Our family runs a western riding facility with 30 stalls, where we provide horse boarding and training, including reining and cow work. We also have a western saloon, where we host weddings, special events, and are open for our club members on weekends. In return for cleaning out stalls and feeding horses (and the odd other job), we offer room and board, sorry we cannot host vegetarians; we include you in family activities and you have the possibility to improve your riding skills in western riding (cow work and reining) in our 30 x 60 m arena and - how about -learning some line dancing!! A bicycle is available, if you want to explore the near surroundings. We are located close to Switzerland, it`s about a 15 minutes car ride to Basle, and also only about 20 minutes to Germany. Our area is a great tourist region. If you are mature, fit and self-motivated, willing to stay for a minimum of 2 weeks, experienced with handling horses, we would be happy to hear from you!

This place is a resource for education, empowerment, and for taking back our food system. Teaching courses on sustainable gardening, mushroom growing, soap making, wilderness survival and living skills, and ecologically friendly building practices. We're on a half acre in a beautiful small town just off the Sassafras River on Maryland's gorgeous Eastern Shore. I've restored an abandoned early 1900s Victorian home and am turning the 1/2 acre grass yard into a little permaculture paradise. So far we have a 1/4 acre veggie garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, nut trees, a native wildflower meadow, bug hotel, mushroom logs, a solar food dehydrator, a demonstration off grid 'tiny home' and a wallapini sunken aquaponics green house with more plans on the way. Depending on the weather, you're welcome to stay in the tiny home. We don't have a composting toilet set up so you can use the indoor shower and bathroom. Hei ! Here is Ingunn and Mathieu. We are a Norwegian-French couple and since mai 2021 a happy family of three. Our family house "Karnes Gaard" is a farm since the 16th century. In 1912, Ingunn's grand father gave part of the land for the Tromsø county to build "Solhov", prestigious boarding school and largest wooden building north of Trondheim. When Ingunn took over the farm in 2009, running it organically felt something obvious. And when Solhov was for sale the next year, a dream became possible : sharing our love for the Lyngen Alps by hosting guests who seek breathtaking surroundings, healthy stay and organic local food, peaceful lifestyle and carbon-free activities. Our dream is to serve as much as possible our organic and local products to these guests. Originally we grow potatoes and strawberries. We are trying several small scale production to see what is possible to grow here up north. At the moment, we are focusing in : - increasing our honeybees park, hives and flowers -...

We are Said (36) from the Sahara and Linde (33) from the Netherlands. It is our pleasure to meet you here in Project Bani Hayoune Garden! Said comes from a big Amazigh-Tuareg family. After growing up in the Sahara desert and living many years a nomadic life, his family settled down in a village called Tagounite. Now Said lives next to the small village Beni Hayoun, 4 kilometers outside Tagounite. Here, we are working on recovering 200-year old adobe house. Behind the house there is a large garden which needs a lot of care and work. Our aim is to make the land green again, bring the oasis life back and to grow enough food for us and for the community. Linde is an artist from the Netherlands & Denmark and also co-founder of the project. Her past experience includes working in Waldorf kindergartens, creating workshops with children and families in a refugee center, and caring for people in homes for the disabled. December update I will need help again probably in March. I have had some excellent helpers already this year. I am going to try to sell the house in 2026 so need help as I declutter and get ready to downsize after 45 years in this amazing place. I will still need help in the grounds. Some repairs and general upkeep and maintenance jobs and clearing paths, fighting the undergrowth, tending plants and watering. When it rains there are plenty of indoor jobs to help with: shopping, cooking and cleaning, decluttering and sorting stuff. Computer assistance is always a bonus. There may also be opportunities to help with voluntary projects nearby including the Storehouse with its community lunch once a week, Saturday Town Hall open house. These are all ways to meet local people. This very big old house with woodland garden is tucked behind the main street of a busy, small Scottish town. I have no pets but there are resident deer, squirrels and even badgers to look out for! Exper...

My husband Kim and I live in a nice two bedroom home in the country outside of Caccamo in Sicily. The house is very comfortable and has a beautiful large covered terrace out front with fantastic views of the mountains in the distance. We are about 30 minutes from very nice beaches on the north coast of Sicily. We have 5+ acres of land with olive, almond and various fruit trees which we need help pruning and harvesting. We’re also building a large vegetable garden and have several landscaping projects that we need help with. We ask for 2-3 hours of help each day. We will provide meals and can accommodate helpers food requests. We would be happy to take helpers to explore the area, as Sicily is full of history, ancient architecture and culture. Our village of Caccamo has an ancient castle and very nearby are remnants of Greek temples and villages and even Roman aqueducts. We’re always so thrilled when guests enjoy our Bella Sicilia!

We live in a very old house in Toshima Ward, Tokyo. I (Hiro) am an IT engineer and have been renting the house for over 10 years. My roommates are Chinese, Japanese, and Nepali, including a queer woman. Room sharing and coming out of the closet are uncommon in Japan. Art project My friend drew a mural, but there was still free space on the wall. So I started to find artists to add their paintings to the wall on this site. At least 20 people from all over the world have joined this art project so far. We don't have any art skills. Offer the chance, but do not join the project. The neighborhood Two stations from Ikebukuro and thirty minutes from Shinjuku and Shibuya. Very quiet residential area, but there are some restaurants and shops. [Help Title: Artist] We're looking for people who can draw a mural and help with cleaning. I don't accept requests that don't answer the questions in my profile. Duties & Responsibilities Paint the mural in any common space, mostly the living room. No...

Hello everyone! My name is Bird, I was working in Chiang-Mai as a photographer for 2 years then decided to become a farmer and create a Thai traditional agriculture permaculture farm in 2018.

Exper...
