Hello! Our names are Stein and Thamy. And this is our fourth year of hosting on various different platforms. We allready hosted 32 people from 14 different countries. And we love to have more! Together with our little daughter Otte we live in a little village called Elst, in the flemish ardennes (do not confuse with the ardennes in the french speaking part of Belgium). We are located in a beautiful area, with lots of nature to go for walks (or bike! Our regions quite known for a big racing bike competition, de ronde van Vlaanderen). We share our adventures on instagram, see link below. In September 2021 we bought a little house with a big yard. The house was run down, with no running water or kitchen and a big yard full of nettles and brambles higher then Stein, he's height is 1.95m! We fell in love with the view and the possibilities of one day making a food forest! The first few months we emptied the house and the shed, cut down a lot of trees (too old, too high and close to the...

This is a vibrant psychedelic retreat center located in a beautiful old Arabic house, just two minutes from the beach and near the mountains. It operates as a community-funded space, supported by contributions from its members. Our main focus is on psychedelic retreats, along with a range of other offerings, including yoga days, cacao ceremonies, and various plant medicine ceremonies (San Pedro, Ayahuasca, Mushrooms, Sacred Tobacco). As an active and dynamic community, we take on multiple projects, from recycling food waste and preparing San Pedro, to organizing events, creating art, and managing design and marketing tasks. We also make time to enjoy life, with activities like yoga, meditation, music, volleyball, and attending concerts. We're always on the lookout for new members who bring skills as artists, musicians, yoga practitioners/teachers, plant medicine workers, psychologists, chefs, or those comfortable guiding holistic practices. To join, you need to fit one of these roles...

* Summer 2026. Bed and Breakfast - Bio/Organic Vineyard. Dave & Brandy (my dog). Vineyard & Small Bed & Breakfast with two (2) rooms for guests. * Help always needed also at the Swiss Tattoo Museum. Dave loves to cook and the BnB thrives on his cooking skills, website reviews and best of all word of mouth! Also known as "Dave Cuvee" to guests and social friends, creating quality, delicious meals with love and passion is my destination. Most helpers leave here with extra kg, I am not talking about extra carry luggage ;-) Brandy is a female Hungarian Vizsla born October 2013. She is in training to search for truffles in the local forests. Brandy is a middle size dog weighing ca. 19kg and is very active. She is very intelligent, playful and uber friendly to everyone she has contact with. Brandy is being trained and fed by Dave, but she requires walks and exercise when Dave is at work. You should be a very dog friendly person. Dave speaks fluent English and Swiss German (20+ years...

We live on a small hill farm in the beautiful county Wicklow known as the garden of Ireland. We are a family of four. Becky and Kilian and our daughters Zoe (11) and Bea (8). Fiona (18) is also staying with us this year as an au-pair. We are quite remote so it is very serene and peaceful and the view is amazing. We speak English and German as well as French. We farm organically and have 15 free range organic pigs as well as 2 horses and 5 cats. We also have a poly tunnel and farm garden where we grow vegetables for our own use. Becky works from home and Kilian when he is not farming, has an additional part time job which calls him away on projects from time to time. We live 1km outside a little village called Redcross. It has a pub that brews its own beers and there is also a restaurant, snack bar and shop. We are 20 minutes to drive from a town called Arklow which is on the sea and there is normally a chance to get a lift in but it’s only a 1 hour cycle. Wicklow is a cool part of t...

Hi, I'm Steve, I am a retired old fart at 65 and live alone, except for regular travelers I host. I live close the Strand (Beach) in Townsville in a 2 bedroom unit. I can offer you a king size bed in your own room. I used to be an active couchsurfing host but have given that away as i don't like the changes they have made to the way they operate now, nor the quality of surfers. I'm pretty open minded and I don't judge people. There is no work required here, just help keep the place clean and tidy. I prefer to share the evening meals as though it is your own home. I don't operate my home as a hostel and I am used to having people in my home, and it's a fairly relaxed environment. Basically I would just like you to come into my home and be a part of it and don't shit on the floor. The last few Helpers have become flatmates after a couple of weeks. The current helper has been here for 6 months and starts travelling very soon. The one before her was here 2 years. I am looking for a suita...

