We are semi-retired and offer a free camp with access to a bathroom and laundry for a little bit of help, also included is unlimited access to our fresh produce. Dongara is a small coastal village with beautiful beaches and coastline, 350km north of Perth. Well know for its proximity to wildflower country, best visited in August and September. Only 65km from Geraldton, there is a lot to enjoy in the area, the beaches of course, cafes, local hotel, restaurants, historic buildings, museums. We live in Dongara and travel out to the farm three mornings per week. We have 2 hectares of production area with-in the 20 hectare property, certified organic. Mixed vegies and melons in summer. We work as a team (we have two part-time workers). We are passionate about producing good food in a way that is kind to the planet. We open our shed in town once a week to sell direct to the public as well as sending produce to Organic Fresh in Perth once a week.

I am very passionate about hidden truths and wisdom and always keen to learn and share (if called for) I do not drink or smoke and i like vegetarian food but i m pretty flexible.. We are a family run business operating an Oyster Farm on Moreton Island plus a retail shop on the property selling fresh seafood. We are happy to accept travellers and have had some wonderful experiences with wwoofers already. We offer accommodation and food in exchange for work. Accommodation is a studio apartment separate from the main house. We generally only pick up people on a Thursday or Friday from North Stradbroke Island in our boat. Duties include, building water infrastructure, making oyster bags, culling and sorting Oysters, general farm hand on the land base and grading of oyster. A working day normally starts at 8am and finishes around 2pm generally and breaks for morning tea and lunch of course. Most times on a Sunday we have to harvest oysters ready for work on Monday, but this only takes about 1 hour. Moreton Island is remote even though close to Brisbane, we have to generate our own power via solar and also collect our own rain water. If you love nature, hik...

After 16 years, and hosting almost 100 HelpXers, at our property in Larnook, in the Northern Rivers region, Steve and I have moved to a new place in Tenterfield, at the northern end of the New England Tableland. All of our reviews up until September 2024, are related to our previous place. We are now ready to accept HelpXers at our new place. Steve and I are a gay couple and we offer a high quality experience (as you can see from our reviews) and so we expect our Helpers to pitch in and help. The more you put into your time here at Tenterfield, the more you will get out of it. We have lots of small work jobs at present including lots of weeding and gardening, mowing, establishing herb and vege gardens, pruning and cutting back and some other work. Our property is situated a few kilometers west of the town of Tenterfield, in a quiet, rural area. We usually expect around 4 hours per day of work in exchange for all meals, your own room, access to internet (for checking emails, looki...

My two sisters, Judy, Margaret and I bought the farm in November 2021 and are turning it into an organic permaculture farm. We use no chemicals or poisons and that's why there's a lot of hand weeding etc. We are very flexible and easy going. farm is set in the picturesque Tamborine Mountain with amazing rain-forest walking trails and stunning waterfalls. We have a beautiful private campervan accommodation close to the house where you will be able to access Wi-Fi and the use of a shared bathroom, plus a small caravan. Or occasionally a bedroom with queen size bed in the house. We need help with weeding and planting and depending on the time of year, harvesting/picking avocados. I also need help with my bee hives on occasion. We don't expect you to work all day, all we ask is a fair exchange, usually 18 - 20 hours per week. Vegan meals will be provided (Judy is an amazing cook). You will have to buy your own non-vegan food. There is a full kitchen set up in the campervan and cara...

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

I seek mature travellers who are travelling around the South West in their own Camper Van or Car with tent etc. Traveller/helpers need to be self contained but I provide access to clean toilet and shower facilities. I have some really nice set up camp sites here - the sites are private, clean, safe and located in beautiful natural bushland settings. If you would like to come, stay and help me here, please send me a message ! I can usually help traveller/helpers locate many other things.., like possible work services, free food services and access to various beaches etc. I like to show people how they can live on the land sustainably, how they can build their own sustainable homes and grow their own food...., using what is around them, to adapt to their environment and adopt permaculture principals to suit their own needs. I have lived on my own little permaculture farm beside the Leeuwin/Naturaliste National Park forest since 1982. I have built my own home using local granite s...

MINIMUM STAY TWO WEEKS! -TWO WEEKS MINIMUM STAY! As our aim is to maintain a mix of nationalities so that everyone has a chance to practice their English. We have up to 4 HelpXers at a time. They become like a large family, it is unnecessarily disruptive if people only want a short stay. We are very close (10 mins) to several great Newcastle beaches. We are NOT a farm; we are city. Interesting Homestay situation. Large 6 bedroom house in the Newcastle suburb of Garden Suburb. Close to the famous Newcastle beaches and Hunter Valley wineries. The beaches are in easy access only about 15 Minutes away. We usually have 3 /4 HelpX - plus my two of my four sons, Zac 25yrs and Asa 23yrs so there is always plenty going on. We are looking for people who want a working holiday in the beautiful Hunter region of NSW. There is so much variety of things to do that we can generally find a niche for most skill sets. whether it is cooking, gardening, cleaning, painting or carpentry. We hav...

