Hello, I live with my mother and stepfather on a lifestyle property in Waipapa, Northland. Our property is on a kiwi bird zone and we hear them most nights; dogs and cats aren’t allowed so the native bird life flourish on our property eg Tui’s. We are 10 minute drive from Kerikeri; a rural town with many kiwifruit, lemon and mandarin orchards, farmers markets and historical and natural attractions. A good location to access the beaches of northland or visit the historic town of Russell or Paihai beach. We'd like a helper for household duties, care work and gardening. I need help with basic personal care (setting up for meals eg juicing or heating food, making the bed, doing washing, ironing, doing the dishes, passing things, cleaning, light cooking, and chopping vegetables). I am flexible with the hours - options to work a mix of morning, day or evening in a week. 28hrs per week (4hrs per day equivalent). 5 days minimum and open to long stays. If you are French the job will also i...

Learn about gardening, woodworking and find yourself on a journey to your soul in Macclesfield, South Australia Thank you for your interest in volunteering. We appreciate help, enjoy young people having an excuse to visit the beautiful and interesting places Adelaide, the hills and the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia have to offer with them. We have organic gardens with fruit trees, all sorts of berries, vegetable gardens with free roaming bantams, big layer hens, flower beds, lawns as well as a goat on paddocks and a cute house cat. 1 of our 4 kids, Katharina, is living next door with her partner. We live in a beautiful Island off Townsville in North Queensland, have a house with a Permaculture inspired garden, swimming pool and what it seems a lot of work in maintenance of home and garden, and would very much appreciate some help. At this particular moment we are looking for a carpenter or painter to help with some renovations. We offer a comfortable room and good food. Shereene (my wife) is a good cook. Hi ! Great HelpX - you get the house mostly to yourself. We have availability coming up but you need a car as the property is on Bruny Island 90 minutes from Hobart - ideal for couples or friends that are practical. Easy jobs. BRUNY ISLAND has BEACHES, FORESTS, BIRDS, NATURE, BONFIRE 🔥 and or course BBQ ! We are located at Adventure Bay on the South of the island so you need to catch a ferry. 3-4 hours work per day. Food & accommodation provided. Also Star-link WIFI It’s our holiday house. The ferries depart every 30 minutes from Kettering. We live & work in Hobart so we usually stay at our house in Hobart mid week Monday-Friday so that means you will be staying at the Bruny Island house alone or with the other helpers. Currently there’s none. Ideally this would suit friends or a couple. If you have any special skills like cooking, painting, etc tell me - but it’s fine if you don’t. . We have 2 bedrooms, a cabin, & 3 caravans that also have multiple beds - so we can sleep...

Hi! We've had a couple of Helpers (WOOFERS) and have really enjoyed the experience. I believe they have enjoyed their stay too. NOTE: We would definitely like a Helper (or couple) for the week 16-23 March to house sit. Our adult kids have moved out (one into Hamilton, the other over to Sydney), so it's just the two of us in a 5-bedroom house. We live on a rural lifestyle property, which is a 10-15 minute drive outside Hamilton city and a one-hour drive south of Auckland Airport. The property is just under 1 hectare - one-third is grounds and garden, and two-thirds is paddocks. We run 4 alpacas and a beef steer. We also have a cat called Bella and a huski-shepherd cross dog called Kayla that both live in the house so Helpers must be comfortable around cats and dogs. We're looking for guests to help around the house (cleaning, gardening, etc.) and property, which might include feeding and handling the alpacas (under our direction). We would also love it if you would cook an eveni...

Aloha and welcome to my Hawaiian-owned and operated farmstay, a small, homesteading project rooted in Native Hawaiian values, sustainability, and a true farm-to-table way of life. My goal is to grow, harvest, and share food directly from the ʻāina, providing nourishment for ourselves and our La Hui. while learning how to live simply, mindfully, and in harmony with the land. Situated on one acre on the east side of Hawaii. This māla produces tropical fruits, heirloom vegetables, and fresh eggs, all cultivated with care, presence, and respect for indigenous land stewardship practices. Helpers are invited to participate in planting, tending, harvesting, and preparing meals together, gaining hands-on knowledge of self-sufficiency, food sovereignty, and sustainable living. This is not a tourist experience, but a cultural exchange centered on healing through food, community, and Mālama i ke ʻĀina—caring for the land so it may care for us in return.

Kiaora, Shalom and hello to you!!! Our home is queer, arty and vegan, we are a quirky Kiwi married female couple living with 5 small dogs and 2 mini horses. We live rural near a town called Warkworth, 40 minutes drive ( by car ) north of Auckland CBD. We have hosted many people all over the world for over a decade, from Germany, France, Israel, Japan, China and so many more. We love meeting new people and potentially making new friends who just LOVE boardgames especially! :) We are: Jasmine and Sharyn. We are both currently designing board games. Sharyn is a dog groomer from home ( separate building ) and Jasmine works from home. When Jasmine is free and feeling okay she may show you some boardgames or even go on adventures. If you have interest in the board game design process she is happy to involve you including playtesting designs she is working on. Sometimes Sharyn also shares her game designs as well. Hi! We are a family of 4: Madalyn (that’s me) is a therapist and artist, Greg is a fisherman, Gray is our indoor/outdoor cat, and Olivine is our sweet baby born July 2025. We are looking for someone to help take care of Olivine, at most for a few hours a day, a few days per week, while I see my clients from home via Telehealth. Our home is a 5 minute walk from the ocean, with excellent snorkeling, coral reef, and fish, and whales in the winter. It’s a quiet community, warm and sunny all year, and not far from attractions like hiking, the volcano, beaches, and more. However it is pretty remote; the nearest stores are at least 20 minutes by car, though you can get coffee, avocados, eggs, macadamia nuts, and tropical fruit from nearby farm stands. Helpers get their own private apartment downstairs with bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and living room. Gray (cat) is not allowed in there so those with allergies have a cat-free zone. We like to share meals often and provide some basic groc...

