Our place sits high on a hill with spectacular 360 degree views of mountains, valleys, rolling hills and city lights overlooking all of Albury/Wodonga, twin cities on the Murray River. We are on the main freeway between Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. Large luxury cedar and rock homestead on 100 acres. Lots of historic church features incorporated into the homestead and cute rustic outbuildings , antiques and artistic detail abound. Beautiful and unique large garden filled with 100+ sculptures, many paths to explore, ponds, organic vegetable and berry gardens, free range poultry and wildlife galore and many other interesting features. Lots of fun things to do and see here and everyone who has stayed has left with a happy and memorable experience. We have been a host farm for over 18 years now with well over 250 helpers having stayed. Usually it is only a one to two week stay but that is negotiable depending on how much work there is and how well we all get on. Sometimes I will accept ...

...The Quiet Retreat, a Lifestyle Property...!!! I am located in the north of the East Coast of Tasmania. With only the help of real hard working wwoofer's/ HelpX'ers , I started to build the house and clear the land here 25 years ago, so this place is a BIG BIG credit to all my helpers who worked hard, enjoyed their stay and left their footprint..! As a wwoof host for 35 years, now I feel that for the helpers who come here, maybe, apart from the usual work, self improvement/development could be one of their priorities... a good library of books is available and some very nice music...and of course "grumpy" , me now in my 82 + years..and please understand that I am not a good cook, so help there is esp. welcome, vegetarian only. The good cook mentioned in a lot of reviews has moved on . In the past I practiced meditation/looked at Zen/Osho/Vipassana etc, now I am in the winter years of my life ...LOL..( YES, read the latest feedback carefully, "he says with a smile).. I love mus...

Located on 48 acres of Tasmanian forest, 12 mins from Wynyard on the North West Coast. I have 1 room suitable for a single person or couple who can potentially assist with gardening, cleaning, cooking, wood chopping, child minding or Carpentry. Not necessarily looking for people who have all of these skills, one or two of them is fine. 3-4 hours of work per day (weekends free) are in exchange for a room overlooking the rainforest, 3 meals per day, power and gas. I live here with my 2 children and am easy going and flexible. Nice peaceful location with 2 cats and some chickens. Most immediate things I need help with are cooking the evening meal and housework. We eat mostly vegetarian food and some seafood on occasion and do not have meat in the home. You would be best to have your own car as there is no public transport in the forest. You'd also be welcome to borrow my car at times. I own and run my own business so you'll have the home to yourself alot of the time.

We.previously lived in Boreen Point on the Sunshine Coast where we hosted many helpers through helpx with amazing reviews over a period of 17years.. Most never wanted to leave. We have now moved and bought an equally stunning property in Far North Queensland in a small country town (Cardwell) on 3 acres 15 minutes from beach. We are located between Cairns and Townsville and just south of Mission Beach. Terry and I are not as young as we used to be and are struggling with maintaining the property. We need help for 4hours a day, with weeding, mulching, pruning and watering the gardens and general house cleaning. We back onto tropical rainforest and creek. Help around the inside of property would also be helpful. You will have your own bedroom and own bathroom (1 queen for couples and 2 queens for singles). The fridge will be stocked for you to prepare your own breakfast and lunch and we all sit together for evening meals which I will prepare. We like to take our boat out as much as poss...

We are offering travelers a warm, comfortable two-story Celery Top Pine Pole home we built ourself. You will enjoy magical views of the ocean and mountain and will wake to the sounds of the wild birds that flock to our food and water bowls. We are regularly visited by possums, wallaby's and various other wildlife. If you're lucky you may even see a Tasmanian Devil. We aspire to a sustainable way of living and adore our large established organic garden, which we are needing help with maintaining. We ask helpers to provide a minimum of 4.5 hrs of work each day for 5 days with two full days off. If you would like a day off after working a few days we ask you to make up the hours on other days. Some helpers also purchase their own food and only work 2.5 hours a day if this suits you better. We are also very flexible and happy to listen to your requests. Previous gardening experience is essential as well as cooking/helping with evening meals, household duties, and other jobs as required...

We are new to this platform but have been on workaway for about 6 years. We (My partner Ruby and me (Ross) and our 4 y/o Harriet) live on a little property in Central Victoria about 2 hours from Melbourne. We have been here for 7 years and are slowly chipping away at different projects from house fix ups to garden projects. Ross's background is in horticulture and landscape design and construction so we are putting in a lot of effort to the gardens. He also teaches a couple of days a week online. Ruby is a social worker, she works 4 days per week. Our 4 y/o daughter Harriet loves craft, games and playing doctors and dress ups. We also have two gorgeous/ energetic dogs and chickens. Our place is set on the edge of a creek on about 4 acres of land at the bottom of a ridge. We have an old tavern from around 1860 (now a house), a fairly new studio and a bungalow, caravan and workshops on our property. Ruby and I are both vegetarians and really like food! We are a 5 minute drive the cl...

