Hello, i would be happy for help. There is a lot to do on this place, mostly in the garden. Technical help, e.g. installation of solar panel, building a greenhouse, renovation of an old cattle house would also be needed. A carpenter and a bricklayer would be also great. We are vegetarian ! :-) We are a couple in our best age, and are here since 5 years. We want to build a small place for meditation and Qi Gong here. We want this to become a place for living and coming together. We would be happy to meet you.

We are a family living in the beautiful village of Herand in the middle of Hardanger. We live close to the fjord and have an accounting firm and a software company that we live off of + some rental of beds in the summer. We have a small greenhouse and a small farm where we have some vegetables. Summer is a busy time and we need 2-3 positive people to help us with different work. We live by the harbour, and have a small farm 2 km away. We have boats, kayaks, canoes and paddleboards. You can use a cabin in the mountains if you wish. The area is well suited for walking or cycling. Normal working hours are 4-5 hours per day.

Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. We are both retired and live in a converted barn in about two acres of land. The nearest town is Villefranche de Rouergue which is ten kilometres away. We have lived in France long enough to appreciate what we call proper food so. we strive to vary the diet so that no main meal is repeated for at least 14 days (unless specially requested) It may be French, it may be British, or it may be a mixture of French and British and on occasions you will taste the local delicacies We are very flexible about working hours all we ask is that in return for five hours work per day, five days a week, at a time to suit yourself, we will provide you with good healthy tasty food and a private comfortable room which has TV and en-suite facilities, If you are a couple who wish complete privacy, we could provide you with a separate self-contained apartment. 🌿 Come help on our farm! We need friendly volunteers to join us with cooking, cleaning, gardening, and everyday tasks — no experience needed, just a good attitude and willingness to muck in.We are looking for helpers between the ages of 18 to 32. We are a small community of friends working towards a better life in a beautiful part of rural Devon, in the Tamar River Valley Estuary where you will make friends for life. In exchange for your friendship while you are staying here we will endeavour to teach you new skills that will carry you through life. A small farm in a beautiful location! Our farm and home probably date back to pre 1660's, with many additions since. It has been left to go wild for the last 40 years. The river has otters, seals, beavers, salmon, sea trout, and sea bass. With buzzards and owls overhead. There are deer in the surrounding woodland. The aim for our farm is to give the land back to nature and at the same time create an organic food source that we can freely ...

Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. If you have something you are passionate about and want to share with others, we would love for you to run a workshop. Hi! I'm Lamberto, the owner of a guesthouse in Alghero, just 300 meters from Lido San Giovanni beach and a 20-minute walk from beautiful Maria Pia beach, where you can sometimes spot dolphins! Sardinia's nature is stunning right now: plants are blooming, vegetation is bright green, and wild asparagus is popping up. I'd love to teach you how to forage it and take you on some scenic hikes. After being closed for months, the house needs some fresh energy. Help with cleaning, painting, repotting plants, would be amazing. And if you have a good eye for style, interior design, or photography, ideas to spruce up rooms, and take new photos that would be very appreciated. You would have your own bedroom with hotel standards. I will provide food, I love cooking healthy Italian meals and will happily prepare one a day for helpers. I would be pleased to share my passion for Italian cuisine and learn recipes from your culture, cultural exchange is the best part! If you love the sea, nature, ...

Hello!

What can we offer?? We have a small rural farm of 15 acres. There is a nearby river with some water holes for swimming as well as extensive opportunities for bush walking in the rugged hills surrounding the farm home to over 200 varieties of birds as well as wallabies and goannas and indeed one koala seen the other day We are situated in the scenic and historic St. Albans only 100km form Sydney. Adjacent to the property is the Common a land grant issued by Queen Victoria to sustain local cattle farms during periods of drought etc. The area initially settled as a food source for the Sydney basin, as well as a historical area based around convict and early settlement. Farm managed by friendly older couple (some French spoken with a comfortable farmhouse available for a couple). Area is also 80km from large towns so here is a need for own transport if possible although host may provide transport at times agreed upon. Hi, my name is Mary. I live on the border of NSW and Victoria, a town called Albury. There is a train service to Albury from Sydney about 9 hours and Melbourne about 5 hours train trip. We are a family living in a house with garden in the center of Varen. We sre looking for someone how can stay for atleast a month in August or September. The oldest kids go to school the whole day. They are very independent. So your job would be to take care of Sam (6) and Tristan (3 years) + fixing a simple lunch on the 2 days I work. The kids speak German, Dutch and English. We both work in tourism and like meeting people from different countries and cultures. We are very easygoing and I'm sure you'll be able to feel like home. Our area is very touristic, both in Summer for Hiking as in winter for skiing. Peter is often driving up to Crans-Montana for work, so often you can hich a free ride with him, and then go ski and hike up there. The thermal baths in Leukerbad are also quite close and doable in a day hike. Looking forward to hearing from you!

