We are looking for help starting in September or October for someone who can ideally play an instrument, our daughter needs assistance with her homework. We prefer longer stay. We were blessed with the company over 300 helpers over the past 7 years. It was a ton of fun and so many projects were completed. We live in the inner west suburb of Petersham in Sydney, close to public transport. We enjoy meeting travellers from around the world. We also enjoy help with cleaning, dog walking, sorting, painting & gardening etc. We offer a bedroom with queen bed and good food for 20 hours work a week, which can be done flexibly. And it’s fine if you want to work less hours & organise your own food. If you’re heading north, we have a place 20 minutes north-west of Taree where we’d like help with cleaning, painting, gardening etc but you’d need a car to get there. We are a retired couple plus Alfie the labradoodle and our 21-year old son, Alex. We have hosted many HelpXers over the years.

We have space for helpers now at our homely hostel in Nelson and we'd love to hear from you. Cleaning work is around up to 2 hours a day with one day off a week to explore our beautiful region. We say minimum stay is 3 weeks but most stay a lot longer (sometimes many months) and now you get to keep a cool TBB Team T-shirt when you do!). In return for your work you get accommodation, breakfast & every night we serve up hot chocolate pudding and ice cream. Also free use of washing machine & free unlimited 24 hr wifi. Every week we have a shared lunch - usually home-made vege soup & bread and $ towards a shared meal with others doing a similar role. And sometimes the use of sauna/cold plunge. Tasks will be mainly helping to clean the hostel, but might also be gardening, painting, maintenance, etc..... there's always lots to do depending on your strengths and interests. We extra value people that are very keen, enthusiastic, and love to help out in any way to give our guests the...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy to show you basis if you are interested. If you want to discover...

Kia Ora travellers! I live with my dog, Nala, in a beautiful big and warm house on a 27 acre life style block with native bush and a little creek. I have an organic vegetable garden and orchard growing fresh vegetables, hazelnuts, walnuts and chestnuts. You can also enjoy great views of the Banks Peninsula from here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s only 1 hour away from Christchurch city and 30 mins from Akaroa, a lovely seaside town with a rich French heritage. I used to be a Tour Guide for overseas tourists, so I know every nook and cranny of the Great Aotearoa. I would be happy to share with you our culture, history and many stories. I also used to host overseas backpackers when living in Christchurch and I always enjoy having company and learning about cultural differences. There is plenty to do to keep busy and be creative - planting trees, pruning, cleaning up bonfires, getting stuck into the big garden. Work hours are flexible and will be max 4 hours (mos...

Sametime in support of growing world awareness of organic life or climate changes comes as a beginning of a new era. And proud to be part of it as its time to deconstruct what we constructed just in few decades. Mumbai city is the only city in the world where the Country lives in a city i.e you will find everyone from the different parts of India living in the city of Mumbai. This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start mid-November and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in return for their generous servic...

Nestled in the coastal range of Mendocino County, California (about 45 minutes Northwest of Ukiah where the weather is more pleasant) we are establishing a small farm and wildlife sanctuary.  Based on principles of sustainability & permaculture our expanding ridge top garden and orchards consist of a variety of fruits, veggies, herbs and flowers.  Aside from garden and orchard tasks additional projects may include gathering seaweed and other native wild foods, cooking, canning, fermenting foods, making herbal preparations, habitat restoration, brush and trail clearing, small scale green building and learning how to build and maintain an off-grid infrastructure and solar system. Please read all of our information before contacting us. We require a one month minimum stay, and currently we have space beginning July 1st. Our homestead is remote and therefore not for everyone. We prefer those who want to unplug and enjoy the serenity of a mountain forest. If you are open minded, love t...

