We are Karin and Joost living in the beautiful Adelaide Hills 50 km from Adelaide and 10 km from Mount Barker. Our home is on a 30-ha rural property where we have been for 25 years initially with our children and now by ourselves with Alfie our cat. We have a large garden (veggies & flowers etc.) and a small orchard surrounded by paddocks and bush. You can make walks on our property and along Mount Barker Creek enjoying vegetation and wildlife, or just sit on porch and enjoy beautiful views incl. spectacular sun rises. A separate ‘granny’ flat is available as accommodation which includes 2 rooms and basic kitchen facilities. We regularly go back and forward to Mount Barker and without own transportation you can enjoy cafes, shops and cinema plus connection by direct bus to Adelaide. In exchange for accommodation and food, we are seeking some help with the gardening (weeding), housework, property improvement (landscaping). We expect your help 4 hour per day (20 hours per week – you ca...

Do you love nature? what about off grid living? How about great food and great company? How about learning some new skills? We need your help with our dream. We have built an earthship (with lots of help already) and want to share in this type of building design. We are located in a gorgeous mountain/ bush setting, totally off grid. We make electricity from solar, and our water comes from a mountain spring. The tasks we do are different everyday as we hope to teach many things to our fellow travellers. Some jobs include; cob making, bottle brick making, rendering, gardening, landscaping, working on a hugle wall (a living wall), harvesting and much more. No experience necessary, just your creative loving hands. Though, if you are skilled in carpentry, construction and earth dwellings then we could use your expertise. Such is the life on a property in the bush. You can sleep in a hut and camping space is also available. We are totally on solar and there is wifi available for 1hour per da...

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature couples as applicants are now open. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking and non-vaping) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is not raining o...

Our farm is located on the coast in Bookara, which is located 20km north of Dongara and 45km south of Geraldton. Dongara is situated roughly 360km from Perth and is a beautiful town. Has its own port also, which is called Port Denison, so twin towns! Port Denison is renowned for having some of the biggest Cray Fishing boats in Australia. They are great to see. Geraldton is a 30min drive from our farm and is a rural city. We are surrounded by some great things, the Midwest has to offer. Our Wild Flowers are one of the best sights to see also, you will see some unbelievable wild flowers thru August and September. Our farm is situated in a perfect location for anyone looking at seeing any Midwest attractions. My family and I are looking at setting up a short stay accommodation destination, for people who would love to experience the, Sun, Surf and fishing and all the other Midwest attractions. We would love some handy helpers, who would love to see the Midwest and be apart of the set ...

Are you looking for somewhere to have unique experiences? We have hosted lots of helpers over the years, and love the different people we have met. We enjoy the cultural exchange and look forward to meeting you. We are a family with two kids, on a small farm with some sheep, chickens, dogs, cats and horses on the banks of the Macquarie River, at Narromine, in central NSW. We have a comfortable 4 bedroom house and will provide all meals and accommodation in exchange for help with a variety of tasks, a bit of gardening, house work, cooking and general light farm duties. In winter we usually spend time checking and fixing the fences, collecting firewood, controlling weeds, as well as maintaining the vegetable garden and new orchard. Happy for people who love animals and outside work to contact us. Also looking for some farm and house work help too. We try to grow everything that we eat so we have an extensive veggie garden and orchard if you like working in nature! If you like soccer (...

DO YOU LOVE ❤️ OYSTERS? 🦪🦪🦪🦪🦪🥂 If the answer is YES come and work with us ! If not that's fine as we have lots of nice food to offer. Work for 3-4 hours then we will have an amazing dinner. Often oysters. You can stay with us at our holiday house with water views. Or you can just come for the day and catch the last ferry home after dinner. The option might exist to stay longer but that’s by special request as you’d be alone & would need a car. This would suit singles, (if there's other staying) couples or a group of friends wanting a short but fun adventure. Sometimes we have small numbers just 2 people, other times large numbers but this is usually only when we are there to arrange all the food etc. BRUNY ISLAND has BEACHES, FORESTS, BIRDS, NATURE, and so much more. We are located at Adventure Bay on the South of the island which is roughly a 90 minute journey from Hobart. The first ferry to Bruny island is around 6.50am, then every 30 minutes after no bookings requir...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON. Need help with a garden clean up, at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed(inside and out 🤣,) skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town. It is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay, 2 hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. Darwin family living on 5 acres in semi rural Howard Springs, which is about 30km from the centre of Darwin so recommend that visitors have their own transport to easily get around. If not there is limited public transport and family members will be happy to get a lift however it is more like a rural village but still accessible to Palmerston and Darwin centre. Ideal for a couple or two friends travelling with own vehicle but open to options. Swimming pool to cool off after catching some sun. We have available two spare bedrooms in our traditional Australian family home that are next to the family bathroom and toilet (not used much by family members). One bedroom has Queen size bed and the other bedroom has a king single mattress on the floor as it is usually used as a sitting room. You would be living with Mum and Dad who have two adult kids aged 18 & 20 still living at home, as well as three friendly dogs. Hello Helpx-ers! We only do HelpX when the timing is right - right now we're open to Late October to early December 2026, or end Jan 2027 - mid Feb 2027. We prefer couples as they are company for each other in sharing this experience. Sometimes we have specific jobs we want done, other times it is taming the large wild garden, deep cleaning the house. Tell us of any handy experience you have that could help us busy family. In return: We offer experienced hosts who are used to welcoming Helpxers and my husband is an amazing cook! We enjoy sharing experiences and a glass of wine with our helpers. Living with us is our son (17yo), sometimes our adult daughter visits from interstate, and another daughter lives independently near by, multiple animals (dog, cats) and a large terraced bush garden. We have a pool and we live in a very quiet area with the Garigal National Park behind us and beside us. Although there are buses, someone with own transport is best as the buses do not run ...

