You will enjoy magical views of the ocean and mountain and will wake to the sounds of the wild birds that flock to our food and water bowls. We aspire to a sustainable way of living and adore our large established organic garden, which we are needing help with maintaining. I live in a Log cabin on one acre a short walk from the beach. It is a small town surrounded by beaches and at the start of the great barrier reef. There are 23 islands within 30 minutes boat ride. My cabin is large with a chilled atmosphere, heaps of music, a camp fire area and a bar outside as well as inside. Painting, general gardening, tree planting and housework is mostly required. Accommodation is in a comfortably caravan with double bed.. Our life style is pretty chilled which includes travel, bbq's, music, kitesurfing and fishing. Depending on what help I need,I would expect 3-4 hours per day for 3-4 days per week. I will provide breakfast, tea and coffee and help show you around this awesome part of Australia. We are a 10 min drive from Airlie beach in the Whitsundays with 72 islands to sail to. there are many ways a helper can help and learn about permaculture and bamboo. You will have your own room here with wifi and the food is fresh and healthy. We have self contained accommodation in the garden if you like. And if you love fishing we catch and cook seafood.
