Would like to learn and look after a vineyard and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature applicants are now open. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is not raining or too hot. Be prepared to...

We are currently looking for a helper from mid August until mid September 🤩 Do you like to be part of a family and not 'just' a helper? We are looking for our next 'big brother/sister' to join us on our little farm zoo.... We are looking for a person or two to help us out in our family and on our wee farm. We need help mostly to look after the children before and after school (7-9am and 3-6pm) and feed our animals. You could stay in our cabin as well as get full board. We are a young and active Swiss-Kiwi family with three young children ranging from nearly 9 years old to14 years old, living on a lifestyle farm in the town of Oxford (45 min away from Christchurch airport). We have all kinds of animals (chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, calves, goats...) longing for attention as well as a garden and a big household appreciating support. This property is a small horse stud, as well as a small farm. Tasks for helpers will be dependent on the time of year/preferences and include ...

We are in the hills 1 hour from Perth CBD in a small rural farming community. Our place includes the small town's original Post office (1914) which has a reputation of being the smallest post office in Australia, this is now used as your cosy air-conditioned guest room with a sofa bed. Complete the rustic aussie experience with an outside toilet. NO local transport. You MUST have your own car. Meals and showering (and another toilet) is in our main house. We have a winter creek at the back set in bushland, musical instruments (piano, guitar, ukuleles). Room for vehicles. Singles, couples welcome. We seek helpers for general yard maintenance, gardening to establish veggie beds, weeding, sweeping, cleaning, painting and household chores. You will need to keep your areas clean and tidy. Two hours work is required each day for accomodation, four hours if including meals. We sometimes like to work more on one day and then have a couple of days free. If its very hot we prefer to work e...

Our Ecovillage (established1999) is looking towards a creative and fun season of committed volunteers who wish to work within a collective project opportunity. We are working on the next 25yr Vision and with this are building a very large public art installation project (earthen/cob Dragon sculpture with lots of mosaic work!). Our 'regenerative living learning journey' forms the platform for the efforts we put towards making a difference in the world. We work within intercultural/intergenerational/interfaith/inter-nation restorative justice framework on our farm and work with research teams on soil/wastewater/energy systems design/etc, and permaculture education projects with learners from local to global! This means we are working with: the gardens, livestock/poultry, food forests, natural building (earthen, strawbale, plaster projects, finishing work, carpentry, etc), food preservation, yummy kitchen crafting for shared meals, mosaic and mural artwork, supporting Eco-tourism &...

We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

Enjoy the privacy of a self contained Cabin with unlimited WIFI and TV on a separate driveway set on a dry stock (beef) farm less than one hour from Auckland city. By car it less than one hour North of Auckland’s Harbour Bridge. And if you have your own transport the East Coast beaches are nearby. Over 25 years, there has been extensive landscaping and we are able to grow many subtropicals. With mild winters, there is always plenty of garden maintenance to do. Currently, we are refreshing gardens at the entrance and around the Farmhouse driveway and other shrubberies. If gardening and being outdoor appeals, please get in touch. All food is provided and in return we ask for five-six hours during the week. You will need to be physically fit and strong (using a wheelbarrow for mulch and using a weedeater etc). The Cabin can comfortably accommodate up to two singles on a twin share basis.

We milk 70 cows, and 600 goats and work about 400 acres. Now that I have full time staff doing the majority of the milking and barn work, the work is mostly in the workshop and the fields. We always have an interesting project on the go so I particularly enjoy hosting helpers with engineering or mechanical backgrounds.. I enjoy inventing things and automation, with a well equipped (though somewhat disorganized) workshop. Planning to clear some land this summer so someone with heavy equipment experience would be great. Have a barn renovation and equipment installation coming up, so give me a shout if you’re a carpenter or mechanic! Have been hosting engineering students for their internship abroad the last few summers, has been a great experience, they are always welcome. About me (Josef), I was born in Switzerland and am fluent in Swiss German, I am learning Spanish and have a very limited understanding of French. I have travelled a bit myself, doing two harvest tours in the west...

We've lived overseas for many years, including time in South America, Asia and the Middle East, and returned 15 years ago to start our 'off grid adventure'. Having 'internationalized' it's been time to put some roots down (literally) in a sustainable, creative and co-evolutionary way. These days we're a family of four (kids aged 13 and 10) with 3 dogs/chickens/guinea pigs. We speak some Spanish and a little Japanese and would receive foreigners eagerly (also fellow NZers of course). We're one hour's drive from the nearest towns (Kaitaia and Kerikeri) although a small organic co-op is twenty-five minutes away. Neighbours include a Bee-Keeper and his family, artists, potters and homesteaders, some of whom are open to receiving helpers who may wish to spend more time in the area. People wishing to learn about setting up off-grid so that they can do so themselves would be able to pick up valuable skills at our place. Helpers stay in either a fifteen by eight foot caravan with solar power...

