Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

We are looking for a helper or 2 to help out with some springtime propagation, potting up plants around our little nursery and a project or 2 around the farm.... Volunteers can use their time here to sign off for 7 days a week towards their 88 days 2nd or 3rd year visa sign off and we have helped many backpackers secure a second/third year visa as we are registered primary producers in the correct postcode for "disaster relief". Please make sure you let us know you are looking to get your visa days signed off so we can provide appropriate work from the cyclone recovery list...also be sure to answer the questions at the end of this description in your initial email to us... Love to host a strong guy or 2, or a couple that have some gardening/farming experience or has carpentry skills that's keen to help out around the property and also spend some boating trips, catching barramundi, crocodile spotting, fishing and exploring the islands and snorkeling... so we would prefer folks that h...

NON SMOKERS ONLY! I am in LAUNCESTON TASMANIA. I (Yvonne) have a house in West Launceston, it is not a farm, it is a friendly house in a quiet Launceston suburb! I can accommodate one or two FEMALE helpers (Due to the religious Haram restrictions of one of our residents I can't accommodate male helpers) for about a week or so. Current vacancies are from after 8th December to late December 2025, and then again after 18th January 2026. Minimum stay three nights. Please inquire about available dates. Accommodation (for a single or two females) is in a private room with a double-bed. (Pictured). I can also add a single camp-bed in this room if helpers are two women who don't share a bed. I have been unwell, have poor eyesight, am on a restricted diet and am often busy doing volunteer community work, so I find it too difficult to have to cook meals and supply food. I can only offer an arrangement where you do two hours work per day for just accommodation and you supply your own food and...

This is very much a cultural exchange (for us and for you) as you will be in our family home sharing our lifestyle. NO SMOKERS OR VEGETARIANS PLEASE. We prefer our helpers to stay 2 weeks or more. Work outside is a major part of what we do so expect to be outside on a rural property as part of the experience. Please message us through this platform to allow us to view your profile The property is located 60km South of Brisbane and 20km West of the Gold Coast on the upper North slope of Mt Tamborine, 320m above sea level. ABSOLUTELY,No smoking or vaping on the property at all. No exceptions. I HAVE RECENTLY HAD PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT FOLLOWED THIS GUIDELINE. I prefer to breathe clean air. NO SMELLY, PERFUMED SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, BODYWASH SUNSCREENS OR DEODORANTS PLEASE, I CAN SUPPLY ALTERNATIVES. How about heading south to the most beautiful part of Australia? Or if you are already in Tasmania, that's a bonus. We are always welcoming and love to show off our stunning island home. Work would involve getting the garden ready for planting this Spring and other various farm jobs. Nothing too hard or difficult. I'd like some help clearing and establishing some walking tracks through the forest on the property. I prefer people with experience in gardening and farm work. Looking for someone from now, through the next few weeks. When you first contact me [or any other host] it is very helpful to tell us what date you would like to arrive and leave. It helps us to co- ordinate things so as many people as ...

We can sign off on the 88 days, All goes toward your visa extension. There is always something happening on the farm not too stressful. Helpers say this to be a good safe place to start your travels!! . Learn the wild life ,weather, slang or just Hit the reset button🤔😂 , Re boot , Recharge, Re focus & Re access. The area is often referred to as, 'The last frontier', due to the extreme weather & wildlife. We had a natural disaster with excessive flooding in December, 4895, disaster recovery program. It is a whole different experience if you are keen to give us a go. Physical fitness helps for bush walks or beach combing , Learning how to swim or swimming training. We need helpers who are willing to give anything a go, outgoing, and willing to experience a very different lifestyle. We especially want you if you have INITIATIVE, can work INDEPENDENTLY and INTUITIVELY. We welcome anyone, from anywhere in the world , Poor English is OK but some basic understanding is preferred. PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. Our home is a large old weatherboard house in beautiful Sherbrooke, in the Mount Dandenong Ranges. This dear old place may one-day soon again become guest-house, like it was 100 years ago. Meantime both house and garden need plenty of tender loving care. The hills are a popular destination, with native forests for walking, public gardens, villages, cafes, good coffee, and galleries. See: http://www.villagesofmtdandenong.com.au/ for a look at the attractions. Sherbrooke itself is made up of a state forest and a mountain village. It is recognised internationally as the home of the Lyrebird, and many native birds visit us daily. Sherbrooke is one hour drive east of Melbourne city, or 1 hour on the train from Melbourne to nearby Belgrave. As a busy professional household, in recent years we have been grateful for helpers' assistance with yard-work, household chores, firewood management and painting. We have a large organic home fruit and vegetable garden. Skills needed now include ga...

