We are offering travelers a warm, comfortable two-story Celery Top Pine Pole home we built ourself. You will enjoy magical views of the ocean and mountain and will wake to the sounds of the wild birds that flock to our food and water bowls. We are regularly visited by possums, wallaby's and various other wildlife. If you're lucky you may even see a Tasmanian Devil. We aspire to a sustainable way of living and adore our large established organic garden, which we are needing help with maintaining. We ask helpers to provide a minimum of 4.5 hrs of work each day for 5 days with two full days off. If you would like a day off after working a few days we ask you to make up the hours on other days. Some helpers also purchase their own food and only work 2.5 hours a day if this suits you better. We are also very flexible and happy to listen to your requests. Previous gardening experience is essential as well as cooking/helping with evening meals, household duties, and other jobs as required...

Hi you young and beautiful travelers, Bundaberg is a less known touristic town, with a mild climate, beautiful beaches and wonderful surroundings. It is also an agricultural country town with many backpackers hostels . With a bit of lack there might be opportunities for paid work on a farm. It’s only 350km north of Brisbane and easily reachable by train. My home is only a few minutes drive from the town center, yet secluded and peaceful, sitting on 2.5 acres. I am looking for people who would like to visit this promising coastal town and help with general house and backyard maintenance, around 4 -5 hours a day, 6 days a week. The person helping me will have a home away from home and a cosy room to rest in. I am hoping he/she will treat the place with respect and consideration, observing the few requirements related to the use of bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise, regretfully, we will have to part ways sooner then expected. A good home cooked meal and an occasional glass of wine is...

Hello! 😊 We are a friendly French couple living in Huntingdale, about 20 minutes from Perth, with our adorable 4 month old baby 🦊 We’re looking for a kind, trustworthy and easy-going woman to join our home and share a bit of our daily life. We really value a warm, respectful and relaxed atmosphere. The help we’re looking for includes: • Light house cleaning 🧹 • Very light gardening 🌿 • Spending time with our baby (someone comfortable with young babies is important) 👶🏻 • Keeping us company 😊 • A bit of DIY (sanding and varnishing a table and chairs) 🪚 This is not heavy work at all. We’re mainly looking for someone lovely to share everyday life with and give us a small hand here and there.

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON. Need help with a garden clean up, at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed, skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town. It is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay, 2 hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. Hello, I’m David! I have sold my coffee shop after 45 years in the hospitality trade, where travelling workers would once work, however I STILL offer helpers the same excellent own room lodging as homestay & great food in exchange for a little light work and some social contact. I live close the train station and bus stop and am a 30 min trip by train to Melbourne City. There is a vehicle to drive locally if are appropriately licensed. You are welcome to use it. I go to the outback in western New South Wales about 3 times a year for the purpose of experiencing the beautiful "timeless land" of Australia and to legally hunt feral animals which endanger our wildlife. I often take workers to the outback so they can have a taste of the real Australia and I can assure that none of the numerous helpers/woofers I have taken over a many year period did not thoroughly enjoy it. . However the choice is theirs whether they accompany myself or whether they stay and "mind the house" I also oft...

We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing, and energizing our own water though Ionisation. Water conservation is part of life for me. You can come to Maryborough via plane, bus or train. The Hervey Bay Airport is only 30min from my home. There are meanwhile several bus companies to choose from. If you use the train please book Maryborough town from the drop down menu. The shuttle bus from the train station in Maryborough west (20 min out of town) is free of charge if it is pre-booked. As international travelers you qualify for a concession card on Queensland tra...

Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). Accommodation would take form of a fully insulated cute tiny garden room with access to undercover cooking area and bathroom. IT is small so please See photos. On week days we are usually working it Perth so we cant provide meals, but a well-stocked supermarket is 200 metres away. We average 2/3 hours a day painting, plumbing gardening and other repairs and can negotiate best time to do that, for example maybe it’s more convenient to do two longer days during the week. NON SMOKERS ONLY! I am in LAUNCESTON TASMANIA. I (Yvonne) have a house in West Launceston, it is not a farm, it is a friendly house in a quiet Launceston suburb! I can accommodate one or two FEMALE helpers (Due to the religious Haram restrictions of one of our residents I can't accommodate male helpers) for about a week or so. Minimum stay three nights. Please inquire about available dates. Accommodation (for a single or two females) is in a private room with a double-bed. (Pictured). I can also add a single camp-bed in this room if helpers are two women who don't share a bed. I have been unwell, have poor eyesight, am on a restricted diet and am often busy doing volunteer community work, so I find it too difficult to have to cook meals and supply food. I can only offer an arrangement where you do two hours work per day for just accommodation and you supply your own food and cook your own meals. If this sounds like something you would be OK with, do contact me! Helpers assist me mo...

We have approximately 2000 hectares of undulating country, situated in the middle of New South Wales. We run sheep, cattle, and do some farming. We run approximately 1500 sheep, which need lamb marking and shearing. With the cattle we have mustering and yard work. We also have daily feeding of calves and lambs. The bee hives need some attention, eg extracting honey, moving boxes around, cleaning area. We also have chickens and turkeys, which need attention daily and working dogs to be cared for. With fencing and building we also need help. We have composting, vegetable garden and fruit trees. When it rains we need help with our grain farming. Currently we need help with cutting fire wood around the property, this will consist of 3 to 4 hours per day and can help get you some pocket money and also experience the land. I also have bee hives that need some attention a...

We are also registered on Airbnb, but often have some availabilty if you want to check! Currently fully booked until end of 2026! Feel free to check as there may be a few days available here and there if that is all you need before starting or ending an Aussie adventure. When there is availability its generally simple, easy tasks like weeding back and front yard clean up- exterior house and window cleaning. We are a family of four: Thomas (42), originally from France; myself, Amber (38), from Taiwan; and our two children, Enzo (8) and little Mia (4), both born in Australia. Thomas and I came to Australia on working holiday visas 10 years ago, and we have since built our lives here and become Australian citizens. We both love travelling and meeting new people to share stories and experiences with. At home, Thomas and I speak English together, but we speak only French and Chinese with Enzo and Mia. We have hosted many helpers from France, China, and Taiwan, and we find it is a great opportunity for people who are not yet confident in English to practise with us in a relaxed environment :) The area we live in is very quiet, safe, and surrounded by trees. There is plenty of free street parking, which is perfect if you are travelling with a car. We are happy to consider friends, couples, or even families if your child is a similar age to Enzo and Mia ;) Very important: we are looking for p...

We live on a 4 acre property, aiming for self-sufficiency. We grow all of our own eggs and meat (chickens, cattle, pigs, sheep), a large vegetable garden, and many fruit trees. We are almost completely organic, but not entirely. Tinker does a lot of preserving with our produce - fruit, vegetables, meat and eggs - using different preserving methods (pickling, pressure canning, water bathing, fermenting, dehydrating). In the winter we do charcuterie/salumi with our farm raised pigs. Ad makes home brew beer, and also likes making sausages, trying new recipes. We can teach you about these if it is possible during your stay. Let us know if you particularly want to learn something, as not everything is possible all year. Aside from our current projects there is always garden work (making and spreading mulch, weeding, animal care, fruit tree & vegie garden maintenance) as well as general household stuff. We eat very well (as much as you like) and if you like to cook, we have an extremely ...

We live in a large old house 20km inland of Byron Bay, in a quiet area of farmland and bush. We have a large garden and vegetable garden which is where we primarily need help. We have chickens, cats and 2 donkeys! We can offer a separate 'cottage' to stay in, and we provide all meals- some helpers have not wanted to go home! There is our new natural pool to cool off in too. In return we request 4 hours of genuine work per day. We are 8km from the nearest village so your own car is a big advantage, although we can pick you up if you don't have transport. Our family loves the cultural exchange aspect of HelpX and looks forward to meeting you and learning about your country. Right now we have work to do outdoors mainly weeding, some heavy lifting, pool cleaning, painting & gardening.