WELCOME TO PARADISE GLENORCHY! We are a busy couple working full time and needing help with our property. Based in the spot chosen by the original settling family in the area, we have a really well established garden that needs taming and some quirky buildings that need some TLC. Looking for hardy gardeners, handy DIYers and folks who are keen to just generally get stuck in. We have a great retro caravan, sleep out, outdoor kitchen and bathroom set up that's screaming out for someone, two friends or a couple to bring it to life. At this stage we a only provide breakfast, but could do lunch in some situations. We have heaps of freezer space and suggest you stock up on a few dinners, and drinks in Queenstown before you get here as the local shops are a bit pricey. Spark phone signal is limited to the end of the drive, OneNz works just fine. - free internet available. We recommend helpers have there own wheels, as we're 5km outside of Glenorchy. There is however a bike you can use if ...

Hi! We are a young couple, 25 and 26 years old, living on a sheep farm in the beautiful Reykhólasveit area in Westfjords Iceland. We have 450 sheep, 3 dogs, and 3 cats. We also take care of an eider duck colony. During the summer, the colony needs to be checked twice, and the eiderdown has to be collected, weighed, and taken for cleaning. A typical winter day involves feeding the sheep and making sure everything is running smoothly. There are always plenty of tasks to be done, both planned and unexpected. Spring is lambing season, which means we're on call 24/7. Tasks include monitoring the sheep, assisting with births when needed, cleaning, bottle-feeding lambs, tagging them, and eventually turning them out to pasture. You don't need to know how to do everything—we're happy to teach. What matters most is a genuine interest and a willingness to learn. Summer is haymaking season, along with a variety of general farm tasks and maintenance work. In the fall, the sheep are gathered fr...

Hi, I am looking for one or two helpers. Luna is a well presented, blue water cruising yacht, at present in Airlie Beach I am undertaking completing work to finish a refit started last year to ready her for extended cruising, overseas. I live aboard the yacht, so the accommodation is onboard. Accommodation comprises of a forward double cabin, with its own bathroom. Work is varied cleaning, polishing, sewing, etc. Some mechanical work, needing an extra pair of hands. I would expect guests to help me for 4-5 hours per day. Weekends off, I would hope. In return for meals and accommodation. I enjoy sailing, fishing, diving, and bush walking, and showing of the beauty of the Queensland coast. Weather providing. Luna is now back on the water and is based in Airlie at present. Still, plenty to work on going. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Tim

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. We are a family of 5 living in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Sue is the founder of this place. Her daughter Ruth moved to the Hollow later as well as her husband Tim and their 2 daughters. Our hollow is quite with no neighbors in sight. There are no city lights, and you can see every star on a clear night! Our homestead consists of Sue's workshop/cabin, Tim & Ruth's cabin and one very small guest cabin. Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. . We have a lot you can be involved in, knowledge to share, friendships to build, and opportunities for growth. Below are our routines and some projects. We would love to involve you! - Caring for our honey bees, chickens, cats...

Our property is a lifestyle block nestled into a very picturesque valley near the Kaweka Mountain range, approximately 50 km from both Hastings and Napier. Our land includes a home orchard, large garden full of bird song and the remaining acres for grazing for our 9 horses, small herd of miniature Galloway cattle, 10 sheep, 1 donkey, ducks, chooks, guinea fowl and pheasants. We also have a very friendly and energetic dog Merlot and a large black cat called Nalo. The help we need is mostly outdoors, but there are always indoor options in wet weather. We would expect 4 - 6 hours help per day for free board and all meals. We are totally flexible on the hours, 8 hours one day for the next day off is fine. Given we are out of town sightseeing on a day off is an option. Having your own transport is not 'a must', we are often in and out of both Hastings and Napier, but it will give you independence and more options for exploring in your free time. You will not need specific experience or ...

