We have lots of gorgeous farm animals, including cows, sheep, chickens, pigs, as well as “Ziggy” our beloved dog! Please note we CANNOT sign for the 88 day visa as we are not a commercial farm.🌻 Hi, we are looking for one or two keen and healthy helpers to work with us on a range of tasks. We have a small berry orchard and vegetable gardens with roaming Guinea fowl, friendly kangaroos and our cute indoor house cats. The rest of the property is natural woodlands and we try to live as sustainably as possible. Work at moment is raking and clearing around our property, weeding the berry area and planting seedlings in our garden. We have built our own unique home and there are still some parts to complete. Helpers with some skills are welcome but an actual interest in experiencing a more sustainable life during your stay with us is more important. We don't take bookings in advance but if you are ready to come help now or soon contact us. Please tell us what skills you have, your interests and WHY you selected our place when you apply. Hi, it's Stephen and Philamae. We have a beautiful property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely now that its 4 year build has just completed, and we are running it as holiday accommodation! The place will get even more enjoyable and beautiful as we create this funky mini-retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer and eagle.. See our Airbnb listing with over 60 photos via our website link below. Generally we look for Helpxers to help with the gardening and house cleaning. Across Nov/Dec/Jan it will be a lot of room cleaning/making up for our Airbnb setup, so we need somebody who cleans to a high standard and ideally likes cleaning & housekeeping! The next specific needs are: a) looking for helpers for 21 December onwards for mainly housekeeping/cleaning and...

If you REALLY love dogs, cats and nature and are looking for and role that can lead to working your 88 days for visa sign off or a permanent paid role... We need a kind and fit person who would be happy to do all the jobs needed to keep our dogs healthy and happy. This includes a LOT of house cleaning, feeding, laundry and dog washing. Your accommodation would start of in our vintage caravan and once our current paid helper leaves, you would share a modern two-bedroom home with our other helper (currently that’s Angela and Jordan who are from Taiwan and Germany). This is a great experience for those who are fit and love dogs, cats, cleaning and organising and want to spend some time on a lovely property in a nice home full of dogs. Or you may want to gain the skills to volunteer at a rescue shelter, become a dog trainer, or maybe you might just want to know how to create a create a really great dog of your own. A...

...The Quiet Retreat, a Lifestyle Property...!!! I am located in the north of the East Coast of Tasmania. With only the help of real hard working wwoofer's/ HelpX'ers , I started to build the house and clear the land here 25 years ago, so this place is a BIG BIG credit to all my helpers who worked hard, enjoyed their stay and left their footprint..! I feel that for the helpers who come here, maybe, apart from the usual work, self improvement/development could be one of their priorities... a good library of books is available and some very nice music...and of course "grumpy" me and please understand that I am not a good cook, so help there is esp. welcome, vegetarian only. The good cook mentioned in a lot of reviews has moved on . In the past I practiced meditation/looked at Zen/Osho/Vipassana etc, now I am in the winter years of my life ...LOL..( YES, read the latest feedback carefully, "he says with a smile).. I love music and most of the time there is music in the house. Thi...

Our family grow beef cattle in a picturesque area of Victoria. Our cattle farm is 1.5 hours north-east of Melbourne in the Glenburn valley, half way between the small country towns of Yarra Glen (25km away) and Yea (25 km away). The wine region of the Yarra Valley is 20mins away by car. You will be staying in a rustic farm cottage with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living and kitchen areas with basic amenities such as water, power, fans, wood heater. We do not live here, we live 15 mins away at another property. We will supply some linen and all kitchen tools. You will have the freedom to explore our property with its rolling hills and running creeks and learn about ethical and sustainable beef production. We primarily need assistance to do various types of work for eg plant native trees, painting fences and sheds but if you have building skills you can help to renovate the old farm cottage eg painting, rendering, sanding, carpentry. We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

🏡 Stay in a Unique Wildlife Sanctuary near Currumbin Beach – Help with Gardening, House Projects & More I’m Deborah, and I live in a peaceful bushland home on the ridge in Elanora, on the beautiful Gold Coast (Southeast Queensland). The property is part of a koala sanctuary — wallabies regularly visit the backyard, and if you’re patient, you might spot a koala in the treetops. You’ll definitely hear them at night! Despite the natural setting, we’re only a 5-minute drive from Currumbin Beach and close to local shopping centres, bushwalks, weekend markets, and iconic surf spots. 🌿 About the Stay: I’ve recently moved back into my home and am still getting everything properly set up after a long and difficult few years dealing with insurance and rebuilding. The house is a work in progress — but a beautiful one — and helpers have always been welcome here. Sleeping arrangements currently include inflatable bedding, and there are still some basic household things being sorted out. Most gu...

HI HELPERS!!! WELCOME TO JOHN`S FUN FACTORY!!! BULLETIN: I live in a beautiful isolated Tasmanian mountain valley surrounded by world heritage rain forest and some VERY TALL Trees!(but not as big as the Hinoki trees at AliShan in Taiwan!!) Most of my property is a nature reserve, but I have a 2 Hectare orchard, berry garden and vegetable garden which are all useless! The possums, wallabies and birds eat most of these (trees included!) so we live on ice cream and chocolate biscuits instead! Please come and help us eat the biscuits so I don`t get too fat! Oh, by the way, all the Wallabies are called "Skippy" and they don`t mind a bit of apple or banana occasionally. I have been a volunteer host for 18 years and I have had more than 1700(Yes!!!you read it correctly!) fabulous, lovely, wonderful volunteers stay with me. Many of them have come back for second, third…or even 10th visits!!!!! Work can be really diverse including tree planting, mowing grass, helping to install forest fire...

ABSOLUTELY,No smoking or vaping on the property at all. No exceptions. I HAVE RECENTLY HAD PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT FOLLOWED THIS GUIDELINE. I prefer to breathe clean air. NO SMELLY, PERFUMED SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, BODYWASH SUNSCREENS OR DEODORANTS PLEASE, I CAN SUPPLY ALTERNATIVES. How about heading south to the most beautiful part of Australia? Or if you are already in Tasmania, that's a bonus. We are always welcoming and love to show off our stunning island home. Work would involve getting the garden ready for planting this Spring and other various farm jobs. Nothing too hard or difficult. I'd like some help clearing and establishing some walking tracks through the forest on the property. I prefer people with experience in gardening and farm work. Looking for someone from now, through the next few weeks. When you first contact me [or any other host] it is very helpful to tell us what date you would like to arrive and leave. It helps us to co- ordinate things so as many people as ...

We (Riley, Serene and Bood) enjoy living in harmony with nature and each other. This place is a beautiful property high in the hills above Cairns, that borders World Heritage rain forest wilderness on three sides, and enjoys breathtaking views over the Atherton Tableland. There are permanent creeks, waterfalls, rock pools (for swimming) and a very pleasant climate, without the high humidity that the coast can experience (in summer). That said it can get very wet in summer; our wet season. Abundant wildlife including tree kangaroos, possums, platypus, cassowary and hundreds of other bird species. The property practices holistic management, organics and permaculture principles. Work is mostly gardening, orchard and household duties. Most happy to utilise your unique skills and gifts, where possible. We like to take turns cooking meals, encourage food literacy (from garden to plate), and greater awareness of self-sufficiency. Accommodation for one or two helpers, in our beautiful ...

You need to commit to least one week however you could stay longer ...

You would of course have dogs or cats sleeping on your bed too!

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay.
