After an intense house renovation, we are now entering the final phase, focusing on cleaning and refreshing the house. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. We are located in the Ecuadorian Amazon, within a protected primary rainforest area, surrounded by jungle, rivers, and abundant wildlife. Our farm is located on the coast in Bookara, which is located 20km north of Dongara and 45km south of Geraldton. Dongara is situated roughly 360km from Perth and is a beautiful town. Has its own port also, which is called Port Denison, so twin towns! Port Denison is renowned for having some of the biggest Cray Fishing boats in Australia. They are great to see. Geraldton is a 30min drive from our farm and is a rural city. We are surrounded by some great things, the Midwest has to offer. We are in Hot Springs (yes there are hot springs) on a homestead farm and have cows to milk, a tropical greenhouse to tend to, and lots of animals to feed and play with. We also have a few demolition and construction projects planned this summer, so if you have skills in that area we'd love the help. On the farm, we have a tropical greenhouse (as in bananas, guava and passion fruit), a high tunnel for extended season crops, fruit trees as well as yaks, dairy cows, horse and donkey, llamas and poultry.
