We have an organic fruit tree nursery, along with many other projects on our land: several fruit orchards, chickens and bees, growing our own vegetables and herbs and trying to be independent in many ways. The six people who are staying are: Ajan, Eric, Veronique, Elisabeth, Natalie and Camille. Each of us have arrived here one by one, at first just interested in helping out in the place, and then as we found that this lifestyle was for us, deciding to stay for longer. Close by there is a 24-hour convenience supermarket, gas station, shopping mall, discount supermarket and large 24-hour pharmacy/ chemist warehouse. Tasks that are available to be done may include: general light gardening, removing weeds, cleaning gutters, basic paving, cleaning, washing of car, vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, filing paperwork. I live in an old farm and farmhouse in Normandy. I have converted a cottage into a holiday cottage with 4 bedrooms (all en suite) and one barn into another. I also had a Yurt (now gone but the pictures are still there !!) and a campsite.