AVAILABILITY we are currently booked until the end of February Hello! We’re Josie and Mel. We would love to share our quiet but playful home with you. We live in a welcoming and progressive neighbourhood in Hobart, Tasmania. It is our oasis from the crazy world. We are a queer couple: one a professional gardener (training to be a therapist) and one a teacher. We have many interests, are widely travelled and love meeting people. We are lucky to have the best of two worlds. Our house sits in the foothills of Mount Wellington with beautiful views surrounded by trees and bird song. We are also very close to bus services into the city, which is an 8-minute drive away. There’s a hammock on our deck and we have bush walking at our doorstep. We are regularly visited by wallabies, pademelons, cockatoos, ravens, honey eaters, and if lucky, a platypus in the creek. You are welcome to peruse our many books if you are interested in spirituality, environment, poetry and psychology. Our piano and...

SUMMER - February 2026 AVAILABILITY We seek help from about 15 March for about two weeks. Helpers looking for a farm stay that is both peaceful and busy are encouraged to enquire. CURRENT ACTIVITIES I, Evan, have had some valuable help maintaining our small engined for the hot summer. I've also done oil and filter changes, windshield wiper replacements and rust treatments on our vehicles. In any spare time, I am organising water for plants, fertilisers and mulch for trees, pruning stone fruit trees and general tidy up. So any help mowing lawns, hilling up potatoes, cooking and building compost would be great support at this time. Rosanna continues to tie up chillies and peppers, harvest crops (beans, corn, lettuce, tomatoes, zucchini) for Sunday markets. Help with cooking and those activities is also very supportive. LOCATION We are in Taranaki directly overlooking the Tasman Sea, a nearby beach with surf breaks to the southwest. Many travelers come here from Tongariro, Hobitton, o...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

Hello! We’re a small family - Matt, Tash and our baby girl Toni. We live on a relaxed 10 acre hobby farm with our two friendly dogs, sheep and chickens. We are located just 12 minutes from Warrnambool and Koroit, and about 25 minutes from Port Fairy. We’re surrounded by beaches and volcanic countryside. We’re looking for a helping hand around the property and in the garden with jobs like weeding, raking, planting, chainsawing (if experienced) and general maintenance around the garden and house. Most of the work is outdoors and can be quite physical, so it suits someone active with a positive, can do attitude. You’ll stay in either our spare room in our house, loft room in shed, or a fully equipped caravan, depending on availability. You’ll have access to Wi-Fi, all the usual amenities, a pool to cool down in and a theatre room to relax in during your downtime. We provide breakfast, lunch and dinner and healthy snacks. *Alert* For the upcoming 2026 season Billy & I have made the painful decision NOT to host international Helpers. Due to the current political climate in the U.S. we cannot in good conscience guarantee the safety of International travelers. If you happen to fit that bill, I would consider long and hard about coming to the United States. There are plenty of other countries to visit where you will be safe. Bee well and safe travels...Kate We have a small farm in South Central Idaho, 45 minutes from Sun Valley. Originally, an ornamental tree farm we soon realized that edibles are where it's at in these uncertain times. We are seeking helpers for our growing season between May and early November. We ask for 6 hours of work per day and that any volunteers be over 21 years of age. We provide a travel trailer/caravan with a double bed, kitchen, dining area, and access to our "annex" house with a full bath & washer/dryer. We have an island retreat in Nelson (near Motueka) on 10 acres and a home in central Nelson. There is plenty to do with weeding, taking care of the garden and cutting grass. Our beach house, near Motueka is on a small island. The ideal helper(s) is self sufficient, detail oriented and a self starter. Our island retreat is about 100 metres off Port Motueka, then another kilometre along the beach, facing Tasman bay and across from the Abel Tasman National Park. Our home in central Nelson is a 5 minute walk from down town. We have 2 Kayaks and an SUP. So hope you like the water. The work consists of gardening and general housekeeping. An average of about 3 hours work per day is sufficient. Recommend a week stay or more because of the logistics of getting you there and showing you around etc. It is an "off the grid" solar home. There is a limited wifi that is sufficient for email, and internet. We will supply some but not all food. (depends on the situation) We usually h...

OUR Ecovillage (1999) is looking towards a creative and fun season of committed volunteers who wish to work within a collective project opportunity. We are working on the next 25yr Vision and with this are building a very large public art installation project (earthen/cob Dragon sculpture with lots of mosaic work!). OUR 'regenerative living learning journey' forms the platform for the efforts we put towards making a difference in the world. We work within intercultural/intergenerational/interfaith/inter-nation restorative justice framework on our farm and work with research teams on soil/wastewater/energy systems design/etc, and permaculture education projects with learners from local to global! This means we are working with: the gardens, livestock/poultry, food forests, natural building (earthen, strawbale, plaster projects, finishing work, carpentry, etc), food preservation, yummy kitchen crafting for shared meals, mosaic and mural artwork, supporting Eco-tourism & farm guests ...

Hi ! Great HelpX - you get the house mostly to yourself. BRUNY ISLAND has BEACHES, FORESTS, BIRDS, NATURE, BONFIRE 🔥 and or course BBQ ! We are located at Adventure Bay on the South of the island so you need to catch a ferry. 3-4 hours work per day.

Helping time can be up to 4 hours a day, sometimes a bit less,...
