We live on the Whangaroa Harbour, half an hour north of Kerikeri. There`s no road to our property. We come and go by boat. We can pick you up from Kaeo or Kerikeri and bring you home, or if you're driving, we will meet you at Ota Point on the harbour. We have kayaks to explore the harbour or to fish from. The fishing is some of the best in New Zealand. Our home is at the water’s edge nestled above the mangroves. The work is mostly gardening and a little housework. We are a Farm Animal Sanctuary based in the beautiful Cardrona Valley, situated 15 minutes from the popular tourist destination Wanaka and 40 minutes from Queenstown. During your volunteering day here, you will interact with many farm animals and help out with daily farm chores and our continuing on farm revegetation project. We farm sheep and beef in the heart of the Catlins, in Tawanui at the start of the popular Catlins river walk. The farm consists of sheep, cattle, four rideable horses and some coloured pet Gotland sheep along with an array of wild deer roaming the hill. I'm located 16km South of Te Puke on a property that has a back boundary of native forest. I'm usually able to host people at any time of year, but am busiest in the spring. I currently have building projects happening, as well as lots of painting, waxing new bee frames, and also hands on beekeeping for anyone who is keen. I also keep sheep and cattle on the property here, and hunt deer and pigs in the forest. These grass and forest fed animals form a large part of the menu here, so vegetarians probably won`t be happy with the diet. I cater to lots of herbivores and they all have hooves or paws. Over 30+ years, my husband and I created a beautiful space with large flowerbeds, vegetable and fruit garden, two polytunnels, meadows and wooded areas out of a 4 acre meadow. Sadly, my husband died in early 2019. It's a lot to manage on my own as I also work part-time in a woollen mills and as a translator. So I'm looking for help, from other women only. This is a horse-riding and outdoor adventure company nestled in the heart of the Alpujarras, on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada (Granada, Spain). With over 30 years of experience, we organise horseback treks through some of Andalusia's most stunning and off-the-beaten-path landscapes. We are looking for motivated helpers to assist with horse care, stable maintenance, and various tasks around the property including cleaning, repairing, taking care of the other animals. If you're a horse rider, you may help with horse treks as well. You will have your own accommodation in a little house among the horses, with all the essentials (water, electricity, network, cooking facilities, etc). If you don't have your own transport, since we are situated in the Bubion village, you can access by foot a small supermarket & a pharmacy. There's also a bus line.

Tasks will include looking after our children while teaching them French, housework, helping to prepare our Airbnb accommodation and farmwork. HI, welcome to Taranaki Can you come and give us a hand in the garden and with some general house upkeep. We would appreciate some help over the next few months in our garden, you can begin anytime from now on. We need some help with ongoing garden work weeding, cutting back some hedges and smaller trees as well as general tidying up of our gardens, if it’s pouring with rain we can always find a few inside jobs that need doing.
