Come and stay in beautiful Opito Bay 🌊🌿 Looking for a real Kiwi escape by the sea? We live in Opito Bay, in the beautiful Bay of Islands, just a few steps from the beach, surrounded by native bush, rocky coastline and peaceful nature. It is the kind of place where you can start your morning with a swim, take a kayak out in the afternoon, walk the dogs along the beach and, if you're lucky, spot a wild kiwi during an evening walk. We have two sea kayaks, two SUPs and a dinghy that you are welcome to use in your free time, and a beautiful coastal bush walk starts right next to our house. There is plenty to enjoy around the bay — swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, exploring the rock pools or simply slowing down and enjoying life by the sea. We are around 15 km from Kerikeri, so you can still easily head into town for cafés, shops and exploring the wider Bay of Islands, while coming home to somewhere peaceful and surrounded by nature. About us We are Gary and Loes, a re...

Stays of up to ONE WEEK - SUNDAY to SATURDAY are our preference but we may also consider longer stays so just ask. Our unique property, 'Raintrees Native and Rainforest Gardens' is located just one kilometre from DIAMOND BEACH at Hallidays Point on the NSW Mid North Coast. Diamond Beach, Shelly Beach, and Redhead are within easy walking distance from the property, but we'll drive you to Black Head Beach and several other quiet secluded beaches which are just a short 5-minute drive away. We are ceramic artists who live on our 1 hectare property about 20km inland from the beautiful Doubtless Bay area. We run our pottery business from home and look after our organic gardens, small orchard and numerous chickens. We have traveled widely ourselves and hosted travelers for over 10 years with another organisation, so are interested in HelpX for both the cultural exchanges and to be able to share our lifestyle with others while getting some help around the property. We are looking for enthusiastic helpers for help with things around the property such as gardening, wood collecting, cleaning, painting, general maintenance and other tasks depending on the season. In exchange for 4 hours work a day, 5 days a week we will provide you with all meals, but ask that you join in with the preparation, and accommodation in the funky little cabin with it's own veranda.  We will be happy to include you in our lifestyle, maybe you'll be there to go Friday night fishing on our yac...

Hello! Iwould be happy to have a person to help after the summer of 2026. This could be In October 2026, for a week or two. I hope to firm up dates soon. The property is situated outside the picturesque hill side village of Glossa, on the island of Skopelos. Which is part of the Sporades archipelago in the Northern Aegean . The first Mamma Mia Film was based here, so the Mamma Mia church is close by. Skopelos is one of the greenest islands and though it’s not a massive party island, there is plenty to do especially if you appreciate nature and island life. It offers a lot of possibilities to have outdoor experiences such as hiking, mountain biking, swimming, exploring beaches, running, Yoga etc. The island and area around is lovely, you can find beautiful beaches. The type of help I could do with is gardening, lots of painting and general maintenance , cleaning, cooking organizing around the property. I suggest a five hour helping day with your weekends off. For accommodati...

I live in the town of Wagga Wagga only minutes from the town centre that is accessible by walking or bus. I have been a Permaculture practitioner for 40 years and so I grow perennials including berries, apples, quince, herbs, quails on my little urban property. I have designed my place so I collect a lot of the water that falls on my land, I recycle and compost all organic waste and produce very little hard waste. I live here on my own mostly but sometimes my children are here. I am also a Yoga Instructor. If you come to stay and help me, I'd be happy for you to join my general classes at a Yoga Centre in town on Monday and Wednesday evenings. I also teach yoga at my home most weekday evenings and sometimes private classes in the daytime. I also have a small property just out of town. This is developed in to an allotment type garden where 14 people rent out small plots to do their own gardening. It's very new but going well and has a good vibe. This allotment garden is always in ne...

We are looking for helpers who can help for a minimum of two weeks, but helpers who can stay a bit longer are preferred. This really suits helpers who are keen to learn about farming and are interested in that. You will have your own separate, private, peaceful accommodation, with en-suite, washing machine and kitchen with beautiful views of rural land and Tasman Bay. At present we are likely looking at availability at the end of September. Wi-Fi, power and water included, plus food allowance. You must be physically strong, hard-working, practical and fit, with plenty of stamina - as well as not being afraid of getting your hands dirty. Beautiful hill country sheep and cattle farm, with views of the sea and mountains. You must enjoy working with animals, be kind, respect and care for them. There is plenty to do all year around and depends on the season. Currently we are lambing which is always a special experience. There are already a few pet lambs that will need feeding and ca...

We are looking for two people with building and practical experience with building or fencing, building steps, planting/gardening and who enjoy physical, mostly outdoor work. Our jobs require practical experience, or willingness to learn - gardening, cleaning, spraying, weed-eating, washing the house, windows etc. We don't currently have airbnb guests so you would get to stay in the luxury airbnb unless we get a booking, then you would either sleep in a sofa bed in the cabin or if you prefer your van and just use our shared spaces. We love hosting travelers and enjoy also getting jobs done on our list. With having 10 acres to care for, there is always something to do. Ideally you would have a vehicle as we do live rurally. We will give you food and accommodation in exchange for 4 hours of work. We love having first time helpers and help you map out your journey in the north or just help you get used to being in NZ. Chris loves playing games and we also have a hot tub. Mos...

