3 bedroom house 200m from beach on south terrace in South Fremantle. Pubs, restaurants and cafes within short walking distance. Walk to Fremantle in 15 mins or take the free bus with a stop withing a few meters. Unlimited WiFi. It's a beautiful old house with a nice back garden to relax in. I require assistance with a some renovation work. The house is 120 years old - not old by European standards but quite old for Australia - but still a lot to be done. Some more work on my kitchen, and just a myriad of small things. Any skills in renovation and minor construction would be ideal but not essential. Whilst I haven't had many helpxers, I've had great experiences with everyone who has stayed. Happy for people to do there own thing but also happy to have a beer/wine with good people. Am after 1 to 3 honest people, male or female. Have had great experiences with Helpxers so far. Thanks, Mike

Beef cattle and sheep farming and cropping. Help required with general farm duties in exchange for meals and accommodation. We enjoy a relaxed lifestyle sharing time with friends of similar interests in a great part of the country. Also Queensland is a great place to be with Winter coming on. :-)

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...

We are a household of 2 adults, and three boys (age 14years, 9years,& 111years old). We live in a beautiful part of Hobart, adjacent to bushwalking and mountain-biking in the foothills of Mt Wellington. The community we live in is very friendly, and we have good connections with our neighbours. There is a regular bus service to the Central Hobart, or you can walk there in 50mins through the bush. We are a mostly vegetarian household and only accommodate non-smokers. We have a sunny private outbuilding (single room- see photo with orange wall) to house 2 helpers in a queen size bed - there is a small kitchenette there too. The bathroom is in the main house, a 15metre walk from the bedroom. We are very happy to help with planning bush walking, climbing, MTB trips and other camping adventures in Tasmania and the mainland. We have travelled widely ourselves, and would love to welcome the opportunity to host helpers in our home. We like Helpers who are independent and use their initia...

We also don't have availability from Saturday 4th to Sunday 19th July. We take a break from hosting helpers from November to March, as the weather becomes too hot and humid. By focusing on the cooler months, we can offer a far more comfortable, enjoyable, and productive experience. Who We Are We’re Craig and Yvonne, easy-going retirees in our sixties who’ve built our dream life on a forested acreage overlooking Wallis Lake and the Pacific Ocean. We love sharing our home, our culture, and our passion for nature with curious, enthusiastic helpers. Our place sits high on a hill with spectacular 360 degree views of mountains, valleys, rolling hills and city lights overlooking all of Albury/Wodonga, twin cities on the Murray River. We are on the main freeway between Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. Large luxury cedar and rock homestead on 100 acres. Lots of historic church features incorporated into the homestead and cute rustic outbuildings , antiques and artistic detail abound. Beautiful and unique large garden filled with 100+ sculptures, many paths to explore, ponds, organic vegetable and berry gardens, free range poultry and wildlife galore and many other interesting features. Lots of fun things to do and see here and everyone who has stayed has left with a happy and memorable experience. We have been a host farm for over 18 years now with well over 250 helpers having stayed. Usually it is only a one to two week stay but that is negotiable depending on how much work there is and how well we all get on. Sometimes I will accept ...

Hey everyone it's Coco. I have a farm property down here near Moruya at Congo, NSW. I have recently moved house and now live at my beach house, but still run the farm 2 km away. There is plenty to do as I am still getting organised at the beach house, so come and help. The house is across the road from the beach - swimming and surfing every day. On the farm there are a few cows and sheep, very friendly farm dog, an orchard and an organic garden to look after... and kangaroos. At the beach house i need help re-establishing my gardens, painting, general house maintenance. I am around heaps, but helpers need to be able to do stuff without supervision and know what you are doing. It's better if you have farm experience and a mature attitude. Things that I need help with specifically include: Farm related jobs Looking after the dog Check the cows Weed control Fencing checks House cleaning Lawns Washing Painting Meal preparation For your fun there are bikes, surfboards and plenty of ...

