Fully booked until December 2025. Located in Melbourne's Southern eastern suburbs, only 1 hour by train to Melbourne CBD. We have a hobby farm with cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, dogs, and cats. We are best suited to accommodate a couple or 2 friends travelling together and wanting to stay for 2 weeks or more. Helper accommodation is very neat self contained studio style cottage, with your own King Bed, Lounge, kitchen, bathroom and meals area. We would welcome anyone with any handyman skills etc. General duties include caring for the animals, gardening, mowing, weeding, fence repairs, painting, wood splitting and other odd jobs. Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room has a double bed attached to the house with a private entrance. Applications for COUPLES or TWO people are open now. Opportunities for summer vineyard and winemaking work are available now, starting in January 2026. Couples with Visitor visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is...

Hello, It's me (Michael) and my two girls - 4 and 7, and sometimes my girlfriend Anneke. My girls are quirky, messy and fun; quite free-range. I am a Kindergarten teacher for the last six years and now teach a bit of everything in a local private school. We live in a modest house with a backyard, close to the beach. You will have a basic room with an ensuite to stay in. Bargara is a sleepy beach town, a bit too quiet for some - but we love it! The turtle watching and whale watching are popular touristy things around our area. Overseas travel isn't possible for us right now. I love the idea of my girls experiencing a culture exchange and having a nice garden to spend their time in. Maybe 90 minutes/day? We need some help with Gardening, mainly. If you are happy to weed and water the garden during your stay that would be perfect - if you can clean (always plenty of that to do) and cook or contribute in another way we can try it out and just see how it goes.

Where I live is Australia's best kept secret. I'm close to deserted beaches, the Snowy River, lakes and mountains. I live here with my dog, 2 horses and a miniature horse and the abundant wildlife that calls this place home. There are millions of hectares of State Forest, National Parks and Coastal Reserve. There is a huge State Forest just up the road. I am a long term vegetarian and preference will be given to vegetarians. I am well travelled. Very happy to accommodate gay people though I'm not gay myself. Accommodation is in a comfortable caravan. Every evening 50 or so kangaroos graze in my neighbour's paddock and that will be your view. It really is idyllic. This is a tranquil place. A Spiritual place. A place to come and rest and recharge your batteries. Lots of native birds and animals call my place home. I am looking for a handyman and/or someone with lots of experience riding and training horses as I have 2 horses and one hasn't been ridden yet (sorry, no W...

Our home is a large old weatherboard house in beautiful Sherbrooke, in the Mount Dandenong Ranges. This dear old place may one-day soon again become guest-house, like it was 100 years ago. Meantime both house and garden need plenty of tender loving care. The hills are a popular destination, with native forests for walking, public gardens, villages, cafes, good coffee, and galleries. See: http://www.villagesofmtdandenong.com.au/ for a look at the attractions. Sherbrooke itself is made up of a state forest and a mountain village. It is recognised internationally as the home of the Lyrebird, and many native birds visit us daily. Sherbrooke is one hour drive east of Melbourne city, or 1 hour on the train from Melbourne to nearby Belgrave. As a busy professional household, in recent years we have been grateful for helpers' assistance with yard-work, household chores, firewood management and painting. We have a large organic home fruit and vegetable garden. Skills needed now include ga...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. Hi, we are looking for one or two keen, healthy helpers to work with us on a range of tasks. It is berry season and would be great to have some extra help🌻 We have a small berry orchard and vegetable gardens with roaming Guinea fowl, friendly kangaroos and our cute indoor house cats. The rest of the property is natural woodlands and we try to live as sustainably as possible. We have built our own unique home and there are still some parts to complete. Townsville is a tourist hub, with access to beach, mountains, reef, rainforest and bush. Cranbrook is a leafy suburb across the river from the university, close to Riverway (free freshwater swimming lagoon, with art gallery) and shops, and on the bus route. There are large trees around my house, and there is always gardening or raking to do. My mother lives in a house 3 minutes away, and I help her with her garden. Accommodation is a granny flat with a powder room attached. There is a fold out double couch, plus a single bed mattress if required. You will share the bathroom and kitchen - in exchange for gardening, maintenance, paving, painting, cooking or housework. Must love dogs - my dogs like to oversee human pursuits like digging, weeding and walking. I can assist with transport to local hiking spots, beach, or parks, or can pick you up from train or bus station. Prefer helpers who are non-smokers with family-friendly values, and able to work unsupervised when I go out. ...

After 16 years, and hosting almost 100 HelpXers, at our property in Larnook, in the Northern Rivers region, Steve and I have moved to a new place in Tenterfield, at the northern end of the New England Tableland. All of our reviews up until September 2024, are related to our previous place. We are now ready to accept HelpXers at our new place. Steve and I are a gay couple and we offer a high quality experience (as you can see from our reviews) and so we expect our Helpers to pitch in and help. The more you put into your time here at Tenterfield, the more you will get out of it. We have lots of small work jobs at present including lots of weeding and gardening, mowing, establishing herb and vege gardens, pruning and cutting back and some other work. Our property is situated a few kilometers west of the town of Tenterfield, in a quiet, rural area. We usually expect around 4 hours per day of work in exchange for all meals, your own room, access to internet (for checking emails, looki...

