We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. Also 6 chicken, so we always have fresh eggs. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown edible garden. We're about to get ducks in addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We like to work with fun and laughter and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out. Be yourself and join the family... We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Please note that there's a minimum of 1 week stay, we do not like to be used as a pit...

We are seeking 1–2 helpers to assist our family at our home. The household includes myself, my 3-year-old child, my mother, and a 10-year-old. What we’re looking for: Ideally, we’d love a couple, but we’re also happy to hear from single applicants. Daily tasks include general household cleaning such as vacuuming, dishes, mopping, and wiping down any marks on walls, as well as helping with meals and occasionally cooking. There’s also some outdoor upkeep, like sweeping the concrete areas around the front, sides, and back of the house. As we’re still in the process of moving in, we’ll be unpacking boxes gradually over the coming months, so we’d really appreciate help with organising and unpacking as we go. We’ll also need assistance moving some beds from the upstairs bedroom down to a downstairs room. From time to time, there are additional jobs such as mowing, whipper snipping, and general yard maintenance. We also have a few one-off projects, including cutting back and removing som...

I'm on the lookout for a strong male (or two), or a couple, for a few weeks or more. (Some have stayed for much longer). I'd love to have someone, anytime from now, to help me with general garden stuff, and bits and pieces of projects. Always something new to do here. No skills is fine, just a bit of strength and willingness, but some handy-man skills would be useful too. I also would sometimes love some help with a bit of house maintenance /cleaning and brush cutting etc. I live in a beautiful silent forest valley dwelling with about an acre of garden. It's a wildlife refuge abundant with bird and wild life. It's 7-8 mins from charming Mullumbimby with it's farmers and general markets and cafe culture. Stuff for young and older 25mins, from beautiful Byron Bay and 20 from Brunswick heads, so lots of beaches and surf etc Also lots of walks. I would like someone who can speak English as there will be lots of communication involved. It's definitely best to have a car. You'll have ...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Not much work to do here now, so I mostly only take 1 person at a time. Not the place just to get a free room.for a while, but also not the place if you get bored easily You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Rang...

Hi to who ever may read this!!! ???? We are a family of 5 + 1 dog. We are both from the small island of Tasmania, Australia. We have been together for 15 years, and have been lucky enough to have travelled overseas often including spending a year backpacking in Europe and 5 months backpacking in Asia. We live in the tourist town of Stanley, where we both work and also operate an ebike and surfboard hire business. We have a home here in Tasmania that we have been renovating for the past year. It shares a property with a pizza restaurant. The house is 120 yaars old and had been left to ruin for the past 5 which has left it needing some love. We have tasks around the property which could include things such as cleaning, gardening, painting, cooking, and labour type work based on your skill set. Part of the house is new and complete where you will stay and food will be provided. We live within walking distance to beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops. We are eager to show people some...

We live in the Dandenong Ranges, a lush, green mountain wonderland just outside Melbourne. Think towering trees, birdsong, misty mornings, walking tracks, and small villages where everyone knows the good coffee spots. Our home sits in a popular tourist area, but it’s peaceful and leafy, with that rare balance of feeling tucked away while still being well connected. We’re within walking distance of a train station with a direct line to Melbourne, so city adventures are an easy day trip. We’re offering a fully furnished private room in our home in exchange for help in our backyard - the fun, hands-on kind. The work is mostly creating garden paths, shaping outdoor spaces, light landscaping, and general outdoor tidying. Nothing heavy, nothing commercial. We also love when helpers bring ideas and creative input. Work expectations: We ask for 15 hours per week, usually across 5 days (around 3 hours per day). You’re welcome to structure your time in a way that suits you. For example, doing ...

I live in a 5 bedroom house with a pool in the suburb of Robina, Gold Coast. You will have your own room with a double or single bed with a shared bathroom. On my days off, I’d be happy to take you to the beach, go kayaking, hike in a national park, visit local markets, or even go camping or on a road trip. I can also help you practise your English if you'd like. I'm looking for someone who can give a hand around the house with things like light gardening, basic painting, cleaning, and general upkeep. If you enjoy sharing your culture, I’m also open to language exchange and yoga or wellness activities. Nothing too heavy – just a few hours a day in exchange for a comfortable place to stay. It’s a great way to experience the Gold Coast while helping out in a friendly, relaxed home environment.

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

Townsville is a tourist hub, with access to beach, mountains, reef, rainforest and bush. Cranbrook is a leafy suburb across the river from the university, close to Riverway (free freshwater swimming lagoon, with art gallery) and shops, and on the bus route. There are large trees around my house, and there is always gardening or raking to do. My mother lives in a house 3 minutes away, and I help her with her garden. Accommodation is a granny flat with a powder room attached. There is a fold out double couch, plus a single bed mattress if required. You will share the bathroom and kitchen - in exchange for gardening, maintenance, painting, cooking or housework. Must love dogs - my dogs like to oversee human pursuits like digging, weeding and walking. I can assist with transport to local hiking spots, beach, or parks, or can pick you up from train or bus station. Prefer helpers who are non-smokers with family-friendly values, and able to work unsupervised when I go out. Also, To...

We are a retired couple, enjoying a peaceful life on our 2.5 acres, surrounded by farm land overlooking the Strzelecky Ranges. We have two dogs, Shadow who's 14 and Daisy 4, and 9 chickens and 3 chicks. Serena has planted lots of trees and shrubs, a nice vegetable garden, but it's all getting out of hand! We'd like someone to assist us with carting mulch, cutting back trees and shrubs, splitting and stacking firewood (don't worry, we have a hydraulic log splitter), general garden maintenance jobs and perhaps some external painting (the house is due for a paint job, we have started already but there's plenty left!). We ask for 2 hours/day (for a couple) or 3 hours/day (single person) in return for lodging in your own studio apartment in the main house, with Queen bedroom, private sitting room, amenity area and private bathroom (if it happens to be booked out for an AirBnB we can accommodate you in our vintage Jayco Camper). Eric's a good cook so you won't go hungry! Essential you have ...

On May 8th I am moving to the Sydney suburb of Wollstonecraft which is 10 - 15 mins by suburban train from the centre of the city and about 10 minutes walk from both Wollstonecraft and Crows Nest stations. 15 Minutes from St Leonards station. Trains go into the city at least every 10 minutes - often more than that. At this point I am looking for one or 2 people from the 11th for a week. You could come earlier but..... I am fully vaccinated and require the same of a helper. Before you read further - I only take Non-smokers (meaning you do not smoke at all - not that you smoke outside). If I find that you do smoke you will be asked to leave that day - I (and my children when they are here) are all asthmatics. I also cannot do scents, particularly old spice, any spray on deodorant and lynx. I am allergic to mint so you cannot chew gum. Here are my boundaries: I try to be as eco friendly as possible and I ask you to consider the environment by not throwing into the bin things that can ...
