I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht.  I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. Any skills in renovation and minor construction would be ideal but not essential. Whilst I haven't had many helpxers, I've had great experiences with everyone who has stayed. My husband and I moved to this 240 acre farm in the South Burnett Region of South East Qld 2 years ago and have recently moved into a purpose built cottage (to reduce our footprint) relying on rainwater for the house and bore water for the gardens and to reduce our footprint further we have installed a composting toilet. 40 fruit trees have been planted and raised garden beds made which is the start of our edible oasis. Next on the jobs list is creating wicking beds from IBC totes and fencing the house yard for our two Jack Russell dogs.