This is a very healthy warm dry desert climate, where viruses do not thrive. At our farm here in the Coachella Valley, we grow 6 varieties of dates; Medjool, Barhi, Khadrawi, Khalas, Halawi & Zahidi. Tasks include irrigation, pruning, picking, fertilizing, pollination, clean-up, compost, trenching, house cleaning, road repair. We clean our soaking pools regularly and the farm could use the help of an electrician or skills with concrete, and also someone with adequate videography and editing skills and also automotive repair skills. The hot springs is located in a very remote setting in the Coachella Valley of the southern California desert about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Los Angeles, or 50 miles southeast of Palm Springs, just off highway 111, in the morning shadow of the Chocolate Mountains, overlooking the middle of the Salton Sea, with the warmest winter climate in the western U.S.A. No pets but plenty of wild creatures about; deer, bighorn sheep, owls, hawks, bobcats, coyotes, ...

Hello everyone!!! Namaste! This is an organic farm & retreat center located in the Himalayan foothills. We offer unique spiritual pilgrimages, organic food (as much as possible except when there are instances that we cannot produce our own), agricultural farming classes, tantra yoga, sound healing, Chandi mantra chanting & meditation courses. - I am Shree Krishna Shrestha, the owner of this lovely farm and I live here with my 57 year old wife, Sarita Shrestha and our 22 year old daughter who has recently returned back home from studying abroad. I also have two sons who live with their families about 30 minutes far in the town below our village. I have been doing silent meditation for about 5-6 years now and plan to do 4 more years during which I choose not to speak, communicate through text messages or signs, eat a vegetarian diet with no salt mainly consisting of our own cow milk, yogurt, roti/chapati and boiled potatoes. My family started this farm in 1991 with the dream of being o...

INTRODUCTION This is NOT a hostel, but a personal project aimed to become an educational & cultural spot in the neighborhood. It means, you will NOT work following a set of rules to make profits for a bussiness, but to participate with ideas/creativity/emotions/action to develop a social-aimed venture. Please, before introducing yourself, which is very nice, ask me if the days you apply are available to welcome you. Applications are accepted in order of arrival and mutual agreement :) BASIC BENEFITS - Wide garden, bedroom, living room, little kitchen. They all are simple. Any area is shared. - Breakfast will be provided by the host the work days. However, the lunch and dinner can be cooked in the kitchen by the guest/volunteer/friend. I am flexible to talk about these and other clauses. - You handle to organize your work hours/days. ADDITIONAL BENEFITS - Welcome cocktail or typical Peruvian meal. - Detailed advice on transport or interesting spots in the area or the country (I've...

Any help gratefully accepted for comfortable accommodation and food. Also need **House, Garden & Dog Sitter Wanted** 21st sept until 3rd oct when I go back to work. I'm looking for a trustworthy, caring individual or couple to look after my home, garden, and two small dogs while I'm away working. Tena koe, nau mai, haramai ki Tokomaru Bay, a small, predominately Maori seaside community on the East Coast. We live on a four acre lifestyle block in the peaceful Kaiawha Valley about a two minute drive from the village and the beach. There is a 4 Square Supermarket, a cafe and a tavern in the village. We have a room with a queen bed in a sleep out, with helpers own separate lounge/kitchenette. Access to washing machine. The bathroom is inside the main house located a few metres away. Most of the work we require is gardening, landscaping, milking cow, feeding animals, preserving food, servicing our Bed and Breakfast (List 1 Historic Places building) firewood, weed eating, mowing and general maintenance. Jan is a teacher and does some casual relieving and Bill works from home developing Te Reo Maori learning resources for our local tribe and teaches Te Reo Maori one day a week. (La description en français se trouve plus bas !) We are a small Buddhist community living in the forest close to Sainte-Julienne, Quebec. We have an organic fruit tree nursery, along with many other projects on our land: several fruit orchards, chickens and bees, growing our own vegetables and herbs and trying to be independent in many ways. The six people who are staying are: Ajan, Eric, Veronique, Elisabeth, Natalie and Camille. Each of us have arrived here one by one, at first just interested in helping out in the place, and then as we found that this lifestyle was for us, deciding to stay for longer. For part of the year we also have a couple of employees staying with us. There is also a wonderful dog named Dali. Our organic nursery and garden occupies a land of 9 hectares, surrounded by forest. As well as the main land of the nursery, we have another smaller land where a few of us live. This is, in fact, where the community started to grow from very small beginnings in the ear...