Our wonderful helpers from France have finally moved on - long after they originally intended as they loved it here, so we are now seeking some new helpers. ENJOY THE FREEDOM & BEAUTY OF SOUTH GIPPSLAND. Property is a botanic garden of Australian native plants, many rare or endangered, plus an acre of plants for cut flowers, mainly proteas, banksias and tea trees. Lots of wildlife. We need help with weeding, mowing, mulching, planting and general clean up as the property is too big for the two of us to maintain. Accommodation is very comfortable, private, with fully set up kitchen in a studio style cottage with a queen size bed and smart TV. Recently installed a new electric oven with airfry function. Has split system heating and cooling. It is separate from the main house. It was a very popular AirBnB destination but we have decided not to do it anymore as it is too much extra work. The property is rural; half way between Wonthaggi and Inverloch so having a car is convenient but there...

Want to help us at BRUNY ISLAND this week? This would suit a couple or a group of friends wanting a short but fun adventure. You need a car for this HelpX. BRUNY ISLAND has BEACHES, FORESTS, BIRDS, NATURE, and so much more. We are located at Adventure Bay on the South of the island which is roughly a 90 minute journey from Hobart. About 3-4 hours work per day including collecting oysters (which is fun) other jobs include raking, watering, wood stacking etc - nothing difficult. Food & accommodation provided. Also Star-link WIFI. It’s our holiday house. The ferries depart every 30 minutes from Kettering. We live & work in Hobart so we usually stay at our house in Hobart. If you have any special skills like cooking, painting, etc tell me - but it’s fine if you don’t. . The house has 2 bedrooms, a cabin, & 3 caravans that also have multiple beds - so we can sleep LOTS of people if needed but sometimes we only need 2 people. We also have 2 swags if you prefer and plenty of r...

One helper for 7 to 10 days or a couple traveling together for 5 to 10 days I am retired and reside on a property situated in the Noosa Hinterlands I have two daughters who live close and two granddaughters who I love to spoil. I also have a large dog who is turning 5 years old and enjoys nothing more than her afternoon walks around the property followed by playtime and then food. The helpers must not be afraid of an extra large dog, she is contained but enjoys interaction with others. Volunteers would experience the joy associated with living on a small acreage property of 28 acres in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland 20 minutes from Noosa and also experience the peace and tranquility that small acreage living has to offer. Volunteer help for 4 hours per day each person which would including but not limited to gardening, pruning and mulching (must be use to physical work) also some housework and assisting with home cooked Australian meals in exchange for accommodation with own private...

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

We are an active retired couple 600 metres up overlooking Lake Hume, the Murray River and the Victorian snowfields. We are on the border of New South Wales and Victoria. Our major town is Albury Wodonga where we could pick up anyone from the station, if necessary. We have cork oaks, olives, pistachios and fruit trees. The neighbours run sheep on the place from time to time. We have just started making cider if you come at that time of the year you can join in with the pressing. We would need help with general maintenance, pruning, mowing, gardening, a little fencing, wood chopping, painting etc. You would live with us in our house and meals would be provided. Work would generally be in the mornings with the afternoons free to explore the region, swimming in the lake, skiing in winter. We speak French.

