybe it’s more convenient to do two longer days during the week.Greg is usually available to help you with your car or take you fishing, boating or sightseeing if you’re willing to free him up from his other commitments. When you email please let us know when you plan to get to Per...

Hello :) We are a small German family (Jens 55, Doreen 47 and Sam 8) who emigrated to Norway many years ago. We live on a farm here and now have 43 sheep. We need some help with tasks like cleaning out the stable and feeding them. In addition, there are always several tasks to be done on a farm, such as repairing or building fences, felling trees, sawing wood with a chainsaw or cross-cut saw, preparing winter wood and, if necessary, gardening work such as pulling weeds. You'll be staying in a camper van/caravan parked right next to our house. You'll be able to enter the house at any time and use the bathroom and our kitchen. The camper van, of course, has electricity and Wi-Fi. :)

We are currently looking for volunteers and assistants in our art lab, studio and summer camp activities. We have some cultural projects underway, with curation, programming, and management.

Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

Cheers Al

My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...
