We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht.  I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay.  My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. The Humpback whale and mackeral season starts during June/July onwards and we enjoy getting out and catching a feed of fish while watching the whales cruise by ..last season a couple of Wwoofers that stayed here awhile saw at least 50 whales over several trips during the winter ..some less then 10 metres from our boat....we particularly love to host people 25 yrs and over with some gardening, carpentry or physical labour skills to help out around the garden,plant nursery and farm/orchard..
