We have a small farm. We moved from the city to produce our own food. We have sheep. We are trying to grow new saplings and trees and establish a food forest. We are conscious people who are permaculture certified and registered in the organic farm network. We have a sustainability-based perspective. We would like to host volunteers who will help us with these issues. You will carry the experiences of being part of a real farm throughout your life. You will gain wonderful experiences on the farm with Selçuk, the master of everything, and Kadriye, the cook of delicious meals. To make bread, you need flour, yeast and an oven. A person who produces everything himself learns to live without needing anyone. This is a great freedom. We have a lot of wwoof experiences. Thank you for read our profile..

Kia ora! My home is in the middle of beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native bush, birds and organic gardens (no shops etc.). We built our earth house with local clay and roof gardens. This place is very private; a lifestyle block to enjoy nature and quiet living, 330 km North of Auckland, 20 min from Taipa Beach. The subtropical Far North of Aotearoa/New Zealand has important historic sights. I am also part of the Honeymoon Valley landcare group (honeymoonvalleylandcare.org.nz). We protect native forest, birds, lizards and insects by trapping predators and eradicating invasive weeds. You can help with chopping firewood, organic gardening, landscaping: mowing, brush-cutting, earth work, compost-making, renovating (fixing things, basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, ... . I have chickens; make bread; home-brew beer; organic apple cider vinegar, sauerkraut (when in season), preserve fruit, collect seeds, and when possible, stock my freezer with wild meat. I use per...

Are you a communicator willing to share your experiences. 😊Everything about me is pretty much normal. I'm fit and active. We have just begun hosting after a few years, as we could do with a bit of help again. We have a beautiful rural coastal property between Whakatane and Opotiki in the Bay of Plenty. We overlook the Waiotahe estuary and are a few minutes walk from Bryans Beach and Ohiwa Harbour - great kayaking, swimming, walking and fishing. We would like some help particularly on outside tasks such as cutting firewood, planting trees, painting and weedeating (strimming), as well as generally helping in the garden and around the house. To get to us, there are buses to both Opotiki and Whakatane and we can pick you up and drop you off there.

Our slice of paradise is home to a stunning array of native vegetation and a bustling community of native wildlife, making it the perfect retreat for nature lovers and eco-warriors alike. We're seeking spirited souls to lend a hand with some room painting and general upkeep of the property. As a thank you, we're offering cozy private studio accommodation equipped with TV and internet. . Prefer the stars over a ceiling? We've got camping sites too! I run private English school for children aged between 10 and 19 years old in a small city in West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities in their lives. I would like to welcome any fluent English speakers under the age of thirty to come assist my teachers in the classroom. You would help immensely by having simple conversations with the students and give them a real English speaking experience inside or outside the classroom. All the students are very welcoming and curious about my visitors and I am certain that you will have a great experience while interacting with them. You can expect answering all their curious questions, pose for pictures and be invited for lunches, snacks and dinners. Classes in my school run from 2pm to 6pm and mostly consist of two lessons/classrooms per day. I would also like to invite...

Hi folks, YES, we achieved a lot since returning from a 3+ year break in Feb 2022, beautifying our wonderful property, something we could not have done on our own. We are thankful for having had great assistance from amazing volunteers over the years, enriching our lives culturally and socially while progressing our beautification projects. We are a fit & energetic older couple with the following background: - Rene, 68yo, Swiss origin, Architect / Photographer / Traveller / Retired Resort Owner & Operator / Retired Tour Operator / Retired Restaurateur / Handyman (DIY Building) / Landscaper / Gardener . - Julie, 64yo, Philippine origin, Chef / Traveller / Retired Resort Owner & Operator / Retired Tour Operator / Retired Restaurateur. Our hosting, as well as workflow, is intermediate, as such, we may have breaks in between and preferences & requirements may change. With most of the earlier days' heavy lifting on structural projects done, our current projects are more along fine-tunin...

