Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing, and energizing our own water though Ionisation. Water conservation is part of life for me. You can come to Maryborough via plane, bus or train. The Hervey Bay Airport is only 30min from my home. There are meanwhile several bus companies to choose from. If you use the train please book Maryborough town from the drop down menu. The shuttle bus from the train station in Maryborough west (20 min out of town) is free of charge if it is pre-booked. As international travelers you qualify for a concession card on Queensland tra...

We welcome helpers during busy periods on our family run farm, which is located 2.5 hours south of Perth. We have ~10 000 sheep and 750ha of crops. Our three very friendly sheep dogs work with us, but they're not able to do all jobs, no matter how willing they are :D If you're fit, practical and don't mind getting your hands dirty, we'd welcome your company. In exchange we will provide free food and accommodation, pleasant hosts and a real Australian farm experience. See the list of main jobs for each month at the end of our listing. However, it's normally quite mixed with other jobs like fencing, machinery maintenance and sheep work scattered throughout. Our farm is close to the small town of Darkan, with ~ 600 residents in the local area and opportunities for our helpers to meet and socialise with other locals. There is public transport to the nearby town of Williams or locality of Arthur River by TransWA Bus(Perth-Albany) where we can arrange to pick up visitors. We are lookin...

Our small farm (https://little-farm.com.au) sits in Northern Victoria, where we grow fruit and vegetables, plant trees, and learn as we go. Tim, a retired engineer, is always building or fixing something. Beth is a teacher and health practitioner who also teaches at university. She tends a rose garden of over 400 fragrant bushes. Early mornings here smell incredible. The property includes an organic vegetable garden, orchard, berries, herbs, and a music room with a baby grand piano. If you play, bring your instrument. We’re close to the Murray River. Big skies, glowing sunrises and sunsets, and rich birdlife surround us. Magpies are part of daily life here, in sound and in art across the farm. Nights are clear and full of stars. Many people arrive tired and leave feeling genuinely restored. What we’re looking for Willing, reliable help Someone who takes initiative and keeps shared spaces tidy A careful learner who asks when unsure You’ll be guided at first, then work more indepen...

**We are currently seeking a helpxer to help us with some specific yard chores, mulching, digging, painting, weeding, cleaning; landscaping carpentry skills would be advantageous. If you are a couple we would require one person to help in the yard, and the other to prepare meals and do general housekeeping work. I'm sorry but we can't help with a visa. **** We are an active, easygoing couple in our early 60's living in a spacious house not far from the beach. We have a young couple renting the 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor of the house. We like to swim, surf, walk, bike, eat healthy food. After 16 years, and hosting almost 100 HelpXers, at our property in Larnook, in the Northern Rivers region, Steve and I have moved to a new place in Tenterfield, at the northern end of the New England Tableland. All of our reviews up until September 2024, are related to our previous place. We are now ready to accept HelpXers at our new place. Steve and I are a gay couple and we offer a high quality experience (as you can see from our reviews) and so we expect our Helpers to pitch in and help. The more you put into your time here at Tenterfield, the more you will get out of it. We have lots of small work jobs at present including lots of weeding and gardening, mowing, establishing herb and vege gardens, pruning and cutting back and some other work. Our property is situated a few kilometers west of the town of Tenterfield, in a quiet, rural area. We usually expect around 4 hours per day of work in exchange for all meals, your own room, access to internet (for checking emails, looki...

My two sisters, Judy, Margaret and I bought the farm in November 2021 and are turning it into an organic permaculture farm. We use no chemicals or poisons and that's why there's a lot of hand weeding etc. We are very flexible and easy going. farm is set in the picturesque Tamborine Mountain with amazing rain-forest walking trails and stunning waterfalls. We have a beautiful private campervan accommodation close to the house where you will be able to access Wi-Fi and the use of a shared bathroom, plus a small caravan. Or occasionally a bedroom with queen size bed in the house. We need help with weeding and planting and depending on the time of year, harvesting/picking avocados. I also need help with my bee hives on occasion. We don't expect you to work all day, all we ask is a fair exchange, usually 18 - 20 hours per week. Vegan meals will be provided (Judy is an amazing cook). You will have to buy your own non-vegan food. There is a full kitchen set up in the campervan and cara...

I seek mature travellers who are travelling around the South West in their own Camper Van or Car with tent etc. Traveller/helpers need to be self contained but I provide access to clean toilet and shower facilities. I have some really nice set up camp sites here - the sites are private, clean, safe and located in beautiful natural bushland settings. If you would like to come, stay and help me here, please send me a message ! I can usually help traveller/helpers locate many other things.., like possible work services, free food services and access to various beaches etc. I like to show people how they can live on the land sustainably, how they can build their own sustainable homes and grow their own food...., using what is around them, to adapt to their environment and adopt permaculture principals to suit their own needs. I have lived on my own little permaculture farm beside the Leeuwin/Naturaliste National Park forest since 1982. I have built my own home using local granite s...

MINIMUM STAY TWO WEEKS! -TWO WEEKS MINIMUM STAY! As our aim is to maintain a mix of nationalities so that everyone has a chance to practice their English. We have up to 4 HelpXers at a time. They become like a large family, it is unnecessarily disruptive if people only want a short stay. We are very close (10 mins) to several great Newcastle beaches. We are NOT a farm; we are city. Interesting Homestay situation. Large 6 bedroom house in the Newcastle suburb of Garden Suburb. Close to the famous Newcastle beaches and Hunter Valley wineries. The beaches are in easy access only about 15 Minutes away. We usually have 3 /4 HelpX - plus my two of my four sons, Zac 25yrs and Asa 23yrs so there is always plenty going on. We are looking for people who want a working holiday in the beautiful Hunter region of NSW. There is so much variety of things to do that we can generally find a niche for most skill sets. whether it is cooking, gardening, cleaning, painting or carpentry. We hav...

