Hi! We are Steve and Johanna, a couple who decided to buy a property with magical views and a shearing shed on the top of a mountain. We are a small theatre company and during the summer months we run Hotell Vagabond, a unique wagon hotel in Abbekås at the south coast of Sweden. The house is an old school with a theatre, restaurant and a gallery. Some years ago we renovated the house and turned it also into a small hotel, Hotell Vagabond, where visitors live in genuine Gypsy Wagons. In July and August we need help with running our hotel. Looking for house sitters while we go on holiday for 2 weeks. Youre welc9me to continue with us once we are back as we have a little cabin that sleeps 2. We have not booked anything ywt so flexible with dates from july to September. You would be staying alone without us and in charge of thw following: Watering polytunnel daily. And outside garden if its been hot for more than 5 days. Light weeding of garden. Feeding chickens and maybe getting escapees back to their pen. Doing airbnb changeover on site (1 hour max) You dont have to greet guests as its self check in. In exchange you can use our home as a base to explore Clare there is a ton to do around us. If you have a license we might be able to get you insured in our car. But not 100% yet. You can use tue veggies in the garden. Enjoy the peace and quiet of our land while being close to town. We will stock the fridge with foods you like before we leave.

This is a permaculture designed garden. We have 120 species of bamboo. fruit trees ducks chickens and two dogs and lots of friendly wildlife and many useful plants. we are a wholesale bamboo nursery and also make one off bamboo creations. We are a 10 min drive from Airlie beach in the Whitsundays with 72 islands to sail to. there are many ways a helper can help and learn about permaculture and bamboo. You will have your own room here with wifi and the food is fresh and healthy. We have self contained accommodation in the garden if you like. And if you love fishing we catch and cook seafood. We are a not for profit equestrian Facility working with able-bodied and disabled clients. We break and train horses for dressage, vaulting, jumping, trick riding, disabled riders, harness, mounted Police and entertainment. I am a EA coach and assessor worked and trained with horses all my life. The riding Centre is my peaceful place. We need people that can take a joke or two or maybe three. We need someone that can help with the general farm work, feeding Horses and if they’re exceptional rider help train the horses. For others there is always a chance to ride school Horses.