HI HELPERS!!! WELCOME TO JOHN`S FUN FACTORY!!! BULLETIN: I live in a beautiful isolated Tasmanian mountain valley surrounded by world heritage rain forest and some VERY TALL Trees!(but not as big as the Hinoki trees at AliShan in Taiwan!!) Most of my property is a nature reserve, but I have a 2 Hectare orchard, berry garden and vegetable garden which are all useless! The possums, wallabies and birds eat most of these (trees included!) so we live on ice cream and chocolate biscuits instead! Please come and help us eat the biscuits so I don`t get too fat! Oh, by the way, all the Wallabies are called "Skippy" and they don`t mind a bit of apple or banana occasionally. I have been a volunteer host for 18 years and I have had more than 1700(Yes!!!you read it correctly!) fabulous, lovely, wonderful volunteers stay with me. Many of them have come back for second, third…or even 10th visits!!!!! Work can be really diverse including tree planting, mowing grass, helping to install forest fire...

I live in the town of Wagga Wagga only minutes from the town centre that is accessible by walking or bus. I have been a Permaculture practitioner for 40 years and so I grow perennials including berries, apples, quince, herbs, quails on my little urban property. I have designed my place so I collect a lot of the water that falls on my land, I recycle and compost all organic waste and produce very little hard waste. I live here on my own mostly but sometimes my children are here. I am also a Yoga Instructor. If you come to stay and help me, I'd be happy for you to join my general classes at a Yoga Centre in town on Monday and Wednesday evenings. I also teach yoga at my home most weekday evenings and sometimes private classes in the daytime. I also have a small property just out of town. This is developed in to an allotment type garden where 14 people rent out small plots to do their own gardening. It's very new but going well and has a good vibe. This allotment garden is always in ne...

Hello travellers ! The rain(unless a cyclone comes down from the North) has basically finished now..., from now on it's going to be warm and getting warmer..., to HOT(Jan/Feb) I invite helpers who are travelling in a camper van or similar to come and help here. This is a "very special location" because it is 'away' from the hustle of Margaret River(20 min away) and only 15 min drive to Augusta..., also It is very close to Hamelin Bay and it's right beside a tall forest National Park. All the usual native animals roam freely over this land - Kangaroo, Emu, Possum, reptile and so many birds are in abundance on this land. I need a couple of helpers here..., who are staying in their own camper van, roof top tent or similar..., I provide clean toilets and showers plus rain water. There are also some really nice and private 'set up' camp sites here. I ask for 2 hours easy work in exchange for helpers experiencing this special location !. The kind of help needed is....., weeding..., r...

We are a retired couple, but very active and busy. As a result, we are struggling to keep up with tasks like weeding our vegetable garden, lawn mowing, other simple garden maintenance and light housework & house maintenance. We would greatly appreciate anyone who could help with any of these tasks - and even cook a little if you enjoy doing that. We live in a beautiful and accessible part of the Adelaide Hills. We often see and hear koalas in the trees around us, we are just a few minutes drive from Mt. Lofty and Cleland Conservation Park and the Mt. Lofty Botanic Gardens and a 15 minute drive from the lovely tourist village of Hahndorf. There are also many walking trails including the Heysen Trail virtually on our doorstep. Don't be surprised if you see colourful parrots in our trees or eating from our birdfeeder almost every day. We also have a very friendly small dog! The city of Adelaide is just a 20 min drive away and if you don't have a car, there is a bus stop right o...

Hi my name is Joanna and Im an open minded, friendly, well travelled single woman. I love to learn about different cultures and languages and share the beauty of the paradise I call home. I live on a 1/4 acre palm fringed block about 15 minutes out of the cairns city. It is very quiet and you will look over the large swimming pool from our breezy deck. Gaze at the stars and the mountains nearby. It is like living in nature with out going too far from the city. My house is a brand new 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, architectural dream. I need your help with garden maintenance, cleaning, odd jobs and driving me to and from the town as I am now in a wheelchair. I am very independent and able to get around. I really would like company and to share a chat over delicious meals. We share the space with Charlie a friendly well behaved golden retriever who is mega laid back.