We are a local family of 4 with an additional yurt space that is fully separate with its own garden area and parking. Very private. Its super close to town of Mullumbimby so you can walk easily and short drive to Byron Bay or Brunswick beaches. There is a large yurt with lounge and king size bed. The outside garden has fruit trees and outdoor kitchen area and bathroom. Most of the daily 2 hrs help asked for is around the property itself, in the garden and some on rural land nearby. Thanks so much!

We are 10 minutes from Byron and we can see the famous Byron lighthouse from our front balcony. We enjoy the company of young people from other cultures and we have already learned a lot from hosting some amazing helpers who have returned several times. . So far we have hosted helpers from 18 different countries and it has been such a delight to get to know delightful young people from a wide range of countries. We need help in managing a 6000 sq meter block with a garden that needs a lot of work and quite a big house that needs cleaning. Our house has views and a pool and spa as well as a media room, all of which, we share with you. If you are over 25, we may be able to lend you a small Toyota Yaris which is registered for free Byron Bay parking. You can use it for short trips into Byron and but you will need to work out how to share the car and petrol costs if we have several helpers staying. Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover younger drivers and witho...

Availability from Nov 16 to Nov 30 2026 I live in Woolloongabba in Brisbane. I have a lovely Queenslander house, which I have been sharing with backpackers for the last one and a half years. I work as a computer trainer in a law firm. I enjoy the arts, which is why I live close to the Major art galleries at South Bank. I also enjoy cycling and a good walk. I have done lots of cycle touring through the UK and some through Europe. I have also enjoyed remote bushwalking in Australia with people who can navigate, as I can't! I am also looking at getting back into my dancing again. So what about the work I need assistance with. I am slowly working on bringing my house and garden back to its original state. It is a bit of work, I am trying to reuse and learn as much through my house renovation process as I can. Often I work with those helping as long as it is a weekend. You are welcome to complete the work during the week over a few days if that is best for you. I enjoy chatting and ...

“Work is love made visible” …Kahlil Gibran If you understand the above quotation then you are the HELPER I want. Please, read EVERYTHING below before requesting hosting. I have only recently returned from a volunteer project in Fiji. Now I am renovating a very old miner's cottage on a half-acre in a cute rural village in central NSW. The Cottage is about 150 years old, built originally with timber that was milled on-site by hand. The original Cypress Pine slabs stand vertical. The cottage is being creatively renovated to display its history and highlight modern, country, lifestyle. The grounds are destined to be turned into organic food gardens and a native species garden. Room for you in-house or caravan. YOU could learn a lot about the Aussie lifestyle, sustainable living, alternative building ...AND have a lot of fun, if you choose to HelpX with Donny. ABOUT DONNY: Donny is a real Aussie Character: He is a retired, alternative builder. He is also an event manager, writer, m...

Hello everybody, Bonjour français welcomed! The kids and Alix are away travelling right now so Cameron is home alone but does need help with preparing land for building. We are a young family of 4. We live on the Northern Beaches in beautiful Pittwater on an island in 1 of the 3 harbours of Sydney, so boat access only!!! It is a beautiful place, with a very close knit community and very different from most places you've been to! Not easy every day but I guess that is also what brought us here! We really like to meet new people and to share our simple lifestyle. We have a few jobs that may be required so depending if you are a single person or a couple and depending of what is needing we might change things around. We are in the process of building so things to do with preparing the built or carrying building materials can be things on the job list. But we would love to get some help around the house. And also maybe some help with kids. We'd be looking for 4-5 hours work a day ...

...The Quiet Retreat, a Lifestyle Property...!!!

I'm looking for one or two girls to help mainly in and around the house. (It has been a bit hot to do any major garden work.) Some spring cleaning and I have to make preserves that I will be selling at the Markets running up to Christmas. I have been a bit busy and haven’t been able to check messages every day. Please call or send a text message to my phone, 0499869922. Please say you saw my ad on HelpX, this way I will get back to you quickly. We are a working cattle farm/station located on the edge of the Australian Outback within an easy 2.5hour drive from Townsville and the Great Barrier Reef. We also attend a regular Market on the 4 Sunday of...

Hello travellers ! Well that is the end of the rain(unless a cyclone comes down from the North - Joking !!)..., from now on it's going to be warm and getting warmer..., to HOT(Jan/Feb) This place is a "very special location" because it's very close to Hamelin Bay and right beside a tall forest National Park. All the usual native animals are free to roam over this land. Kangaroo, Emu, Possum, reptile and so many birds are in abundance on this land. And..., I need a couple of helpers who would like to stay and help me here..., and you will need to be in a camper van or similar..., I provide toilets and showers and there are some really nice and private 'set up' camp sites - for helpers with camper vans and cars with tents etc. This place is 20 minutes pleasant drive to Margaret River or 15 min drive to Augusta(ocean and Blackwood River). I ask for 2 hours easy work in exchange for helpers experiencing this special location !. The kind of help needed is....., weeding..., raking ...