At our off- grid solar, wood and gravity powered homestead you can live very close to Nature and learn by helping, how to grow your own food in the big, fully caged vegie garden/ orchard and some of how to build a bush cabin (it could be a winning strategy in years to come). *** Welcoming helpxer/s now :-) *** Nestled in the beautiful Southern Alps is the historic settlement of Cass (approx half way between Christchurch and Greymouth). I am offering private accommodation, (separate from the house with own bathroom) and all groceries/meals in exchange for odd jobs - painting, gardening and lawn mowing. There is plenty to do in the area including fishing on many of the nearby high country lakes (1.6km spectacular walk to Lake Sarah) day walks/ tramping in Arthurs Pass National Park and Craigieburn forest Park, skiing on one of the 5 local ski fields, four wheel driving, Scree jumping (down Sugar Loaf). A short drive to Cave stream scenic reserve (one of the south Islands best free activities) and Castle Hill natural rock climbing park (where scenes from Lord of the Rings and Narnia were filmed). Other nearby facilities are The Bealey Hotel (10mins) and Arthurs Pass 20mins. In exchange I would like four hours work per day. Cass can be reached by car...

I have an opening for a volunteer person to help me with everyday life of looking after animals and some gardening, weeding & basic maintenance of the farm and some house duties in COLLINSVILLE north Qld. I can only accommodate one person. This is a great opportunity to get away from the city life and enjoy some country living. I have cats horses and chooks. * I have space now in Wellington for one person, until 12 August * I have a charming, sunny, comfortable home with a lovely garden and a beautiful view over the harbour and mountains. It is very central, well connected to transport, with big parks and green belt very close. I usually only have one bed available, so mostly take 1 person at a time - only occasionally can I take 2 people. In return for two hours work in the house and garden per day, I will provide free accommodation and breakfast. I speak fluent Spanish and can help with someone learning English. I have a sociable lifestyle with many friends, and helpers are welcome to join in on some dinners. But I do need Helpxers who are independent too, since there will be times when I am very busy and not around much. If you're good at cleaning, gardening, painting and doing home maintenance and repairs around the house, that would be great. And I love good food, so good cooks are always welcome!

Walking the dogs, feeding the pets (just cat and dog), check on the horses and take care of our home, easy! There is plenty of time in the middle of the day to go out and explore the Wairarapa area (you will need your own transport for that). The lovely wine town of Martinborough, the huge swing bridge and walks at Waihoine Gorge, and other walks such as the abandoned railway walk over the Rimutaka hill. We provide all the food you would need for three meals a day (if we are on holiday, we make sure there's lots of food in the house) and superior accommodation. This is for those of you who plan ahead. We are full until mid August, in the middle of our best fishing season, wind permitting. Its also during what is normally our best weather. At least some of the time we should be cutting great timber from unwanted trees using a 26 inch/56cm bandsaw. So anyone who loves fishing, snorkelling on inshore reefs and is good at DIY or carpentry and loves the simple, quiet, rural life by the beach, next to the rainforest, this is for you 🤗. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not r...

Preference will be given to helpers with a genuine interest in learning about NZ dairy farming and animal husbandry. We love sharing what we do and prefer to host helpers with a desire to learn. We run a boutique dairy farm, milking a small herd of much loved cows and selling raw milk to our wonderful customers Starting a new business is hard work and not for the faint-hearted. If you consider yourself up for the challenge of helping us, we'd love to hear from you! We offer a family environment with opportunities for farm work, housework, gardening and cooking. There is a wide variety of work available. Working with the animals of course, weed control, plus fencing work, painting, carpentry, building and lots of different small tasks to complete. If outdoor work doesn't appeal, help in the house with cooking and cleaning is always appreciated, and the large and previously neglected garden also requires a lot of work.

We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. One of the best things here is the variety of tasks you can do as a volunteer, which gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and discover what you enjoy doing most. We have a combination of short-term and long-term volunteers and on average we have between 10 to 20 volunteers and resident...

Looking for a lovely volunteer(s) to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM early October. We are fully booked until then.

For example, helpers could be transported to and from the proper...

Hi, my name is Mary. I live on the border of NSW and Victoria, a town called Albury. There is a train service to Albury from Sydney about 9 hours and Melbourne about 5 hours train trip. I am happy to pick someone from the Albury railway station. Albury is a pretty town on the Hume Highway. It is inland on the Murray River and there are a lot of local attractions, vineyards, historical small towns, snow fields and many more, only a few hours drive. I am located in town, with the railway station and the airport not too far, about 15minutes drive. I am fully vaccinated and require the same of a helper. I only take Non-smokers (meaning you do not smoke at all, outside as well). Currently I am asking for 2.5hrs a day for board only. You can cook for yourselves, buy supplies locally and after cooking clean your area. I would like help with the garden and other general duties around the house, such as cleaning. If you are travelling this way, either going to Melbourne or locally and can hel...

We are long term, committed advocates, for climate change action and we've lived with Sustainability and Creating a low "Carbon Footprint" in mind, for 40 yrs now, settling here, (inland of Taree / Port Macquarie) from scratch in 1980, on 680 acres of rocky ridge forest on the wild and steep NW edge of the Bulga Plateau, 500m above sea level (a very beautiful but challenging location)!

This is for those of you who plan ahead. We are full until mid August, in the middle of our best fishing season, wind permitting. Its also during what is normally our best weather.