We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). Accommodation would take form of a fully insulated cute tiny garden room with access to undercover cooking area and bathroom. IT is small so please See photos. On week days we are usually working in Perth so we cant provide meals, but a well-stocked supermarket is 200 metres away. When possible we can take turns for meals if possible. We average 2/3 hours a day painting, plumbing gardening and other repairs and can negotiate best time to do that, for example maybe it’s more convenient to do two longer days during the week.Greg is usually available to help you with your car or take you fishing, boating or sightseeing if you’re willing to free him up from his other commitments. When you email please let us know when you plan to get to Per...

Hi there ! 🏡 About the place: In 2025, I bought a few old houses and land in a previously more or less abandoned village in the Italian Alps, Piedmont, in between Domodossola and Lago Maggiore. The village is located in a natural and peaceful environment in the heart of the mountains. The moment I came here, I fell in love with the peaceful energy. The land is very large, there are many trees and my dream of having a veggie and flower garden and maybe some animals. The house isn't finished yet, it’s in old condition style with electricity. Here with friends we are renovating a lovely typical stone house abandoned for years, to which we are giving a new life, using sustainable and traditional building techniques. Apart from the renovation itself, we want to create a friendly community that brings people here. We are always happy to welcome anyone who could help, share knowledge and/or want to learn from others. We are looking for open-minded people who are interested in rural life, su...

Hi! We are Vero and Theresa and we live together on the farm with our horses, dogs, cats and hopefully soon also with chickens. We try to live as close as possible with nature and are looking forward to welcome open hearted people that like to be surrounded by animals and care about them. We can offer accommodation and food. Sustainability is a very important issue for us, we buy mainly seasonal, regional and biological food and produce a few things by ourselves (jam, bread...). We cook only vegetarian, often vegan as well! You will live with us in a nice, old, simple farmhouse. You will share a large loft with other helpers. It’s a common room and the beds are separated with paravans. We will share the bathroom and kitchen. We are thankful with your help around the animals (cleaning, feeding, well care), around the farm (sweeping, repairing, maintenance), garden/ fields (water the vegetables, cut trees, collect fruits, helping with gardening in general), in the house (cleaning, coo...

Hello. I’m Paolo, a recently retired musician. I live in a mountain area made of rounded, wooded peaks in the inland of the Italian Riviera, at the point of connection between two regions, Tuscany and Liguria, widely renown for art towns (Pisa, Lucca, Florence among others) and picturesque fishing villages. It’s a quiet setting to get away from it all, with a 360 degree view stretching for tens of miles and right down to the Mediterranean Sea, only 25 km/15 miles away. Here is where the Alta Via (High Route of the Ligurian Mountains) starts, a long-distance waymarked hiking trail for nature lovers. I speak Italian (native), English (fluent) and French (fluent). I’m looking for volunteers who are self-motivated and good with their hands, willing to help me with general maintenance around my property in exchange for food and lodging in a friendly environment. I appreciate a baggage of life experience that is not too small, so volunteers in their mid to late twenties at least and in t...

WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS FROM MID OCTOBER TO NOVEMBER. We are a family of four and have small farm at the coast of the Baltic sea close to Oskarshamn. The farmhouse is more than a hundred years old and is located just a few meters away from a lake, which we can use exclusively for fishing, swimming and anything else. A good work-life-balance is very important for us, and this is also what we have in mind for our helpers. It's not only working here, we also want to show our helpers the laid back Swedish lifestyle here at the Eastern coast. Both sides should feel that they did benefit from your stay at our place. Hein: I was born in the north of Germany, and my profession as a carpenter has a very important role in the realization of our dream life. I’ve always felt at home out in nature, fishing, sailing or mushroom picking,. I like to work in the garden and cultivate home-grown fruits and vegetables. Hi! I'm Tonje and I moved to my farm in 2020. And there's always a lot to do here. This small farm is in a very small town, by the fjord in Hardanger. Its a good place for hiking and culture. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. But I need help with maintenance of the outdoor area, wood working, chopping firewood and snow shoveling. I also have an airbnb, so cleaning, organize and tidying jobs are also tasks that I may need help with. Help are appreciated a lot. For your help, I can offer beautiful scenery, food and a private bedroom.