We are a small family run winemaking operation based in the stunning Margaret River region of Western Australia. In September 2026 we require the assistance of a female live in helper to support our 15 and 17 year old daughters with everyday living whilst my husband and I go to work in Italy for 3 weeks. Our eldest has her licence and a car and is able to provide transport if needed but it would be ideal for the helper to have their own car as we are located on a beautiful farm 15 minutes south of Margaret River. We are looking for a fun friendly companion to oversea everyday living. Our girls are both very mature, well mannered and will be expected to clean after them selves and contribute to cooking etc but the presence of a responsible adult in the house whist we are away will make everyone feel at ease. The exchange would be accommodation and food for evening meal x 4 per week and company as needed. Assistance with feeding animals (Pygmy Goats and tamworth pigs and chickens) li...

****VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT ANAM CARA THIS JUNE 2026! We've just completed our May volunteer month, and what a beautiful time was had. It's hard to put into words the sense of the radical act of revolution these gatherings elicit. Opportunities for being together in a way that is carefully curated for healing, connection with land, health, peace, and authenticity are becoming harder and harder to achieve as the world gets ever-more heavy. But somehow, the Anam Cara recipe delivers deep kinship connection between participants time and time again. If you'd like to join us for some or all of this June's volunteer month, please get in touch. Participants who have stayed with us before are welcome to drop in for short stays, newcomers will need to spend a minimum of 1 week. You will have your own lovely accommodation (private room or glamping tent), shared bathrooms, full access to all living facilities, and delicious organic food. The work exchange is about 20 hours a week. Each person...

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature single people are open now. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is not raining or too hot. ...

We are a mature aged couple working from home and are looking to find an enthusiastic couple, or single person, who can help with general garden maintenance , eg weeding, spraying blackberries and wood splitting etc. In return, we are offering a private room and own bathroom ( see in photos below) in our lovely home. Accomodation and all meals are provided. ( free wi-fi is also available). We are in a quiet and secluded bush setting, and often have kangaroos and wallabies feeding on our property, but still only 3km from the main highway and station. (Melb CBD is 1 hour via train.) It is essential that you are a dog lover! (We have 2) Our 2 Whippets are quite old now, but very friendly and lazy! This would be an excellent opportunity for anyone requiring 2 weeks of accommodation, possibly longer, to share our easy going family life style. We are DEFINITELY a NON SMOKING household, and would prefer not to cater for vegetarians only. The work involves weeding, moving mulch, splitting...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . This is very much a cultural exchange (for us and for you) as you will be in our family home sharing our lifestyle. NO SMOKERS OR VEGETARIANS PLEASE. We prefer our helpers to stay 2 weeks or more. We welcome you to join us on our beautiful 78-acre Organic Vineyard, Berry and Citrus Farm in Denmark, Western Australia. 🍃 Located just 3km from the town centre, with stunning views to Mount Lindesay and the Scotsdale hills, we have two adjoining farms that were once a commercial organic berry farm and citrus farm, which we are regenerating. We have lots of gorgeous farm animals, including cows, sheep, chickens, pigs, as well as “Ziggy” our beloved dog! We have been busy regenerating the berries and citrus trees, have planted a vineyard (to make our own biodynamic natural wine!), weeding out the invasive kikuyu grasses, building new fences, planting trees, establishing permaculture gardens, pruning and expanding the orchards, practicing regenerative grazing for our animals, as well as undertaking some amazing building projects - including a new house!! 🍀 We are looking for an enthusiastic couple to help us to create our vision using regenerative agriculture, permaculture and biod...

We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. There are also several other islands nearby that can be explored including North Stradbroke Island that has wonderful beaches and walks and lots of wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, turtles and dolphin and - from June to October - humpback whales. Over the next two years we will renovate and paint the home, install new kitchen and two bathrooms. Graham has some woodworking skill but needs help during that time with various tasks and we are willing to give you a comfortable bed, good food and company and access to bathroom and washing machine in exchange for 4 hours help per day, 5 days per week. Our preference is for a single person or couple who have some skil...

Hello Everyone, We've been hosting through helpx for over 10 years, we enjoy learning about cultures and people from all over the world. We have the pleasure of living on 350+ acres of natural bush country in Brooweena, Queensland. We have converted a bus to a tiny home, and we are currently building a shipping container home, this is a priority and would love people to help. We also grow a lot of our own food and have fruit trees. We are 100% off-grid with all our electricity from solar and tanks, dam, and rain for water. We have a friendly dog who loves to play. Our goal is to be as self-sufficient as possible, improve the soil, and regenerate the land to a healthy ecosystem. We use Permaculture Design methods. This means we don't use any chemical sprays, artificial fertilizer or mono-cropping on our land and live the values of Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share. It's a very exciting time for us to be embarking on our farming adventure, and we would like to share this ti...

