Our property is 33ha of native forest with two creeks located in subtropical NSW, 15 km from Lismore and 50 min from Byron Bay. Our focus is on enhancing the natural habitat for the abundant wildlife including wallabies, goannas, echidnas and birds. Varied tasks include assisting us with gardening, bush regeneration, maintaining bush tracks, general house and property maintenance. I have recently moved to the beautiful north east coast of Tasmania and am in need of some help around the property - garden and landscaping work. We are a family run business operating an Oyster Farm on Moreton Island plus a retail shop on the property selling fresh seafood. Accommodation is a studio apartment separate from the main house. We generally only pick up people on a Thursday or Friday from North Stradbroke Island in our boat. I live between Port Gregory & Horrocks Beach, 85km north of Geraldton and 80ks south of Kalbarri. Northampton is 30kms away. Our Farm backs onto the Hutt River with water in there all year round. Beautiful wildflowers from May-October. Really is a magical place to live or visit!!! We often need helpers to help out on the farm in exchange for Accommodation. Not a paid position. We have a Bus you can use for accommodation with a Queen bed in it and 2 singles. Outside shower and toilet. We can provide you with some meat. But you will be responsible for doing your own meals. We have quite a few horses and a pony so horse experience would be good but not necessary. Or if you would like to learn to ride or handle a horse. We have chickens, dogs, cats and about 200 sheep with lambs and about 30 cows with calves.
