Deutscher Text weiter unten. Hello, we're the Hagemann family. 5 years ago we took over the house with all the trimmings from our friends of the Lang family and would be happy about new/old helpers. We, that's Christian (59), Christine (54) and our 2 dogs. We also have some horses, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits and a big garden. We're always looking for someone to do gardening and animal care and feeding Experience is good but not necessary. Skillful craftsmanship is advantageous. The requirement is 25 working hours per week, health insurance and the minimum stay should be 1 week. We are a non-smoking family, but the smokers who go outside are also welcome. In return, we offer an open-minded family, our own small apartment, many leisure activities and a private pool. We live in the countryside but still central, a shopping mall is nearby and the beach is not far away. Bicycles are available. If you have any questions, please contact us. -------- Hallo wir sind Familie Hagema...

We are a gay couple who run a rural retreat-style guesthouse about 20 minutes drive inland from Torre Del Mar / Velez-Málaga in the south of Spain. In summer (late May to mid October) we take long-term volunteer "interns" to help with the general running of the guesthouse. My wife Dana and I Oliver live with our 3 of our 4 kids, Lea(13), Ronja(7) and Alva(5), on an old farm, that we have bought in 2020, in a small village at the edge of the wester forest 25km outside Bonn. When we bought the farm it was in a rather poor condition and it took us about 2 years to renovate the house using alternative building materials as wood wool or clay as much as possible. The house we have more or less finished but the rest of the farm still needs same attention. The idea is to create a place where human can live in harmony with and from nature. Currently we have about 40 Galloway’s, 5 horses, 6 sheep, 1 dog, 3 cats, a docent chicken, 2 bee colonies and a small vegetable garden. We hope one day we will produce egnough so that the farm feeds us and the people living with us but to get there it is still a long way. When I was younger I travelled a lot. The biggest trip was a two years motorbike tour from Germany to New Zealand. But also spend some time in Africa as wel...

Other jobs include: ● General spring cleaning ● Cleaning and polishing a boat ● Rust-proofing a boat trailer ● Organising parts of the shed and garage ● Other jobs around the house The house is a large modern home and you will mostly have it to yourself. We live on a large lifestyle block, mostly in native bush near the sea with our gardens growing amongst it. We value living with a small footprint. Being off-grid and water conscious are two constant factors to be mindful of. I am a home-based artist with a pottery studio and family life combined. My studio has gas and wood-fired kilns and a small gallery out the front. We like hosting independent, practical, resourceful types who immerse into the lifestyle on the Barrier. The type of work depends on what projects are going on at the time....maintenance, gardening, building, cleaning, firewood, etc I like to tap into people's strengths and interests to determine what sort of thing suits them best. We share meals and tasks after the work is done. 4 hours of work is exchanged for food and bed.

Applications are accepted in order of arrival and mutual agreement :) BASIC BENEFITS - Wide garden, bedroom, living room, little kitchen. They all are simple. Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

This project is part of a sustainable re-population project in the Abruzzo countryside. It's part of a network active in this area which connects all the people living around that have chosen the natural farming as their way to freedom. I'm 50 years old and i live one and half km away from Tufillo in a three hectares property. An open space for those who love nature, natural farming, art, and the sharing of goods, knowledge and experience. I started this project which includes the renovation of a farm shed, the building of a new house, some organic vegetable gardens, a meditative corner on an old oak tree, a thermocompost-shower, a clay pizza oven, a bio-climatic chicken coop and small stable. There are to be planted an orchard and a vineyard. From the water source present in the property gushes pure water that will be channeled into two bio-pools that will be used as tanks but also for fish breeding. At the moment there are six chickens and three dogs but i also want to breed geese, r...

Hi! I'm Tonje and I moved to my farm in 2020. And there's always a lot to do here. This small farm is in a very small town, by the fjord in Hardanger. Its a good place for hiking and culture. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. But I need help with maintenance of the outdoor area, wood working, chopping firewood and snow shoveling. I also have an airbnb, so cleaning, organize and tidying jobs are also tasks that I may need help with. Help are appreciated a lot. For your help, I can offer beautiful scenery, food and a private bedroom.

If you’re interested in helping on a beef cattle farm, cuddling foals and experiencing the Aussie farm life, you are most welcome here. We have a number of building jobs going at the moment so if you are handy with mechanics, metal, wood or a paint brush, that would be very helpful to us. Your daily tasks would be to feed the animals in the morning and evening, and caring for the mare and foal, gardening and general farm chores or in the household. There is always something to do. It would be great if you know how to drive a manual vehicle and you can learn to drive a tractor or a quad here. In exchange you can choose between a cozy room or caravan with everything inside that you need and I provide food for all your meals. You prepare your own breakfast and lunch and in the evening we have a home cooked dinner together. We also have unlimited WiFi and a car that you can use to visit the local area. We are located on the edge of a small country town of Blayney in NSW, 3 hours w...

We are looking for helpers from right now and have space for two people. We have three small cabins, two with double beds and one with a single bed so room for up to five helpers normally but only room for two at the moment as we still have international surf coaches staying. All the helpers share a kitchen and bathroom. From now end of June we need help with some building work so preference will be given to people who already have some skills with tools.. We are a great place to start or end your time in New Zealand as we are only 45 minutes drive from Auckland airport. The work will be varied and interesting but usually building and garden based. It could include finishing off an underground earth bag hobbit hole. We have a passion for earth building and organic gardening. Its good if you are over the age of 20, are self motivated and can work unsupervised. We are located on Auckland's beautiful West Coast only 40mins drive from Auckland central city. We operate Muriwai surf sch...

Welcome! Our family owned and operated certified organic livestock farm in North Central British Columbia is excited to have you stay and become a part of everything we have going on. We’ve been operating since 2008, primarily raising Berkshire pigs, Dexter cattle, Katahdin sheep, laying hens, broiler chickens and of course bronze breasted turkeys for thanksgiving and Christmas. On top of that, we’re home to two Labrador retrievers (Ned and Nelly), 3 outdoor cats, 2 guard alpacas and a family of Muscovy ducks. In other words, you will never find yourself not in the company of animals! Aside from livestock, we have recently built a small farm store / café that cooks the meat raised on the farm. We also take pride in creating all recipes from scratch, from the sauces to the buns of the burgers. Currently only operating during the summer months, 3 days per week. It’s been a lot of work, but a great way to get more people out to the farm, eating good food and connecting with the community...

INTRODUCTION This is NOT a hostel, but a personal project aimed to become an educational & cultural spot in the neighborhood. It means, you will NOT work following a set of rules to make profits for a bussiness, but to participate with ideas/creativity/emotions/action to develop a social-aimed venture. Please, before introducing yourself, which is very nice, ask me if the days you apply are available to welcome you. Applications are accepted in order of arrival and mutual agreement :) BASIC BENEFITS - Wide garden, bedroom, living room, little kitchen. They all are simple. Any area is shared. - Breakfast will be provided by the host the work days. However, the lunch and dinner can be cooked in the kitchen by the guest/volunteer/friend. I am flexible to talk about these and other clauses. - You handle to organize your work hours/days. ADDITIONAL BENEFITS - Welcome cocktail or typical Peruvian meal. - Detailed advice on transport or interesting spots in the area or the country (I've...
