***************************************************************************Scammers do NOT contact me************************************************************************************************* Hello fellow HelpXer's, I'm Ant, Thank you for viewing my listing. I can welcome mature non smokers, from age 30 onwards. I live a few miles outside Ennniscorthy town, Co.Wexford and there I keep bees as a hobby. My place is a house on some land. It is not a farm or business. Therefore I cannot host any internship students who request to stay for several months. If you like to be outdoors, this is the best time of year. I can host 1 person for maximum 2 weeks at the moment, as my employment schedule allows. During my time off work, I am restoring a camper which it is taking all of my free time. So I particularly welcome anyone who loves to cook! Stopping work outdoors, during our very short, non-raining weather season in order to make meals seems to have become a major inconvenience ;...

We are originally a family of 6, I, Carina, my four daughters and my husband, Pär. Since last year all girls have, more or less, left home for further studies. My beloved Pär died 2018 after a long time with sickness. We started to welcome HelpXers to our Uddevalla home 2014 and since then we have met so many interesting, wonderful, helpful, caring and skilled people - men and women, boys and girls, who in different ways have helped us with various practical matters, but also contributed to increase our understanding of the world and letting us become their friends - in many cases, I believe, for life! I have promised Pär to keep and care for his old home in Grundsund and it is my hope to be able to. We have, therefore, two properties to welcome you to! We offer accommodation (your own room) in one of our two homes, food and friendship in exchange for some practical help. Both indoor and outdoor help is needed and you should be prepared to do some household work as well. Most help ...

We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. If you have something you are passionate about and want to share with others, we would love for you to run a workshop. One of the best things here is the variety of tasks you can do as a volunteer, which gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and discover what you enjoy doing most. We have a combination of short-term and long-term volunteers and on average we have between 10 to 20 volunteers and resident...

Hello friends, we are Sadí and Jacqi a couple from Perú and Germany. We live here with our little daughter Sami and Sadis brother Leo who has joined our project about a year ago. After several years of traveling, volunteering, helping out and learning in many beautiful projects & communities, we have settled down in the rainforest of Perú and are now happy to be able to receive volunteers ourselves :) About 3 three years ago, we bought this piece of land which includes about 56 hectares, in the region of Ucayali The area has suffered a lot from deforestation by the coca leaf production and cattle industry which left the soil very depleted due to the intense use of chemicals. the forests need our support (cutting vines preventing trees from growing, opening up the water ways of the rivers that are blocked by wood, vines and much more...) to be able to recover strongly and healthily. Our vision for this place is to help the local ecosystem to recover its natural balance, establish ...

Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

We are Greg and Claire, parents of a 15-month-old baby girl and a very active 10-year-old son. We are non-owner stewards of land that has a long history as a communal farm, held by the Renaissance Charitable Trust since 1977. Our work here is currently focused on forming intentional community, improving accommodation, and restoring the farm that has been let go for many years. All the labour and love that is given to this farm goes towards paying forward the gifts, knowledge, and generosity received from those who came before us and hopefully helping the intentional community become a lively thriving and truly special place. The Community Vision: We are here to create a cooperative way of life that interweaves people with land and one another. By regenerating a small, diverse, and long-neglected farm and by transforming our relationships with ourselves, others, and the land. We aspire to create deeply fulfilling lives for ourselves and a thriving, resilient community that can inspire ...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

We are set on 11 acres of beautiful land with wonderful views over the waters of the Manukau Harbour and with direct access to an expansive beach reserve. At the heart of the light filled house is a meditation room filled with musical instruments and opening onto an expansive lawn which is the setting for outdoor living and communal gatherings. These include occasional house concerts, seasonal celebrations and co creative musical sessions where we can experience our spiritual interconnectedness with Nature and one another. Help is needed in the house and on the land with tasks that include maintaining gardens and fruit trees, cutting grass, clearing weeds, making compost and cutting wood. I welcome people who love Nature and who can work with focus and commitment. In exchange for 24 hours work a week I offer a comfortable room , delicious and wholesome vegetarian meals, access to beaches and bush walks and the possibility that new doors will open for you.

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. We are looking for helpers from the 27th July and have space for one or two people. We have three small cabins, two with double beds and one with a single bed so room for up to five helpers normally but only room for two at the moment as we have another couple staying. All the helpers share a kitchen and bathroom. From now end of June we need help with some building work so preference will be given to people who already have some skills with tools.. We are a great place to start or end your time in New Zealand as we are only 45 minutes drive from Auckland airport. The work will be varied and interesting but usually building and garden based. It could include finishing off an underground earth bag hobbit hole. We have a passion for earth building and organic gardening. Its good if you are over the age of 20, are self motivated and can work unsupervised. We are located on Auckland's beautiful West Coast only 40mins drive from Auckland central city. Summer openings for some of August Wow, exploring right outside our backdoor along side the Campbell River on Vancouver Island, is a beautiful place to experience Vancouver Island`s great outdoors this SUMMER with all the wild life right in our back yard :) Although we live on a one acre town lot, our back yard is situated on a cliff over looking an accessible beautiful heritage river, with a nature park setting of ferns, Douglas fir, maple and alder trees. You can often see deer, raccoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the river’s pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. As well, our neighborhood is the access point to many scenic nature hiking, walking and biking trails. The ocean photo was taken a couple of miles from my home and all other photos...

