After 16 years, and hosting almost 100 HelpXers, at our property in Larnook, in the Northern Rivers region, Steve and I have moved to a new place in Tenterfield, at the northern end of the New England Tableland. Townsville is a tourist hub, with access to beach, mountains, reef, rainforest and bush. Cranbrook is a leafy suburb across the river from the university, close to Riverway (free freshwater swimming lagoon, with art gallery) and shops, and on the bus route. There are large trees around my house, and there is always gardening or raking to do. My mother lives in a house 3 minutes away, and I help her with her garden. Hi there. My husband and I live in Lennox Head (between Byron Bay and Ballina) on a 1.5 acre property. We have 2 chickens, 2 beehives and a large vegetable garden. My husband speaks French and Spanish as well as English. Lennox Head is a well-known surf /tourist village close to rainforests, beautiful coastline and beaches. You will have your own bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Singles/couples welcome. We live within 15 mins walk to the shops and beach. You can have access to a vehicle if needed. We have bikes, stand up paddle board, surfboards etc. Ideally dates are anywhere in September 2024 for maximum one week. Needing help with spring cleaning the house and some help in the garden.