Hi, I live in Bundaberg city 5km from the post office, and enjoy having travellers stay here in return for help around the house and yard, gardening, mowing, housekeeping/cleaning, general maintenance, etc. on my 1000 square meter block. If you have special skills tell me or if cooking is your thing then you would be especially welcome. I love all kinds of ethnic food and can be flexible as to work and leisure hours. I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. We are a group of friends who decided three years ago to restore a beautiful old village/motel in Jindabyne. We are looking for like minded individuals who are passionate about restoration/building and maintenance, love nature and have a good nature and willing to share a laugh over some good food. We have hosted people from all around the world, including all over Europe, Asia, North and South America. The motel is a 5-minute drive from local amenities such as supermarkets, shops, pubs, and a skate park. From June to September there are plenty of winter activities including skiing, tobogganing, and snowboarding at nearby ski resorts, just 30 minutes away. In summer, there are plenty of hikes, mountain biking, fishing, as well as the beach at Jindabyne Lake, Blue Lake and we are 30 minutes from the tallest mountain in Australia- Mount Koscioscko. Please note, there is no internet on at the house, I prefer to communicate with people face to face. I only have internet on my phone. There is a community centre just down the road where you can access the internet on week days. There's also a club in town that has free internet and is open until 4am 7 days a week. The only room currently available is the smaller double room upstairs. I currently have a lady with 2 children in the downstairs area. Ipswich is a lovely place in itself and is about an hours drive to Brisbane, about an hour to the Gold Coast, about an hour and a half to the Sunshine Coast or about an hour to the mountains in Toowoomba. Many visitors to Australia assume it will be hot here and in summer it is, in winter the temperature can be very cold. Make sure to pack some warm winter clothing if travelling in the winter months. I don't have fans or air conditioning so the temperature is what it is. It's hot in summer and cold in winter. Electricity has become too exp...

We live in a quiet place close to national parks and beaches but still close to the cbd of Sydney. Good bus access and a short trip to mentor to take you further distance to other Sydney locations. I am in need of hand person work such as hanging a clothes line, shelves and hooks and clearing out a garage and some garden work and some transportation if you have a car. Due to only about 6 hours of help per week needed, looking for someone willing to do half rent plus some help so would suit some wanting to stay medium term in Sydney looking for an affordable option. Thinking about 200 PW to cover expenses and 6 hours support. Would suit someone in health looking to be close to hospitals or someone in care industry working part time or a student. Single female preferably and non smoker or drinker.

Hi everyone my name is David, and I live at in Mount Warning Caldera in Northern NSW. The closest town is Murwillumbah, which is approx a 30 min drive away. I designed and built my property back in the early 80’s. There are 9 other properties out here, but we all have a lot of space as we are on 450 acres of land. The house sits on a ridge, with views of the Springbrook Plateau, and is surrounded by lush rainforest. It is an area of high bio-diversity with rainforest, waterfalls, rivers & many different types of wildlife, which is all easily accessible. You may encounter wallabies, lizards, snakes and numerous bird life I have done a lot of traveling over the years, am passionate about music and love to have a jam with my friends, and practice Tai-Chi daily. I enjoy good food, and my diet is mainly vegetarian, and i have my own veggie patch. I am looking for help with gardening, planting trees, weeding, mulching, making compost, some help with cleaning would be great too. Th...

It looks like we are full until at least June but you are still welcomed to make inquiries about future dates. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not really necessary, learn on the job! 😉👍. So you need to be a "morning person" who is happy to start work at 07.00 hr, at least five mornings a week, not a night-owl. This is to avoid the heat of the afternoons at this time of year, mornings ca n be beautiful. Much of the work will be outside, based out of a well-equipped, air-conditioned, woodworking workshop an...

I’ve taken over the Australian Hotel in Herberton and I’m looking for a helper or a couple to give me a hand to transform this place into something healthy and not alcohol related. If you're creative and don't mind painting and cleaning, there is an ensuite room for helpers who may be interested. Alternatively, travellers with a camper would be great, so they can stay in their own setup and in their time off explore and see some of the things you may wish to see around the area. I have a pool table and a dartboard, and soon to get the pinball machine up and running. Herberton is a small town. It's has a historic village and it was based on the discovery of tin, and the tin mining boom started here. Ideally, if you're vegetarian or vegan, it would be great. You could really help with some meals. I'll provide all the food and obviously accommodation. If you can come up with some really healthy meals in the commercial kitchen, that'd be really helpful for the team that's trying to get ...

