We are looking for two helpers from now for a minimum of two weeks. The accommodation onsite is in our guesthouse area and fast internet is included in exchange for 2 hours of work per day, 6 days a week. This place is a former Monastery, which is now a farm and guesthouse on the Great Ocean Road. We have some lovely black alpacas, a big white fluffy dog and some gorgeous highland cattle. We can give you a very relaxing and spectacular place to live with amazing views of the ocean and surrounding landscape. Our property is between Lorne and Apollo Bay. Only 15 minutes along the Great Ocean Road to Apollo Bay. It is preferable to have your own car to get around in this area. The ocean and beach is across the road! We are looking for help with guest preparation and cleaning at our guesthouse, which sits in the middle of a farm. There may be other general grounds maintenance requirements like mowing the lawn from time to time. Check out our website for more photos and a drone vid...

There’s only myself here with air bnb guests from time to time in a separate part of the house. Happy to show you the area. I live with 3 kms of the beach. Can loan you a bike if needed. Would love it if you could cook a meal. Happy to cook and share the evening meals with you...

We live in a fun share house 🏡 in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals 🍝, fireplace 🔥 and a big edible garden 🌾🌴🌳🌿. We're Mars, the owner of the property and former owner of multiple language schools and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most amazing meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs 🐕🦺🐕 in the family, so you must be a dog 🦮 lover. Also 6 chicken 🐓 and 2 ducks 🦆, so we always have fresh eggs 🪺. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome edible garden. We're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. I'm looking for enthusiastic volunteers to share some time with me on my peaceful 10-acre organic rainforest hobby farm in Far North Queensland. This is about companionship, sharing everyday life, and enjoying the experience of hobby farm life together. It's just me and my two Australian Terriers, and I'm looking for someone who enjoys good conversation, shared meals, and being part of the day-to-day experience rather than simply working a few hours and then disappearing. I was away from the property for around 18 months, so the farm has become quite overgrown and needs some love and attention to bring it back to the way it used to be. There will be plenty of projects to work on together, including gardening, mulching trees, clearing and tidying areas, organising the shed, and helping bring the property back to life. Some of the tropical fruit trees are now starting to reward the effort, with my jackfruit and rollinia trees producing their first fruit, which is exciting to be pa...

Willunga is a beautiful heritage town an hour south of Adelaide, 10 minutes from the McLaren Vale Wine Region, and 10 minutes from Port Willunga beach. I have a huge and beautiful garden with a swimming pool which is always in need of attention and our old heritage house is always in need of maintenance. I am happy to provide accommodation and food- in exchange for a very mixed range of jobs. Welcome to our little slice of country paradise! We're a retired couple living on a beautiful 50-acre property just 10 minutes from Donnybrook in the South West of Western Australia, around three hours south of Perth. Over the past 15 years we've been restoring the land by planting hundreds of native trees, regenerating the natural watercourse, and creating a peaceful place to enjoy nature. We grow plenty of our own vegetables, raise a few sheep, and sell our spray-free produce from our roadside stall. There's plenty to enjoy during your stay. Cool off with a swim in our large dam, explore the old railway trail, or wander along the beautiful Preston River that borders the back of the property. We also enjoy the occasional BBQ sundowner, a game of chess, and catching up with friendly locals. Staying in the house: We have two comfortable guest bedrooms available in our home, with a bathroom and shared laundry. Meals are prepared together, with everyone pitching in, and we're happy to c...

I have a house with a 0.25ha garden that is part of a larger community . We are about 10 mins drive, or an easy hitch, from Byron Bay (and all its tourist attractions); Brunswick or Mullumbimby and 2 mins from the beach. I`m always glad of help with my 1/4 ha - projects like building the vegie garden; trimming back the ever enroaching bush, or projects around the house. The arrangement is 2 hours in exchange for accommodation (14 hours a week), looking after your own food but sharing our kitchen. Gondwana, the larger community that Lotus Ponds is part of, is about 50 people with a community house and hall with weekly community dinner and meditations, yoga, table tennis & pool tables with levels of activity that depend on who is here. The people living here change more often than I update this ! But typically are inspired by some combination of Dance (5Rhythms, Open-Floor, Contact); Permaculture; Surfing; Osho; Personal Growth; Cooking; Music and Nature; in the rest of Gondwana ...

Looking for someone to start mid August Hi all, my name is Greg and I owned a hostel some time ago and now have decided to get helpers to help me out around the house as well as help me with painting. I'm a painter and decorator with lots of work to do and would like to get someone to give me a hand. You don't have to be qualified for this work and can be male or female as I can give you tasks that anyone should be able to do and will also spend some time with you showing how to do things which will include painting. It will depend on the individual to how much work they do each week, so it could be to work for accommodation only to getting paid if you are more interested in doing a full weeks work. Also I can supply food and accommodation in exchange for helping me, the areas that I will need help with will range from general help around the house to helping sort through my collection of items I buy at auctions. So you could be helping doing some painting, gardening (there’s not muc...

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). Accommodation would take form of a fully insulated cute tiny garden room with access to undercover cooking area and bathroom. IT is small so please See photos. On week days we are usually working in Perth so we cant provide meals, but a well-stocked supermarket is 200 metres away. When possible we can take turns for meals if possible. We average 2/3 hours a day painting, plumbing gardening and other repairs and can negotiate best time to do that, for example maybe it’s more convenient to do two longer days during the week.Greg is usually available to help you with your car or take you fishing, boating or sightseeing if you’re willing to free him up from his other commitments. Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing, and energizing our own water though Ionisation. Water conservation is part of life for me. You can come to Maryborough via plane, bus or train. The Hervey Bay Airport is only 30min from my home. There are meanwhile several bus companies to choose from. If you use the train please book Maryborough town from the drop down menu. The shuttle bus from the train station in Maryborough west (20 min out of town) is free of charge if it is pre-booked.

Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome.
