Hello! We live on a beautiful two and a half acre bush block, surrounded by tall trees and we are an easy 1km walk to lovely swimming beaches on the South Coast of NSW. We need help with our property maintenance - eg. weeding, raking, mowing, feeding the chooks, collecting the eggs, compost making etc If outdoor work is not your thing, or if it is raining and the weather not great, there are inside tasks I need a hand with like cleaning windows, general housework plus if you are a keen cook you are most welcome to take a turn! In the ten years we have been here, we have worked hard to establish a caged vege garden, some fruit trees, plus we breed chickens as egg layers. We have Australorps (black and blue) Cream Legbars, Olive Eggers, plus a mixture of other varities. Our local town of Moruya, has a fabulous, award winning Farmers Market which operates every Tuesday afternoon. There is also a very friendly community running group each Wednesday afternoon, with the choice of 2...

We welcome you to join us on our beautiful 78-acre Organic Vineyard, Berry and Citrus Farm in Denmark, Western Australia. 🍃 Located just 2.5km from the town, with stunning views to Mount Lindesay and the Scotsdale hills, we have two adjoining farms that were once a commercial organic berry farm and citrus farm, which we are regenerating. We have lots of gorgeous farm animals, including cows, sheep, chickens, pigs, as well as “Ziggy” our beloved dog! I already have guests coming in August…so sorry I can’t offer for anyone else to stay during that time. Generally my preference is short stays for experienced helpers with good reviews. Generally speaking the help I need is from people with horticultural or gardening skills and those who are happy to do house cleaning or home maintenance repair work. Retired folks welcome. I offer home-style accommodation (Queen size bed and room within the home), and while I no long provide food other than basics (tea/coffee, milk, bread and butter and spreads)…I am happy to share food costs and create shared meals together. Also there are supermarkets nearby, plus a pizza place, a Japanese takeaway and a Thai restaurant within walking distance. Guests have unlimited inter-net connection. Also I allow flexibility for outings that require overnight stays or more than one day to visit. I am located 20-25 mins South of Cairns and while there is regular bus transport available it takes over 40 mins to...

Witchcliffe .. quirky hippie town with bars, restaurants and cafes just 8km from Margaret River. I live in an Eco Village, walking distance to Witchy town. Come experience village life and walk amongst its amazing gardens. We have three dams, the largest being our swimming and kayaking haven. We each own our own homes and between about 20 houses, we share a communal cluster house orchard and chickens. My guest accommodation is in a converted shed with its own lounge, bathroom and loft sleeping. It has lovely views. Food - Witchcliffe has some restaurants and a small local shop for fruit, vegetables and lots of yummy foods. Helping hours - I’m flexible ie if the surf is up, work after the wind has come in. Want to go away overnight, then work more hours when here. Jobs to be done: Painting (just some finishing work to be done on garden structures) . Pruning, moving mulch, weeding, laying paving bricks. Building gardens for vegetables.

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

Hi, my name is Mary. I live on the border of NSW and Victoria, a town called Albury. There is a train service to Albury from Sydney about 9 hours and Melbourne about 5 hours train trip. I am happy to pick someone from the Albury railway station. Albury is a pretty town on the Hume Highway. It is inland on the Murray River and there are a lot of local attractions, vineyards, historical small towns, snow fields and many more, only a few hours drive. I am located in town, with the railway station and the airport not too far, about 15minutes drive. I am fully vaccinated and require the same of a helper. Currently I am asking for 2.5hrs a day for board only. You can cook for yourselves, buy supplies locally and after cooking clean your area. Would like to learn and look after a vineyard and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature couples as applicants are now open. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is not raining or too hot. Be ...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. We like to work with fun, laughter, music and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out. Be yourself and join the family... We have had many awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃.
