Hi We are a couple with young son who live within the Shepherds Ground rural off grid village and farm community. The community is currently in its early stages (12years) with various hemp and sustainable houses under construction. As well as our day jobs we run a small garden around the house and are planting lots of natives while we finish our hemp house.. We can offer a warm, friendly and healthy environment with your own room to sleep in (full AC available so great in summer and winter). We have a kitchen where meals can be prepared from the veggies, eggs, honey, organic meat and produce from the property. Ipswich is a lovely place in itself and is about an hours drive to Brisbane, about an hour to the Gold Coast, about an hour and a half to the Sunshine Coast or about an hour to the mountains in Toowoomba. Many visitors to Australia assume it will be hot here and in summer it is, in winter the temperature can be very cold. Make sure to pack some warm winter clothing if travelling in the winter months. Kevin, myself, our daughter Neve and our 2 dogs live on a farm 12 minutes from Busselton and 25 minutes from the beautiful Margaret River region. We run a small accommodation business consisting of 10 safari style tents and we raise Highland cattle, miniature donkeys, sheep, chickens and a horse, We are seeking helpers that are able to help out with the cleaning of our 10 eco tents, and general farm work.