Hello, my partner John & I, have had a wonderful time sharing our home with volunteers. We now have a vacancy from August 11th. Short or longer stays are welcome. We usually have 2 volunteers staying with us, each with their own bedroom. Volunteers can cover each others time off & share the tasks. We usually take volunteers out to places of interest, on a Saturday. We live as a family & enjoy many things together, with our volunteers, many of whom have become lasting friends. We live in a 4 bed modern dormer bungalow, in a beautiful village, with a shop & bus stop 3 minutes walk from the house. We live with my father, who is 89 years old and has moderate memory loss. My father is calm & relaxed. My father does like to have volunteers there, to watch television with him, so that he’s not alone & he enjoys helping volunteers improve their English pronunciation. Volunteers are also welcome to work on their laptops, while sitting with my father, he’s used to that & still en...

This is only the second school in Nagarkot, nice Nepalese village in Bhaktapur district; a 1.5 hrs bus ride from Kathmandu. It hopes to provide an English medium education for underprivileged children. The school has 7 staff members taking care of its 80+ students - aged from 4 to 12 years old - and would benefit from any help volunteers can provide. Volunteers can expect to as class helpers and also share teaching tips with the school if they can. Volunteers can also help beautify the classrooms murals to help the kids as visual aids during their school time. Becoming an independent class teacher is also an option for long-term volunteers as soon as they have a grasp on the school's curriculum and vision for students. Two bicycles and high speed WiFi is available. We have two dogs and two cats. We are located one hour north of Toronto - accessible by Go Transit to Newmarket, where we will pick you up. Permaculture project with idea and space to create an eco-village. The quinta is located in Alto Alentejo 2km from Portalegre. 15 hectares with magical forests and a beautiful valley provided by seventeen sources and several mines with healthy water where too people live permanently for the moment,Isabel, a communication manager and Michel, a carpenter who is the founder of the project. There is also one dog, five cats, for chickens and six sheep. The project is now in the phase when it’s open so that more people can live here. Because parts of the ruins are ready for occupancy, there is space for people who want to stay longer, which can bring new and stronger dynamics throughout the year, not like before, when there was only a lot going on in the summer months. So far there is already a beautiful gardens going on and numerous species of plants, shrubs and trees which deliver us plenty of food. We are happy when someone shows enthusiasm for the garden because this is a central part...

Helpers needed in August until November Come and help us with self-sufficiency and homesteading, on our small family farm in the heart of Hardanger! ABOUT US We have a small flock of sheep, apple and plum orchards, a kitchen garden and some rough grazing land and woodland, where we cut our own firewood. Our primary objectives are self-sufficiency and regenerative resilience. Olav works away periodically, Rebecca studies part-time and is frequently busy with our many children. Our little farm is very close to the village of Øystese, the Hardangerfjord, surrounding mountains and the Folgefonna glacier. Bergen is a 1 hr 45 min bus ride away; Voss is about the same distance and similarly accessible. We grow our vegetables and trees, and raise our sheep organically. We want to keep our soil healthy and increase biodiversity, whilst securing our collective and family’s food supply in an uncertain future. We’d love to share this journey with motivated, helpful volunteers, keen to learn ...

In 2005, my husband Terje and I, became the proud owners of this place and we spent the next 15 years renovating the property. Today we offer short-term accommodation in this historical building. Guests come to visit from all over the world. They come to Odda and the Hardanger area to experience and explore our unique landscape with glaziers, fjords, mountains, waterfalls, valleys and lakes. Hiking to Trolltunga is undoubtedly the most popular of the tourist attractions offered here in Odda. Other less famous attractions are just as breath-taking. We are a family of seven, with four daughters and a foster son, but our three eldest daughters have recently moved out to work and study. We would be most grateful if you would like to come and live with us, and help us with the housekeeping; cleaning, change of bedlinen, reception work, payments, as well as maintenance, carpentry, painting, gardening, childcare, pet care, and other activities like going fishing and having fun. We have many different animals, including horses, goats and sheep. We have 2 children, one is 15 and the other is 23. Our helpers are most welcome to involve themselves with the family in outdoor activities and trips.

There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, jewellery making, or take some self defence lessons we could be a great match.

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina.

Odda and H...

Beautiful 30 acre lifestyle block situated 25 minutes North West from Central Auckland. The closest small town is just 2kms away, and we are centrally located to many local wineries, the closest being The Hunting Lodge which is 1km away. We are looking for motivated, practical people to help with painting, gardening, house cleaning and general outdoor activities. If you have experience with horses that would be a great advantage. We have many different animals, including horses, goats and sheep. We have 2 children, one is 15 and the other is 23. Our helpers are most welcome to involve themselves with the family in outdoor activities and trips.

Sorry folks, we are now fully booked until the beginning of April 2027. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, jewellery making, or take some self defence lessons we could be a great match. Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. It is surrounded scraggy mountains and long valley walks. It is perfect for hiking or just relaxing in the sun with a good book. Within easy traveling distance for those interested in exploring this culturally rich island, is the seaside town of Cefalù or even the main capital city of Palermo, both are easily accessible by bus and train from the local town. We work daily on various homesteadin...