Hi, we’re Terry (64) & Tricia (56)! We live on a beautiful 5 acre lifestyle property in Yandaran, about 35 km north of Bundaberg. Yandaran is a small rural village surrounded by farmland, offering a relaxed country atmosphere. We love showing people around our wonderful area - you can enjoy fishing, catching mud crabs, exploring freshwater river crossings, and visiting a beautiful beach only minutes away. We’re looking for some help putting the finishing touches on our property- small fencing jobs for animal yards, establishing lawn and garden areas and a few homestead projects. We offer accommodation in our 21 foot caravan, complete with own toilet and bathroom. We haven’t hosted for a few years, but we have previous experience as hosts and made many friends around the world because of it - and we look forward to meeting many more!

We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. Also 6 chicken and 2 ducks, so we always have fresh eggs. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown edible garden. We're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We like to work with fun and laughter and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out. Be yourself and join the family... We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Please note that there's a minimum of 1 week stay, we do not like to be used as a pit stop. There's no maximum s...

Hello travellers! We’ve recently built a wonderfully energy efficient passive solar house, complete with off-grid solar for all our energy needs, rain water collection for all our water needs, and a worm farm waste management system for natural black and grey water processing. We’ve put a lot of work in to achieve a fossil-fuel-free, all-electric, household, with as small an environmental footprint as possible. We’re also lucky to live in a beautiful rural/coastal area near Inverloch, Victoria, approximately 1 hour 45 minutes south-east of Melbourne. We are close to some of Victoria’s most famous wildlife and wilderness attractions, including the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island, the Koala Conservation Reserve, and hiking and camping at Wilson’s Promontory (not to mention numerous local beaches and fishing spots only 10 minutes away!). With our house complete, we’re now working to progress the landscaping aspects of our project. We’d be very appreciative of a helping hand or two to ...

I am looking to find one or two people to assist me with my camel rides business on rhe weekends and help with the training on camels in harness during the week . To be suitable for this opportunity you must have some large animal experience.I can offer free accommodation which is a self contained bus with its own shower and toilet, included is power and free WiFi.As well as free accommodate you will be given $200 per wk for food. This can be quite hard work at times but very rewarding when you see camels learn and begin to understand what you are teaching them. For your safety you must be able to speak and understand English, as it can be a challenging fast pace environment where you must be able to understand my instructions. If you think you fit this profile and an opportunity to help educate these camels, contact Peter for more information.

This is for those of you who plan ahead. We are full until mid July, right at the start of our best fishing season and in the middle of our best weather when at least some of the time we should be cutting great timber from unwanted trees using a 26 inch/56cm bandsaw. So anyone who loves fishing, snorkelling on inshore reefs and is good at DIY or carpentry and loves the simple, quiet, rural life by the beach, next to the rainforest, this is for you 🤗. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not really necessary, learn o...

We are a welcoming family inviting volunteers to stay with us and experience the lifestyle and culture of rural Australia. To clarify from the outset: we do not own the cattle station. My husband is the station manager, and I am looking for helpers to assist me personally with the care of our horses, pets, and day-to-day household routines — not with station or cattle operations. This is a hands-on, immersive opportunity to enjoy country life, connect with animals, and be part of everyday outback living in a relaxed family environment. About Us & Daily Life A big part of your time here will involve helping me care for our horses and other animals — including feeding, grooming, and general animal care. Riding is available if you are capable, confident, and it is appropriate on the day, or if you would like to learn under supervision. Like any household, there are also light daily tasks that everyone pitches in with, such as tidying shared spaces or helping with routine animal feedi...

Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top.

Hello! As I have little children, I’m only interested in Solo female travellers only. We are a family of four; a 7 year old boy and 2 year old boy, partner is working and I’m at home alone with the children with too much to keep up with. I currently homeschool my bigger boy using an eclectic approach and nature based learning. We live in a beautiful location close to Rockingham Foreshore. Nearby is Penguin Island in Shoalwater, opportunities for kayaking, kite surfing, fishing and beach swims, close to Point Peron Marine Park for snorkelling with fish, dolphins and sea lions, 30 minutes drive to Mandurah Foreshore and it’s attractions including discovering the amazing Giant Sculptures hidden in nature spots plus there are lots of restaurants in both Rockingham and Mandurah. We are 1.3km to the pristine Warnbro beach, 2.1km to Warnbro Shopping Centre, 1.2km to the gym and swimming pools and there are bus stops on Warnbro Sound Avenue plus Warnbro train station. I am looking f...