My husband and I moved to this 240 acre farm in the South Burnett Region of South East Qld 2 years ago and have recently moved into a purpose built cottage (to reduce our footprint) relying on rainwater for the house and bore water for the gardens and to reduce our footprint further we have installed a composting toilet. 40 fruit trees have been planted and raised garden beds made which is the start of our edible oasis. Next on the jobs list is creating wicking beds from IBC totes and fencing the house yard for our two Jack Russell dogs. We have an old thunder box we would like to restore to make into an outdoor composting toilet (let us know if you’re handy on the tools). There’s plenty to do and learn around the farm depending on your ability and interests. Enthusiasm is a must. There’s gardening and learning about soil health, learning how to erect barbed wire and electric fencing, animal husbandry, building, cleaning and general maintenance. There’s always something different g...

Set in a hidden valley of Woonona, this 1 acre oasis is on a journey from forgotten, overgrown grassland to Permaculture wonderland! We have been practicing aspects of sustainability for over 15 years including Permaculture gardening, sustainable building and creating community. Sarah has a deep level of knowledge about market gardening, soil building and organic food & is a qualified Permaculture teacher. Ben is skilled at building with recycled, reclaimed and natural materials, tending fruit trees and teaching ecology & sustainability. The property is located about 5 minutes bike ride from lovely beaches and 5 minutes walk from local shops and access to buses into Wollongong. It`s also only 1.5hrs from Sydney by train. We spent 2010 WWOOFing around the planet with our two children, so we understand how to be good hosts. We love sharing lifestyle and experiences, so hopefully we can help you explore this wonderful part of the world. The current projects involve a range of gardeni...

This very special and peaceful rural property is located within coastal Karri forest and it's just 6 km from Hamelin Bay - where friendly stingrays swim along a beautiful white sand shallow beach. The weather is warming up now and the flies are starting to die out. We start work early here(7am) and that means helpers have from 9am to be free to play and/or relax !! I invite helpers who are travelling in a camper van or similar to come and help here. This place is very special location" because it is 'away' from the hustle and crowds of Margaret River(20 min away) and it's only 15 min drive to Augusta and the mouth of the Blackwood river. All the usual native animals roam freely over this land - Kangaroo, Emu, Possum, various reptile also so many birds are in abundance on this land. 2 helpers are moving on soon and I will need a couple of helpers to replace them. I am seeking at least 2 helpers(a couple) who are staying in their own camper van, or car with roof top tent or similar. I...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...

We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. There are also several other islands nearby that can be explored including North Stradbroke Island that has wonderful beaches and walks and lots of wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, turtles and dolphin and - from June to October - humpback whales. Over the next two years we will renovate and paint the home, install new kitchen and two bathrooms. Graham has some woodworking skill but needs help during that time with various tasks and we are willing to give you a comfortable bed, good food and company and access to bathroom and washing machine in exchange for 4 hours help per day, 5 days per week. We are a mature aged couple working from home and are looking to find an enthusiastic couple, or single person, who can help with general garden maintenance , eg weeding, spraying blackberries and wood splitting etc. In return, we are offering a private room and own bathroom ( see in photos below) in our lovely home. Accomodation and all meals are provided. ( free wi-fi is also available). We are in a quiet and secluded bush setting, and often have kangaroos and wallabies feeding on our property, but still only 3km from the main highway and station. (Melb CBD is 1 hour via train.) It is essential that you are a dog lover! (We have 2) Our 2 Whippets are quite old now, but very friendly and lazy! This would be an excellent opportunity for anyone requiring 2 weeks of accommodation, possibly longer, to share our easy going family life style. We are DEFINITELY a NON SMOKING household, and would prefer not to cater for vegetarians only. The work involves weeding, moving mulch, splitting...

We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown garden. In addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Maryborough is only 30 minutes away from Hervey Bay with beautiful beaches overlooking Frazer Island. Maryborough is a beautiful old heritage town with a lot of old buildings and parks all around. We're just a few metres away from the Mary River, at a quite place and only 1.5 km from town. There'...

*we are now looking for helper to help us install new floors on the 2nd of Jan. No experience needed. Thomas will guide you and work with you but we do need someone who’s willing to learn and work. We are a family of 4, Thomas (41) is originally from France, I (Amber, 37) am from Taiwan and Enzo (7) and little Mia (3) are born in Australia. Thomas and I came to Australia with working holiday visa 10 years ago and now we have built up our family here and became Australian. We both love travelling and meeting new people to share stories and experiences. At home we speak English between Thomas and I but we speak only French and Chinese to Enzo and Mia. We host many helpers from France and China and found it's good for those who are not very confident in English to get an opportunity to practice English with us :) The area we live in is very quiet and safe, with mostly houses and many trees. Plenty of free street parking, perfect for people travelling with a car. We are happy to consid...

Our preference is for a single person or couple who have some skil...

There'...