We have an automotive country workshop where we fix and service cars, 4WDs, trailers, tractors and all sorts of machinery. In our spare time we look after our little farm, some sheep, some cattle and rabbits. We also have a forest where we work and tidy up occasionally. So we are always in need of a couple of helpful hands to support us. We love to get to know different cultures and people. We grow our own meat, fruit and vegetables. Gustav also brews his own beer and makes wine and cider and lately also green tea. A mature, non-smoking, self-organized person, preferable not a vegetarian, to give us a hand with house and land, would fit best into our lifestyle. You will have to join into our daily routines: breakfast is at around 7am and then we feed all the animals, especially the hungry dogs and work starts at 8am. We need to get everyone organized before customers arrive in the workshop. We expect about 4 hours work per day and we offer a nice room with a lovely warm bed, gr...

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

I have a Traditional farmhouse situated close to the Seaport village of Kinvara, County Galway, Ireland. I am very fortunate to have inherited the family farm and work closely with the animals. I have Suckler Cows, a Bull and a Border Collie dog.I grow organic vegetables for myself, family and friends. Because the holding is relatively small, I also grow Oysters and enjoy the husbandry. As a hobby I like to thatch. I thatched my own house many years ago and now I repair roofs for friends. My hobbies: I love nature and like to go to "The Burren" hills close by and Connemara hiking. I have one request that guests would have their own insurance. Thank you.

We’re looking for helpers that will fit in with us and our two friendly dogs. Our property looks over the Mahurangi Harbour. It is a 5 minute walk to Scotts Landing beach and a 10 minute drive to other beautiful beaches. Matakana Village, Omaha beach and Goat Island are also very close. We have a beautiful established garden and are looking for experienced helpers in general gardening duties but also to muck in and clean out wood etc from basement and garage. We are looking to have 4-5 hours a day of help with Sundays off. We live in a small community hence no working Sunday's to respect our neighbours. Helpers will need their own transport as we live a wee way from a bus station.

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...

Hi, it's Stephen and Philamae here. We have a beautiful rural property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely and we are running it as holiday accommodation as we move towards turning it into a funky retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer. A pair of the endangered and majestic wedge-tailed eagles live 1km away and often soar above us. My website link below has a lot more photos of our place. We have a series of 7 wellness retreats running 5 June to end August: see our blog link below. The next specific needs are: a) 17 August onwards - Mostly cleaning and bedrooms resetting, & some gardening. Generally we like stays of 4+ weeks but in this case we'd also be happy to host for a short time if preferred but we want somebody to cover at minimum between 17 Augus...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing, and energizing our own water though Ionisation. Water conservation is part of life for me. You can come to Maryborough via plane, bus or train. The Hervey Bay Airport is only 30min from my home. There are meanwhile several bus companies to choose from. If you use the train please book Maryborough town from the drop down menu. The shuttle bus from the train station in Maryborough west (20 min out of town) is free of charge if it is pre-booked. As international travelers you qualify for a concession card on Queensland trai...

We're always looking for assistance in property maintenance in the fields and on our private bike park. We also quite often are on the lookout for those who have experience in web content and photo and video editing to help update our websites. Please read!! 😀 We have a peaceful, rural lifestyle block with a number of heritage chickens and a cat and dog. Our residence is a scenic 20-minute drive out of Nelson. For this reason, having your own transport is ideal (but not a deal breaker!). We offer rooms and/or studio accommodation and food / meals to hard-working folks happy to help out with various projects around the property, including gardening, landscaping, building and improving our mountain bike and jump track, mowing, weed whacking, eliminating weeds, some house cleaning, cutting fire wood, and other non-technical chores. The majority of our tasks suit physically fit individuals who enjoy working outdoors. Weekly required hours of work is 27.5 hours. We are flexible about...

My property is 10 hectares on the West Coast of the South Island, which starts at the coast with sand beach and sunsets and heads inland 1km through native wetlands and forest.

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. .

Thank you.

We are still searching for HelpX for the upcoming NSW school holidays from as soon as possible until Sunday 20th July 2026. Some of this time we plan to be away, so it would involve looking after our animals then, including our friendly dog :) I can provide HelpX exchange, nice indoor accommodation in a light filled room with a Queen bed, a weekly yoga class, English conversation and organic meals in exchange for 5 hours HelpX per day x 5 days per week. This includes a variety of tasks with 2-3 hours project work of your interest each weekday Mon - Thursday and Friday being cleaning day. Flexible timing as to when your hours are volunteered and have the weekends off to explore the beautiful area! My family moved to a riverside farm property several years ago. We live here with our rescue dog, chickens, geese, ducks and elderly cat! We are in the beginning stages of planning and implementing a small productive permaculture fruit, vegetable, tea and flower farm based upon a mix of ...