We are a small family run winemaking operation based in the stunning Margaret River region of Western Australia. In September 2026 we require the assistance of a female live in helper to support our 15 and 17 year old daughters with everyday living whilst my husband and I go to work in Italy for 3 weeks. Our eldest has her licence and a car and is able to provide transport if needed but it would be ideal for the helper to have their own car as we are located on a beautiful farm 15 minutes south of Margaret River. We are looking for a fun friendly companion to oversea everyday living. Our girls are both very mature, well mannered and will be expected to clean after them selves and contribute to cooking etc but the presence of a responsible adult in the house whist we are away will make everyone feel at ease. The exchange would be accommodation and food for evening meal x 4 per week and company as needed. Assistance with feeding animals (Pygmy Goats and tamworth pigs and chickens) li...

****VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT ANAM CARA THIS JUNE 2026! We've just completed our May volunteer month, and what a beautiful time was had. It's hard to put into words the sense of the radical act of revolution these gatherings elicit. Opportunities for being together in a way that is carefully curated for healing, connection with land, health, peace, and authenticity are becoming harder and harder to achieve as the world gets ever-more heavy. But somehow, the Anam Cara recipe delivers deep kinship connection between participants time and time again. If you'd like to join us for some or all of this June's volunteer month, please get in touch. Participants who have stayed with us before are welcome to drop in for short stays, newcomers will need to spend a minimum of 1 week. You will have your own lovely accommodation (private room or glamping tent), shared bathrooms, full access to all living facilities, and delicious organic food. The work exchange is about 20 hours a week. Each person...

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature single people are open now. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is not raining or too hot. ...

We are a mature aged couple working from home and are looking to find an enthusiastic couple, or single person, who can help with general garden maintenance , eg weeding, spraying blackberries and wood splitting etc. In return, we are offering a private room and own bathroom ( see in photos below) in our lovely home. Accomodation and all meals are provided. ( free wi-fi is also available). We are in a quiet and secluded bush setting, and often have kangaroos and wallabies feeding on our property, but still only 3km from the main highway and station. (Melb CBD is 1 hour via train.) It is essential that you are a dog lover! (We have 2) Our 2 Whippets are quite old now, but very friendly and lazy! Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...

If you love wildlife, the outdoors, great views and good food, send us an email (only emails from this site will be responded to). This is very much a cultural exchange (for us and for you) as you will be in our family home sharing our lifestyle. NO SMOKERS OR VEGETARIANS PLEASE. We prefer our helpers to stay 2 weeks or more. Work outside is a major part of what we do so expect to be outside on a rural property as part of the experience. Please message us through this platform to allow us to view your profile The property is located 60km South of Brisbane and 20km West of the Gold Coast on the upper North slope of Mt Tamborine, 320m above sea level. We are surrounded by National Parks and abundant wildlife. The property is 6Ha with a sub-tropical climate and has great country views to the North up to 140km on a clear day. We’re close to the Murray River. Big skies, glowing sunrises and sunsets, and rich birdlife surround us. Magpies are part of daily life here, in sound and in art across the farm. Hi, it's Stephen and Philamae here. We have a beautiful rural property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely and we are running it as holiday accommodation as we move towards turning it into a funky retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer. A pair of the endangered and majestic wedge-tailed eagles live 1km away and often soar above us. This link has a lot more photos of our place : https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/1404048948970319721 (we have a series of 7 wellness retreats running 5 June to end August: see www.sherwoodloves.com.au/retreats-overview ) The next specific needs are: a) early August onwards - Mostly cleaning and bedrooms resetting, & some gardening. Generally we like stays of 4+ weeks but in this case we'd also be happy to host for a short...

We welcome you to join us on our beautiful 78-acre Organic Vineyard, Berry and Citrus Farm in Denmark, Western Australia. 🍃 Located just 3km from the town centre, with stunning views to Mount Lindesay and the Scotsdale hills, we have two adjoining farms that were once a commercial organic berry farm and citrus farm, which we are regenerating. We have lots of gorgeous farm animals, including cows, sheep, chickens, pigs, as well as “Ziggy” our beloved dog! We have been busy regenerating the berries and citrus trees, have planted a vineyard (to make our own biodynamic natural wine!), weeding out the invasive kikuyu grasses, building new fences, planting trees, establishing permaculture gardens, pruning and expanding the orchards, practicing regenerative grazing for our animals, as well as undertaking some amazing building projects - including a new house!! 🍀 We are looking for an enthusiastic couple to help us to create our vision using regenerative agriculture, permaculture and biod...

**We are currently seeking a helpxer to help us with some specific yard chores, mulching, digging, painting, weeding, cleaning; landscaping carpentry skills would be advantageous. If you are a couple we would require one person to help in the yard, and the other to prepare meals and do general housekeeping work. The window we have available is from now until mid June, but we can't commit to a long stay as we work away. We are a family run business operating an Oyster Farm on Moreton Island plus a retail shop on the property selling fresh seafood. We are happy to accept travellers and have had some wonderful experiences with wwoofers already. We offer accommodation and food in exchange for work. Accommodation is a studio apartment separate from the main house. We generally only pick up people on a Thursday or Friday from North Stradbroke Island in our boat. Duties include, building water infrastructure, making oyster bags, culling and sorting Oysters, general farm hand on the land base and grading of oyster. A working day normally starts at 8am and finishes around 2pm generally and breaks for morning tea and lunch of course.

We are a small family run winemaking operation based in the stunning Margaret River region of Western Australia. In September 2026 we require the assistance of a female live in helper to support our 15 and 17 year old daughters with everyday living whilst my husband and I go to work in Italy for 3 weeks.