Hello, I’m David! I have sold my coffee shop after 45 years in the hospitality trade, where travelling workers would once work, however I STILL offer helpers the same excellent own room lodging as homestay & great food in exchange for a little light work and some social contact. I live close the train station and bus stop and am a 30 min trip by train to Melbourne City. There is a vehicle to drive locally if are appropriately licensed. You are welcome to use it. I go to the outback in western New South Wales about 3 times a year for the purpose of experiencing the beautiful "timeless land" of Australia and to legally hunt feral animals which endanger our wildlife. I often take workers to the outback so they can have a taste of the real Australia and I can assure that none of the numerous helpers/woofers I have taken over a many year period did not thoroughly enjoy it. . However the choice is theirs whether they accompany myself or whether they stay and "mind the house" I also oft...

Help out in the morning (2 hrs), surf or relax in the afternoon. We are looking for 1 or 2 happy helpers to join our team from mid-September. The work is mainly housekeeping and general hospitality tasks. The jobs are easy, but we are looking for someone who has an eye for detail and a positive “can-do” attitude. In exchange for 2 hours of help each morning, you get: 🏠 free accommodation, dbl room for couples and twin room for friends, 🌴 plenty of free time to surf, explore or simply relax. Our lodge is a historic Kauri building right on 90 Mile Beach at Shipwreck Bay, Ahipara, a beautiful spot famous for its surfing. We are a small guest house with 18 beds and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Most of our guests come here for surfing and to explore Cape Reinga. If you are not into surfing, no problem — it’s a great place to hang out, relax and make friends. The beach is right in front of the lodge — a fantastic place to chill, surf, swim, walk or enjoy the sunsets. If you are frie...

Note: As I only have 1 spare room in my home your stay can only be within the dates listed. 2 people must be willing to share a double bed which is why I say 1 or COUPLE. Hi, welcome to NZ. If you are looking for a CountryLife experience ( ie a quiet place near a National Park for hiking and swimming) then my place is ideal. I am looking for a willing and able bodied person or couple to come stay in my home and help with gardening, tidying up around the property and help build vegetable beds. Otherwise if you have digital marketing skills I would love to hear from you too. I run a business in transport and tours for the local area and just dont have the time or skills to set up the digital marketing content and organise photos. In return you will have a comfy room ( normally rented to AirBNB guests ) and food. Due to my tourism business I may not always be home to cook. Your accommodation and meals ( meals on days you work) is included so no remuneration will be given. You will also...

Looking for someone to start mid September Hi all, my name is Greg and I owned a hostel some time ago and now have decided to get helpers to help me out around the house as well as help me with painting. I'm a painter and decorator with lots of work to do and would like to get someone to give me a hand. You don't have to be qualified for this work and can be male or female as I can give you tasks that anyone should be able to do and will also spend some time with you showing how to do things which will include painting. It will depend on the individual to how much work they do each week, so it could be to work for accommodation only to getting paid if you are more interested in doing a full weeks work. Also I can supply food and accommodation in exchange for helping me, the areas that I will need help with will range from general help around the house to helping sort through my collection of items I buy at auctions. So you could be helping doing some painting, gardening (there’s not ...

3 bedroom house 200m from beach on south terrace in South Fremantle. Pubs, restaurants and cafes within short walking distance. Walk to Fremantle in 15 mins or take the free bus with a stop within a few meters. It's a beautiful old house with a nice back garden to relax in. I require assistance with a some renovation work. The house is 120 years old - not old by European standards but quite old for Australia - but still a lot to be done. Some more work on my kitchen, and just a myriad of small things. Any skills in renovation and minor construction would be ideal but not essential. Whilst I haven't had many helpxers, I've had great experiences with everyone who has stayed. Happy for people to do there own thing but also happy to have a beer/wine with good people. Am after 1 to 3 honest people, male or female. Have had great experiences with helpxers so far. Thanks, Mike