We hope you can join us. Currently looking for keen and energetic people who can join us in making our piece of Paradise even better while you have a memorable lifetime experience that will enrich your life. We love sharing who we are and what we have to inspire others to thrive on the land while working with and amongst nature. We want to show you how to be comfortable in nature; to re-learn how to be a part of nature rather than apart from nature. We have two rooms exclusively for HelpX guests; one room with a double bed, the other with a bunk bed. You have your own bathroom and toilet. We also have our delightful Avan; a compact caravan that has a double bed and a single bed for those who want to live more out amongst nature. We have a range of projects on offer, depending upon our needs at the time and your enthusiasm, skill set, interests and desire to learn new things. Some of the options include building our bushfire resilience and working on maintaining and invigorating ou...

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature single people are open now. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is not raining or too hot. ...

🏡 Welcome to my home - The property is set on approximately 3 acres of bushland and is home to wallabies, native birdlife and the occasional koala. We are only minutes from Currumbin Beach, Burleigh Heads, national parks, shops and public transport. I have hosted many travellers over the years and enjoy meeting people from different cultures who are independent, respectful and happy to contribute to a shared household. I share the property with my two small dogs, Dastin and Tensing, who are very much part of the household. Animal lovers are especially welcome. Accommodation- has continued to improve as the property recovers from a long period of insurance and restoration works. For quite some time we were making do with temporary arrangements, including inflatable beds, however I have now been able to furnish two guest rooms. Accommodation currently includes: • One bedroom with a queen bed • One bedroom with a double sofa bed The bathroom is shared with one other resident. Shared...

**We are currently seeking a helpxer to help us with some specific yard chores, mulching, digging, painting, weeding, cleaning; landscaping carpentry skills would be advantageous. If you are a couple we would require one person to help in the yard, and the other to prepare meals and do general housekeeping work. The window we have available is from now until mid July, but we can't commit to a long stay as we work away. I'm sorry but we can't help with a visa. **** We are an active, easygoing couple in our early 60's living in a spacious house not far from the beach. We have a young couple renting the 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor of the house. We like to swim, surf, walk, bike, eat healthy food. We both travelled on a budget when we were young and understand the benefit of local hospitality and being able to trade labour for board. We are very friendly, easygoing, flexible and welcoming and believe that this would be a great experience to remember on your trip to/aro...

What can we offer?? We have a small rural farm of 72 acres with some cattle. There is a nearby river with some water holes for swimming as well as extensive opportunities for bush walking in the rugged hills surrounding the farm home to over 200 varieties of birds as well as wallabies and goannas and indeed one koala seen the other day We are situated in the scenic and historic St. Albans only 100km form Sydney. Adjacent to the property is the Common a land grant issued by Queen Victoria to sustain local cattle farms during periods of drought etc. The area initially settled as a food source for the Sydney basin, as well as a historical area based around convict and early settlement. Farm managed by friendly older couple (some French spoken with a comfortable farmhouse available for a couple). c Area is also 80km from large towns so here is a need for own transport if possible although host may provide transport at times agreed upon. For example helpers could be ransported to an...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . We.previously lived in Boreen Point on the Sunshine Coast where we hosted many helpers through helpx with amazing reviews over a period of 17years.. Most never wanted to leave. We have now moved and bought an equally stunning property in Far North Queensland in a small country town (Cardwell) on 3 acres 10 minutes from beach. We are located between Cairns and Townsville and just south of Mission Beach. Terry and I are not as young as we used to be and are struggling with maintaining the property. We need help for 4hours a day, with weeding, mulching, pruning and watering the gardens and general house cleaning. We back onto tropical rainforest and creek. Help around the inside of property would also be helpful. You will have your own bedroom and own bathroom (1 queen for couples and 2 queens for singles). The fridge will be stocked for you to prepare your own breakfast and lunch and we all sit together for evening meals which I will prepare. There are many stunning waterfalls and walk...

There is a mountain on my farm with lots of t...

We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. When you email please let us know when you plan to get to Perth and how you are travelling (flying in, driving or bus etc.). If you are already in Perth, where you are staying and how long you would like stay. We can send you more details when you enquire, including advi...

We are looking for up to 2 people to help feed cattle and sheep, and a handyman that would like to do some building work.

Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...