We are establishing an arborteum on our rural property near Wellington and are looking for some fit people to help us with planting small trees and making tracks. Our home is tucked away in the hills that cradle the Plimmerton village which is just over 3km along a country road tothe village and the seaside. The rail station into central Wellington is in the village. Surrounded by hills our property is secluded. A walking track just along the road leads to the village. Our extensive garden and bush is tranquil although early in the morning the native birds can make a lot of noise. Visiting rabbits and hares pop in occasionally to steal the odd blade of grass . Next door is a large working farm. It is a rare privilege to be so close to our capital city and yet have rural activities next door. If you don't like sheep, cows and dogs close by our place will not be for you. We, Helen and Ian, are in our late 60's. Proud parents of three grown children, their partners and eight grandc...

Aloha Kākou, Welcome to my home and farmstay. This is a Hawaiian owned and operated homesteading project. One of the very few- if not only- Native Hawaiian Cultural Exchange work-trade opportunity in Hāwai'i. Rooted in sustainability and indigenous values closely tied to the land, I believe that we as humanity have the responsibility, and utmost privilege, of being caretakers of this earth. It is my goal to eventually become fully self-sufficient, living simply and peacefully in harmony with da ‘Aina (the land). I am completely non-profit, and do not sell any produce. My present aims are to provide food for myself and any helpers who stay here, and to share the knowledge I have about the land: growing, planting and gardening, with others who share my goals to work towards self sufficiency and have a desire to learn more about living from the land. This is knowledge that I hope will then be taken forward into your own future homesteading endeavours. The beautiful māla (garden) is si...

Thank you for your interest in volunteering. We appreciate help, enjoy young people having an excuse to visit the beautiful and interesting places Adelaide, the hills and the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia have to offer with them. We are regularly being booked 3 to 4 months in advance with mostly long-term guests. This should not deter you to ask anyway as booked helpers sometimes cancel their spot. Please read through all the text below and only apply if you think this is for you. We live on a 2-hectare property with the young Angas River running through. We have organic gardens with fruit trees, all sorts of berries, vegetable gardens with free roaming bantams, big layer hens, flower beds, lawns as well as a goat on paddocks and a cute house cat. 1 of our 4 kids, Katharina, is living next door with her partner. Bernward is semi-retired but still runs a sustainable architecture and building consultancy business part time from offices attached to the home. Barbara works a...

Hello Helpers, I am a conservationist and a passionate native plant gardener. I also grow most of my own vegetables. I offer self-contained accommodation in a cosy cottage [with heating] in exchange for a couple of hours of work a day. The work might be in the garden, chain sawing, painting, brush-cutting, weeding or mulching plants. I am happy to negotiate according to your interests and experience. We would, of course, avoid inclement weather. Helpers must be trustworthy and happy to work independently at times. Must also be non smoker. It might be possible to negotiate a longer stay for a small rent + help; this might be useful if you have a 88 day job in the area. [dairy, vineyards, golf, hospitality] Bridport is a small coastal town, quiet in Winter. It has plenty of eating places, two pubs, a distillery, two supermarkets, beautiful scenery, golf courses, a daily bus service to Launceston and heaps of friendly people. My place is 1.5km from the town centre. There are many nat...

Large property on Banks Peninsula. Sleep out. Separate shower and toilet. Garden maintenance -4 hours /day for full room and board. Do have WiFi but limited. Am isolated in the country. Local transport to Little River but then I have to pick you up or take you down. I am a single retired Doctor of Chiropractic. Enjoy cooking or learning more about it. Extremely flexible as far as when and what gets done, as long as it does get done. Prefer single man, who enjoys his own company, the countryside and doesn't mind pulling weeds or can use gardening appliances etc. If you have your own transport, then close to city.

We have an automotive country workshop where we fix and service cars, 4WDs, trailers, tractors and all sorts of machinery. In our spare time we look after our little farm, some sheep, some cattle and rabbits. We also have a forest where we work and tidy up occasionally. So we are always in need of a couple of helpful hands to support us. We love to get to know different cultures and people. We grow our own meat, fruit and vegetables. Gustav also brews his own beer and makes wine and cider. A mature, non-smoking, self-organized person, preferable not a vegetarian, to give us a hand with house and land, would fit best into our lifestyle. You will have to join into our daily routines: breakfast is at around 7.30 am and then we feed all the animals, especially the hungry dog and work starts at 8.30am. We need to get everyone organized before customers arrive in the workshop. We expect about 4 hours work per day and we offer a nice room with a lovely warm bed, great meals, and a reas...

