We are easy going household with a passion for good food ), walking, building and gardening. We are non smokers and prefer if you are too. Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . We have availability to help Marcus with his native tree propagation work onsite for one week stays. Looking for those who appreciate 4hrs of daily work alongside us as a fair exchange for wholesome meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner provided + seasonal fruit), your own private space, satellite Wi-fi and access to beautiful, private, natural surroundings with lots of native wildlife like wallabies and pademelons. In your free time, volunteers can go swimming, enjoy many of the hikes on and around our property (plus we adjoin 8,000ha/20,000ac of National Park) and meet/spend time with our animals, read , meditate, do yoga/fitness, satellite wifi, watch movies, bird watching, platypus watching...etc. We have a lot of info on our page, mainly so we get the right people applying to volunteer here. The work is usually physical (ie no cute animal feeding - that`s in your free time if you express an interest to Claire), but we offer a very fair exchange for those motivated to contribute ...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. Update; we have a vacancy for 1 to 3 people in early February. Our home is a large old weatherboard house in beautiful Sherbrooke, in the Mount Dandenong Ranges. This dear old place may one-day soon again become guest-house, like it was 100 years ago. Meantime both house and garden need plenty of tender loving care. The hills are a popular destination, with native forests for walking, public gardens, villages, cafes, good coffee, and galleries. See: http://www.villagesofmtdandenong.com.au/ for a look at the attractions. Sherbrooke itself is made up of a state forest and a mountain village. It is recognised internationally as the home of the Lyrebird, and many native birds visit us daily. Sherbrooke is one hour drive east of Melbourne city, or 1 hour on the train from Melbourne to nearby Belgrave. As a busy professional household, in recent years we have been grateful for helpers' assistance with yard-work, household chores, firewood management, garden gazebo construction and pai...

We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. In addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Maryborough is only 30 minutes away from Hervey Bay with beautiful beaches overlooking Frazer Island. Maryborough is a beautiful old heritage town with a lot of old buildings and parks all around. We're just a few metres away from the Mary River, at a quite place and only 1.5 km from town. There'...

Hi, I’m Annie :) Thanks for stopping by! Looking for help *** from now through January, 1 wk - 10 days work for a couple *** At the moment I'm looking for help with Spring cleaning in the house and garden work; mulching, light pruning, fertlising, tidying up garden and some indoor/ outdoor house work. My home is in Dunsborough, part of the famous Margaret River Wine region in the South-West of Western Australia. Dunsborough is a beautiful, quiet coastal town, with great facilities. NON SMOKERS ONLY! I am in LAUNCESTON TASMANIA. I (Yvonne) have a house in West Launceston, it is not a farm, it is a friendly house in a quiet Launceston suburb! I can accommodate one or two FEMALE helpers (Due to the religious Haram restrictions of one of our residents I can't accommodate male helpers) for about a week or so. Minimum stay three nights. Please inquire about available dates. Accommodation (for a single or two females) is in a private room with a double-bed. (Pictured). I can also add a single camp-bed in this room if helpers are two women who don't share a bed. I have been unwell, have poor eyesight, am on a restricted diet and am often busy doing volunteer community work, so I find it too difficult to have to cook meals and supply food. I can only offer an arrangement where you do two hours work per day for just accommodation and you supply your own food and cook your own meals. If this arrangement sounds like something you would be OK with, do contact me! Helpers...

Kathy lives in a lovely, simple, tropical style, ground level, Darwin house. She has a large garden. Kathry is interested in a Helpx couple or single person willing to help with gardening, painting, spring cleaning, other home repairs or maintenance and perhaps also cooking and daily clean up/housework. Being practical and handy is important. Generally vegetarian food is made and served in this home but other diets are also ok. Help plan menus. Take a turn to cook your own tasty cuisine in a small kitchen. Short stays from a few days to a few weeks will be considered. Kathy asks 2 -3 hours work per person per day in exchange for a room with queen sized bed and meals by negotiation. This home is close to bus routes to Darwin city, shops, cafes, public transport, walking tracks, beaches, municipal pool and nearby creek. Please make first contact by email.

If you’re interested in helping on a beef cattle farm, cuddling foals and experiencing the Aussie farm life, you are most welcome here. We have a number of building jobs going at the moment so if you are handy with mechanics, metal, wood or a paint brush, that would be very helpful to us. Your daily tasks would be to feed the animals in the morning and evening, and caring for the mare and foal, gardening and general farm chores or in the household. There is always something to do. It would be great if you know how to drive a manual vehicle and you can learn to drive a tractor or a quad here. In exchange you can choose between a cozy room or caravan with everything inside that you need and I provide food for all your meals. You prepare your own breakfast and lunch and in the evening we have a home cooked dinner together. We also have unlimited WiFi and a car that you can use to visit the local area. We are located on the edge of a small country town of Blayney in NSW, 3 hours w...

I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht. I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay. My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house i...

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room has a double bed attached to the house with a private entrance. Applications for COUPLES or TWO people are open now. Opportunities for summer vineyard and winemaking work are available now, starting in January 2026. Couples with Visitor visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. We are offering travelers a warm, comfortable two-story Celery Top Pine Pole home we built ourself. You will enjoy magical views of the ocean and mountain and will wake to the sounds of the wild birds that flock to our food and water bowls. We are regularly visited by possums, wallaby's and various other wildlife. If you're lucky you may even see a Tasmanian Devil. We aspire to a sustainable way of living and adore our large established organic garden, which we are needing help with maintaining. We ask helpers to provide a minimum of 4.5 hrs of work each day for 5 days with two full days off. If you would like a day off after working a few days we ask you to make up the hours on other days. Some helpers also purchase their own food and only work 2.5 hours a day if this suits you better. We are also very flexible and happy to listen to your requests. Previous gardening experience is essential as well as cooking/helping with evening meals, household duties, and other jobs as required...

I’m an 88 year old farmer who lives in an old country house on a working farm of about 5000 acres. I am about 15 minutes drive from the nearest country town, Oatlands and an hour from, Hobart, Tasmania. Oatlands is a lovely quaint town, with a few cafes, a pub and restaurant . Fabulous community spirit, a local indoor 25 metre swimming pool! I live on my own and would ideally like some company and preferably female or a couple to assist in the house with cleaning and meal preparation . You have your own bathroom, and bedrooms My daughter is looking after my account and will communicate with helpers as I’m a bit of a dinosaur 🦕 with anything concerning with the internet.

We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown garden.

Take a turn to cook your own tasty cuisine in a small kitchen. Short stays from a few days to a few weeks will be considered. Kathy asks 2 -3 hours work per person per day in exchange for a room with queen sized bed and meals by negotiation.