Looking for Helpers right through busy summer and autumn months. Plenty going on during summer, shearing, stock work, fencing, weed control, garden tidying, lawn mowing, lots of tractor driving etc. It would be great to have some strong keen helpers to help fix fences and do some building work. Our family of 4 (2 kids - 16 & 18 years old) live on a beautiful sheep and beef farm with large woodland garden and organic vegetable garden. We need help with stock work, general farming tasks, gardening, cooking etc. We're 40 minutes from Nelson, 15 minutes from Motueka. This is only the second school in Nagarkot, nice Nepalese village in Bhaktapur district; a 1.5 hrs bus ride from Kathmandu. It hopes to provide an English medium education for underprivileged children. The school has 7 staff members taking care of its 80+ students - aged from 4 to 12 years old - and would benefit from any help volunteers can provide. ** CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR HELP** Hi, welcome to NZ, and hopefully to Kōpuaranga, Masterton! Our home out of site of other houses, so a rural experience, views and usually a great night sky are guaranteed - yet still only a ten minute drive to our service town of Masterton which has rail links to Wellington. An easy pick up or drop off if you do not have your own vehicle. We are located just a 1.5 hour drive north of Wellington off State Highway 2. Masterton is central to a lot of walks, mountains rivers and coastline and some beach/ surf communities too. We have a river boundary with trout and eels, and it is great for a speedy dip on the hot days before the nature gets too curious! We have now been on this property for 18 months, so much has been achieved with HelpX travel friends, but we are only half way through... Outside we are building bird rearing pens, raising chickens and sheep, and further developing our produce and ornamental gardens. Inside we are wallpaper stripping...

Kia ora, travellers! Haere mai - welcome to my whare (home) in beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and insects. We built this eco-earth house using local clay from right under our feet. This land used to be just grass, but after 30 years of caring for this whenua, it now has mature trees, orchards, and organic gardens. Life here is peaceful and quiet, perfect for enjoying nature. I am part of the local Landcare Group, protecting our native forest, birds, lizards, and insects. We trap predators and remove invasive weeds. You can help with landcare work and organic/permaculture gardening: vegetables, fruit trees, chickens, mowing, brush-cutting, compost-making, maintenance and fixing things (basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, chopping firewood. I bake bread. I make apple cider vinegar, bottle fruit, jam, chutney, sauerkraut, and collect seeds. The current to-do list includes building a roof in front of the chicken coop and another in front of...

We also enjoy help with cleaning, dog walking, sorting, painting & gardening etc. We offer a bedroom with queen bed and good food for 20 hours work a week, which can be done flexibly.

Hello wonderful Help-xer's! We have an opportunity for a couple, to come for a week, or two weeks at a time. We are a family of five running a sheep and beef farm in Rissington, just out of Napier. (three children aged 12, 14 and 16) We have comfortable accommodation with your own large King bedroom and bathroom, that would suit an energetic, couple, or one/two motivated people travelling together who are keen to help with our beautiful riverside accommodation whilst learning about our culture and family along the way! You will stay and help cook meals for our family whilst having the opportunity to go out and explore the beautiful Hawkes Bay. We are looking for help with the following; landscaping, weeding, spraying, limbing up trees, spraying down and washing outside of buildings, washing windows, gardening and general maintenance around the property. Your own car would be an advantage. In return for your help, we would love to welcome you into our close-knit family and community ...

So looking at life in its best or worst way, with in its various colourful shades. 👉🏼 For References - ask for my other volunteer site profile. 👉🏼 My passion is film making but still I am trying to develop my spiritual understanding.

Volunteers can expect to as class helpers and also share teaching tips with the school if they can.

We are in the hills 1 hour from Perth CBD in a small rural farming community. Our place includes the small town's original Post office (1914) which has a reputation of being the smallest post office in Australia, this is now used as your cosy air-conditioned guest room with a sofa bed. Complete the rustic aussie experience with an outside toilet. NO local transport. You MUST have your own car. Meals and showering (and another toilet) is in our main house. We have a winter creek at the back set in bushland, musical instruments (piano, guitar, ukuleles). Room for vehicles. Singles, couples and families welcome. We seek helpers for general yard maintenance, gardening to establish veggie beds, weeding, sweeping, cleaning, painting and household chores. You will need to keep your areas clean and tidy. Two hours work is required each day for accomodation. We sometimes like to work more on one day and then have a couple of days free. If its very hot we prefer to work early or late in th...