This is a Standardbred Horse stud located at the foot of the Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. We welcome working holiday visa holders with horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses!! Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our standardbred racehorses, yearlings, broodmares and stallions. Feeding, grooming, mucking out etc. Ideal helpers will be positive and willing. We enjoy meeting enthusiastic people that really want to get involved on the farm and learn how we do things. Day to day life on the farm is easy going, and we encourage our travellers to enjoy their down time exploring all the area has to offer, such as walks in the national park and rainforest or swimming in the creeks and waterfalls. There will be plenty of time for playing pool, horse riding, swimming in our indoor pool, meeting our lovely big family and getting involved in the backyard cricket matches! We...

We are located in Northern NSW, roughly 30km away from the towns of Lismore, Mullumbimby and Byron Bay. While we're all about sharing spaces like the bathroom, kitchen, and living room, our furry wildlife friends mean we're a no-dog zone. We ask for 4 hours of help a day, (we are flexible as to when you achieve those hours) leaving you plenty of time to explore or just kick back and relax. Whether you're a master chef or someone who enjoys being cooked for, we've got the food covered in exchange for your awesome help (and maybe a hand...

*2024 UPDATE* We are looking for a couple or two friends to stay for a couple of weeks or more if agreed. We are preparing our property for sale and we need to clean it up. There is much work removing trees, tidying up the garden and removing debris from the fires and recent storms. There is also cleaning work helping Cate with her property management business. During free time you are welcome to borrow our electric scooters and go swimming and exploring. We live in Mallacoota, one of Australia's most beautiful places on the southeast coast. It is a World Biosphere Reserve in the middle of the Croajingolong National Park next to the ocean with an estuarine lake system and many, many beaches. We are 2km from the town centre and 3km from the nearest beach. There are about seven magnificent beaches within 10km of us. Mallacoota is 540km from Melbourne, 630km from Sydney and 360km from Canberra with limited access via public transport so keep that in mind when planning your schedule...

We live here with chickens, geese, bunny rabbits, ducks and two cats! We live in a sub-tropical, unique area of regional NSW, on the East Coast, at Upper Orara which is close to Coffs Harbour and its beaches. We need some help with variety of projects, cleaning and cooking, also possibly some childcare. It is envisioned that you would like being a part of family life while you are here.

This is a centre for well being, creativity and earth based spirituality set on beautiful land with direct expansive views of sky, bush and sea. It is a place where people can come to experience their connection with themselves, one another and Nature.I am developing it as a venue for house concerts and outdoor music and dance events, informal music sessions with friends and visitors, sound healing and communal celebration of the cycles of Nature. Help is needed with establishing and maintaining gardens and orchards, clearing weeds, sawing firewood, maintenance and construction work, housework and cooking . In exchange for 24 hours of focused work a week I offer comfortable accommodation, delicious and wholesome vegetarian meals and the opportunity to enter into experiences that may prove life changing We are located in a beautiful part of Auckland with access to beaches and bush walks.

Beautiful, remote, rugged hill country sheep Station. Situated in the Central North Island. Surrounded by native forest. Million dollar views of Mt Taranaki, Mt Ruapehu, Mt Tongariro, and Mt Ngauruhoe (Mt Doom) and magnificent sunsets. The type of jobs change through out the year, Sheep work in yards, docking, shearing (helping in wool shed) Fencing, firewood, processing fruit and veggies, gardening, and other maintenance jobs. Feeding animals -lambs, goats, chickens etc and feeding out silage to cattle in winter. We have a good veggie garden. Most days are different, Not always a 4 hour day, Sometimes you will be actively helping and learning, and other days you will be watching and learning. You will be part of our family, our 7 ( 5 kids) along side Kevin's mother who owns the farm. So you will live and share our life. Some days we work away from the house, as our farm is approx 14 km long, so you may not come home at midday.Your days will all be different, and there is a lot of op...