Hello, and thank you for looking at our page/profile! We are looking for a helper (1 person) during the summer (2026) for a 2 week period, maybe longer. Starting in June and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn. Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All these tasks we do together. Further work includes simple window washing, exterior window and door painting. Hi. We are a fun, friendly household in the sunny Bay of Plenty! I'm a Drama & English teacher and Blair is an electrician. My husband and I have 2 fun, adventurous girls, we also have a dog and cat. We enjoy biking, baking, board games and picnics at the beach, amongst other things. We would love to host people who are honest, friendly, independent, hard-workers and are interested in meeting new people and enjoying what Tauranga has to offer. In exchange for 4 hours work per day, you will receive free accommodation, breakfast and dinner(please provide your own lunch and snacks) and wifi. Work includes domestic-type chores; mainly cleaning, cooking and possibly baby-sitting - helps if you like children and animals. We have a cat and golden retriever. It is definitely easier if you have a car, although buses are available from here. We had a homestay from China for a year who found their way round on the buses fine but it does take a while. Happy for any amount of time e.g. 1 or 2 w...

My partner and I own a 40 acre lifestyle farm in remote Central Otago about 35 minutes from Alexandra, 1.5h from Queenstown and Wanaka. The little settlement is very beautiful and reflects the history of the area. We have 4 horses, 4 donkeys and a few cows as well as a dog. We can accommodate up to 2 people and are looking for some help with weed control/gardening and a bit of building where required. We’re renovating an old cottage so if you have building or carpentry skills that’s a bonus. Of course there will be some fun and horse riding will be part of the exchange to! We preferred length of stay is a week or more but we’re pretty flexible on this. Cheers Jamie and Thomas

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start mid-November and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We operate a small husband and wife online plant nursery and in our free time we enjoy taking a wwoofer or 2 out on regular boating trips catching barramundi and reef fish, crocodile spotting, fishing and exploring the islands, snorkeling around the Great Barrier Reef and Whale and Dolphin spotting, ... so we would prefer folks that have an interest in boating/fishing and happy to tie their own fishing knots and set the anchor and dont get sea-sick....The more enthusiastic you are to help preparing the boats and cleaning up after the trips the more enthusiastic we are to take you out.... and the boating when the weather suits is a reward for your hard work in helping us out....we prefer to host people for 2 weeks or longer and this will give the best chance of getting the full experience as well as making a meaningful contribution to our lives and property.. During september we would particularly love to host one or 2 people to help out around the garden, plant nursery and farm/orchar...

Hello, I’m David! I have sold my coffee shop after 45 years in the hospitality trade, where travelling workers would once work, however I STILL offer helpers the same excellent own room lodging as homestay & great food in exchange for a little light work and some social contact. I live close the train station and bus stop and am a 30 min trip by train to Melbourne City. There is a vehicle to drive locally if are appropriately licensed. You are welcome to use it. I go to the outback in western New South Wales about 3 times a year for the purpose of experiencing the beautiful "timeless land" of Australia and to legally hunt feral animals which endanger our wildlife. I often take workers to the outback so they can have a taste of the real Australia and I can assure that none of the numerous helpers/woofers I have taken over a many year period did not thoroughly enjoy it. . However the choice is theirs whether they accompany myself or whether they stay and "mind the house" I also oft...

Many of our guests like to walk back from Black Head Beach along the beach to our property. We'll also show you around Forster-Tuncurry, Taree, Harrington, and Crowdy Head and when possible, even as far north as Port Macquarie and south as far as Pacific Palms and Seal Rocks. Diamond Beach is located centrally in one of the most scenically beautiful (Average Temperature 26 Degrees Celsius) regions of Australia with the Myall Lakes, Smith Lake, Seal Rocks, and Pacific Palms one hour to the south and Lau...

1 or 2 w...

Hi, I am Tika. I am a teacher at the local government secondary school in Maipokhari village. I am living with my family in Sandakpur-3, Maipatal village in the Ilam district. There are 4 family members in our family. Me, my wife (dika), son (suman) and a daughter (sudha). The village is located around 600km from Kathmandu with an altitude of 2225 mt. The Ilam district is famous for its tea farms. We have our own organic farm, with fruit & herbal plants and a nursery consisting mainly of kiwi plants. We have also two cows. We are growing kiwi, black tea, ground apples, chickpeas, cucumber and beans. Volunteers are warmly welcomed to my farm as well as my family. You can experience rural life in the east of Nepal and you can get a true sense of local rural life. Our village and its surroundings are quite green and it's known as the greenest district of Nepal as well as the tea paradise. If you like, you can do many activities here. Experience your pleasant stay within the clouds at ou...

*** Welcoming helpxer/s now :-) *** Nestled in the beautiful Southern Alps is the historic settlement of Cass (approx half way between Christchurch and Greymouth). I am offering private accommodation, (separate from the house with own bathroom) and all groceries/meals in exchange for odd jobs - painting, gardening and lawn mowing. There is plenty to do in the area including fishing on many of the nearby high country lakes (1.6km spectacular walk to Lake Sarah) day walks/ tramping in Arthurs Pass National Park and Craigieburn forest Park, skiing on one of the 5 local ski fields, four wheel driving, Scree jumping (down Sugar Loaf). A short drive to Cave stream scenic reserve (one of the south Islands best free activities) and Castle Hill natural rock climbing park (where scenes from Lord of the Rings and Narnia were filmed). Other nearby facilities are The Bealey Hotel (10mins) and Arthurs Pass 20mins. In exchange I would like four hours work per day. Cass can be reached by car...

At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in return for their generous servic...