We are a mature aged couple working from home and are looking to find an enthusiastic couple, or single person, who can help with general garden maintenance , eg weeding, spraying blackberries and wood splitting etc. In return, we are offering a private room and own bathroom ( see in photos below) in our lovely home. Accomodation and all meals are provided. ( free wi-fi is also available). We are in a quiet and secluded bush setting, and often have kangaroos and wallabies feeding on our property, but still only 3km from the main highway and station. (Melb CBD is 1 hour via train.) It is essential that you are a dog lover! (We have 2) Our 2 Whippets are quite old now, but very friendly and lazy! This would be an excellent opportunity for anyone requiring 2 weeks of accommodation, possibly longer, to share our easy going family life style. We are DEFINITELY a NON SMOKING household, and would prefer not to cater for vegetarians only. The work involves weeding, moving mulch, splitting...

Welcome! I am Fern. I live together with my 4 year old daughter on our small, off grid and very humble farmlet in Guildford, Central Victoria. Guildford is home to one of Victoria's largest river red gums. It is over 500 years old. It's a very small town with only a general store, primary school & pub, half way between Castlemaine & Daylesford. We have been on this land for 1 and a half years & have started using permaculture principals & design. So far, we have completed the fence line, (to keep the rabbits out) & joyously have begun some planting both in the food forest, cottage garden & in the veggie patch. We always have seeds growing in our tiny greenhouse. Fern has a background in florist & plant nursery work and has completed a PDC. Currently a full time Mama, her interest lie in walking softly on this earth, while the little one loves watching the abundant birdlife in our vast open skies! I love kirtan and am busy immersing ourselves in the local community. There maybe a proj...

We are primary producers in the eliglible postcode(4854) for 88 day sign off for the 2nd and 3rd year visa. We operate a small husband and wife online plant nursery and in our free time we enjoy taking a wwoofer or 2 out on regular boating trips catching barramundi and reef fish, crocodile spotting, fishing and exploring the islands, snorkeling around the Great Barrier Reef and Whale and Dolphin spotting, ... so we would prefer folks that have an interest in boating/fishing and happy to tie their own fishing knots and set the anchor and dont get sea-sick....The more enthusiastic you are to help preparing the boats and cleaning up after the trips the more enthusiastic we are to take you out.... and the boating when the weather suits is a reward for your hard work in helping us out....we prefer to host people for 2 weeks or longer and this will give the best chance of getting the full experience as well as making a meaningful contribution to our lives and property.. From mid- September...

Next vacancies likely to be 2nd week of September. We appreciate help with DIY repairs and maintenance, timber work, help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We hatched two goslings in mid July and are hand-rearing them, real characters! We start 4 hours outside work at 08.00 hr, five mornings a week and at 9 am on Sundays. Saturday is your day off. So most of the work will be outside, based out of a well-equipped workshop and/or in our vegetable garden and hen and duck coops. ‍ Opportunities on your day off include fishing, sailing, snorkeling, weather permitting of course, rainforest walks and river swimming (Mossman River at The Gorge) and free nature tours on crocodile spotting boats on the Daintree River with the #Daintreerivercruisecentre (as Dave sometimes drives their boats and tour-guides for them when needed). We are establishing a m...

Room and simple breakfast of toast, tea or coffee, I can show you where to find free bread and there is generally some rice or pasta you can use, occasionally some fruit and vegetables, or other food included but not guaranteed. I have a minimum stay of 2 weeks and a maximum stay of 3 months. Ipswich is a lovely place in itself and is about an hours drive to Brisbane, about an hour to the Gold Coast, about an hour and a half to the Sunshine Coast or about an hour to the mountains in Toowoomba. Many visitors to Australia assume it will be hot here and in summer it is, in winter the temperature can be very cold. Make sure to pack some warm winter clothing if travelling in the winter months. I don't have fans or air conditioning so the temperature is what it is. It's hot in summer and cold in winter. Electricity has become too expensive for me to run heating or cooling appliances. I am not on a farm, it is a residential block in Ipswich. My house is small and cluttered and surrounded...

We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. There are also several other islands nearby that can be explored including North Stradbroke Island that has wonderful beaches and walks and lots of wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, turtles and dolphin and - from June to October - humpback whales. Over the next two years we will renovate and paint the home, install new kitchen and two bathrooms. Graham has some woodworking skill but needs help during that time with various tasks and we are willing to give you a comfortable bed, good food and company and access to bathroom and washing machine in exchange for 4 hours help per day, 5 days per week. Our preference is for a single person or couple who have some skil...

Welcome!

All camp sites are located in beautiful natural bushland settings and beside a stream. You will be allowed to have small campfires in the evenings. Respect for the land is very important as this land is habitat for many native animals who roam freely around this land.. If you would like to come, stay and help me here, please send me a message ! I can usually help traveller/helpers locate many other things.., like work opportunities, free food services and acces...