Our small farm (https://little-farm.com.au) sits in Northern Victoria, where we grow fruit and vegetables, plant trees, and learn as we go. Tim, a retired engineer, is always building or fixing something. Beth is a teacher and health practitioner who also teaches at university. She tends a rose garden of over 400 fragrant bushes. Early mornings here smell incredible. The property includes an organic vegetable garden, orchard, berries, herbs, and a music room with a baby grand piano. If you play, bring your instrument. We’re close to the Murray River. Big skies, glowing sunrises and sunsets, and rich birdlife surround us. Magpies are part of daily life here, in sound and in art across the farm. Nights are clear and full of stars. Many people arrive tired and leave feeling genuinely restored. What we’re looking for Willing, reliable help Someone who takes initiative and keeps shared spaces tidy A careful learner who asks when unsure You’ll be guided at first, then work more indepen...

***We have availability right now: May 2026.*** About Us & What You Can Expect We are a family living on an acreage property in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland in Bonogin. Our household includes my husband, our two adult children, and our much-loved animals (two dogs and three indoor cats), so volunteers must be comfortable around animals and enjoy a relaxed, family-style environment. We value honesty, reliability, and mutual respect. Volunteers can expect to be treated fairly, kindly, and as part of the household—not just as extra labour. Clear communication is important to us, and we aim to create a welcoming, down-to-earth atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and appreciated. Location & Transport We are surrounded by bushland and hills, about 15 minutes (11 km) from the nearest shops in Mudgeeraba and Robina.

CLEANING, COOKING, GARDENING, PLAYING MUSIC, are all things that I appreciate assistance with. Solo or couples are very welcome. Unfortunately I cannot sign for 2nd year visa.

Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots...

We are looking for a couple or two friends to stay for a couple of weeks or more if agreed. We are maintaining our property for sale and we need to keep in condition. There is work removing trees, tidying up the garden and removing debris from the fires and recent storms. There is also cleaning work helping Cate with property management. During free time you are welcome to borrow our electric scooters and go swimming and exploring. We live in Mallacoota, one of Australia's most beautiful places on the southeast coast. It is a World Biosphere Reserve in the middle of the Croajingolong National Park next to the ocean with an estuarine lake system and many, many beaches. We are 2km from the town centre and 3km from the nearest beach. There are about seven magnificent beaches within 10km of us. Looking for helpers from mid May 2026 and beyond. Located in Melbourne's Southern eastern suburbs, only 1 hour by train to Melbourne CBD. We have a hobby farm with 2 cows, goats, alpacas, dogs, and cats. We are best suited to accommodate a couple or 2 friends travelling together and wanting to stay for 2 weeks or more. Helper accommodation is very neat self contained studio style cottage, with your own King Bed, Lounge, kitchen, bathroom and meals area. We would welcome anyone with any handyman skills etc. General duties include caring for the animals, gardening, mowing, weeding, fence repairs, painting, wood splitting and other odd jobs. We can provide accommodation in exchange for 20 hours per week. We are 5km from the local shops and public transport, so it is more convenient if you have your own vehicle.

There is no public transport, and the roads are not safe for walking or cycling, so having your own vehicle is essential. Work Exchange & Living Arrangements In...

We are a mature aged couple working from home and are looking to find an enthusiastic couple, or single person, who can help with general garden maintenance , eg weeding, spraying blackberries and wood splitting etc. In return, we are offering a private room and own bathroom ( see in photos below) in our lovely home. Accomodation and all meals are provided. ( free wi-fi is also available). We are in a quiet and secluded bush setting, and often have kangaroos and wallabies feeding on our property, but still only 3km from the main highway and station. (Melb CBD is 1 hour via train.) It is essential that you are a dog lover! (We have 2) Our 2 Whippets are quite old now, but very friendly and lazy! This would be an excellent opportunity for anyone requiring 2 weeks of accommodation, possibly longer, to share our easy going family life style. We are DEFINITELY a NON SMOKING household, and would prefer not to cater for vegetarians only. The work involves weeding, moving mulch, splitting...
