The Humpback whale and mackeral season starts during July and we enjoy getting out and catching a feed of fish while watching the whales cruise by ..last season a couple of Wwoofers that stayed here awhile saw at least 50 whales over several trips during the winter ..some less then 10 metres from our boat.... From Late-July we would particularly love to host one or 2 people to help out around the garden,plant nursery and farm/orchard....Gardening, carpentry,welding or physical labour skills are particularly helpful... I’m Darrall, a long-time design educator and university adjunct working part-time from home, supervising PhD students and doing education research. It’s a unique home near Port Stephens where all the rooms are five-sided pentagons. The house, cottage and permaculture gardens sit close to the inland sea, bushland, beaches, and a village community. Two friends or couples are preferred, up to four guests at a time if the fit is right.