There is work removing trees, tidying up the garden and removing debris from the fires and recent storms. There is also cleaning work helping Cate with property management. During free time you are welcome to borrow our electric scooters and go swimming and exploring. We live in Mallacoota, one of Australia's most beautiful places on the southeast coast. This is a 13 acre (5.1 ha) property in Robinson, west of Albany. It is a new property for us so we are currently planting trees to re-vegetate the property. We have an extensive home orchard and several vegetable gardens. Our animals include chickens, geese, ducks and horses as well as rapidly increasing herd of milking goats. We like having help for a couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours late afternoon - generally coinciding with feeding animals and milking/bottle feeding times.

Hi, I run an alpaca stud specialising in suri alpacas. I also run Wiltipoll sheep as a source of meat. I am attempting to be fully self sufficient and the accommodation is all off grid (but very high tech). There is also satellite TV for the evenings. However, you still need to be aware of not leaving electrical appliances and lights running unnecessarily as well as 5 minute showers. I have only been living here since August 2014 and am still building the garden to the standard I want as well as fencing off various areas. I have internet access via satellite which is quite reliable and your phone will default to going through the satellite. Otherwise, mobile phone coverage is variable - if you are with Optus there is very little signal. You are best off with Telstra as there seems to be better coverage by them. you can access your phone via the wifi which is satellite and more reliable. If you are looking for a party scene this is not the place. My place is very quiet and tranquil a...

At our off- grid solar, wood and gravity powered homestead you can live very close to Nature and learn by helping, how to grow your own food in the big, fully caged vegie garden/ orchard and some of how to build a bush cabin (it could be a winning strategy in years to come). We are long term, committed advocates, for climate change action and we've lived with Sustainability and Creating a low "Carbon Footprint" in mind, for 40 yrs now, settling here, (inland of Taree / Port Macquarie) from scratch in 1980, on 680 acres of rocky ridge forest on the wild and steep NW edge of the Bulga Plateau, 500m above sea level (a very beautiful but challenging location)! Watch our YouTube video below, about our community and us, made by the very talented helpxer, Louie Ablett. Three of us live here now, myself 74, David 84 and Sue 64, who started as a WWOOFer and has moved here with the help of a voluntary activity agreement through Centrelink for over 55s'. Sue came in September 2019 , lost th...

We welcome volunteers, preferably couples with their own car, to our peaceful 20-acre property just 45 minutes south of Perth’s CBD. We’re a professional couple who take pride in our land and the animals we care for, three ponies, four horses, an Angus steer, two dogs, a cat, and ten chickens. It’s a friendly, down-to-earth environment where helpers can enjoy country life and lend a hand with daily routines on the property You’ll have your own comfortable room in our home with a queen-size bed, unlimited fast WiFi, and all meals provided – breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In exchange, we ask for 4 hours of help per day, 5 days a week. The work is physical and hands-on, including property maintenance and land regeneration. A good level of fitness and practical skills in manual labour are essential. Experience in areas like carpentry, mechanics, or farm/horse work is strongly preferred. This is not a role suited to those without hands-on experience or a willingness to work hard outdoors....

Please message us through this platform to allow us to view your profile The property is located 60km South of Brisbane and 20km West of the Gold Coast on the upper North slope of Mt Tamborine, 320m above sea level. We are surrounded by National Parks and abundant wildlife. The property is 6Ha with a sub-tropical climate and has great country views to the North up to 140km on a clear day. We also have a tennis court (I will always give preference to tennis players who love to cook and eat great food), an outdoor cob pizza oven, chooks/ducks, two Rh...

Our place sits high on a hill with spectacular 360 degree views of mountains, valleys, rolling hills and city lights overlooking all of Albury/Wodonga, twin cities on the Murray River. We are on the main freeway between Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. Large luxury cedar and rock homestead on 100 acres. Lots of historic church features incorporated into the homestead and cute rustic outbuildings , antiques and artistic detail abound. Beautiful and unique large garden filled with 100+ sculptures, many paths to explore, ponds, organic vegetable and berry gardens, free range poultry and wildlife galore and many other interesting features. Lots of fun things to do and see here and everyone who has stayed has left with a happy and memorable experience. We have been a host farm for over 18 years now with well over 250 helpers having stayed. Usually it is only a one to two week stay but that is negotiable depending on how much work there is and how well we all get on. Sometimes I will accept ...

A nice honest person is good enough.
